Lovely, memorable experience

I had an absolutely great experience with Ultimate Bride. Amanda and Greta, in particular, was very kind and helpful throughout my shopping and fitting process. The fit of my dress was excellent and the bustle worked perfectly. Greta did a beautiful job with the alterations and I was given helpful directions for storing/prepping my dress on the wedding weekend. Visiting Ultimate Bride for dress shopping and my alterations were some of the highlights of my whole wedding-planning process.

Great service and very happy with my dress!

I purchased and tailored my wedding dress at Ultimate Bride, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Their service was top-notch; the staff was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel so special throughout the entire process. The selection of dresses was absolutely stunning, offering a diverse range of styles, fabrics, and designers to choose from.

Special shoutout to Kathia, my stylist, who went above and beyond in helping me find my dream dress. She was never pushy or judgmental and made me feel very comfortable expressing how I felt about each dress I tried, which was crucial in finding the right dress for me.

In addition, Maya, the alteration specialist, also deserves praise for her impeccable tailoring service. She was patient and understood what I wanted to achieve. She ensured that my dress fit like a glove, with precise attention to every detail, making the entire experience stress-free.

Plus, their timeliness was impressive; my dress was ready well ahead of schedule, giving me one less thing to worry about before the big day.

Lastly, the store environment was elegant and calming.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in finding my dream wedding dress. Highly recommend!

The BEST experience to find my DREAM dress!

I had the BEST experience finding my wedding dress at Ultimate Bride. We got married on 10/15/22 at the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center and I began my dress search in September 2021. Brandy was an absolute dream to work with in my first trial appointment and my second. She completely understood my vision and brought me a range of styles that both read my mind and introduced me to something unique. She really helped me find the most perfect Ines Di Santo magical gown that delivered on the chic, one of a kind vision I had in mind!! She made me feel confident and assured. She also gave me the best advice to not show my dress to anyone and let it be a surprise on the wedding day! Once I landed on my dream dress, Ultimate Bride was highly communicative with next steps. I do not live in Chicago, so they were very accommodating with helping me to schedule my fittings. I worked with Gianna for my fitting experience and she was INCREDIBLE. Gianna was highly knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable throughout the experience. She made sure the dress fit me light a glove and that I was confident and comfortable in it. Both Brandy and Gianna and the entire Ultimate Bride team helped me choose a dress that made me feel like the absolute best version of myself for my big day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Flawless process for a perfect wedding look!

I found my dream dress at Ultimate Bride, and I am so happy I did because the entire process from try on to alterations was stress free and enjoyable. They suggested ways to make my bridal look my own by making a semi-custom cape with lace that matched the lace of my dress. It was so fun to see the look come together and they were so attentive to every detail ensuring that everything was perfect at the end. It was very easy to contact them via text. I would highly recommend them to any bride!

Loved this place!

All I can say is wow! I had the best experience at this salon! I had a smaller budget for my dress and they worked within that budget! I ended up falling in love with a sample gown that had minor damage and the manager fixed the lace herself before I picked up the gown! She said she searched their backroom till she found the same lace! Just really went above and beyond for me and I can’t recommend them enough!

Cannot recommend enough!

I had the most amazing experience at Ultimate Bride and cannot recommend them enough! I ended up at Ultimate Bride because my first wedding dress (purchased from another Chicago bridal shop) was ruined during alterations. With only 2 months before my wedding, my mom called Ultimate Bride on a whim (and in a panic) to see if they could help me find a new dress, and Constantine (the owner) assured her it would not be a problem.

When I arrived to Ultimate Bride, Amanda and Lori were SO kind, patient, accommodating, and helpful. Amanda pulled several dresses for me to try that fit the exact style I was looking for (they have an amazing selection), and Lori called the designers to make sure that those specific dresses could be rush ordered since I was in a time crunch. The very last dress Amanda pulled out for me to try ended up being a new, off the rack sample that had never been worn before, and oddly enough was my exact size! They allowed me to purchase that exact dress the day I tried it on and I was able to leave feeling SO relieved and happy. I ended up loving this dress more than my first! I also loved that alterations were in house. Their alterations team is so talented and did an amazing job on my dress – I could not have been happier with how it turned out.

LASTLY, a glass of red wine was spilled on my dress at my wedding reception and completely stained the skirt – Diane spent nearly an hour on the phone with my mom guiding her through exactly who to reach out to and how to handle the cleaning process. We so appreciated her time and guidance!

Every single person we interacted with at Ultimate Bride went above and beyond to make a stressful situation such a positive and fun experience. I am recommending them to all of my newly engaged friends without hesitation Truly the best of the best!

I am obsessed with Ultimate Bride. Everyone there is so professional and so kind. I absolutely loved my Monique Lhuillier dress. The alterations were perfect. They made me feel at ease and also like a princess. Highly recommend Ultimate Bride for your designer wedding dress!

I am a fashion major, so the pressure was on for my dress. I told Wendy that I wanted something backless and was really in love with lace. I also mentioned I hate ball gowns. Wendy definitely abided by my backless theme but went off the beaten path with the material. While every dress was beautiful, I wanted a classic chic dress that I will love forever and ever. After my amazing experience at Ultimate Bride, I had another appt with a different salon. Wendy wrote down the dresses I really loved and the prices. After we went to the other place, which didn't even compare to Ultimate Bride, we had to decipher over drinks. I immediately called Ultimate Bride and asked if they could get out 4 dresses for me to try on one last time before the closed for the weekend. They were kind enough to bring out the dresses and have my friends come and see the gowns. I chose an Austin Scarlett dress with bow detail in the back. Wendy knew I wanted something interesting on the back and once she put a belt on, it was a slam dunk. Then the alterations team was amazing. I kept losing weight and they kept bringing it in and I wanted the bow to be fuller so they put netting in the bow. They were amazing. Not only that, but they shipped the dress to Iowa so we didn't need to pay tax. My experience from beginning to end was amazing at Ultimate Bride. Thank you so much for finding the perfect dress for me and having it fit perfectly!

I found my wedding dress at Ultimate Bride and had such an amazing experience!

Amanda was my consultant and is so sweet! She listened to my ideas and found me the most perfect wedding dress. It felt like I was dress shopping with a best friend! She stopped by during my alterations appointments to make sure everything went perfectly!

I absolutely loved my experience at Ultimate Bride! When you first walk in you are greeted in a pretty lobby area, the receptionist is very professional and nice. I worked with Rachel who was amazing. She took me back to a very large fitting room and my mom sat outside next to the pedestal. Rachel pulled dresses & styles I had mentioned and also those I would never pick out, but this was great because it gave everyone a good idea of what looked good on my shape and also what I wanted. Rachel was very observant, she listened to me and my mom and offered feedback but mostly, she listened. You could see her working, as if she had a mental dress catalog just spinning in her brain. I really trusted she knew what she was going. She worked fast and efficiently and made me very comfortable. I saw THE dress before she even put it on me, the second she clamped me in I knew it was the one! I told Rachel that I wouldn't be buying that day because I'm not someone that can make spontaneous purchases and she was totally cool with it, we made a follow-up appointment to come back and get the dress, there was ZERO pressure which I really appreciated. The woman who took my measurements was very nice as well. Overall, and amazing experience! Can't wait to go back for my fittings!

The dress selection is amazing, and the service is fantastic. But above all else, the alterations department is full of rock stars. The dress was tailored so perfectly to me; everyone commented not only on how beautiful the dress was, but also how amazing it fit. It's worth the money!

The dresses are absolutely beautiful! They are expensive, but well worth the cost! Wonderful to work with and so fun to get to know the workers! They sure know what they are doing!!

I had an excellent experience shopping for my gown at Ultimate Bride; This was the first boutique that I tried a wedding gown at, and my salesperson Laura was FANTASTIC. She knew exactly what I was looking for-the first gown that she pulled for me was the one I fell in love with and ordered. Despite loving the first choice, she was able to pull a few more options for me to try (all of which were consistent with my aesthetic), to have something to compare the first gown to. She was very patient, genuine, attentive and not pushy at all. Overall, the boutique has great options for every bride; traditional, modern, bohemian...etc. and their customer service is super.

They have a beautiful wedding gown selection. After going to multiple bridal salons and starting to get a little worried, I was able to get a last minute appointment one week later on a Friday night at Ultimate. I described what I was looking for to my my sales associate and had a good feeling after she responded that she might have just what I was looking for. Sure enough, once she showed me that dress and I tried it on I knew it was the one! Everyone there was so nice and made me feel like a princess from start to finish. I cannot say enough positive things about the service, the quality of the gowns and the alterations women who do an incredible job!

In October, I purchased my dress from Ultimate Bride and could not be happier with the service that they've provided! I was unable to make a decision between two different Monique Lhuillier wedding dresses and my consultant was able to help me make custom changes to basically combine the two looks. Since then, I did have a moment of panic wondering if all of the requested changes would go through, so I called up the boutique and asked for sketches, etc. to calm my nerves. William took my call and put me in touch with Ellen who asked that I come in. I was in really good hands with Ellen, as she answered all of my crazy questions and put together a make-shift sample for me to try on until my dress comes in. I am so much more at ease now and could not be more excited for my dress to come in! Thank you William & Ellen!

My dress was most likely my favorite thing about my wedding. The staff at Ultimate Bride was super nice, my dress was gorgeous, and the alterations lady and veil specialist were incredible. We used my mother's vintage veil to create a new veil and the alterations department took the extra fabric from my dress and made a flower for the flower girl's dress. Simply awesome. Would recommend.

After going to Vera Wang and another bridal store on Oak Street, I stopped by Ultimate Brides on Oak and found the perfect dress. I worked with Laura and I absolutely LOVED her. She was so sweet and easy to work with. I originally had a type of bridal dress that I wanted in my mind from looking through magazines, but after trying on similar dresses, it just did not suit me. Laura suggested I try on a 2 piece dress by Monique Lhuillier even though it didn't fit in the category of dress that I like, and initially in my head i was thinking "2 piece???!!! isn't it going to look like a 90's prom dress?" After she took it out, I realized it was a corset type top and a separate gorgeous skirt which goes over the top, and one look in the mirror, I FELL IN LOVE! It was the one. Ordered my dress right then and there with Laura and the gown came in earlier than expected. My alterations were also done by Maria at Ultimate Brides and she was fantastic as well. Everything fit like a glove for the day of the wedding. Thank you Laura and Maria!!!

The best dress shop in the Chicagoland area by far! My consultant was the sweetest woman ever. Since I live an hour away from the shop, we spoke mostly on the phone and she put so much effort into finding the perfect dress for me. I had already bought one dress from another store and was unhappy with it, so I was on a limited budget for a second dress. She found me a sample that was brand new and before I even saw it, she predicted that it was the one I was going to love. She was right!

The woman I tried on with listened to what I was saying while I tried on, and eventually brought me the Monique Lhullier that made my mom cry. It was more than I wanted to spend, but I was able to catch them on a trunk show weekend and make it doable. The altering was perfect and beautiful and the women were so adorable, helpful, and complementary. They made me feel perfect. I would definitely recommend Ultimate.

I was a little nervous at first when I made my appointment at Ultimate Bride, because I knew they carried very expensive gowns and I had heard that occasionally they could be a bit snotty. This was not the case at all. The salesgirl who sold me my dress was totally polite and helpful and I really appreciated the effort she put forth in helping me find my dress. (I can be a bit shy and reserved, so the many questions she asked about what I was looking for really helped us narrow things down).

The gown which I ultimately chose was perfect. We had managed to find a gown which was a wonderful reflection of me (not just another white dress...) I received many compliments on my gown and I cannot recommend the salon more highly. Yes, their gowns are more pricey than others, but just make sure to ask when you make your appointment so it fits with your budget.

Lastly I really must mention that their alterations department was excellent. They fitted my gown to me perfectly and I did not have to worry at any point during my wedding whether my gown would stay up, whether the bustle would hold up or whether anything looked funny.

My mom and I flew to the Ultimate Bride for the day to purchase my wedding gown. Ultimate Bride was the only bridal store that was willing to find and bring in the wedding dress of my dreams. Driving to my appointment they had "my" dress placed in their storefront window, which was exciting to see. Although the store was very busy during our appointment that service and attentiveness of our consultant. It was a wonderful experience to go along with our wonderful wedding day. My dress looked AMAZING!

Ultimate Bride made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. From the moment I stepped foot in the cute, unique boutique, I knew I would not have any trouble finding a dress. The best part about my experience with Ultimate Bride was that I found a dress online by Monique Lhuillier and Ultimate Bride was able to locate it for me and fly it in so I could try it on! I ended up buying that dress for my wedding.

We used The Ultimate Bride (Brandi) for both my gown and my bridesmaids' dresses. Everything came out perfectly, on time, with no problems. The ladies there are very professional, and extremely helpful. They had the best selection of designer gowns in the city.

Although I didn't love my buying experience having felt a little rushed into purchasing something, in the end I picked the perfect dress at a decent price. To be fair though I don't love shopping and felt a little overwhelmed by all the choices. I was lucky enough to snag a sample (in perfect condition) which saved a $1000. I didn't love it but liked it and found it to be very comfortable. Plus they assured me at the store that I could alter it to the vision I had in my mind (with straps and with fewer embellishments). And where they really shone through was in the alterations department. They did a fantastic job and in only three fittings! I'm sure they tell everyone that they have a beautiful dress at pick up but I really felt that I did.

Very talented and professional staff!

I had a fantastic experience at Ultimate Bride! I went in probably 5 times before I decided on my dress (although the woman I worked with found it for me the first day I went). I told her my budget and the type of dress I wanted and she was so helpful! I was very indecisive at the beginning and so she had me try on different types of dresses (ballgown, lace, mermaid, etc.) so I could get a better idea of how they all looked on my body - Wherever you end up going I highly recommend doing this even if you are 100% sure of the dress you want. I ended up choosing a strapless dress when I never thought I would. I was worried about adjusting it all day but they make it fit you perfectly! You will go in for as many fittings as it takes to get it absolutely perfect. The seamstress I worked with was phenomenal. They also had their veil expert there and she ended up becoming the dresser for the day of (Debra Shirley - I highly recommend her as well for a dresser). Overall their prices are comparable for the city (it would be cheaper in the suburbs) but you are really paying for their expertise and reputation. When I was there for a fitting a bride called in and said there was a mark on her dress and it was the day before her wedding. They had someone leave within 2 minutes of the call to go there and take care of it! Luckily I did not have anything like that happen to me but it's really great to know they will go above and beyond to make sure the dress is perfect!

I had a great experience at the Ultimate Bride. Stephanie was my consultant. She was wonderful! She helped me find the dress of my dreams. The first dress she showed me was the one I picked. She is an asset to Ultimate Bride. Make your appointment with Stephanie! You will not be disappointed.
Even after I chose my dress, Ultimate Bride was very professional. They called me the moment my dress came in. Then they let me know to save on tax, I can ship my dress out of state. Fortunately, I was able to do so and saved a ton of money. It was truly worth it!
Once I brought my dress to be altered, Maria was in charge of the alterations. She was very professional and did a great job on altering my dress. I had a strapless dress, I never had to worry about anything coming out or shifting down. It fit perfectly. I was able to enjoy my day with no worries.
Overall, I had a great experience at the Ultimate Bride. Even after I purchased my dress, they still gave me great service until the day I took my dress home. Everyone I encountered there was wonderful to work with from the person who made my veil to the person who made the last adjustments to my wedding dress. I was very pleased with the Ultimate Bride experience.

Dress was amazing... I lost a lot of weight between ordering the dress and getting alterations (the dress fell off me) and the alterations were amazing... couldn't even tell they had to take it in so much.

I was a little hesitant at first to go to Ultimate Bride, thinking they would be a snotty, stuffy Oak Street salon. I couldn't have been more wrong. Stephanie was the greatest salesperson-sweet and personable, I looked forward to seeing her each time I went there. I ended up with a version of the 3rd dress I tried on. I got a custom made Monique Lhuillier gown and vail. There were some glitches with the 1st version of the dress, which had nothing to do with the bridal studio. They did everything to fix the problem and expediate the process. I found them to be so accommodating, and Maria is the most talented seamstress I have ever encountered. After 7 fittings, and many changes, I ended up with a spectacular one of a kind gown. It was breathtaking. Each time I arrived, I was treated with respect and made to feel like a queen. I would definitely recommend Ultimate Bride to anyone.

I LOVED my dress and working with the people are Ultimate Bride. Laura was amazing and never made me feel pressured. She listened to what I wanted and we found the perfect dress. I did end up spending more than I would have liked, but would not have changed anything about my dress.

High end retailer with pricy brand selections that starts from $3,500. However, sample sale is definitely great value with many dresses under $2,000, including past season samples from Monique Lhuillier, Rivini, Oscar de la Renta, etc. all gorgeous and one of a kind, in average sizes of 8-10. However, be prepared to drop a fortune at alteration.

Love the dress selection here! You feel absolutely wonderful throughout the process, they answer all questions and make you feel very comfortable with any concern. Prices are a bit high, but in my opinion, so worth the beauty of the dress you choose. Maria did my alterations and I absolutely loved her. Ultimate Bride takes great care of you.

We are so pleased with our experience at Ultimate Bride! The dress selections are exquisite. Kate worked with both my daughter for her bridal gown and for my "mother of the bride" gown. Kate was very attentive and helpful. The alterations staff altered my daughter's gown and her gown fit her with perfection. Thank you Kate and to the lovely ladies in the alterations department.

Everyone i worked with at Ultimate bride was amazing. they have some beautiful dresses and work with you to find one that's just perfect. They were easy to work with throughout the alteration process as well. I was initially supposed to have 3 fittings but ended up having 4 (the last one just two days before my wedding!) and the dress turned out amazingly. The quality of the alterations was great and made the dress fit perfectly. They also were very accommodating with regards to my sister's hissyfit about her bridesmaid dress alterations (that wasn't bought / altered at Ultimate Bride) and two days before my wedding were able to fix the botched alterations that were done to it.

One tip - they capped my alterations which definitely saved a lot of money in the end!

My initial experience with the receptionist at Ultimate Bride was negative. She projected as arrogant and looked at me as if I couldn't afford to purchase a dress from their shop (obviously not true). I decided to schedule an appointment any way and from then on the quality of service was excellent. The selection of dresses is amazing and the prices are "dear" but fair. The tailoring service makes the price worth while as what I learned was the tailoring makes the dress in so many ways. They did a superb job and were tenacious in trying to make the dress fit beautifully. The store went an extra mile by cleaning and re-steaming the dress between the Friday wedding and Saturday reception. This was extraordinary and they did it without charge.

I got my dress at ultimate bride and also did my alterations there. The dress was perfection after their alterations and they did it so quickly! They are very professional and have a great selection. The only downfall is that they do rush through the appointments with you so you sometimes need to make multiple appointments but it's worth it :)

Possibly the best alterations in Chicago. My dress was gorgeous and fit like a dream. I went to try on dresses with my mom, and the sales lady was a little sappy for my taste, but my mom liked it so it was fine. Overall, just loved my dress, it fit perfectly, and even though it was ridiculously expensive (as were the alterations) I couldn't be happier with it. You get what you pay for here.

They were helpful picking my dress, more importantly they altered my dress so precisely and it fit me PERFECT... I found it in the end that my dress was very hard to fix as the material is so thin and fitting, that they must fix all the details and made it happen! so impressed. And fun to work with!

I shopped and shopped for my perfect dress. I was in the suburbs, downtown, and all over. Finally i stopped at the ultimate bride, and though a smaller shop, I found 2 dresses I loved. it was a very hard decision for me. My sales girl was faboulous, one dress higher than i budgeted, the other more in my budget, but still over.
I probably tried the dresses on 5 times each, and then left without making a decision. I slept on it a few nights, then went back with my mil and mom. The place was very nice, and I absolutely loved my dress. I actually chose the one more within my budget, not for price but because it was so me.
Overall a good place to go, service was very good, and selection was good also.

My consultant was really great in helping me pick the right dress. However, after she retired, someone else was assigned to fulfill my order. Very responsive in requesting my payment information but afterwards, he just did not reply my emails. I really feel upset about this kind of attitude. Even when I expressed my concern of the delivery, no one replied my email. Finally I have to contact FedEx myself to find out the place the dress was delivered to. Also, no one followed up regarding alternation at all. I'd rather pick another store for alternation. I guess my experience with the style consultant was too good, which made my expectations high. But after six months everything has changed! If I know they would treat me like this, I wouldn't have recommended this store to any of my friends. Never! Every star is for Laura only.

I think my overall experience with Ultimate Bride can be summed up by saying it was just ok. I had gone to a few other bridal salons before Ultimate Bride and the whole experience was way less enjoyable than the others.

I didn't feel like she really took time to get to know what I was looking for and just started pulling dresses that I was not into. I felt like I was being rushed the whole time and that they didn't really have the personable attention that other stores do. The store itself also feels a little dark and outdated. The dressing room was a little dirty and had left over pins and tags laying around.

Overall I would not recommend this store to a friend...

Go to Ultimate Bride For the ultimate panic attack

I was married in October 2021 and bought my dress from Ultimate bride in August 2020. I picked a gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown from their ML trunk show and they even gifted me a $700 veil. I felt so special and couldn’t believe my luck, but little did I know that my great experience was about to come to an abrupt halt as I transitioned from sales to alterations.

I lost 15 lbs in the year between when I bought the dress to my first alterations appointment so there was a fair amount to be taken in during that first appointment. To my horror and shock, when I came in for the second fitting two weeks later, they had taken the dress in too much somehow, so everything was now a smidgen too tight and my boobs were now falling out of the dress, so the neckline needed to be reconstructed with extra fabric and it was all a mess from there. For my third appointment, they saw us an HOUR late with no explanation and still lots of issues: neckline was off center, fabric puffed around the bust area, arms were now not right, the skirt wasn’t lying right, etc. For my fourth appointment, they canceled 1.5 hours beforehand saying the dress wasn’t ready and that’s when I had to loop in a manager, Diane.

While Diane was very apologetic and said all the right things, nothing was amended. I couldn't have been more clear that I really didn’t want to be worrying about my dress the week of the wedding but that is exactly what happened. They denied our request to bring in a more senior seamstress. So, while Diane sat in on our alternation appointments moving forward, making sure the seamstress was actually taking notes and not forgetting what was discussed, the dress was still very wrong three days before our wedding with all the same issues. I should also note things they told me weren’t possible to do at one appointment, they were somehow able to do at the next. It was SO frustrating. It was then, three days before the wedding, they called in the most senior seamstress to work on the gown while I was still in it (my suggestion even though I have no sewing experience) before she proclaimed she had to re-do the whole lining and boning. So, two days before my wedding, as opposed to visiting with guests coming into town or getting giddy for the celebrations, I sat in Ultimate bride for 3.5 hours in a plastic lucite chair and dressing robe to see if their head seamstress could fix the dress. Finally, the dress was perfect... or so I thought. It put such a damper on the whole planning process truly because by the time the dress actually fit properly, there was no excitement left. Mind you, there was no talk of reimbursement or doing anything nice for us as a result of this horrible process. Once they offered us coffee.

As it turns out, on the actual day, the moment I sat down, the plastic boning they placed in the bodice curved outward in the stomach (literally mortifying) as opposed to staying straight and supportive. Another piece of boning on the side cut me so at least I’m lucky I didn’t bleed through the dress I guess.

It honestly makes me sick that my family spent more than $10,000 on a dress and it was still not perfect. Literally sick. I’m not exactly sure how much I would’ve had to spend for them to treat me like a priority, but it was a horrendous time. Literally do not come here. They have the designer dresses in stock but clearly not enough talent to alter them correctly. Biggest regret of the wedding, hands down, was shopping here. I could’ve gotten that dress at any other upscale bridal boutique.

This store is only about the first impression. The first time we went to Ultimate Bride it was great. The service was great, and the dresses were beautiful. However, once I began going there for the fittings, my opinion quickly changed. They no longer cared about me and the personal touch was gone. The seamstress was great, but after the wedding, we received a bill for several hundred dollars for items that only take minutes to do. The service is phony, the dresses more expensive than at other stores, and the atmosphere stiff. I would not recommend this salon.

Don't trust them

They are unprofessional and will most likely ruin your wedding. They lied about alteration cost and that pushed me over budget so now cannot wear my dress. They did not care they lied and the manager just smerked at me and twisted her face as the owner Kon said he wouldn't let me return the gown so I could get one I could afford.

Yikes, definitely wouldn't recommend this be a stop for your wedding gown. I came here about a month ago with a certain designer in mind, but also was open to trying things in a very specific style. I did have a budget, but mentioned if I absolutely loved something, I would spend more. I worked with Amanda. It's interesting how little of a selection the store has? I wanted form fitted and a good amount of beading. I told her I really liked crepe, but wasn't limiting my choices to only that material. Not one of the dresses brought for me to try on had close to a generous amount of beading on them. I'm not totally sure Amanda really understood what I was looking for, because she kept bringing me a few dresses at a time that were not anything close to what I had asked for.

No one in the store was overly friendly and the whole appointment was kind of awkward. I liked Berta and was interested in a gown they were expected to get in their Spring 18 line. Amanda said she would get back to me asap about pricing and information on that gown since I didn't really find anything I loved at the store. It's been over 1 month and no email, no call. I don't think the associates care or are even remotely interested in any of the brides that walk in. They don't listen to them, they don't give input on what might look best. They just make the whole experience super awkward as if they don't really want you trying on the gowns unless you know you are going to purchase it. It was all kind of a big joke. If you want a real salon with amazing designers, amazing associates.. go to Mira Couture down the street! I found both of my gowns there!
