Best wedding band ever!
Typically Booked by far exceeded all of our expectations and more. Joe was absolutely phenomenal and amazing to work with. He took all of our visions & went above and beyond to bring them to life. They are amazing at reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor electric, even during their set breaks. Having them as our wedding band was by far the best decision we made, they truly know how to have a great time and creating an unforgettable experience -

The best band! Blew the house down like it was a concert!!
The best band! Before booking them I looked up a lot of bands on the wedding wire as well as from the Knot. I did a lot of research by watching all these bands live. Watching Typically Booked live at Felix about a year and a half before our wedding date blew me away and I knew they were the wedding band for us. They are a talented bunch. The vocals of Sam and Cassidy, and Joe on the sax and keyboard blew me away. Joe met with us through zoom several times and together we put on a great song list as well as our requested songs. On the wedding night they blew the house down and sang all of our songs we requested. They really made our night and made our reception fun. The dance floor was full the whole night. They are not your typical wedding band that was just thrown together, they will not play cringy wedding music unless that’s what you request. If you want to have a good time. Have the dance floor full and dance like you are in concert for your wedding reception. You book Typically Booked!! -

When we decided to hire a band, we reached out to several local options. Typically booked not only had everything we were looking for, it was also an absolute pleasure to work with Joe and his crew. From setup through to the wedding everything was extremely well done and professional. One thing in common whenever we talk to any of our guests from the wedding is how fantastic the band was, they played excellent music and were extremely engaging with the crowd. When you plan a wedding you don't realize how big of an impact the band will have on your reception. I have to say that these guys helped to make this special occasion for us an absolutely incredible memory for us and our guests! Whatever event you are having do yourself a favor and hire typically booked! -

We did our homework in our online selection and narrowed it down to a select few bands, Talking to Joe, watching their videos several times, we got the best vibes by far and selected Typically Booked. They were absolutely amazing and 5 months later when we talk about our wedding, guests still bring up how great the band was! Thank you Joe for your talents and leadership and for such wonderful band members! You all made our wedding that much more special!

Typically Booked came highly recommended from a friend, and although we had never heard them live before, (because you know, middle of covid and there were no concerts) we felt confident when booking them for our wedding on November 6, 2021. AND ARE WE HAPPY WE DID. Our wedding was absolutely magical and it would not have been had we not had our awesome band! We have gotten so many compliments about how great our band was. Typically Booked came to PARTY. Their set list was great and there was not a second that people were not dancing. Maybe I'm a little bit bias, but our wedding was definitely the best wedding we have ever been to and Typically Booked help make that happen. 10/10 recommend!! Don't hesitate to book them!! -

March 2020 Wedding
Booking Typically Booked was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were referred by a friend of a friend and reached out to them. Discussions with the band (through Joe) were easy and positive. Responses were prompt and thorough, and the cost was very reasonable.
We caught them for a live show one night out at the Lakefront and introduced ourselves. Their friendly and energetic personality was evident from the start, and the musical talent was on full display with a diverse range of songs/genres making us feel even more assured in our decision.
For the wedding night, they were a huge hit! The dance floor was constantly full, and their renditions of our requested songs were spot-on. The energy they brought lasted throughout the night with guests young and old joining in on the fun. One couple in attendance was so impressed that they decided to book them for their own wedding.
Typically Booked was a great choice for us, and I look forward to seeing them at weddings for years to come.

I met Joe of Typically Booked at a bridal show in New Orleans in January of 2019. I entered a contest then and kept in touch with the band throughout my wedding planning. A few months into planning, I found out that I would be receiving the grand prize from the contest. I was so excited! As much as I wanted a live band, I never in my dreams thought I would be able to afford one- especially in New Orleans. Typically Booked is extremely affordable (even without the prize I won), accommodating, and worth every single penny! They take the time to connect with and accommodate you. They’re extremely responsive, professional and experienced. I couldn’t have asked for a better band. They learned songs for me after I told them my interests and surprised me by singing a song that I danced to with my uncle (Humble and Kind).
I even received videos from them post- wedding. Months later I have received continued comments about the band (and the food!!) from our wedding night. Everyone loved the vibe and the energy. We couldn’t have asked for a better band. Thanks Typically Booked! My only wish is that we could do it all over again.
