I had the pleasure of DJing a wedding that Veronica coordinated a few weeks ago, and I have nothing but amazing things to say! The couple made many last-second changes the week of the wedding that they did not inform me of. Veronica kept me in the loop, ensuring the timeline flowed perfectly and that all the vendors worked great together!
I look forward to working with her again in the future and highly recommend her! -

From our first meeting to the last dance, Veronica demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Her organizational skills, creative ideas, and ability to handle any unexpected challenges were truly impressive.
From the moment she stepped in, Veronica not only demonstrated exceptional expertise in wedding planning but also showcased incredible interpersonal skills. Her ability to manage a multitude of opinionated stakeholders was truly impressive. Veronica navigated differing preferences with grace and diplomacy, turning what could have been stressful moments into opportunities for collaboration. The result was a wedding that not only reflected our vision but also incorporated the diverse wishes of our families.
The meticulous attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the planning process. Veronica and her team flawlessly coordinated all the moving parts on the day of the wedding - which included bringing everything indoors at the last minute due to California's first ever hurricane! Veronica and her team are absolutely incredible, and I would give them 10/5 stars if I possibly could!! Veronica helped to create my dream wedding, and there is genuinely nothing I would have changed. She made the entire process as stress free as possible, and included me, my fiancé, and both of our families in the process.
Not only is Veronica on top of everything and regularly sending reminders, she was also so kind and personable and made a lot of wedding planning just feel like hanging out with a friend who wanted to make your vision come alive! Our venue had strict rules about things we could bring in (i.e. tablecloths, glassware, etc.), but Veronica fought for those small special details that made our day that much more special. I had a lot of lofty ideas and visions for I how wanted my day to look and Veronica surpassed what I thought was possible!!
On the day of the wedding, everything flowed so smoothly, and her team made me and my fiancé feel so calm and so taken care of all day. If there were any issues on the day of, I was unaware because she completely handled everything! She was the architect behind the best day of my life and I am BEYOND grateful!!! -

Veronica and her professional team took care of so many of the little details that would have slipped through the cracks. My partner and I planned our wedding from another state and Veronica alleviated many of our concerns (e.g. shipping stuff to her directly, so we don't have to lug it down to San Diego). Type A Soiree Events polished our event by handling all of the communication with our other wedding vendors leading up to the big day. Additionally, planning a wedding during a COVID surge is stressful enough, and Veronica was able to make last-minute runs to FedEx for new signages and a seating chart to account for all last-minute cancelations due to COVID. Being a Type A bride and groom who were very involved in the details, we appreciated that Veronica was able to bring her A game and embodied the type A personality. Veronica accommodated our asks for sustainability, minimal waste, and she even went as far as personally driving our centerpiece flowers to a nursing home to be donated after our soiree. We really appreciated her years of professional experience, and we leaned heavily on her expertise. She. IS. AMAZING.

Oni is the best !
Oni was my husband’s and I “month of” coordinator and she was amazing!
She always made sure that we always felt at ease and went above & beyond to accommodate us in anything during the day of our wedding.

Veronica and the Type A Soiree team were fabulous, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to throw a beautiful and well-orchestrated event. Veronica went above and beyond on the day of the event solving problems left and right. We misplaced all our table signs and Veronica and the team took it upon themselves to print new ones. I couldn't have asked for a better and well-prepared wedding planner! -

Our experience was seriously outstanding. The whole time I had to convince my now husband that we needed a coordinator because he thought it was not "needed"! Boy did I get so many apologies. At the rehearsal and entire wedding day he proceeded to tell me how wrong he was because Type A Soriée continued to go above and beyond in making our day so amazing. They made sure every detail was perfectly executed and were always there to offer emotional support as well to myself and husband when things just got a little over whelming! Absolute professionals and best decision you can make to ensure your amazing day fulfills your wildest dreams! -

Literally the best experience EVER!
Veronica was our night and shining armor! She was so helpful throughout out chaos of planning our wedding. Her experience totally shows. She is on top of everything and beyond organized. We were blown away by how helpful she was, how above and beyond she went for us. She started that Saturday at 9am and didn’t leave until probably after 10pm! She is A+ and we can’t recommend her enough! -

Veronica is hands down the most amazing, professional, efficient, and meticulous planner. Better yet, she is so personable and fun to be around. We feel extremely lucky to have found Veronica who made our wedding so perfect.
Our wedding was not easy to plan as we wanted both a beach wedding and a classy downtown wedding. So we did a beach ceremony and reception at US Grant with buses for our guests. Veronica executed the transition seamlessly. We did not have to worry about anything because the moment we think about something, it's already taken care of. She also kept us on track throughout the planning process and also gave helpful opinion and suggestions.
Additionally, Veronica is a well-established planner who has personal connections with a great list of top quality vendors who will help with one's vision for his/her dream wedding. And it will become a reality! :)
We cannot be thankful enough for Veronica. We would like for all the couples to have the greatest experience that we both had! -

Veronica is absolutely the BEST! She not only planned our wedding, but also 2 other events here at my home. Each event was so different and amazing. Our wedding was so beautiful, from the florals, table décor and the menu. Her selections for vendors were outstanding! Everything was stunning and every guest that attended were blown away with so much creativity and elegance. Her staff is 100% dedicated to creating unique and personal events. I appreciate her so much for planning and executing a very difficult task she was given. She is patient and such a lovely person to work with. I am so happy that I chose Type A Soiree's full wedding planning services package because Veronica made my wedding perfect! I was so impressed with her ability to listen to my vision and recommend vendors that aligned with my taste. I was looking for a planner who could do the vendor coordination and negotiate contracts. Veronica was a tough negotiator, getting me the best deals without sacrificing quality. Veronica was also very responsive via email throughout the year, and she setup day trips with me to look at rentals, provide feedback on the menu and help design our cake and groom's cake. Not only was her assistance fun, but she helped articulate my likes and dislikes to vendors and helped me make some tough decisions. The day of my wedding was stress free because of Veronica and her team's flawless execution, and she is such a talented decorator. I would definitely recommend Veronica and her team. -

Working with Veronica and her team is always a great experience. Veronica is absolutely meant to be a planner and it shows! Her assistants are always knowledgeable and informed, which is great for vendors when Veronica is occupied during events. Discerning couples will receive nothing but an amazing experience when they bring her company on board. Veronica was the first and only planner that we met with. We loved her direct and honest communication. We hired her for partial coordination, but she was there for us throughout the whole year answering my questions and making sure we were on track. Throughout the way we had meetings where she made us feel more like friends rather than clients. Her expertise and knowledge of vendors and the industry were a huge asset to us. Her recommendations always accompanied our style and wedding vibe. When it came to the day of, she took care of things I didn’t even know needed taking care of. She was always one step ahead and kept us on track with time and agenda. The only thing she couldn’t do was make the wedding day last longer than 24 hours! It was magical and the day went so smoothly because of her and her team. Even her husband helped out when I asked her to set up my multiple stacks of marble!
