I recently had my wedding at Twisty Maple and it was absolutely perfect. The house itself is wonderful with an amazing view of the ceremony site and the mountains from the living room. The bridal getting ready suite is also huge and perfect for the bride, bridesmaids, MOG/MOB, and a hair and makeup team. The ceremony site is gorgeous. The reception tent is also perfect, with a built in bar building (with bathrooms too) right next to it so guests can still be dancing while waiting for their drinks. We had a live band, and we were a little worried about space, but it turned out to be not a problem at all. If you are considering Twisty Maple but want a live band, it will work! We had a 6-piece band and the stage fit no problem. We also had 90 guests, and everyone fit well. Jessie and her team were also so helpful leading up to the wedding and on the day of. We highly recommend Twisty Maple! -

The Perfect Spot
I cannot say enough about Twisty Maple--it was so wonderful. Jessie was amazingly responsive and enthusiastic in the entire preparation process, and she and her staff made the day of very smooth! Anna, the day-of coordinator who came as a package deal, was also wonderful, and the fact that it was a package deal was perfect because it meant that Jessie and Anna had everything running smoothly! The view was fantastic, the house was delightful and comfortable, and the flagstone patio was perfect for eating and dancing. The bar area was adorable and the bathrooms were comfortable, the kitchen seemed to work great for the caterers, the fire pit and lawn were excellent for cousins to play lawn games on and hang out around in down time, and the whole thing was just spectacular. -

Enchanting Wedding at Twisty Maple: A Day Made Perfect by Jessie and Nature's Splendor
Our wedding at Twisty Maple was nothing short of magical. From the moment we chose this venue, we knew we had made the right decision, but the reality far exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and meticulously kept spaces that provided the perfect setting for our ceremony and reception.
What truly set our experience apart, however, was the incredible support we received from Jessie. Jessie went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, showing remarkable attention to detail and a genuine care for our needs. This even included navigating the enthusiastic input from our moms and their floral visions with grace and patience. From coordinating with vendors to arranging the layout and adding those special touches we hadn't thought of, Jessie anticipated our every need.
Their dedication and expertise allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our special day. Jessie's efforts made our wedding not just a celebration, but a seamless and unforgettable experience for us and all our guests.
Choosing Twisty Maple was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. We are forever grateful to Jessie and the entire staff for making our day truly extraordinary. We initially set out to tour 6 venues within the general Asheville area for a big wedding, including Twisty Maple. We ultimately decided to elope—just the two of us and a handful of amazing vendors. Twisty Maple's elopement package during a weekday was super-affordable, but still allowed us to incorporate important traditions while having the beautiful mountains during fall be our backdrop. Jessie helped us every step of the way and we could not be more grateful for her involvement. She really took the pressure off us and helped create such a magical day. We would 100% recommend this for an intimate event space. -

The perfect venue!
The twisty maple was the absolute perfect venue for our special day. The space was absolutely breathtaking with dreamy mountain views for the ceremony space. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about what a perfect day it was and so many people said it was the best/most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. They had everything we wanted and Jessie was so amazingly helpful. We loved that we were able to host guests at the venue since we had a lot of friends flying in from out of state. Jessie and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and were prepared for any emergencies or unexpected events. I am still in awe of how sweet the day was. I’d recommend twisty maple to anyone, seriously worth every penny. -

If you're planning to have a small, intimate wedding, this venue is the perfect place for it. We had around 40 guests and all of them had nothing but good things to say about the venue. The mountains in the background, the trees on the sides, the firepit, and even the lights that lead you up the path were all beautiful. Not only was the venue pretty, but the staff was also incredible. Jessie was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. Annette made sure that everything was ready and comfortable for our stay. She even included a little welcome gift upon our arrival. Our day-of coordinator, Michelle, was a calming presence, she was organized and helped the day run smoothly. I can't say enough good things about Twisty Maple. They made our special day a fairytale. -

Perfect destination wedding!
I can’t say enough about how truly wonderful this venue is! We had a destination wedding, and after touring this venue, I knew right away it was the one! Our guests were breathless after seeing the beautiful Mountain View. The home on the property was decorated beautifully and the perfect spot for me and my girls to get ready the morning of. The ceremony set up was truly perfect. As you walked down the aisle, you were greeted with the most beautiful mountain view, and the iconic twisty maple arbor. The reception was blissful. We spent all night dancing under the stars and enjoying all the lovely accommodations like the cute bar and the fire pit on site. It was a memorable experience not only for our guests but also for my husband and I. It was seriously a dream come true, and I would recommend it time and time again! -

We had the most beautiful wedding at Twisty Maple last weekend! We had just over 50 guests and it was exactly the vibe we wanted- beautiful but also relaxed and comfortable! Jessie is an angel who made everything easier and it was nice to know we had a plan in case of rain with the pretty clear top tent! I’m trying to convince my new husband to come back there with me for anniversaries because it is just such a special place. -

We only had our ceremony at Twisty Maple, but it was a dream to get married there! Our ceremony was only about 50 people, and the space was great for that. The way the ceremony location is set up over the mountains is so beautiful! We took pictures in many places on the grounds too. Jessie was so delightful to work with. She was SO prompt with emails and answering any questions I had during our wedding planning. She also had plenty of decor stocked for you to use. I would highly recommend Twisty Maple for our wedding, you won’t be disappointed!

Twisty Maple Fit Us to Perfection
Twisty Maple is a wonderful place and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The location is perfect for a small outdoor wedding like ours was (35ppl), but would seem to be able to manage 3x that number. The property itself is beautiful and can be set up so there is a great view of the mountains during the ceremony. The tent is spacious, and the new pavers work well. There is a meadow on the property where guests can park and have a very short walk to the house/tent. We did not have a band or DJ, but would think there is easily space to accommodate those if you want. The outdoor house has a storage area, two nice bathrooms and a great set up for whatever your bar needs are. We also had access to decorations and outdoor games that we used during the rehearsal dinner, the wedding dinner and the breakfast the day after. The house has a lot of room to get ready for events, to help the caterer stage the meals or just to hang out before and after. Would highly recommend staying on the property a few days prior to or even after the wedding – it is a peaceful place and perfect for entertaining guests. Finally, Jessie and her staff were focused on things going well, hard working, responsive and very nice – we really had very little to do other than enjoy the time. Twisty Maple is simply an all-round great venue. -

We visited ten (!) venues in the Asheville area, and Twisty Maple was the very last, and clearly the winner. We had lots of boxes to tick, and Twisty Maple ticked them all, including the amazing view, which we wanted to share with our out-of-town guests. Jessie's professionalism and great attitude made the experience even better.
We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all at the venue, and our guests raved about what a perfect spot it was. Again, Jessie was there for the whole thing, helping to make sure everything ran smoothly.
Included in our vendor fee was a wedding planner for the last month and the day of. I didn't think I needed a wedding planner, but now that I've gone through it, I can't imagine doing it without Michelle from Occasions by Emily (see my review for her as well).
In short, here's what we loved about it:
1. The amazing view with a spot for the ceremony right in front of it!
2. Included tent so we wouldn't have to worry about the weather
3. A separate outbuilding for the well-equipped bar, a little storage space, and two restrooms
4. A lovely secluded fire pit (we were sad we didn't have time to hang out there and enjoy it)
5. Lots of decor available for no additional charge
6. A four-bedroom house with full kitchen (great for the caterer) and luxurious master suite that served as the bridal dressing room
7. A beautiful approach for our guests as they drive in (not as easy to come by as you'd think)
8. Plenty of parking that's right at the venue but obscured so cars weren't a part of the beautiful view
9. Beautiful trees everywhere
10. Wedding planner included
11. Everything was so close together, so there were no long walks required (which we saw at other venues)
12. Probably something else I'm not thinking of right now ;-)
You can't go wrong! -

The Twisty Maple is a next level wedding venue. Not only do you feel extremely cared for while staying in the house all weekend, but their attention to detail, and above and beyond performance during your wedding from set up to tear down is inspiring. Most venues just worry about their own location, but Jessie, Annette, and her team do everything top to bottom. Not to mention, the views are breathtaking, the amenities are unmatched, compared to other places that we looked for the wedding. Have your wedding weekend experience here! -

Jessie was an absolute joy to work with! She was very flexible with our plans and helped us navigate the process with professionalism and expertise. Prices, deadlines, and timing was communicated efficiently and punctually, and she was always quick to respond to our queries. The venue itself was beautiful, and could easily accommodate a much larger wedding than ours (~23 people). Communication with other vendors was also handled well, and in many cases behind the scenes, so we didn't have to worry about it. We would highly recommend Twisty Maple! -

Amazing property
What a fantastic venue! From the day we walked the property to the the end of our weekend there wasn’t one thing that wasn’t perfect! The accommodations were outstanding! Out of all of our amazing vendors we had on our wedding day, our highest praise and thanks goes to Jessie from Twisty Maple. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and a dreamy spot for a wedding. We fell in love with it immediately and knew it was where we wanted to spend the most important day of our lives. Jessie, the coordinator though, is next level amazing! She made our planning process so fun and easy, and she handled everything- I mean EVERYTHING, for the wedding rehearsal and wedding day! We cannot say enough that she was the superstar of our wedding and we are so thankful for her. Twisty Maple is a 1000/10 recommendation from me! -

Perfect spot and venue!
We had our small wedding at Twisty Maple on 10/24/2020. The leaves were perfect and the venue provided us with a great backdrop for our ceremony. Would 100% recommend Twisty maple, especially for those looking for an accessible spot for family members for a ceremony, versus a traditional overlook or ceremony spot requiring a hike. You drive up to the house and are greeted with a back yard area that is perfect for a ceremony. Thank you Twisty Maple for allowing us to have such a special day of our lives at this location! -

Wonderful Getaway for Intimate Wedding
Annette and Jessie with Twisty Maple were an absolute dream to work with. We held our wedding ceremony and reception this past March at Twisty Maple before all the COVID-19 issues took over. Annette was our main point of contact and when we booked last Summer/Fall, she was great about touching base with us seeing what we needed, letting us know what had been done at the venue and what they were willing to experiment with since they are a newer venue and this was considered a destination wedding for us (We live in Wilmington). My husband and I stayed at the house along with our bridal party and family through the weekend. They all loved it! There were plenty of beds and amenities for us to comfortably stay - we wished we could have stayed longer. Twisty Maple is the perfect venue for a wedding if you want it to feel as if you're hosting at your own home. It's great for a small group of 25 or double. If you're considering a wedding in the mountains, don't sleep on this warm house with spectacular views! -

Twisty Maple was the ideal Bridal Family HQ for our daughter's October wedding weekend. Annette and Jessica made certain that all 13 adults in our group were welcomed warmly. Having comfortable outdoor furniture, the fire pit, lawn games, cozy beds and a kitchen able to accommodate our needs enabled us to celebrate well with family and friends. The huge naturally lit and multi-mirrored master bathroom was the ideal spot for our daughter and her attendants as they dressed on the wedding day.
Plenty of parking and the spacious lawn provided the perfect setting for our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner under the stars. Annette and Jessica attentively assisted the caterer (Papas and Beer) and Classic Event Rentals (for tables, chairs, etc) as the groom's family hosted a delicious dinner that reflected their southern California traditions.
The indoor layout of the house works well for guests with varying sleep schedules - the common areas are away from the bedrooms and have multiple doors to the outside. The huge living room windows provide a magnificent view all day long, no matter the weather. No complaints about the beds - all 13 of us slept comfortably.
Twisty Maple's location suited us perfectly. It was two miles from our wedding venue, 10 miles from Sierra Nevada Brewery where we gathered on Friday night, 12 miles to downtown Asheville, 10 miles to Biltmore Estate and eight miles to the Asheville Airport. Most of our 174 wedding guests who traveled to Asheville stayed in VRBO's within about 5 miles of Twisty Maple - lots of rentals to choose from!
Twisty Maple is perfect for a family reunion, a mountain vacation, wedding family HQ, a rehearsal dinner or a wedding. Its scenic backdrop beckons professional and hobbyist photographers! I hope to return to see the enhancements over time that result from Annette's and Jessica's creativity. It's difficult to imagine Twisty Maple being much better than it already is!

Justin and I couldn’t have dreamed up a better wedding venue! The view was stunning, the house was beautiful, and there were many extra details that we didn’t even expect (e.g., decorations and signs available to us). Annette and Jessie were so helpful throughout the whole process and always kind and welcoming. They worked very hard to ensure our weekend went smoothly and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We will definitely be back for a Twisty Maple reunion and recommend the venue to anyone. Thanks again! -

Choosing Twisty Maple as our venue was the best decision! Our day was perfect and so much of it was because of their wonderful staff. They helped hold everything together and if there were any hiccups throughout the day I didn't know about them because Jessie and Michelle were on top of everything. We ended the day on cloud nine. It is the most beautiful property and our friends are still raving about how everything was an absolute dream. I can't recommend them enough!
