We had the best food and service at our wedding thanks to Twelve Baskets! We looked at multiple caterers for our wedding, but what ultimately won us over was the great interactions we had at our tasting getting to meet the chef and coordinators. We knew we had a great team supporting us, and the food was in a different galaxy compared to the standard wedding fare. Working with Vita and Brett was great, and we didn't make it easy on them with many changes to our guest count, menu, dietary restrictions and more. I would work with Brett Hannan any day, Twelve Baskets Catering as a company probably not..
We chose Twelve Baskets Catering because of our sales gal: Brett Hannan. She was incredible from the very beginning and always went to bat for us. She was up for the challenge to cater our Black-tie wedding. We had a really great experience with the planning as Brett was extremely communicative, detailed, and organized. We had a fabulous experience at our menu tasting and the food was delicious. When we had input on the food during the tasting the chef was in the room to offer suggestions and welcome the feedback. They coordinated everything wonderfully and their staff was efficient and professional. They provided fantastic service for cocktail hour with tray-passed appetizers & a plated dinner service. The menu options had a great range to offer and the food was warm and delicious when it came time to eat. However, I would take caution when recommending Twelve Baskets to a family or friend for their wedding and this is why: we planned two signature cocktails and an open bar around a specific spirit and were promised they would bring enough but they did not. They ran out of alcohol within the first two hours of the event, and then after going to get more ran out AGAIN! This was super frustrating but oh well, it happens. We didn't want to let anything ruin our day. The real frustration came after the day when they sent the final bill and we saw they charged us for the fact that they ran out during our event after promising they would not. The manager/owner was unwilling to remove the fees even after Brett spoke up for us. That really negatively colored our experience with Twelve Baskets. There are so many vendors in the wedding industry that don't put their customers first, I didn't know this was one of those vendors until the very end. They didn't prepare enough and forced us to pay for it.. However, Brett Hannan, I would hire again and again in a heart beat. She is a rockstar and very genuine. & those chefs know what they are doing too! -

We were so happy with our choice to hire Twelve baskets. The food was incredible, the staff was amazing. Overall they made our reception what it was. Working with them throughout the whole planning process was also flawless and easy. Would definitely hire them all over again! -

Twelve Baskets catered our wedding in July of 2023 and we could not be happier that we decided to hire them!
We got married at Craven Farm in Snohomish, and Twelve Baskets is one of their exclusive caterers. After a couple of tastings and meetings, it was clear to us that we wanted to work with the Twelve Baskets team. We left our tasting feeling so excited about the menu for our wedding!
We worked with Brett and were so happy with how professional, friendly, and flexible she and her team were throughout the planning process. We arranged a kids menu, were able to accommodate multiple food allergies and restrictions, and purchased our own alcohol for their bartenders to serve. All of these things were INCREDIBLY helpful touches for us!
The team was on time, professional, and so friendly the day of our wedding. Each one of the catering staff congratulated myself and my husband, which we really appreciated. The team brought drinks to our bridal party before the ceremony, and put together a cheese plate for my husband and I to enjoy immediately after the ceremony. We never had to ask for anything, they seemed to have it ready before it even crossed our minds!
The food was delicious and the setup was absolutely gorgeous. We are so thankful for how accommodating and flexible the Twelve Baskets team was, and would recommend them to any couple looking for a professional and friendly caterer to be part of their wedding day. -

Twelve Baskets is the best! They were very accommodating and sky was literally the limit... for catering! They were very organized with back and forth e-mails during the planning stage to the day of our wedding with setting up and breaking down. Vita, who helped us plan the whole thing was great! She was quick to respond, had all the answers and took into account our vision for our wedding day. My husband and I definitely recommend Twelve Baskets for your catering needs. We couldn't have had the perfect day without them! -

2 daughters, 2 weddings and 2 completely different styles. Twelve Baskets catered both and exceeded our expectations each time. From the planner to the catering and bar staff - all were professional, and delightful to interact with. The cocktail hour and main meals were memorable and delishously prepared. We also appreciated that Twelve Baskets is known by all of the vendors we used which made planning and execution so easy. No questions were ever left unanswered and we couldn't have been happier. -

Twelve Baskets... amazing!
The team was thoughtful, helpful, and kind from start to finish. Bless Vita for the number of emails she patiently responded to from me, she addressed every question, concern, or idea I had with compassion and grace. She was two steps ahead of me and asked me questions I never would have thought to ask, this is know I KNEW I was in good hands!
On the day of our wedding, the food was so yummy (especially the herb-crusted pork tenderloin), set up was beautiful, and everything went off without a hitch!
12 out of 10, would DEFINTELY recommend! -

Twelve Baskets Catering completely went above and beyond!! We were sooo pleased with their service and food! All of our guests continued to say how great it was even weeks after! I have a lot of dietary issues and so did a few of my guests, and they literally made it so easy because everything we wanted- they made it so us dietary peeps could eat! Amazing! Highly recommend and will definitely use them for a future event! -

Wedding Caterer
Twelve Baskets provided our food for our wedding in June. We reached out to a lot of caterers, and they stood out – their price was reasonable and they were very openminded about the menu. We told them we were vegetarian and while the wedding would have some meat, we didn’t want it to be central. We also were hoping for some Vietnamese inspired dishes. We had trouble with both these requests at every other caterer, but Twelve Baskets designed a custom menu for us and everything (noodles, rice, spring rolls, etc) was super delicious (especially the passed tray appetizers)! The service and décor was great and we got lots of compliments from the guests – overall an amazing experience. -

We had a relatively short engagement and were lucky to get Twelve Baskets as our caterer. They were super easy to work with from start to finish. When we learned that our venue didn't allow alcohol and they automatically updated their proposal to include non-alcoholic beverages instead. They also included some nice decor options which was helpful for me as we were trying to keep things simple and I didn't really have any decorations planned. The only recommendation I would have is to ask about a tasting early because we left that too late, but regardless the menu was fantastic and we received so many compliments from guests. The staff were also really great and so attentive on the day of the wedding. -

The entire team at Twelve Baskets were incredibly wonderful the entire process! From the beginning, they helped us pick a menu that catered to our guest, dietary restrictions and fulfilled our needs exactly. Throughout the process, as guest counts changed and needs changed, they were incredibly accommodating to help us navigate that and update our contract. The day of the wedding, the set up was seamless and the food was so delicious! The presentation on the buffets was beautiful and the bartenders were awesome! I cannot recommend Twelve Baskets Catering enough! They were so great to work with. We worked with Vita P. a Wedding and Events Specialist and she was so friendly, outgoing, and helpful! The food was not only beautiful but oh so tasty! We received so many compliments regarding the catering. They took such great care of our guests and us as groom and bride. We also hired them to bartend and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend! Thank you Twelve Baskets!
P.S. They also helped us cater my bridal shower and it was also such a success! -

Food was one of the most important things to us for our big day - we wanted to make sure that all of our guests left full and happy, and Twelve Baskets made sure that happened! The food was incredible and loved by all of our guests, and we loved that there was a variety of dishes to choose from to ensure that we weren't serving "standard wedding food" - the mini sliders and grilled cheese shooters at cocktail hour were such a hit! We're still getting so many compliments on how good the food was!
Beyond the delicious food, our experience working with Vita was top-notch. She's seriously incredible - we exchanged emails for months, and throughout the entire planning process she was always so easy to work with, great at providing suggestions and was flexible when we needed to make changes. Jessica Sent on 08/15/2018I was truly SO impressed by the service, quality, and professionalism of Twelve Baskets Catering. We wanted to do something a little different and have a brunch wedding, and Twelve Baskets really helped our dreams come to life with delicious food and a truly beautiful arrangement. Vita, my email contact, was always SO responsive! She got back to me quickly, helped me think about things I'd never even considered, and when I had requests she found a way to make them happen! They were very flexible, too! They allowed us to provide our own alcohol to save a bit of money, and even let us come by to drop off the alcohol and juice a couple days before the wedding to store, chill, and transport everything together. We did look at slightly less expensive catering options, but I am so glad that we chose to go with a truly professional service who really have their act together. On the wedding day, their servers came and found my new groom and I to make sure we had everything we needed and that our glasses were always full, and they even wrapped up to-go boxes for us to enjoy in our honeymoon suite (that late night slice of cake was heaven!). The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were extremely helpful. They even brought their own overlays and decorations in our wedding colors for the buffet table and bar. Any question or little change I had in the process of planning was promptly answered and taken care of by a simple email to our consultant. They were flexible and helped me to make changes that would be best for my wedding. They were considerate of my budget and even helped me to cut back costs in areas that may have benefited them financially. They were kind and friendly at the event and even made their best effort to make sure that I ate something!! (I was running around the whole time chatting with people and never actually got around to eating the plate they made up for me). Michelle Sent on 08/13/2008Our wedding catering was completely perfect. I honestly cannot think of any detail that was not absolutely wonderful. When Andrea & I had met or emailed, she thought of things that I would never have thought of. Her suggestions for the cocktail tables were perfect. She spent so much time with me planning (and re-planning!) everything. The staff was amazing... when the timing for the buffet to open had to be delayed because of guest parking issues, they rolled with the punches and no one even knew we were running a little behind schedule. They even entertained my five-year-old nephew's many questions! The food was delicious, and the staff MADE SURE that Dave and I were able to eat some of it. The mini quiches were great, and passed the close inspection of Dave's mother and sister who are the "egg-pie connoisseurs". There were only four left for us to take home.They really are the highest caliber of professionals - from the planning to the execution to the clean-up. I had called my sister who was helping at the site while Dave was golfing and I was having my hair done to make sure everything was going ok with the set up - she kept saying, "The caterers took care of this... the caterers already took care of that..." I couldn't believe it! She and the other "family helpers" had time to have a picnic lunch in the park before the wedding! I can't even imagine the work that went on behind the scenes to present such a flawless event. -

Megan Sent on 08/31/2011I loved Twelve Baskets. My mother lives in Spokane, my wedding planner lives in Bainbridge Island, and I live in Federal Way. They were so flexible with us in scheduling around my mother's visits and our change in the menu multiple times. They were so accomodating to all of our special requests including providing a separate gluten free pasta option at the last minute. We were constantly changing our minds, (so sorry Sarah!) and they were SO WONDERFUL and fairly quick to respond, even in the midst of their busy season. The food was delicious. I'm still getting compliments on the food. The sushi bar was so fun! The servers were so sweet too. They kept complimenting me on the dress, the decor, and the venue from the second I walked out of the room. I loved having them around. : ) I highly recommend them. -

I would recommend them and have recommended them to all brides looking for fresh and flavorful food :) I only marked down one star on professionalism because a couple members of my family had interaction with the staff member that was aggravated and was described and snippy/rude. I don't have any anything negative to say about anything else, my payment was handled easily and quickly and all of the communication was done over email with Jaffrey who is amazing helpful and lovely. 12 baskets is fabulous -

TLDR: very unprofessional, ignored the detailed Wedding Timeline notes, didn't cut or serve the cake or coffee so we had to do that ourselves.
I not sure where to start tbh. We trusted 12 Baskets and they completely let us down. They arrived late. The dishes we ordered were not the same as what we received inexplicably. After toasts the cake was to be cut and served and the coffee was supposed to be brewed and served and they simply didn’t do it so we had to do it ourselves. They have changed some key staff recently so needless to say you should find another catering company if you want to avoid the atrocities we endured on the most special day of our lives. Oh, and no one bothered to call us to discuss so that shows just how much they actually care … they don’t!!Twelve Baskets Catering's reply:

Your wedding day should have been a joyous and stress-free occasion, and we deeply regret that we did not meet the expectations you had for our service. The issues you mentioned re completely unacceptable. We take full responsibility for these oversights, and we understand how frustrating this must have been for you and your guests.
We also recognize that the lack of communication following the event added to your disappointment. That is something we are deeply sorry for, and we will be addressing this internally to ensure it does not happen again in the future.
We are now operating under new leadership. While we are committed to improving our service, this does not excuse the shortcomings you experienced.
