Aprill is wonderful!!
We hired Aprill as our wedding planner through a reference and found her services to be one of the best investments in our wedding! We worked with her for about 16 months in preparation for our wedding and she walked with us through the entire wedding process including (but not limited to) finding a venue, coordinating bridesmaid dress colors, and trying to help me find my lost veil! She is extremely knowledgeable about the wedding industry as well as design and organized with our ceremony and reception. She made our vision come to life in a way that I was not even expecting and it was the most wonderful day.
Aprill and her assistant did a wonderful job during the day of our wedding making sure we were comfortable as well as had adequate water and food throughout the day. She also helped in the aftermath of the wedding with issues such as a my lost veil and an incorrect cake design. We often were asked if we were stressed out about the wedding planning but Aprill made our journey so stress free! Definitely recommend hiring her! -

Aprill makes dreams reality!
Aprill is without a doubt the most outstanding planner I have ever worked with. Aprill worked with us for almost a year to plan our wedding reception. What she orchestrated was beyond what I ever could have imagined. She has a deep understanding of design, color, and the wedding industry and incredible relationships with a multitude of vendors, making coordination, planning, and the event itself flow seamlessly. Aprill always puts your budget first and throughout the planning process was 100% transparent about pricing and how we could adjust up or down to meet both our wants, needs, and how much we were realistically able to spend. She respects her clients’ time, and was so flexible in planning calls, meetings, and site visits around our rigid work schedules. On the day of our wedding, she took care of so many things I never would have thought of or been able to do- she made an additional boutonnière quite literally on the spot in my hotel room for my brother’s partner, she transported so many tough to carry items to the venue for us, she snagged my husband and I gelato and brought it to us on the dance floor before it ran out, and was so attentive to all of our last-minute needs. I know there are so many, many more things she took care of that went unnoticed because she is that good! Don’t hesitate to hire Aprill for whatever you may be planning- you can trust that she will get it right :) -

Aprill was by far the best decision we made in our teams of vendors. From the moment we had our initial meeting her expertise in wedding design and coordination shined through. She expertly managed every vendor, provided beautiful design expertise, created flawless timelines, and guided us through the venue walkthrough. Her planning meetings were not only thorough but also incredibly enjoyable, ensuring we felt supported and informed every step of the way. We had a few weather related challenges on our wedding day and she handled them with calmness and was able to pivot quickly numerous times. Her assistant Dolly was also amazing, she truly made me feel like she cared about my wedding day and was by my side throughout the whole day. I didn't feel like just another client, Aprill truly is passionate about what she does and it shows.
I highly recommend a top notch external planner/coordinator. I trusted her to bring my Bridgerton vision to life and she did just that! Thanks to Aprill and despite all of the challenges, our wedding was a stunning success, exceeding all our expectations. On my wedding day she made me feel like my happiness was her number one priority. She efficiently communicated with my bridal party to let them know what to expect and to ensure that they were also comfortable. I received compliments throughout the night about how stellar she was. Aprill is an exceptional planner and true delight to be around! We were so fortunate to have her as our wedding planner. She was referred to us by our wedding photographer, and our initial impressions were overwhelmingly positive. She was welcoming and genuinely excited to work with us, which made us feel at ease from the start. Neither of us had many ideas about how we wanted the wedding to unfold. We had some general thoughts and two colors, but that was about it. Aprill transformed those tidbits into a full color palette and aesthetic, including beautiful tablescapes, and worked with our florist to create stunning floral arrangements and greenery. She always had multiple vendor recommendations and took charge of coordinating all the specific details between vendors and our venue, especially in the final weeks leading up to the wedding.
Throughout the process, she was always easily accessible. We always knew exactly what she was working on, and she was incredibly responsive to our needs. She understood when we had busy weeks and gave us the space we needed, but as the wedding date approached she kept us on track with gentle reminders and "homework". Her professionalism was evident in every interaction, and her organizational skills were outstanding. Wedding planning can be stressful, but she left us feeling more at ease after each meeting.
On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly, thanks to her meticulous preparation. The timeline left us with plenty of breathing room, and no stress beyond normal nerves. We felt confident everything had been thought of and handled. Aprill and her assistant made sure that every detail was accounted for, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our special day. We honestly cannot think of anything that could have gone better and can genuinely say what every couple hopes for--the entire day was perfect.
April exceeded our expectations in every way from her airtight organization skills to her contagious warmth and energy. She made us feel like we were her only clients and personalized the wedding to reflect our personalities. Aprill was an absolute pleasure to work with for our micro-wedding. As a bride who had “no true vision” for her wedding day—Aprill’s creative direction and design was exactly what I had imagined.
I am new to the DMV area so one of my concerns was finding the perfect venue and vendors in three and-a-half months! Aprill gave us great recommendations for hair, make-up, photography, venues and then some! Aprill answered all of our questions promptly and even addressed things that I had not thought of myself!
We interviewed quite a few wedding planners before deciding to work with Tulle & Tinsel Event Co. and we are sooo happy we did! The Best Team
Kneil and I were over the moon with how supportive Aprill and Alex were during their time with us. They really helped us tie together all the pieces together and made sense of it all.
We picked their day of coordinator package since we already had a lot of our vendors already picked out. The package included a couple meetings but in reality we had an endless amount of phone calls and countless emails exchanged.
We did not have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding; everything went seamlessly and we could not have asked for a better team to handle our wedding at the Torpedo Factory. -

I cannot adequately express what an amazing job that Aprill did for us on our special day!!! I thought handling a vow renewal would be easy and I was confident I didn't need any help...Until I realized I was perfectly aligned for a major disaster a few weeks out! I contacted Tulle & Tinsel and they went into overdrive pulling all of my many pieces (and there were MANY) together as if we had worked together for months. She took care of the necessary correspondence, ceremony suggestions, where to spend more, where to spend less, decor expertise, etc. You name it, she could deliver it. The level of professionalism was first class and I was at no point confused on where we were in the process or concerned as to whether or not something was done. I would tell any bride or anyone planning an event to look no further! T&T will take every moment of stress and worry off of your plate so that you can get excited and focus on your big day!! I hope this company will be around for a long time, I have 4 daughters that I may have to help plan a wedding one day and I know who I'm calling!! LOL. The best vendor you could hire for a wedding of your dreams!
If I could give another Bride any piece of advice, it would be to choose Tulle and Tinsel Event Company for your wedding!! Our Wedding Day felt like a fairytale and Aprill was like our fairy godmother, working in the background to make sure all of our little details were perfectly executed and making certain we were having a good time and ready for all of the nights special moments. Aprill was able to work around our busy schedule, checked in if we needed to complete a task on our long list of things to get completed before the big day, helped find and communicate with vendors and provided industry insider information to help us guide our decisions. That is all just for prep work, that didn’t even cover the extra miles Aprill ran for our day of. Overall, she really went above and beyond to making our day perfect and was there for us every step of the way. There were so many things that my wife and I didn’t even think of that Aprill did and had it not been for her we really wouldn’t have had such an amazing wedding. We are forever grateful for her and you will be too! -

Where do i begin, the fact we planned our wedding in about 3 1/2 months, switched venues and our guest list increased Aprill was amazing from start to finish. I shared with her my vision for our wedding day and she went above and beyond. From speaking to vendors and working with may husband and I Aprill made sure we had everything we loved and wanted. It ended up raining from literally morning til 1 hour before our wedding and they executed the rain plan and everything was just perfect. From reception to dinner our family and friends shared with us repeatedly how beautiful everything was and even how smooth the day went. Everything went as scheduled , and she didn't let that slip! I can keep going , but i highly recommend Aprill and her team for execution , planning, and everything in between. -

With the COVID madness, my fiancé and I decided to move the destination wedding we were planning locally, and we couldn't feel more lucky to have stumbled upon Tulle & Tinsel's website.
As we began planning the important points for us were, 1) it was going to be small and 2) completely stress free. The Tulle & Tinsel's Mirco Wedding Package allowed us to accomplish this without any hiccups and at a very very reasonable price. We were able to include our nearest and dearest while keeping the guest list short, and the wedding package did all the thinking for us. The vendors that were vetted by Tulle & Tinsel (cake, flowers, makeup and photography) were top notch, which removed all the research usually required for planning. But, most importantly, Aprill's professionalism and calm demeanor made us feel completely taken care of during the day of the event.
Aprill, thank you so much for making our wedding dreams come true!

We decided to move up our wedding date and Aprill came to my rescue after I reached out to her in a complete panic as I only had a month to pull everything together. She emailed me the very next morning, came out to my home where we planned to have our wedding and by the time, she left I could breathe again. She had an answer for every question and connected me with amazing vendors to bring our vision to life. She answered every email, text, call, calmed my nerves and assured me that everything would be perfect. I had no idea that a micro-wedding was even a thing when we started planning, she has it down to a science and every detail was covered. I was close to tears as the day approached and the forecast showed rain, she helped me with inquiries for a back up plan and kept me calm. Yes, it rained leading up to the ceremony and Aprill and her assistant worked diligently in the rain with all of our vendors. They decorated our backyard as if nothing were happening and watching them through my kitchen window while I was having my make up done left me in awe. While I wanted to cry they kept smiling and reassuring me that it was going to pass and all was going to be fine. Then as they said, as I was ready to walk out the sun started to shine, everything started to dry out and Aprill orchestrated every detail of our timeline flawlessly. Our special day turned out magical! She delivered as she promised and did so professionally, with ease and never flinched not even in the rain. Aprill helped me plan the most perfect micro-wedding in just over 1 month! She made me think about things that I would have normally never thought about when planning the wedding. She was also very receptive to last-minute changes I had 1 week before the wedding and made sure I had all my bases covered so everything would run smoothly. We got engaged in May, spent several weeks in newly engaged bliss and didn’t start wedding planning until July — with a New Year’s Eve wedding date! I attempted to plan the wedding myself and quickly understood how big of a task the wedding planing process would be with less than six months to do it.
After one conversation with Aprill, the owner of Tulle & Tinsel, I knew that we were in great hands. Her experience and ability to provide clear next steps provided immediate calm. She quickly understood my vision, offered perfect suggestions, and was always available to answer all of my questions and concerns.
I know she does this for a living and has years of weddings/events under her belt, but she did a great job of making our wedding feel like it was her priority and an event she was super excited to see come to fruition.
This was the best day of our lives, and hiring Tulle & Tinsel to handle our wedding was the best decision I made (after saying “yes!”) to solidify that. -

Best money we spent... Period!
I'm type A, a teacher and a virgo. I was the girl who thought she didn't need a planner. Everyone in my family said it was a waste of money because I plan everything in our family and they knew I could do it on my own. Let me tell you I was WRONG and they all admitted they were WRONG too!!! It took me 6 months into wedding planning to figure this out, don't be like me. Aprill is AMAZING, I literally felt like she was me in another body because she was so in-tune with my wants and needs. She made sure our vision came to life, kept me on track and did not let Pinterest take me in the rabbit hole. She even stood up for me when vendors tried to push me into following their vision. Aprill is on YOUR team and she honestly felt like more of a friend then a vendor. She paid for herself in the time, stress, and energy I would have given had I not have booked her. She moves like a ninja and is going to make sure you both have an amazing and memorable day. YOU CANNOT DO WHAT SHE DOES, just accept it! You will be too busy enjoying your day, so let her team handle it. I cant wait to see the greatness that is headed her way, jump on the train now before she is off planning celebrity weddings.

My T&T experience was great. The team was amazing in planning every detail of our wedding day. Proper organization is so important to me, and their skills with this made our day carefree and smooth! Aprill is outstanding at her job. She advocated for us for things we didn't realize were going to be important on our wedding day, and helped us think through and execute our vision for the day. We didn't think about any logistical details once we arrived at the venue which I think is a testament to how good at her job Aprill is. Hiring Aprill to coordinate our wedding day was definitely one of the best decisions we made and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple that is planning a wedding/ elopement/ love party!
