After interviewing nearly 15 wedding planners in the DC area, it was immediately clear that Trish stood out from the rest. She is the perfect combination of experience, creativity, organization, and calm professionalism. From our very first meeting, she brought fresh ideas, strong relationships with vendors, and a clear plan to make our wedding vision come to life — and she absolutely delivered.
Trish coordinated our entire wedding weekend at The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC, and truly made it the best day of our lives. She handled every detail flawlessly — from vendor logistics and timelines to countless little touches we never would’ve thought of ourselves. She has a great assistant who ensured everything ran seamlessly the day of the wedding, allowing us (and our families and friends) to just enjoy the moment. So many people told us it was the best wedding they ever went to (and our friends are hard to impress) thanks to Trish’s amazing planning and managing all the logistics on our big day.
One thing that really impressed me was how fair and transparent her pricing was. She charges a flat fee that’s incredibly reasonable compared to many planners in DC that want to charge you a percentage yet the level of service and expertise she provides is exceptional. (She has been doing this for 20+ years) She got multiple quotes from vendors, helped us weigh the pros and cons, and always respected our budget and priorities. And she planned everything in less than 3 months!
She’s also the kind of planner who can take a last-minute idea and make it shine. I refused to spend $1,000 on altar flowers and instead sent my brother to Trader Joe’s the morning of the wedding to grab orchids — and somehow, Trish turned them into the most elegant, breathtaking display imaginable.
Beyond her incredible talent and professionalism, Trish is just a joy to work with. She kept us organized, focused, and calm throughout the process, asked the right questions, and made sure we always felt supported and heard. She’s connected to all the best vendors, has accounts everywhere for any extra detail you could possibly want, and her taste is impeccable.
I would hire Trish again in a heartbeat — not just for another wedding, but for any special event: a gala, milestone birthday, or anything worth celebrating. She’s that amazing of an event planner. If you’re looking for someone who will bring your vision to life, handle every detail with care, and make your day or event truly unforgettable, Trish is the one.
