Exceptional Service, Seamless Execution, and Incredible Food
We had an incredible experience with Traditions Catering & Events for our wedding. From the very beginning, Annie and Zanny were both professional, organized, and genuinely invested in helping make our day special. They made the planning process feel smooth and stress-free, which meant a lot to us.
During our tasting, we felt so welcomed, and it was clear how much pride the team takes in their work. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly. Many of our family members and friends commented on how attentive and professional the staff were. Salads were placed promptly, tables were cleared quickly, and the team stayed on top of everything throughout the evening.The food was absolutely delicious. Our guests loved it, and we heard compliments about the meal all night long.
Traditions Catering played a big role in making our celebration feel seamless and memorable. We’re so grateful to Annie, Zanny, and the entire team for their professionalism, care, and attention to detail. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer who truly delivers a wonderful experience.

Amazing Portsmouth Wedding
Traditions catering was one of my top three choices when trying to find a caterer. We were sold on their meatballs as their prices were competitive and reasonable. I worked closely with Zanny and Annie over at Traditions. They were amazing to work with and would highly recommend. They took the time not only to create a connection with us, but got to know us personally. We live two hours away and communication was key to plan this wedding. They would answer emails within 24 hours and call when needed. The tasting was amazing and we even got to meet the chef who was proud of the meals he created. As he should be, because it was that delicious. Leading up to the big day, Annie made it easy to contact her as I work in healthcare with odd hours too. Fast forward to the wedding day itself, it was seemless, the team that was present was absolutely amazing and kind, they handled small details, and their set up was beautiful. The food was not only delicious but HOT. we had one guest who said that when she goes to weddings, the food is usually cold by the time it gets to her but she complimented that it wasn't room temp. We ended up deciding on the chicken and the steak for entrees. Would highly recommend the chicken as it was stuffed with spinach and a cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious and even better as left overs. In summary, Traditions catering made my day easier, was absolutely delicious, and would hire again for a big event. I couldn't have imagined going with anyone else for our wedding day.

Great food everyone couldn't stop talking about.
Traditions were on our venue's preferred vendor list, and we're so glad we chose them! They were the only caterer that offered a tasting, which gave us the chance to meet the chef and our sales consultant, Zanny, and sample the amazing food ahead of time.
The team was professional, efficient, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly - and our guest couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was!

A Preferred Vendor That Truly Shows Up
We had the pleasure of working with Traditions Catering for a wedding reception at Riverview Centre, and they truly exceeded expectations. I worked closely with Annie and Jimmy, and the experience was seamless from start to finish.
As one of our Preferred Vendors, it absolutely showed. Their team was organized, professional, clean, and incredibly helpful, making the reception run smoothly not only for the couple and their guests, but also from a venue operations standpoint. Communication was clear, timelines were respected, and their attention to detail made a big difference on event day.
From a Venue Manager perspective, it’s always refreshing to work with a catering team that understands the flow of a wedding day and operates as a true partner within the space. The couple had a wonderful experience — and honestly, it was even better on our end.

Team Work!
As the Day-of Coordinator for my friends beautiful wedding at the Slover Library, we had the pleasure of working closely with their team. Annie was amazing. In the short time we had to make the day for my friend amazing, she kept us on point.
Traditions Catering was truly exceptional. Their staff moved with professionalism, efficiency, and complete attentiveness to the flow of the day. They were quiet when needed, quick when necessary, and consistently supportive of not just the couple and their guests, but of every vendor involved. Their cooperation and willingness to assist played a huge role in keeping the timeline smooth and the atmosphere stress-free.

Outstanding Caterer
My daughters wedding was Oct 4 at the Maine in Williamsburg and Traditions catered all of it with a plated dinner and appetizers. Food was fresh and served hot and they were super attentive to everyones needs. Everyone had a wonderful time and had rave reviews for the service and food.

Great food, great service!!
We used Traditions for our wedding at the historic post office and they were phenomenal!
The food was so delicious and everyone was very impressed! We had a raw oyster bar at cocktail hour and it was a huge hit, along with the fresh pressed orange crushes.
The bartenders and servers were ON IT! They were all very professional and kind. Highly recommend!

Mother of the Bride So Grateful!!
My Daughter and new son-in-law got married a few weeks ago and Traditions catered the event. The food was DELICIOUS!!! We chose to go with passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, then for the reception we had the carving station, taco station, pasta station, vegetables, and then a dessert station. The Beef Tenderloin was seasoned and cooked perfectly, literally “melt in your mouth” heaven. The tacos were sooooo good! The chicken, the beef, the shrimp, the mexican cream sauce, all of it delicious! The pasta station was just as good, my favorite being the vodka blush. I received multiple compliments from so many guests on how delicious and amazing the food was. One guest even stated that it was the best food he had ever had. I even received compliments on the vegetables. It was a drinking crowd, and the bartenders did a fantastic job making the best drinks and managing the line with ease. They made hands down the best margaritas from scratch as it was my daughter’s signature drink. The manager on duty and the entire staff were extremely professional, hardworking, helpful, and attentive to our needs and wants. Excellent Service!! They all worked very hard to make my daughter’s wedding day PERFECT! This is my first daughter to get married so you can imagine how nervous I was. But the Traditions staff literally put my mind at ease and I realized early on that it was all in very capable hands and that I could relax and enjoy what truly was an Amazing and Special Day! Traditions ROCKED IT above and beyond all of our expectations!!

The Perfect Brightman Wedding !
Absolute perfection!
I cannot rave about this experience enough, we had traditions cater for our wedding 3/23/24. When we did our tasting my husband and I both said this is something that we would order out at a restaurant but expected the food to be not as good when it was made for 135 people. Well, we were wrong it was absolutely perfect. We have had so many people tell us that it was the best food at wedding they have ever had. When feeding 135+ people you know it isn't going to be cheap and to say our money was well spent would be an understatement!
Now for the staff!!! WOW WOW WOW
Zanny and Caroline went above and beyond communicating with me before the event. there were multiple changes I had to make and sooo many emails i sent them and they never made me feel like i was bothering them.
The staff at the wedding was amazing as well! There was not a single time a staff member wasn't around and asking me, my husband, or close family if they needed anything.
A special shout out to jimmy !!! My day of coordinator couldn't stop talking about how amazing he was!
I cannot thank traditions and their staff enough for being a part of the team and going above and beyond for us on our big day!!!

Traditions Catering always goes above and beyond for my couples. I just adore working with Caroline to ensure our weddings run smoothly from beginning to end when it comes to catering. Food that was out of the World!
Traditions Catering are so accommodating! We had guests that had special dietaries and they were very accommodating to meet those needs. They even included our son's opinion on the kid's meal of what to be served (of course it was nuggets and fries). They also are very detail oriented to be sure that their staff knows the type of desserts you have to the napkin fold. Response time for this catering is basically instant! We loved working with them and couldn't ask for better food from anywhere else!

Fabulous Caterer all around
We did a 50th wedding anniversary party. It was like a wedding reception without the wedding ceremony. Traditions did the catering for us. The communication and attention to detail was amazing. The team who did the actual event were so great. They cooked and cleaned and left the venue better than when they arrived. The food was so delicious and a great value. I would absolutely work with them again.

A caterer that delivered all of our favorites
Traditions catering is in our opinion the best value and most well rounded wedding caterer in the business. As a huge part of the wedding budget, catering is a momentous choice from a financial perspective and a grand part of the wedding event itself. Traditions delivered a delicious, diverse, and delightful catering experience for a price that in our research can rival any in the industry. In the planning process, one of the elements that stood out to us about Traditions was the exceedingly deep selection of menu items that they had to offer. So many wedding caterers we spoke with made us feel like we were about to settle on at least one aspect of our catering selection, but Traditions had the menu to make an entire catering lineup with no compromises (including drinks!). So many of these companies fall short on delivering items that match the favorite foods/ingredients you indicate, but Traditions crafted an experience that had nearly every favorite of ours (from balsamic & goat cheese to tuna to specific local craft beer) on the docket. And the quality absolutely delivered on game day. The team at Traditions (shoutout Caroline and Zanny) are an absolute pleasure to work with and truly made this vision of favorites a reality for us. I promise they can do the same for you!

Truly the best!!
Traditions catered our wedding this past November and it was such an incredible experience. The food and drinks were perfect, and our guests raved about how delicious everything was (especially the mashed potato bar). Highly recommend! From initial inquiry to execution of the event, every interaction has been such a positive experience. I didn't have to worry about a thing!
Traditions created and presented the perfect food spread for a brunch at my house on the morning after my wedding. I knew I would be very limited in what I could do to prepare and host that morning, but it was no problem for Zanny and her staff. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They allowed me to spend precious time with out-of-town friends and family, which is one of the biggest gifts a bride can ask for! Thank you Zanny, and I highly recommend your company.

Something for everyone!
This venue was perfect for our wedding. We wanted a blend of indoors and out, and this place has it all. Outdoor wedding and indoor reception, with a beautiful gazeebo and already decorated ballroom, it was perfect! All we needed was the trim which we did ourselves. And the food was epic! There's something for everyone, and they were even able to make things vegan AND gluten free for those hard to feed guests. There was not a single person who wasn't pleased, wasn't fed, or wasn't happy. Book here, and you'll be happy too!

Amzing Venue
Couldn't ask for a better place to have our night. The food was excellent, the staff spot on, the setting was amazing. We had some much fun and were delighted to have the ceremony outside and the reception follow soon after. The gazebo area was gorgeous, the course was ideal for photos, and the reception hall was perfect for an intimate and fun night with everyone that came out.

Our Dream Come True!!!!!!
This venue was everything I imagined both our rehearsal, wedding ceremony and reception could ever be. Nicole was an angel and helped us with any little thing as this was a destination wedding. Making plans long distance Nicole and the staff did not miss a beat. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Food and drink were phenomenal. All our family and friends raved about the food, drink and the venue. What an amazing venue

The Best Day Ever!
Having our daughter's wedding at this venue was a great decision. Nicole was readily available to answer questions and help us make decisions. Outstanding Venue!
This venue made my wedding and reception a dream come true. Nicole was a God-send! She accommodated our every request, gave us recommendations for vendors regarding service that they did not provide, and was available day or night and weekends for each and every questions, comment or concern. She practically bent over backwards to help make our day very special. Staff were very polite and professional as well as helpful. Food was great and our families were thrilled. The reception was awesome. Very affordable packages. Gave us leeway with the payment plan and with last minute changes up to 5 days prior. Amazing venue!!

We had our Daughter's Sweet 16 at the Chesapeake Golf Club and Nicole and the Traditions Staff was amazing. Their attention to detail was outstanding. The day of setup Nicole provided us with last minute items that helped to bring our Daughters Special Day all together. I will recommend them to everyone. Rev and his team of food pros made total peace in our family of omnivores and vegetarians. From the moment he showed up at 8 am to start roasting the pig, to the very last rinsing of the very last dish at 11pm, Traditions Catering staff was friendly, welcoming, professional and seamless. The vegetarians were thrilled to have so many good looking great tasting options—the Gouda Mac cheese was a particular hit. Rev listened to our ideas for a southern barbecue and made everything happen right on time. This must be the result of 10000 hours of expertise in a tough business. Truly a team of winners in every way!!

I love, love, love this company. Zanny Brickner was my point-of-contact up until the day of my wedding, and she is incredible. She is funny, smart, and honest. She guided me on headcount details, design details, and even walked me through options for the bar at our wedding (cash v open v deposit then cash). If you end up with her as your catering guru, you are lucky! I swear she is my sister from another life, we got along so well. She created a detailed timeline for the day-of, and it was incredibly helpful as the details start to pile up at the end and can feel overwhelming if, like my husband and I, you can't afford a coordinator to help plan the whole thing. Sean was the on-site manager during our wedding, and he was awesome. The entire Traditions staff at our wedding was polite, thoughtful, and helpful! There was a leak in a bathroom at our venue, and the venue didn't have a manager or coordinator on-site, so the catering staff helped us clean it up so guests wouldn't slip or get wet. They thoughtfully plated food for my husband and me, as we had a buffet, and they didn't want to make us walk through the line. They asked us if they should cut up our entire cake or leave the top tier. They helped us clean up our own items at the end of the night. I feel it's a company that goes above and beyond for their employees. I don't plan on planning a wedding again, but if there is ever an event where I need catering services, I am hiring Traditions.

From the1st time we met with Rev and Zanny we knew they were the right caterers. They were so much more warm, friendly, and accommodating than anyone else we had met with. We did a fundraiser at the Military Air Museum for over 200 people and the commitment and help from them since it was our 1st one was invaluable. The event went off without a hitch from start to finish.They arrived early to make sure we had the table cloths to allow for plenty of time to get our centerpieces set up, and worked tirelessly till the end of the event.The food was spectacular and being in the service industry for over 45 years I know how hard that is. The service staff were very professional and met our every need. At the end of the event they even helped empty the water from the 3 vases on every table and remove and turn off the led lights my wife had placed in the bottom of every vase, which was not required of them. The members at my Rotary Club are still talking about the event. In closing I cannot say how grateful I am to have worked with Rev and Zanny to make this such a successful event for our charities, and am looking forward to working with them in the future!

My husband and I originally had our whole wedding planned for May 2018, everything was going well.. until I got pregnant and had to move my wedding date up and needed to get married in February. I contacted the venue in November and I was so scared I would lose my deposit and they wouldn't be willing to move my date. To my surprise they were more than accommodating in helping me move up my date. Nicole is the best. She helped me every step of the way and worked with me going back and forth on everything and was so patient. The food is delicious and I am still hearing about how "wonderful that sesame ginger chicken was" from my guests. I couldn't have chosen a better venue. My wedding day was absolutely perfect and the staff was so helpful during both the ceremony and reception. If you're looking for a stress-free wedding day Traditions is DEFINITELY the way to go! I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

We worked with Rev Guill and his team who went above and beyond to make our daughter's wedding reception a fabulous event. From start to finish Rev was incredibly helpful, responsive, totally unruffled (even when we added/changed things close to the date), and always pleasant & easy to talk to. He very seriously took our budget into consideration when making suggestions and was careful to ask pertinent questions to help us plan for every need for the event. He told us when he would get the proposal to us and met that date (when a few others did not...if they even actually followed through and sent us one!). Many of our guests complimented the food, which was outstanding. He and the day of staff team saw that everything went smoothly and were very gracious to our guests. From beginning to end, FIVE STARS for Traditions! Rev has always been extremely responsive, caring, and flexible – everything you need in a caterer for a big event!
From the beginning when we were exploring different caterers, Rev made us feel that Traditions WANTED our business. Rev and the rest of Traditions always made us feel like we were a priority to them and answered all of our questions quickly and effectively.
Upon on first meeting, Rev really took the time to get to know us. He was GENUINELY interested in our lives as a couple – his passion for catering and creating unique, delicious menus truly shows! In the end, we decided on a taco bar, a slider bar, and a mashed potato/mac-and-cheese bar. He sent us multiple different options and worked with us continuously to get to a price point we were all comfortable with!
You really know your caterer cares when he is even at your event SERVING THE FOOD. He wasn’t just there supervising and walking around, he was serving the food and interacting with our guests! That is the sign of someone that truly loves what he does. Every person at our wedding talked about how good the food was from Traditions, we frequently heard that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! The service was truly top-notch, we even had our own personal server as the bride and groom to ensure that we got to eat at our wedding!! And at the end of the night, Rev even gave us TONS of leftovers!
I truly can’t even put into words how wonderful Traditions and Rev are – if you need a caterer Traditions is the place to go! We will certainly be using them again in the future!

Zanny and the entire team at Cypress Point Country Club were amazing throughout our whole event! We booked this venue + caterer for my sister's bridal shower (3/12/17) and everything was perfect! Awesome experience from the beginning to the day of the wedding! Nicole the event coordinator was very patient and ensured me that everything was going to be great and it was. The food was superb especially the seafood lasagna! I would recommend this venue to any bride on a budget as I was. Thank you Nicole and all of Traditions staff #11/12bestdayever

Nicole at Traditions was a great asset in making sure my wedding came together. She is wonderful and very flexible. The venue is beautiful once made up and the staff goes out of their way to make sure the guests are satisfied. The prices are awesome!!

When looking for a caterer we were most nervous about committing and not knowing if we would like the food. We were lucky enough to go to our friends' wedding last year and it was a wedding catered by Traditions and we loved the food!! So we knew what we had to do! We worked with Rev and he is simply amazing (friendly, accommodating, professional . .I could go on)! During the process he worked closely with us and created some new items which followed the theme for our wedding which we wanted showcased in the food. The day of staff was wonderful - as always the bartenders were a hit! They went above the simple moving of chairs from ceremony to reception and moved the wine barrels we rented for the ceremony so we could reuse them at the bar instead of making us rent another pair of wine barrels from our rentals vendor - things like that not just everyone would do! The food was amazing! We did a family style (larger portions served to each table so that our guest would have to interact and not wait in a buffet line) and it was a hit! We love Traditions and would highly recommend them!

Everyone at Traditions was pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable in their fields. Nicole was super helpful in nailing down the small details that my fiancé and I wanted in our wedding ceremony and reception. We were looking for a place to have a wedding ceremony AND reception, where the food was good and the cost was reasonable. Traditions was the perfect spot for that. They were very flexible in working with us and paying as we went along. Nicole was very responsive via telephone and e-mail if we had any question. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, I was glad there was a large space where we could get ready on-site. The food was DELICIOUS! (Thanks Rev and his team), people are still raving about the dinner they had at our reception. Thanks for making our wedding the best it could be, I will make sure to recommend anyone who asks right over to you!

Where do we begin? Traditions Catering and Events provided the best service making our wedding reception outstanding for the bride, groom, and all of our guests! Their service team prepared amazing dishes that everyone raved about at the right temperature and at the right time. It's not often that you get flawless execution but Traditions delivered on that. Rev Guill and his team made our special day very memorable.

My husband and I chose Cypress Point Country Club as our wedding venue. During our wedding planning process, management changed and Traditions acquired it as one of their properties. As a bride, I was super nervous that the change would disrupt wedding planning and cause a headache. But, I'm happy to report that it was the exact opposite of that! Zanny Brickner was my coordinator and she helped my husband and I plan the PERFECT day. She is extremely detailed oriented and brought up items I hadn't even thought to plan for. The food was excellent and our guests raved about each item we chose for our buffet. The ceremony and reception space is beautifully kept. The staff goes out of their way to help the bride and groom enjoy their day. We're so happy we chose Cypress Point/Traditions for our special day.

My experience with this venue was amazing. The service was very personable and above my expectations. The wedding event planner assisted me in so many ways. She even provided me with a checklist for the day of to ensure I was prepared for my special day. I gave her my budget and she made sure I stayed within my budget. Every staff member was courtesy, helpful, and a joy to work with. I would recommend this venue to anyone and for any type of event. #theyrock

We had a great experience with this vendor. They were always responsive to our emails, double-checked the details with us along the way and made excellent recommendations on other vendors. They were very accommodating with the time we wanted to do our reception and with set up options/decorations before the event. Also, the food was absolutely amazing - way better than most "wedding food."
Additionally, we had a fairly large wedding and the price was comparable or better than many of the other options in our area. We paid a little under $9000 for 150 meals, our DJ (scheduled by the venue), $1000 of alcohol and all taxes and gratuity. I would definitely recommend this vendor to friends and family!

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Nicole through our whole wedding reception process and planning! She was wonderful through the whole thing. Anytime we had a ? she would respond/reply back almost always the same business day and usually within a few hours of it being sent via e-mail. She met with us a lot to work within our very tight budget. She was always so nice and pleasant. She was very open to some ideas that we had when it came to using their facility and decorating it. Words cannot express how much we loved working with her. I will definitely go back to her for any other parties or events I will want to have. The staff is very friendly and we love that they are a family business. I called 17 other catering companies prior to contacting Nicole and we are very happy and pleased with the choice we made. We enjoyed workin with her and her staff that we even referred a friend of ours to them before we even had our reception. They were very professional but also very personable. Everyone that I have talked to since the wedding has raved about how it was one of the best wedding receptions they have ever been to. They loved the food (we had breakfast for dinner) and that it was served family style)!!!!!!!! We can't wait to work with the traditions family/staff again in the future!

What a lovey venue, and the food was amazing too! The location is a golf course, which the they do shut down during the ceremony. I also had my reception there and I had a menu of hor d'oeuvres and all of them were delicious! If i had a chance to do everything over again I would still pick this venue! I also had my rehearsal dinner here because they have a restaurant too.

If you need a caterer for any event Traditions is the way to go. They catered our wedding at the Women's Club of Portsmouth and my husband and I were very pleased with the Traditions! Nicole was very accommodating and excellent to work with. The staff was outstanding! They really went above and beyond our expectations. It was great working with them. Not to mention the food was AMAZING! We had the Top Sirloin Oscar and Forest Mushroom Chicken with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. I would personally recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs an event taken care of!

I used Traditions for my wedding and it was literally the greatest decision I could have ever made! Rev and Nicole were complete Godsends! First, they agreed to do my wedding on a day they already had events planned and with only a couple months in advance. Second, even though they are located in Chesapeake they delivered my food to Newport News. Third, THEIR FOOD TASTES LIKE HEAVEN ON EARTH. At first it's scary because their tasting is definitely nicer than most tastings and comes after you do a down payment and sign with them, but fear not! Their food will blow away your expectations. I went to many Bridal showers and tried all kinds of food and there were very few other places that had food as tasty as theirs and NONE that had the quality of food at the prices they have! Which brings me to my next point, they truly understand the meaning of ON A BUDGET. I had a tight budget and I was able to get almost everything I wanted. I say "almost" because once you see their menu you will really want everything on it. Now if you are using a venue other than theirs, I would highly suggest that you hire their servers because they do quality work and unfortunately the serving staff at my venue just didn't take care of the food like they should have. Nicole went above and beyond to pick up the slack even though she needed to get to another event and I just appreciate everything they did. They last great thing is that just because you don't pay a lot doesn't mean you only have a small amount of food. We had so much food left over! It really came in handy at 2am when everyone was ready to eat again! Thank you guys a million times for everything! You all are truly amazing, both personally and professionally.

The staff at Traditions made every step of planning and executing our big day so easy! They were always quick to respond and helped us make decisions to best use everything that they could offer. The food was excellent and our guests really enjoyed everything that was provided. Having the ceremony on site really helped simplify having to shuffle between multiple locations and the area that they have setup for ceremonies is beautiful! I cannot think of any other place that would be able to provide as much as they did, as well as they did, and for a price as affordable as they did!

We found Rev and his team 6 months before we wanted to have our wedding. We had a very tight budget, and things were looking bleak as far as finding a venue that had what we needed for our desired time frame. They had our date still available, and we could NOT be happier with how everything turned out. Rev was so accommodating, sincere, and exciting to work with. We knew he was going to be able to be trusted with our big day. His team did a PHENOMENAL job. We were so impressed, and we felt so comfortable all day. Not to mention the food was incredible. By far the best food we have ever had at a wedding, and that says a lot considering we had just been to a wedding two weeks prior that was at a 4 star resort! We chose the BBQ option and had brisket, chicken on the bone, green beans, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. It was so good. They followed our timeline for the wedding day also, we never once had to ask or remind them of anything. There was zero stress involved. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs an event taken care of!

My husband and I can't say enough amazing things about Anne and the entire staff at Cypress Point Country Club. They truly love what they do and helped make our wedding day vision a reality. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests on how perfect everything looked and how smoothly the whole day went. Anne Goessling, the event coordinator, is FANTASTIC! She serves as the day of planner and mistress of ceremony. We loved her! She was very available throughout the entire planning process through email, phone, and in person meetings. We also helped us with recommending other vendors during our planning process. She worked with our florist to make sure the whole reception was decorated.
The venue is beautiful during any time of year too. We got married outside the club house on the golf course and it was gorgeous in October. Once our ceremony was over we took pictures and the staff made sure we all got drinks while we took all our photos. The staff also got my husband and I dinner first so that we could eat before all our guests. We were so happy about this because we had been worried after hearing from friends that the bride and groom never have time to eat. Anne and her staff checked in with us throughout the whole reception to make sure that we had a drink and asked if we needed food too.
We highly recommend Cypress Point Country Club to any couple looking to get married in the 757 area. You won't regret it!

We were very excited when we chose Cypress Point for our wedding. The venue provided spacious rooms and updated, classic decor. The grounds of the golf course were well maintained and provided a great backdrop for our ceremony. The events team was very helpful with suggestions and timely responses to questions we had. The onsite restaurant was a plus for catering, and the food was delicious. We could not have asked for a better place or better people to help make our wedding more perfect.

OMG everything was PERFECT for our wedding reception. All the guests kept commenting on how this was the most beautiful venue they'd ever seen and how great the food was (it was so good - I only wish I'd grubbed out a little more). The bartenders were all very accommodating. The banquet manager checked on us every so often and even brought us a special bride and groom drink. At one point, I went up to the bar, and our coordinator Anne was right there making sure I got everything I wanted. Did I mention how gorgeous the patio was? Our reception could not gone any smoother than I imagined it. Of everything involved in a wedding, it was SO nice not having to worry about anything at the reception and just letting loose. They really made us feel special and really emphasized that it was "our night". Also, Anne is probably one of the most pleasant people I've ever worked with in my entire life. She met us for tours, met us for food tastings, answered my million-paged bridezilla question emails all the time. She even gave out her cell phone number for if I had questions on a Saturday, and she wasn't at the Club. She always answered me within the same day, which is super rare for any professional. She was just so nice and helpful, and after all the time I spent emailing her and meeting her at the Country Club pre-wedding, I feel like she could be my bff. I'm just like so in awe of how well this place worked out for us. I even changed the food count like a day before the wedding, and they still had it nailed down perfectly. Brides, if you're looking for a stress-free wedding reception that will be tasty and gorgeous and will make you feel like a queen, just stop the search. Cypress Point has seriously got their ish together. I'm looking forward to coming to some of their holiday events, because we most certainly will be back.

How often have you gone to a wedding (or other event where lots of ppl are being fed at once) and the food was so so? Traditions Catering is who you want catering your wedding. Trust me! They worked with my budget and provided food that was so good, guests are still talking about it. And the staff couldn't be nicer! You can't go wrong unless you chose someone else.

Rev Guill and his staff were so easy to work with!! Rev offered two tastings, the first one helped him to determine our tastes so that he could fine-tune the menu items and the seasonings...the second tasting included items that we had requested (done to perfection) and items that he selected for us (which were beyond perfect). He created a few gluten free options at our request. At the reception, the food was fresh and full of flavor....even the pickiest of my guests are still raving about the food...and my guests included a high-end restaurant owner who also caters and a few event planners. Presentation was lovely and the food kept on coming.
During the set-up, I had expected to be there to help with the arrangements and decorations. I had some delays and my sister (who is a professional meeting planner) stepped in and changed up the game plan. Rev Guill went with the flow and followed her direction without any problems, she enjoyed working with him.

Our family recently held a memorial celebrating my grandfather, who recently passed away. We were fortunate to hear about Traditions Catering and asked them to cater the event. This was the first time we've ever hired a catering service, so it was somewhat overwhelming initially. However, upon meeting with Rev my family and I were immediately put at ease and knew that we were in good hands. Rev was very professional and was able to give thoughtful suggestions to make this a stress free event. The event itself was perfect and turned out the way my grandfather would have wanted. The food was excellent, I only wish we would have tried additional dishes but there's always next time. I would highly recommend Traditions Catering for your next special event.

We were highly satisfied with Traditions Catering and Events. They bent over backwords so that my son and daughter-in-laws wedding would be a fine memory. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. They worked with us until we liked the setup of the reception. They had many wonderful suggestions and gave us some good recommendations on what looks good and whom to use etc. The food was delicious and they were very helpful when we asked for anything we thought was out of the ordinary but to them they could make anything happen. Rev, Nicole, and Jeff were unbelievably amazing. From the Jamaican-style ox tail and curry rice they made especially for us, to the flexibility of set up and break down. The event was actually a Rehearsal Dinner. They provided extra support as needed for cutting the cake, allowing us to bring our own wine, and meeting all of our vegetarian needs. The shrimp dish was awesome!! Thanks so much Rev!
