We are so thankful to have worked with TLC and their team for our wedding. Kirin and Lisette and team were so attentive and thoughtful throughout the whole process, whether it was to help us find catering options when others were unavailable, or helping us call our rentals for a last minute heater need, or making sure we knew all of our options for venue setup and layout.
Day of, we noticed so many times how things were just... done. We didn't have to worry about anything -- Lisette always had it handled. Even when we changed the direction we were facing for our ceremony at the last minute or changed up the procession layout, Lisette was on top of it. Apparently we had some issues with our linens as well, but we didn't even hear about it until after the wedding since everything still looked great. Turns out, Lisette handled it without us knowing.
All to say -- you will not regret working with the TLC team! They are so excellent, and we couldn't have pulled this off without them! -

Working with TLC Event Coordination as a photo booth vendor was an absolute pleasure. Their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding throughout the entire event.
What impressed me most was their thoughtful approach - they strategically positioned an audio guest book table near my mirror photo booth backdrop, which significantly enhanced both the visual appeal of the photos and the overall guest experience. This kind of strategic thinking shows they truly understand how to maximize each vendor’s impact.
Their communication was flawless, timeline perfectly managed, and they created a collaborative environment where all vendors could work seamlessly together. From a value standpoint, they delivered exactly what they promised and more, allowing each vendor to shine while beautifully executing the couple’s vision.

I am the House Manager at The Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery, and TLC is the first coordinator on our preferred vendor list for a reason. Wow, it’s no surprise Kirin and the TLC team have so many 5-star reviews! They were an absolute joy to work with and helped us bring our dream wedding to life at Reinstein Ranch this past September. Before the big day, we had two meetings with Kirin. The first was to go over the incredibly helpful planning materials TLC provided, where we shared our ideas for food and décor. Kirin not only listened but gave us excellent vendor recommendations. Every time I reached out after that, she was quick to respond with thoughtful advice, which I deeply appreciated.
The second meeting was for final details, and Kirin went above and beyond, staying an extra 30 minutes to make sure everything was just right. She even handled an unexpected fire drill with ease, truly going to bat for her brides. Little did we know, that wouldn't be the last "fire" she'd put out for us!
As a DIY bride, some of my décor didn’t quite go as planned due to the wind. Kirin and her team were quick to jump in and fix everything, making it look beautiful. The biggest mishap of the day was our 8-foot floral arch snapping in half. Instead of apologizing and moving on, the TLC team cut the floral noodles off and attached them to a wooden arch provided by the venue, all while I continued to live my stress free life of getting pampered. She kept me updated which I also appreciated so that there were no surprises.
On top of that, Kirin's team ensured everything ran smoothly—from paying vendors and sticking to the timeline to keeping us fed, hydrated, and stress-free. They even made sure no one got too rowdy and cleaned everything up so we could simply enjoy our day. All we had to do was return the next morning to pick up our décor.
My only regret is that I only get one wedding! But for any event—whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, or anniversary—I highly recommend TLC. They are the best of the best! -

Worked with Kirin and the TLC team this past weekend. I DJ/MC'd the wedding. Everything ran smoothly. Never did her and the team give any over concerning expressions which, to me, shows that they had everything under control the entire time. On my way to the venue, Kirin informs me about the venue not having any electrical power (PG&E issue, not the venue itself). With a few text messages and a phone call, she made sure there were generators for us to use. Luckily, the power was restored before the Ceremony kicked off, but the fact that we had a back up plan was very reassuring. The team was super friendly. Hope to work with TLC again soon! -

I recently got married at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, and it was quite literally the best day of my life! My mom connected me with a lovely gal named Kirin from TLC Event Coordination and she was so wonderful to work with! I didn’t have too much of a preference when it came to the small details and overall design for the day, so I entrusted them to help make it special and magical and they did just that! All of our guests were so impressed. The planning process itself was so exciting and the actual day went off without a hitch. Kirin and TLC were the absolute best decision we made during our wedding planning process. From vendor selection, to timeline creation, to seamless event coordination – they truly made the process an absolute delight.
Starting about a year before our wedding, we met with Kirin every month to discuss the timeline and run through all our ideas. We are a very DIY couple, so we wanted to work with someone who was enthusiastic and knew exactly how to make our big dreams happen. Kirin was the absolute PERFECT person for this – she truly went above and beyond to make our dreams come true, including our robotic guestbook, bubble entrance, collaborative painting, and more! Our wedding was the best day ever and Kirin really did an incredible job making it happen. All of TLC's vendor recommendations were spot on too.
Also – Our entire family was raving about our event coordinators the next day. They kept talking about how "kind but firm" Kirin was, and how the TLC staff were true professionals.
One more note, at the end of the night Amanda reminded us to take a photo at our photobooth, otherwise we would have forgotten – it's one of our favorite pictures now! Thanks Amanda! And thank you to the whole TLC team for the perfect wedding! -

Don't think - just book. Kirin and her team saved my mental health from the chaos of wedding planning. Being engaged should *not* be a stressful thing - it should be a joyous experience! Any time I got stressed, Kirin would take on tasks to help decrease my work load. Even when I wasn't perfectly pleasant to work with because of the insanity, Kirin took it in stride and calmed me down. She wasn't just logistical support - she was emotional support. It kind of feels like she was born to do this.
As a designer, I have am pretty particular about small details. Kirin totally got this and took the time to fully understand and execute my vision. She was able to work with me on which things I would fully design, and which I needed her help on. The result was a stunning wedding that was complimented by nearly every guest - we heard multiple times that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! Even if there was a hiccup, she stepped in and took control of the situation.
She's also very sensitive to financial constraints - she recognizes how expensive weddings are and how insane some costs are. If you ever need to pick between two things, she will give you her honest opinion about whether or not something is financially worth it. Her services, however, were worth every single penny.
If I had to provide constructive feedback, it was that there were a couple miscommunications about where certain décor pieces went - but I could've done a better job of communicating this to her team beforehand. Also - there was a snag with the venue manager not showing up to our ceremony space - the venue reached out and explained they actually just forgot to send someone (yes, big mistake on the venue's part). The venue asked why no one had reached out to them when we realized they were missing - I would've, but I was getting ready and it would've been helpful if someone from TLC had called them.
Nevertheless, her insanely supportive and optimistic attitude coupled with management skills means she's an excellent planner that will make your event run smoothly and beautifully. -

Hiring Kirin and TLC Event Coordination is one of the best things we did for our wedding planning process, rehearsal and wedding day!
Our initial planning meeting was helpful in giving us the tools to know what we needed to focus on in the planning process. Kirin made herself available for spontaneous questions here and there leading up to our “month of” contract start date. When our original venue backed out 5 months from our wedding due to a burst pipe, Kirin was supportive and helpful in suggesting backup options.
Once we were a month away from the wedding date, Kirin worked efficiently to take over the reigns and coordinate seamlessly with our vendors. She and Lisette did a great job running our rehearsal and instilling calm and confidence in us and our wedding party. Kirin is a great communicator and truly cares about making your authentic vision come to life as best as she is able! She is realistic, takes feedback well, and brings a level of expertise that put us at ease on what can be a very stressful day!
On our wedding day, Kirin, Lisette, and Caitlin did an excellent job running the show behind the scenes! Each portion of the day ran smoothly and promptly, allowing me and my (now) husband to focus on being present and enjoying our experience. They got our car all packed up with decor and handled all of the end of evening tasks that we were certainly too exhausted to even consider!
Do yourselves a favor and hire Kirin and her team- you will thank yourselves later!

We had the pleasure to work with Kirin from TLC Event Coordination for a wedding this past weekend. We are a photo booth vendor and have been in the business for over 8 years - this was the most well organized wedding we have ever been a part of and we have been to hundreds of them if not more. Kirin provided all the information we needed plus more without us having to ask which was so, so helpful! From the timeline, to the venue map showing where we would setup, to providing all the other vendor names and social tags so that we didn't have to go and ask for this info. This was extremely helpful and she was also so kind! We were really pleased working with Kirin. Kirin and her team are absolutely incredible. Planning a wedding can be incredibly overwhelming, but TLC made it so straightforward and helped us understand what to expect in terms of budgets for vendors, recommendations within our budgets, timelines for what-to-do-and-when, table decorations, ordering rentals, guest tracking, processional, etc. We had the month-of coordination but felt so supported the entire time.
She is super organized and helps you stay organized, too! This was amazing during the planning period and throughout our experience with her. One thing I really appreciated is the attention to detail. I tried to order a weird number of plates/silverware and she caught it before we ordered- that definitely saved $$.
For the rehearsal and day-of she was incredible. Her assistant Lisette helped out and was really helpful. The wedding was not stressful at-all the day of and I know that is because how well taken care of we were during the whole process. You will not regret hiring them! -

Check your wedding planner off your to-do list right now. Just do it. Hire TLC. Kirin and her team are not only friendly and helpful but they are also so knowledgeable and wedding savvy. They were there to help us through each step of the process and didn’t judge us in the slightest when we didn’t have a vision for wedding floral or know which part of the place setting a “charger” was. It is not football related apparently.
Whether you know exactly what you want your wedding to look like and simply need help executing or you haven’t the slightest idea where to begin (like us), TLC will be able to guide you to your perfect wedding. They’re there when you need them, when things inevitably go awry with a vendor and are a calming voice in the sometimes chaos that comes with planning a wedding.
We couldn’t have had the most memorable night of our lives go as smoothly as it did without them. -

TLC Does it All!
Kirin at TLC saved our wedding! From the get-go, Kirin was interested in making our dream wedding come to life. Before the wedding, we had meetings with her to plan how the day would go, decor and designs, she answered all of our questions, and she gave advice on details and vendors. She is so detailed oriented and organized with everything! Two months out from our wedding, our original venue unexpectedly had to cancel on us. In a panic, we called Kirin and she already had an option A, B, and C ready to report to us as new venues. She completely calmed us down. She reached out to all her amazing connections and found us a beautiful new venue that still fit our original dream design and feel. She seamlessly adjusted to and updated all our vendors on this change. A month out, she helped to coordinate all vendor contact questions so my fiance and I could relax. The day of the wedding she was ready to set up our decorations, make sure our tables came to life, deal with vendors, and of course help us walk down the aisle. Not only is her work incredible, but she is also thoughtful, caring, fun, and organized. We cannot thank her enough for saving our wedding and making our dream day come true! -

The highlights for us as the Paella and Tapas caterer were the great organization, clear to the point communication, and cool and calm under pressure demeanor. Best wedding
TLC is amazing! We teamed up with Kirin very early on in our wedding planning, and from the start, she took care of us. I stress, and I'm a perfectionist, so having Kirin guide us along this journey was needed. She's a professional through and through and has such an eye for design and detail. By the time the wedding weekend arrived, I knew I didn't have to worry! She handled it all, and my husband and I were actually able to not only enjoy our entire wedding weekend but we felt at ease. Kirin and her crew are amazing!! She is extremely organized and task oriented. They stay cool under pressure, which was very important when I threw them a curve ball the night before the wedding. I don’t know how anyone gets through a wedding without a Kirin and a Jenna. Through the ups and downs of planning a wedding through COVID, the ladies at TLC were so supportive, responsive, and organized! The TLC team supported our wedding as month-of coordinators through our wedding venue (Reinstein Ranch), but Kirin’s support began long before. She made sure we had all the information we needed as we started searching for our other vendors, and helped us create our wedding day timeline and vision from the start.
We were just a few months away from our original wedding date when it became clear that we would need to postpone due to the pandemic. Kirin was so kind and helpful through that process, and made us feel so secure about our future celebration in such uncertain times. Fast forward a year later and we were so grateful to be able to move forward with our wedding as planned. The TLC team was always on top of the most current health and safety guidelines, and helped us talk through decisions about how we would move forward with keeping our own event as safe as possible.
Jenna was on site with us through our wedding weekend, and all of our family and friends have been raving about her ever since. She was a calm and directive presence throughout the weekend, and was stellar in handling issues and snafu’s both small (e.g., fielding vendor needs) and large (e.g., medical emergency of a wedding guest -- all is well!)

TLC did such an amazing job at our wedding, I couldn’t have asked for better help and support! We had to change our wedding plans last minute due to covid and we hired TLC to help. I seriously don’t think that it would have come together without them. Kirin was so helpful and understanding throughout the planning process. Callie and her assistant Kim were there to help us for the rehearsal dinner and day of event. Everyone did such a great job and I’m so thankful that we had such great help. It’s amazing to have someone to make sure that you don’t forget anything and give you peace of mind. Would highly recommend TLC and use them again for other events! -

What can I say, TLC is hands down the best coordination and planning company to go with. Kirin and her team are hands down the sweetest, most thoughtful people on this planet.
Kirin and the TLC crew came with my venue's wedding package, and I am grateful we ended up working together. Kirin knows how to listen to your wants and needs, but also keeps you in check on whether its doable or not. There were so many things I hadn't thought of while we were working on final layout, details etc, and if it wasn't for her I would've forgotten about so much.
Being one of the many COVID couples in 2020, we were forced to postpone from our original date of April to the end of August. Kirin was right there by my side every step of the way, she worked closely with me and the other vendors to ensure everyone was still on board and following proper guidelines. She was definitely the light in the all the darkness during this time!
Not only is Kirin amazing, her entire team is too! Our rehearsal was run so smoothly and very thorough so everyone understood what was going on. Along with the planning and coordination, you also get a train fluffer (thanks Kirin!), an incredible, supportive team that makes you feel like family.

TLC- best decision ever!!
Where to start with Kirin and the TLC team?!
Even before the pandemic Kirin was incredible. Whenever my fiancé and I disagreed on wedding details Kirin was the voice of reason that quickly helped us solve any problem. She is reliable, punctual, extremely organized, and detail-oriented and she brings a lightness and enjoyment to stressful situations.
When the pandemic hit, and we went into shelter in place 1 month before our wedding I thought I might lose my mind. From that point on Kirin helped us plan not 1, but essentially 4 different weddings! Like so many other couples, we changed our date(s), location(s), timing, guest lists, etc. and Kirin kept her cool through all of it. When we felt uncertain of plans Kirin always put our mind at ease that things were going to be okay and she was on top of it.
When we decided to have a 20-person, backyard wedding I was scared the day would not feel as special. We even discussed not using a coordinator for such a small event. But having Kirin at our little wedding was the BEST decision I have ever made (aside from marrying my husband). Even with smaller events there is so much to plan and little things that can go awry. Kirin and Craig managed the day beautifully and we were able to sit back, enjoy, and take it all in. Big shoutout to Craig who somehow managed to operate as a parking attendant, coordinator, and DJ all at once! TLC is a family business and we felt a part of that family. I can confidently say our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives and we owe a big part of that to Kirin and the TLC team. Hiring Kirin is the absolute best wedding gift you could give yourself. -

Given my husband and I are full-time managers, we opted for the full wedding planning with Kirin and I kid you not, after every monthly phone call we would always say it was worth the investment and budget. We had monthly calls with Kirin to ensure we were on track and also she was available by text/phone if we needed something urgent. Kirin was not only an amazing wedding planner, but she felt more like a close family friend, a member of the wedding party. Someone to vent to, someone to rely on, someone to ask all the tough questions and a strong liaison between all the outside forces, i.e. parents, venue, and even budget. I was even so glad I was able to refer her to my best friend's wedding in August, who she had to postpone once already. There are many behind the scenes questions or wedding nuances that we didn't know as a couple, but Kirin was able to help navigate through all of that with the vendors, plus during the pandemic! She is literally a wedding planning QUEEN and the only thing I am disappointed about is that I don't have another wedding to plan, because now my time with her is over! Her team did an amazing job and I couldn't recommend her enough. She really cares about you as a person and as a couple. When I walked out of the venue for the first time and saw everything that I envisioned executed, I was in literal tears! Kirin's attention to detail is impeccable. She brought our vision to life and could not be anymore grateful. Thank you so much Kirin, we love you!! -

We recently had the pleasure of working with TLC events at Reinstein Ranch in Livermore, CA. Kirin had reached out on behalf of the bride to plan the dessert tasting just before COVID hit. While everyone else was still figuring out next steps, Kirin kept the wedding as the focus and worked closely with us to plan out tasting and everything else till the wedding date. Kirin and her team were very organized during the event and everything looked so beautiful! She was easy to communicate with on the day of and leading up to the event. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a planner who is organized, communicative and truly loves event management. We look forward to working with Kirin and her team on future events.

For any bride and grooms-to-be planning a DIY wedding like I did, having a wedding coordination team is SO incredibly helpful, and I wouldn't recommend planning a wedding without one (if you can).
Kirin was very responsive and had lots of great advice and gave me lots of ideas/options for so many things that ultimately saved me so much time. Kirin was so easy and great to work with, and incredibly understanding and patient with my ever-changing plans due to COVID.
As a bride-to be that has never planned a wedding, there were so many things that I didn't think of, details that Kirin kept track of and off my plate, I absolutely could not have imagined my wedding (or even pulled off everything!) without Kirin and her TLC team. I am filled with gratitude that I had the pleasure of working with Kirin at TLC Event Design & Coordination for my wedding at Reinstein Ranch in Livermore, CA! I had a very DIY wedding and felt very disorganized and overwhelmed with all the details, but Kirin kept me on schedule and was quick to reply to all my questions about vendors, rentals, and timeline. As a bride-to-be, that has never planned a wedding before, it can be so overwhelming thinking about all the details, but Kirin has done this 1,000 times and always has the right answer to any question you have and is willing to patiently talk through your thinking and help you sort out the right solution.
Looking back, I cannot imagine my wedding without Kirin, not only is she an incredible wedding planner, she is also an incredible human being. I hired her for "the month of" but she invited me to reach out via text or email all along the way to talk through details or give me advice on vendors, and she always got back to me immediately. She was so generous with her time, always giving me thoughtful responses, addressing each and every part of my questions, and our phone conversations were filled with laughter and helped to ease the stress.
Kirin has almost a photographic memory when it comes to details, and even when I was giving her details in a phone meeting when she was driving, she remembered every single detail on a microscopic level. She could've worked for the CIA, but thankfully she has chosen to work for us and help us run flawless events!
My vendors were so excited when I mentioned that TLC was doing my wedding planning because they had such positive experiences before. Her team worked so hard on the day of the wedding and was nearly invisible working their magic to make sure everything happened on time and that all the vendors knew exactly what to do and when.
You are lucky if you can book TLC for your event, you will not be disappointed! -

I was the photographer for the Weaver wedding that Kirin and her team helped plan and execute. We hired Kirin for month-of coordination for our August wedding at the Presidio Officers’ Club in San Francisco. Simply put, Kirin is awesome. Hiring her was definitely one of the best decisions we made. She is super organized, personable, and has incredible attention to detail. We had a few phone calls and one venue walk-through in the months leading up to the wedding. She walked me through every single detail to consider (there were so many tiny details I was forgetting about!) and gave me great ideas on décor items and cost-saving measures. She was an excellent resource whenever I had random questions or needed advice. On the day of the wedding, she was calm and collected even when a few issues with other vendors popped up. She kept us on track with our schedule and was always very communicative. I couldn’t imagine NOT having her around that day! She and her assistant handled the set-up of all the décor and made sure everything looked exactly how I had envisioned it. After the reception ended, they also helped with packing everything that belonged to me into my car which was extremely helpful. I really didn’t have to worry about anything! We had a DIY budget wedding and we had no idea that planning a wedding would be as time consuming and detailed as it turned out to be... luckily we had Kirin, our wedding buddy who helped us coordinate almost everything! We hired TLC to coordinate the day of but also to help us plan the entire wedding and I am so glad we did! From referring us to amazing vendors, to coming up with cost effective solutions so we could stay within our budget, working with Kirin was a truly fantastic experience and she saved us a lot of money which made hiring her and her team a no brainer! Aside from being there the day of with her team to coordinate over 10 vendors and set up all of our detailed DIY creations, Kirin felt like a friend who I could pitch ideas to, call at anytime and get feedback from. I'm sad the wedding is over since I miss our phone calls and emails, ha! After interviewing many coordinators and being overwhelmed by how expensive most seemed to be, finding Kirin who not only worked within our budget and saved us money, but who also is down to earth and genuinely fun and excited to help was such a breath of fresh air. Honestly, I cannot speak highly enough about Kirin. She spent so much time on our wedding and put so much love into it- we really could not have done it without her and her team!!! THANK YOU KIRIN!!!
