TLC Bridal Boutique was by far my favorite shop when it came to shopping for my wedding dress. The bridal consultant was so much fun to work with, and she gave me ideas for dresses that I had not even considered. JJ was a life saver when it came time for my dress alteration. I had purchased my dress a few months before I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease that required a quadruple bypass. Unfortunately, the surgery left a scar that was quite visible with the V-neck of the dress. The seamstress that altered my dressed had asked if we could purchase lace from the dress designer. She had planned to turn the V-neck into a boat neck. I emailed TLC Bridal Boutique and received a response that same day. JJ was on top of contacting the designer and ordering the lace appliqué for us. The dress turned out beautifully!

Found the dress of my dreams
I cannot recommend TLC enough to anyone looking for a wedding dress! It was the best experience I could have asked for. I did the exclusive experience which meant my bridal party and I had the shop to ourselves, and food and drinks! I filled out a form stating my style preferences, then dresses were pulled for me. I tried about half on, took a break (which was great because I was able to sit, eat and talk with my bridal party) and then tried on more. I found my dress here too! It was an amazing fun experience working with JayJay who made everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and she helped me find my dream dress!!

My Perfect Princess Dress!
My wedding dress and veil from TLC Bridal Boutique were absolutely perfect! JayJay found me the princess gown of my dreams, exactly as I envisioned ever since I was a little girl, with the perfect veil to go with it! Everyone there is so incredibly kind and thoughtful, they really take the time to make sure they know what you want and work with you to find the one! Fabulous time at TLC!
I was a bit nervous about wedding dress shopping and couldn't have asked for a better experience than what I had at TLC. They had a wide array of dresses in my size (street size 16) and a bunch of different price points. When I wanted to try different things, they were happy to help and were incredibly friendly and encouraging. Even after I bought the dress and was looking at veils, they couldn't have been better to work with! I had a blast.

TLC went above and beyond when helping me find my perfect wedding dress. Pre-COVID, I had found a dress I loved in NY, but then we postponed our wedding, and I didn’t buy it. In 2021, we moved to Frederick, and I started searching for that same dress, but it was already a few years old by that point and no one had it in stock anymore. I saw on their website that TLC was a carrier of that designer, so I gave them a call without much hope. But they were able to get a loaner from the designer so that I could try it on again before buying it. They were very communicative during the entire process, so I never had to worry that they had forgotten about my request. The loaner came in, and I made an appointment to try it on, after which I had some questions about color and style options, and JayJay contacted the designer to make sure the dress would look exactly like I wanted before ordering it. Then when it came in, JayJay called me immediately because she knew I was on a tight timeline. At each of my appointments, everyone was so kind and helpful, giving me opinions and suggestions when I asked for them and taking photos for me to send to my mom and bridesmaids since I went to my appointments alone. JayJay also helped me pick out a veil and recommended an excellent seamstress for dress and suit alterations. My entire experience with TLC was perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress in the Frederick area. It is obvious that your satisfaction is their highest priority.

The only place to get your dress
TLC was a GAME CHANGER! After a disheartening appointment at a different boutique, I was apprehensive when I got to TLC. But right away JayJay made me feel so at ease. We had the best time. The Perfect Dress
TLC bridal made my wedding day awesome, by outfitting me in my dream dress! Finding a bridal shop appointment during COVID while working around my busy schedule was going to be a challenge, but Jay Jay was more than willing to work with me and to accommodate me- already, we were off to a good start! At my appointment, I had the pleasure of working with Kaylan. She was so sweet and helpful, and made me feel so comfortable at the appointment. I showed her some pictures and gave her a general idea of what I was looking for, and much to my surprise she came back with a handful of dresses that I loved. She let me decide if I wanted her to stay in the dressing room with me, and how much help I wanted- it is usually a little awkward getting mostly naked in front of a stranger but I felt completely comfortable with her. In no time at all, I found my dress. I tried it on twice as I was going back and forth. Seeing it with a veil and accessories was so helpful, as I think the whole package is what helped me to make my decision. The shop was very cute and comfortable, and they had a lot of accessories, and more than just wedding dresses. I was also told that they have a variety of sizes, I know that not every bridal shop is inclusive and it is just nice to know that TLC is an option to help everyone find their dream dress, no matter what size you might be. Kaylan helped me with scheduling and let me know when to expect my dress. I decided to sleep on it for one night, and when I woke up in the morning, I knew I had my dress. I called the shop and Jay Jay took my order and sent all the details to me over e-mail, right away. My dress was ready from the designer (Maggie Sottero) about 4 months later, and scheduling with Jay Jay was just as easy, to arrange my pickup appointment. I worked with Kaylan again upon pickup, and we tried my dress on and it was just as perfect as when I tried on the sample in store at my shopping appointment. I made the remaining 50% payment by credit card, and Kaylan and another associate had my dress all bagged and ready for me. The bag was really nice and sturdy, and I was so glad. They offered help getting to my car, but I declined. They gave me some information on dress preservation and sent me on my way. Thanks to TLC, Jay Jay, and Kaylan for helping me to find my dream dress and making me look and feel fantastic on my wedding day!

BEST dress shopping experience!
I went to two bridal shops prior to TLC and TLC honestly blew both out of the water! The staff was SUPER friendly and kind. They actually listened to what I was asking for when trying on dresses. I swear my consultant knew me better than I knew myself. She picked a dress out and asked me if I'd try it on - I didn't love it on the hanger but decided to try it on anyway. It was THE dress! I cried and all. I also am not super tiny and they had dresses that fit me/were larger than me. Other boutiques I went to I had to try to squeeze into size 6 dresses which just made me feel terrible about myself. The selection of sizes was a huge plus for this place! I had a wonderful experience with this team and would recommend them til I'm blue in the face. Awesome experience!

Made the dress shopping experience amazing!
As a professional wedding coordinator, I've referred TLC Bridal to many of my brides for their wedding dress needs! JayJay and her staff are very helpful and so fun to work with. So, when my daughter got married recently, we went there for our first dress-looking appointment and found the one! There was a tiny pull on the dress when it arrived, so they didn't waste any time and ordered a new dress for my daughter. From the trying on experience to final delivery of the dress and veil, it was a great experience for all of us. On the wedding day, she looked beautiful!!

Suzy and staff were wonderful to work with. She was attentive to detail, gave good suggestions and helped me pick the perfect dress. She listened to my ideas and guided me to the dress that looked the best on me.

I said yes to the dress at TLC Bridal! I got the mini exclusive package, which I very much recommend. The 5 people that came with me had a great time and enjoyed the refreshments. The staff were so incredible and sweet!! They really took the time to understand the style I was looking for. When I tried on THE dress, I think everyone knew it was the one. I came in looking to try on one specific dress, ended up leaving with something completely different than I had imagined but it was PERFECT in every way. The TLC Bridal was friendly and easy to work with. They made sure to stay within my budget, and convinced me to try on dresses that were outside of the shape I had initially wanted. I am so glad for that too, as I wouldn't have ended up with the dress I fell in love with if it weren't for them. Their shop is super cute, and its really easy to get to right in Downtown Frederick. Even though I live an hour away, it was well worth the drive!

Such a memorable experience!
I booked a "mini exclusive" since I was coming in from out of town and wanted a fun experience for my first bridal appointment. From the moment I walked in they were amazing. They had a mimosa ready for my support system as soon as walked in and were so incredibly flexible with my budget. Every dress that they pulled were within what I wanted to spend and let me go roam the attic (discontinued dresses for up to 50% off) and pull my own gowns to try on. I got my dress "off the rack" and was able to walk out with my dream dress for a great price. I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a wedding dress in the Maryland area!

Stop looking for the best spot to find your dress-- it is 100% at TLC Bridal Boutique in downtown Frederick! From corresponding with owner JayJay before my appointment to PICKING OUT MY GORGEOUS DRESS to coming into the shop to search for accessories, JayJay and her team (shoutout to Suzi and Sue) were nothing short of incredible. They are the most down-to-earth, fun-loving ladies you could meet and hope to hang out with as you search for "the one." JayJay and her team are knowledgeable and professional. They know how to narrow down what you're looking for, encourage you try out different styles if that's what you want to do, and are more than happy to let you go back and forth between dresses or continue your search at their shop or elsewhere (however, I'm betting that you find your dress at TLC with them). They DO NOT pressure you in any type of way, and they understand the significant investment that a bride is making when she purchases a dress. We got all of our gowns at TLC
I got my wedding gown at TLC and opted to have a private appointment (totally worth it). The ladies at TLC are so much fun and made it such a wonderful experience. After my bridal appointment, I also decided that the bridesmaids dresses would have to come from TLC too. We booked a private appointment for this as well and we had an absolute blast. The dresses were gorgeous. My mom also decided to get her dress at TLC. My mom has been struggling with her body image for years and wanted to wear something to cover herself up. The consultants helped my mom find a dress that showed off her body and made her feel beautiful. So thankful that we chose TLC!!!

THIS is the place you need to be if you want to buy a dress in the central Maryland/DC or northern VA area. Both my sister and I have both purchased our bridal gowns here, and my mom went here for her mother-of-the-bride gown. TLC Bridal is a gorgeous boutique in downtown Frederick. Their service is impeccable and the owner, Jay Jay, is an absolute pleasure to work with. We visited other bridal shops, but TLC Bridal beat all by far. They let me try on as many dresses as my heart desired, encouraging me to continue until I was certain I found the dress I wanted. I did not feel pressured in any way, which was important for me. I am seriously in love with TLC Bridal Boutique. After the tears I cried and how disgustingly unattractive a particular bridal dress chain made me feel, the ladies of TLC took me under their wings and made me feel incredible. I had a Bridal Exclusive with 2 of my bridesmaids, my Godmother, and my FMIL, and every lady said the women of TLC are magical. My consultant listened to my worries, worked with what my plans were, and we found the most perfect dress that came in under budget. I would but every outfit from them if I could, but I don't think I could afford a wedding dress every day.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience at TLC. Sondra was our consultant initially and she choose a great selection of dresses to try. She understood what I was looking for and my dress ended up being the second one I tried on! My future mother-in-law wasn't able to come to my initial appointment, so TLC allowed us to make an additional appointment so she could see me try on my chosen dress. Sondra was once again our consultant and she even grabbed some additional dresses for me to try so my mother-in-law could get the full experience! She also helped us pick a matching veil. Their new location is absolutely beautiful and allows you to have a private, comfortable experience with your family members.

TLC Bridal came highly recommended from a friend, and they did not disappoint! My initial appointment with them was fantastic - I was given so much time, and was able to try on a number of dresses, even though the third one I put on ended up being the ONE!
I also brought my bridal party here, and had a great time. All of my bridesmaids purchased from TLC, and we were referred to a great local seamstress for our alteration needs. This a gem in downtown Frederick! I only wish I had another reason to go back, but I will be referring friends here, as well. Highly recommend. Very professional and great selection! I honestly don't even know where to begin with TLC Bridal - the whole team is AMAZING! I read the reviews and requested Suzy and everything that was said was spot on. She welcomes you with so much enthusiasm. I instantly felt like I had known her for years - she was just one of those people you want to be around. She loves her job and is passionate about helping her brides. I came in with a pretty tight budget and she never once made me feel like i was just a sale. I found my dream dress for well under my budget. I am not the most comfortable person in my own skin and every single lady there complimented and lifted me up - it was honestly a better experience then i could have ever hoped for. TLC Bridal gets a 20 out of 5 stars! If you are in the area or even out of town and thinking of visiting - DO IT! Worth it!

Sondra and the TLC Bridal team were great! My mom, MOH and I made an appointment "just for fun" and (of course) ended up finding the perfect dress. Sondra and the rest of the staff were enthusiastic but not pushy and very receptive to any suggestions or requests that we had. They were very accommodating and just as great when I asked if I could drop by after my first appointment to try on the dress for my other co-MOH when she came to town a few weeks later. I highly recommend this salon and I can't wait to go back for my fitting once the dress comes in!

My time in the shop started out a little bumpy with a consultant who was more interested in her vision for my wedding than mine. When JayJay (the shop's owner) overheard a bit of the conversation, she immediately jumped in, saved my appointment, and helped me find the dress of my dreams.

What a wonderful experience with TLC. TLC was my first dress store I went to. After speaking with them that day on my wishes and dreams for the perfect dress, they went and picked out about 8-10 dresses to start me off with. Once I got to my #4 dress, I tried it on and instantly knew that this was "the one". I did be fair and tried the rest on comparing to "the one". That day I left with MY wedding dress. My maid of honor could not attend my appt for she just lost her Mom to cancer the night before and she forbid me to cancel my appt. TLC was kind enough to hold my dress at their boutique for a week so my MoH could come to the boutique and allow me to try my dress on for her in that setting (vs at home)... which then also allowed me to invite my elderly grandparents. Something I will never forget. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend them. Thank you TLC!! <3

Had the opportunity to work with Sandra November 2017 to find my wedding dress. Sandra was AMAZING and listened to me and really let me decide on what i wanted. The first dress that Sandra picked for me was the dress that i ended up going home with! She made me very comfortable and took away all of the anxiety I had about the appointment. AND she was a fellow dog lover, so I knew I was in great hands!

I had the bridal exclusive appointment at TLC Bridal Boutique and it was by far the best part of my wedding planning and also one of the best days of my life! This salon is so insanely cute and the service was incredible. I worked with JayJay and she helped me find the perfect dress. I brought 7 girls with me to my appointment and they all said they had the best time. I highly recommend this boutique and also highly recommend the bridal exclusive appointment! I had such a great experience from the moment I called to schedule an appointment to the purchase of my wonderfully perfect wedding gown! I recently came to TLC Bridal Boutique with my mom and we had an amazing experience! I am not getting married until August 4, 2018, but my mom and I thought what the heck- let's get in the wedding spirit and try on some dresses. We were pleasantly surprised when we found THE dress in just 3 short hours. TLC Bridal had a HUGE selection and our wonderful sales associate, Sandra, made the experience fun and easy. She was extremely attentive to what styles I liked and disliked, and ultimately, the dress I fell in love with was one that she picked out! She didn't rush us at all, which we really appreciated and she also didn't try to convince me on buying any one dress. In fact, when my mom and I said THIS IS THE ONE! she suggested we try on other dresses that I had set aside as keepers. Very, very happy with our experience and would recommend this place to anyone for a beautiful, AFFORDABLE, dream wedding dress!! I may even come back with my bridesmaids for a bridesmaids dress showing/party :) Thanks Sandra!!!

The entire experience was perfect from beginning to end. I wish I could give TLC 100 stars because they deserve every single one! I was dreading wedding dress shopping and had gone to another Frederick store and had a less than pleasurable experience. The minute I walked into TLC and saw my name on the board (after making a last minute same day appointment!) I knew TLC would be different, and as soon as I met Suzi I was immediately at ease. Suzi had my try on a bunch of different styles of dress, had me laughing and felt like an old friend in no time. She eased my body consciousness and listened to my likes and dislikes about each dress I tried on. Sleeves were a must for me and even though I didn't find one with sleeves, Suzi helped me find the perfect dress where I could have a seamstress add them. She knew exactly how much extra lace and material I would need to order. When I took it to the seamstress and realized I forgot to order lining because I didn't want illusion sleeves I called Suzi right away in a panic. Suzi went above and beyond to help. The dress had been discontinued since I bought it and TLC didn't have the floor sample in my color. Suzi and JJ called around to find another store where they would cut the lining off the bottom of the sample dress. They had the fabric I needed within 3 days!
JJ and Suzi are amazing women and truly want every bride to feel beautiful on their wedding day and will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens!

I purchased by bridal gown at TLC during their Spring sale in 2016. Suzi helped me to find a sale gown, since I had a tight budget and I didn't even want to look at any of the new full price gowns. I found the most gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown on sale that wouldn't have even been in my price range had it not been on sale. Their shop is beautiful, and Suzi was so knowledgeable not only about the gowns but also about alterations and more. I highly recommend TLC to any bride and her group!

TLC Bridal Boutique was the first and only place that I shopped for my wedding dress. I didn't come in with much direction and was willing to try on different styles, but Sue was very quickly able to narrow down the choices to things that I looked good in and loved. I tried on approximately 10 dresses in total, but ended up going with the third dress that she pulled for me. I also happened to have my appointment on Black Friday and, so, will be able to reap the benefit of a discounted accessory whenever I go back to pick up the dress. My only negative would be that they don't do alterations in-house, so brides must find their own tailor if the dress needs any alterations. Overall, great experience and worth checking out!

I am very happy with TLC Bridal Boutique and am so happy I chose to get my wedding gown there! They made wedding gown shopping fun and less stressful! They know their stuff! :-) I originally went online and checked different bridal boutiques before choosing TLC. I loved that it was a small boutique where they can provide you with individual attention. When I called to make the appointment, the lady was super friendly and helpful on the phone. She was able to work with my schedule and get me an appointment within the timeline I needed. Once we arrived, they were very friendly and took us back to our own area of the boutique where we would have individual help. We were given Sue to help and she was fantastic. She made sure to get me a variety of dresses to try on so I could see which ones I liked best. She was very accommodating and helpful. She listened to me and paid attention to the little details that I shared about what I liked and didn't like. She never tried to push me to make a sale and didn't push more expensive gowns. As we got closer to the style that I liked best, she made sure she picked dresses that fit what I was looking for. She took her time and gave us her full attention. We had a great time and it made the day memorable and fun! I would highly recommend TLC Bridal Boutique!

The ladies at TLC Boutique are amazing. I went for my first official look at dresses and had not planned on finding "the" dress that day. However after showing the ladies the types of dresses I was interested in, BAM dress number 3 that I tried on was IT! Great pricing, and my dress even came earlier than expected! To top everything off, I ended up getting pregnant about 5 months before the wedding and was quite concerned about finding the right alterations person. The local woman they suggested was PERFECT and ensured that my dress fit perfectly for my day. Could not be happier with my entire experience!

Everyone who worked with me at this beautiful shop was so helpful, they listened to what my style was and were able to help me find the perfect dress and I couldn't be happier with it, love the ladies at TLC!!

Jayjay and her team were absolutely wonderful! I was very picky in what I wanted and had a budget I wanted to stick by. I kept looking everywhere for the right dress and went to multiple stores with no luck! Finally I reached out to TLC Bridal Boutique and spoke with Jayjay! She was super energetic when I met her and reassured me that WE would find what I was looking for!
Throughout the entire process Jayjay and her team were extremely helpful! I am very appreciative with how much they assisted me and did not turn me away. I finally had my one of a kind dress and LOVE IT! On wedding day, compliments just kept coming!

I recently visited TLC Bridal Boutique and could not be more pleased with the service and the selection of wedding gowns. The setting of the shop is amazing and provides a truly intimate feeling for your friends and family. By the end of the appointment I felt like the ladies of the shop had become a part of my crew! Separate from the shop and environment, the ladies that work there are incredibly knowledgable about their dresses. I had an idea in mind of what I was looking for, but the stylist knew what would look best on my shape and I actually walked away with a completely different style. I feel so beautiful in this dress and can't wait for my wedding day. Thank you TLC Bridal Boutique...I would highly recommend your service to any bride!

This was a great experience ! I was so nervous to try on dresses but they were flexible and patient. I found a gorgeous dress that was a bit out of budget and they worked with me until we were both comfortable !!!! Can't wait to wear it !!!

Staff is great. I had no idea what I wanted and they made me feel comfortable. I didn't have a time for alterations and had to buy off the rack which was a great experience. Feels like the tv show say yes to the dress except your budget can be reasonable. Not all of us have 5-10 grand to spend on a dress.

I found the TLC boutique to be exactly what I was looking for in my wedding dress hunt! The staff was very kind and helpful and listened to what I was looking for. I found my dress there and it was in my budget. I would highly recommend this venue for buying your wedding dress!

What a wonderful, personal and focused team of ladies that attended to me at TLC! I even brought in a dress I had already bought and they had me try it on first thing to get a reminder of how I looked and felt in it. It was so wonderful, because it was just me and the ladies who worked there along with my mother and sister who I brought along with me. They had only the eyes and time for me and finding the kind of dress I wanted. It was such a fantastic experience, they paid attention to exactly what I did and did not want in a dress, and lucky for me I found my dream dress! I would recommend this wonderful boutique over and over again!

Great service. Very friendly! I wasn't particularly looking forward to getting a wedding dress, but they made the experience as fun and relaxing as possible. Also, they were accommodating of my wedding timeframe and need to get a dress sooner rather than later. Lastly, they had a great approach for finding the right dress, since I didn't know what I wanted. Thank you for all your help!

I did the Bridal exclusive so I could have my mom and all my bridesmaids come. I recommend doing this!! You get to have the place to yourself and it's a fun day with your favorite people. JJ listened to what I wanted and the first dress I tried on was the dress I got! She is great!!

The girls at TLC are wonderful. They are friendly and give that special personal touch to help you find your perfect dress. We bought the bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dress there also. I had the best experience at TLC bridal!!! I learned after calling a few bridal shops that in wedding dress designer world I was last minute. I called TLC bridal and Jay Jay gave me an appointment the same day. My appointment was with Suzy. I walked into a cute and cozy shop and had a personalized appointment. Suzy heard all my comments about being last minute and she instantly eased my fears and told me I was right on time and I had options. From that moment on I had the wedding dress appointment I had dreamed of. Suzy listened to everything I said and wanted while also giving some insight. She is clearly experienced and loves her job. She watched my reactions to every dress I tried on which lead her to find the dress I picked and LOVE!!! You have to make this one of your stops.....I still can't believe it was my one and only stop.

I had a surprise bridal exclusive appointment and had the salon all to myself and my bridal party for 3 hours!! !
It was so fun and we had snacks and drinks!
Staff was fun and professional and helped me find "the dress" !!

Susie was the associate helping me find my wedding dress. She was so great and fun. When my mom and I told her my budget she pulled dresses within that budget and if one was higher she asked before pulling it. The experience she gave us was amazing. I ended up falling in love with a dress a little higher than my budget but I took my dress right off the rack since nothing was wrong with it and it fit perfectly, in doing that she gave us a discount which was right in the budget! I couldn't say enough good things about TLC and the experience they gave me that day. Highly recommend it

The ladies at TLC Bridal Boutique are AMAZING! They made us feel like family and dealt with my moms weird requests. Haha. The appointment could not have gone smoother! I am very self conscious, but they made me feel so comfortable. This was the first place I went to, to try on dresses and I found my dress there! I HIGHLY recommend TLC Bridal Boutique. I'm taking my bridesmaids there to get their dresses as well. Very affordable, wonderful customer service, and overall a fun time!

TLC is a lovely small Bridal Boutique that has a very extensive selection. It was wonderful to have such s knowledge staff. It was terrific to have gowns to small sizes to select from. JJ and her staff were fantastic to work with.
