If you're on the fence about hiring Tim, just go ahead and do it!! He is kind, responsive, professional, friendly, and easygoing. Not only do we love and cherish the engagement + wedding photos that he took, we also had a great time with him! He really knows how to get "the shot," in an unobtrusive way, while putting everyone at ease. It feels like working with a friend. He has a great sense for what will look good and will suggest some key minor tweaks, while still letting you lead the vision. I've now been a part of three different galleries of Tim's work and they were all TOP NOTCH! Five stars all the way!! -

Look no further!
I am so happy I found TimTab Studios! The best wedding planning advice I was given was to work with a great wedding photographer and I made sure I worked with the best! While I was living in Florida, I phone interviewed 10+ Chicago wedding photographers and knew Tim was the right person for the job after we chatted on the phone. He was so personable and listened to our wedding day vision. His wedding packages were perfect for our needs and he was able to add on a couple of things we requested. The first time we met was for our engagement shoot and he was amazing to work with! He made us feel so comfortable and kept us genuinely laughing throughout the entire shoot. I am definitely a detail oriented bride and Tim was able to capture the perfect moments between us. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, our big wedding celebration was postponed. However, Tim was still able to work with us and offer services for our small 11-person wedding in July. That day went by so fast! Before the wedding I sent him a list of pictures I thought would be great to capture and he made sure we captured those shots at our wedding. Tim made sure we always looked our best and offered great stylistic recommendations. My family greatly enjoyed working with Tim and loved seeing the wedding pictures he took on our wedding day. TimTab Studios is so wonderful and very professional to work with! I highly recommend Tim to all wedding couples looking for gorgeous and timeless wedding pictures that you’ll cherish forever! Our big wedding celebration is in 2022 and we can’t wait to work with Tim again. I know I’ll be working with him in the future to capture other life milestones! Thank you, Tim! -

OH my gosh. Okay okay I got married April 7, 2019. I'm a wedding photographer. We hit up Tim and Bethany in a second, thank GOODNESS they had our date open.
Stop what you're doing on your research for a photographer right here. Look no further. Tim and Bethany are STELLAR and a half, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Amazing friends, and somehow as good if not better photographers. They care. SO creative. (I want to steal so many of their ideas) They were another one of our crew in half a second. I'm telling you, your search ends now. Period. Just book them before it's too late I feel like they book nine years in advance now. Good luck. -

It was such a pleasure to have Tim and Bethany as our photographers for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Not only did the pictures turn out perfect, but they also ensured our wedding day was stress-free. When our transportation was significantly late, they rolled with the punches and managed to still get every photo we wanted in each location while maintaining a sense of calm and confidence that helped us not worry. They delivered a set of preview photos within a few days of the wedding which was so exciting to see and share with our guests long before we thought we’d be able to. Overall, I would recommend Tim & Bethany to anyone knowing they are so talented, kind, and fun to work with! Thank you for making our wedding day even more perfect. -

Tim and Bethany are a dream come true and truly some of the best people we have ever worked with. Starting with our engagement photos, Tim worked with us to find the perfect locations and made sure we were completely comfortable for the first session. We didn’t know what to expect going in, but it was such a fun day and the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous! He seriously thinks of everything and takes some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. He captured our happiness and excitement perfectly at the time of our engagement.
Organizing and planning for the wedding day with Tim was also extremely easy, he is super responsive and easy to work with! Also, aside from amazing photos, early in our planning process he gave us some vendor recommendations – many of which we ended up also working with who were equally as amazing.
For the main event, our wedding, Tim and Bethany truly went above and beyond. We were working with a tight timeline which included a first look with the groom, my dad, and my bridesmaids as well as two different getting ready locations, and a large wedding party. None of this phased them at all – our timeline was managed perfectly while still getting all the photos we wanted. They also helped us pick the perfect locations for our photos – the Ambassador balcony for our first look and a park for additional pictures that allowed us to be by the lake/city, and still close enough to the ceremony location. Tim and Bethany were also snapping pictures when we didn’t even know it! We have so many special photos of memories we didn’t even expect, like crossing the street to the church with my sister holding my dress and my sister helping my mom with her dress. They worked flawlessly throughout the event, and I hardly even knew they were there! Tim also made sure I got all the different friend shots I wanted and worked with my sister to round everyone up!
I look at our wedding portfolio at least twice a day and I will never get over how perfect the photos are. Thank you again Bethany and Tim for capturing our perfect day and us so magically! We will cherish these memories forever.

There aren’t enough words to explain how much we loved Tim and Bethany!!! We had them do our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding – all of the photos were absolutely stunning. They managed to capture every moment perfectly and their photos embodied all of the emotions at each event. They got shots I hadn’t even known I had wanted/needed that completely blew me away when we saw the final portfolio. They brought back memories I didn’t even know I had, made everyone look beyond gorgeous and brought to life the most heart-warming and funniest parts of the evening. Photos aside, they made all three events so much fun while they were shooting – my husband and I instantly felt comfortable with both of them and were sure of ourselves/natural when photos were taken because of their expert guidance. Their professionalism and communication went above and beyond what we could have asked for. They listened to what mattered to us in the photos and executed accordingly, providing excellent recommendations for locations/poses along the way. I truly don’t think you can find a better photographer – I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone!!! -

They are not only fun and great to work with, but professional, kind, and give awesome guidance on how to make the pictures the best they can be! Jenna Sent on 06/03/2018The fact that we picked our wedding date around Tim and Bethany's availability basically says it all! We were first recommended by two of my sister-in-law's friends that used Tim Tab for their own weddings and then after meeting them in person, we knew there was no point in searching further or meeting with other photographers. Tim and Bethany are easy-going and the most delightful to work with. Their chill yet organized vibe is exactly what we wanted (and needed!) on our wedding day. Our photos came out absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier with the end results! The compliments continue to roll in to this day.

User1313389 Sent on 09/03/2013The fact that my brother, my sister, two best friends, and I have all used Tim to photograph our five different weddings over the past couple years should speak volumes to the talent, professionalism and just general photographic awesomeness of Tim and his company.
My husband and I work in film and TV, and we knew we wanted a more documentary style of photography of our wedding day. We don't like posing, and Tim did an amazing job of making us so comfortable and just capturing the FUN moments all day. The photos are gorgeous, and I especially love how his second photographer captured my parents and friends in moments where I wasn't present during the day. It was so fun to see those images later and experience those parts of the events.
He got some really classic shots while at the same time experimenting with light and settings that he found on the fly in the few locations around our church and reception venue. This resulted in an amazing mix of put-this-in-a-frame-immediately-to-give-to-all-relatives photos and some I-don't-even-know-what-to-do-with-this-it's-so-beautiful-Is-that-beautiful-person-me?-this-should-be-in-a-magazine shots.
As for Tim's flexibility, I can't say enough. We didn't have time to do an engagement shoot, so Tim graciously worked with us to add hours onto his shoot time on the wedding day. He also stopped by our rehearsal dinner and took us outside to do a spontaneous shoot with just the two of us, resulting in some of my favorite photos showing our excitement the night before the wedding.
Friends and family were floored when they saw the photos, and I had a ton of requests for Tim's information after my photos came back and we shared them. Also, his turnaround time to get the photos back to us was a MONTH. I was shocked, since I expected the process to take a couple months at least based on other friend's experiences with their photographers.

Tim Tabailloux has a unique combination of creativity, professionalism and people skills that make for a rare find in a wedding photographer. My husband and I chose Tim because our photos took a top priory for us and we wanted to get them just right. And we weren't disappointed! Our stunning photos help us relive a day that went by way too fast.

We wanted a photographer who took more artistic photos and captured moments rather than a bunch of posed family shots. We were very comfortable around him and he really got some great shots that will help us remember this whole experience even better. Definitely worth the money! -

He captured our day in such a genuine, beautiful, and creative way. All of the photos expressed so much of who we are as a couple- which is the beauty of a keen eye in an artist. Meagan Sent on 09/21/2011My husband and I had a great time with Tim on our Big Day! He was easy to be comfortable around and was great at making us feel special. He even brought along a photographer friend of his for good measure, which made me even more confident that not a single detail would be missed.
In the beginning, I was one of those brides who had nightmares about all her vendors showing up late (or not showing up at all) on the day of, and when I admitted this to Tim he was quick to reassure me that he'd be there no matter what!
We absolutely love our wedding pictures and get compliments on them ALL. THE. TIME. I can't wait to print them!!! Thanks, Tim!!!
