Dee from Tide The Knot was our coordinator. She was incredible. From helping get everything planned to the day of execution, she and her team were spectacular. They were flexible, responsive and did everything perfectly. Our beach wedding was organized and executed very professionally. There were hiccups of course. There was rain and a red flag storm warning on our wedding day but it was well managed and when the storm passed we were able to have our wedding on the beach. They made sure everything was ready to go (and the chairs were dried) just in time. I would recommend them for anyone planning a beach wedding! -

We recently had our wedding in Madeira Beach and I am truly blown away by Tide the Knot! The ceremony was better than I could have ever imagined. When hosting a ceremony on the beach there are so many moving parts and as the bride I can say that Tide the knot truly made me feel so confident and prepared. I got to just show up, on my day, and everything was perfect! Huge shoutout to Laura and everyone else with TTK. I highly recommend to anyone looking for their beach wedding! -

Our wedding was beautiful! At the last minute we had to change the location due to a hurricane coming through the week before. It was stressful trying to figure out what to do but they made it happen! Very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend! -

Dream Wedding
The best company to work with for a stress free wedding process. They were always quick to answer any questions I had. The staff is friendly and helpful with every step along the way. They truly care about giving you the wedding day of your dreams. Everything turned out perfect and everything was exactly how I had pictured it to be. Dream wedding
Talk about a dream beach wedding without the stress! TTK truly does it all. The take the stress and anxiety out of planning a destination wedding, which was much needed for a bride like myself coming from WI! All you had to do was choose what you wanted and they were able to make it happen! Yenesis was who we had the day of and she was fantastic! The day went absolutely seamlessly, which we were all nervous because they were calling for rain all week and even the day of! I cannot thank TTK enough for making the day so special, beautiful, and memorable for myself, my NEW husband, and guests! -

Tide the Knot did an amazing job coordinating our special day on the beach. Throughout the whole process, they were extremely responsive, helpful, and dedicated to executing our vision.
We hired a separate photographer and officiant, so we cannot speak on the ones provided through Tide the Knot.
Everything else was through Tide the Knot, and it was a dream come true. From decorations, to flowers, to the live musician - it was absolutely amazing. Once we started working with them, the stress of wedding planning went away. We knew we were in good hands, and they made everything very easy and straightforward for us. We would gladly recommend Tide the Knot to anyone considering a beach wedding.

Tide the Knot made our wedding day absolutely perfect and were the most amazing people to have plan our big day! We live in Illinois so everything was planned virtually and when we showed up to the beach, our vision was captured in the best way! Everything looked so great and I wouldn't have changed anything. We got married at sunset at Siesta Key beach and I can't rave enough about how lovely it turned out. They were so helpful with any questions we had leading up to it and even throughout wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Tide the Knot and their crew. Being a female-female couple, my wife and I wanted to ensure that the company we chose was accepting of our love. From our first conversation with Dan, our minds were immediately at ease and decided after reading the reviews that Tide the Knot was our top choice. Planning a wedding in Florida while living in Connecticut was stressful. We never saw the beach or the venue and we were going off of pictures and reviews we found online.
During our initial planning sessions with Laura and approximately 5,000 emails with questions, we planned the wedding of our dreams. We chose the West Side Affair package including a sunset ceremony on Madeira Beach and then a reception across the street at the West Events. The pictures looked beautiful, but we were still worried that it would live up to the expectations that we formed in our minds. Then, Laura handed us over to Tristen and Cori who are PHENOMENAL! I'm pretty sure I emailed them every day with last minute questions and changes and they were always responsive, reassuring, and overall fantastic. They made our vision of our dream beach wedding come to life and I am so appreciative of them!!! (Not to mention they were so fun, too!) Cori made sure that my hair was never out of place for our beach pictures and Tristen made sure that my cup was always full at our reception! (She even joined me for a quick dance on the dance floor)!
Tide the Knot is like a well-oiled machine and everyone was so relaxed and professional that it made our day even more special.
10/10 would recommend!!!! -

Tide the Knot!
How do I begin to write this review as there are so many wonderful things, I can say about our experience with Tide the Knot on our wedding day. From the beginning to the end of our event, it was like walking through a fairy tale, it was pure perfection with the help from all who were involved with making our dream come true.
Keith and I were dating in the 80's and as life would have it, we went our separate ways for about 40 years only to find when we reconnected our love for each other was so much stronger years later. As someone who has been in the wedding business for 50 years, I wanted something so much different than the norm. Upon my 1st phone call to Tide the Knot when we made the decision to be married on the beach in Florida I spoke with Dan...it was THAT phone call when I knew this was the place, we were going to use to put our beach wedding together. I did not look any further, we choose this company, and it was over all the BEST choice ever!
Every single person involved with Tide the Knot made our dream wedding come true, it was nothing short of incredible, amazing, beautiful, so much so I think we were even shocked at the perfection, like they just knew what we would want.

Wow! I can not say enough about how wonderful the services were that my husband and I received ! Everyone was so hospitable and very professional. We had the most gorgeous wedding ever. Everyone always says, "Oh, I wish this was different or I wish this would have happened" but I can't say that! Everything was perfect! Everyone I spoke with was very responsive to my emails and questions and made sure everything was how we wanted it. Yenesis did a superb job coordinating everything and put my worries at ease; she's very patient, efficient and delightful. Katti really worked hard at setting up everything too! She really hustled ! Ed the guitarist, was amazing. Everyone commented on how nice the music was before during and after the ceremony. Jaimi was our photographer; loved her sense of humor and demeanor! We can't wait to get our pictures back! Lisa, the owner, is very professional and a delight to work with as well! Hands down the best day ever! Thank you TTK for making our fairytale a reality ! -

TTK Beach Weddings - Simply the Best!
My husband and I were recently wed on Sunset Beach Treasure Island with the help of Tide the Knot Weddings & Events! The entire process was so simple, and the day took our breath away. Everything was incredibly beautiful - from the beach, to the arbor, to the flowers, to the cake. SUCH A DREAM! We could not have been happier with our experience.

My now husband & I were engaged June of 2019. We had set a date for March 25th 2020 to get married in Siesta Key. The end of February beginning of March the pandemic hit. I was so determined we were still going to have a wedding. The week before our wedding we came to the conclusion to cancel & pick a new date. My heart was so broken but Tide the Knot completely understood. My husband & I picked a date that all worked out with family & we were ready to roll . . . August 26th of 2020. The summer came & due to family personal reasons we had to set a new date. I know what you all are thinking . . . A third date? Why not just get married back at home or the court house. I was bound & determined that we were getting married on a beach in Florida on Siesta Key. New date October 2021. Tide the Knot had no problem letting us pick a new date. We hardly made any changes to flowers or decor. Cori our wedding coordinator was absolutely AMAZING she listened to all of our wishes for our special day. She took the time to deliver our flowers a few hours early so we had them for our getting ready photos. She hooked us up with livestream for family that wasn’t able to attend. She made the “Big Day” so easy. No stress what so ever. She was simply the best. I would 10/10 highly recommend Tide the Knot for your Wedding & if you can ask for Cori as your wedding Coordinator. -

Cristi was our wedding coordinator on June 14, 2021 that day on the beach in Siesta Key!! She was a doll, so sweet, so upbeat, and just very pleasant to work with. She made our day stress-free taking care of details and walking us through, and even made us feel better when assuring us everything was fine and we could adjust start times to wait for the storm that blew through earlier. Our micro wedding turned out beautiful and perfect. We were so so thankful to have chose this company. We planned a destination wedding (we live in PA) & we unfortunately had to postpone 2x due to the pandemic. The Tide team was incredible. They were helpful, flexible and made us feel more at ease with everything (I was so stressed from replanning twice so this was much appreciated). When it was finally time for our wedding, they made sure everything went perfectly. I honestly had so much fun at my wedding & am obsessed with the photos we got from their photographer. The Tide team (their planners, photographers & owner Lisa... all fabulous to work with). If you're looking to plan a gulf beach wedding, this is your company! I also recommend booking on Sunset beach & renting the beach pavilion through the city if you are into that kind of space for a reception. We did that, rented a taco truck & it was legit the most fun wedding! 10/10 to Tide!! -

As the mother of the bride planning most of the wedding with my daughter, we could not have been happier with how beautiful my daughter's wedding on Pass-A-Grille Beach in St. Pete Beach Florida turned out. The staff of Tide the Knot were wonderful to work with during the planning stage and on the wedding day. All we had to do was show up and everything was ready for us. They are a very organized and professional group of people. The wedding site was gorgeous, the Pastor did a great job along with the photographers. All of our guests raved about how beautiful and personal the wedding was. I highly recommend using Tide the Knot Beach Weddings as you will not regret it. -

Tide the Knot was an absolute joy to work with! We got married on Pass-A-Grille Beach in November of this year. Everyone we spoke with over the phone and via email was professional, extremely helpful, and so nice. We had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic, and the staff at Tide the Knot were so understanding and kind about it. We were very impressed with our beautiful beach set up and even more impressed with how stress-free the whole process was. Our guests loved the ceremony, the steel drummer was a huge hit, and our photographer took breathtaking photos! If you are thinking about a beach wedding in Florida, do yourself a favor, and reach out to Tide the Knot! I highly recommend this fantastic company!! -

Will recommend for years to come
WOW!!! I wish we could leave a 10 star review. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company. We live in Ohio, and planning a wedding in Florida had both my husband and I stressed out (especially during a pandemic!). A friend recommended this company, and I initially blew her off assuming it would be WAY above our budget. We quickly discovered that Tide the Knot takes care of pretty much EVERYTHING and for such a great price. Crazy type A bride and very particular groom spoke with the owners on multiple occasions, and any questions or concerns we had were always immediately answered and taken care of. The day of the wedding was absolutely flawless. I was able to relax and enjoy every second of my day thanks to Tide the Knot. Lisa was absolutely phenomenal coordinating and directing everyone, Stephanie, our photographer...WOW. She was amazing. Our officiant, Heath, was so fun and funny and charismatic. Every person that attended the ceremony raved about what a great job he did. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous, they went out of their way to coordinate all of our floral requests (we had a lot - and again, you can NOT beat the pricing!!). Following the ceremony, they cleaned everything up while my husband and I had our pictures taken, and everything was done and taken care of in what seemed like just minutes. Every employee was kind and went out of their way to congratulate us and make sure that we did not need anything else before actually leaving the site.
If you’re considering doing a destination wedding in Florida, I promise you that you will not find a better, more professional company! I HIGHLY recommend Tide the Knot for any bride (and groom) that wants to have a stress free, beautiful, and flawless wedding day. I will absolutely be recommending this company to anyone and everyone in the future! Thank you all so much!!!

Tide the Knot from start to finish made our dream wedding so easy. Everything they do is top of the line without emptying your wallet. They made our dream day so perfect. We literally just showed up and everything was taken care of. All we had to do was walk down the aisle, say I do and live happily ever after. The coordinators were super easy to work with and very accommodating. The photographer was off the charts amazing. The guitarist was flawless. The décor, top notch! The florist took my breath away with her work. I gave her an example, told her my colors, and she did a fantastic job as well! Literally have ZERO complaints! The weather was perfect, the location was perfect, just everything. I am incredibly happy I chose this company to handle our dream day. No regrets whatsoever! -

Went above and beyond
My original wedding plans were cancelled due to COVID and I had to alter my plans and chose to go with Tide the Knot. They were extremely accommodating and responsive and always willing to have a phone call to discuss anything. OK, so the Covid-19 situation changed a LOT of our plans -- not just ours but for everyone. I cannot say enough positive praise for how Tide The Knot worked with us. They stayed in touch all along the way. We looked at alternate plans. But then, when the Governor and local cities all declared the beaches would be closing and we were all under "stay-at-home" orders, I called and talked with Lisa and we came up with a last minute plan.
We already had the marriage license and if we didn't use it soon, it would expire and then we'd have to go through that time and expense again. Yes, we knew we were going to have to postpone the beach festivities. But Lisa was so kind and gracious that we did not have to put off getting married!
So, the evening before the lockdown went into effect, we drove down to St. Pete, and Lisa was willing to meet us at a local park and perform our ceremony - just the three of us. We talked about the meaning of our marriage and made a deep, significant commitment to each other. It was beautiful - maybe even better than our original plans....
Alright, No, the beach at sunset would have been better, but you know what? Sappy emotions aside, WE'RE MARRIED and nothing will ever change that. Sure, we're going to come back latter on once all this has settled down, and Lisa and her team will still give us our dream ceremony on the beach with beautiful pictures.
But we will be forever grateful that a business owner, put aside her own personal time and did something for us that was so personal and meaningful.

(From the Husband) - Now that the wedding is over and spent my honeymoon with my soulmate and back real life for a few weeks now, I wanted to take a moment to thank Tide the Knot, not just from a business point of view, but personally to each and every single person we had the pleasure meeting and or talking to. Tide the Knot turned what can be one of the most anxiety-ridden days of a person’s life and made it stress free for her and I alike. They made sure that everything we wanted for our wedding day was taken care of. I'm not sure how my wife found this Company, but I am delighted she did. We live a couple thousand miles away from where were married so of course we went down with several companies that we wanted to check out along with figuring out where on the beach we wanted to be married. We visited a several "unnamed wedding planner companies" previously to Meeting with Tide the Knot.....Night and Day difference. Lisa, you are the reason we chose Tide the Knot. You made us feel welcome, like family. To put it simply, you impressed me with your professionalism, yet down to Earth personality. Your staff were warm and welcoming along with being engaged with our conversations. The follow through and attention to details were impeccable. There were no pressures to sign contracts or up-sell to something we didn't want. Every one of the details of my wedding were absolutely PERFECT. When I asked my guests what they thought of the wedding, they raved about it, and always ended saying, "It was just perfect." "Best wedding I've ever been to." Besides all of the simple, yet beautiful decor and set up, the staff was also really awesome. They made both my fiance and myself very calm and comfortable. The officiant created a very romantic, yet light, atmosphere everyone enjoyed. I only made my personal selections, (including every song which really made the ceremony personal and special), and then everything was exactly as I imagined it once I showed up. The photographer was also wonderful, and her photos were AMAZING. I looked at a lot of different "beach wedding" companies and packages, and found others that were cheaper. We just wanted a small ceremony, and didn't want to spend much. We just wanted it simple, beautiful, and romantic. No frills or a big show. We already have kids and were paying for it ourselves. BUT I am SO happy we paid a little extra for the most beautiful day we could not have even imagined. If you look closely at the photos, there is a huge difference between TidetheKnot and the others, and it was so very very worth it for us to pay a little more for the most perfect day.

The perfect elopement!
Words cannot express how unbelievably satisfied my new husband and I are with the fantastic work that the team at Tide the Knot Beach Weddings put into our special day! We chose to elope, just the two of us on 8/13/18. The "Minimalist Bliss" package was the perfect choice for us, and the team was incredibly helpful, prompt, friendly, and accommodating from the very start! Every detail from the flowers, to the officiant, and THE PHOTOGRAPHY was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! We wanted a very intimate, personalized ceremony, that was stress free, and that is EXACTLY what we received! The team at Tide the Knot made every request a reality with no problem at all! The best part, we just SHOWED UP to the most perfect ceremony we could have asked for. The definition of STRESS FREE! We are from Ohio, and had planned on getting married on Siesta Key Beach, a place that we had vacationed many times before. Unfortunately we had some concerns upon arrival about the "Red Tide" that had overtaken the beautiful beach we know and love. Tide The Knot eased our worries and made the transition to Pass-A-Grille Beach seamless and painless just a few days before our ceremony and made our dream wedding come true on a beach that was perfect! Lastly, but most certainly not least, the photographer was INCREDIBLE! Even though we were eloping, we wanted to make sure our photos (that tell the story to our families and last forever) were beautiful. Let me tell you, we were blown away by the professionalism, talent, and ability to make you feel comfortable our wedding photographer had! My husband, who hates having his picture taken was completely comfortable, and the pictures show it! We love EVERY SINGLE ONE! she captured the day perfectly! We got married last year at Passé Grille Beach St Pete. Being in the U.K. and having our wedding abroad made us feel a bit nervous. Tide The Knot instantly put us at ease. They took care of everything, were absolutely professional in all matters and were flexible to our needs. Wonderful options for decorations, no pushy sales and just made us feel so relaxed and happy in the day. -

In August of 2017, James and I met the team at Tide the Knot, after much research for beach wedding ceremony companies. We were in Florida for vacation from Ohio anyway so it was great that they were available to meet. I loved what they had to offer and how kind and accommodating they were from the start. They sat and met with us and discussed what we were looking for and we felt very comfortable with everything we were able to get from them for one cost. A few months later we booked things and at that time they sent over a checklist to really narrow down what we wanted. That was super helpful! They were prompt and quick to respond anytime I emailed them for help or questions. Fast forward to our big day. We chose Anna Maria Island after we fell in love with visiting it. At the end of July 2018, before we left Ohio to come down, I had messaged them to see what the plan was due to red tide. They assured me everything was going to be fine, but they were having a meeting about a backup plan in case. We were married on Tuesday August 7, 2018, and I had a huge meltdown on Monday and Tuesday morning when I woke up, because I started hearing about fish dumpsters being placed in the areas we were going to be and then the fish were washing up etc. so I contacted them Tuesday morning to see what the plan was and Lisa called me back and assured me it will work out. They will still marry us and make everything beautiful and perfect and THATS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID. After I got off the phone with Lisa on Tuesday morning I felt confident and assured they were going to do anything they could for us. Thankfully, red tide was basically non existent Tuesday thanks to change in wind direction etc but it was awful Monday and weds and especially today. So long story short- Tide the Knot is professional, trustworthy, and simply put, AMAZING. Everyone from Dan (our day of coordinator) to Elaine, (the photographer) to Lauren (the officiant) and Lisa easing my nerves as I was panic stricken, they are a class act wedding business and we couldn’t have asked for more! Not to mention, our sneak peek just came in and we am overwhelmed with joy! Thank you Tide The Knot for everything you did for us! We will forever be grateful for you! I would recommend this company to everyone that asks about a wedding company in the St Pete, Tampa, Sarasota area.

Tide the Knot is amazing! We are from Illinois and had our wedding on Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, FL. Tide the Knot handled all of the details and made everything easy on our end. I love how everything is included in the package, especially being out of town, it made finding a photographer, officiant, and florist easy because they supplied it all. I was even able to have the ceremony flowers in to-go mason jars that we used for our centerpieces at the pavilion which was located right off the beach. We received our sneak peek photos in less than a week, and we are so in love with how the pictures turned out. I would highly recommend Tide the Knot. They are quick to respond and detail oriented. Even though I did not see the set up for the ceremony until I walked down the aisle, I was confident it would look exactly how I imagined it to be. It you want a beautiful, stress free wedding, hire Tide the Knot. We could not be more pleased with how our wedding turned out. We are so thankful for the team at Tide the Knot and are glad we chose them to plan our special day. -

I have always wanted a destination wedding, when we got engaged our fathers both said they would not fly- so out of the country wasn't an option. I began researching places in Florida and different venders. Something about the website, reviews, photos, and options with Tide the Knot stuck with me and after speaking with them over the phone I knew they were who I wanted to use to help me plan my dream wedding. We chose Pass-A-grille beach and having never been there we were basing it off their word and reviews, and they were spot on! Living in Iowa I was a little nervous about planning so far away and not being able to be there however Laura, who we worked with, made everything so smooth and easy for us! Any time I had a question if I didn't get a response that day (sometimes I emailed late at night when a question came to mind) then it would be the next day. The entire staff was very professional and informative, very easy to work with! On the day of the wedding I didn't feel any stress at all! It all went so smoothly. We chose the Grand Affair because of the beach reception to allow time for family to mingle while finishing taking pictures and it worked out perfectly. If any of the Tide the Knot staff had questions they found us quickly, they made sure we didn't need anything and were ok with them tearing the arbor down in case we needed it for more pictures. All of our guests were very pleased as well as impressed with the ceremony! I have already recommended Tide the Knot to friends as well as others on a Destination Wedding Facebook group. Thank you again to Laura and the rest of the Tide the Knot crew! It was a day we will never forget!

My husband and I decided to plan a vow renewal after 13 years of marriage. I came across Tide the knot online, and fell in love with their videos and photos of other weddings. We both knew we would love to have a small destination vow renewal in beautiful Saint Petersburg FL, and that’s when we decided to contact Tide the knot to see if they could help us plan it. From the very beginning, every team member was very helpful on giving the full break down of services they offer, and what we would need to expect in the months to come. They were wonderful at how detail oriented they were with all of our decor options, and very helpful on what we should expect. My husband and I are so happy with the outcome of our vow renewal, down to every beautiful detail. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! We highly recommend using Tide the knot! My husband and I had our wedding with Tide the Knot in June in Clearwater Beach, and we still talk about how amazing that whole experience was! Our hope going into it was to have a casual, but classy beach wedding that wouldn't get us stressed out over details. They went above and beyond those hopes. I cannot recommend Tide the Knot more! From the planning stages, everyone was so nice, helpful, and quick to respond. Planning a wedding, especially one this lovely, from Tennessee was so easy I almost feel guilty, except I can't take the credit for how beautiful it was. The designers with Tide the Knot are incredible--we were not picky, so I just said what colors we were thinking and asked them to do whatever they thought would look best with everything, as they are the professionals. They called us two weeks before the wedding to finalize everything and go over last items, like scheduling. Then all we had to do was show up to the beach! It couldn't have been an easier process. When my family and I arrived to the ceremony that morning, Dan met me at the car, and warmly explained the logistics, making sure to remind me to enjoy every moment and soak it in. Although they do this all the time, for so many couples, there is nothing impersonal about their service. Both Dan and our photographer Jaimi were so personable and genuine. We went with the steel drummer for music, and he was great. Now that I have written a novel about the greatness that is Tide the Knot Beach Weddings, if it is even close to being on your radar to have a beach wedding, make life easier for yourself and choose Tide the Knot to take care of it. We are so thankful for everyone at Tide the Knot who made ours even better than we could have hoped for! -

My Husband (eeeek) and I live in the UK, but had always dreamed of having a small wedding on the beach somewhere far from home and Tide the Knot made that dream come true!
No amount of words can explain how amazing the day was and how incredible Tide the Knot were throughout, but I’be tried to sum up below!
After settling on Florida as our wedding location (with a Disney honeymoon thrown in) I found Tide the Knot online and i’m so glad I did. The thought of organising a wedding in a country that is over 4,000 miles away is a bit daunting, but they made it so so easy.
We booked over a year & a half in advance, which left us plenty of time to decide on the finer details we wanted. Throughout the 20 months prior to our wedding they were always very responsive to the questions I had, which helped put my mind at ease.
A couple of weeks before the wedding Tide the Knot arranged a call with us to go through all the details that we had chosen when we submitted our checklist and answered any questions we had.
Unfortunately we found out the day before our wedding that 3 of our guests (comprising of MotG, FotG and BM) were going to be unable to attend due to a flight cancellation! Cristi was amazingly helpful, reassuring me that the set up would still look amazing even though we were now down to only 2 guests. They also did a fantastic job of making my HTB feel comfortable and relaxed while he waited for me to arrive.
Our photographer, Mir, was fab! So energetic that it made it easy to relax around her, especially as neither of us are very good at posing.
Our Sneak Peak photos were ready within 2 days!! Now we can’t wait to the rest within 4 weeks
They made organising a wedding a breeze. I can’t thank Cristi and everyone at Tide the Knot enough for making our wedding day the best! -

Rebekah Sent on 09/05/2018Tide The Knot is simply the best. I didn't feel stressed for a second the whole day.. well, take that back, it was down pouring the whole time. But, that's what simply put them above and beyond for me. We had red tide fears going into this and the whole time they made us feel at peace in how flexible they were willing to be, even offering to change locations. Day of my husband and I decided to stick with our original location, and as you see from above it poured up until the ceremony. Calling them, again put me at ease. They said they would come to us or do it at the beach, our call. We decided to suck it up and go to the beach and it turned out beyond perfect. The rain stopped the second we stepped foot in the sand. From direction, to the officiant, and to the photography I have not a single complaint. All were so professional. I would recommend their services 100%.
