Third Degree Glass Factory
If you’re looking for an affordable, but gorgeous venue in the St. Louis area, look no further! The space itself is beautiful with exposed brick, polished concrete floors and custom artwork and is extremely versatile. You can keep it simple or glam it up as much as you want. (We kept it simple and it was still a fairytale). We had a wonderful experience with Jessica and her staff! They helped walk us through the experience from start to finish, providing insight and expertise on design, floor plans, vendors, bar packages, etc. With their help, we were able to have the wedding day of our dreams without breaking the bank. Couldn’t have asked for a better day/experience. Overall would 10/10 recommend Third Degree for a top wedding venue in STL. -

The Perfect Wedding Day
The second we walked into Third Degree Glass we instantly fell in love with the beauty and uniqueness of the space, and immediately knew we found the venue for our wedding day! But its not just the Venue that made our experience so wonderful, it the entire team at Third Degree, from the beginning they made us feel welcomed and helped us create the perfect wedding day. Brooke was so incredible and detailed when it came to translating what we wanted to actual reality and she was there for us every step of the way for any questions we had large or small. Our wedding day needless to say went off so spectacularly perfect that we received compliments all night from our guests and are still getting compliments a week later about how beautiful and unique our ceremony and reception was! From the amazing planning team and staff, the beautiful venue itself, the unique glass blowing demonstration during our cocktail hour, and the amazing bar team, we can 100% say we had a wedding day that our family and friends will talk about for a very long time and one that we will never forget!! We couldn’t of imagined a better start to our lives together and can’t thank the Third Degree Team enough! -

Wedding Welcome Party
We had a blast at Third Degree! We hosted our 3 hour wedding welcome party here Friday night before the wedding. Jessica and her team were the most organized and responsive vendors we worked with in all of wedding planning. They use a communications portal that makes it easy to keep track of Comms and documents. The bar manager was also very easy to work with and gave us suggestions on our signature drinks.
We had the glass demo and commission, catering from Sugarfire and Clementines (the bike). We had the full bar package - including 2 signature drinks. We put out our own drink sign in addition to their wooden ones. (Only very tiny comment (coming from someone who is into DIY and paper goods) is they put out some paper drink menus that were a little scrappy and had I known, would have printed something nicer. ) We planned to use the outdoor area, but the night ended up being unseasonably hot, so our guests didn’t really go out there at all and we moved stuff inside. We rented the white glass centerpieces which looked nice.
We connected our own audio to their system which worked fine for background music.
Everything went off without a hitch. Everything was setup and executed to correctly. It was hard to make our guests leave!
I’d highly recommend hosting your event here and working with the team.
PS- Jessica mentioned she has her own full wedding planning service. While I cannot vouch for that, I would have tried to hire her for day of coordinating know what I know now!-

Beautiful, Versatile Space; Epic Wedding
TDGF is a beautiful, airy space that is able to transform into nearly anything. It was the perfect setting for our cocktail hour and reception. Huge pluses were a glass-blowing demonstration, which guests loved, and expert bartenders! It was also very easy working with the staff leading up to the wedding. -

Perfect venue for the couple looking for a no-hassle planning process and a beautiful atmosphere!
Third Degree was suggested to us by a friend who also considered it as her wedding venue. When I walked in, I could instantly tell we would get married here. The space is so beautiful that it requires little to no decoration to get the vibe and atmosphere of a beautiful wedding. The cherry on top of the cake for us was the ability to bring any outside caterer you wanted, whereas other venues required you use a specific vendor for food. The front office staff, bar staff, and everyone else were very supportive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. Third Degree will always hold a special place in our hearts and we whole heartedly recommend this venue for a perfect wedding! -

Third Degree made sure our wedding day was perfect
We found Third Degree through Google when searching for our wedding venue. We went to a few other venues the day we checked out Third Degree but when we walked in, Katie (the bride!) knew right away that this was the venue for our wedding. Our first visit there with Olivia was great - she told us everything we needed to know and more, showed us around, and gave us a great vibe right away. We booked within the week (they were very quick to communicate which I appreciated).
The communication throughout was wonderful and we never felt like we were ever being strung along. We found a few of our vendors through their preferred vendors as well.
Day of literally could not have gone better. We had such a wonderful experience. We used the gallery room for our ceremony and it was so beautiful using all of the art as the backdrop for our wedding. Then the event space was done perfectly (so much room!). The bar was beautiful, the bartenders were great and fun, and the custom mixed drinks they allowed us to create ended up being delicious.
All in all, working with Third Degree was 10/10 and I will recommend them to anyone as a venue (we also have a few glass pieces bought from there now and they are gorgeous - go support local artists!)-

Wedding at TDGF
We initially chose TDGF as our wedding venue because of all the beautiful colors and the cool art pieces. In the end, that wasn't even the best part! The event coordinator Alison was kind, enthusiastic, and organized as we planned the event. She was responsive to emails, gave us great suggestions, and was flexible when we asked for last minute seating assignment changes. She was truly essential in making our wedding such a success. We are grateful for all her hard work and would recommend this venue to others for important events! -

Beautiful and Unique
This venue was perfect for both my ceremony and reception. I loved how beautiful, unique, and artistic this venue is. I barely had to spend money on decor because the venue is so beautiful on it's own. My guests RAVED about the glass blowing demonstration. I felt that the venue is a great size. There is a lot of space for everyone but it still feels intimate. The staff was amazing to work with and Rachel made the day so easy and the month leading up to the wedding was organized and stress-free. You will not regret booking this venue!-

Wow! This place was amazing!
The more we worked with Third Degree, the more we came to appreciate it. The service there was amazing with prompt responses to our inquiries and planning. We had no issues with them as they laid out their guidelines from the getgo and we were able to plan around it accordingly. The East Gallery is very customizable despite the industrial presence, and the wedding that we had there was absolutely gorgeous!
Guests also appreciated the venue as they were entertained from sitting down at the ceremony till they decided to leave. I lost count of all of the compliments over the glass blowing demonstration during the flip.
Would totally recommend working with them and we are excited to see our sculpture from the Glass Ceremony! -

Third Degree is the perfect place for a wedding and reception to be held together. We wanted everyone to sit at their dinner tables for the ceremony, and Third Degree made it happen. We got married in February and wanted there to be coffee and a place to warm up, and Third Degree made it happen. The staff is SO FRIENDLY and went out of their way to make sure our guests felt welcome. -

We chose Third Degree Glass Factory for its unique atmosphere, intimate size, and the one-stop setting. We knew that having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one spot would make our day easier and more laid back. Working with Rachel through the planning was a breeze, even when we had special requests for our timeline, layout, and bar options. She was very responsive and timely in communicating with us when we had questions or concerns, and she was willing to meet with us multiple times to work out all the details. We opted for the glass ceremony and had a glass-blowing demonstration during our cocktail hour. It was amazing; our friends and family cannot stop talking about it. The commissioned glass piece that we received is something we will cherish forever as a reminder of our union and that amazing day. The TDGF staff worked with our coordinator to flip the East Gallery from ceremony floor plan to the reception floor plan in record time, allowing my husband and I to see the reception space before the guests did and our photographer time to get all the detail shots. Jenny was our day-of on-site contact and she worked tirelessly with our coordinator and other vendors. The timing of the ceremony and reception was smooth; everything happened seamlessly. Third Degree even offers to clean up post-reception for a very small fee, and the convenience of being able to leave at the end of the night was the priceless. We cannot recommend Third Degree enough. It was by far the best decision we made throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. -

Katie and I chose Third Degree for our wedding because they were very reasonably priced. We were also excited to have a unique unity ceremony where we mix the pieces of glass that were later made into a beautiful piece of art for us to keep. The staff and artists all did an exceptional job and we could not have been happier with the event. Thank you to everyone at this great venue! -

The event coordinator at the venue worked with us and our vendors for a perfect wedding. We had to flip the room in an hour during the cocktail hour and it went so smoothly. The guests were impressed with the venue. The guests were able to watch a glass blowing during the cocktail hour which was unique. -

They were so flexible! This is a truely one of a kind venue! The inside was more than anything I could've asked for! The glass work was beautiful and they allowed me to use some of them as center pieces! The staff is so wonderful, especially Rachael! I only had the chance to decorate half of the venue because we were running late. I was going to to send someone back from the ceremony to finish it but thankfully, to my surprise, the staff there finished the tables for me without me asking. That was probably the most touching thing ever! I'm am so grateful! Also I was able to hire an artist to do a glass blowing demonstration to entertain the guest while we had pictures taken. -

One of the best things is that they let us bring in our own caterer, which given that we had to have a kosher one, was a big consideration. They have to do the beverages, but they were perfectly willing to order kosher wine for us. And they'd never dealt with an orthodox Jewish wedding before, but they were very willing to find out what we needed and how to make it work. We did this almost all long distance too, and it still worked. Plus, the place is beautiful, with glass everywhere. We saved a bundle on centerpieces, since they put glass pieces on the tables at no extra cost. -

Book Third Degree now while you still can!
Third Degree Glass Factory (TDGF) was a beautiful venue and a space that my husband and I would 100% recommend for a wedding reception! When we first began looking at venues in the St. Louis area, our goal was to find a beautiful space that offered a memorable experience for our guests within our budget and TDGF fit our needs perfectly. TDGF was responsive and upfront in the quoting process and gave us a clear idea on what our reception would look like.
We began working with Jessica when we first signed our contract and Brooke joined the team about five months before our event. Both Jessica and Brooke worked well within their communications portal and were able to provide thoughtful insights to the needs of our wedding reception.
One thing to consider, Third Degree Glass Factory was still going through a few updates between when we first set our reception date and when our reception was held. This included some wonderful surprises including beautiful high-top tables that matched the bar and new overhead spot lights that allowed for our band to be ‘featured’ a bit more. They also had a couple of items in our contract that were subject to availability such as colored glass centerpieces (which are no longer available), and specific artists capabilities for glass pieces. These changes did not materially impact our evening, but if you want to adhere to a strict vision, be sure to make TDGF aware of your requests. They are continuing to build out their event experience and we expect that the space will get even better!
The space itself is open, with beautiful exposed brick, glass pieces arranged on walls and hung from the ceiling, and a full on ‘hot shop’ which married an industrial environment with a beautiful canvas upon which we could compose our reception. Our evening included a cocktail hour, unity ceremony, seated dinner, and a live band for 140 guests and the space worked exceptionally well. The large banquet hall had plenty of space, but never felt cavernous for a plated dinner and large dance floor. The glass gallery made for a wonderful setting to have our unity ceremony and cocktail hour—getting to see seasonal art pieces was super unique. The outdoor space was lovely and provided guests with a great place to grab a bit of fresh air and a quiet space over the course of the evening. We had guests coming up to us asking ‘how did you find this place?!’ and ‘I didn’t know something this cool existed!’ The space is open enough to add your own design touch, but is complete enough that you don’t need to do much to make the space feel special.
Highlights of TDGF include the option for a live glass demonstration--we had guests coming up to us throughout the evening telling us how special it was to witness a piece of art being created. It perfectly complemented our cocktail hour after our unity ceremony. The way Allison runs the bar program at TDGF is also exceptional. We had two signature cocktails as well as a full bar—the cocktails were well mixed and folks hardly had to wait to get a drink. Their quality and variety of spirits rival standalone bars. TDGF feels like they have invested in an excellent bar program and it shows!
We had a seamless experience working with our vendors and the run of show was well put together and easy to follow. The evening of our reception went off without a hitch and Brooke, our coordinator, was incredibly responsive through the process. Third Degree is evolving for the better and making strides to be the premier event space of St. Louis. Book them now while you still can! -

Fantastic Venue for Ceremony and Reception
We were so thrilled with our experience having both our wedding ceremony and reception at Third Degree! Planning with Tracey was wonderful, she kept us organized and thought of every detail. Both Tracey and Ali went out of their way to make sure our evening went smoothly as well. Many of our guests commented what a beautiful and unique venue it was, and it was altogether even better than we had dreamed. Thank you Third Degree, highly recommend! -

Our friends and family were so impressed with our ceremony and reception at Third Degree Glass Factory, and so were we! It is such a unique space, which is hard to come by for wedding venues. Everyone commented on how neat, fun, and beautiful it was -- all without us having to do much decorating because the glass pieces and exposed brick walls are already great touches. We did the glass ceremony and demonstration, which felt rather expensive when looking at the amount in the contract but ended up being a great filler during the cocktail hour and something memorable for our guests. We enjoyed working with Rachel -- she was responsive over email and phone (which was very important since we were planning from out of state), and explained everything to us multiple times when needed. She also seemed to work well when coordinating with our day-of planner and other vendors. A main factor in choosing Third Degree was the open catering and multiple bar options, but the look and feel of the space ended up being our favorite part. Overall, we had a great time and were thrilled with how things turned out! -

Third Degree was the perfect location for our reception. My husband and I are both artists and wanted a very inspiring/non-banquet hall environment. Third Degree had the exact look and feel we were going for. Rachael was very easy to work with and was very patient with us in the final crazy weeks preceding the wedding. The only reason I didn't give Third Degree a perfect score is because we felt a little shoved out the door by the employees at the end of the night. We completely understand that everyone wanted to go home, but it was sort of a bummer ending to a perfect night. We are still very happy with our decision to book Third Degree and would definitely recommend it to future brides and grooms! -

We wanted a unique, memorable venue. Third Degree was perfect, as it's a working glass studio and art gallery. (Surrounded by pedestals of colorful glass and backed by a wall of tall windows, our huppah didn't even require any extra decoration.) People who are interested in having a more "downtown loft" or "industrial" feel to their event should especially consider Third Degree, as it has all the required elements -- exposed brick, high ceilings, big windows, and a city zip code.
Cost: I didn't find a cheaper option in the city, and it was considerably less expensive than downtown loft spaces like Moulin. They require you to use their bar service, but even that was less expensive than many other packages/venues I researched.
Flexibility: 1) The space is open and allows for many setup options, with some exceptions (decibel level for amplified music, and you have to set up tables at least 3 or 4' away from the art), and it handles bright colors well. You can make this space feel cozy and intimate, sophisticated and elegant, or modernist and spare. You can't make it look like a country club, but if you want a country club you won't want Third Degree anyway. 2) The staff was flexible, allowing me to customize the open bar package and use my own caterer (the latter was a HUGE factor in my decision). And my goodness, they were so patient with all those months of my questions, phone calls, emails, visits!
Possible downside: It's a working artists' studio, not a dedicated wedding venue. It doesn't have things like a pre-ceremony lounge or a coat-check room. The floor is concrete and the ducts are exposed; it's not spotlessly clean everywhere. (Don't worry, the event rooms and bathrooms *are* clean.) But, for me, the rough edges and unpretentiousness of the space only added to the character of the whole wedding -- and our guests found it all quite charming, really. -

Extremely flexible and easy to work with. A beautiful modern space with exposed brick and beautiful glasswork and artwork displayed throughout the space. It is a venue only, so you will have to hire your own catering staff and catering company. But they have no restrictions! So we got food from a restaurant. I have friends that had their weddings here and had food catered from Pappy's or India Palace. -

We had our reception at Third Degree Glass Factory in St. Louis this year, and it was an absolutely gorgeous venue! We could chose to bring in any caterer we wanted and the staff was extremely flexible and helpful all the way.
We had a seated dinner in one of the beautiful galleries, and a large dance floor with a staffed bar in the other gallery. Our guests could enjoy watching amazing glass artists blow glass throughout the evening, which added ambiance and excitement to the party!
The space was easy to decorate in the ways we wanted, and all the glass on display was there to add to the romantic feeling from the burning fires. We could not have asked for more fun and romance on our wedding day. I would highly recommend that you check it out if you are just beginning to plan your wedding. The place is understandably popular, so be early. We chose to have our wedding on a Friday to get the weekend we wanted.
Good luck! -

TDGF was wonderful to work with. My wife (then fiancée) and I booked both our wedding ceremony and reception there in a hurry when our prior scheduled venue became abruptly unaccommodating.
We picked this place because, apart from its unique feel and artsy beauty, the staff was very accommodating to our requests. They have a list of suggested vendors, but you aren't limited to a small group of contracted service suppliers, as with many, many other venues.
The venue itself is beautiful inside, always covered with an array of glass art and complementary pieces, but the neighborhood can be hit-or-miss. This part of Saint Louis is currently on the upswing, and TGDF itself is very secure (Security Officers are provided to watch cars during the event, at no cost).
Cody Meirick (Event Manager) handled all of our numerous requests with grace and expediency, and was a joy to work with. Jim McKelvey, co-founder, stopped by during our setup time to check on everything and actually came back for the reception (we invited him that day), took pictures, and chatted with our guests.
My wife and I, along with each member of our wedding party, actually made a paperweight during our reception--how many other places provide a service like that!? Parking is decent, there's bar service on-sight, and it's hip.
For a unique, memorable experience, we definitely recommend TDGF and staff. When you pay them a visit, be sure to check out the custom bathrooms.

AMAZING venue. Rachael is responsive, flexible, and incredibly helpful. She goes out of her way to do whatever she can do to help and has creative ideas for everything. The space is funky and fun. The only negative is the venue rental fee ($2000 at the time of our wedding), but with the flexibility you get with the place (your own caterer, etc.), it is well worth it. This may not be the venue for everyone - e.g. if you want the venue to be a one-stop shop or want a more "country club" or formal feel. But if you're like us, and wanted a casual, hip, fun reception that isn't cookie cutter, this is the place! Highly recommend! -

Unique, great spot for an event!
When we sought out a wedding venue we knew we wanted someplace that came with its own beauty so an art studio was a natural choice. The gorgeous glass gallery makes an amazing space for the cocktail hour and every space is decorated with beautiful art. The glassblowing demonstration was super memorable for our guests, too.
Working with the team was overall a good experience. There were times we had some confusion in communication with people changing roles but the team at Third Degree never dropped the ball and they made sure we were taken care of. They worked smoothly with our wedding coordinators and really helped get all the little details in place. They have done many weddings and know what they're doing but don't force a certain flow or format on you - you can do whatever you want but they also were happy to use their experience when we said "uhhh, whatever usually works!" The pricing is reasonable for what's included. I liked that we could do linens, centerpieces, table numbers, and beverages all through the venue and trust their staff to take care of those for us.
Our guests still talk about how cool the venue was and I totally agree! We also have a beautiful piece of glass art to commemorate the occasion. -

I was very happy with this venue. My one complaint was that they promised a parking lot would be built by the time of our reception and it was not. But everyone was friendly and it was a wonderfully unique place to have a party! -
