We had an intimate wedding on our property and B was a wonderful addition to our special day. I'm in the photography business so i was super excited about my wedding photos and worked hard to find the right person for the wedding.
Communication:
she responded to my initial inquiry email immediately. She was in touch a couple weeks before, the day before, and the morning of. Any time I texted, called, IG direct messaged- she was promp and professional and very sweet in her responses.
Professionalism: her contract and payment was clear, fair, easy to understand, and easy to sign. She showed up on the day of looking beautiful and presentable, 15 minutes early. She has top of the line gear and handles her equipment as if it was an extension of her own body. The way she delivered the gallery was beautifully curate and easy to download onto my phone and laptop.
Artistry: 1000000/10. OMG. The images B captured were stunning. She is truly and artist. These photos mean the world to me. You too will love your photos if you book with her. They made all my Pinterest dreams come true. And this is unheard of: SHE DELIVERED ALL MY EDITED WEDDING PHOTOS THE NEXT DAY BEFORE NOON!!!! She must have went home and worked all night. I couldn't believe it. Again, I am also a photographer and what she did in an evening would have taken me two weeks at least.
Price: she is very honest and open about her pricing. No hidden fees or extra add ons. She has it all priced on her inquiry page and she called me to answer any questions I had. She totally worked with me and my budget. I didn't price around (I was set on using her!!) but I believe she is in the same ball park pricing as most other photographers in the area.
Other:
We wanted to go to a special spot away from the venue that we had to drive to- and unfortunately it started raining and we had to go to a different spot. I was initially bummed that my first idea didn't work out, but once I got the photos I forgot all about it. It was a make it work moment and boy did she make it work!!
Overall- book this lady. You will be happy you did.

Bea is a great photographer to work with. She made our small wedding ceremony in Kona look like a big fancy wedding :) She was energetic, engaging, creative and a lot of fun! I’m especially thankful to Bea for always being available, being a good communicator and responding really fast, which was really important to me as for a stressed-out bride! Also she was very helpful with the locations for the photoshoot, as me, my husband and our family are not local and we needed some guidance. Bea made some great suggestions for the locations so we were able to maximize the time of the photoshoot, minimize time of the travel and still have pics in some gorgeous places. That gave me a sense of serenity and confidence in my choice of photographer because I felt like her goal was to make us happy and content and not to overcharge us.
And most importantly Bea sent us all the pictures just couple of days after ceremony which obviously made us super happy.
We absolutely love our wedding pictures and everyone who sees them says that they belong in a wedding magazine:)

Better late than never- my review is a little late and I rarely take the time to leave them, but I had to for Bea! Having had a few other photo shoots in my life, this was by far the most fun! Bea made us comfortable even though we felt awkward in front of the camera - she helped us loosen up! She knows exactly how to get the best shots, chose great spots with the best scenery and we truly enjoyed her company. Thank you Bea! If anyone is deciding on an elopement photographer, this is your gal! -

So quick and a go getter!
Was great working with B and was fun to be around. Made us feel like we could be ourselves and that's exactly what I was looking for. Had good recommendations for must see's and do's on the island. Edited in our photos and we got them back 24 hours later! Wow I must say compared to waiting weeks or even months. -

The best photographer
B was the best photographer I have worked with. She was very responsive and responded anytime I needed her too. The pictures came out absouletely amazing and she knew what poses we wanted. She’s there to make the experience for you flawless and east as possible. I’d recommend her anytime she’s in your area to shoot. -

Béa @ The Wandering B Photography was seriously the best! She made everything incredibly easy for us. From our very first interactions with her she was super personable and very transparent about the process and the cost and what we could expect.
She helped us pick the absolute perfect spot to elope on the big island, it was truly a magical place. She helped us nail down timing for beautiful sunset light rays and kept an eye on tide charts.
Béa was very easy to communicate with via email, text and phone call and had super quick response time. The day of our elopement we had some delays (people, traffic etc,) but Béa rolled with the punches and still made sure we had an absolutely incredible time (and got some awesome photos of it too!) I would book Béa over and over and over again. Worth every penny and then some!! -

Bea was awesome! We had a great time shooting with her, she gave us a lot of good tips to make the photos appear natural and organic; she definitely knows her stuff! She was very helpful to us, two people who had never done a photoshoot before. Bea was also really nice and personable and made us feel very comfortable during the shoot. She also asked for our input into the kind of pictures we wanted. Really happy with the end result - the pictures look amazing. And also she is really fast at editing! -

Working with B was a pleasure! I booked her for a 30 min couples shoot the day after I got engaged on the big island. Since I was only on the island for a few more days she worked with my schedule and squeezed me in. She responded within an hour of me reaching out. Her communication was perfect and her contract was clear and fair. She was honestly so sweet and funny and made it painless for my fiancé. I am also a photographer and run a family portrait studio in California, and I was impressed with her. I gave instructions of the "vision" I had in my head and she executed it perfectly. It was nice working with a fellow photographer that happily allowed me to participate in the creative process. She had the photos ready THE NEXT DAY, I was so surprised and happy. 10/10 -

2020 elopement
If you planned a wedding in 2020, chances are it didn’t go to *original* plan. We are so thankful we were able to work with Bea after our elopement plans, our back up plans, and our back up to the back up plans were ruined. She squeezed us in on her personal trip to Oahu when it was clear we wouldn’t make it to big island. We are in love with the gallery!!
My husband had so much fun during the shoot that he has probably been more eager to share than I have! Bea also promised and delivered a quicker turn around time and larger gallery than most other photographers in the same price range. She made sure our shoot was comfortable and reflected US, rather than just giving us uncomfortable poses.
Thank you, B!! Maybe we will see ya on the east coast one day

We worked with Bea while visiting the Big Island, and are so happy that we chose her! She is as sweet as can be, and really takes the time to get to know her couples prior to shooting. She has a way of making you feel comfortable, my husband and I laughed the whole time which resulted in capturing the most natural photos. These are some of our favorite photos we have ever had taken, I can’t recommend her enough! -

we contacted her like 2 days before the shooting. we have no words to tell how responsive and how quick she was. Everything seemed very straightforward and easy with her. She had a lot of shooting ideas and her own style. she knows what she was doing. My husband hates photography sessions normally but she totally knew how to get him into it. Within 24 hours, she delivered us our pictures "exceptionally" for our honeymoon as we were leaving. Without her, we would never had such a wonderful honeymoon memories of Hawaii.
What we liked the most was that she took some time to get to know us at the beginning, started by asking us what we like, and what we don't like etc.
she has also been very flexible on our some special requests. I think, usually she delivers within 15 days. but she did an express version given our situation.

Incredible!
bea went above and beyond for my husband and I. she was there every step of the way and was so patient dealing with me and all my millions of questions. she really takes time to know you and your story and makes you feel like family!! (also was SO a good with my crazy little sisters who adored her) she captured every pose (and complicated picture I wanted 😜) and far exceeded our dreams with how they’ve turned out! I had some privacy concerns as well (hense the elopement) and she made me feel so safe and secure through the while process. (I’d trust her with my life) I couldn’t recommend her highly enough !!! thank you for capturing our special day!! -

Best. Experience. Ever!
We found Bea on a whim by searching through Instagram prior to our trip back to Hawaii and it was one of the best decisions we have made for our wedding thus far. Bea was so much fun, so easy to work with and our pictures are freakin’ gorgeous!!! I highly recommend using her for any of your photo needs! Absolutley amazing
OMG!!! Bea is the sweetest! She did my engagement photos, which my fiance and I both hate taking pictures! Yet she was able to fully capture our love for one another. We booked Bea for a short couples session on the beach during our trip to Hawaii. She was very pleasant to work with and response time was off the charts.
