Wedding Day
Samantha is so accommodating and helpful that it made our day a breeze! She answered all of my questions so quickly and I felt extremely taken care of by her! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the renovations made it that much more beautiful! I would highly recommend working with Samantha and booking this venue because you truly get a wonderful partnership! -

Everything was wonderful! It was very easy working with Samantha and planning the decorations. We loved having the kitchen and extra snack/drink counter to keep storing and serving food seemless. The space for everyone to mingle and sit was perfect, and the table arrangements allowed for perfect pictures. If we planned another big event I would definitely choose The Woodland Place again! -

The venue was perfect for our day. It was a fabulous fairytale day. Our wedding had about 105 people and it was amazing. Beautiful outside area for the wedding made for fantastic photos. The building was a beautiful backdrop for the reception. Samantha is very good to work with. She listens and tries to accommodate the bride as much as possible. Thank you so much for your beautiful venue! -

Perfect choice!

Amazing experience!
We absolutely loved our wedding at the Woodland Place! Samantha was so kind and accommodating! She sets up the venue based on your color scheme which made my life SOOOOOO much easier! It was a dream come true. The outdoor area of the venue is STUNNING, especially during fall and sunset. The leaves are gorgeous and the sun hits the outdoor ceremony section just right. -

This place has such a beautiful scene indoor and out! It offers decor, linens, tables/chairs and lots of other things. Samantha, one of the owners, help us out so much during our planning, especially when we had to postpone our date because of covid19. She was very understanding and easy to work with. This place was perfect for us! -

Wonderful experience!
We hosted our wedding reception at the woodland place and it exceeded our expectations! From the start, Samantha was attentive and accommodating with creating my vision! She also put our minds at ease whenever we had any concerns—especially in the mist of COVID.
We also were able to use her beautiful decor for the centerpieces and set up early which were two huge stress relievers!
Highly recommend! -

Highly recommend!
The owners were great to work with. They always answered our emails within 24 hours, they had everything we needed, they provided us with the tables, chairs, linens, signage, and decorations of our choosing! They are so flexible with coming out to the venue to let you look around or change your decorations. They had everything set up for us the day of our wedding, exactly the way we had asked for, and they took everything down for us at the end of the night. For the price of the Saturday rental, they are by far the best deal in Roanoke. -

love this place, Samantha was wonderful help, After having to postpone the wedding twice she did all the accommodations that's it was need it for us to have a wonderful wedding. my guesses love the location, the greenery was wonderful for pictures. i will rent this venue again for future gathering -

Plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, lovely option for the outside service, and great layout for the reception. Plenty of parking, as well! -

A dream come true
Working with the new owners of the woodland place has been a dream. Their packages were every affordable. Having the base of my center pieces provided and set up before the wedding by staff, at no cost, allowed me to add my colors and theme easily. The venue is beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. She even let my husband and I practice our first dance in the venue space before the wedding!! Truly a dream. -
