  Incredible

  We worked with Jill indirectly for our wedding cake and whoopie pies through the wolf cove inn. We opted for a small one tier vanilla blueberry cake and salted caramel brownie whoopie pies. I kid you not these were two of the best baked goods we have ever consumed. My family loved both so much and it was incredibly fresh. Our design was simple but beautifully done. We are hoping to return to the inn for our anniversary and will absolutely be tracking down some more treats to celebrate!

  Delicious lemon blueberry cake!

  We loved working with Jill! She was really accommodating in scheduling our tasting, and we loved everything she made for us. We sent her inspiration images for what we wanted our cake to look like and she nailed it. She took the initiative to coordinate with our florist on the day of the wedding to finalize decorations. All of our guests raved about the cake, and we loved it too! Would highly recommend working with Jill!

  Above and Beyond Delicious!

  Jill is able to make cakes, cupcakes, and cookies just as sweet as she is! She was very responsive by email and facebook messenger. She took on more than just making delicious desserts and delivering them. We asked for a natural birchbark two tiered cake with two different flavors, and she did it. We asked for four different flavors of cupcakes for 140 people, and she did it. We asked for cookies in the shape of lobsters as our favors, and she did it.
  Jill met with us to talk about our vision for our wedding, to go over any dietary restrictions for our guests, and to go over available flavors. Her flavor combinations are magical! She was able to appropriately estimate how many cupcakes and cookies to order based on our headcount.
  Jill not only made our cookie favors, she also packaged them up for us. All we had to do was mail her the bags and stickers. She delivered them perfectly packaged when she brought the cake and cupcakes to our venue. We also mailed her our cake topper in advance so we did not have to worry about it when she delivered everything.
  Her display was amazing! We rented the cake and cupcake stands from her which was so easy. All we had to do was drop them off a couple days after the wedding. It was such a relief that we had no work to do the day of our wedding when dealing with the cake, cupcakes, and cookies. She did it all! We feel so lucky that we found Jill and are very thankful for the extra details she was able to take on to make our lives just a little bit easier.

  We used the Winey Baker to provide cake and desserts for our wedding in June 2018. Jill was an absolute blast to work with. She is the sweetest person and wants to make sure everything is the way you want it. We were planning our wedding from out-of-state so didn’t get to meet her until our cake tasting. Everything we sampled, cake flavors and desserts, were AMAZING. We ended up choosing her lemon oat bars, mini blueberry pies, oatmeal cream pies, and chocolate brownie salted caramel whoopie pies. Our cake was classic vanilla with strawberry filling and was one of the moistest cakes I’ve ever tasted. Everything was delicious and our guests raved about it. We also rented her stands and had her set-up our dessert table! Thanks Jill, for making yummy desserts and being an amazing vendor to work with!

  I would highly recommend The Winey Baker! Jill was amazing and fit us in last minute and made us the most delicious cupcakes and cake. Not only was the cake delicious it looked amazing and just how we envisioned it. Family and friends couldn't get enough of the cupcakes.   We could not have asked for a better wedding dessert chef than Jill Drew, also known as “The Winey Baker.” From the moment she welcomed us into her home in the midst of an epic blizzard – she was willing to be flexible because she knew we had out of town visitors for the event and were determined to persevere despite the weather – we knew she could be an excellent choice to make our wedding that much sweeter. We fell in love quickly – with Jill, and her home-based business…and her treats! She was clearly passionate about and enjoyed her work. The tasting was absolutely delicious and filled with more variety than we could have anticipated and we were sold! Jill was incredibly flexible, working with us to budget and design a wide variety of desserts and a wedding cake to both feed our guests and fulfill our wedding vision. She was eager to incorporate our thoughts and preferences while sprinkling in words of wisdom about the benefits and disadvantages of different dessert options. When it came to creating our cake, Jill was also amazing! She was realistic about the goal of our wedding cake – with that many other amazing desserts, it did not necessarily need to feed every guest. Her cake and frosting flavors were delicious and the combinations endless but she worked with us patiently to design the cake that was best for us. She was incredibly communicative throughout the process and went above and beyond getting flowers to decorate the cake and all. Her finished product – an entire dessert table, replete with mini blueberry, apple, and strawberry rhubarb pies, shot-glass sized cakes (even better than cupcakes!), chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate brownies, and the star of the show – a gorgeous three tier wedding cake with multiple flavor layers with different frostings and a décor that fit the barn setting perfectly – was better than we could have even imagined! Our wedding day was perfect and we are grateful to Jill for being a part of it.

  We received rave reviews on all of our deserts! The mini cakes were divine. My husband only likes funfetti cupcakes made by me - I was thrilled when we tried The Winey Baker's cakes and he enjoyed it too! It was a must for our personal cake.
  
  I also had a last minute request that Jill had no issues accommodating (and it was an odd one)! Our dessert table was literally so beautiful and so yummy! Thanks for your hardwork.

She had so many desserts and cakes for us to try and gave us a really good picture of what our options were. Our wedding cake and whoopie pies were a big hit at our reception and we couldn't have done it without her. I would recommend her desserts to anyone!!
