Found my dream wedding dress at The White Dress!

I got engaged in October 2022 and planned a wedding for September 2023. I was encouraged to find a dress ASAP / by the end of 2022 so that it would arrive on time.

I visited The White Dress for the first time on 12/4/22 after visiting one other bridal salon a couple of days prior. I actually thought I had found a dress I loved at the other salon but had already made the appointment for the same weekend at The White Dress and figured I should go... and thank goodness I did!!!

The White Dress had a much larger selection in my budget than the previous salon I visited. My stylist took the time to understand what I liked/didn't like and we were able to nail down the vibe I was going for pretty easily. When I tried on the dress I ended up purchasing, I really did just know it was the one.

Picked up my dress at The White Dress in June 2023, ~6 months after purchasing.

I also purchased my veil from The White Dress. You can book an "accessory appointment" where you can try on the floor model of your dress with different veils which made the process so easy! Again, my stylist took the time to understand what I liked/didn't like and I ended up buying a veil that was part of a trunk show at the time.

I had gone back and forth on whether I was going to buy a new veil or not so I didn't book my accessory appointment until August. I purchased a veil the same day as my appointment and it was ready for pickup just a few weeks later.

Beautiful dresses and great service

I love The White Dress. My sister got her wedding dress here 5 years before me, and I had recommended it to a friend a couple years before I was engaged as well, so it was no surprise that I found my dream dress here too!

They are always very friendly and helpful and their tailor is incredible. So happy with my dress!

Five star service & gowns!

I had an incredible experience with Laura from The White Dress in CDM! Laura was so welcoming and really went above and beyond for my appointment and made me feel so special in the most gorgeous selection of dresses. You can tell their team is genuinely passionate and knowledgeable in all things bridal. I would highly recommend Laura to any bride searching for the best quality gowns in Orange County!

Great Experience

The White Dress is such an amazing dress shop. They are very communicative and my stylist was lovely. I did all of my fittings and alterations through them and the entire process was a dream. They have a really great assortment of dresses and designers. Highly recommend.

So many options

They had so many options and the lady who was helping me was so patient and understanding. She listened to what I was asking for and would also come back with several other options as a way to help me narrow down exactly what I wanted. I did end up getting a dress that was a size too big, however, I feel that was the designer's sizing chart error. I would highly recommend going to them as they made it fun and exciting.

Great experience and perfect dress.

As soon as I walked into the white dress salon, I knew it was special. They were so professional, clean, friendly, and there were a ton of dresses to choose from. All the personal stylists were helpful and helped me pick out dresses to try on. They were respectful of my budget as well which I appreciated. The first dress Emily picked for me ended up being the dress I said yes to! It was so easy. I highly recommend getting your dress here.

I had a wonderful experience working with the ladies at The White Dress! Ashley was really sweet and helped me narrow down the dresses at my first appointment, and Nicole was so great at helping me make my final decision at my second appointment. She really took her time to fit the dresses on me perfectly, as they would be once tailored, and picked the perfect veil and earrings to go with the dress I chose. Nancy was great at my accessories appointment and helped me to finalize my decision on the veil and earrings, and to pick out the perfect headpiece. My seamstress, Liz was also amazing! She was so kind and helpful, and super patient with me. She was willing to do as many fittings as needed until the dress was perfect. She also made the time to tailor my dress for the rehearsal dinner even though she was very busy during peak wedding season and I brought it in shortly before the wedding. I would highly recommend The White Dress!

When you get engaged, a huge overwhelming rush comes upon you. Where are you going to have the ceremony, reception, food, drinks, decor, color scheme, flowers?!?, etc. When I started my journey on finding my perfect dress, I had made several appointments and decided to go to all of them on a Saturday. I brought my mom, grandma, future mother-in-law and little sister. Our first appt. was at the White Dress. From the moment you walk in, you feel like your in a high-end couture wedding dress store in Paris. You're welcomed right away with a smile and brought back to a beautiful sitting area where my family sat to watch me try and dresses. I had Emily Lappi has my bridal stylist and I can honestly say after the appt. we've become friends! She's the nicest, sweetest and compassionate person and she made this experience so happy and stress-free. I ended up choosing the third dress I tried on (Emily picked it out after asking me what I wanted in a dress and what style I would like). It was like she was my best friend making sure I looked and felt great. I got all my bridesmaids dresses from there and they all arrived on time. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend the White Dress to everyone and anyone looking to purchase a wedding gown, flower girl and bridesmaid dress. I would highly recommend The White Dress! Marlis was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. I was in a tricky situation as I currently live in London, UK but found a beautiful Galia Lahav dress I was in love with online that The White Dress was advertising. I had never even tried on a wedding dress before and had many questions. Marlis was very knowledgeable and replied promptly over email and spent a great deal of time with me on the phone further clarifying questions I had. She was patient and I did not make me feel pressured in any way. She clearly understood my trepidation with buying a wedding dress online and made me feel very comfortable with the purchase. She shipped it immediately and the dress was exactly as she described (if not more beautiful). Overall, Marlis went above and beyond for someone that she had only briefly spoken to over email and phone. Thank you for making my dream come true!!

I was first blown away by the variety and quantity of gowns The White Dress carries. They offer trunk shows most weekends to show even more gowns and a designer or representative is present to assist as well. I found my dream gown with their help and I recommend every Southern California bride gives them a call to see they're amazing consultants and beautiful store.

This was the FIRST and LAST place I went shopping for my wedding dress. As in I said yes to the dress at my first appointment! This is because The White Dress has an amazing selection and the best ladies working there to help you find the right dress for your big day. I would like to make a big shout out to ALEX! I have been shopping for a wedding dress in 5 bridal stores until I have found the "one" in the White Dress. Alex was very friendly and professional. I have shown her couple dresses I have liked before and she pulled out a dress that was exactly what I was looking for. The dress was very chic and elegant with beautiful off white lace on a champagne layer. It shaped my body so beautifully. It was also much lighter than other dresses I have tried before which was definitely a big plus for an August outdoor wedding. The shipping time was quicker than I was told. It fit so perfectly, all I needed is hem. The price was half of the price of last dress that I have almost bought. Everyone even male servers at our wedding commented that my dress was simply gorgeous and I looked like a model from a bridal magazine. So incredibly happy about my choice!

This store is so beautiful and offers a very intimate experience when you are searching for your dress! I went in with a few dress styles in mind. My consultant Ashley listened to what I thought I wanted and put me in dresses I picked out. I hated everything. When I started to feel as if I would be leaving empty handed, Ashley said, "Okay, now it's my turn." She came back with dresses that I never imagined would look good for my body type. In fact, I mocked the dresses as she brought them in bu ended up loving EVERY SINGLE ONE. She is a true professional that can look at a woman's body and know exactly what they will look good in. She listened to everything I asked for and never brought a dress that was over our budget.
She made the day one that I will never forget. I highly recommend going to The White Dress during your search. And I hope it's obvious that you should ask for Ashley to be your consultant! :)

The White Dress was fantastic! They have such a wide variety of dresses & designers, and yet their stylists do a great job of finding the vision & look for each bride and also finding that perfect dress. I had a rough idea of what I wanted, but probably never would have been able to find such a beautiful dress that fit me/my wedding so well had it not been for the help of Nancy and her keen eye. She was also so friendly, perky, positive and unassuming that she took any stress out of the "search for the perfect dress" for me. Plus the shop itself manages to be very classy and glamorous (and fun!) without the stuffiness you get in other showrooms/shops.

I have known many brides to get their dresses here and all have incredibly positive things to say. I always send girls here who ask no matter what stage of the dress hunt they are in. This was maybe the 2nd or 3rd place I went and I knew right away it was going to be the last. LOVE The White Dress!

The staff there is so experienced and fantastic, they really understand dresses, know their inventory and listen to what you want. Best place to get wedding gown & bridesmaid dresses! I was in grad school & working full time and I picked this place out of convenience but the girls here were seriously phenomenal. Katie helped me find my perfect dress & Lauren helped me find my bridesmaids dresses. The customer service was amazing! You need to make an appointment and I recommend coming in with you mom and whoever else you want to see you try on dresses with, it's very fun. Once you pick your dress & purchase it, you pop champagne and sip with your girlfriends! It's such a fun time and seriously I stopped by there for almost all my accessories too. Their jewelry designer Renee was wonderful! This place is a pretty pricey but seriously the BEST place to get a gown!

This store is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in they make you feel so welcome and they are so helpful and eager to please! I was so happy with the whole experience - which I was nervous about since my last few dress shopping experiences were not this way. They make you feel like a princess. The consultant I was working with went above and beyond to make sure I tried on everything I saw that I liked - even though it was more than 20 dresses! Even after I thought I had found the one she encouraged me to try on some "just for fun" dresses too! My appointment went over and another appointment showed up but I still received the same attention as if I was the only one in the store. The whole experience was amazing! They have so many designers and styles of dresses! I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I loved The White Dress! I had the most positive experience shopping for and buying my wedding dress, veil, and jewelry! All of the consultants are so friendly and helpful. The boutique is beautiful and intimate. They have great customer service. I recommend this place hands down! They also had a great referral list for alteration places, since they do not do alterations.

I wanted a dress that wasn't frilly and poofy, and something that was as unique as our venue. Alex suggested the most perfect dress that was a bit art deco, no poof. Loved everything about the experience and couldn't recommend the store highly enough. They truly have something for everyone without being pushy and over the top. Great experience!

Found THE dress here! I told them my budget and they were very helpful and helping me stay under! They accidentally pulled a dress WAY over my budget that I loved (it didn't have a price tag, so it's not their fault), but then they found a similar dress that I loved even more that was under my budget. I LOVED the White Dress. Of all the places I went to to look for a dress, this by far was the place that most made me feel like a bride and made sure I had a good time, as well as the people I brought with me. They have a huge selection of dresses at a wide variety of prices. I found my dress here first, but then went to another appointment and found the same dress at a better price. I like The White Dress so much that I went back to them because I liked them better. They were very accommodating and were open to negotiating the price to an amount I could afford!

The BEST bridal salon in SoCal! I came into the store frantic because my wedding was in 4 weeks and the dress I bought from a different shop I decided I hated. I worked with Alex who was so kinda and patient. She brought me exactly what I was looking for and worked with me to have the dress ready in such short time. The salon is absolutely beautiful and has a great selection of gorgeous gowns. You can't go wrong if you shop here!

I had such a pleasant experience getting my dress. The staff at the white dress were super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I ended up with my dream dress and it was less than 3000 dollars, Hooray! I love how after you purchase a dress from their store, they open a bottle of champagne to toast the success, then you get to sign the cork and add it to the vases!

Many thanks to the staff at The White Dress! My daughter flew in for her wedding in Newport Beach, CA the day prior to the wedding from BVI without a veil. The fabulous ladies at The White Dress found exactly what she was looking for and allowed us to purchase the floor sample which was in perfect, new condition! Where do I begin? I first came to the White Dress about 8/9 months before my wedding (which was this September). I thought the store in general had the best selection of dresses compared to the other shops I went to in OC and even LA. They may not have the same volume, but I think it's bc they do a great job in weeding out all the crap that's out there. Nancy was my consultant, and she was absolutely fantastic. So sweet and totally understood what I was looking for. My two month long search finally ended and I selected a dress that was supposed to be made to measure. To make a LONG story short, my dress finally came in 3 weeks prior to my wedding (very late, but at no fault to the White Dress). To my absolute horror, the dress was a complete disaster. Not only did the dress make me look like a box and not fit me, the quality of the dress was laughable for what was supposed to be a custom couture gown. The girls sent me straight to their tailor and unfortunately she said the work was so poor that there was nothing she could do to make the dress wearable. I came back to the White Dress now in a bit more of a panic and could not have been more impressed with their response and the action they took to rectify the situation. Nancy immediately brought me over to a trunk show they were having which had the most stunning dresses I have ever seen. She and the rep stayed about 2 hours after close till I finally found my dream dress. I was able to purchase a sample gown and have it tailored and ready for my wedding 3 weeks later. Needless to say, Nancy and Brielle (the manager) literally saved my wedding day. I got so many compliments on my dress and cannot thank them enough for what they did for me.
And on a side note... Renee, the woman who does the accessories and veils is amazing! She is so sweet and was so concerned about my situation. She was able to make me a custom veil in less than a week and it turned out so beautifully. She is extremely talented at what she does.

I knew I wanted to get my dress from The White Dress from day one but I had gone to one of the big chain stores first to just see what is out there and maybe find a style I liked. That was a bad idea, the dresses that had were just awful and felt way cheaper than the prices they were charging.

So on to The White Dress it was. The store is unbelievably cute! It's small but makes the process feel very intimate, there aren't going to be 10 other brides in there fighting for mirror space. The dresses aren't shoved in plastic bags either! The manager Brielle helped me find the perfect dress, I brought in a few pictures and she was able to pull the most amazing dresses for me....and that were in my price range. It was a hard decision because all of their dresses are so beautiful and so well constructed but I finally "said yes" to the one. They even open a bottle of champs to celebrate, you then can write something on the cork and leave in one of the vases throughout the store!

If you are on a very tight budget you probably aren't going to find something here. But they do have a affordable dresses if you don't want to break the bank, or if you do they have those too!

I tell all of my friends who are getting married to at least go here once and try on dresses, you won't be disappointed!

The customer service is the best I ever received. The staff is extremely patient and want to see you in love with the dress! Highly recommend any bride to be to come visit the white gown, you won't regret your decision. I love my dress!

If you want the perfect dress, and the perfect shopping experience, look no further than The White Dress. Nancy was absolutely WONDERFUL. She was able to find my dream wedding dress after just a brief description of what I was looking for. They also custom made my accessories (a gorgeous hair piece and a different belt than what came with my dress). I would highly recommend it. I drove almost 2 hours to get there several times- and let me tell you, it was worth the drive.

4th try is the charm! I tried the following places:
- David's Bridal - Torrance
- Bridal Elegance - Torrance
- La Soie - Torrance
- The White Dress - Corona del Mar

Basically, the order in which I tried bridal salons is the order in which I would rank, from lowest to highest. After the previous three places, The White Dress was a breath of fresh air. The décor is warm and the service is friendly. Briel was my attendant, and she is FABULOUS!!! I was the only customer Briel was serving, and I never felt rushed. I was also not told that I had a limit to how many dresses I could try on, which I was told and previous places. Briel had a great eye for what would look good on me, and I was very happy with her selections. The quality of the dresses here is excellent, and they have a large assortment of styles. I was happy that Briel stayed within my given price-range.

The first dress she pulled for me ended up being the dress that I bought, and we were treated to a glass of champagne to celebrate! I'm very happy with my dress and the overall experience.

UPDATE: I returned here with my bridesmaids to try on their dresses, and all of us were extremely happy with the service that Briel provided us. We were allowed to bring a bottle of champagne (as long as it's clear, so it doesn't stain anything!). She was very attentive, and patient, expecially given there were 6 girls pulling her in different directions. I love the bridesmaid dresses here, my only "complaint" is that they are about $300. The quality IS fabulous, so if that's affordable for your girls, I would suggest coming here!

I came here in the Spring of 2013 to look at wedding dresses. I had made an appointment and i brought my Mom and bridesmaids with me. My bridal stylist was Katie and she was amazing!!!! I showed her a bunch of pictures of what i was liking and she went and picked a dress out for me that i instantly fell in love with. I looked a round for a bit with my Mom and my girlfriends and Katie pulled a few more gowns for me to try on.

I tried the first dress that Katie had pulled for me . . . and instantly fell in LOVE with it! I tried on 8 other dresses after that . . . all gorgeous dresses, but each time, i would say, "It's pretty, but i still like the first one better". After 9 dresses . . . I put the first one back on and I knew that I had this was the one.

Next, we went the other half of the store and looked at Bridesmaid dresses . . . within 15 minutes we found a gorgeous Navy blue dress that all my Bridesmaids loved, my Mom found her Mother of the Bride Dress and we were toasting with some bubbly. I had to cancel our afternoon appointment at another Bridal salon . . . after all, what would be the point. I even found my veil, hair piece and sash at the White Dress . . . all custom made by Renee Pawele. Thank you to the White Dress for an unforgettable wedding dress experience.

Thank you to the White Dress for making my daughter feel like a VIP. We sipped champagne while she tried on dresses. After about an hour we found the perfect dress! It was a little expensive but worth every penny. Their alterations team did a wonderful job. Thank you.

The lovely ladies at The White Dress were absolutely wonderful!!! They did a great job of helping me find the perfect dress for my personality and our wedding day! Brittney was so much fun to work with! I love that they pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate finding the perfect dress!

The White Dress was fantastic! I went shopping here on a whim and happened to be there during a trunk show. I found my dress after trying on maybe 3 or 4. I can't remember who helped me but she was awesome and definitely listened to what I wanted. She brought me a few dresses simply because my mom and mother-in-law requested it, but we agreed in the dressing room that I wasn't trying them on. They were double what I wanted to pay and she was concerned for my sake. :) I appreciated that. When I found my dress, they gave us champagne to celebrate. It was a fun experience! One thing they don't offer here is alterations, but I was able to find one on my own.

This is quite simply the best bridal salon on the West Coast. I was so lucky to go there for my very first outing to try on gowns, and to work with Leah who was so wonderful. I had no idea what I wanted and she patiently helped me figure out what styles & details I was drawn to - and to find my dream gown! I went to one other "premier" bridal salon in Orange County, and it was nowhere near as nice and the service was subpar. At the White Dress, you truly feel like a princess. All the girls working there are so friendly and knowledgable, and really love weddings and helping brides find The One. I could not be happier or more grateful to have been a White Dress bride!

I really love The White Dress. I ended up getting my dress, belt, veil, hairpiece, and bridesmaid dresses from them, so I was at the store practically weekly for awhile there! The girls that work there are great, particularly Brielle, who is so sweet on top of being an awesome stylist. Everything I ordered came in ahead of schedule and with no issues. They have the most beautiful dresses and accessories....I must admit I am kind of sad my wedding is over so I have no reason to shop there anymore!

They have the most beautiful dresses and friendly sales associates! My mother and I both purchased our dresses here. They worked with our budgets and did fabulously on the sizing. Neither of us needed any alterations!! My dress was my dream come true and my mother never looked so beautiful!! We are so grateful to the white dress! Their dresses are absolutely gorgeous, they carry only the best, and not so many as to overwhelm you. I was able to get my dress in just 2 hours of shopping and not feel totally overwhelmed. and still get the most beautiful dress! So beautiful, that even though I received it 10 months before my wedding... everytime I looked online to see if maybe I liked something better I never did. and I received endless compliments on it!

The White Dress is the most amazing bridal store! It is elegant, pretty, professional, and so amazingly friendly. They have a large selection of beautiful dresses. All of the ladies there made me feel like a princess. I felt pampered. Nancy was a gifted bridal consultant. She really knew what she was doing. She listened to what I wanted, what looked good on me, paid attention to my reactions, and she picked the perfect dress for me. I felt so beautiful at my wedding. Everyone loved the dress, especially me! The ladies at the White Dress make it such a special event when you buy your dress there. There is no need to go anywhere else!

I love everything about my experience at The White Dress. I purchased my dress and all of my bridesmaids here. The gown came in fitting perfect with the exception of needing to be bustled. And the bridesmaid dresses needed a little altering, but came in just as expected. My stylist did a great job with assisting me with my look, and the staff responded to all of my inquires and status updates.

I found my Watters wedding gown at The White Dress and absolutely loved my experience there. The girls who work there are all very helpful and when I found my dress, they popped a bottle of champagne and had me sign the cork and make a wish and drop it into their cork vases on the way out. It was very cute.
The only downside is that they don't do any alterations there - but it really doesn't matter too much. They have a list of recommended specialists and we took my dress to L'Mode Bridal to have Dorie Kong alter it.
Overall nice experience, and the boutique is very cute - I definitely felt special when I was there.

The White Dress makes your bridal dress search everything you imagined it would be and more. Their costumer service is magnificent. The White Dress has a wide variety of wedding gowns as well as bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses. I got my wedding dress here and they did a great job with my dress. I had some complications with my dress and they handled it very well. When my dress came in there were multiple things wrong with it (just not put together (sewn) with the same quality of the sample dress I had tried on) but they sent it back, had my dress remade, and had it back to the store within a month. I also got my bridesmaid dresses from here and they were great! They had a wide variety of dresses to choose from which made it easy to find just what I was looking for. I highly recommend The White Dress!

If you want to be treated like the beautiful bride that you are, you must go to The White Dress. I took my mom with me dress shopping and we had the greatest time here and found my dress after just about 5 try-ons. I fell in love with "the dress".
The store is super cute and they have tons of different options to choose from. The staff is very knowledgable, so I would definitely trust their opinions as well.
The whole experience is just what it should be when you are a bride to be!

From the time I first walked into The White Dress to the time I walked out with my dress, the people in the store made me feel like I was the only bride there. I had a wonderful experience shopping for my dress. I didn’t feel rushed, I felt special, I felt like they were there to help me find THE dress and I did! I feel in love with the most beautiful dress and it was $1100 under my budget. I don’t know about the rest of the prices there but they didn’t try to sell me on dresses that were at the top of my price range or over my budget, they showed me dresses that I loved. My dress came in a month ahead of schedule. The only thing is that they don’t have an in-store alterations department. You have to find one on your own. They give you a list of alteration places that other brides recommend (they are not affiliated with them and do not vouch for them). Unfortunately the alterations place I choose I wasn’t all that happy with. But overall my whole experience was so wonderful and they make you feel so special!

Staff was very helpful! Dresses were beautiful, bought first dress she put me in! My dress was on time, and perfect!!!! I used the lady upstairs for alterations and she made my dress perfect!!! I got my dress at a sample sale at The White Dress the day after Thanksgiving. I made an appointment just like buying a regular dress and I wasn't treated as if I were a sample sale client. I got very personalized attention and the saleswoman was even able to get my sister (who lives in Europe) on a web cam so she could share in choosing my dress from overseas!

The woman that helped me was a doll and she helped me find the perfect dress that I may not of found on my own. The sample fit me perfectly and I was able to buy it for a 30% discount! I also used the woman who works upstairs, Tara, for alterations and she did an amazing job.

I went to several stores looking for my gown, and The White Dress store was the last one I went to because I had finally found the dress! The service was excellent. It is a small intimate store which I preferred much more to David's Bridal. The price range was just within my budget. The gowns their are very high quality. They dress that I picked was Amy Michelson Rock Star, a beautiful, elegant, intelligient and sexy dress made of silk. Right after I chose the dress the staff popped a bottle of champagne and poored my friends, family and I a glass. It was a highly enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

The White Dress is a bride's dream boutique. Its cute, its adorable and all the staff are super helpful, patient and friendly. It was so fun to celebrate finding THE dress with Champagne in the store. The best part - my parents weren't with me when I found the dress, but I was able to call them remotely and use the White Dress' awesome web cam so my parents could see me live in my dress from the store!

The White Dress consultants were very helpful and friendly. They carry amazing gorgeous stuffs that are hard to find elsewhere. I bought my veil, head piece and I am very lucky to order my bridesmaid dresses at there. It took only a month to receive all the seven dresses. They referred us to see Dorie and the crew of L'Mode Bridal Alterations Specialist located in Tustin for the alterations. They did great job for my bridesmaids. One of them was 8 months pregnant and amazingly they can restyle it and made it wearable, fitted her and still looked flattering. I salute Dorie's work and her commitment to her job . I thanked The White Dress not enough for referring to the professional who does quality job.

By the time I got to my appointment at The White Dress, I had already visited 5 other bridal stores and tried on at least 5 dresses at each of those stores. Suffice it to say, I wasn't sure I would find anything new here. But, their range of dresses and designers is broad, and the staff were super patient with me (although, it was a pretty dead Monday afternoon) as I tried on many more than the average bride (I asked), and very helpful in making recommendations. In fact, the dress I ended up purchasing was one that I initially passed over on the rack. They really listen to what you're looking for, and are not pushy in sales. They also worked with me in customizing a few details on my Amsale Cecily dress, to change up where some of the buttons and ribbons would sit on the back. And, when the dress came in a few months later missing the extra ribbon on the back, they contacted me with a couple of solutions for me to choose from as to how to get it fixed (the store ended up sending it back to the designer).

There was a slight delay on the original delivery of the dress - it ended up arriving a couple weeks after the store told me it would - but I didn't take any stars off because I had plenty of time and this didn't actually effect anything for me. Just wanted to include here for reference.

The shop is beautiful and the staff is so friendly! I made an appointment and visted the shop on a Friday afternoon with two of my bridesmaids. My consultant was Andrea. She was so easy going and so eager to please - really just the best consultant experience I could have asked for. She was not pushy and had a really good feel for my wedding dress vision. Ladies, let me tell you... Andrea dealt with all of my crazy bridezilla nuances and made me feel super comfortable... Because, really, who is comfortable stripping down to your skivvies in front of a complete stranger? Well I was definitely more so with Andrea helping me out.

I told Andrea my budget but asked her to keep me lower if at all possible. Luckily, there was a Watters trunk show that day so she pulled a few dresses right at my budget as well as below the buget. Also, I had already been scoping out their website and she pulled a sample that I had asked to try on since I had seen it online as well. She was awesome and pulled about ten dresses for me all together. She was so patient and really gave me great input that I needed to make a choice. She was even understanding when I told her I wanted to shop around more before I officially purchased anything!

Finally, after two other appointments... I made the decision to come back to The White Dress and purchase THE DRESS!!! Andrea was able to squeeze me in on a busy Sunday afternoon so that I could re-try on the sample dress that I had fallen in love with! She also gave me another bit of really great news... They could sell me the sample dress for more than 50% off of the retail price!!!!

Once I said Yes to the dress, we popped champagne and celebrated the day away! I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a wedding dress! The consultants/stock selection/bridal salon/experience cannot be beat!

I went the White Dress on a weekday with my mom. I thought they were friendly and so nice. I must have tried on at least a dozen gowns and finally chose a a fitted dress which went out at the bottom. The top of the dress was a little loose so I did need a little nip and tuck. The girls at White Dress were so helpful and I was able to arrange alterations at the last minute, I forgot to schedule my appt. early. Oops! From the moment we walked in to the moment I picked up my dress the girls were great! I would refer them to any picky bride, like me!

I was very pleased with my experience at The White Dress. My dress was absolutely beautiful and the staff was friendly and patient while I tried on dress after dress. The stylist assigned to me even made helpful suggestions. The staff did not mind that I brought 7 people with me and were friendly with everyone. There could not be a more beautiful store to try on wedding dresses and they even opened a bottle of champagne for everyone when I bought my dress.

At first I thought the vibe was a little to stuffy for me but they ended up being the warmest and easiest of vendors. I was in love with a dress from Mona mi and was devestated when they sold the dress (they don't reorder dresses once they sell). The White Dress came to the rescue when the special ordered it from the designer for me. I was so happy and couldn't have imagined a more perfect gown for my wedding. They also have a seamstress that works above the store who does amazing work! I also bought beautifl garters from The White Dress as well.

Marlis and her staff are as sweet as cotton candy. The selection of dresses are very eclectic. They recently expanded the shop and there's even more for the brides to browse through. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from the shop. Everything worked out well. Another note, they do not have an in-house seamstress, but the one they recommend was very good.

The White Dress team is fun, amazing, professional, incredibly smart about dresses, and downright friendly. They will help you find the dress that is perfect for you and walk with you all the way down the aisle! They have a limited selection and no on-site tailoring, but their dresses are top of the line and they make you feel like family. I tried my dress on multiple times, brought various bridesmaids and my mother in, had a jewelry trial, a veil trial, and they still were happy to see me! It is a great place!

I absolutely loved my stunning gown. The only complaint is that they seemed to order the dress way too big. I did lose a little weight after I ordered the gown, but my seamstress said she had to take it in like 3 sizes. There is no way I lost 3 dress sizes! I guess they figure it's better that the dress be too large than too small, but it seemed excessively big! Overall I had a good experience.

We purchased our bridesmaids dresses here. The ladies are very helpful in helping us try on and determine what best suits my wedding and helped us in getting all the bridesmaid fitted. They have gorgeous dresses there and that's why I love the shop...it's quite a high end boutique so make sure you have the budget.

I was so happy to have gone to the White Dress! All that matters is that I found my dream dress right? They were also very helpful to offer me suggestions for tailors in Los Angeles area (which I was happy with). I noticed the store could get very crowded so I would recommend going on off hours ie week day so you get more attention and it is a more relaxed environment. Amazing selection for lots of different styles.

Even though I didn't have an appointment they fit me in to be one of the brides during a trunk show. I gotban amazing dress for 1/2 the price I would have psidvon any other day. The service was amazing and I loved the added touch of champagne popping when I said " yes to the dress". It's a great shop!

I had a great experience working with Nancy at The White Dress. I went in several times -- first with my fiance (that's right!), then twice with my sister. Some of the other places I went before The White Dress thought it was very odd that I brought my fiance, but not Nancy. She thought it was great. I must have tried on at least 30 gowns between the three trips and was having a very hard time making a decision, but Nancy was incredibly patient. It came down to 2 dresses, and one was twice the price of the other. She could have easily tried to push me to get the more expensive one, but she was never pushy and agreed with me when I chose the less expensive one. In fact, I found out that I could buy the same dress at a shop closer to my home (The White Dress is 1.5 hours away from where I live), so she gave me a 10% discount. And the dress arrived less than a month after I ordered it! They were also very helpful and flexible when I came in to pick it up. Great experience working with them!

The shop is beautiful and has a wide variety of upscale wedding dresses. The ladies there are all extremely helpful. Most of the dresses are very expensive so be prepared to spend a lot if you go there. They were slow to return my emails after I had purchased my dress and it was difficult at times to get an appointment.

I absolutely loved my dress that I found at the White Dress. It was perfect for me and I really enjoy the White Dress overall. My complaints are only that they lost my file twice - and never really admitted it - and I had to come in twice to do my measurements before they ever ordered my dress. I will admit they pressured me to go with the smaller size dress and they were totally right and I had to do zero alterations to my dress. They are more expensive than many bridal salons, but certainly the ambience and the selection are worth it.

A month after purchasing my gown, I learned that I had way overpaid for it! However, the ladies who work there are lovely and the store, although a bit on the smaller side, is clean and displayed nicely. What you really pay for is the fabulous customer service. I'm just so glad they had my gown!

The quality of the dresses at the White Dress is astounding! They are extremely sweet and helpful, making it such a special experience. They helped me find the dress of my dreams. The only reason I didn't give them a higher review is because they kept mixing up the days that a sample of my dress would be in the store, so I had to go back a couple of times to finally get to try it on. I had to leave work to make sure I got their in time to try it on before they sent it back and, therefore, my best friends and some family members didn't get to see me try it on. But other than that, it was great! (a little pricey though!)

This reveiw is a little hard for me to put together, but I will do my best. I purchased both my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses at The White Dress. My wedding gown experience was magnificant! My consultant Brielle was fantastic, she knew exactly what I was looking for while staying within my budget. I found the perfect gown almost right away. The ambiance in the salon is great and the overall feel from the staff is great. They even set up a web cam so my mother could see me in the dress because she couldn't be there. My gown came in (a little earlier than expected) and they shipped it to me in Connecticut (where I now live) with no problems.

My bridesmaids dresses however were a different story. I am not sure who is more at fault the shop or the designer (Jim Heljm). Initially our consultant sold us a dress that turns out cannot be made in my color. All decor and groomsman colors have been set, so my color could not be changed. So then they couldn't figure out which other dresses were our back up choices, even though they were supposedly written down. Then there was a discrepency with the cost, which was figured out. They ended up giving us our back up dresses for the cost of our original choice to make up for the mistake. Because of this delay with the mix up the dresses were suppose to be rushed, but did not get in until April 10, when all of my bridesmaids were scheduled to fly out to Puert Rico (our destination wedding site) on April 18th. This left them with only about a week to get alterations done. Then......oh goodness....the dresses didn't fit! They were about 3-4 inches too small to zip up on 3 of the 4 of them. This was too much to be let out....we needed more material or a different dress. I believe this to be a designer error. So all this being said, the owner of salon overnighted material and sent my girls to the taylor that they recommend often and he rushed alterations of the dresses. The owner of The White Dress took care of the extensive tayloring fees and in the end the dresses looked great and everything turned out just fine. I will say that although there were a few major problems with the bridesmaids dresses, The White dress was always diligent about trying to fix the problem and always very accomodating and solution driven. I do appreciate the professionalism and service, and do believe this incident to be a fluke.

After having a disappointing experience there with the bridesmaids dresses, the owner responded to our complaints and has been really helpful and apologetic. She is going out of her way to help us and that's all we ask for. Mistakes happened and as a customer, I just wanted to feel that the white dress cared and was going to help me any way they can. In the end, the owner was great and said that she would try to fix any issues she may have with the staff and its procedures.

Bought my dress here as I was in a bind. There discount for off the rack actually wasnt really a discount at all. Do your homework on dress prices before shopping here. Also, not all the sales associates are equally friendly....

The boutique is really nice, the staff is very friendly. They have a wide variety of dresses at various price ranges. I purchased my wedding dress there and everything went fine up to the recommendation of the tailor upstairs - trust me, don't go there - but that's another story. This recommendation is the reason for the 3 stars on professionalism.

There was a glitch at the payment step. I came in and rushed to make a decision due to the "Designer trunk show 10% discount" but they failed to inform me that my dress was not expensive enough to qualify for the discount. This was not stated or posted anywhere until paying for the dress. Even though I loved my dress, this felt like a bait and switch and was a bad experience.

I also got all the bridesmaids dresses there. There was an issue with the ordering that frustrated me - our wedding was coming soon and the White Dress failed to inform us that the order was on hold due to a pending payment from one of the bridesmaids. They claim to have a policy that didn't allow them to tell the bride anything about the bridesmaids dresses. Luckily, we caught the issue in time and the order came in on time - but beware and manage every detail of your order, because they won't. This is the reason for 3 stars on quality of service and 2 stars on flexibility. For the sales staff, they are 5's.

Bottom line, great place to go try on dresses, but not the best place to buy.

when i first walked into the store i was blown away with the quality and amount of dresses they had. Working with Nancy was a dream, we found my dress within a couple of hours. I also purchased my bridesmaids dresses from here. Although the store has great merchandise and is lovely i did have some problems. First I felt that i got great customer service when i was buying the dresses. After that not so much. I had several problems with my bridesmaids gowns. first of all i came in with all my girls in october to buy the dresses, they charged them all then but then didnt really order them till december, which made the pickup date less then a month before the wedding. When i found out my bridesmaid was pregnant and needed a bigger size they wouldnt change the size for her and we had to spend an extra $100 for fabric that didnt come in till the week of the wedding and the store did not offer to pay for any of it. Also they forgot to mention that my vendor doesnt do custom sizing and my dress was too short and they wouldnt help me with that and told me to just take it to alterations, which i had to pay $50 to lower the waist which they didnt help take care of either. once they get their money i felt they could care less about my issues. I probably wouldnt go back there for anything else.

This bridal shop was pretty typical. They had some helpful staff, but the consultant who helped me originally was unprofessional and pushy. She seemed to think that I was wasting her time. If I had it to do over again I would have purchased my gown directly from the source, Priscilla of Boston.

I did not purchase a bridal gown here, but did pick out my bridesmaids dresses as well as purchase a dress for my rehearsal dinner. My initial experience with them was great and my sales associate Katryn was wonderful.

Fast forward to after we paid them. Major problems: Dresses were late, and ordered too large. I, along with a few of my bridesmaids, vented to the sales associates and owner about our dissatisfaction, but she would not cooperate with us. While the dresses themselves (shape, color, quality were beautiful: Amsale) if we were to do it again, we'd order from another boutique.

Out of 5 bridesmaids and the 1 ordered for myself...6 total, 1 dress fit. We got measured by their staff for a custom fit, not to have to spend another $80/dress on dresses that already cost $270. One of my bridesmaids was told to try on a sample Wonderbra they had and then measured over that, after she insisted that it was far too large for her. The sales associate would not even let her try on their sample size as she said it was stretched out and she would be bigger regardless. This bridesmaid wears a size 4 typically....she was ordered a size 10. Not good.

On top of all this the dresses were late and had to be altered 1.5 weeks before the wedding.

Overall, this is not a vendor I would recommend
