The venue is new and so beautiful! They are flexible and really cater to your dream wedding!!

Had a great experience planning an Indian covid wedding on the outdoor terrace at the Westin. This venue is a hidden gem in the medical center with its unique rooftop terrace. We had our ceremony in one section of the azure ballroom & reception out on the beautiful terrace. Everything exceeded our expectations!

My experience was has been amazing so far! Kristina is very knowledgeable, flexible, has consistently followed up throughout this process! I am planning my wedding and have had many changes due to Covid and she has been understanding and accommodating! I would definitely recommend working with Kristina.

Our experience with Kristina B. and the greater team has been exceptional. I've met with various vendors throughout our wedding process and the differentiator of having an event at The Westin Medical Center is Kristina's passion for her work coupled with the continuity of the staff's hospitality. This team will meet your excitement and detail of your wedding/any celebration! She is passionate and professional and there is no greater combination than that. Our celebration hasn't happened but will update with pictures once the time comes.

When we toured the hotel and venue we loved the modern and open design with the outdoor terrace area. We were able to see the rooms and suites which looked so comfortable, relaxing, and clean. It made us excited to have our guests stay here before and after our wedding.

Kristina has been very helpful and knowledgable during the entire process of booking the venue. She is quick to respond to any questions we may have and the entire Westin team has been extremely pleasant to work with. We can't wait to have our wedding here!

My fiancee and I were pleasantly impressed by the flexibility and understanding of the staff. During these COVID times we were unsure of signing an agreement on uncertain times, but the Westin and Kristina have allowed us to bring some of our own vendors and provided benefits that make their offer a very competitive one. We have decided to have our wedding in September 2020 and we're hurrying to align everything for the big day. We will let you know how it all turns out!

We were told to look into this hotel by my MIL because she works in the area. I wasn't really into the idea of having our wedding in a ballroom, but when we went to go see the space with the terrace and all the windows it was amazing and modern! It's so hard to find a modern looking venue at the right price. I did not want the overly ornate look that most hotels seem to have set up for their ballrooms. Meeting Kristina was great! She is on top of everything, even when we had many questions out of typical business hours. You will not be dissapointed hosting at this venue! Our wedding is scheduled for this November, so I will update this review after the big day!

Got married 8/1/20. Our experience with The Westin Houston Medical Center exceeded our expectations. Kristina is AMAZING at what she does; extremely responsive, professional, and accommodating. Planning a wedding during COVID is not easy, but Kristina and her crew took a huge amount of stress off of our shoulders. We just knew that we were in such great hands. The hotel is beautiful; the ceremony and reception were beautiful. I honestly can’t say one negative thing about this venue/our experience working the incredible staff. If you go with this venue I am certain you will not regret it!

Kristina and her team have been super helpful and responsive when I inquired about their venue for my wedding. We visited when it was still under construction so it was awesome to see the transformation once it was completed! I love the modern/contemporary look throughout the venue. They have this LED lighting in the ballroom that changes colors so you could save money by not getting uplighting. The location is very convenient for our out of town guests since the METRO rail is right outside for them to use for exploration. Best part is that the venue is new and right in the middle of the Medical Center. Who doesn't love the city views?! Perfect for a rooftop terrace ceremony during sunset. Looking forward to more wedding planning with this amazing venue and team. Thanks for taking care of us!

My fiancé and I are currently planning for our wedding which will be later this year. Stella Haral and her team at the Westin Medical Center have been extremely flexible, reliable and transparent throughout this entire process especially in the midst of uncertainty that COVID-19 brings. Wedding planning can be a stressful process, but we are so at ease knowing we’re in good hands with this team and this venue!

Our wedding at the Westin Medical Center was perfect! Kristina and her team were exceptional and willing to help with whatever was needed. They are everything you need in a team to make the planning for your special day (or any event). Kristina is easy to work with, responsive, accommodating, honest, thoughtful, and didn't miss a single detail! She guided us every step of the way and helped us customize our event to meet our vision.

You'll fall in love with the vibe and the space. Not only do you get a brand new space, but it also has character from the historic building. The Westin sets up a beautiful event space (floor to ceiling windows and the natural ceiling light installations are so special), local art installations, transitional ballroom space, and it even has a gorgeous outdoor patio. They help plan the flow for the cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception.  
The drinks, food, and wait staff were all excellent. They curate everything to your taste. You couldn't ask for a better team and experience for your special day. Our guests are still raving about the hotel and the event. 

Kristina and team have been incredibly flexible, responsive, and accommodating. We were choosing between a few different venue options, but we chose Westin truly because of the incredible customer service we've received. I am very Type A. And my fiance and I have had a material number of requests. What made Kristina and Westin different is that not once has she made us feel bad or said no - Kristina is VERY resolution-oriented which I value and find rare with venue coordinators. The hotel is also brand new and beautiful - one of the few in the area with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, a ballroom that can accommodate 500 guests, and two outdoor patios for ceremony/cocktail hour. All of these elements made it a no-brainer for us. We are having a two day South Asian wedding, and Westin has been able to work with us so we could have it all and stay in budget. Highly recommended!
