    The Westin Galleria is The Best!

    Working with the Westin Galleria Houston was absolutely incredible! From the initial appointment to the execution of my clients event, the Westin Galleria staff was helpful and courteous throughout the entire planning process. Catherine and John made the entire process seamless with their organization, effective communication, and impeccable customer service! The actual wedding for my client was EVERYTHING! The staff was so helpful. Anything we asked for, they provided, with a smile! The food was great, the staff was stellar, and the ballrooms are unmatched! I can't wait to host another event at the Westin Galleria Houston! You will not be disappointed by hosting your events at the Westin Galleria Houston!

    Sister’s wedding

    I hosted my sister’s wedding at Westin Oaks Galleria. I was impressed with the wedding team members. They are great and hard working. I really enjoyed working with all of them. Everything went flawlessly and smooth on the day of the wedding. I didn’t have to worry about anything. I wanted to personally thank Madison, Belen and Tom. I highly recommend them for my friends wedding.

    The event team at the Westin was absolutely spectacular in helping us secure room blocks for our out of town guests/family. They gave us a fantastic block rate, and with a certain number of nights booked, allowed us the Suite at our contract rate!!!! Our room was HUGE and the staff made us feel so welcome - they even gave us a congratulatory card, bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on our wedding night!!! The location is perfect too - attached to the Galleria if you need some last minute shopping or if your guests want to walk or eat there are shops and restaurants everywhere! If you are needing accommodations for yourself, friends or family for your wedding, this is the place.

    Beautiful venue with friendly, responsive and helpful director!

    We looked at several venues and selected The Westin. Nicki is friendly and awesome! My questions were always responded to promptly with no pressure at all! She was also flexible and able to take care of our needs. And I had a lot of them! We are very excited to have the wedding reception at the Westin and working through all the details with the hotel to organize the upcoming reception!

    The westin galleria was an amazing venue for our reception. It has not been used in the Indian community as much and Courtney was a pleasure to work with. They are a bit on the expensive side since they are in the Galleria but it was a wonderful venue.

    I was quite unhappy with my experience with the Westin. Being an expensive, upscale hotel, I had high expectations that were not met.

    I booked the Monarch Room and the entire 24th floor for my wedding reception. I originally wanted 10/24/15 but there was another event that morning so I moved it to 10/17. Later, I was told that they booked another event that day too! I was very upset since planning was well underway but the Westin assured me it would be set up in time. This happened again with the conference rooms on the 24th floor guaranteed for my event. One of the rooms (Royal) was to be set up for cocktail hour. I found out 2 WEEKS before that the Royal room was being used by a different group for another event. I made my sales manager recover the room. This showed me they had no consideration for my event and were only interested in maximizing their profits.

    I was working with Takara Crawford but a month before my wedding, she told me she would not be present because she was going out of the country. She said another sales manager would know all about the details. FALSE. They should have transferred the account to another sales manager but they assured me it would be fine. Many of the things they guaranteed were not done. My guests have pictures of their staff still setting up as they were being seated. The other sales manager that took over knew very basic details. The Royal Room ended up being used for STORAGE and they had to set up a diffrent room for cocktails hour. If I wanted a different room, I wouldn't have made a big deal over the Royal. They didn't know how to turn on the track lights for my first dance even though I specifically asked for it. My wedding planner had to bring in another person and run things because no one at the Westin knew what they were doing and would have been more delayed. I met with the directors and they gave me a small refund but there are ruined memories I'll never be able to redo
