We had the pleasure of having our event at TWE. From the moment we arrived for one of their open house events, we knew it was where we wanted our perfect day to be. It offers such a modern, yet intimate vibe and the staff is so friendly and communicative. We 100% recommend TWE for all your events!!! Thank you for making our night so perfect!

Hurricane Helene come through and wipe out our venue for the reception, the beach became unavailable for the ceremony too. The West Events stepped up with the assistance of our Wedding Planner Kristin Wright at Just Wright Events LLC, and within a day we had a new venue with accommodations for the ceremony.
Everything was spectacular, the facility is beautifully set up to give you the outdoor space with a comfortable inside dinning area. My daughter was over the hill with excitement having her ceremony and reception at The West Events which in turn Mom was ecstatic with joy. We had planned this wedding for over a year and thanks to The West Events it was successful! I would highly recommend utilizing The West Events for all your venue needs.

We had the honor of having our wedding at The West Events.
We toured 3 places this being the first, i knew right away it would be a good fit. My husband was at first concerned it might not be big enough (we weren't 100% sure on the size we were having but assumed maybe 80 people) After our two other tours he looked at me and said well that is definitely the one!

Maria was incredible to work with right from the start!
We had the pleasure of taking a private tour and also attending their fun expo event which allowed us to see the space with decorations and layout examples. The venue its self is super fun! The courtyard is gorgeous and make for amazing photos, the space was the perfect size. We had an outside ceremony, but having the backup space inside was certainly a huge plus!

They have lots of in-house items you can rent directly from them which is nice as well. The long wood tables are to die for!
Their payment system was really easy to operate and track your payments.

We ended up having about 68 guests and a live band of 2 people. For us the space worked well. I think it would have been very tight had it been the original expectations of 80 people.

Amazing venue! We had our wedding here on 2/4/24 and it was dynamic, well-run, and fabulous. Our ceremony was in the west wing, cocktail hour outside on the patio, and reception in the blue ribbon room. The flow of the event couldn't have been better. Great selection of preferred vendors to choose from and Maria was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process.

The industrial modern vibe went perfectly with our classic/ romantic wedding.

This venue is in a great location if you are local to the area and/or if you have guests traveling in for the wedding.

Our wedding was a dream come true because of The West. Everything we envisioned came to life thanks to the amazing staff, Maria, and all of the vendors they recommend! The space is so unique and felt like we had 3 weddings in one! The beachy vibe, the bright modern vibe, and the moody romantic industrial vibe! It was perfect and I can not say enough amazing things about The West Events!!

Maria from the West is just incredible - no ask was ever too big and she was always very contactable. I live in the UK, so having someone who would get back to me promptly was very important to me. She is so kind and caring and will make sure you have the best day of your life. The West is just a magical beautiful venue, the way the space is built, allows you to create the wedding of your dreams! I can't recommend this venue more, if you want to customise and enjoy a wedding that is totally your own, you have to go with The West. You won't be disappointed and you will be sure to have the best day of your life!

My husband & I recently had our wedding at The West Events on 11/02/2023 and we cannot recommend this venue enough! As we started our venue search after our engagement in 2021, we were feeling doubtful that we would find a venue within our price range until we came across Th West Events and their “micro wedding all inclusive package”. The venue manager, Maria was extremely kind and answered all of our many questions throughout the planning process right up until the wedding day.The location, right across from the beach made it even better. The venue is so beautiful and has such an open floor plan that allowed all of our guests to enjoy every part of the venue throughout the night! All of the vendors through the all inclusive package were beyond amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. We will be recommending The West Events to any and everyone we can!

TWE showed flexibility immediately when our wedding was abruptly changed from December 2023 to June 2023 due to my husband's last minute military orders. They accommodated our change and answered every question we had via email (there were ALOT). The venue itself offered gorgeous industrial/chic vibes for our boho/chic wedding, excellent staff and top notch vendor lists. I have only good things to say about this venue and their staff.

The West Events was the 3rd venue my (now) husband and I toured, and the 3rd time really was the charm! We loved the space! It was exactly the vibe we were looking for, we loved the inside and outside aspect of it. It ended up being more spacious than I originally thought. I also LOVED Maria! She was so sweet and welcoming when we met her, and that never changed! Any time I would communicate with her she was so helpful and sweet! All around amazing experience!

Just over a year ago I walked into The West Events after having a mediocre consultation with another local venue. Laurie greeted me at the door and right away I had a pretty strong feeling that this venue was everything I wanted in a space to get married in. The location and vibe of this venue is unique and beautiful. I loved that it had an industrial feel with the concrete floors and exposed ceilings. I loved that there is different spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all on the same property and and I loved that you could tell the women who run this establishment pride themselves in providing only the best experiences. Maria was always happy to answer any random questions I thought of over my year+ of planning, and was always very quick to respond. As for the day of, it was beautiful and the team of people working together to make everything come to life was beyond impressive. I think our guests were wow’d as much as we were. I never really had a “dream wedding” in mind growing up, but this was it. It was fantastic start to finish and now a week later it’s still taking up most of my mind. The only difference is before the wedding, there was a lot of anxiety; now we’re both just reliving how perfect our night was at The West Events.

What a beautiful location! So nice to have a venue across the street from the beach without having to have the ceremony on the beach. We loved the modern industrial look for our summer tropical Boho wedding! Maria was great and very helpful and so kind! Thank you for making our day so wonderful!

When first looking at venues, TWE stood out for numerous reasons. It was affordable especially with what is included in the rental price and you just can’t beat the industrial/modern vibe that my husband and I preferred. We had 125 guests and had the ceremony in the larger “blue ribbon” room, cocktail hour outside on the covered patio, and reception back inside in the same ceremony space that was flipped during cocktail hour. Everyone fit comfortably with enough room for a dance floor. The night more than exceeded our expectations in large part due to all of the amazing vendors and event managers/planners I chose to work with. I highly recommend The West Events!

I had the absolute best experience with The West Events! The experience was perfect from the day of booking through the day of the ceremony. Maria was so helpful and made the space look just as I envisioned. It was honestly so beautiful and I’m very happy that I chose them for my big day.

I only visited one venue, and I just knew that I had to get married at The West Events! The venue manager and staff were communicative, knowledgeable, and timely in their responses leading up to the event. I loved that we were able to do everything in one place - the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Having everything together allowed us to truly live in the moment, and we didn't have to worry about travel or transportation. We had selected all of their vendors off of their approved vendor list, and every single one was incredible! One of my favorite things about the venue is that it's like a blank canvas. You can really let your imagination run wild! I truly don't have one negative thing to say about the venue. The price was very reasonable for all that was included, and I would highly recommend The West Events to anyone who is looking to get married in the future!

This event space is one of those places where you walk in and say, "Yup, this is it!" At least that's what we did. Its industrial/modern vibe is so perfect. And they have multiple rooms and space, making it easy to plan a wonderful day without leaving the property. And we can't begin to say how nice the event space staff is, as well as all of the vendors we utilized from their preferred list. I'm sure we will be back there whenever we have other event needs.

The team at The West Events is top notch! We had a wonderful experience with Maria and she went above and beyond with recommendations, answered any questions and was super helpful in general! The space was beautifully renovated and all of our guests were comfortable and loved the venue!

This venue is beautiful and was absolutely perfect for my big day! If you are looking for a more industrial, modern venue, this is your place! It comes with a bonus - a beautiful courtyard area and stunning bar.

They are priced right and experience was amazing! Flipped the room seamlessly and provided extra support to get TVs going with football games for the guests. Great!!!

Beautiful Venue, Helpful Staff, Day of Wedding went very smoothly

My husband and I chose The West Events for our Halloween wedding this year and we couldn’t have been happier! They were so easy to book and to work with, and the space is amazing. Very modern and spacious, we had about 100 guests and there was plenty of room. They also have an amazing list of recommended vendors which was a HUGE help. We can not thank The West enough, especially Diana and Kristen, for everything they did to make our wedding so beautiful and stress free. You guys are awesome!

The West Events was just my dream wedding venue. So modern, convenient and lovely. Beautiful saloons with accent wood walls, very neat backyard, bride room was lovely as well. So close to the beach omg!. If you want to have a indoor wedding but still get all the beautiful beach wedding pictures this is the place. Friendly managers that make the whole paperwork looks smooth and easy. I really recommend.

We had our Wedding Reception at the West Events space on 6/21/21. We had not seen the space prior to renting it and the photos do not do it justice. Would have events here over and over. Maria was wonderful and the owners Laurie and Michele couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thank you all! We loved it.

We had an amazing planning experience and event that occurred June 21, 2021. We virtually planned our wedding in FL while residing in IL. The owners and Maria are invested in the property, and take measures to provide every detail to make your day special. Communication was easy and they were attentive to our requests. The photos of the space do not provide it justice. It is breathtaking, you can't go wrong with this choice for your event!

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago at TWE and we can't be any happier picking this venue for our wedding day. Originally we were going to get married at another venue in downtown Tampa however unfortunately that venue went under during the pandemic. We definitely panicked however I reached out to TWE and luckily they had the exact same date open. Diana was really responsive and helpful. TWE was also able to allow us to use our own vendors we picked as we had already had booked them without a fee which was even better. The space is beautiful and just what we wanted. An industrial feel that could be a one stop shop for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. This venue is a hidden gem amongst the Madiera Beach area. While we did not want to have a standard Florida beach wedding, we were close to enough to the beach area but with an industrial cool vibe. We haven't received our professional pictures yet but we cannot wait to see them as the space was gorgeous. We feel immensely lucky to have been able to share our special day here!

The West Events is an absolutely stunning venue! We got married on the beach and had our reception here, and I can not say enough about how amazing it was! The venue is so beautiful with the outdoor courtyard and the wrap around bar. We had received so many comments on how wonderful the venue was. Our wedding was better then I could've ever imagined thanks to everyone at The West Events. Especially Diana, our wedding planner at DK Event Planning. I was skeptical about the whole idea of having a wedding planner, but she assured me it was the right choice. And she was so right! Her and her assistant did such a great job that I would've never been able to pull off what they did for us on my own! I would most defiantly recommend both The West Events and Diana at DK Event Planning for any and all of your events!!

We couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. The location is right across from the beach which made it easy to grab stunning beachside photos with our bridal party. The venue itself has a beautiful industrial modern vibe with a gorgeous outdoor courtyard and a large indoor space for ceremony/reception. It was everything I could have envisioned for my classy/boho/modern aesthetic. Our guests enjoyed getting to spend a weekend at the beach and the weather was absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend this venue!

I vote this The most beautiful venue in the Tampa Bay area. Everyone was so helpful and kind .The venue has a beautiful outdoor Patio area to enjoy a amazing cocktail hour . A gorgeous bar area. A beautiful bride dressing / powder room. 2 spacious rooms for ceremonies and or reception. the venue has a warm modern, rustic, industrial feeling to it. I would definitely recommend it. Also it is across the street from the beach . You can have a beautiful sunset wedding and cross right over and have the fairytale wedding of your dreams .

This venue is fabulous! The staff, the modern atmosphere, the cleanliness, and all of it’s features, make it a one-stop-shop. You cannot find this sort of venue anywhere else on Pinellas county’s beaches. We had countless guests tell us it was the prettiest wedding they’ve ever attended. Please do yourself a favor and book your next event here!

I loved and I’m obsessed with The west events!! I would literally host every event there of I could lol. But on a more serious note my wedding came out better than I could’ve ever imagined. The venue has a beautiful location, I love the rustic environment and all the free space provided. The Powder room is so cozy and cute I felt like it was a home away from home. The bar area felt very sophisticated with a gorgeous view of the outside area and the bright green grass. Both rooms where the ceremony and the reception were held were spacious with a beautiful wooden wall. I love absolutely everything about this place I could go on and on forever.

My husband and I could not have picked a better place to have our wedding reception! We had the best wedding ever and we can’t thank the The West Event enough for all of their help along the way! All of the staff there were amazing and super helpful with everything! They always made sure that we had everything we needed and were very attentive to detail! It is such a beautiful venue inside and out! We absolutely love it there and are so thankful to everyone who made our wedding day extra special!!!

We are so lucky to have found The West Events for our elopement this past December. It was just the two of us, and we planned our wedding in 3 weeks- somehow stress free! Diana made planning our ceremony so simple- and with just a few questions she put together a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted and what we had imagined for our big day. It was so perfect and special. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and is right across the street from the beach- beautiful photos at both!

We had to change our reception kind of last minute due to some Covid restrictions we didn’t agree with. Finding The West was the best thing that could have happened. Not only do they work with your own comfortability when it comes to your covid opinion but they have great recommended vendors for all your needs for a reasonable price. Their in house wedding planner, Diana, saved me from absolutely losing my mind. The space is very large and there are endless possibilities on how to design and entertain in the space. There is also a bonus private bridal room and bathroom which was a great add on. Even though this was a change we weren’t planning on, with all the wedding craziness, it was probably better than our original venue and it felt good to support a local business as well.

The West Events was FANTASTIC for our wedding. Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the owners are amazing and we really felt like they were in our corner, to make sure that we had the day that we envisioned. They went above and beyond to help us through a multitude of last-minute changes that were beyond our control. The venue is also right across the street from the beach, which made for some great pictures.

From the moment we came across this space, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding! The layout and design was able to accommodate our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception without having to flip any of the rooms. This venue is right across the street from the beach, so you are still able to capture those dreamy sunset/sunrise photos without having to risk the weather for your ceremony or reception. It's the ideal blank canvas whether you are looking to have an abundance of florals and decor or wishing to keep things simple. We worked with Maria, and I can't thank her enough for her kindness, care and support throughout the whole process. Wedding planning is certainly stressful, but she always responded to our messages positively, in a timely manner, and made sure all of our questions were answered. The team at The West Events was very obliging and made us feel that our special day meant as much to them as it did to us. Thank you for being a part of our wedding. We absolutely loved our experience at The West. When I found it online I was sure that it would be booked for our date. We went and toured anyway, and our date turned out to be available. They were great throughout the whole process. They have open house events fairly often so we were able to check out the venue a couple of times which helped with the planning. They also had a list of preferred vendors that we’re all great.
The day of our wedding was so beautiful! We got so many compliments on our venue and how well everything went. I was thrilled to see how everything that I planned came together in the space. It was also really nice to have the ceremony and reception in one place.

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous venue! We chose The West because of the vibe, since it is totally our style we fell in love with it right away. We rented out the entire venue which let our day flow really well and guests had multiple areas to hang out. One thing that is kind of nice but also kind of frustrating is that The West only allows vendors that they approve. They make sure to tell you ahead of time which is great. This helps give you a sense of direction as well but is a little frustrating because you can be slightly limited on some decisions especially if you fall in love with a certain vendor. Our photographer we did our engagement photos with was not on the list but it was really easy to contact management to sort this out. Overall, its really not that bad to have these select folks, because our planner had worked with everyone, it protected us from any negative potential issues, and wasn't a big deal at the end of the day!

The wedding venue is perfect for hosting all of your wedding events in one location. The team is incredibly easy to work with. We are from out of town and the team was wiling to do a FaceTime walkthrough with us ahead of depositing since we weren’t able to get to see the venue in person right away.

We had the most amazing night of our lives and our guest will be talking about our wedding for a good while !! Everything was amazing ! Laurie and Maria were wonderful to work with !!

We fell in love with the place as soon as we walked in the venue. We overspent a little bit and had to hire vendors they were ok with which was unexpected.

Last July, I became engaged. Three weeks after, we had a difficult decision to make between The West Events, Armature Works, and Tampa Bay Watch. We felt The West Events space spoke to us and our needs. I loved that women-owned it and that they were a part of the LGBTQ+ community. So, we decided to host our wedding ceremony and reception there. We read the contract thoroughly, signed it, and made our deposit. The West Events requires that you use their preferred vendors, which did not bother me because they had a wide variety to choose from their list.

We began our search for a caterer in September. I thought my stress in planning would come from family and friends. I was so wrong. It was January before many of the caterers responded to our emails and phone calls. The few who were the most responsive were the most expensive. The others only responded after I expressed my frustration to Maria, TWE’s venue manager.

We met with and received proposals from seven caterers. On all proposals, I noticed an extra cost labeled venue fee. When I inquired about the venue fee, they all said this was the cost TWE charged them to use their venue. Some went further and told me I should be fortunate that they were honest about the fee because many caterers hide it. I reached out to Maria about this. Like the vendors, I am paying to use the venue. So, why does their cost fall on me? She said it was out of TWE's hands, and I disagreed. The fee exists because TWE charges their vendors. We went back and forth about this. If I was using an unapproved caterer, I could understand the reason for the fee. To require customers to use only your vendors and then hold the customer responsible for those vendor fees is bad faith.

I reviewed our contract several times. Nowhere did it state the possibility of extra fees from vendors. I brought the contract to our lawyer and agreed there was nothing written to imply additional charges. Additional fees only come when you use an unapproved vendor. So, I asked Maria if TWE could waive the fee. They refused. So, I asked if we could reduce the vendor fees to lessen the blow to my pocket. They refused. Our wedding was in June, and this exchange began in January and went on to February. We could not come to an agreement that would satisfy us both. My fiancé and I decided to terminate our contract and host our wedding elsewhere.

We emailed our notice of termination and requested a refund of our deposit. We knew deposits were nonrefundable, but we signed our contract under pretense. TWE denied our request, of course. So, I gave it to our lawyer to battle. Five months later, they said they would refund half of my deposit if I signed an NDA.

Without a doubt, TWE is a beautiful venue. You can’t ask for a better mix of indoor and outdoor space. However, if you care about who you are giving your money to and how business owners treat their customers, then TWE may not be the place for you. We ended up eloping at Wild Roots, with Elope Tampa Bay's assistance, and I wish we had known them first. It would have saved us time, money, and stress.

P.S. I was told TWE supposedly updated their contract at some point during our exchange and it is clearer on the possibility of additional fees.
