Rebeca and her team were a dream to work with. She was able to bring our ideas to life with ease and take a lot of stress and planning off of our plate! She was already very familiar with our venue, Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, which was helpful since we live the US and could not easily go visit the venue.
Rebeca's design is exceptional and she is familiar with so many local vendors/venues. She also was able to keep our budget organized and work with us to stay within our limit. Their team also helped us put together an off-site rehearsal dinner, along with a beach front welcome drinks event!
Overall, we would highly recommend getting a planner for a destination wedding, and Rebeca and the Wedding Mexico Team are a great partner! -

Throughout the planning process, Rebeca scheduled multiple meetings with us to keep us informed, organized, and supported. She was always available to answer our many questions and made us feel completely at ease every step of the way. Perfect destination wedding in San Pancho
Luis was extremely professional.
Help us decide on the perfect venue for our wedding. The decorations were classy and added a great touch to the ambiance. The mariachi was a hit and so was the DJ. No detail was left behind. Thank for making our day so memorable and special. -

I can't say enough how amazing Rebeca and her team were in planning our wedding. My fiance and I met with Rebeca when we first started thinking about getting married in Puerto Vallarta. On the day we met, she personally showed us the wedding venue we ended up selecting (with no prior appointment, I may add), as well as setting up later meetings with two other venue options.
She always took the time to meet with us during the FOUR planning trips we took prior to the wedding! She and her team were present at events for the entire three days of our wedding weekend, and everything went so smoothly.
We sent Rebeca ideas on decor and colors, but SHE turned our wedding (and three prior events!) into an absolute dream. I trusted her vision, and everything was even more perfect than I could have imagined. No detail was forgotten, including her drafting detailed budgets and timelines for us.
On the night of my wedding, Rebeca asked me how I could be such a calm bride. I could only respond, "Because I have you!" I'll never forget the most amazing weekend of our lives, and I can't recommend highly enough using Rebeca and her team.The Wedding Mexico's reply:

Magical and absolutely perfect!
Our experience with The a wedding Mexico was perfect. Rebeca and her team were very attentive and accommodating to all of our wishes. Rebeca made sure this was an event that was memorable and fun for our guests and just the perfect day for my husband and myself. She simplified the planning process of our destination wedding despite the distance and time zone difference. My fiancé embarked on this journey of planning a Mexico wedding in early 2020 after we got engaged. The pandemic hit and pushed out our date like many couples to 2021. We then pushed it out again and landed on March of 2022. We originally thought we would be able to tackle the destination wedding planning on our own but quickly found out that language barriers and lack of knowledge in the wedding planning field would render us more problems than solutions so we decided to hire out. The venue we selected was the W Hotel in Punta Mita. A fantastic location with ties to Bonvoy Marriot. They provided a wedding planner who we worked with for a couple months but quickly learned that they were overworked and weren’t going to give us the attention we felt necessary.
Instead, we decided to start looking for a wedding planner that would have our best interests at heart instead of going through the hotel-provided wedding planner. We found Rebeca and her team through research across blogs on Puerto Vallarta weddings, wedding wire website, and other avenues of research, she continued to pop up and had glowing reviews. We selected 5 or 6 wedding planners and zoom interviewed all of them over a weekend from California. Rebeca stood out to us as she really listened and didn’t do much selling to us but just asked questions. That was important to us. She also was very calming when she did talk which we both thought would be important as a wedding can already be so stressful, we needed a calming voice in our ears.
Fast forward to our visit to finalize the venue in October before the March wedding and we got to meet Rebeca for the first time. She picked us up and drove us around to see a couple activities that could be arranged for guests the week before the wedding. She also sat with us during our walk through at the W Hotel Punta Mita to finalize colors and locations of events.
Whether it was last-minute changes we had regarding flowers, music, dance floor, or seating arrangements, Rebeca was always a quick email, text, or call away from a solution, and always kept our best interests at the center of everything we were doing. When it came to arranging transportation for our wedding week to and from the airport, to and from our honeymoon destination, Rebeca was there with her contacts and professionalism.
Fast forward to the week of the wedding and my fiance and I are dealing with settling into the hotel and receiving 90+ family members from all over the place we had a million things going on. Rebeca was there with our itinerary and making sure we knew what was happening each day and available as much as we needed her. She arranged for pre-wedding activities for the guests to participate in and even canceled some last minute when we didn't hit the minimum number needed for a boat ride. She made the wedding week easy and stress free.
When the day before the wedding finally arrived and we had our final walk through at the venue (W Hotel Punta Mita) we were blindsided by a large structure that was being built in the middle of our planned reception area. It was 30-40 feet tall and looked like a TP without the canvas. I was taken back and upset that we weren't told about this earlier, but the W Hotel had made this decision without notice to us... and the hotel wedding planner failed to give notice to us about this. Rebeca worked with the hotel to get a solution quickly and it actually turned out to be really nice. The dance floor was centered under this massive structure and lanterns were hung. Rebeca and her team even grabbed all the flowers used for the Huppa or Wedding Arch to drape over the structure to add exta flare to it and really make it stand out. It was incredible!!
Rebeca and her team were there for everything the day of the wedding. She had two helpers, one for the groom and one for the bride. Anything we needed our helpers would grab or run and handle. It was such a relief to have this help when needed as we were already getting pulled in a million directions for photos etc.
We were both so happy with our decision to bring Rebeca on and would highly highly recommend it to anyone looking to plan a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta. She is super knowledgeable of all the areas and almost all of the hotels and vendors know her! I have to say you get what you pay for with her cause she goes above and beyond!
With all of this being said all foreigners planning a wedding in Mexico it has to be understood that you are not in the states and customs are different. Patience is a virtue and if you are going to go the planning route alone be prepared to exercise lots of patience. This was one reason we hired Rebeca so she could go to bat for us when the hotels were moving slowly. She was our advocate and helped fight for us when needed!

Unbelievable day

Rebeca (via The Wedding Mexico) did an amazing job at planning our wedding, despite the current state of the world due to the pandemic. She was always very responsive to all sorts of communications and kept us in the loop of major events and/or important decisions to make. She always made our wedding feel like a priority, even in the early phases when we were months (at one point a year+) from the wedding. The vendors she recommended were top class, which was reflected at the wedding. She always went above and beyond and planned for us our dream wedding. Where do i start? I don’t even know. Well... let’s just say i didn’t really know what i wanted. I just sent her my Pinterest board and she executed. EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. She made sure i was happy with every little thing. I would even go back and fourth on my decision and she NEVER was upset. Like how do you do what you do so good? To the point, we changed our “end time” the night BEFORE the wedding. Rebeca literally made my dream wedding come true. She went all out for us and even suggested things like prescheduling covid tests so our guests wouldn’t have to worry. Even took on talking to the wedding coordinator at the resort to save me the headache. I would only communicate with her directly and approve of things. She went as far as basically letting my guests book their rooms through her so that their reservations go through properly. What more can i say? She is the BEST wedding planner any bride could ask for. If i could do it again i would chose her over and over again! The out come of our wedding EXCEEDED our expectations. She works with your budget and she is VERY patient. Our guests can’t stop telling us that this was “the best wedding ever” and a lot of credit goes to her. Thank you so much Rebeca! I would do it all over again! I can honestly say that having Rebeca as our wedding planner was such a blessing. Her and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations. Rebeca and her team are beyond talented and professional. They made our wedding planning stress free and very enjoyable.
There were a few hiccups, as expected with any wedding, that were taken care of with ease through Rebeca. Even the few things that were out of her hands to fix for us- she made it so easy to find a solution and to be there for us for any help that we needed.
Rebeca made us feel like family, so working with her was like planning a wedding with a best friend who knew EXACTLY what I wanted, what I liked and what I didn’t like. Every detail mattered to her, no matter how small. She knew exactly what was important to us and made sure to make that come through and showcase us as a couple in such a beautiful and unique way.
Being a Covid destination bride was possibly one of the most stressful things I have been through. We were constantly worried about our date possibly changing, we had to reduce our wedding guest list, we had a lot more restrictions that kept changing weekly, but at any given time and with every given scenario Rebeca would have a plan b, c and d before I could even have to worry about the situation. This for me screams experience, passion, and love for what she does. She made this super stressful time feel so effortless and easy.
Rebe would go the extra mile on every single detail no matter how small just to make it perfect. We have come to really love Rebe as a friend, we are already planning a trip back just to visit her! This beautiful wedding of my dreams would’ve never been possible without her and her team, and for this I will forever be grateful and blessed to have found her. Love you Rebe!

The Wedding Mexico (Rebeca Magaña) was the planner of my sister’s wedding in PV almost 8 years ago, and I loved how everything went perfect and beautiful. We kept in touch since then, and when I got engaged my first and only choice for a wedding planner was The Wedding Mexico and Rebeca’s team. She listened the ideas my fiance and I had, and even with the COVID situation and the fact that Rebeca mainly works at Puerto Vallarta she did our wedding in the city of Guadalajara, she managed to keep my stress levels low, plan and design everything between our taste and budget, and it was all worth it, the wedding went perfectly, we felt accompanied by her and her team, my fiance and I had the most beautiful wedding, everyone in our small party had fun, felt safe, enjoyed the wonderful meals and drinks, and if there were any trouble or mishaps Rebeca made sure everything carried on perfectly and we didn’t worry about a single thing except dance, have fun and enjoy our day. Rebeca was very quick to respond and always gave us options for which to choose. I consider myself a very demanding bride and Rebeca was extremely good at working with my requests and introducing us to the right vendors to make it happen. Throughout the long planning process, Rebeca was always very professional, courteous and always went the extra mile. For instance, I’m a visual person and she made sure that on the final wedding run through I had images of every part of the wedding. This definitely calmed my nerves. The very BEST wedding planner ever
We met Rebeca from the Wedding Mexico a year before our wedding and we instantly knew we had found the right person to plan our wedding. Previously we had dealt with another non-local planner who tried to rip us off and would not work with our ideas, requests, and budget. We found Rebeca online and then met her in person. She was honest, professional, super friendly and nice, flexible, with great ideas and suggestions while keeping in mind what we wanted for our wedding. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding planner. She went above and beyond, helping us not just with the wedding but also making hotel bookings and organizing other tours for our guests. She was always on top of things and made sure that we were also on top of things, which is absolutely necessary, but in a stress-free way. She made having a wedding in another country so easy for us. Whenever people would ask me (the bride) if I was nervous or stressed, I'd say I knew I was in the best hands possible, and this was absolutely true.
As for the wedding itself, it was exactly what we wanted and more. Our guests have not stopped telling us what a beautiful and perfect wedding we had, something that speaks to Rebeca's talent and hard work as a wedding planner, as well as the very high quality of the vendors she works with. The food, the DJ, the photographer, her assistant, the center pieces and huppa, the bouquet, the wedding favours, and every little detail was just perfect. The flow of things from ceremony to cocktail hour to the dinner and then the party itself was seamless and smooth. Rebeca was there all the time, monitoring everything and making sure everything was running according to plan. In this way, we were able to focus only on enjoying ourselves and celebrating with our guests, who enjoyed themselves tremendously. Really, we had the wedding of our dreams.
We will miss interacting with Rebeca now that the wedding is over, but we know she will always have a special place in our hearts and we hope to see her again some day. She is just that kind of a person.
We could go on and on and on about Rebeca's fantastic qualities as a wedding planner and as a person all to say that if you go with her you'll have the wedding of your dreams and you'll be in the hands of someone who cares about you, your ideas, your expectations, and you as a couple. Hiring Rebeca as your wedding planner will be the BEST DECISION you can make - her fees are very reasonable and she will make your dreams come true. She really is the very BEST wedding planner ever.

Rebeca gave me, without exaggeration, the wedding of my dreams. From the moment we met her it was clear she was a complete professional with a ton of knowledge regarding vendors and venues in Puerto Vallarta. Not only did she find our venue, but organized everything for us, since we were located in Texas. Rebeca was in touch with us about everything, and would email me back within hours if I had questions Sha also made sure we stayed on schedule with our planning. She was a part of the reason why we chose to get married in puerto Vallarta. We were deciding between a few destinations. Talking to her, she made us feel supported and safe. She is a great listener and even better at execution. Our wedding turned out beautiful , beyond imagination. A Persian wedding can be pretty challenging to plan. There are lots of little details that go into it. Even though Rebeca had never planned a Persian wedding before , she was able to execute things better than a Persian wedding planner. She paid attention to every detail we asked for. She went out of her way to prepare the right detail. Her communication skills are great and she was very responsive when we needed to communicate with her. She has a great team. Very flexible. She pays attention to your personal taste and chooses venders accordingly. She also respects your budget. We had our wedding at a hotel and therefore we had to communicate with the hotel about detail of our wedding, as well as the venders. Rebeca did all of that coordination and communicated with them all. She made things so much easier for us.
And on the day of our wedding, everyone was WOWed. Everything turned out to be beautiful. And that is definitely because of the extraordinary abilities of Rebeca. I would definitely recommend her for any ones wedding. Destination weddings can be challenging. She made it very easy for us.
Aside from all her wedding planning skills, she has such a fun, open, easy going, and bubbly personality.
She helped us coordinate things related to the destination trip, and not just the wedding. Our guests fell in love with her. They kept telling us what an amazing job she has done.
Thank you Rebeca for all that you did for us ! We truly appreciate your hard work and will miss you a whole lot !!
