Worth Every Penny!!!

Susand was amazing to work with. I connected with Susan right at the start of the quarantine and even though we never had the chance to meet in person she was able to understand our entire vision through phone calls. Susan was extremely responsive. I don't know much about flowers but she was able to help narrow down what we wanted and ask all the right questions to make our arrangements perfect. Our main color was steel blue and I wanted blue flowers but not ones that look artificial. She knew exactly what to do and it was perfect. Susan was very reliable and understanding. Our flower arrangements were STUNNING! One of our guests works at an art museum and goes to many black tie events and she said our flowers were the more beautiful arrangements she has ever seen. We are so grateful for her hard work. You will not regret working with her!!! We are still waiting on our photographer to send us our pictures so I just attached a picture of my bouquet that someone sent me.

The best!

AMAZING!!!! YOU WANT SUSAN TO DO YOUR WEDDING!!! She was the best! She took my vision and brought it to life! She was amazing to work with. She was extremely responsive and took care of everything. She even made me a chandelier of flowers over my dance floor at the reception. Everything was perfect. She does everything herself and ensures the highest quality! I'm so lucky I was referred to her myself. I can't thank her enough for making my day PERFECT!!!!

The Wedding Designer did an Amazing job!

I was sorting through old files from 2011 when I found my oldest daughter's wedding files. Susan made the church (Historic Norman Chapel in Spring Grove Arboretum) and reception venue look magnificent. From the first time we met, she had so many ideas, options & pictures to show us, based on my daughter's color palate, that we were thrilled. When we saw everything on the big day, we couldn't have been happier. While God Himself made the flowers, Susan's arrangements from the bouquets, pew flowers over satin sashes, & table arrangements to the flexibility of flowers moved from church to reception made the day and the pictures something we will never forget. I definitely recommend her!

Absolutely gorgeous

I planned my wedding from out of state and Susan was so helpful making the process as easy as possible! The flowers exceeded all of my expectations and I received countless compliments! She was willing to work with me on the price and style too! Highly recommend!!!!

Amazing in every way!

Susan has a way of absorbing the bride’s vision and executing it to perfection! Her interpretation of my daughter’s vision was spot on when the four other florists I talked to simply were not.
The bouquets and arrangements were absolutely beautiful! Susan worked with us to create an amazing garland for a pediment above the bride and groom for an outdoor ceremony but also understood the need to make it in such a way that it would work if we had to move the wedding indoors. Thank goodness because it rained. Susan didn’t skip a beat in working it all out! Not only is she an amazingly talented florist but a delightful, caring person with very fair pricing.

I can't even begin to describe how much Susan Foy's floral arrangements enhanced my wedding. I received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on the beauty of the flowers - my attendees were extremely impressed! I am not one to know anything about flowers and have the worst green thumb in the world, so trying to figure out what kind of flowers/arrangements I wanted at my wedding was stressful! I had found Susan through the recommendation of a friend, and she was the perfect person to work with to help me work through this feeling of not knowing what I was doing! She first came to my house and walked through many different kinds of bouquets, arrangements, and colors with me to help me zone in on my preferences (I had some strong ones, apparently)! And then you really saw her expertise come through as she got to work. Over email and I believe one more phone call, we iterated together until we had some absolutely stunning bouquets and table arrangements in the perfect shapes and colors to complement my wedding. And Susan was always so professional - providing me with meticulous and thoughtful emails throughout the process. In terms of price, yes, what we did was expensive, but I would say that if you give her a ballpark number, she will absolutely work to it! She wants you to be thrilled on your day, and you will be. Susan is both a true professional and a true craft of her work and I recommend her to any bride!

Susan was so flexible in meeting with me via FaceTime, email, etc. as a bride planning her wedding out of state. She was calm, professional and understanding. She took all of my feedback that I felt was vague, and truly made it into the complete package. I received so many compliments throughout the day and even now. If you want the best, go to Susan!

The other reviews do not over-exaggerate, Susan Foy is the absolute best. Being a creative professional myself, I had several unique ideas and a general overall vision for my wedding decor & flowers. The wedding was the middle of the summer, but I wanted to create the fall wedding I had always wanted colored with rose golds, browns, champagnes but still wanted to keep the summer vibes. Susan listened intently to my vision during our In-Home consultation. She was so patient and asked questions in order to understand fully what I was envisioning. With her creativity and best-in-class professionalism, she brought my vision to life and it was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I had endless comments from guests about how uniquely beautiful the color scheme was, and how the mixed metals was so different than anything they had seen at a wedding before. And it was so much fun to collaborate with her!! She appreciated my ideas and I loved that she would make suggestions, give me visuals, and make photo albums to help me visualize the end product. She was always willing to work around my crazy work schedule, and on top of it all, she stayed within the budget we had previously given her! Brides, grooms, mothers, maids-of-honors, if you are planning a wedding and are in search of an amazingly creative, passionate professional who will either help you create your vision, or bring your unique vision to life all while staying within your budget (no matter how big or small), Susan Foy is your girl.

Susan is absolutely amazing! She came to our house for our consultation which was so helpful in order to show her our vases, centerpieces and decor to help explain the vision in my head. Of course we also showed her pictures from Pinterest to help explain the vision. She truly listened to what we wanted and put together a slideshow of pictures of past projects she had done to help start bringing the visions to life. She was conscious of our budget and didn't shy away for offering us other ideas to help keep us in budget. She was honest enough to give her professional opinion of what would and wouldn't work both in terms of the flowers themselves and in comparison to the venue/decor. She made sure to stay up front and honest throughout the entire planning process and did all that she could to make sure she was giving you everything you asked for. On the day of the wedding, I was in awe. She made my vision come to life and look even better than anything I could have even asked for. The flowers were beautiful and smelled amazing! They brought all my crazy ideas together to look cohesive throughout the ceremony/reception. It looked absolutely stunning! She delivered above and beyond my expectations. I would hands down recommend her to anyone and hope I have a reason to use her again in the future or at least get to see her work at future weddings.

I absolutely cannot imagine what my wedding day would have been without Susan Foy's work. When I started planning, I had a lot of ideas for flowers that were all over the place. After a phone call with Susan, I had a much more streamlined vision. Susan's expertise helped me narrow down what sort of flowers I loved and enabled her to pinpoint exactly what I loved about all of the pinterest photos I had shown her. I felt so relieved knowing that my wedding flowers were in Susan's capable hands. In addition to her amazing aesthetic, Susan is incredibly professional and detailed in her pricing. I knew exactly what I was paying for (down to the number of flowers used) and Susan gave me plenty of opportunity to adjust my flowers in order to accommodate my budget. Trust Susan! She is absolutely amazing. My guests raved about the floral work!

Susan is the best! I reached out to her about a year before my wedding with a ton of questions and various ideas. She was extremely responsive and took the time to help articulate my vision (in budget) before we even met for a consultation or signed a contract. When I saw my flowers on my wedding day it was exactly what I wanted and more. Her work is beautiful and at a very reasonable price (I got various other vendor quotes and nothing compared). Her bouquets are also much larger than what I usually see. Thank you for the most beautiful flowers Susan!!

Susan was absolutely fantastic. She made bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, boutineers, boutonnières, and flower girl crowns for our wedding in August. I don't much of a flower person and never really articulated exactly what I wanted and somehow Susan actually made the perfect bouquet. I couldn't stop talking about how much I loved it. We actually never met as we live out of town and were able to accomplish all of this through email and one short phone call. I would highly highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a florist. Her work is beautiful, contemporary, and unusual.

Susan did an amazing jobs on the flowers! I loved them and they look great in the pictures I've seen so far. I also got a ton of compliments from people at the wedding, including a bunch of guys. She was very accommodating and worked with my mom and me and our diverse (sometimes conflicting) desires and opinions. I am very happy that we used Susan for our wedding flowers!!

I knew that flowers were not an area of my budget that we were willing to go over budget-- Susan not only stayed under our budget, all of our guests were sure we'd paid much, much more than we did. She completely got our vision and was so much fun to bounce ideas off of-- she was able to imagine what I was suggesting and make it look even better, and had ideas for how to save (e.g., using centerpieces from dinner on pillars for the ceremony.) We had an amazing experience with her and I really can't say enough about how wonderful our flowers looked.

Susan was amazing from start to finish. I had a very nontraditional Halloween wedding and she saw my vision perfectly to every last detail while keeping in contact with my mother and I letting us know what was going on. She really delivered with my bouquet. It was a giant arrangement with the most beautiful fall colors possible. My bridesmaids flowers were amazing and full with so much interest as well. My centerpieces were to die for. They were romantic show stoppers and everyone was in amazement and kept complimenting them all night. I would not only recommend Susan for her creativity and talent but for her enthusiasm. We talked to other vendors and most were not interested in doing a non traditional wedding full of whites and pinks. Susan though was up for the challenge of purples, blacks, and oranges and just executed it perfectly. We absolutely loved working with her and would recommend her to everyone.

Susan knocked it out of the park and across the river! She is a very talented designer that truly listens and cares about the finished product. she nailed my daughters vision on the floral's and setup. From the start Susan understood the mood we wanted to create at the venue and ran with it. She even sent us mock up pictures before the wedding to approve. My daughter wanted a very large bouquet and again Susan delivered so well that my daughter drove to Dayton the very next morning to have it preserved. I think that speaks volumes about Susan talent! For the bridal table Susan created the most gorgeous and dramatic table garland, I wish we could have preserved that as well. We received so many compliments on the flowers and décor through out the evening, thanks to Susan's creative talent. Contact Susan, you will have no regrets about this vendor!

I live out of town, so I had to book most of my vendors without ever meeting them in person. Susan made it so easy for me by sending lots of pictures, asking all the right questions, and responding quickly to my calls/emails. She was so great working with my budget, and even suggested ways for me to save money without sacrificing quality. You can tell she loves what she does, and it's important to her to get your vision right. The flowers were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined, and we received so many compliments! I'm so so happy we went with her:)

I LOVED working with Susan and would highly recommend her. She’s clearly experienced but really personable and easy to work with – I immediately trusted her. I didn’t have super clear directions on what I wanted but I came to her with some images of bouquets and centerpieces that I liked, and she did an amazing job of bringing that vision to life and designing flowers that worked perfectly with our wedding style. We had a moderate budget and she was incredibly respectful about sticking to it and came up with some creative solutions to ensure that everything looked beautiful without costing an arm and a leg. Regarding her process - I was originally a little bit nervous about not seeing a sample of the bouquets or centerpieces before the wedding day, but it ultimately wasn’t a problem. She was great about sending us images of the flowers, colors, bouquet shapes, and vases that she was planning to use, and everything turned out better than I imagined.

I was recently married and Susan did my wedding flowers. When my bouquets and boutonnières arrived when I was getting ready, I cried because they were so beautiful. It was like she read my mind and made exactly what I wanted come to life. I was equally moved when I saw the centerpieces and floral decorations at my venue. It all turned out so much better than I even imagined. During the planning process I changed my mind a couple of times about the design, quantity, etc. of my flowers, and each time Susan was very responsive and accommodating. She found a way to give my everything I wanted while staying within my budget, and it was all executed perfectly. I am so thankful that she did my wedding flowers!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing Susan is!! I had the privilege of working with her for all of my wedding day florals. She did my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, church aisle florals and sashes, reception centerpieces, cake flowers, etc. It was honestly the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen! We had countless emails back and forth with pricing options, flower options, photos, and more, and Susan responded to every email so quickly! When we met in person and went over everything, I knew she understood my vision completely!! When everything was delivered and I saw the church and reception hall for the first time, I was in total awe. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was amazing. The centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and better than I had ever pictured. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Susan for your wedding, you will not be disappointed! She has such a talent!

Susan did an INCREDIBLE job designing the flowers for our wedding. We were recommended to her by a friend and she really did wonderful work. We were thrilled with the centerpieces and bouquets. She was easy to work with and very flexible. She is a professional and has extreme talent, while still being affordable. She made sure we stayed in our budget and designed the most beautiful flowers. Susan surpassed every expectation I had. Our flowers were so beautiful and they were exactly what I had asked for. She was also extremely helpful with suggesting flowers to meet our budget and really stepped up when we had to make a last minute centerpiece change. I can't say enough good things about Susan! She was one of my favorite vendors to work with. Anytime I had a question, she was super fast to respond and always had great ideas that I hadn't even thought about. I knew right when I met her that I was going to book her because I could just tell that she really cared about her brides and wanted to do a great job to make them happy. I had been picturing what my wedding flowers would look like for longer than I can remember, and all I can say is WOW! They absolutely exceeded my expectations. I was beyond happy with how they turned out and would not change a thing. Not only is she a joy to work with and her flowers are amazing, but she is so afforable. A+ vendor!

Susan Foy is the most creative and talented florist out there. We had tall arrangements with hanging amaranthus, roses, hydrangea, willow..and they were stunning. We had so many compliments on our arrangements and bouquets! As MOB, flowers were the most important part of the decor, and Susan's skills and creativity really were the crowning jewel. I would highly recommend her.

The only thing better than marrying the man of my dreams on my September wedding day was Susan's flowers!

Susan was hands down the best wedding vendor I worked with during my year long engagement. She took the time to sit down and meet with me to understand my dreams and vision. She was so responsive and diligent, making sure we had every detail covered even when I changed my mind about a hundred times! She was more than accommodating with this crazy bride! The best part of it all was that her flower arrangements were beyond anything I ever could have dreamed of...even with pinterest on my side! They were so beautiful that they brought tears to my eyes when she delivered them the day of our wedding. She was even kind enough to take care of wrapping a piece of my mom's dress (something old) in my bouquet. No detail was forgotten!

Susan is hands down the absolute best florist in Cincinnati! Do yourself a favor and call her! She's wonderful!!

Best flowers at the best price!! I told Susan what I wanted and she was able to give me the best pricing and an absolute gorgeous bouquet. She was on top of emailing me whenever I had questions and took good care of me. She came recommended by one of my other vendors and I see why. I was very indecisive on what I wanted for my wedding, but she helped me narrow it down, she was willing to meet me as many times as I wanted, and not to mention the flowers turned out absolutely wonderful! My bridesmaids loved their bouquets! And of course I loved mine as well! Couldn't have asked for a better florist!

I cannot even express how great it was to work with Susan. We had countless emails back and forth about what types of flowers to use, centerpiece ideas, etc., and she never sounded remotely impatient. She not only responded right away to every email, but she responded with detailed, thoughtful answers- making me feel as though she cared as much as I did. She even compiled photo albums of ideas to show me online. Her prices were also much better than other florists I had looked at.
In the end, the centerpieces and my bouquet were amazing. Everyone I talked to mentioned how much they loved the flowers, and wanted to know what types were in the arrangements.
I HIGHLY recommend Susan- I cannot imagine how another florist could be better.

Susan was one of my favorite vendors to work with. So kind and put SO much time and effort into my flowers. In addition to being wonderful to work with, Susan's product was GORGEOUS. She really took my lack of vision and ran with it. I had to add an extra centerpiece at the last minute and she was very sweet about it. Her prices were reasonable too!

Susan was amazing to work with! From the first initial contact, Susan has been wonderful. She is quick with email responses, and when she's swamped on the weekends with weddings, she still lets you know she'll get back to you as soon as she can. I was a terribly indecisive bride, and kept going back and forth and changing my mind regarding bouquets and centerpieces, but Susan was always so patient and willing to make whatever changes I requested, (even close to the wedding!) as well as give me her expert opinion and advice. She really paid attention to all the details, and made sure she knew exactly what I was looking for, communicating her ideas through pictures which worked very well. I always had faith that everything would turn out perfectly, and it did! All the bouquets and centerpieces were gorgeous, and the bouquets were really much larger than I expected. I felt like she was so reasonably priced compared to other florists, and her work really speaks for itself. I was so grateful to have her as my florist and she was absolutely one of my favorite vendors to work with.

Can I Just say.... Susan did an UNBELIEVABLE job! EVERYONE was like WHO did your flowers? The centerpieces, bouquets, everything was perfect! It was such a pleasure/honor working with Susan. I met with a couple of the more 'popular' florists in town and I'm so happy I went with Susan. She isn't 'judgy', she is honest and doesn't take you to the cleaners for one rose bud..I would highly reco Susan to anyone looking for a creative, fun, reasonable florist!

Susan has the BEST costumer service! She helps you pick the best flowers and designs in your budget and responds immediately to every e-mail! Our room was set up early and was absolutely gorgeous!!! Susan provided the most beautiful and unique flowers for our wedding. While I wasn't sure if we were always on the same page in our initial discussions about the flowers, she took everything I suggested and requested and made them 10 times more gorgeous. Our flowers lasted the entire day and evening without fading or browning. I couldn't have been happier with how my bouquet and my bridesmaid bouquets turned out.

Let me just say this about Susan...I went from being a girl to not caring about flowers whatsoever to probably having more follow-up calls with her than any other vendor on my list!

Susan was probably the most responsive and most flexible vendor that I had. I cannot thank her enough for her quick turnaround time in answering my many emails - even if it was just to say she was swamped and would have to get back to me later. Her flexibility is unparalleled. As an out-of-town bride, Susan understood that email was the best way to contact me and was great about sending me Picasa albums of the floral arrangements and bouquets that I was interested in.

I was not operating with a large floral budget, and Susan understood that. She was always straight-forward with me about what was realistic given the limitations with cost and never once pressured me to go outside of my comfort zone.

The end result? I ended up with beautiful florals (simply ADORED my bouquet and my bridesmaids') and my vision was achieved - all under budget! Book with her immediately - you will not be disappointed!

I can't say enough good things about Susan. She honestly was probably the easiest vendor I worked with. I had a million ideas going in every direction and she had to stop me a few times and get me straightened out, but it was beautiful in the end. I would email her weekly with new ideas and she would always play with them until they fit my price point and my vision. She knew what my vision was and kept me on track the entire time (like I said I was all over the place). I had a smallish flower budget because I was never big into flowers, but of course my ideas happened to be a bit more grand than my budget would allow. She made it all fit perfectly and we were even able to slip in some extras. I would highly suggest her to anyone I know, and would definitely use her again if the chance were to arise!

Susan was awesome! I do not have one bad word to say. She added to my perfect day. She executed everything I wanted perfectly and really made everything elegant and beautiful. Susan was great to work with! I had a very vague idea of what I wanted and gave Susan several different photos. She blended them into the perfect arrangements for our wedding. We got married in a very large, ornate church. When I asked her for recommendations on how to decorate, she told me that I should just let the beauty of the church stand on its own. Susan was wonderful to work with! The flowers were gorgeous! It was great to give Susan my budget and an idea of the colors I wanted and she was able to create more than I could've dreamed! For a year now, some brides (who obviously didn't have Susan on their side!) told me to not expect perfection with my flowers. They said that the flowers more than likely wouldn't be what I expected and "not to let it get me down." I feel awful they felt that way on their big day, because I didn't! Every single piece Susan created was beyond what I had envisioned and every single piece was beautiful! So many guests and other vendors complimented the flowers! Susan did the flowers for my daughters wedding. I couldn't have been more pleased. She did all the bouquets, Church decor and centerpieces for the reception. There are certain priorities when planning a wedding and flowers were at the top of the list for me. Susan asked and listened to what we wanted. After picking the flowers we would be using Susan put together the most reasonable and beautiful arrangements. There wasn't one thing I would have changed. All the guests loved the flowers. The flowers at my wedding were the most beautiful things about my wedding. Susan's creativity brought my whole reception room together. Susan was professional, organized, and dedicated. I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding, truly amazing.

We HIGHLY recommend Susan Foy, The Wedding Designer, for any special occasion floral need, especially a wedding! Susan was a delight to work with as we planned our daughter's wedding. She was able to custom design "the" look we were searching for and the results were STUNNING! Many of our guests still rave about the elegant look of all the floral arrangements. Most of the flowers lasted for almost 3 weeks after the reception! Susan was very patient and always willing to make changes when my daughter (bride) kept changing her mind. She is very creative and made certain our centerpieces were not boring. She kept our budget in mind and coordinated with other events that weekend so we could use the same flowers at different occasions. Her floral creations made the wedding and reception truly breathtaking!

Susan was an absolute pleasure to work with! We first met her when she was setting up for another wedding, yet she was willing to speak with us even though she was busy. First impressions count for a lot, and we were not disappointed! She worked tirelessly to make sure she created the vision that my daughter had for her wedding day in an enthusiastic, professional manner. She worked within our budget and gave us many helpful suggestions. Susan was fabulous! From our first phone consultation, I felt like we were on the same page in terms of both what I was looking for stylistically as well as what my budget was, which is always appreciated. She put together a photo album based on our consultation of what specific flowers in which colors she was planning to use, as well as arrangements she had done in the past to serve as inspiration. She was very responsive whenever I had questions, which I very much appreciated as an out-of-town bride. I was even able to add things the week before the wedding, as I had forgotten about petals for the recession! I had very specific vases that I wanted to use, and Susan let me provide any containers I liked. She was also at the venue the morning of the wedding setting up before I even got there! We got so many compliments on how colorful and unique our arrangements were, and we couldn't have done it without Susan!

We utilized Susan Foy for our May 14, 2016 wedding. Our wedding was at a private property in a remote location. Susan did an awesome job procuring all of the flowers we wanted (ecualyptus for tables, heather in tall galvanized buckets for isle, peonies/renauculas/anemones/chrysanthemum) and everything looked beautiful. Susan was very responsive and informative, I would definitely use her again!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Susan. She was attentive to my wants and needs and came up with exactly what I was looking for: a modern, clean version of the classic bridal flowers. Her pricing was exceptional - I feel like I got such a steal after I saw all of the items she put together for my wedding day. Her service was also excellent; I accidentally overlooked two people who needed corsages/boutineers, and Susan totally saved the day by pretending she left them in the car and whipped up two right there on the spot, without my guests knowing the difference! I highly recommend her services for brides who want something unique, creative, and individual for their wedding.

Susan Foy took our vision and made it a beautiful reality. Not always professional in person, but beyond professional in both the quality and affordability of her pieces. She provided us with images before and during the process. Worked with our budget, telling us what we could DIY and what she could do. I used Susan based on reviews found online. Here is mine, straight up:

Pros:
1) She stayed within appr. $10 of my $1500 budget
2) She met with me two times during my planning, after some hesitation that things weren't being done.
3) She set up centerpieces and picked them up after (for an additional charge for each)
4) The bouquets were pretty, centerpieces turned out well.

Cons:
1) Not sure exactly what my money was spent on. (I feel as though I would have been able to get the same service had I told her my budget was $500 less than what I did, as I provided 80% of the vases used, 100% of the candles used, and ultimately more than 70% of everything used throughout my wedding decorations.)
2) My "gift" toss bouquet was so lightweight it didn't make it to the group of girls -- had I seen it before my wedding coordinator gave it to me as I was walking out onto the floor, I would have thrown my real bouquet; it was pitiful.
3) Slow communication at times.
4) Multiple occasions I felt like I was a "cheap" bride, as she called me frugal b/c of my $1500 budget.
5) I always felt like "just another bride" to her, never with my other vendors.
6) Charged me additional cost for set-up of centerpieces--informed me of this price hike a week before the wedding.
7) Relied on my creativity for centerpieces -- this is why I went with her thinking she could help with this, as I know nothing about flowers.
8) In speaking with other brides, I way overpaid compared to them with their florists.

In summary:
I think she would be a WONDERFUL florist for someone with a high budget who wants flowers to be the focal point of their wedding...her work is good. I would not recommend her if your budget is $1500 or under ... If I were able to re-plan my wedding, she would not be my florist ... this would be the ONE change I would make.
