This venue has it all!

My husband and I got married at the Trivium last year and we highly recommend this venue to all engaged couples!! The venue is gorgeous, I love our ceremony photos under the pergola! Heidi and Victoria made sure that our day was perfect, and made it clear that they would do anything and everything they could to make it exactly how we wanted it to be. Heidi helped me finish my vision for the ballroom and she has so much experience, I really trusted her opinion. This venue has it all - gorgeous inside, beautiful outside, amazing staff, and timeless elegance.

Great staff and beautiful venue

The Trivium has such a beautiful outdoor ceremony space and elegant interior that feels very unique and not at all cookie-cutter, which is exactly what we were looking for. What sets this venue apart is the great staff. Victoria, the venue coordinator, worked with us throughout the entire planning process and provided prompt and thorough responses to our emails, and went above and beyond answering our questions and giving honest recommendations. Victoria and all of the staff working on our wedding day made sure all of our needs were met and we were really impressed with their attention to detail. One thing I was incredibly impressed with was how well everything was set up and decorated for the wedding day, as they provided their own small decorative items such as the perfect gold frames for our bar menus and guest book sign, jars to hold our photo booth props, boxes for our cards/gifts table - small details that helped bring everything together and gave us one less thing to worry about. Everything went so smoothly and we couldn't have made a better choice for our venue!

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! Not only is the Trivium beautiful both inside and outside but Heidi and Victoria were both amazing to work with. We were planning on having our wedding ceremony outside by the pergola and it rained last minute. Victoria was amazing with quickly changing everything to an indoor ceremony and everything went flawlessly. I highly recommend this venue to anyone that wants to get married in the Lynchburg area.

Okay, so let me say when I first started wedding planning I thought The Trivium was "not for me" but I went on a tour anyway and fell in love. Like, 100% changed my mind and needed to have the wedding there. From day one Victoria was AMAZING in helping us budget, plan, and coordinate the wedding. Their list of recommended vendors was a literal lifesaver in picking out the key people in the wedding. Victoria was checking in and keeping me on track throughout the whole planning process.
The space is gorgeous. The house has a bridal, groom, and family suites upstairs to get ready in. Downstairs is a nice area for cocktail hour. The ballroom was large and beautiful for our reception. There are also many places outside to have a ceremony! They were so flexible in allowing me to use the space in a way that made sense for us. Everything is so personalized and unique to your wedding.
Now, if that wasn't a 5 star review in itself the day of coordination might as well bump it up to a 10 star. On the wedding day Victoria made sure I was 100% stress free by organizing my vendors, keeping the bridal room calm, and doing every behind the scene thing you can imagine. The wedding was outdoors overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and it was a cold November day, so Victoria set up a hot chocolate station with blankets to keep our guests comfortable. During the reception she made sure my husband and I were eating, drinking, and having a great time. They were even flexible enough to extend the reception for an hour because everyone was having so much fun!
I couldn't ask for a better wedding. Thank you to The Trivium and Victoria for a day I will never forget!

I highly recommend The Trivium Estate to any couples getting married. The estate is gorgeous, especially at sunset. I am most pleased with Heidi and her staff. She worked diligently to ensure our wedding day went smoothly.

The Trivium was fantastic! It ended up raining on the day of our wedding, which was a bummer, but thankfully they have the beautiful ballroom that easily transitioned from the reception space to our ceremony space. The whole staff was so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Trivium to anyone getting married in this area!

The Trivium Estate is an absolutely amazing venue! My husband and I got married there in May by the pond and the day could not have been more perfect. Victoria was our day-of coordinator and she did a fantastic job on our wedding day and during the months leading up to our wedding day. Anytime I had a question about anything, she was quick to respond and made everything go so smoothly and without stress. I was able to go visit the venue numerous times in the weeks before the wedding to get the final planning worked out and Victoria was always so amazingly helpful and helped me remain calm. The rest of the Trivium staff is wonderful as well and was great to work with. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and staff. My husband and I would definitely recommend The Trivium Estate!

Words cannot express how wonderful our wedding experience at The Trivium was! My husband and I looked at many venue options before finding it. Just a few of the reasons we ended up choosing The Trivium for our wedding were:

.Gorgeous venue- beautiful southern estate, garden, ballroom, and mountain views for pictures.

.Convenient location- Out of the way yet still close to a grocery store if you forget or need anything. Easy for our guests to find and drive to with a large parking area and very importantly- ADA accessible.

.Impeccable upkeep of the house and landscaping. -One example: Extreme heat hit before our wedding, causing some flowers/bushes to scorch or die. They were all fixed the day before, as the owners took the time to cut back all the scorched shrubbery, so it looked perfect and showcased the beautiful surviving flowers.

.The all-inclusive option. -Highly recommended- Having top notch, vetted vendors already chosen saved us so much time and energy trying to piece all that together. Plus the package vendors know the venue and each other so well and work together flawlessly.

. Built in wedding co-ordinator who also is a venue owner. It's the perfect additional perk. Heidi is amazing. She is impressively responsive and answered all our questions about the day with the added knowledge only a venue owner would have. I didn't have to worry about anything during the rehearsal, ceremony, or reception. She thought of everything.

. The Trivium staff- Additionally, the staff was awesome. Their service and attention to detail made the day even better.

For all brides & grooms, their wedding day is a day to be remembered for the rest of their lives. It is a day that starts months ahead of time with a vision, then planning up to the day of the event. The Trivium is much more than just a venue. The beautiful antebellum style house surrounded by beautifully grassed lawns & century old trees was a picture setting for my daughter`s wedding. Always there to assist us bring the vision to life was Victoria & Heidi. From the first handshake and meeting to the last minutes of the wedding & reception. They were always there to help create the very special day that my daughter had dreamed of. Very professional but at the same time very friendly & hospitable. The Trivium was the best choice I made in the wedding planning process. All I can say is...this is the BEST venue in the area and not just for how beautiful it is. Heidi is probably the most wonderful part. I needed a beautiful venue with class and a timeless beauty and an appropriate and, just as a beautiful, indoor option for weather. There are not many of these venues in the area. The Trivium has three outside options and a beautiful indoor ballroom that we actually ended up using because of the weather (in the end, I honestly liked it better inside). From the start of the planning process, Heidi was super responsive. She has done quite a few weddings, so she knows what she is doing. She is upfront with you and almost anticipates what you need before you know you need it. The whole process was easy and stress-free. I knew our venue was gorgeous and if it rained (which it did) then I had a beautiful indoor option that wasn't under a tent or an attempt to cram people into a small space.
I may be biased because I had my wedding here, but I truly think this is the best venue in the area. It's views of the mountains, high caliber staff, and timeless charm are perfect. I could not be happier with our choice!

Words cannot even begin to describe my love for The Trivium Estate and it's amazing staff! This venue exceeded my every expectation and made my wedding dreams come true! Heidi, Victoria and the entire staff at the Trivium made our event planning so easy with their expertise, advise and suggestions. The night of our wedding, the Trivium staff ensured that everything went without problem. The staff were so attentive to the needs of not only the bride/groom, family and wedding party but the needs of every single guest. I appreciated how well established this venue and it's staff were while working with other vendors. Not only were they known by the vendors but they made sure to coordinate all of the behind the scenes work to ensure that day of event everyone knew their role and where they were expected at what time. Aside from the wonderful staff, The Trivium Estate is absolutely gorgeous! Although we chose to have an indoor church ceremony, I made sure to have all of our pictures taken on site at the Estate. I am still gawking at the pictures we have at this venue. Choosing The Trivium Estate for our reception site was the BEST choice we made during our wedding planning and we would not have changed a thing!!

We recently got married at the Trivium Estate in early December for a Christmas-themed wedding, and the venue, the service, the experience - everything was amazing! Heidi, the manager at the estate provided exceptional service with helping us plan the event, coordinating logistics with other vendors to make the day go smoothly, and her staff did a fantastic job setting up and taking down the decor for the wedding. The Trivium is beautifully-decorated during the winter season and was the perfect place to have our Christmas wedding, the staff were super professional and polite, and the venue's management were pretty flexible with accommodating our needs for our special day. After looking around the area, their wedding packages had the best value for the location, space, everything that came included in the wedding & reception packages (they have multiple tiers to work with any budget), and we just couldn't have possibly picked a better venue. If you're looking for a place to get married in the Forest, Bedford, Lynchburg area, you have to visit the Trivium!!!!

I would highly recommend The Trivium to anyone looking for a wedding venue! The Trivium offers such an elegant ambiance with an option to choose from 3 different ceremony locations on sight. We had our wedding at the Pergola and our reception to follow. One of the greatest things was that I spent my entire day at the same place. I showed up around 11am to The Trivium. Heidi and her staff took such a good care of myself and my bridal party while we got ready for the wedding. Once my groom and his groomsmen arrived, the staff brought them some food and took care of them as well! It really made for such a calm and relaxing experience. The Trivium exceeded my expectations for the absolute perfect overall wedding experience!

If you truly wish to have a dream wedding with the ease of working with the absolute finest people, then your wedding should be held at the Trivium Estate. The grounds are breathtaking and the staff is absolutely amazing! From personal experience, I know that they are interested only in making the wedding day perfect! You will find vast knowledge, courtesy, professionalism and warmth from a staff that helps you from the first day you contact them to the last minute of a wonderful reception, and even after that, they are helpful in making sure that all of your belongings are in your possession. My daughter's words were, "this day was more perfect then I could even have imagined!" There are no better words to tell you why you should hold your wedding at The Trivium Estate.

I really loved this place! It was great because we just used it for the ceremony and we originally wanted it outside but it rained the day of so we were able to move everything inside. Heidi was very helpful and coordinated the wedding ceremony which was very helpful for us. She was flexible with the things we wanted and wanted to help us in any way she could. The house was absolutely beautiful and it was a great place to get ready in!

Heidi, Victoria, and the rest of the Trivium staff were an absolute joy to work with! From the very first meeting with Heidi, I knew that my choice in this venue was a great one! She was on top of everything-from letting me stop by on numerous occasions to look at the property again and try to figure out arrangements in my head, to scheduled meetings, to answering my thousands of emails in a timely manner, etc. The property is beyond beautiful; inside and out! I loved every second of planning our wedding, until the day that it was all said and done. Heidi and the staff of the Trivium provided a venue and service that was unparalleled. This was my second long-distance wedding held in Virginia and I was able to enjoy every moment of it. We held our daughter's wedding at the Trivium. Heidi was amazing! She was most responsive all through the planning process, and the day of the wedding, she was everywhere, making sure nothing was left to chance. The Trivium provided every amenity to make our daughter's wedding a beautiful experience. Heidi's staff is also great and approaches each assignment with a positive attitude and even a little humor to make it more fun!

All the Trivium staff were more than helpful throughout our wedding planning, leading up to the day of (even after). They helped and provided insight with everything from ceremony rehearsal and the wedding. Heidi and her staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our entire planning process. She was flexible with me when I needed to stop by and show vendors the venue and had great ideas about how to make our day special for us. We loved that we were able to bring in our own catering (We used a pizza food truck!) and other vendors. Our experience with the Trivium was a great balance between full service and DIY. I was able to incorporate my own ideas while depending on Heidi and her staff to fill in the gaps and make sure everything turned out just right. She and her staff made our wedding day run smoothly and a very enjoyable experience for us and our guests. We couldn't have been more pleased with the way our wedding went and with the service the Trivium provided. It was definitely worth every dollar we spent to have our event there!

Reception Venue: My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our experience hosting our wedding reception at the Trivium. The Director of Operations, Heidi, was terrific to work with. I was always able to reach her and always received prompt responses on my inquiries, no matter how trivial they were. Our reception itself went off beautifully thanks to Heidi and her staff. Every activity was coordinated seamlessly. Our guests were floored by the beauty of the venue. Furthermore, for all the Trivium has to offer, it is very reasonably priced. They even gave us a military discount because my husband is an active duty Marine. They also offer discounts if you book from their preferred vendors list; but you are not required to book from that list if you don't want to. One last thing that I will say that sold me on the Trivium: they made us feel like they wanted us to book with them and they actually tried to get us to book with them. So many venues made me feel like they would be doing me a favor if I way overpaid to book with them. Go with the Trivium. They value your business and work hard to make sure your event is all you want it to be.

My husband and I had our dream wedding because of this beautiful venue, the flexibility and professionalism of the staff and their focus on making the day perfect! I recently had my wedding and reception at The Trivium and I could not have picked a better venue. Heidi is amazing at her job, and she does everything she can to make your whole planning and day of as stress free as possible. Thanks to Heidi and her recommendations, I was also able to work with an amazing full service caterer, fantastic photographer, and great DJ. Heidi is incredibly responsive and flexible, and will do everything she can to make sure your day is perfect. And the venue itself, what a beautiful venue! So many people at my wedding commented on how beautiful the venue was and I couldn't agree more. I would recommend any bride looking for a wedding venue to go see Heidi at The Trivium!

This is the number one wedding venue and as parents of the bride we know we could not have selected a more perfect wedding venue. Heidi and her staff are incredible, they take care of every detail eliminating all stress. This venue is breath taking and they go to great lengths to make sure that the grounds, all rooms inside and the ballroom are spectacular and will leave memories that will last a lifetime. It is very clear that this is more that just a job for Heidi, it is a passion for her to make sure every bride's dream comes true. If you are planning a wedding this is the only place to consider.

Heidi and her staff were nothing but wonderful. She worked with me to find the perfect wedding date. The Trivium was willing to accommodate my large guest count and the grounds are capable to seat 300+. I thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality during the entire wedding day as well. I cannot imagine that our event (daughter's wedding) could have gone any better. From the beginning, Heidi Baker was amazing. She was always willing to answer any questions, have us visit as many times as we needed to, made helpful suggestions to improve on our ideas, and was just generally professional and helpful. If I ever need to host another large event, this would be my go-to venue. The house and grounds are beautiful all on their own, making large amounts of decorating unnecessary. A few flower arrangements for tables was all that was needed.

It is with great pride and honor to recommend the Trivium for your special event. The service that we received from Heidi was way beyond our expectations. From the first meeting to our big day Heidi was there offering assistance. Heidi helped us every time we called her whether it was about vendor choices, lighting choices, or setup for the reception area she gave us advice and followed up with concerns. She stayed in constant contact with our other vendors and made them feel welcomed. She and her staff made us and all of our guest feel welcomed and comfortable. Her staff helped other vendors that came for our big day. I had a wedding planner, but Heidi on that day was with me and my groom the entire event. She would ask us if we needed anything, would we like for her to do something, and she kept up with the schedule. Customer service was beyond what was expected and Heidi knew what we needed before we asked. Our guest were very impressed with the venue and more so with the staff from the Trivium. The venue was very clean, spacious as we had 2 different food vendors, modern décor. We used the photo booth, which all props they have and all the guest loved it (over 1,000 photos from the photo booth alone!). We were very impressed!

I fell in love with Trivium when I first saw it. The beautiful scenery and ballroom made it the perfect venue four our wedding. Heidi made the experience so much more enjoyable. We did not have a wedding planner but with Heidi and her team you don't really need one, she makes sure everything is taken care of to make your day perfect. Our daughters wedding was perfect from beginning to end thanks to Heidi and all of her wonderful staff. After planning for a year, the day was even better than we anticipated. Not only does the Trivium provide a beautiful backdrop for a wedding, it also provides the perfect accommodations for the wedding party and guest. I cannot ony give The Trivium Estate 5 stars, it is worth so many more!! Heidi and the rest of the staff here are absolutely amazing. Not only is it a beautiful venue on the outside, the inside has been so tastefully decorated I just wanted to move in myself! Heidi is so professional, it never took her more than a couple hours (usually minutues) to respond to any questions or concerns that came up during my 13 months of wedding planning! Mother nature decided to grace us with terrible weather the week of our wedding, and with Saturday not looking too promising, we put plan B into action Friday at the rehearsal. All of the staff at The Trivium worked so hard to make sure that Plan B was going to be just as good as the original plan (Gazebo ceremony) and sure enough, my wedding day went on without a glitch! Our big day could not have been pulled off so perfectly if it was not for The Trivium Estate and the staff that maintains this wonderful venue. If you want to have the PERFECT wedding, I would highly recommend at least checking out this venue...AND BOOKING IT!! There are endless indoor and outdoor options here to help every bride fulfill the wedding of their dreams!

The Trivium is the perfect location for any bride who wants a picturesque setting, fabulous facility and amazing staff! We wanted a reception venue for our October 20th wedding that would show all our out of town guests the southern charm and natural beauty of the area. Once we toured the Trivium, we knew there was no need to look any further - it was exactly what we were looking for. The ballroom was spacious enough to easily accomdate our 120 guests for a plated dinner and had a large stage for our band. With a view of the mountains, beautiful landscaping, and elegant decor the Trivium is truly is a treasure that stands on its own, but what really puts it over the top is Director of Operations, Heidi and her wonderful staff. As an out of town bride, most of the planning was done through email and over the phone. Heidi was always quick to respond and willing to provide recommendations and suggestions for other vendors which was a huge help. The rest of the staff was very efficient and professional. Everyone we dealt with was warm and friendly and just an absolute joy to work with! No other places could offer us so much flexibility, charm, and peacefulness in such a beautiful setting. All of our friends and family are still talking about how much they loved our wedding.

Wow! What a great experience! The venue was beautiful in every way. The ballroom has beautiful wood floors and the grounds have great places to take pictures. My fiance and I struggled to find a place that had everything we were looking for our wedding, and knew immediately as soon as we found The Trivium that "this is it!" The place is absolutely GORGEOUS inside and out and has everything we were looking for... The Trivium is a beautiful venue with several locations for a ceremony (inside or outside), has a gorgeous on-site reception venue that requires nothing in terms of decorations (except maybe centerpieces), you can bring in your own catere, and even has an onsite photo booth which was a HUGE hit with my wedding guests! Plus the inside of the home is beautiful and is a photographer's dream, so your "getting ready" photos will be very pretty. Finally, I can't say enough about the service... Heidi was AWESOME to work with through the entire planning process. She was very helpful, very professional, and very friendly, and we felt from the beginning like she appreciated our business, which is rare in the wedding industry. ONLY downside is that if your GPS is set to "shortest distance", it tends to send people a squirrely way (down a dirt road). That being said, the place is right off a main road and is NOT at all difficult to find... but you might want to suggest a specific route for your wedding guests on your website or invitations. I have received NOTHING but compliments from my guests and family about my wedding location. My husband and I (and all family members) would WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend this venue for your wedding or event!

I don't know how to describe how gorgeous the Trivium is. The old southern charm combined with modern renovations is breath-taking. When I first showed my fiance the Trivium he was floored by the beauty of the place and the warmth and professionalism of Heidi the owner. We loved having our wedding and reception there everything was perfect from the beautiful and roomy bridal room for myself and my girls to the groom's room that had a gaming system and pac man arcade game. Heidi made my day perfect by finishing all the small details and taking care of everything and anything I asked of her.

I recently had the need for a outside venue to host a corporate event with a considerable short time frame. The Trivium was up to the challenge and performed magnificently. The staff was very responsive and diligent with my team in arranging the event making sure every detail was addressed. The event including catering that was also managed by the Trivium staff and the whole thing was pulled off without a hitch. By choosing the Trivium, it allowed me to focus more on my client and the message my team was delivering, and less on the details of the meeting area. The options here are endless! Available for indoor or outdoor. We had an outdoor wedding, used the main house for cocktail/picture hour and then an indoor reception in the amazing ballroom. The setting is beautiful and the team working there are just as amazing as the place. They were so helpful and always there when we needed something. Impeccable service. Also nice was WE could choose every other aspect of our wedding including flowers, catering, design, planning, etc. The Trivium is an excellent venue and I'm so happy I got married there. Also available was the FUN photo booth LOVED by our guests and also sparklers were accepted.

The greatest venue in the area is back in business and better than ever! When I look back on our wedding, the venue is probably my favorite thing (and dear I say, prettier than my wedding dress! haha). Heidi Baker has put in so much effort to making the Trivium look like something from a professional interior design magazine. She has got to be the most helpful professional I dealt with during the entire wedding planning process. I'm not one of those girls who had their wedding day planned out ever since she could read, so there was some changing of my mind as the day was getting closer and closer. Couple things had to be completely rethought of. Despite that, Heidi was extremely flexible and I never saw frustration in her - she actually offered advice to better my crazy ideas :) She was bending backwards to make our wedding day the most amazing experience ever no matter how hectic it got, and I am extremely grateful for that!
One of the advantages that I found at the Trivium that I didn't come across anywhere else (and I did a LOT of research) was the inventory. They have absolutely everything there! I didn't have to buy a single votive or vase, which really helped with the budget. They had all shapes and sizes of everything. Even different arbors to choose from!
Another thing that makes the planning easy, is the ability to bring your own vendors - especially the caterer. Mostly every venue has contracts with certain vendors they have to fulfill the contracts with, and as a bride I felt very constricted with choices. Honestly, I passed on a couple of great venues just because I was required to use such-and-such caterer, photographer, or florist. Required??? It's MY wedding day - I should be able to do what I want!
I have to say, girls, if you skip out on the Trivium - it just won't be the same.

I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone. They are accommodating and it's such a beautiful venue. Love the people the place and everything in between!

The Trivium is the PERFECT location for a wedding--Heidi and her staff think of absolutely everything. I loved the beautiful rooms for the wedding party to get ready in--it made the morning a really fun and special time with my closest friends and family. We had our ceremony at the Pergola, and it was the ideal location for our small, intimate wedding. Heidi could not have been more helpful the day-of. She brought us fruit and muffins when we were getting ready, kept everything on schedule, and I'm sure moved mountains behind the scenes to get everything set up in time. Our wedding was Sunday morning, and they had another wedding the night before, but you never would have known it! I would recommend them to anyone who asked!

Also, another tip--if you choose Love is In the Air for catering/cake/decor/flowers, they work seamlessly with the Trivium. They've worked together so much in the past that you don't really have to coordinate anything between them--it took a load off my mind to know that was all taken care of.

Heidi and her staff were a fantastic team to work with; their professionalism and preparedness made our wedding day a breeze. Her team was flexible and readily available for every whim or either the bride or the groom. The venue is gorgeous, the scenery was everything that we wanted and the price was extremely competitive. Those all of those are were qualities that we looked for in a venue, but the venue itself pales in comparison to the amazing staff that Heidi employs, they were extremely attentive and very accommodating. Our wedding ceremony was sit to be conducted outdoors and there was a treacherous storm that afternoon and without a complaint Heidi and her team swept into action and rearranged the ball room to accommodate our ceremony indoors, but at the last minute there was a break in the storm and we moved it back outside and Heidi again came to the rescue and re-set up everything outside. The purpose of the day was to get married and that was going to happen regardless, but Heidi made a day that could have disastrous a dream and we are forever grateful for her and team for making sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend The Trivium to everyone. The stress that Heidi and her team removed from the process definitely brings added value to The Trivium.

The Trivium staff was organized, accommodating, conscientious, and kind. It was the perfect venue for my wedding and they made sure all details were attended to in an effort to make the day go smoothly and the event be executed perfectly. We were so pleased with our choice to have our wedding at the Trivium and will definitely recommend it to friends in the future.

The Trivium provided the perfect place for my rehearsal dinner and reception and working with Victoria and Heidi made the process fun and stress-free. Their laid back personalities and self-confidence made us feel at ease that everything would be taken care of and that there was nothing to worry about. The venue alone is a beautiful setting but Victoria and Heidi sell the place. Meeting with Victoria is what helped us make our final decision on which venue to go with.

Trivium was such an amazing place for my wedding. We had so many compliments from friends and family on the ceremony venue. The wedding coordinator Heidi was awesome....she is very laid back and friendly and she helped guide us thru the whole two day event when no one really knew what to do (the where, whens, and hows). Definitely would recommend this to anyone for their wedding celebration. And it has several BEAUTIFUL views for an outdoor ceremony.

Everyone raved over the venue and we certainly appreciate the help in providing us a discounted rate! Only two things I noticed for future planning was that there were no speakers on the stage for the sound system and the salad bowls were quite large. The caterer did not anticipate the size of the bowls so we ran out of salad before the last table made it to the buffet.

Biggest Mistake of My Life

My fiancé and I were scheduled to be married November 7, 2020 at the venue. However, due to the global pandemic and steady rise of cases across the nation, we would like to postpone our event to the fall of 2021. We both are honest, hard-working individuals (healthcare professionals in fact). We do not want to (and will not) put the safety of our friends and family in jeopardy to host our special day (both of us are blessed to have all grandparents still living). We certainly could not live with ourselves if our wedding was the cause of an isolated outbreak of COVID-19, causing significant morbidity and mortality to our guests. Therefore, we contacted the trivium last week to explore our alternatives. However, we shortly discovered the venue is scheduled to be sold in 2021 and not booking future weddings. It is undetermined at this time as to whether the estate will reopen as a wedding venue. After admitting the venue could not accommodate our needs, the owner (Heidi Baker) refused to return our initial deposit. The owner proposed she could reschedule our wedding to January of 2021 and delay the closing of the venue. However, this did not accommodate our needs. In my professional opinion, postponing a wedding scheduled outdoors to January is nonsensical. On a further note, annual influenza season peaks between December and February which would increase the risk of severe health complications among our guests.

We are simply seeking the refund of our initial deposit so we may secure future wedding arrangements. The initial deposit would certainly go a LONG way on future preparations!

If you are looking to book a venue for your wedding this year DO NOT consider this venue.
