I had the absolute pleasure of working with The Sweetbeats Band as a wedding planner for my client's wedding, and they were nothing short of extraordinary. As a planner, I collaborate with many entertainment teams, but The Sweetbeats Band truly stands out on every level.
From the moment the music started, the energy in the reception room shifted. Guests from all over the world—different ages, different backgrounds—were on the dance floor all night. The band didn’t just play music; they created a shared experience that brought everyone together. It was seamless, electric, and unforgettable.
Serge, UV, and the entire Sweetbeats team were an absolute dream to work with. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly open to tailoring every detail to match my couple’s vision. Their talent is undeniable, but what impressed me even more was their heart. Everyone cared deeply about making the night perfect, and it showed in every song, every transition, every moment.
As a planner, I can confidently say that The Sweetbeats is one of the best bands I’ve ever worked with. If you want a packed dance floor, effortless collaboration and communication, and a team that goes above and beyond—this is the band to hire.
I cannot recommend them enough. They made the night magic. -

The Sweetbeats are a must hire and made our wedding reception the best party we could’ve asked for!
We saw them play at two other weddings over the years so we knew that the band was incredible. What we learned after hiring them for our own wedding is that they were as great to work with in the build-up to the wedding as they were on stage. We had multiple calls with the band’s leadership throughout the planning process and they were accommodating to every request. They made sure that we were all on the same page, all of our questions were answered, and that we felt incredibly comfortable heading into the wedding. The band is very organized and has a worksheet for the couple to fill out that allowed us to be as detailed as possible and ensure that we had specifics for every stage of the day.
From acoustic guitar during the ceremony and cocktail hour to showstoppers during the reception, the band absolutely kills it on stage. We worked with them on a general idea of how we wanted the setlist to flow and specified a few requested songs, and they executed perfectly, including a great hora. All of the musicians and singers are top tier and we had a packed dance floor the entire reception. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice of band and everyone had an amazing time.
We cannot recommend the Sweetbeats enough – hiring them was one of the easiest and best decisions we made for our wedding! -

20/10 recommend The Sweetbeats Band!! They were incredible at our wedding and all of our guests were raving about them for weeks after. They were a dream to work with leading up to our wedding, so organized, communicative, and truly experts at their craft. We were blown away by how incredible they were, such talent!! We loved their energy dancing and singing with us and our guests all night. Their song selections were AMAZING, they truly did not miss a beat. Wish we had them play even longer, no one wanted the night to end. We cannot recommend them enough!! -

The SweetBeats band is fantastic!!! It felt like the dance floor at our wedding was packed all night long. The music was great, the band was interactive and engaging with my guests, and they were so easy to work with ybefore and during my wedding! They were quick to respond to any pre-planning emails and happy to accommodate any request we had. They played a wide range of music- keeping all of guests happy, and they were extremely talented! One of the best decisions we made during wedding planning was booking The SweetBeats- I would recommend them to anyone! -

We had an overall great experience with The Sweetbeats Band throughout the wedding process including the communication and coordination leading up to the event. We feel that it went smoothly and we were able to clearly provide our preferences and that they were accommodated.
Several guests made comments directly to us about how good the band was - one couple was even able to get a business card as they are in the planning process.
We were very pleased with the violin player for both the ceremony and cocktail hour - It was exactly what we had envisioned. -

Sweetbeats absolutely made our wedding night unforgettable! They kept the energy just right with the perfect combination of songs, never veering into cheesy or boring territory. They knew exactly when to interact with the crowd and when to let the party flow on its own, creating an amazing vibe all night. Working with them was a dream—they were professional, responsive, and worked closely with our venue to ensure all approvals were in place and that they stayed within the decibel limits (which was a big deal since not every band could do that). They performed our first dance song flawlessly, adding an extra layer of magic to that special moment, and their music throughout the night perfectly captured who we are—timeless, old-school, but always ready to party! One of the best parts was that Sweetbeats was consistent from start to finish; they didn’t rotate performers, so we really got to connect with them. They even provided a wonderful acoustic guitarist and violinist for our ceremony and cocktail hour, setting the perfect mood and seamlessly transitioning from emotional moments to full-on celebration mode. -

I cannot recommend The Sweetbeats Band enough! They played at our wedding in September 2024, and they truly made our special day unforgettable. From the moment they started their first song, the energy in the room was amazing!
Their setlist was perfect and had everyone dancing. The musicianship was top-notch—each member of the band brought incredible talent, and their passion for music was evident. They learned a few of our requested songs, which made our first dance even more special.
What truly stood out was their ability to read the crowd. They kept the dance floor packed all night, seamlessly transitioning between genres and tempos. The band’s charisma and engagement with our guests made it feel like a truly personalized experience.
Additionally, leading up to the wedding, they were a pleasure to work with during the planning process. They were organized, professional, and genuinely excited about our wedding, which put us at ease.
They exceeded all our expectations, and we’re so grateful to have had them as part of our big day! I couldn't recommend The Sweetbeats Band more! -

SweetBeats was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with, and when our wedding day came, they rocked at the reception! They listened to our requests and had great song suggestions as well. Guests raved about the band that night and also the next day. People had so much fun during the dancing and it was impossible for guests to stay off the dance floor for very long. We also had their string duo play during our ceremony and they were fantastic.
We would highly recommend having the SweetBeats band play at anyone’s wedding! -

If you hire one vendor for your wedding, make sure it's The SweetBeats!! If I could give 6 stars I would.
From start to finish, The SweetBeats were such a joy to work with. Prior to our initial call with the band, I didn't understand that the majority of wedding bands aren't really bands - just a roster of individual musicians who get paired together for each wedding. Sergei, The SweetBeats manager, told us that one of the many things that sets their band apart is that they are in fact a band with the same musicians for every event. This was so evident on our wedding day as their chemistry was unmatched.
Coordination with Sergei leading up to the wedding was professional, seamless, and timely. Music is very important to my husband and I, and we went back and forth on whether to hire a band or DJ because of our specific music taste. Sergei took all of our preferences into account, and the band has an impressive roster with hundreds of songs from varied genres beyond your typical wedding music. On our wedding day, they absolutely nailed our taste perfectly, playing a wide range of songs from all our favorite genres.
The band FAR exceeded our already high expectations, and our dance floor was overflowing for the full 2 hours. My husband and I only left the dance floor once for a 5 minute break, and we didn't even see the bar at our wedding because we didn't want to miss one moment on the dance floor!
Our guests were absolutely wowed by the band, and we received endless compliments about their talent and energy and how downright fun the wedding was.
The band also learned three songs of our choice (all were very different genres) and they sounded even better than the originals. We couldn't get over the talent of not only the musicians, but also both vocalists.
We can't stop talking about how amazing The SweetBeats are, and can't recommend them enough if you want the most fun, memorable wedding! -

Best night ever.
We don't know where to begin. The SweetBeats made our wedding day unforgettable! From us initially reaching out, throughout the planning phases, and up until our wedding day, they were supportive, organized, thoughtful, and communicative in ensuring the day was everything we had envisioned. The day of, they did not disappoint. Every member of the band was incredible and had the crowd (of all ages!) dancing all night. Nearly every guest came up to us after the night was over or in the following days to let us know how amazing the band was and how it was the most FUN wedding they have ever been to. We would 10/10 recommend the Sweetbeats for anyone looking for a live band for their next event! -

All that we have heard over and over since our wedding is that our band was the best!!!! Everyone loved Sweetbeats- they were lively, fun and amazing singers and musicians. We love that they came out on the dance floor with their instruments and kept the crowd engaged. Several of our guests had to work the next day and planned on leaving early, but stayed because the band was so great. We would definitely recommend Sweetbeats for any occasion! -

Phenomenal, worldclass, friendly and fun, these guys are the real deal. Let me tell you about the jazz-specific portion of The Sweetbeats: The Jazzlanders. They are professors of music at Berkley Conservatory in Boston, top-tier professional jazz musicians who teach the craft, have played the world over, published, and won awards. And what do they do for fun?? They play weddings! It was an unbelievable privilege to work with Dave and the guys. We hired a 5-piece band of keys, drums, alto sax & clarinet (one guy), tenor sax, and bass. Dave worked with us to make our Jazz Soirée Reception a reality: we got up and sang with them, from Andrews Sisters to Frank to Streisand and everything in between. They were kind, flexible, and simply phenomenal. Hire them and dance the night away - you simply won't find better musicians anywhere. -

Sergei and his whole team were absolutely amazing to work with! For my wedding, I used them for the ceremony (trio of strings), cocktail hour (3 piece jazz band), and the reception (9 piece band) – the band went above and beyond what I expected. I got so many compliments about the music and UV, my particular band director, was amazing. He was easy to contact and took the stress out of everything. They didn’t have a specific setlist for me, he was able to just figure out what genre everyone was enjoying, which was so awesome! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great band in the Boston/Cape area. -

The true test of a good wedding reception is the dance party. The Sweetbeats delivered! Our guests were on the dance floor all night, and nearly a year later still haven't stopped talking about how great our band was. Can't recommend them enough. -

The Sweetbeats Rock!
As soon as the dance floor opened, every single person at the wedding RUSHED the dance floor and didn't stop dancing for the entire night! There wasn't a single song where people were sitting down. They are the best wedding band and entertainment group that we had ever seen, and we are overjoyed that we chose them to rock our wedding. The band knows what gets the crowd going and they interact with guests on the dance floor. We had countless comments after the fact, "THE BAND WAS AMAZING!" On top of the music, they are very professional. Prior to our the big day, the band manager, Sergei, made us feel very comfortable with our decision to choose The Sweetbeats. He was thorough, quick to respond and was very helpful with coordination. We are already trying to think of ways to throw a party and have them play for us again. I can't wait to make a trip to Boston to see them play. If you don't get The Sweetbeats for your wedding, you're doing it wrong. -

Everyone knows the key to a fun wedding is the band and the music. Having locked down a date in August 2019, and the perfect venue in Newport, RI, our focus turned to searching for a band that was going to be high-energy and fun, have pretty wide range in terms of types of music they can play, obviously sound incredible, and have the ability to learn a couple of specific songs for key dances. After doing a ton of research and watching a ton of bands we decided on the SweetBeats, and wow was that the absolute perfect decision.
First of all, their band leader Sergei was incredibly responsive, very professional, and super easy to work with every step of the way. The contracting and planning process with him was a breeze.
Most importantly though, SweetBeats showed up and absolutely rocked the wedding. They were a definite highlight of our dream wedding. We had a pretty specific vibe that we wanted out of the wedding music, and we were concerned that it would be difficult to pull off - basically we asked for non-stop high-energy party music spanning genres including classic rock, 80's, current pop, hip hop, etc. Additionally, we asked them to learn a couple of songs for our first dance and dances with parents. Well thank god that these guys are as talented as they are because they took our high expectations and absolutely exceeded them. They brought an incredible energy, had everyone dancing and partying the entire time, and their covers of songs were all perfect. We had a ton of guests comment that this was one of the best bands they've ever heard at a wedding and they were a definite highlight.
I can't recommend SweetBeats enough. Thank you to Sergei and the band, you guys rock! -

The Sweetbeats played for our daughter's wedding in NH in early August 2019 and were as amazing as everyone else has said. When they opened the dance floor, it was immediately mobbed and we were dancing for the four hours they played. Here are some of the reasons they are so good: 1. Excellent musicians who are all there - they had so much infectious energy and enthusiasm plus amazing talent. 2. During the sets, they played without a break between songs - none of that awkward quiet when you're on the dance floor and unsure whether to stay or go while the band queues up the next song. 3. Totally read the crowd - we were not a slow dance crowd. They played one slow dance, most people stopped dancing and they never played another one again. 4. Songs covered a range of eras and genres - 5 year olds to 80+ year olds were dancing! 5. They inspired people to do dance moves that they might not have done since they were in their twenties. 6. They did an extraordinary job learning our requests, and played their fantastic versions of them - not the studio versions - and soared. My brother's comment: "I haven't danced in 15 years. This is so much fun!" Everyone raved about the music!!! My cousin's comment was that she wanted to throw a party just so she could hire and dance to the Sweetbeats. -

We hired the Sweet Beats after seeing them at my friend's wedding in 2017. They did not disappoint. We had a packed dance floor our WHOLE wedding! We invited 220 people so the dance floor was overflowing. It was amazing! Sergei, the band director, worked with us before to come up with a reception timeline and is INCREDIBLY detail oriented. Everything went off without a hitch! The band learned my family's favorite song, Rock The Boat and brought the energy to the dance floor. I cannot thank the band enough and I hope to see them at the Green Dragon & friend's weddings in the future. -

We are so happy with our choice of The Sweet Beats band for our wedding! They were so easy to work with and really brought our wedding ceremony and reception to the next level. Our guests can’t stop raving about how awesome their performance was and very impressed by the quality. We had a special (and somewhat complicated) request to play our First Dance song live and mash up an acoustic and full beat/band version in order to get some slow dancing but then use the same song to bring on the full energy of the dance floor (we’re not talented dancers so didn’t want to stay out there solo for very long). They made us look so good and we are very impressed by their performance. We highly recommend The Sweet Beats band! -

Sweetbeats is a must have!
"the best wedding band I have ever heard!".....this is what our wedding guests kept saying to us the entire night of the wedding. Some guests even told us it felt like they were at an actual concert!!!
Sweetbeats is amazing! The announcements of the wedding parties was perfect, and as soon as the music started everybody was up and out of their seats all night. These guys are the best. They played our wedding in September and are the MOST FUN. Such incredible musical talent and really brought a level of professionalism and fun to the party that we just loved. We hated having to get off the dance floor at the end of the night. We got so many compliments after the wedding and plan to refer the Sweetbeats widely.
For what it's worth, they're also really a pleasure to work with. Just super organized and pleasant, definitely felt well taken care of and super confident that they were going to crush it (which, of course, they did). Sergei, the band leader, is responsive, friendly, and helpful.

User3272144 Sent on 10/24/2017We worked with Sergei and The Sweetbeats for our wedding in Newport, Rhode Island this past September. As you can see from the ratings here, we had an incredible experience with them, both at the wedding itself and through the planning process leading up to it.
The Sweetbeats provided a guitarist for our ceremony, a small jazz ensemble for the cocktail party, and a full band (including horns!) for the reception. Every piece of this puzzle was 100% professional, perfect for the setting, and a total blast. From the first chords struck for the ceremony processional (all the music for which The Sweetbeats learned custom for us) to the final riff of "Shout" played as the last song, The Sweetbeats made our wedding day the most fun and special one we could imagine. At the reception, the band members helped drive the party forward, even coming out on to the floor to play and dance with guests. And the music itself was excellent.
Along the way, Sergei (the band manager) was responsive and helpful. The band learned multiple songs for us and Sergei was always both accommodating and consultative. Would highly recommend them for any type of event! -

As soon as I reached out for information, Sergei (the band leader) was extremely responsive and professional. He encouraged us to come see the band at a show--we went on New Year's Eve and booked them the next day, as Sergei sent the contract through immediately, even though it was New Year's Day. The planning process was extremely organized, detailed, and tailored to our musical taste. Sergei made sure we felt comfortable and even gladly accommodated a special request we had for my dad's best friend to sing "Fly Me to the Moon". The band accompanied his song and even played the song in the key of G Major, as requested by our guest, which is a great example of this band's talent. Each band member is a phenomenal musician, and as many of them hail from the esteemed Berklee College of Music, you can rest assured that the vocalists and instrumental solos will be top notch. On top of their obvious musical talent, this band knows how to put on a SHOW -- with vocalists and back-up musicians alike interacting with the crowd to create the perfect, impossibly fun and unforgettable night. We had The Sweetbeats perform the classical processional songs on the guitar at the ceremony and jazz standards on a grand piano during the cocktail hour in addition to the reception.
