    Ruined my wedding

    She was 3 1/2 hours late. My wedding was supposed to start at 5pm, she was supposed to be there at 12pm, didn’t get to the venue until 3:30, so everything was late. She promised, and my husband and I paid for multiple things that were not performed. She was supposed to coordinate my wedding and have 6 servers serving food, she only had 3 servers and didn’t coordinate my wedding at all. My guest received cold food and no beverages when I paid for champagne, wine, punch, coffee and tea, and flavored water. Guests had 3 glasses on the tables for each person and none of them were filled with any beverages because she was understaffed and didn’t have enough servers to serve everyone at a reasonable time. My husband and I didn’t have a first dance, no announcements or anything because she was in the back getting cold food together when she was supposed to be coordinating the wedding. We paid for multiple desserts that were not served. It was a mess. Do not hire her. I would not recommend her to cater a dog show

We are normally known for our exceptional attention to detail and regret we were unable to meet your expectations. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service, and have done so for nearly 10 years without complaint. Our catering services have included weddings, baby showers, retirements, honorary celebrations, and believe it or not – birthday parties for four-legged family members. However, we realize we can’t get “do overs” when it comes to life events such as weddings, and in an effort to express our apologies, our records indicate that on November 5th, in a statement you signed, an attempt was made to make things right by issuing a refund in the amount of $1,573.00 for those items you identified as having fallen short of your satisfaction. We cannot undo what has already been done; however, we will always do what is right, fair and ethical for our customers when we haven’t fulfilled our services contractually. As noted, we expeditiously resolved your claim by issuing a refund.     Wedding Catering Disaster

    Shanika was approximately two hrs late for the wedding. Wedding was at 4pm at the reception to follow immediately. She did not get there till 5pm instead of 3. Guest were there with no food or appetizers. This set everything back in time. The food was not what we ordered. We ordered top of the line steak and what we got was tough flank, but paid higher price. Very unresponsive to phone calls. We paid for approx 10 more people then we had and did not have enough of all the food. In my opinion this was very unprofessional. After the wedding we tried to speak to her and she referred us to her attorney? She would not respond. I should have went with my gut feeling, since she cancelled 2 appointment we had set up for taste testing and was over an hr late to one. Very upsetting. The pies were good. I do not what anyone to go thru this experience on their special day.

    Only for desserts

    We booked TSS for our wedding. They graciously gifted us a discount from our first caterer leaving with our money. The tasting we had with shanika was amazing. She provided linens for us as well. However it was pulling teeth to get communication with the team. Two days before the wedding shanika tells me that she needs to leave prior to the contract time and take items with her for another wedding. We promptly told her that was not appropriate and she had a contract to uphold. After some back and forth she provided other people to stay while she left. The food provided was not at all on par with what was served at our tasting. At tasting we had hand breaded chicken and homemade waffles. At the actual wedding we had ego waffles, and what looked like dollar store cut up chicken tenders. The "omelet" station she told me they had done before turned out to be cold scrambled eggs with toppings. The desserts were delicious. The plated food from the buffet looked like dog food. The cupcakes were dropped so we missed alot of icing. But they tasted good. I'd recommend for sweets but not for catering. Was very disappointed. No one wants to have expectations on their wedding day that don't even come close to what we got.
