Five Stars - HIGHLY Recommend!
Choosing The Sunset Room at The Vista was the single best decision we made for our wedding, and we cannot recommend this venue highly enough! From the initial tour to the final send-off, the entire team was kind, professional, and incredibly thorough, ensuring our day was absolutely perfect and stress-free.
As first-time wedding planners, we were initially overwhelmed, but the team immediately put us at ease. They did a really great job running us through the entire process step-by-step, making it feel manageable. They were experts at breaking down and explaining the costs so everything made perfect sense. They provided excellent, trustworthy advice on everything—from vendor recommendations to insurance—and never steered us wrong.
Their flexibility was a lifesaver! They happily accommodated changes to our seating chart, guest list, bridal party size, and decor choices. They truly handled an overwhelming amount of the planning process for us, allowing us to simply enjoy being engaged. Their communication was always open and prompt, answering every question (even the silly ones!) with patience.
Crucially, the team was present during our rehearsal the day before and on-site the entire wedding day to ensure everything went according to plan. This level of day-of coordination reduced the amount of stress I felt as the bride to zero!
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! We loved having both the indoor and outdoor ceremony space options, neither of which felt cramped. The team enhanced the space by offering a wide range of colors and decor pieces for us to choose from.
A true luxury was having access to the beautiful Bridal and Groom Suites two hours before the ceremony—a rare and wonderful perk that allowed us to relax and get ready on-site. On the day of, the staff handled all the set-up and take-down, and also did a wonderful job engaging with our guests, making everyone feel welcome.
We were astonished by the extremely reasonable pricing compared to other venues in the area, especially considering how much is included. The Sunset Room provides incredible value without ever compromising on quality or service.

Everyone was super communicative and easy to work with. What I liked the best was that it was all inclusive and therefore, we didn’t have to worry about decorating or de-decorating during a joyful but also stressful time. I would highly suggest Sunset Room At the Vista. -

The sunset room from the very first tour we took has made our wedding experience as stress free as possible. We knew that they would cater to us and our needs and make every detail magical which felt so different from other tours we took. The venue itself is GORGEOUS and you get so much included in their package!! They are available to answer ANY question you have by text or email and get back to you ridiculously quick. They helped us pick so many of our other vendors too with their preferred vendors list (you’re not required to pick any, just there for reference) which alleviated even more stress. Special shout out to Jill who was with us for our rehearsal and day of coordination. She handled everything with such professionalism and grace. The ladies here know weddings and were so knowledgeable on everything. And the venue itself was absolutely stunning. This is the hidden gem you want to get married at. The Best Day of Our Life
My husband and I just got married on 11/2/2024, and had our reception at The Sunset Room. We are beyond pleased with the staff at the venue and could not be happier with how the day went. Throughout the entire planning process the women of the Sunset Room were there to answer any questions that I had or to assist in any way.
One thing that stuck out to me the most throughout this whole experience is how they go above and beyond for their clients. For example, we had asked them to send us their preferred vendor list to help us find a DJ. We selected our DJ from that list back in 2022. Unfortunately, there was unforeseen circumstances where our DJ could no longer do our wedding due to health issues that landed him in the hospital. We found out about this four weeks prior to our wedding. We were devastated, and did not know what to do since our wedding was one month away at this point and every place we reached out to had a wedding already booked. I reached out to the venue to see if they could help and they found be a replacement DJ that day for the same price as the DJ we originally had a contract with. They did their best to make the wedding planning process as stress free for the bride and groom as possible.
Overall, we could not be more pleased with the Sunset Room and I would recommend them to anyone who is planning on getting married!The Sunset Room at the Vista's reply:

The Sunset Room was the best decision we could have made when it came to planning our wedding. The women that work there go above and beyond to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. They take care of all the details which reduces the amount of things you have to worry about while planning your wedding. The catering company, Stratwood, will not disappoint you. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food. There are endless places to take amazing pictures that include a beautiful sunset as your background. Absolutely Amazing
My husband and I could not recommend the sunset room enough. Jill, our coordinator, was there for the whole process, from the day we toured to the time we walked out at the end of our reception. Any questions or concerns we had, she was there to help. The whole entire day went off without a single complication, or if there was one, Jill handled it, and we had no idea. The Sunset Room provides an extensive amount of decorating items and also allows you to bring your own in if you wish to do so. They also provided us with other vendor options in the area that they knew well and have worked with in the past. We did not have to worry about a single thing the day of our wedding, from setup to tear down everything was taken care of. The food, bar, and staff were all fantastic, and we could not recommend The Sunset Room more.The Sunset Room at the Vista's reply:

I had the honor of being the Matron of Honor in my sister and now brother-in-law's wedding this past weekend. I was blown away by the professionalism and care that was given to us during planning and at the reception by Jill at the Sunset Room at the Vista. She answered any questions that were had throughout the planning process, was thorough in ensuring that everything that the couple had planned was able to happen, and was very involved during the reception to make sure that everything went off without any issue. The reception space was gorgeous and everything that the couple had hoped it would be. It was beyond what I expected. The other staff were amazing as well and so engaged with guests that it felt that it was a big party for everyone. The Sunset Room made all of our wedding dreams a reality! Every detail we communicated to them was met, from the fine details to the overall vibe we wanted to have for our big day. Less than an hour before our ceremony it began to rain (we had originally planned to use the outdoor ceremony space). With not even a full hour to work with the staff at the venue went above and beyond to create a romantic indoor aisle for us to walk down with a beautifully decorated wedding arch for us to say our vows under. Our last-minute decision to hold the ceremony indoors was incredibly beautiful and intimate.
Our coordinator Jill Welsh was incredibly personable, professional and accommodating. Planning a wedding can be a stressful experience at times, knowing that Jill was taking care of the arrangements for us gave me one less thing on my wedding list to worry about. I knew from the start we were in good hands with Jill. Not only was the job done, but it was done with perfection. Even when I was stuck on a decision with decor or arrangements, she was always prepared with helpful suggestions.
The experience we shared with the entire staff at the Sunset Room was pleasant and professional from the very start. Always willing to accommodate, always making the process as stress free as possible for your big day. I strongly suggest The Sunset Room for any event you need a space for.

My husband and I have concluded there aren’t enough words to describe how amazing The Sunset Room and their staff are. My husband and I began our journey with the venue back in 2021 and I am so glad we chose them to host our wedding and reception.
The venue is beautiful! Stunning like something out of a magazine. The slate flooring and the beautiful flower wall are just a few of the highlights the venue has to offer. The vista is beautiful! The artificial grass really makes your outdoor wedding dreams everything you could think of minus the heels sinking into the ground and having soggy landscaping during the rainier seasons!
The venue handles everything! We knew going into this that it was all inclusive but the day of our wedding my husband and I just showed up and everything was handled which made the process a million times less stressful! They were flexible, they pivoted the day of our ceremony with us and the day was beautiful despite minor things that went wrong with our vendors and family’s punctuality!
The staff is amazing. Ryan and I were lucky to have 3 of the coordinators work our wedding and all I can say is this group is a WELL OILED MACHINE! They were friendly, compassionate and truly made the day as amazing as it was! We could not have done it without them. We have family members still contacting us saying how it doesn’t even look like we got married in PA that’s how elegant this venue is. It’s truly a diamond!!!
The food was amazing. The caterer the venue works with prepared the best meal possible! I knew I’d love every menu option when my husband and I did our tasting but the day of the food was better than I remembered! The waitstaff was fast, efficient and the buffet never went empty! The hors d’oeuvres were impeccably good. My favorite was the stuffed mushroom florentine!
All in all if you’re looking for a venue that will consider all your wants and needs for your special day or any event contact the Sunset Room! They took very good care of us, they bonded with us, they made our wedding day everything we could have dreamed of and more and took all the weight of our special day off our shoulders and turned it into something magical! If you are looking for a venue to celebrate that special occasion in your life, Sunset Room is 'THE PLACE'. My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here, this past September and we were absolutely delighted that we picked this venue. We especially loved this place because it was a one-stop-shop, with a great outside space for our vowel renewal ceremony, gorgeous reception hall that was beautifully decorated by an amazing staff. The Sunset Room is a diamond in the rough! The team is excellent top to bottom. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner. They were flexible with last minute surprises as well. The venue is modern and beautiful. And the VIEW....baybee, the view is unlike anything else I have seen. I wish I could get married all over again there. The all inclusive package was right up my alley. Food, beverages, decor, accessories, etc. You name it they have it. Plus you can bring whatever extra decor items you want. Short review: Perfect. Attentive, patient, and kind staff who go above and beyond. Gorgeous modern venue with beautiful, private outdoor ceremony area and balcony with a clear view of the sunset. Some people walk away from their wedding wishing they'd spent more on x or less on y - for the essentially all-inclusive experience (food, bar and alcohol, ceremony, reception, decor, linens, centerpieces, a bridal suite, day-of coordinators who work with you before the wedding as much or as little as you'd like - you literally do not need a wedding planner), every single dollar spent was worth it. We loved our experience and guests are still reaching out telling us it's the best wedding they've ever been to (three months later!).
Detailed Review: When venue searching in August 2020 for our fall 2021 wedding, we had two important criteria: 1. A one-stop venue so no one had to travel between multiple locations. 2. Outdoor ceremony space with back-up indoor ceremony space if needed, because Pennsylvania. We're in the Uniontown, PA area and considered every venue we could find between here and Pittsburgh (within our budget of course). As soon as we came to the Sunset Room (SR), my partner and I knew it was the one. The Sunset Room was definitely the most modern and versatile we could find in the area with a price tag worthy of what you receive. We mainly worked with Talyn and Michael throughout, and our day of coordinators were Michael and Cameron who did an incredible job. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff. I worked with them in the months before the wedding (I definitely had a vision and ideas), and they were always patient, flexible, and accommodating. Our day was truly perfect - a mild September day for an outdoor ceremony in their beautiful, private, and sophisticated space. The day-of coordination was amazing (they're like your secret service for the day, taking care of everything and always five steps ahead), the food was incredible (Stratwood Catering in White Oak), the cake was incredible (Tasty Bakery in Murrysville)... I could really write the longest review ever about the experience. Book with them!
Still here? Here's other details: Their cake table is so gorgeous! It's front and center so people can see that delicious cake you spent all that money on. The ceremony area is fenced in and gated, so the bride gets to make a "grand entrance" with the gates opening. This also makes it feel so nice and private. It's on turf / faux grass (it does not look tacky at all), so no worrying about guests chairs or shoes sinking into the ground or the ground being really wet if it's rained before your ceremony. It's accessible with handicapped parking, an elevator inside to reach the room, and multiple slopes. Beautiful area at the front of the room where the bridal party are seated - it has an amazing all-white flower wall (something that you would have to pay thousands for whether you're renting or buying any other place), dynamic lighting, and a projector. That also makes taking things to and from your car a breeze. The bridal suite is spacious and beautiful- a huge mirror with a countertop in front of it. It was the perfect size for all four of my party and I to simultaneously sit at and get ready. It's also equipped with a separate bathroom, a min-fridge for refreshments, a couch, and a safe (more on that below). It's a *private* room, accessible only with a code you choose, allowing you to step away for a moment and safely store everyone's things. It contains a very sturdy safe, which is only accessible by you and whomever you share the code with. Your coordinators will retrieve a person of your choosing to get gifts and empty out cards etc. throughout the night and take them to the private room. The layout of the place is awesome, the bar is in a separate area still open and connected to the main area, and has a balcony outside with a perfect view of the sunset. They send you home at the end of the night with all your remaining food, will help you gather your things and pack up your car, and make sure your every need is met.The Sunset Room at the Vista's reply:

I started researching venues on the knot and that is when I came across Sunset Room website and read their reviews. I was in instant love before even seeing the place in person. We went from small, intimate, DIY to upping our guest list, which was still pretty intimate but at that time Sunset was only allowed a certain amount before going full capacity. Talyn was so amazing and patient with me when it came down to all of my questions, me questioning everything in the contract, asking for all kinds of plan B, C and D's with Covid, weather and etc. She was literally my fairy godmother!! I promise you that. Between her and Michael OMG they literally made me cry so many times with excitement, reassurance, making sure every single little detail was dotted and still continuously asking me to the bitter end if everything was perfect🥺 I love them!!! I think about that venue, and staff all the time! I still keep in touch as much as possible!! They made our day as special as possible despite deep down how incredibly sad I was not being able to get married in the Vista Garden due to the bizarre cold, drizzling weather that we had paid for. Talyn knew it was so important for me, and allowed me to wait 30 minutes before ceremony to make a final decision before they set everything up indoors. She told me to stand as long as I wanted too before walking down the aisle, I sure did with my dramatic ass lol. Talyn, Michael and the rest of the staff are a dream team. All of our stuff was packed up to perfection. They took pride in everything they did. To say they went above and beyond is not giving them the credit they truly deserve! I would say they went "infinity and beyond" to honor every single thing I asked for, because I am crazy lol. I seriously thought that they would turn some of my requests down, and Talyn never said no to me, not once! The property is beyond beautiful, everything is so clean, and organized! I adored their private suite and they even have a safe for your cards you create your own pass code to it. No one has access to it. You have your own private bathroom in the suite. I went with the ultimate package. I wanted the full experience. The bar and bartender was phenomenal!! The bar is beautifully decorated. Their communication skills is impeccable!!! After my husband and I got engaged, we began the hunt for a wedding venue, not knowing exactly what we wanted or what to look for.
We stumbled upon the Sunset Room in Elizabeth and scheduled a consultation. We basically knew the moment we entered that we wanted to have our wedding there!! We booked in January 2019 for April 2020, not knowing what the next year and a half would hold.
So of course, COVID hits. And people panic, us being one of them since we were in the red phase and gatherings were completely banned. Talyn with the Sunset Room worked tirelessly with the owner Sandy to help us postpone our day. Not only did she work with us, but she also worked with our photographer, videographer and DJ to make sure we were all on the same page.
The Sunset Room was incredibly flexible with everything in regards to COVID-19 challenges. While there are many things they cannot control with the situation, the things they can control, they also let their couples control. When we even had a last minute issue with our officiant, Sandy (owner) stepped in and excitedly volunteered to officiate our wedding for us! Overall the planning process, although stressful, was made easier by the great communication with the Sunset Room staff.
The Sunset Room has packages for basically any couples budget. They have an indoor/outdoor space to accommodate COVID related restrictions. They had proper safety procedures in place and have adjusted the venue space to appropriately reflect current conditions (such as small arrows on the floor to indicate direction, hand sanitizer stations, etc). The Sunset Room even has a "design your own centerpieces" appointment where you go and literally work with someone to design your own centerpieces for your wedding from the amazing assortment of things they have to choose from. When they say they are all inclusive.. they mean it!
My husband, family, friends and I cannot speak highly enough of The Sunset Room and how our day went on 8/14/2020. Our delicious food was from the Carriage Inn (HIGHLY recommend!!!) and the staff were extremely attentive to everyone's needs.
Things may be a bit weird for couples during COVID, but Talyn and her team will make sure that the vision, although a tad different, is perfect. They sure did for us!!! -

People say when you try on your wedding dress you just know it’s the one and this is exactly how my husband and I felt when choosing the Sunset Room as our venue! From Day 1 the staff was incredibly helpful and made the daunting process of wedding planning easy. The Sunset Room itself is beautiful and one of the reasons I fell in love with the space is because it is beautiful even without wedding decorations. The space speaks for itself! When we first went to look at the venue they were still building the outdoor area and luckily it was finished and we were able to use the space. It turned out beautiful and the staff coordinates everything so well. It’s so convenient having the ceremony and reception in the same space. Even if we had to have had the wedding inside, their indoor space is just as beautiful and either way we could not have gone wrong. The staff truly knows how to make the wedding you are dreaming of come to life. Seeing the venue set up for our wedding was everything I could have wanted and more! They did an amazing job. I have no doubt that no matter what you are envisioning for your wedding that they will bring your vision to life. I know there are so many people that helped make our day incredible but we specifically want to thank Taylin, Katie, and Sandy. The staff is what really made choosing the Sunset Room such a no brainer. You will not be disappointed! -

Amazing Venue and Staff!
The Sunset Room well surpassed the expectations I had for my wedding venue! I can’t say enough about how great the entire staff is. I worked closest with Talyn throughout the planning process and she was absolutely amazing. She was always available to answer questions I had along the way. The entire staff made the planning process and my reception so stress free. I highly recommend The Sunset Room to anyone looking for a venue! -

Absolutely Perfect!!
Words cannot express how wonderful everything was at the Sunset room! Our wedding was perfect, that's how smoothly and well everything went on our special day. The girls at the sunset room; Talyn, Andy, and Katie were not only professional but had every detail down and helped to ease our minds on any and all questions that we had regarding the day. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything.
It was a huge relief, and I think one of the reasons why the day went so well. Looking back during our planning, we made the right call in picking the Sunset room as our venue.
Everyone of guests commented on how beautiful everything looked and how friendly the staff was.
Talyn who was the main consultant that we worked with, was beyond words on how organized, detailed orientated, just an overall calmness to any worry or concern that we had about the day. Because of her, my husband I didn’t have to worry about anything. She was in contact with every step of the way.
My husband and I joked about getting our wedding annulled just so we could work with these girls again! It was so much fun, easy and NOT stressful!!

Simply amazing!
I highly recommend the sunset room for any event from bridal and baby shower to your wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff goes absolutely above and beyond for everything. My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding reception. 💕The Sunset Room at the Vista's reply:

The place to make a Perfect Wedding Happen!
My wife and I had our wedding at the Sunset Room in June of 2019 and it was, by all definitions and means of the word, "Perfect". We could not have had an easier time planning the wedding and getting it to be exactly what we wanted. We did a "Carnival" theme, which the people at the Sunset Room had never done before. However, this was not a problem as the creative staff at the Sunset made our theme come to life! The night itself went smooth and just as magical as any couple wishes it to be. The packages they offer and fantastic! We went with the top package "Platinum" and for the price you paid, you got a lot of wedding for really not that much. Of all the "all inclusive" venues in Pittsburgh, this is really "bang for your buck". In sum, the people at the Sunset Room truly have your best wishes and intentions for your wedding. They will work tirelessly at all odd hours and never once did they make us feel like we were bothering them late at night or even on their days off! Absolutely Amazing! A dream wedding! Sunset Room is the place to celebrate! The staff made everything so easy. We were the lucky ones to get to break in the new outside facility. BEAUTIFUL!!! They even kept track of the weather and made sure we beat the storm. Who does that ? THE SUNSET ROOM! The staff made me feel like a queen. All of our guests were so impressed with the facility and the service. They are calling and talking about it still. They even packed up all our personal belongings put them in our car to take home. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience we had at The Sunset Room! From the time we inquired to the end of our wedding day, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate myself, my husband and my family. We truly had a wedding of our dreams!! They took care of every little detail and provided everything I wanted and more! It was simply a beautiful day that we got to ENJOY! Great food, great decor, great prices and GREAT services offered. It was such a fun experience and completely stress free! If you are looking for an all inclusive venue, this is your place to go!! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing!! Ashley Sent on 09/24/2018My husband and I just got married this past July and we couldn’t have found a better venue. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. When we called The Sunset Room to let them know we wanted to book with them. We made sure to let them know we wanted Talyn to be the one we work with. She is super sweet and excited that you’re getting married. As well as the rest of the staff. They made sure we had everything we wanted and helped us when we ran into some hiccups with important vendors needed for our day.

Talyn went above and beyond for us and was just the best through it all!!! I could never of asked for anything better!!!! Everything we changed and last minute things..... just so amazing!! I wish I could get married more often just to have the great experience again!!!!!! They made my day so easy and it was everything they said it was going to be and more!!!! I walked in and started to cry because they did an astounding job and I was just so happy. Amazing people and amazing venue. Thank you so much.... Kate Sent on 07/06/2018We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our wedding day! We had both our ceremony and reception here, and it was PERFECT. Not only do they have a ton of different options to choose from as far as ceremony setups and decorations, but the staff was super nice and helped us make sure all aspects of the night were covered. Not one thing went wrong and it was truly a stressless experience. I’m still getting compliments from guests about how beautiful the venue is.

Just had my sons wedding at the sunset room on Saturday June 30,2018, everything was more than we could have ever asked for. The food was amazing thanks to The Carriage Inn, thank you Josh and Holly for all your hard work, and your staff as well. The balcony has a breathtaking view of the hills and sunset. The staff were very genuinely kind, open to our specific requests, very organized and professional. The food was amazing! We received so many compliments on the venue and the food was also complimented as the best wedding food. It was a beautiful wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with the Sunset Room!

Sandy and Talyn were so patient and helpful during the past year of planning. I changed my mind a few times and they were always supportive and didn't mind Bridezilla being a pain! Our decor was breathe taking, something we've seen out of magazines! They assured all of our guests and our bridal party were taken care of and having the time of our lives! I would recommend this venue and staff to everyone! Thank you for everything ladies, I will be forever grateful that you created so many beautiful memories for my husband and I.
