Great experience

Newport Beachside Resort and Matilde Campo (the resort event manager) were awesome. We were a bit nervous because we never visited before signing or even having our event but the whole event was a 10/10! The resort event space and beach is awesome and our guests had an amazing time. We split the beginning of our event outside on the pool deck then moved second half inside into a party room. Great food also!
We also had our Friday welcome event and Sunday family brunch in the Sunny Isles Pier right next to the resort. Matilde also manages events for that also, and I’d recommend looking into that also.

Dream Wedding at Newport

My wife and I got married and Newport in April 2024. Our wedding at Newport was an absolute dream come true. Matilde is the BEST wedding event coordinator out there and once you meet her at Newport, you will know why. She made sure our day was nothing less than perect- from major to minor details. She made the wedding planning process painless and was very quick with answers and beyond accommodating from the day we signed the contract until we left the resort days after the wedding. I would suggest getting married at Newport for several reasons including the resort amenities, beautiful location and views, friendliness of the staff, the value for being right on the beach, and so much more. Several guests mentioned that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, how attentive and wonderful Matilde and her team was, and just how impressed overall they were. We are a gay couple, which we felt extremely welcomed and supported by everyone at Newport. Us being gay was never made “a thing” which is exactly what we were looking for so very LGBTQ+ friendly as well. Matilde and the Newport team made sure our weekend was absolutely magical and cannot recommend them for a wedding enough. We will be back and wish we could relive our wedding day at Newport forever!

Beach Ceremony

We are very grateful to Newport Beach Side Hotel for an amazing ceremony on the beach. Everything was perfect and very professional. Especially Matilde Campo. She was always very helpful to us and flexible to our needs. We would definitely recommend this venue for a beautiful wedding by the beach with perfect view of the ocean.

Best wedding ever!!!

Our dream wedding came to life at the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort. We always dreamed of getting married outside overlooking the ocean and to then move inside for the ballroom reception and this was just what we got. The hotel coordinator Matilde was amazing and had our back through every step of the planning process. Even when things didn't go as planned, with the pool deck construction not being done in time for our wedding, the hotel and Matilde went above and beyond to make things right and it all worked out beautifully!!! We had many guests from near and far stay at the hotel and they all had great things to say as well. The hotel staff was super kind and accommodating. The food was delicious and the venue turned out to look gorgeous. We cannot recommend getting married here enough! Thank you to Matilde Campo and The Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort for our beyond perfect wedding day and weekend!!!!

Amazing!!!

Matilde is the best! She is attentive, amazing, friendly, and everything you could dream of for your dream day. Matilde is the best and made sure our wedding was perfect. The venue is beautiful and ocean front! The food was fantastic! The chicken piccata was phenomenal. As a bride, I would tell any other bride, pick Newport Beachside resort and Matilde. You will have the day of your dreams be a reality!

Good Experience

We did our wedding at the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort on Sunny Isles Beach and do not regret it.
The ceremony on the beach was perfect for our wedding of 90 guests.
The cocktail hour by the pool deck was enjoyable for everyone.
The reception in the Atlantis ballroom was perfectly set up the way that we wanted it.
The communication was consistent and whenever we needed questions answered we would receive a response relatively quickly.
Working with both Barry & Matilde made this process easy.
The only hiccup we had was the way the chairs were lined up in rows of 5 on either side of the aisle. It should have been 6 but we were too late to catch this, so we had a few people standing on the sides. Not ideal but we made it work and there were not any major complaints from our guests.
The vendor package is honestly a great deal but beware the choices you decide on. Would NOT recommend Alore Event Firm as your choice for flowers or as a coordinator. Not at all the Hotels Fault but is listed on their vendors.

The best staff for our perfect day!

We can't describe what an amazing day we had getting married here! We worked with Barry Rubin, and he is absolutely wonderful. He worked with us when we had to change our date due to covid restrictions, and made sure everything for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day was executed to perfection. We got married on 6/12/21 and had our ceremony on the beach and it was absolutely beautiful, and our reception in the ballroom was the perfect end to the night. The food was great, the staff was so nice, and everyone had a great time!

Great venue

Everything went as planned, the ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious, the waitstaff was attentive. We had our wedding in the Atlantis ballroom, it was a very spacious ballroom with a view of the beach. We were also able to take all of our wedding pictures at the beach and the pier. The hotel offered a package that includes the photographer, Dj, and florist for an additional cost but it made it so much easier than looking through thousands of vendors. The waitstaff was great and the bartender was quick. All of the guests had a great time and we couldn’t have been happier with how our wedding turned out.

Amazing and the staff was so helpful!

We held my mother and father's 60th wedding anniversary and it was a beautiful and magical affair! The room was enchanting and the staff couldn't do enough for us! My parents had a night to remember and the Newport Beachside Hotel made that possible! I would recommend this hotel and staff completely!

Our wedding was better than we imagined.

Nice Venue for a wedding

Maria was our coordinator and she was amazing.
The venue is very nice, with access to the beach.
We had our ceremony at the beach and celebration at the ballroom.
Definitely I recommend this venue.
The only this is that need to improve the wifi.

Great venue

I feel I got a great value by hosting my wedding reception at the Newport. The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff made it easy to plan my event with little headache. I did a package which included food, the cake, tables, and rooms for the night. Overall, I was happy with the price and the end product. I would recommend to others.

There is SO much we could write here--but to sum it up: Maria and her team were FANTASTIC!!!! Our wedding could not have been more perfect!! Even though it was moved inside due to rain, it made the ceremony all the more intimate and inviting. The food was excellent--everyone definitely left full and happy!! Would highly recommend Newport with Maria and her team any day!!

The Newport Team was great to work with and made my daughter's wedding truly a very special event. The weather didn't cooperate for the planned beach wedding, but their team did not miss a beat in getting set up inside, and then converting back to our reception. The food and service was excellent!! Very attentive to the details and needs of the entire wedding party. The morning after the wedding we hosted a thank you breakfast for all who attended, and once again the Newport Team made is a truly special event. All who attended the wedding and breakfast have had nothing but positive things to say about the wedding and their experience. Thank You Newport Team!!

Finding the Newport beachside hotel felt like it was meant to be, the second we visited the hotel for the first time, we knew we had to have our wedding there. We had the BEST WEDDING EVER!!!! Barry Rubin, the Catering Director worked with us and was AMAZING! He was extremely responsive and would get back to us immediately or usually in less than two hours. The Newport also provides a vendor package with unbeatable value. They have connections that give you discounted rates for DJs, flowers, photography, videography, and wedding coordinating. We saved thousands of dollars and had an unbelievably beautiful wedding. Miami can be a rude and expensive place to get married in, but the service at the Newport was so kind and reasonably priced! Have your wedding here! You will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on July 21 st I married my best friend it was the best night of my life !! With the Help of Angie Solis it was the most incredible ceremony and reception. more than i could ask for really. she made everything I wanted become reality a real dream come True she was there for me through my entire process I didn't even hire a wedding planner and it turned out perfect. everyone in the hotel is very nice and welcoming. they meet all my accomodations and helped in any way the could. I would highly recommend this venue for the price you pay for ceremony and reception it gives you the opportunity to make your wedding beautiful and not blow the bank. And Again Angie Solis is your girl Ask for her she will help guide you and be there for you the day of and make sure everything goes perfect. also we were destination wedding we did the vendor package it was great !!!

on a side note if you choose to stay at the hotel what ever you do dont DO NOT get your hair or make up done at the salon in the hotel. This salon is not owned by the Newport it is leased by a real nasty person Named Vanessa she is the owner she seems nice on the phone only to find out she will rip you off she quotes you a low price over the phone and then when everything is said and done tells you ooo no you have long hair you have to pay extra all the sudden she starts adding things up and fights with you and tell you your wrong and she's right.
non the less my bridesmaid authorized her to charge there cards and split the cost which was about 270 way more than expected and then turns around and charged the card 500.00 each which was never authorized by anyone. my best advice is have someone come to your room and do you hair and make up or maybe pick someone else if you dont want to be ripped off and lied to.

Words cannot describe how happy and grateful we are with the entire staff at Newport Beachside Hotel. We held our dream sunset ceremony wedding at the Beautiful Sunny Isle Beach and reception inside the elegant Tiffany Ballroom. From the moment we had the tour with Natalie we felt this is the BEST VENUE for our wedding. The day of March 10, 2017 was beautiful and perfect day thanks to the entire catering team and Maria Medina, catering even coordinator. Maria is such an amazing person. She is the sweetest most kindhearted person, and always willing to go out and beyond to make sure you have a perfectly smooth special day. In regards to the food provided at the cocktail and reception is far the BEST FOOD carter at a wedding; not only from its presentation but also the amazing flavor. Also the service is phenomenal, very professional, and everything is always done in a timely manner. Overall our entire experience was fantastic.

Nataly and her team were amazing!!! We couldn't have done this without her. The vendor package is a great deal and I had to plan the whole thing while in San Diego. My husband and I had a wonderful experience getting married here in November 2016! Even though we live here in FL, all of our friends and family came from MI. Words cannot begin to express my gratitude to the team at the Newport for executing a FLAWLESSLY event!!!! We held our class reunion this past weekend and the entire process was simply amazing! From the initial planning, booking and the execution of the actual event. I could not be happier with the outcome. We were a small group on a very busy weekend. They had a lot of large groups onsite, yet they never made us feel like less than....on the contrary, we felt like we were their #1 clients!!! The level of all star customer service that their staff provides should be the industry standard!!! Nataly and Vladimir you both are some of the best in the business and you can count on my business in the future!! I would refer this venue for any type of event over and over again!! The process of getting married at the Newport was very transparent and enjoyable from start to finish. Nataly was able to accommodate our requests and made sure everything on our special day was taken cared off. The food and service during the reception was phenomenal, everything was well coordinated. Recently attended a wedding here and I just had to write a review on the amazing service. The wedding it self was filled with loving people but the staff here was by far more than expected. They tended to every need of all the guests. During the entire wedding they made it a seamless ceremony. I am truly considering this venue for my future wedding. The wedding was extravagant yet very affordable. They were even able to incorporate wedding sparklers in the Grand wedding Exit on the beach!! I was told they got the sparklers from grandweddingexit.com I will definitely look into that. The wedding was an over all enchanting event!!!!

Words cannot describe how HAPPY we were with the Newport! From the moment we had our tour with the AMAZING Natalie, we went right out to the pier which was exactly what my husband and I were going for completely different, and the absolute most perfect place to say I DO!! You feel like your in the middle of the ocean and there is literally just you and him at the end, so incredibly magical. Then we went to the ballroom which of course over looks the ocean it was just heaven. I wish we could re-do that day over and over again. The food is by far not the BEST wedding food I have ever had! The staff at this hotel is the best I have ever seen, they all went above and beyond to make our weekend a HUGE success. The Newport occasions team Natalie, Pam, & Abby, are the MOST INCREDIBLE TEAM!! We cannot forget Vladimir who helps run the show the day of the wedding!! Their communication with each other and with us was open and honest through the entire process. My husband and I would highly, highly recommend this incredible venue and team! We have created a lifetime of friendship with this team and we are forever grateful for everything they did for us!!

My mother got married here over the weekend and all in all we rented ten rooms. From day one Nataly, in Catering made the wedding planning stress free. Everything my mom dreamed of she was able to get. She got married under a tiki hut with the sand in her toes like she dreamed of and had the reception indoors in the Tiffany Ballroom and we danced the night away.
The wedding turned out fantastic. Everyone raved about it saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended. During the wedding, the wait staff was fantastic. The food was delicious too! At the end of the wedding, the staff was on point assisting us in picking up. Breakfast at the cafe is delicious. I love the waffle bar! As a bonus we asked for late check out and they let us check out at noon.
I would not hesitate to host another event here. Even when there was a mix up with one of our rooms they upgraded us to make up for it. It was my first time staying there and I was very impressed by the room decor. The beds and pillows were super comfortable as well.
Ask for Nataly, you will be in the best hands. She will plan your event to fit your vision and your budget. She is amazing and super sweet!

My husband and I got married within two years of relocating to south Florida. We both decided in true Adam and April's fashion that we wanted to have a destination wedding and invite our family and friends near and far to witness our union. Well thank GOD we meet Pamela Presley because she was AMAZING!!!! Pamela really meet all of our expectations from customizing the perfect cocktail and reception menus that our guest are still talking about to this day . She even customized a "beach day" the next day for all of our guest with a beautiful spread of food, beverages and cabanas. Pamela is simply the BEST and a joy to work with hands down!!!!

Having my wedding at the Newport Beach Resort was the best choice I had ever made. It was beautiful, very elegant and the staff was very professional. The Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort was the venue I chose to host my wedding and reception. I had a beautiful beachside ceremony with the ocean in the background and my reception inside the hotel ballroom. The staff was incredible and it was all captured by my amazing photographer Alfredo Valentine (www.CoutureBridalPhotography.com). Being a bride in Miami is extremely stressful, there are so many venues, hotels, restaurants, banquet halls, dress boutiques, bridal shops, etc. to choose from. My wife and I had a very simple wedding and honestly it wouldn't have been so perfect if it wasn't for our wedding planner Natalie Jimenez. She is the sweetest most kind hearted person i have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and her girls don't fall far behind. The day we met with Natalie for everything she worked with us, she didn't try to get us to spend more money on unnecessary things. She even suggested things we can do ourselves so it would be more cost efficient. She has been such a blessing, she was very patient and calm even when i was nervous and anxious. Our weekend was absolutely perfect in every way and I can't even begin to thank her. If i had to choose everythig all over again, I would definitely pick Natalie as my wedding planner all over again. I would definitely suggest her and the hotel to anyone and everyone. My wife and I also loved the fact that she was even more excited because we were a same sex couple. She made the planning and wedding such a breeze. It was perfect and so enjoyable because of everything she did.

Our wedding at the Newport Beachside Resort was unbelievably awesome. Pamela and her team went above and beyond to make sure me and my guests had a fantastic night. They allowed us to create our our menu that was fantastic! Pam made sure we had all of our bases covered and recommended amazing vendors. The banquet manager Vladmir was a huge hit. He made sure we had everything we needed and that the food was exactly as requested. They were extremely accommodating with the rehersal dinner held by the pool. The entire day went better than I ever could have imagined and that is hugely due to the event staff at the hotel. Love them and am so happy we held our wedding there.

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Newport Beachside Hotel and it was so special!! The staff and event planner are amazing they really take care of every need you may have and pay attention to the details you want. The kitchen is unbelievable food was fantastic and they made our rehearsal dinner a night to remember can't thank you restaurant staff enough they really did a wonderful job!! Our out of town guest can't wait to come back for a visit!

We were originally hoping to host our wedding weekend in the Upper Keys (FL) but in dealing with many of the locations down there, found them to be overpriced and less than responsive to our booking needs. So when I found Newport Beachside, and specifically Pamela Presely (Director of Catering) we quickly changed our minds and moved forward in planning our November 8th wedding here! From the moment we first visited - to check it out - we felt like we were "on vacation" (even though we live locally!) and that was the feel we wanted for our guests; esp. those traveling from out of town - so when the contract came back with everything Pamela had promised, we knew this was our place! But we also didn't didn't want to taste the food for the first time at our tasting, since they'll make sure all is well then, so we dined in the restaurant one night, "incognito" and the food was wonderful...that was a Saturday, and we booked our event on Monday! Pamela made everything VERY easy, helping even in areas she was not responsible for, and the banquet and catering staff we interacted with before, during and even after the event, were outstanding! I can't provide enough positive feedback about all of them - especially Vlad (Banquet Manager) Conrad (Lead Banquet Server) and Rhonda (bartender - who didn't even know who we were on one visit, and started mixing drinks at the Tiki Bar to get just the right color of blue for our signature drink!) The entire team took excellent care of us and our guests! We had banquet events both Friday (Welcome Reception) and Saturday afternoon/evening (Beach Ceremony/Cocktail Hour/Dinner Reception) and our guests described both as "the best they had ever attended" thanks, not only to Pamela's help in planning, but also to the excellent food and service they received! The chef and his team stepped out of the box and created recipes for menus that I had provided (not their pre-planned offerings) and everything was so good, my guests wanted recipes!

We were fortunate enough to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday. I can't begin to praise the efforts by the catering team in making this a successful event. We were able to hold the venue in the back of kitchen 305 and Jonathan was personally involved in making sure everything went without a hitch! Kudos to the entire team!!

I am so happy to celebrate my wedding at the Newport Beachside Hotel! They have been very helpful, especially the wedding team (Abby and Pam) they make you feel comfortable and make arrangements so you can have the wedding of your dreams!! Plus the hotel is beautiful, in front of the beach and great location.

Pam was awesome & went above and beyond to help me. My dad had a stroke 2 months before my wedding and I was very stressed but Pam eased my worries and handled everything. Beautiful venue location. My family had a valentine's day event there as well earlier this year and it was beautiful. The space is comfortable. Not to mention you have differnet room spaces to chose from. In my case everything will be done in the same location so i get to use almost all the rooms. Pam who is head of catering is great. Reasonable, down to the point and will do all that is possible to assist in the best ways possible. I can't wait to get married there next year. I'm sure God willing it's going to be nothing short of amazing.

Abby was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable from day one. I was able to tell her exactly what was on my mind. We had great communication. We had an amazing wedding at the Newport!! I love the style and is exactly what my husband and I were looking for. The only thing I recommend if you do your hair at the spa make sure is someone that is very experienced. I was not satisfy. I'm still waiitng to hear from a manager. But overall great experience.

My wedding was exactly how I expected, thanks to Ms. Sarno and Mr. Alba. I highly recommend this Resort.

Everyone involved in the McBride/Cunningham wedding at Newport Beachside Hotel were soooooooo great! They catered to our every need and made sure our special day went smoothly! Tammy Mamalamud was great at everything she did. Vladimir Michel was the banquet manager. He went above and beyond to make us and our guest have a great time. Kimberly Abbott works in the HR department at the hotel but she was also our officiant. If anyone needs a wedding officiant I would recommend her. She was sincere and unique when it came to our wedding. She also stayed with us after the ceremony to make sure we were enjoying our reception. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. Everything was perfect. I give everyone at the hotel 5 stars.

would loveee to take this opportunity to thank with alll my heart the staff at newport beach resort...especialllyyyy Rezida, alba, tammy, and i believe his name is vladamir the amazinggg man incharge with alba of the actual party.. all i can say is that this crew handled so many personal touches for my wedding..they made sure that even though my room was not ready when we arrived for early check in, they had a beautidul room wiating for us to start in...rezida is just above and beyond any expectation i have ever expected even though a couple of snags rezida took care of it with every personal touch she could...always keeping in touch making sure everything they offered for me was taken care of and onpoint. and during the reception alba and vladamir made me soo happy made me feel like they had been family guests and not just someone looking to make money off of our every bopttle purchase of whatever we needed!! i loveee them even grabbed them ion the dance floor by demand bc they had been such great assets to our event.and my 4 year old and tammy are bffs duting planning tammy went out of her way to play and keep my daughter entertained so i could have a min top process colors tables seating etc!! lolol i am just soo happy!! the room was perfectttt so cute and enough space for all the craziness to unfold..almost makes me depressed knowing that the wedding is over and i am not having another party there!! lol this venue will deffff be the place of my future baby shower parties etc my family and i could not have been happier!! thank u guys sooo much!! xoxoxooxo

we had our wedding at the newport beachside hotel and resort in sunny isles,fl. the hotel is really pretty and the service is great! from the beggining the director of catering shows you around the hotel, the different ballrooms, and ceremony sites! they helped answered any question we had and also accomodated our special requests! we had a tasting day, to choose our menu selections! everything tasted really good. they took care of every detail corcerning the decoration and made sure everything was the way we had asked! our wedding was amazing and we could not imagine having it anywhere else! we would recommed this location, we had our ceremony cocktail hour and reception at the hotel and it came out perfect!

Newport Beachside is such a beautiful resort! From the first time we saw the place we knew we wanted to have our wedding! Tammy was amazing! She made me feel like we had been friends forever! She always answered my calls and emails right away and helped me with all my decisions along the way! The day of the wedding she was a gift from god! she made sure my ceremony, my reception, and everything in between was perfect! and it certainly was! The Newport is an amazing venue! We had the most amazing wedding... Holly was FANTASTIC. There is no way we could have had the wedding we did with out her. Holly (wedding coordinator) is simply amazing; she is calm no matter how stressed you are and is so easy going, she really set the standard high for my maid of honor who is currently engaged and looking for a venue! Michael (kitchen manager) constantly ensured that we were happy with the food and drink for the entire weekend, and he didn't need to, it was all fantastic! Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They truly made our weekend a great success

Holly was my coordinator and was just amazing. She answered all my emails so quickly, she made me feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay there and she produced my dream wedding. Michael was the banquet manager who handled our dinner and did a fantastic job. He made sure that we always had a drink and were happy at every moment. The Newport was an amazing place to have my wedding and reception. Holly was wonderful to work with. She was always prompt with email responses to ALL my questions. They were flexible with the menu, which my guests enjoyed very much that night. We held the our festivities on a Friday night to keep the costs down. My family flew from Delaware so finding an affordable hotel right on the beach was a dream and the Newport made my dream come true. The night of the wedding went very smoothly. Holly was there at the start but Michael stayed throughout the night. He catered to our needs (ie. turning up the AC and sending our food to the room since my husband and I did not have an appetite that night). Michael also surprised us with a bottle of champagne, chardonnay, and whiskey as a gift from the hotel. Our hotel room was very spacious and even had a full size refrigerator and kitchen sink area, which was helpful when we ate our wedding dinner the next day. I would not have changed anything about our venue or menu. Great experience.

Since the first time we visited The Newport Beachside resort we immediately knew that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding at!! They definitely offer the best prices and value for hold a beach wedding in South Florida. The entire staff was fantastic to work with from start to finish especially Tammy Malamud which was our catering manager. She made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and went above and beyond to make sure that everything turned our as we imagined on our wedding day! She was always very prompt on get back to me and happily assisted us in selecting the linens and even upgraded us to chiavari chairs!! She was even able to have our bridal suite ready earlier than average so that my entire bridal party and I could get ready comfortably. The staff on the day of was very helpful and the service was fantastic. All of our guests were very impressed with the food, level of service and overall experience. We could not have chosen a better place to hold our wedding at and we could not have been happier!!

Right from the beginning, the Newport Beachside Hotel provided me with the best service. Tammy Malamud was the Event Planner whom I dealt with and she made me feel as a special bride! Tammy went a long way to accomodate my wishes and my husband's wishes. She helped me with all the decorations and even provided me with ideas on the wedding. My husband and I couldn't have been happier in having our wedding at the Newport Beachside Hotel since all the personnel there made us feel like king and queen and made us feel very special on the day of our wedding and on the days of our stay at the hotel. We recommend this hotel for their service and their great food. The area is beautiful since it's right on the beach. And I THANK Tammy for making our wedding day unforgetable by doing everything possible to make our wedding day very special!

The Newport and staff were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Tammy Malamud was our catering manager and she was so acommodating and flexible. She had good communication with me and was always so pleasant to work with. She went above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative! The staff on the day of was very helpful and the service was great. My guests have even commented on the level of service being good. We've also received compliments on the food and overall experience there. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Not to mention, for being a resort on the beach, the prices are unbeatable!

This place was GREAT! Tammy Malamud helped us with everything. My husband and I looked at many places on the water, in Monroe, Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county (intercoastal or ocean) and this place was beautiful and had EXCELLENT prices. It was also great to have it at a hotel because we had a lot of out of town guests. Even the guests that were local stayed the night. Your guests get discounted room rates. Viviana helped us with guest rooms. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue especially if you have always dreamed of a beach wedding.

Holly Pacheco and the rest of the staff were awesome. We went through many changes through the course of our wedding planning and this crew was very patient and helpful. The reception food was latin style and very delicious, their premium open bar is very nice and the Tiffany Ballroom worked out very nicely with the colorful lighting we opted to have. We also had our ceremony at the beach, which worked out nicely (with the exception of some sunbathers lurking around). I recommend this resort for a destination wedding. It's a great value for the money and the service is impecable.

The Newport was a great location for a great price. The food was great and the location was ideal. The banquet hall is new and there is a great view of the ocean. We had many guests from out of town and they loved the resort. It was a great weekend getaway for all of our guests!

The Newport advertised their $60 wedding package and it seemed to good to be true. It was somewhat difficult to find reviews for their weddings, and the hotel's reviews gave us reason to be skeptical. Still, the price fit our budget, the venue had beach or poolside (overlooking the beach) ceremonies, and above average rooms for the reception to be held. Although the public aspect of this space will not be for some people, it was nice to have the opportunity to view other weddings that were being held at the Newport, and this helped with our decision to sign the contract with them. Based on some of the reviews of the hotel we still were mindful of potential hidden fees, and unforeseen additional costs, but in the end their pricing was true to what we agreed to, and they had the flexibility for us to add on to our basic package (e.g. extra hour for the open bar, and upgrade to colored napkins and chiavary chairs). There were a few minor hiccups along the way, but their entire catering staff was quick to help each other out, and on the day of, they helped keep me sane!
The food was delicious, and their kitchen was even able to make special dishes for our vegan guests! The bartenders were also very accommodating to guests requests, and helped keep everyone happy and dancing all night long! We knew that we wanted the convince of hosting all of our events at one location, but we underestimated the value of having a catering team to help with all of the finer details. The best reward was seeing and hearing how impressed our guests were the entire night!

As soon as we walked into the Newport, we knew it was going to be our wedding venue! Holly was a magnificent coordinator. She helped us plan our wedding, from the food we selected to the linens we used, while we lived out of state. The rehearsal dinner was great! Although we couldn't have our beach ceremony, due to rain, Holly was able to set us up in the room outside the upstairs ballroom. Holly and her staff made the cocktail and reception wonderful as well! We were very happy to have selected the Newport!

Our wedding was amazing! The wedding coordinator, Holly, is the absolute BEST. She is very professional, thorough, and dependable. She worked extremely hard to make our day special and perfect. The food was delicious! All of our friends and family are still raving about the party and food. My only compliant was with the AV person. The WONDERFUL wedding coordinator had to run to the store and buy a CD player and microphone bc the AV guy showed up with only a speaker! ANd still during the ceremony our guests were not able to hear our ceremony on the beach bc the sound still didnt work.

We had our wedding at the Newport in April 2009. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Holly the coordinator was the best! The other banquet managers etc. went above and beyond even swapping wine that was more expensive and wasn't in our contract to make some of the guests happy. We came from out of town and the entire time I stayed at the Newport I felt like a rockstar! Our guests, however had some issues with rooms, check in etc. but didn't mind because the staff gave free rooms/breakfast etc to make up for the hassle. The ceremony on the beach was beautiful followed by the reception in the ocean front room. Everyone LOVED the waitstaff as well as the bartender who we had for the rehearsal the night prior as well as the wedding. The prices were also reasonable. Would definitely recommend this venue and might even go back on vacation in the near future. Fun time had by all!

Beautiful Weekend

Matilde and her staff did an amazing job with everything! The personal touches from the room, to the rehearsal dinner to the reception was perfect!
My wedding was on Saturday, 10.22.22, a sunrise wedding & it was perfect. An amazing weekend was had by all!!!

I had my wedding on July 7th 2018 on the beach and it was beautiful. That was my favorite part for us was the beach ceremony, the weather was perfect. We had our ceremony at 6:30pm and that was the perfect time, settings everything. I did my own little touch with the arch a little with Alore flowers as well and it was perfect... The cocktail hour was ok nothing too fancy besides we was busy talking pics for an hr or so. The guest said they enjoyed the cocktail time to talk and laugh and the appetizers was delish..
OUR reception was simple and wonderful I don't like too much excitement. Thanks to Maria Medina she walk us through everything and helped out alotttt she's the best.. The tasting for our entree was delicious omg the mashed potatoes the guests loved every piece of it and some more. It would Be great if the walls in the reception room wasn't so dull and boring but you can jazz it up just don't break anything lol. We had the room till 11:30pm and we had a wonderful wedding and so did our guests. It was very intimate with family and close friends 30 guests for a reasonable price.

My wedding coordinator Natalya was the best, I was getting married outside but the weather wasn't good so she took action and had my ceremony in the Tiffany ballroom room because she was looking out for our best interest. The hotel was great also it was some fees that wasn't told to me the bride and my guest was very upset but the front desk customer service took care of everyone and all my guess was pleased with the results. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change anything! Thanks again to my wedding planner Natalya highly recommend her ??

Everything could not have been better! the location, the food, the service and especially the event coordinators. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were not stressed (even though we were). I think the best part was that I didn't feel like I was missing something. I enjoyed my family, friends, and my spouse. I am very happy with Newport. I would do any event with them again and again

This turned out to be such a great venue for our wedding. The beach ceremony could not have been more beautiful and our brunch reception was perfect for us. The food was so good, I had guests telling me it was the best "wedding food" they had ever had. The ballroom was lovely, I am so happy with how everything turned out. The only hiccup was the check in process the day before the wedding and getting checked into our complimentary suite the day of the ceremony, but overall I am very pleased with the experience. The suite had some amazing views and I can't wait to stay again on our anniversary!

Thank you for helping us have a wonderful reception Newport! Holly Pacheco is awesome! She made us feel comfortable and is flexible and makes you feel like a friend. We made an instant connection with her! She made sure we were happy with their services and always treated us like we were the only couple she was working with. We felt like royalty! And the food wad delicious! Only one of my guests stayed at the hotel for the night so I dont know about their services as a hotel but as a catering hall we were very pleased with the service.

I did not give them a 5 for value for cost because it seemed like there was not enought food at the cocktail hour. There were some lounge seats and it seemed like the waiters only served guests seating there. I actually had to go and ask them to go take some food to my family that did not fit there and had to be standing a little farther.
Another thing was that coffee was supposed to be served but it never did.

Holly Pacheco is AWESOME! We really wanted a beach wedding, but because of the prices we were forced to look beyond Fort Lauderdale. Two coworkers said they had weddings there so we went to check it out and we fell in love the moment we walked in! The hotel has old Florida charm and views that are incredible. Holly was more than just the catering director, she was our wedding planner! She helped us make decisions and referred great vendors. She even stayed the later the day before our wedding to help us with the rehearsal.

At our taste testing, we asked if there was a way to do Cuban Sandwiches as an hors d'oeuvres which was not on their menu and the Executive Chef was so accommodating. They did the Cuban sandwiches and added a a Sundae bar to be served with our cake! They even had two other events happening at the same time as our wedding and you wouldn't have guessed from the level of service we received!

First off let me say that Holly Pacheco did an amazing job with everything! She was so easy to work with, friendly, flexible and comforting when I got a little stressed out. The food was really good, the bartenders were generous, the wait staff was very nice and everything was taken care of. The only minor complaints I had was that we didn't receive the coffee and tea service at the end of the night but I don't think many people really cared at that point and that they had booked a pool party with bikini models and dj's on the same day as the wedding but luckily the weather wasn't the greatest so no one really showed up for it... and Holly had assured me she'd pull the plug herself if they were interrupting anything. The Newport is a great venue for an affordable price, especially after looking around at other venues in South Florida.

The Newport Beachside and their catering director Holly Pacheco was amazing during the entire wedding planning period up to our special day. I probably had about a hundred changes during the planning and Holly was more than happy to help me with them all, even the special requests. I had a third-party caterer for my Vietnamese wedding. Although she might take some days to repond to emails/phone calls, she does return them. She was very professional and extremely enthusiastic throughout the entire process. She is like a friend during the entire process. The Newport was very affordable, for us as well as for the guests. The the hotel was also very flexible with all my events, rehearsal, dinners, reception, third-party caterer, and my many changes, as mentioned. There was a little bit of chaos with serving the dinner for the reception, but I did have 8 courses (Vietnamese wedding) so I can't really fault them. Only 1 table missed 1 course. Even still, the banquet manager, Michael O'malley was wonderful at calming me down so I can enjoy both the Rehearsal Dinner and the Reception. No request was left undone. They both deserve honorable mention for the their hard work. The entire wedding was beautiful, and highly affordable. Looking at it, you would have thought that we spent 2x as much. Also, their open bar was not stingy at all, all the guests were very loose and there never was a line at the bar.

I highly recommend The Newport for your upcoming wedding if you want a beach wedding and a reception overlooking the ocean.

We had an awesome wedding at the Newport! Our reception was in the Atlantis ballroom overlooking the pool area and ocean. Working with Holly and her banquet staff was great. They were very flexible and did everything they could to make our day magical. MANY of our guests complimented the delicious food and the "generous" bartender. We booked the venue after a long search and we are very happy with the value of service that was provided to us.

had a wonderful experience working with Pamela from Newport!!! She was always there when needed. My guests enjoyed their stay at the hotel. There were a few hiccups but Pamela got right on those and made sure things were right! I enjoyed being able to have my ceremony, reception, and guest accommodations all in the same place!! The hotel is beautiful!! The package that my husband and I used was the Have Your Cake ($60) package. This package aloud us to get the most for our money. Our guests were not left wanting more food and the staff was very accommodating to special dietary needs. The stay for the wedding night as well as the free HONEYMOON to Punta Cana,DR were amazing!! I could go on forever!! I will always remember my BIG day with a smile and I can't wait for the free night stay on our one year anniversary!! Thank you Pamela and Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort for everything!!

We married in the Atlantis Mezzanine at 6:30pm on July 5, 2014. The Mezzanine has beautiful views of the ocean, palm trees, and the new pier; and the Atlantis Ballroom was very spacious for our reception of over 100 dancing and partying guests (including energetic toddlers!).
The service we received was second to none! Everyone from Cedric in valet who greeted us timely and with a smile to Monica at the front desk who gleefully upgraded our room to accommodate our large, blended family, to the servers in Kitchen 305 where I kicked off my Bachelorette Party (organized by Therese Yelder. Thanks, girl)! Michelle Theodule and her staff including Val & Winston were impeccably professional in handling all of our families reservations and their check-ins. Our accommodations were clean, up to date, and we received fantastic service from Jameson and the Bellmen when we moved from our room to our beautiful Honeymoon Suite (the view is to DIE for!)
It was also great that our family and friends were able to enjoy the beach, the cabanas, and the pier to see fireworks on the Fourth of July!
As far wedding staff goes, I can't hug Tammy Malamud and Pamela Presley hard enough for their personal, professional (and VERY patient) handling of this crazed bride! They were available to my fiance and I via email or phone. The Newport has an extensive list of reputable and talented vendors, such as Keenography( Photographers), Event Decorating Academy (decor), Saxophonist Jon Saxx, DJ Big Ben and Ana Paz Cakes,all of which our guests raved about! And speaking of food, Tammy and Chef George were very accommodating with our Traditional Caribbean food requests, and our guests LOVED the food!!!
Our wedding was perfect, and we thank the Newport Beachside from the bottom of our hearts for helping make it the best memory of our lives!

We had our dream wedding at Newport Beachside Resort and it was amazing! Our event coordinator Pamela and the staff were very accommadating and understanding. Everything went smoothly with minor hiccups, but hey its a wedding, right? Ha! I would recommend this venue to anyone that is interested!

Our wedding at the Newport was amazing. Pamela worked with my budget and was amazing at making sure I got everything I wanted. She was especially helpful the week before the wedding, and ensured that everything was going to be great.
