The spa at Norwich inn is absolutely breathtaking! Inside and out there are so many photo opportunities, must see in person! Great service staff and food. GARY, the Director of Sales, was truly heaven sent! From day one he treated us like a family friend and we are so grateful for him! My family can’t stop talking about him still. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more.. Highly recommend!

We had chosen The Spa at Norwich Inn for our wedding venue. It was the first and only venue we saw because we knew right away this was the place we wanted to get married. The Director of Sales, Gary Baker was great. He listened to what he wanted and there were numerous times when I called and emailed him regarding something I forgot, wanting to add, or just ask for advice. He responded promptly and made sure I felt at ease. The staff were so kind and friendly, making sure we had food and drinks while we were taking our photos. The reception was beautiful and it was such an amazing time. I'd highly recommend choosing this venue for a wedding or any event!

What a wonderful experience at The Spa at Norwich Inn! We celebrated our 20th anniversary and had a vow renewal. Michele is wonderful. It's beautiful there, the spa is wonderful, and the staff is amazing. They just can't do enough for you. Highly recommend!

My wedding ended much earlier than expected and I was worried there would be a problem but when people arrived the staff already prepared to serve. They worked well with the DJ to time all the events for the ceremony. The food was great, I couldn't finish dinner because of how many great appetizers there were.

The wedding package seems a bit expensive (but normal for wedding prices) but I feel like I got a tremendous value from it. One example is the included night at the resort. Near the end of the night I was feeling pretty tired and realized that I really didn't feel like having to move my stuff and drive somewhere. The coordinator came up to me and asked me for permission for the staff to move my gifts up to my room. I didn't even have to move my gifts! Overall I would definitely recommend this place to other couples looking to have a wedding reception.

We had a very small wedding (25 people) and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were excellent, we felt like royalty, the price was fantastic, I highly recommend.

The Spa at Norwich Inn did a WONDERFUL job the day of our wedding and all the days leading up to it! Michele was very responsive with emails and questions, I never waited more than a day for her response! Everyone was super professional and it was amazing to be able to get all the services "in house." I had my hair and make-up done by Spa staff and it was nice to be able to do everything in one location. The wedding itself was amazing. All my guests couldn't stop saying what a great time they had!

This venue was perfect for our wedding. The food was amazing, the room was beautiful, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend having a Wedding here!

Our experience with the Norwich inn and spa was incredible. Michelle and her team made the entire day perfect, also the amenities that come with the wedding package are awesome. The garden suite is beautiful and the couple's massage the morning after was wonderful!

The Spa at Norwich Inn accommodated my wedding and it was fantastic. Michele and her staff did such an amazing job. They were all so friendly and professional and made sure every detail was perfect. Everyone at my wedding RAVED about the delicious food - and the portion sizes were impressive!!! We loved the use of the garden suite for overnight accommodations as part of our wedding package, and it even included a couples massage that was the perfect end to our event. Many of my guests said it was one of the best weddings they have every been to, and I couldn't have been more pleased!!

Michele did such an amazing job bringing all of my ideas for our wedding together! It was such an amazing day. It couldn't of been pulled off any better. Thank you!

We were married at The Spa at Norwich Inn on May 13,2017. From our first contact with Michele the wedding planner, to the last dance the night of our wedding we were blown away with their superior top notch service! The Inn itself has undergone an outstanding renovation to the lobby, ballroom and galleries. The new decor has so much charm and sophistication. The ballroom itself has A beautiful color pallet and stunning crystal chandeliers.
The food was outstanding, and our guests raved about it for weeks after the wedding. Some of our guests required both vegetarian and vegan dishes that they said were delicious. The cake....let's talk about that for a minute....created by Pastry Fusions, the Inn's contracted bakery, was outrageous - chocolate devastation was its name! The waitstaff was impeccable. Jen, our personal professional waitstaff was there for any request we had throughout the evening.
The bridal suite was so pretty and very roomy and comfortable. At the end of the night the staff delivered all of our gifts to our suite and left us a beautiful trail of rose petals and a heart on the bed of rose petals with a delicious dish of chocolate covered strawberries! What a nice surprise that was! Overall every staff member from the doorman to our wedding planner Michele created a dreamy, lovely wedding day for us to always remember.

We had our rehearsal dinner and our wedding her. So glad bc after much research with other venues, this was within our budget and the best value for the package we chos, but also we were happy with everything. Michele Strobel the event coordinator and all the staff were courteous and professional. I was picky about the details and Michele exhibited patience and accommodated my wishes and assured me that's what they're there for, so i didn't have to worry or feel bad for asking for things. the staff executed everything seamlessly for rehearsal, ceremony and reception.. The front desk, room service, banquet and bell staff went out of their way to please us and be courteous and friendly throughout our stay. My brother's family stayed in a villa and loved it. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before the wedding and so glad i indulged.. I slept like a rock in The bed..i miss it;) .. The girls got all ready the next day and we had 2 bathrooms Phew! :). The flow of things throughout the day and night was perfect, we stayed on schedule, Michele made sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a life saver with bustling my dress. the grounds were lovely for the ceremony and photos, the staff transferred the ceremony arch to inside, gave my hot flashing bridesmaid an ice pack while she waited for photos, and staff followed us with drinks and hors d'oeuvres while outside with the photog. At the reception the ballroom looked beautiful beyond our dreams. the night of the wedding we had great food, service and the staff left us goodies in the room. Many guests complimented, and my bridesmaid who said she's been to at least 100 weddings mainly in NY..ours was the best.. Great to hear, and i can say i highly recommend too. Thank you Norwich inn.

We were looking for a boutique hotel that was casually elegant. The Spa at Norwich Inn fully delivered. They only booked one wedding per day so we had full run of the resort: courtyard, a room for our cocktail hour and the ballroom for the reception. Many of our guests had positive comments on the accommodations, food, spa and service. At least two couples have since booked weekends away there (it is also very near one of the casinos). As a bride I liked that I could book hair, makeup, facial, mani-pedi all right through the inn. The bridal suite was beautiful. However the service from planning through departure was what set them apart. As you'll see in other reviews we had full confidence in Michelle the wedding planner (which says a lot since both my husband and I plan events as a part of our jobs). Due to rain we had to move the ceremony inside at the last minute. I don't know how that crew turned the room around that quickly but some of our guests never even knew plans had changed. The same catering asst manager who served us at our tasting worked our event. It seemed like anything we needed someone was already there. when we would pass through the lobby the desk staff knew who we were and asked about our day (such as how was golf - the municipal course is just down the road) After the wedding we returned to our suite to find sandwiches all set up for us. I found the cost of the package reasonable compared to other venues. More importantly I never felt like they wanted to nickel and dime us. There weren't any surprise costs even when they could have - for example we ordered chair sashes elsewhere and the staff put them on for us.

In August, my husband and I got married at the Spa, and we could not have been happier! The venue offered everything we were looking for - outdoor space with an indoor space in case of rain (which thankfully was not needed!), good food, rooms for family and guests, on-site activities for guests, a great rehearsal dinner space, menu and decor flexibility, really, everything we could have wanted we were able to tailor to us while also having someone there in Michele who was able to help us coordinate everything we needed to! Our wedding went off without a hitch and every detail that could have been a potential problem was dealt with! Michele was always willing and able to answer all of our last minute and last second concerns and questions, and all of our vendors left complimenting the Spa on a job well done.

Absolutely amazing venue for our wedding ceremony, rehearsal and venue! Michele Strobel took care of everything once we got there - I did not have to lift a finger! They worked with us to put together a perfect menu and setup for our wedding. Expensive - but well worth it!

Had the most amazing small wedding here this past weekend. Michelle Strobel was amazing and answered all my questions quickly. The planning was so easy, the rooms were beautiful and the food was outstanding. We had the Garden Suite and when we came in after our reception, there was champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and rose petals. It was the most special day of my life. I would highly recommend the Spa at Norwich Inn.

Michele at the Norwich Inn did a wonderful job making our daughter's wedding day positively beautiful! Every detail last detail was absolutely perfect! As always at the Inn, the food was delicious! The staff was so attentive the day of the wedding all guests felt very well taken care of. As did the bride and groom when they stayed overnight in the bridal suite and had their massages the next day!

Michele is absolutely wonderful to work with; she is organized and on top of her game. The rest of the staff on the night of our wedding was a dream. The bartenders and waitstaff were wonderful, they brought us hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we bustled the dress and while we made the rounds at cocktail hour. They also brought us and any guests who were out on the patio drinks. The staff brought all our decorations and gifts back up to the room and when we arrived after the wedding, we were welcomed by rose petals and strawberries. It was very romantic. I highly recommend the spa as well, as they did my makeup and Elle did a wonderful job. You will not regret having your wedding here!

My husband surprised me for our 25th anniversary. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The spa & inn are equally beautiful and is the perfect place for a wedding. We had a private ceremony under a tree and took pictures in different areas of the grounds. We stayed over nite before the ceremony and had an amazing time. We had treatments, took classes, had dinner & breakfast and the staff in all areas of the spa & inn were amazing. I would highly recommend this for any size wedding. The wedding coordinator recommended Betty Allard to officiate our ceremony, and she did a beautiful ceremony

The Norwich Inn & Spa was an amazing place to have a wedding! My husband and I loved the all inclusive nature of the destination and the one stop shopping. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are incredibly attentive, making sure the bride and groom never wanted for anything the whole day. The food was wonderful and our guests all had a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend this location for anyone's wedding!

My husband and I planned our wedding from 3,000 miles away and The Spa at Norwich Inn was beyond accommodating. Michele Strobel, the wedding manager, was the personification of professionalism. She guided us through the whole process, responded to all our questions immediately, and was very flexible with a few last minute changes we had. The value is outstanding. We would have paid twice as much with booking the venue and hiring a caterer had we gone any other route. Their packages are an excellent deal. The food was fabulous, the venue was gorgeous, and all of our guests had a blast!

I was married at the Spa at Noriwch Inn in an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception during the busiest weekend for weddings at their location, October, peak leaf season. Even though our wedding and reception was small, 37 people, and there were 5 other weddings that same weekend, they made me feel like I was their highest priority and that they would do anything to make sure my wedding was the wedding of my dreams. And it was! The location was fabulous. All of my guests commented about how wonderful the property was, the location, and the staff. The outside location by the reflecting pond is gorgeous! And there are tons of rooms inside for receptions of all sizes and shapes. I had an amazing time and much of it had to do with the location. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were married on 9/21/13 at the Spa at Norwich Inn with 84 guests attending. We had the rehearsal dinner, outside ceremony, reception and breakfast the next morning on site. This was a destination wedding of sorts so many guests stayed at the Inn. Our experience was Wonderful! Let me first say that Event Coordinator, Michele Strobel is AWESOME! She is super responsive to phone and email which I really appreciate. She had wonderful ideas and no does not seem to be in her vocabulary. She has an easy going positive energy and was a joy to deal with which made my life as the bride, very easy. She took care of absolutely Everything the day of the wedding and it went very smoothly. She is a pro at this!
The food at the Inn was wonderful and a big reason that we selected this venue. Filet Mignon was devine! Our guests are raving about the quality of the food and service of the staff. Everyone there knew how to do their job and they all did it Very well! The Inn is a beautiful location and the rooms were very nice. We were impressed and happy with every aspect of the Spa at Norwich Inn. We liked that we were the only wedding held that day so we had use of all the grounds. And the price of the package we selected was more than fair for the value we received. We highly recommend this location!!

Michele Strobal the event planner at the spa was always available and patient with emails and questions. We are so appreciative of her walking us through the steps every bit of the way. The waitstaff and banquet servers/ captains were amazing. Jen our personal server was super attentive and efficient. Maria the banquet captain was creative and helpful with directing everybody to where they needed to be. The stress was unnecessary because we were in good hands. I would tell future couples to relax and not worry about the small details because they will guide you in the right direction. The reception was set beautifully and the dinner and all our food was top grade- 5 star quality. The Spa at Norwich Inn was a perfect setting for our perfect day.

The spa was amazing i would so go back there what an elegant place for our wedding and the staff was awesome and very attentive to our guest and us needs.

The Spa was an incredible setting for our wedding. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful - everything was green and in bloom in late May. The honeymoon suite was the perfect setting for those pre-wedding bridal prep pictures. The Spa was willing to wait until the day of the actual wedding to decide whether we had the wedding in or outdoors, unlike many other venues that seem to want to make that call based on a weather report. (Even if it had rained, they have a lovely indoor room that would have been perfectly fine to hold a ceremony in.) My husband and I have received rave reviews of the food, and for the actual reception, they assigned a waitress just to us so that we could still eat the food while socializing and dancing. (Without my asking for it, they also assigned someone to help out my disabled mom. I can't tell you how much that meant to me.)

Jill Fahey is their wedding coordinator, and she is amazing. She came in on a day off just for our pre-wedding tasting. She coordinated everything, including things I didn't even think of, so that our wedding went off smoothly and beautifully. At the end of our daytime reception, we went back to our room, exhausted - only to find an unexpected chicken caesar wrap and mineral water on the table (in addition to the chocolate strawberries, rose petals & prosecco that were expected in the package.) They'd also taken all the decorations from our reception and put a few tastefully around the suite, making it even prettier and more special. The next morning, we had our couples massage (also in the package) and ate lunch at Ascot's Pub. The waiters were happy to cut up the top layer of our wedding cake to share with our lunch guests, too.

Overall, it was a fabulous experience for my husband and me. I would highly recommend the Spa.

I can't say enough good things about the Spa at Norwich Inn!

The staff is professional, the surroundings are beautiful and classy, and you can't beat the price for not having to worry about details!

Every staff person I encountered was polite, knowledgeable, and interaction was effortless.

I was raving about the venue before my wedding and I will continue to do so after as well!

This was the best place for a warm and welcoming New England wedding. We did not have to worry about anything. Jill Fahey went above and beyond our expectations. She is direct and genuine while at the same time she listened to what we both wanted.

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the Norwich Inn. All of the food and service was on par with with you would get if you went to their award winning restaruant. Our guests continue to rave about the food (maple glazed salmon was the favorite and the prime rib was huge).

Afterwards, we had the garden suite for the wedding night. Rose petals were scattered from the door to the bed, champagne was on ice, and a tray of chocolate covered strawberries awaited our arrival. Knowing that the bride and groom do not get much time to eat during the reception, the also gave us tasty wraps, chips and bottled water.

The next morning, we took time to enjoy the spa with our couples massages.

Fantastic venue. If I could do it all over again, I would not change a thing.

The Spa at Norwich Inn was a dream location. Everyone involved with my big day went above and beyond in every way. I didn’t have to lift a finger the entire day and they made by day seamless! The food was beyond fabulous and we still have guests talking about it. The ambience and service is worth every penny!

The Spa of Norwich Inn did an exceptional job hosting our wedding recepetion on 6/12/09. From the first steps of planning to the morning after the wedding our entire family and ourselves were treated like royality. The staff were calm and organized, the food was flavorful and scrumptous (my husband is a chef a Mohegan Sun and he thought the food was the best part). The venue itself was breathtaking; with white linen and green napkins the spa matched our color scheme perfectly. We will be recommending the Spa to everyone we see. With Weddings being financially stressful to begin with the Spa of Norwich Inn has made our little bit of money go a long way. The Spa turned our reception into the most glamorous event we have ever experienced. Thank You and Kudos to the Spa of Norwich Inn!!!

Michele was wonderful to work with while planning our wedding. She bent over backwards to make our day elegant, unique and enjoyable. At The Spa, little details are attended to for every facet of the occasion, which I appreciated. Michele took calls, emails, and in-person visits always with a smile and very responsively. She had terrific suggestions for saving money. For example, I wanted egg nog and hot chocolate to be served as guests entered, and she saved us money by suggesting we have it served butler style, so we paid only on consumption. All the food was phenomenal and the venue was gorgeous. The pastry chef worked with me to make a unique and elegant (as well as delicious chocolate) cake. Bert (the banquet manager) and Michele oversaw the production to ensure perfection - even helping me with a wardrobe issue moments before the ceremony. They are true professionals who give such great personal service you feel like you've always known them. I highly recommend The Spa to any bride!

This place is beautiful! Jill Fahey was AMAZING! The entire staff was very friendly, accepting, and attentive. Erica at Kennsington's was GREAT as well! We would recommend this venue for any event.

Jill the wedding coordinator at the Norwich Inn is great! She was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had throughout the entire planning process. Leading up to our event we had no problems at all with the staff at the Norwich Inn. We wanted to make a few changes to the standard wedding package that we chose and they were very accomodating and easy to work with.

On our wedding day there were a few minor issues, including one rude staff member and a dirty high chair (which was quickly resolved when brought to the attention of the banquet manager) but otherwise everything went very smoothly and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

For our wedding night we were given the Garden Suite as part of our package, which included an overnight stay in a regular room rather than a suite, and it was wonderful. When we got back to our room there were delicious sandwiches waiting for us as well as champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and rose petals from the door to the bed. It was very romantic and a very nice touch.

I would recommend the Norwich Inn and Spa to anyone looking to have a beautiful, easy wedding where everything is included in one main price.

The norwich inn and spa is absolutely beautiful and an amazing place to have a.wedding. The only negative comment I have is that our ballroom was hot..even with the air conditioner running. Also...the appetizer that we chose was slightly different than the one we agreed on.

Having so many things taken care of by the spa was amazing! The only thing I was annoyed with was the barista telling me I had to ask my waitress if I could have the drink I wanted. I was slightly perturbed that she would say that when I was quite obviously the bride. Other than that very small issue, the staff was so friendly and helpful!! I would definetly recommend thus venue.

Poor management. We were promised the pool will be ready on our wedding day, however we were told 6 hours prior to our wedding that the pool was empty and won't be ready for our ceremony. Even though they fixed it on time and we got to enjoy the pool during our ceremony, but the stress is not something a bride suppose to deal with.
Building needs renovation. The bath tub in our room was stuffed.

Unorganized, TONS of errors on rooms and TONS more at my event, clientele is rude and uncouth. Rooms have plumbing issues, and some (not all) staff are unprofessional. Valet parking did not happen, though promised. Bell boys do not help with luggage. Some staff treat you like a burden.

Plus side - food is excellent, ALL dining staff are professional and polite, spa was very clean. Hairdressers are talented and so are makeup artists (Jill and Krisha, especially!) Grounds are pretty too.

WOULD NOT recommend for an important event. While my event wasn't a total disaster, I regret using The Inn. Please pay attention to the negative reviews (I did not). The poor reviews don't lie. My review is actually generous. Do not be fooled.
