We had our summer wedding at Forest Lodge’s Maple Grove — an outdoor ceremony and reception with over 200 guests — and it was absolute perfection. Every single person told us it was one of the most beautiful and seamless weddings they had ever attended. From the moment guests arrived, they were blown away by the setting. Maple Grove feels like a hidden oasis: towering trees, natural beauty everywhere, and an elegant pavilion and tented area that makes the entire space feel elevated and magical. Even though rain was in the forecast, we never once stressed — the pavilion is so large and well-designed that Forest Lodge can handle weather without sacrificing a single moment of your day. Luckily, we ended up with a gorgeous sunny day, but knowing we were covered gave us so much peace of mind. The food was a home run — truly next-level wedding catering. We chose to do buffet style for the entire night and our guests are still talking about it. The filet mignon, the Asian stir-fry station, the chicken sliders, the dates wrapped in bacon — everything was customizable, perfectly prepared, and delivered exactly the way we envisioned. My grandfather even said it was the best filet mignon he has had in his entire life, and he is not easy to impress. Their chef absolutely nailed every single dish. The staff deserves its own 5-star review. Our bridal attendant, Charlotte, was beyond amazing — truly the best any of us have ever seen. She anticipated every need before we even said it out loud. Our entire wedding party couldn’t stop talking about her. And then there’s Anthony and Maria — absolute rock stars. They ran the entire day like a flawless production. From ceremony coordination to first dance timing to dinner flow, everything moved like a well-oiled machine. With the number of staff working, no one ever had to look far for help. The level of professionalism and attentiveness at Forest Lodge is unmatched. On top of all this, Forest Lodge is an incredible value. For an outdoor, 200+ person New Jersey wedding with a fully customized menu, the pricing was extremely reasonable — especially compared to the overpriced country clubs we toured. Forest Lodge delivered that perfect blend of rustic charm, woodsy romance, old-fashioned beauty, and upscale elegance that we couldn’t find anywhere else. If you want a wedding that feels breathtaking, effortless, and unforgettable — Forest Lodge is the place. It was everything we hoped for and more. -

Our decision to have our wedding at Forest Lodge’s Sherwood Chalet was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From start to finish, I was so happy with every detail of our special day.
Our outdoor ceremony on the patio under the gazebo was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for our September wedding. The staff was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring with every detail, making sure everything ran smoothly and stress free. Anthony and Maria truly made our vision come to life and went above and beyond to make the day feel so special.
The food was absolutely delicious, with so many amazing options for our guests to enjoy. We received countless compliments from family and friends about both the service and the atmosphere.
We are so grateful to the entire team at Forest Lodge for giving us the wedding of our dreams. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful location with exceptional service!

From the moment we arrived at Forest Lodge we knew this was our wedding venue! Working with Forest Lodge was the best decision we made. They were so communicative and helpful and made everything stress-free. The grounds are beautiful and were so perfect for our fall wedding. We got compliments on the service, food, and drinks all night!! Anthony was the best to work with and Charlotte was our bridal attendant and made everything run so perfect and smoothly that day! You cannot go wrong at all with a wedding/event at Forest Lodge!! -

Awesome venue and staff
We got married at the Forest Lodge on May 11, 2024. We were looking for a wedding venue with a couple of months lead time that would let us hold our small wedding of 50 guests in an exclusive event space. When we reached out to the Forest Lodge, Anthony let us know that they had available dates and would let us book the venue for our wedding with a minimum spend which was reasonable to us.
We booked the venue after visiting and speaking with Anthony who laid out all of the details regarding the wedding. He was extremely helpful and communicative during the planning process even when we had a number of questions throughout the weeks.
Anthony and the staff set up our decorations inside the Sherwood Chalet ballroom and ceremony site exactly as we wanted. We gave them the decorations and pictures for how we wanted things set up and they executed what we wanted even better than we wanted.
On the day of the wedding, the staff were all extremely helpful as we got ready. My wife and I were each able to get ready in our own bridal suites as there was no other wedding in the Maple Grove outdoor venue that evening. (As an aside, although we were initially worried about having another wedding at the venue the same evening as ours in our initial consideration of the Forest Lodge, the outdoor Maple Grove venue is very well separated from the indoor Sherwood Chalet).
The Sherwood Chalet is an intimate indoor space that was perfect for our wedding of 50 guests. The decor was classy, with a neutral beige carpet in the ballroom and a wooden bar area. The ceremony area is just outside in a beautiful private garden, with a fire pit and surrounded by a backdrop of tall trees. The path and gazebo were also beautiful.
Our bridal assistant Charlotte was an angel. She helped both me and my wife with everything from our preparations (putting on the wedding dress, the veil, flowers, etc.), all the way through the evening with anything that we needed or wanted. She helped fixing and setting the wedding dress during our wedding portraits, got us food and drinks throughout the night, and she even pinned up the dress when the button for the train broke. We honestly can't speak highly enough of how amazing she was the entire evening.
Our maitre d' Maria was also extremely helpful, first with the actual wedding ceremony and evening in general but also with my wife's family who flew in from Italy and doesn't speak English. She was just as attentive to my wife's family as our bridal assistant was to me and my wife, and my wife's family spoke very highly of the maitre d'. She was also available for us at any time in case we needed anything.
The Forest Lodge staff timed everything perfectly with our DJ and photographer during the entire evening, especially during the ceremony. When I and later my wife entered the ceremony with our wedding parties and families, we knew that everything was perfect and we had nothing to worry about. This continued throughout the evening from the cocktail hour to the reception, through dinner and the end of the wedding.
We had the opportunity to attend a tasting event prior to the wedding to help choose our menu which sampled all parts of the menu from the charcuterie table to appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The Forest Lodge also works directly with Sweet Passion Cakery so the wedding cake was included and we also had a tasting of cake samples during this tasting event. Being able to speak with Lauren from the cakery and discuss details and personalizations was also very helpful to us. We chose a vanilla cake with salted caramel filling and everyone raved about how amazing it was.
As for the rest of the food during our wedding, it was unbelievable. Everything that we ate was amazing and our guests still talk about how amazing the food was at our wedding. We would highly recommend anyone to choose the filet mignon for your entree, and both the bacon wrapped apples and scallops were crowd favorites during cocktail hour.
All in all, we could not be happier about our choice to have our wedding at the Forest Lodge. We had no issues at all and everything was done even better than we could have imagined. Anthony and the rest of the staff are true professionals and very easy to work with. Our wedding was perfect and awesome due largely in part to the Forest Lodge and we highly recommend the venue to anyone. -

I would 110% recommend The Forest Lodge for any event! My wedding was in August of 2023 and it was a day I will always cherish. The venue itself is beautiful, and everyone who works there is so pleasant to work with. I was an out of state bride, and even though I was a few hours away, they made everything so easy. I wanted to wait until I had my photos back before posting a review because words don’t do justice to the wonderfullness that is The Forest Lodge. Anthony and Joe helped the day go without a hitch and the bridal assistant Charlotte was hands down THE BEST! The Forest Lodge will always hold a special place in my heart for being so great on one of the best days 🤍 -

Perfect Fairytale Forest venue!
I had my wedding at the Forest lodge in their Maple Grove outdoor area for my 200+ guests. It was the perfect combination of fairytale forest with laid back yet classy vibes! Joe and Anthony were both so responsive and accommodating throughout our planning and Joe did such a phenomenal job the day of. Corey and I appreciated everything Joe and the team of bridal attendants did that day, especially when I was feeling a little anxious about the weather. Spoiler alert: it turned out to be gorgeous by ceremony time! When our shuttle was running late from the hotel, Joe assured me that even if we had to start a little late, the wedding will not be cut short. I was so relieved! I will be forever grateful for the Forest Lodge staff for making it the best day of our lives! -

We decided to have a large anniversary celebration exactly one year after our private, intimate ceremony and Forest Lodge was the perfect place for us. With its beautiful outdoor setting, delicious food, and outstanding service, we couldn’t have been happier with our event. Anthony Panchery and his team were super accommodating, and patient thought the entire process, and answered my million (borderline annoying) questions each step of the way. I am so thankful for Anthony, Joe, and Kelly for making our night truly one to remember, and cannot sing the praises of Forest Lodge enough. Words cannot describe how grateful I am that I chose to book my wedding at the Forest Lodge. I couldn't imagine my wedding being anywhere else. Anthony and Sean answered all my questions throughout the planning process and made sure that everything was going to be perfect on the day of the wedding, and it truly was perfect. Kelly and Joe made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. They always reassured me of what was going to happen next and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole event. Julia was my bridal attendant and she couldn't have been more amazing. She continuously checked up on me, making sure that I was drinking water and had something to eat. They set up all of my decorations and they made my vision come to life. They took down the decorations as well and packed them up, so all I had to do was pick them up. So easy! On the day of the wedding they were so organized and everything flowed so beautifully. Everyone I talked to raved about how amazing the staff was, how great the food tasted, and how beautiful the venue was. The Forest Lodge and the staff there will always hold a special place in my heart because they made my dreams come true.

Having our wedding at Forest Lodge was an absolute DREAM! They made us feel so special, the staff is a dream to work with, they answered every email, phone call and text. Every question I had no matter how many times I asked it. The grounds and landscaping made for beautiful pictures, the bridal suit was spacious and well stocked with drinks and snack. Sean and Desiree were so kind, helpful, attentive from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Everything was taken care of for us and I definitely felt like a guest at our wedding. If you're looking for a beautiful wedding venue with the most amazing staff I Highly recommend Forest Lodge, and definitely ask for Sean and Desiree! -

The perfect venue!
I cannot say enough about the professionalism and attention to detail the staff at Forest Lodge provided. We worked with Sean throughout the planning process, he answered all of my (many) questions with patience, understanding, and attention. He never made us feel rushed or pressured and I knew he had everything under control. Our wedding day was more perfect than I ever could have imagined, all thanks to the Forest Lodge staff! We went with the buffet option and the food was incredible. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to get married! -

I give my absolute highest recommendation to Forest Lodge. My husband and I got married at Sherwood Chalet in April 2022 and it was an amazingly, wonderful experience from start to finish. Anthony and Sean helped us every step of the way and were available to any questions or concerns that we had. The ceremony and reception was spectacular and everyone working was so pleasant and attentive. Anthony was the maitre d the day of the wedding and made sure we were able to enjoy the cocktail hour and the reception. Charlotte was the bridal attendant and did a fantastic job with helping with my dress and making sure I had everything I needed. The food was fantastic and they even packed up food for us to enjoy after the wedding. We wish we remembered every single staff members names so we could personally thank them because everyone was truly so wonderful. My husband and I got married at Forest Lodge on 7/10/2021. Ceremony was outside and we had the reception under Maple Grove. We started out with Linda who left. It was a little nerve wracking less than 6 months before your wedding but they made it work. We then had Anthony and then Sean. Sean was the man! He was very responsive and kept his word. The day of the wedding was beyond incredible. If anything went wrong we still don't know about it. Sean kept the whole day running smoothly. They had a plate of hor d' erves in the bridal suite for us at the end of cocktail hour. We ended up running later into the night because we forgot to tell the dj we were ending at 10 not 10:30. Sean said no problem. Maple Grove was soooo beautiful, we had lawn games set up, which was such a big hit! From the sweetest bridal attendant, to the wait staff, everyone was friendly and amazing. All our guests raved about the staff, the beautiful venue, and the wonderful food. You always dream of your wedding day, I can honestly, Forest Lodge exceeded both my husband and my expectations. I sorta wish I could have another wedding there again. We recommend Forest lodge to everyone! -

10 star rating!!! I can’t rave about this venue enough!!! I got married at the Forest Lodge on 9/18/21 in the Sherwood Chalet room and everything exceeded all our expectations! The food is amazing and the service was on point! The whole staff (especially Anthony, Sean, and was so nice and very attentive, making sure my husband, myself, our bridal party, and parents were taking very well care of! The venue space (inside and outside) is so beautiful as is and didn’t need much decor to bring my vision to life.
Anthony was our main point of contact throughout the planning process and also our maître d’ the day of and all I can say is WOW!!!!! Make sure you ask for him for your big day. I had specific requests (and may have been a pain a time or two when planning ha!) but he made everything happen and gave us exactly what we wanted. The day wouldn’t have been so perfect without all his help. The day of he was on point with the whole timeline and never missed a beat! He also never let us have an empty drink in our hand. Even my father was so impressed that every time his beer got low, he turned around and Anthony was there with a fresh one! Immediately after the ceremony also he had drinks waiting for us and a whole tray of our cocktail foods just for us and made sure we ate and enjoyed our food! Now that’s great service!!
I highly recommend the Forest Lodge for your wedding (or any big event). You will not be disappointed!
I only got a couple photos back from the photographer so far so the rest of the pictures are what others took, but wanted to show just how beautiful the venue space is and peep Anthony about to make sure my train and veil are perfect for my walk down the aisle! -

I can not even begin to thank this entire staff enough for how awesome they were the entire planning and day of. I am very much type A and emailed them with the dumbest questions and met with them multiple times and they were so nice and understanding and had no problem answering me quickly. The day of women were god sent. They were soooooo attentive and even danced with guests! When I couldn’t find my party to help bustle my dress they were right there and did it for me! Everything was amazing. The food was outstanding and they even boxed up our dinner in case we weren’t able to eat. The staff was so great with all the guests and making sure everyone had a drink in their hand and made the night one of the best nights we ever had. They are truly professionals and you can tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs. -

I just attended my sister‘s wedding last night at this venue and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is. It is not only a gorgeous venue but the staff is amazing. Our bridal attendant Madison went above and beyond for us the entire day and she was so much fun to work with. Our maître d’ Anthony was also amazing. We had a less than mediocre DJ unfortunately but Anthony was right on top of everything to make sure that announcements for appropriately made and things went smoothly. The wait staff is super friendly and extremely accommodating anything you asked for they immediately jumped up to get. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and staff. On top of how beautiful the venue is and how great the staff is the food was amazing. My sister did a buffet style dinner and everything that was served was excellent! You will not be disappointed if you book at this venue! -

Matthew and I got married on November 21st. We originally had an indoor wedding booked but obviously with the pandemic, this was not feasible. I contacted Linda at The Sherwood Chalet/Forest Lodge and Matthew and I went to see her that weekend. They even had us do the food tasting while waiting for our other venue to release us from our contract. We loved it and moved forward with idea of having our wedding 100% outside in late November. (We were nervous for that AND there being a pandemic) Linda worked with us to come up with a menu to almost match our original menu, she talked me off a ledge every time I was nervous about the pandemic, she'd text and call me to make sure I was relaxed. She made sure that we had enough heaters, because we had no clue how many to get. Our wedding day was PERFECT. (And everyone was warm!) You would've never known we had moved our wedding only months before. Linda and Anthony helped to make our vision a reality. Linda even got us copper mugs to drink our signature drink. Absolutely incredible! Linda worked with us through having to postpone and move our indoor April wedding to an outdoor September wedding. Anthony and Linda truly ensured we were taken care of all night - I felt like a princess! Everything was done on the property - first look, photos, ceremony and reception.
The ceremony and cocktail hour were held in the gazebo/patio area and the reception was in their Maple Grove pavilion. The pavilion provides a hard cover for the reception area, which I liked (versus using a tent). We had approximately 75 guests. Tables were spaced well and everyone felt comfortable. They set up corn hole and tables on the grass area which guests enjoyed. The food was delicious and they even packed us food and dessert to go - leftovers were awesome! The staff were so accommodating. I’ve heard nothing but great things from all my guests! Everything was so beautiful - the perfect romantic, rustic setting. I can’t say enough GREAT things about this vendor. They made the wedding experience from start to finish so great. We planned our wedding from Georgia and it was a great experience. All of the wedding planners, staff, concierge and the site were amazing. Food was great! Facility clean and beautiful! Guest are still talking about the beautiful facility and the amazing food. Words fail me to describe how wonderful our wedding day was at the forest lodge.
Our wedding was 11/01/19 and it was a dream come true!!
We saw the venue for the very first time last winter and met with Abby and VP, Linda. After we booked in the spring we mainly dealt with Scott , the event manager. I can’t say enough about Scott, I had a vision and he brought it to life. Scott stayed late many times to meet with us, he listened, he offered suggestions and called us to double check when he wasn’t sure about something. But most of all, Scott has a very calming effect.
We were very nervous about the weather but we ended up being able to do our ceremony outside as planned. My mom, my daughters and I got ready in the bridal suite, our attendant for the day was Denise. Denise went above and beyond for my family and I and we will forever remember her. My now husband and son hang out at the Sherwood chalet so we didn’t see each other until first look.
We were running behind and Scott came to the rescue and got us back on track.
The food was absolutely amazing!!! Linda stayed with us until we went to be introduced at the reception, she really did not to have to do that but she did! Every single person at the forest lodge was focused on US on our wedding day, we felt so special. The servers and bartenders were attentive and pleasant. Our family is raving about them.
Abby and Jeanette were making sure everything ran smoothly and took care of us all night.
If your looking for a venue that focuses on 1 event at the time, where your event is important and where you will have the best memories book the forest lodge.
My husband and I are still on cloud 9 and will for ever be grateful to the forest lodge for our amazing wedding day!!

I just had my wedding at Forest Lodge on October 13th 2019 and it could not have been more perfect. The venue, service, decor was just perfect. I dealt with the manager at Forest Lodge Scott. Scott made sure we were taken care of from the initial stages and he delivered what he promised "The Disney Service". It is definitely the most beautiful place to get married in NJ. I attended a wedding Friday night and was so impressed by the staff, especially notable were two servers named Victoria and Denise. They were so helpful and provided such excellent service when walking around with the appetizers and then again at the buffet. Victoria was so prompt with any requests we had. Also, Denise had come around with a mushroom appetizer and I said no thank you, I’m allergic to mushrooms. Denise remembered this and remembered me as I approached the buffet a little later. She flagged me down and told me which foods had mushrooms in them. I was so amazed at her thoughtfulness and attention to my needs. I am so thankful for her caring and concern.
Forest Lodge has a great staff and I would recommend this venue to anyone! -

Forest Lodge is truly a hidden gem for your wedding! We were looking for a venue that would not break the bank, but would still feel elegant and unique. Forest lodge met this criteria and provided way more than we ever imagined. The guests enjoyed the greenery, as well as taking pictures by the fire pit and gazebo. The guests also talked highly of the food and cake. Scott, the coordinator, was great from the beginning by working with our requests and always responding quickly to emails and phone calls. The servers and staff members on the night of the wedding were WONDERFUL! My guests are still talking about Tom, who was going around to every single table asking guests what they needed. Tom also ran around to help my husband and I with any of our needs and even helped me bustle my dress! Tom made sure my husband and I received a plate of the hors d'oeuvres in the bridal suite. The night ended with about 80 people doing a sparkler send off. I was nervous that we would pull this off, but somehow the Forest Lodge staff made this happen within minutes and without any issues!
Many of our guests have informed us that this was the best wedding they had been to! We had such an amazing night! Thank you again to everyone at the Lodge for making our day special and memorable for years to come!

Our wedding could not have been more perfect and we owe a lot of that from the staff who were supportive throughout the whole process! Out of all the places we've searched out, Forest Lodge was the most flexible when it came to being open to our ideas on our ceremony and reception. Scott, our event manager, is the kind of guy who is easy to talk to, yet has an attention to detail. Scott made the effort to work with myself, my now wife, and my family on all the details, even though my wife and I live in California with a 3 hour time zone difference.
On the day of the wedding, they did a fantastic job of executing the rain contingency plan with our vendors. In addition, Scott made sure we were comfortable, had a drink in our hand, and were well fed while the party went on. Did I mention the food was amazing? I didn't. It was really good! You won't be disappointed! Forest Lodge is your place, if you're looking for excellence, friendliness, and flexibility. Our family will forever be grateful for what they did for us and we'll always remember this special moment. -

We had our wedding at the Sherwood Chalet at Forest Lodge and if I could give them 10 stars I would, but 5 stars is as high as this goes! From the moment my new husband and I walked into the venue, we knew that it would be the place we wanted to get married. Everything is very clean and well kept. The atmosphere of the venue is rustic and chic, and it has a very cozy feeling. The outdoor ceremony area has a wonderful gazebo and is lined with plants, so it feels very secluded. There is also a fire pit, which all of our guests really enjoyed when they needed a break from the dance floor.
Scott was a pleasure to work with since day one. He answered all of our questions in a timely manner and reassured me when I was panicking. In addition, Scott and his team were very flexible with what we wanted. We had a lot of custom decorations and all they asked for were some instructions. Everything was set up perfectly on the wedding day. He would always tell us what he needed from us in order to keep everything on track. Abby and Thomas were also so helpful and made sure everything went according to schedule the day of. The staff were amazing and all of our guests felt very well taken care of.
The food was also amazing! There was something for everyone, and the catering is very accommodating for those who have food allergies or restrictions. The raspberry brie puffs were so delicious! Since my husband and I decided to do a receiving line during the cocktail hour, we did not get to eat as much, but the staff made sure that there was a sampling plate waiting at our sweetheart table once we sat down.
All in all, Forest Lodge helped all the planning go smoothly, and we honestly can’t think of a single negative thing that happened on the big day. Thank you so much Forest Lodge!Forest Lodge's reply:

We have absolutely nothing bad to say about this venue, and can’t thank them enough for what they did. The whole team we worked with, was so accommodating and the reason we ended up choosing them, is because we felt that they were the most responsive folks we had spoken/met with, and also we were most comfortable with them every time we got together to speak. The requests/questions we threw at them were pretty crazy, and they nailed it all.
During our meetings leading up to the wedding, the team at Forest Lodge was very responsive to our emails and calls, answered all of our questions and ensured that we were thinking about the big picture and things we had overlooked. Clearly they prepared very well because everything was absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail was spectacular. Everyone also kept commenting on the food and service which was awesome. The presentations and placement around the venue made it very easy for every guest to sample anything they wanted. Their quality of food and alcohol was also very good.
We can’t thank them enough, and would recommend them to everyone. We’re already trying to figure out how we can organize another type of gathering there because the outdoor space is beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for us. Thank you!! -

We cannot say enough great things about how excellent the venue manager, Scott, and his staff were for us on our wedding day. Scott and his team covered every single detail and delivered exceptional service to us and our guests. From the very beginning, Scott was so friendly, accommodating, thoughtful, professional, and thorough. He worked with us every single step of the way and made sure he and his team did anything and everything they could to make sure we were happy. The day of the wedding, Scott, his team partner Abby, and his staff were absolutely phenomenal - they were so attentive to us and our guests. They were there the whole day from start to finish and catered to every need... I haven't even mentioned the venue yet! Stunning. beautiful. Simply amazing... it's humble, yet elegant and truly beautiful. It's not overly ornate or over-the-top. The best way to describe it is, it feels like home. Our guests felt welcome from the second they walked into the back area for the ceremony and they would not stop raving about how wonderful the staff's service was... and the food! the food - so, so good! Everything was delicious, and Scott went out of his way to make sure that dinner was served according to our timeline even though it presented tough timing for his team to deliver... but they did deliver! big time. Guest after guest the night of were coming up to us and saying how good the food and service was, and today a few weeks later they're still reaching out and telling us about it! The night of, they made sure my husband and I were well fed and that we had a chance to taste everything they served from the appetizers all the way through to the desserts. We can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else - we will remember how amazing it was for the rest of our lives! Thank you, Scott, Abby, and the whole Forest Lodge team! You made our day perfect. It’s a small intimate space that’s rustic, chic, elegant AND laid back all at once!
The prices are unbelievably affordable for the service you’re receiving. Everybody there has worked so close with me and my future husband to answer our endless questions and to accommodate our specific needs! I’ll write an update after the wedding ;) -

Were we to plan our wedding again, The Forest Lodge would be the first and only venue we'd visit!
By the time my now-husband and I were planning ours, we had already been guests at the weddings of a good number of our family and friends. Attending these weddings informed us of what we wanted ours to feature (outdoor and indoor space; a stations-style meal) and what we wanted to avoid (a sit-down dinner that took most of the reception to serve and consume). The Forest Lodge was the second venue we visited, and after meeting Linda Taylor and touring the grounds, we immediately secured a date. During the planning process, Linda and her team were professional and responsive, and they welcomed and executed our requests for special touches--like kegs of draft beer from craft breweries in the states my husband and I hail from and a place on the lawn for our custom corn hole set--with enthusiasm and precision. The reception unfolded exactly as we hoped it would, and our guests were full of compliments about the quality and variety of food and the fun and casual vibe of the celebration. One friend, who is not gratuitous with compliments, shared that our wedding was the best, aside from her own, that she's ever attended. Were we to plan our wedding again, The Forest Lodge would be the first and only venue we'd visit. -

Genevieve Sent on 09/13/2018A wonderful place! The only thing is I was disappointed to find out that the servers do not take home any of the tip money that is added into the check. They only receive the tips if you give them cash directly. Be sure to do this if you are having an event here to make sure your wonderful servers get paid! -

Scott and Linda were so helpful at achieving our vision and dream wedding. They were super responsive and accommodating. They did whatever they could to make the process easy and smooth. We're actually planning on having my mother's 60th birthday there next year. Thank you Scott & Linda for all your hard work and attention to detail. You helped make our wedding dreams come true!

Melissa Sent on 09/12/2018I just had my wedding at Forest Lodge in the Sherwood Chalet room this past Saturday and everything was PERFECT! We had about 125 guests at our wedding. I want to start out by saying I like the flexibility of Forest Lodge where you could pick a theme and hit the ground running! I liked the laid-back ambiance at Forest Lodge and it is perfect for any event. The staff is professional, accommodating, very responsive and easy to work with! There bar service was on point with two bartenders and my guests raved that they did not have to wait to receive drinks at my open bar wedding. Cocktail hour, dinner service, and dessert all flowed smoothly with their waiting staff. We did a sit-down dinner and the food was delicious! The layout of the room was great. It has smart lighting that could be adjusted to fit any color that one desires. There is also good size dance floor too! The outdoor space was beautiful with a good size patio for guests to mingle, a white beautifully decorated white gazebo for pictures and a fire pit where one can relax! -

Carol Sent on 09/01/2018Our 50th anniversary celebration on August 25, 2018 was fantastic at the Sherwood Chalet. Guests raved about the indoor/outdoor venue, the sumptuous food, and the meticulous attention the staff gave to everyone. Linda and Scott brought our vision to life along with their recommended DJ. Our family and friends from across the country wanted to know how I found this wonderful place. Over 50 years we have hosted many affairs but this one was by far the best! The staff anticipated every detail. We explored other places and the value at Forest Lodge is terrific. Our sincere thank you to the entire staff and strongly recommend Forest Lodge for a highly professional but very personal, special and fun event.
