    Wow factor!

Being in the Rookery is a special experience - seeing the grandeur of the architecture, glass ceiling, staircase, and gold & marble detail will wow your guests! We absolutely loved our wedding in the Rookery - it was exactly what we were looking for - something elegant and beautiful, but unique. Our wedding was in the winter, so the darkness level was perfect. We had 118 people and thought that was a great size for the venue. Anything over 150 may start to get a bit cramped. Keep in mind if you want to do draping over the storefronts, it can be quite expensive as there's only one vendor that does that - make sure you price that out when evaluating venue cost! Also - having Jewell catering as the caterer for the venue was excellent, it made for a seamless experience.

    Stunning Venue!

A beautiful atmosphere that was the perfect size for 100 guests. Jewell Events did an amazing job with catering and coordination/Art of imagination did a wonderful job with the design. It’s a perfect romantic, classic, chicago venue! Could not have been happier!

It's been very easy to work with Jewell Catering at the Rookery building so far. The Rookery is absolutely beautiful although renting the venue is a little pricey. Well worth the price!

This was an AMAZING venue and fantastic backdrop for the ceremony and reception. I can't say enough about how beautiful the space turned out. The cost to rent the venue was a bit pricey and since it is a historic site there were challenges with set up and breakdown of the venue. Lastly - it stays pretty well lit throughout the evening so if your choosing this venue consider that everyone will be dancing in a well lit setting - changing the mood a bit.

Regardless of the slight challenges I would still highly recommend the space as it can't be beat for WOW factor!

The Rookery was the perfect venue for the modern/elegant wedding I had envisioned. We had both the ceremony and reception at the venue - it was a perfect size for our 150 guests. They say you can have up to 200, but personally, I think that would be cramped. I'd say max is like 175. We draped the downstairs through Art of Imagination and it just looked absolutely gorgeous. I will say, that because its a public space - during our ceremony some pedestrians came in and we're talking behind our draping - none of our guests saw or heard them, but my husband and I did, and it was a little distracting for all of 30 seconds.
