  Beyond expectations

  The Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove exceeded any expectations we might have had. From the time we booked the venue to when we checked out of the hotel each and every detail was perfect! Food, ceremony, staff - you name it they delivered! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our entire experience. Veronica in sales was beyond knowledgeable, friendly and truly came through with everything she committed too. Diana, our event coordinator was a saint - always available, friendly and made everything run beautifully! I cannot wait to have another affair at this hotel - they made all our daughters wedding dreams come true. I know have friends in both Veronica and Diana

  We will be having our daughters wedding here in ‘19 and if how incredibly wonderful Veronica and the staff have been up to this point is any indication - I can only imagine what an extraordinary beautiful wedding we will have next year!

  Everything about The Ritz is amazing! The food at my wedding reception was impeccable. The chef came out at the end of the night to make sure everything was ok. Kiki and Evan are amazing and a great asset to the company. Everything from start to finish was perfect. The perfect ending was returning to my suite with my husband to a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a note from Kiki congratulating us.

  Impeccable service and incredible coordinators. The two Coordinators I worked with - Monica and Kiki, were more like friends than coordinators. They went ABOVE and BEYOND their job titles to make sure I had everything I needed. From advice on vendors to support when I was incredibly stressed, I felt like I had someone there the entire step of the way.
  
  The food was amazing. In fact, I had a couple of people tell me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We served steak to 150 people. How the Ritz was able to cook them up to perfection and all warm for all my guest at the same time, is beyond me, but I am thankful.
  
  I had both my ceremony and reception at the space, and because they only have one wedding at a time, I had the entire hotel staff helping make the event unforgettable. My guest spent the day at the pool before the ceremony, and the intimate space made for a great gathering of all our friends.
  
  I really could go on and on, but I dont want anyone to stop reading so I will end with this...I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Really, I can't.

  We are so happy we selected this venue for our wedding. We did ceremony, cocktail hour, reception & a separate after party in a different part of the hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful & the service is impeccable, words are not enough to describe how wonderful everything was from start to finish. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Extremely attentive service & lots of attention to detail.

  EXCELLENT service. Only one wedding at a time so you feel all the staff is there just for you. The event staff -Kiki, Maria, Evan, Paris - Mitch - John at the front desk - Concierge Ashley -the bellmen ( thank goodness for the bellmen) Randy and Vladimir, Ruddy, Jovan and Ocee - and others - Juan, Yolanda and so many more! They were fantastic, helpful, happy people who made our week a memory to cherish. The venue is beautiful and intimate and for the guests entertainment a short walk to CocoWalk. Perfectly perfect! I only wish I could remember everyone's name to list! They are a family and made us part of that family for a few wonderful days.

  While we had over 13 vendors for our wedding, no one impressed us more than the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove. From the event coordinators and head chef to the servers and bellhops, everyone was highly professional and impressively cordial. Leading up to the event, I had arranged several meetings with the planners Diana Montes and Monica Ciffoni, where we discussed all the important matters: the menu, the table arrangements, the timeline, the vendors, etc. They were extremely accommodating, excellent to work with, and attentive. They worked very hard to ensure that our event turned out as spectacular as it did, fulfilling all of our wishes to the last detail. We were also able to have a preliminary tasting of the meal we had selected. Here, we met all the chefs, who were also very warm. They served us a braised short rib, which was the talk of the reception, and gave us to try several intermezzo sorbets as well as a tray of exquisite mini desserts. The day of the event, the coordinators took us to a private preparation room on the 7 th floor, where they served us chocolate covered strawberries and macaroons as we dressed. When my husband and I returned from the ceremony, we were taken to an anteroom, where we were served hors d'oeuvres and cocktails before entering the reception. Another very nice coordinator Evan took us into the reception room before anyone else was allowed to enter to see how beautiful everything came out. They were even there for the duration of the reception, ensuring we were well taken care of. And the ballroom was decorated to perfection! Absolutely phenomenal service! Could not have chosen another venue!!!!!

  The Ritz Carlton knows how to put on an event. They truly are the best. Jeysa Plana, the coordinator, is absolutely amazing. I loved how everything came out. She insisted I didn’t need a DOC/planner and she was dead-on. (Sometimes they say that because they don’t want someone else interfering with their responsibility, but in this case was true.) Jeysa and I actually became more friendly, and she knows everything and was always an email/phone call away to answer my million questions.
  The food was delicious and the presentation of the food was unreal. I didn’t try any appetizers at the cocktail hour, but everyone said they were phenomenal. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the salad did not have enough dressing, like it had during the tasting. I got ready at the hotel and the staff catered to us all day long. They brought me a care package with extra towels, alka selzer, band-aids, etc. They also brought a steamer for my dress. The service is incredible, but that's exactly what I expected. At the end of the night, they wrapped up my cake top tier and cake brooch and delivered it to us. They also delievered all of our other items such as the cake knife, wishing tree tags, and tag numbers. These people know how to host an impressive event.

  Good but there were hiccups

  The venue is to die for, very beautiful but I had hiccups with this venue. The staff changed 3 times throughout my wedding planning which made the planning a bit difficult to reexplain my vision. On the wedding day the had messed up my food selections that were made in the tasting (I have very severe food allergies so I had special accommodations made in the tasting) and they were not present the day of the wedding which is what counted! Although everyone was quick to jump to correct, it was still not ideal as the bride to have to be worrying about my own food on my wedding day. I would only recommend if your date is near because the change of staff is very stressful on the bride and shows that mistakes can and probably will happen because what you discuss with one person may not transfer to the next.
