Red Bandana provided delicious gluten-free pastries for our wedding in Northern Virginia. We had a specific need to keep the entire menu gluten-free since the bride had celiac’s disease. Additionally, we wanted a cake for cutting, but wanted to have a different pastry as our main dessert. When we went into the bakery for our tasting, Jaimie Mertz guided us through all of our options including different cake and icing flavor combinations, as well as their full selection of pastries. Red Bandana provided everything we needed including a massive table display of gluten-free cinnamon rolls surrounding our cutting cake. They delivered everything exactly how we wanted it on the day of the wedding and coordinated with our wedding planner so that we did not need to worry about it. It made us so happy to serve delicious gluten-free desserts at our wedding and we would definitely recommend Red Bandana Bakery’s catering. We had a fully vegan wedding, so when it came time to pick the dessert there's no one else I would have gone to than Jaimie at Red Bandana. She baked a delicious and gorgeous mini cake for us to cut, along with a vegan dessert spread with mini fruit tarts, cake pops, and aquafaba macarons. 10/10 would hire for ANY dietary restriction you have! -

We loved our vegan tree cake!
We’re a very outdoorsy couple and wanted to incorporate this into our cake and could not have loved it more! We’re also both vegan and all of our guests were shocked that it was vegan! Everyone loved it! Highly recommend! -

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, it was very important for us to have it be strictly gluten free (or as gluten free as possible) since my husband has Celiac disease. We were pleased to know that Red Bandana Bakery wasn't too far away from Baltimore and immediately fell in love with their delicious GF bakery treats. The tasting was a lot of fun. We got to taste the different cakes, jams, and frostings--all of which were delicious. The fact that the tasting fee went towards our final wedding cake fee made making our decision very easy. Jaimie was really easy to talk to and was able to capture the vision of our cake. Communication was easy during the planning stages and we were not disappointed when we saw our cake on our wedding day. Lucky for us, we still have one more piece to savor on our anniversary. Highly recommend Red Bandana Bakery! -

Hillary Sent on 06/25/2018Jaimie and her team are professional, talented, and such a pleasure to work with. We can't thank the Red Bandana enough for making the most delicious wedding cake (lemon and funfetti with cream cheese frosting)! Jaimie was also able to decorate it just as we wanted, and delivered the cake directly to our venue. Despite the warm weather, it survived until cake cutting and was even more delicious than the tasting! Can't wait to use them again for other events.
