I can't say enough things about The Reception Center and their team!!! We had such a fabulous time at our own wedding and we owe it all to Marybeth and her staff. The staff is incredible. So attentive, made sure everything was perfect. It all went better and smoother than I could have ever imagined. From start to finish, the planning process, communication, help with finding vendors, dealing with last minute requests from us with a smile and a YES. Everyone who attended said the food was incredible (I wish I had eaten more, I wouldn’t have eaten at all most likely had it not been for the staff! They made me a plate and made me sit for 5 minutes and eat something, so grateful to them for that!) We had such an unbelievable time at our own wedding because we never had to think of a thing once it got started!
This place is amazing and the most reasonably priced place we found to boot. They could easily charge more and it would still be worth it. I can't thank them enough for giving us such an extraordinary evening through all of their hard work. It was an amazing night and they made it happen! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. -

I cannot say enough positive things about The Reception Center! Not only is the staff absolutely wonderful, but the food is phenomenal, it's very affordable, and the over all experience was fantastic. As a Covid bride who needed to postpone, they were so kind and helpful during the whole experience. Marybeth, the Wedding Coordinator, is amazing, and was attentive and communicative from booking up until the day of. The staff working our wedding were great as well.
We received so many compliments on the food- that it was the best wedding food our guests ever had, and how awesome it was that there were so many different and delicious foods during cocktail hour. (Seriously, cocktail hour is amazing and I hope to be invited to a wedding as a guest to eat it again!)
The ballroom was beautiful and the night was perfect. We are so happy to have had our wedding there! -

Dream wedding
We had our wedding at the reception center and it was perfect. Marybeth was super responsive and kept us up to date On what restrictions would look like due to the pandemic. It was honestly the best night of our lives! The food was out of this world and we loved that we were able to have a tasting before we booked. The Maitre d’ Jesse made sure me and my husband were able to enjoy our dinners and that our drinks were full all night. The Chateaubriand was both our favorite! However, our family really enjoyed the chicken St Clement and the salmon as well. Everyone is raving about the cocktail hour!! Marybeth and Brian were very understanding about covid and worked with us through out and we’re more than willing to work with us on our original guest count. I can’t thank The Reception Center enough for everything. They truly blew us away and made our wedding a dream. -

I can't thank The Reception Center (especially Marybeth) enough for making my wedding so amazing! They were so accommodating when we had to change locations due to Covid. They did everything they could to make my day extra special from the AMAZING FOOD and cake (that we received so many compliments on!!), to the decoration set up, taking care of me and my now husband during the reception, and serving buffet and tapas style cocktail food to make my guests feel comfortable with the Covid concerns. Although we were not able to have our wedding here due to COVID I still wanted to write them an excellent review. Marybeth was incredible to work with from the first time we walked in! The venue is absolutely beautiful and it broke our hearts to have to cancel - they were nothing short of fantastic when we initially changed our June date to September and we’re so flexible when we decided to cancel altogether. I cannot recommend them enough due to their customer service! -

My husband and I caught the bouquet and garter here years prior to our wedding, and we came back first and foremost because we remembered the awesome food. We dealt with Marybeth for all of our planning and she was nothing short of amazing. She is super laid back (which matched us) and she made sure to keep us on track with reminders on tastings and payments. Pricing was more than affordable. We wanted to stay on budget, so we utilized EVERYTHING that was included in our deal, and I’m so happy we did. Ceremony and reception were both beautiful. The centerpieces, linens, lighting, birdcage for cards - all perfect. There’s a men’s room and a women’s room on each side of the venue, so guests don’t have to go searching. Bars are on each side of the reception and I never saw a line even once. Drinks were balanced and delicious. Food. Was. Phenomenal. I cut my filet mignon with a fork! I asked for a change to an entree after the initial tasting, and Mayer Catering was very accommodating. My coworkers and family are still raving about the food a month later!
Marybeth: You are the sweetest and most efficient planner ever! Thank you for your personal touches on my cake and my loose ends that I didn’t think about. I will be recommending you to all my friends from here on out... and I can’t wait to come back. THANK YOU! -

All I have to say is WOW!!! Our expectations were exceeded in every aspect. We could not have asked for a more perfect space to have our wedding. The food was outstanding, the cake and decor were PERFECTION, and don’t even get me started on the service!! Marybeth, Peg, and the rest of the team ensured everyone from myself and my husband to our guests had everything they needed and didn’t have to wait for anything. Fabulous Wedding Venue
I can't say enough good things about this venue. So happy we chose it for the wedding reception. They offer choices for all budgets. We chose the Classic Reception and our guests are still raving about the hall, food and the staff. Marybeth was our coordinator and she made sure everything was perfect for our special day. Booking the Reception Center was the best and easiest decision we ever made!
Short version:
INCREDIBLE, AFFORDABLE, BEAUTIFUL, DELICIOUS, AMAZING SERVICE, BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!
(if it feels like I am screaming, I am. It was perfect!)
Long Version:
We had our wedding on September 7th 2019. Saturday night. Off Season.
Our ceremony at the St Clements Church next door.
Everything was so beautiful and delicious! It could not be more perfect!
Not to mention the staff were incredible. So kind, diligent. Seriously, they were ontop of EVERYTHING!
Even when we first started looking at venues, we compared everything to the Reception Center and what they had to offer.
Besides the fact it was one of the most affordable venues we found, we quickly found we did not have to sacrifice a thing.
Marybeth was easily one of the selling points. She was so patient and sweet. Never pressured us into anything.
She gave you her heart and all her attention from day one.
We chose the Grande Buffet Option.
We got 3 attended stations during cocktail hour, 8 different passed hor d'oeuvres, and an antipasto station, veggies, fruit, cheeses, everything!!
Everyone could not stop raving about the milkshake shooters, mac n cheese spoins, friend calamari, steak, gnocchi – seriously, there was so much great food.
Fast forward to dinner, we had 5 entrees, plus a potato, and veggie. Then two carving station (ham and chateaubriand –my mouth still waters thinking of that dinner)
And not to brag since it was my wedding, but I am pretty sure that was the best wedding cake I ever ate.
To put all this into perspective, other venues make you outsource the cake, or pay for your own linens, center pieces, colored uplighting, or shortened the cocktail hour.
Most often, other venues would cut us short on food or items just to get remotely close to the Reception Center's price.
The Reception center not only delivered on the basics, but spoiled our guests with amazing bottomless food, an upgraded bar, extra desserts after the cake cutting, champagne upon entrance, an ice sculpture, live pianists, and zeppolies at the end of the night.
It was truly incredible and if I could write a novel about the place, I would.
The reception center goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. And let me just say they spoiled my grandma. Marybeth even offered my grandma her office chair just so she can sit in something comfy with arm rests. They escorted her into the dining room early, brought her a dinner plate so my family could enjoy their night, and wrapped it all up when she needed to leave early.
They even gave us an extra helping of desserts to bring home to her because she had to miss the cake cutting.
I seriously could not put into words the amount of love and attention that came from this staff.
If you are considering the Reception Center, know itll be the best decision you ever make.
To everyone at the Reception Center/Mayer Catering, I love you all sosososo much! Thank you for making my wedding so incredible and truly a night to remember!

I can't say enough of this place and Marybeth! Everything from the planning process and the day of was PERFECT. Our guests are still raving about the food and the service! I chose the middle package and still had everything I wanted. It came with the cake, baked on site, centerpieces, lighting, birdcage for the cards, linens, ice sculpture, and pianist playing during cocktail hour. The attention to detail for what we paid was incredible. I had the time of my life and understand why this place is "the best kept secret!" Our wedding was 9/1/19. -

The Reception Center is a perfect 10! We had our wedding on July 6th, and people are still calling us daily to express how wonderful our wedding was! Marybeth and the entire staff at the Reception Center went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves! The planning process was so easy because they have everything there for you, from different dining options to napkins and linens, centerpieces, backlighting, and even ice sculptures and a pianist! They have a selection of packages to choose from and even offer impossible to beat specials and add ons. The prices are also unbeatable! Everyone there was amazing and very accommodating. They answered all questions promptly and nothing was a “stupid question", they really made us feel like everything was normal and simple. Our event coordinator Marybeth was so very helpful and kept everything running on time. She checked up on me to make sure I had everything I needed. She handled any and all situations that came up and everything was just perfect and wonderful. As an example, in the craziness and shuffle of the day, the Maid of Honor speech was misplaced. Within minutes, Marybeth was able to print another one out to calm my MoH's nerves. I absolutely loved having a separate room for the cocktail hour. Our attendant made sure we had every option of food the general room had and made sure to get extra of the bacon and burrata I so desperately wanted. Many of our guests said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to! Everyone raved about the food, it was plentiful and so delicious. We had excellent service. The bar always made sure our glasses stayed full and made sure our water was replenished to help keep us well hydrated. Everyone raved over our signature cocktails, especially the berry sangria! The food was absolutely superb! They even packed us dinners and our dessert plate to take home at the end of the night, and I heard from many guests that they had their dinners packed up as well from how full they were from the cocktail hour! The late-night passed apps were so cool too! The wait staff came out with light-up platters of mozzarella sticks, mini hot dogs, etc, which looked amazing with everyone on the dance floor. I really hope our videographer got that on film! Great people to work with, and a beautiful night! I have never experienced such great and amazing service before. This will always be the place to go for any parties we have in the future! I am definitely recommending this venue to anyone I know getting married, just for the selfishness of wanting to attend a Mayer Wedding as a guest! -

Best experience
We were recommended to the reception center from a family friend. This person went on and on about how beautiful the venue, and how delicious the food was. Immediately I set up an appointment to take a look for myself. Upon walking I was overwhelmed with how beautiful of a space it was. I especially loved that they only have one wedding at a time. This had been the first venue we visited and we booked that very day for March 30, 2019 choosing the majestic package. Our bridal coordinator, Marybeth, was with us from that the very first day until our wedding day. I cannot begin to explain how easy and effortless she made my wedding planing. We booked 18 months before our “ I do’s”, and no matter how silly my questions were ( and believe me there were MANY) she always answered quickly and professionally. The day of my wedding was extremely smooth. We had both ceremony and reception, and both were beautiful. My husband was so concerned about not enjoying our cocktail hour, and were reassured time and time again we would have lot of treats waiting for us inside the bridal suite. They did not disappoint whatsoever, the food was delicious. My bridal party was able to taste everything without having to go from station to station. Our bridal attendant was amazing, constantly replenishing our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was excellent. Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but it was delicious! My guests continue to reach out to us with compliments on how wonderful everything was. Best decision we made during our wedding planing for sure! -

Amazing experience
The Reception Center takes the majority of the stress of wedding planning off your plate. With the cost including an amazing and delicious wedding cake to beautiful silk center pieces you can’t beat it. Everyone at my wedding complimented the food and the service as perfect. We had the most amazing day of our lives and wouldn’t have changed any of the food choices we made. A night to remember 1/26/19
I cannot say enough about the Reception center. The room was gorgeous, and the food was amazing. Mary Beth was a huge help throughout our planning, and up to the minute my wife walked down the aisle. Peg created the most amazing décor I could imagine. My wife explained her vision, and Peg ran with it. She created a room that blew away anything my wife or I could have ever imagined. The service at the reception center is second to none. All of the staff there are extremely kind, and attentive. My wife and I were never without a drink, and anytime we looked as though we needed something, Hazel, and Amina were there to help.
I truly cannot recommend the Reception Center more. The created a beautiful night, and gave my wife and I a wedding that we, and our guests, will never forget.

My husband and I got married on October 5, 2018, the staff at the Reception Center went above and beyond to make our night perfect. From setting all of our own personal decor and favors up perfectly, to making sure we sat down to eat and also getting my husband a red bull when he was starting to get sleepy to stay on the dance floor. Marybeth and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make sure your night is picture perfect and speaking of pictures I can’t stop looking at how beautiful our garden pictures and water fountain pictures came out! I would recommend The Reception Center to anyone who is seeking a professional team, great food and beautiful ambiance at an affordable price to definetly check them out! -
Katrina Sent on 10/12/2018We cannot express just how happy we are with The Reception Center at Saint Clement! Our wedding was over a month ago and I am still daydreaming about our special day at the venue. Everything went smoothly and perfectly, thanks to the wonderful staff. Marybeth made the planning process so easy! She was wonderful to work with and I cannot thank her enough for her help with everything. She even directed our procession and recession, so it was flawless. We knew we wanted a venue with the best value, and The Reception Center had it all. It only holds one event per night, which made it much more intimate. The pianist during cocktail hour is an elegant addition as well. Everyone was raving about the food during cocktail hour, as well as the dinner buffet. The salad was amazing, even my husband loved it and he usually despises salads. The cake was excellent! I was so happy with how it turned out - it looked exactly like the inspiration photo I sent them. Having the bridal suite was great, too, since my husband and I wanted to be able to relax before the ceremony and during cocktail hour. All in all, we HIGHLY recommend The Reception Center at Saint Clement. If you are looking for the best value and high quality food and service, this venue is it. Everything was perfect! Thank you to Marybeth and the entire staff for helping make our day so much more special!

Katie Sent on 08/28/2018We got married on June 23, 2018 and couldn’t be happier that we chose The Reception Center not only for our reception, but for our ceremony as well. From the minute we walked in and met with Marybeth we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Even the owner came out to meet us. Marybeth worked well with our vendors to accommodate their needs since we were having the ceremony and reception at the venue. She made the whole wedding planning process easy. Anytime I had a question or concern I called her and she instantly had an answer or solution. She was vet prompt in getting back to me when she needed to. She was always one step ahead of me (which is pretty difficult to do). We loved that we had our own private bridal suite and cocktail hour. We were able to arrive before our guest and relax a bit before our ceremony. When we arrived Marybeth was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. The attendant in our suite during cocktail hour always made sure we had a drink and that there was always good.
We decided to go with a nontraditional cake and decided to have a cupcake tower. We gave the baker some ideas of what we were looking for and could have been more pleased with the outcome. He did a beautiful job. Not only did it look great, but tasted great too!.
And the food… people are still talking about the selection and amount of food. They couldn’t get over how great everything looked and tasted. There was plenty to eat during cocktail hour alone. By the time dinner came people said they were full. The staff was even kind enough to wrap some peoples food. As there did for us, since I knew we’d be hungry when we got home. We can’t thank Marybeth and the staff at The Reception Center for all they did to allow us to have the wedding of our dreams .We will definitely be recommending The Reception Center to our friends.

Emale Sent on 07/17/2018We had our wedding at the reception center June 29th 2018. And it was the most beautiful, amazing, and breathtaking experience we could never forget. Marybeth was exceptional down to planning, and organizing. On our wedding day everything ran so smooth. The bridal suite attendant and Amanda are extremly attentive and helpful it was as if they knew exactly what was needed at that moment. Amanda also made it a priority my husband and myself sat down to enjoy our dinner. I couldn't be more grateful to have that memory of being able to sit down even it if was for a few minutes .The moment we walked through the door. The reception center team worked there majic. I received so many compliments from our guest in regards to cocktail hr,dinner, and how professional the servers were and how beautiful the venue is. I definitely recommend this venue to everyone! Our wedding day was exactly how we imagine it would be.

But after meeting with Marybeth at The Reception Center at Saint Clement, we knew that we wanted to have a reception and we wanted to have it there. Marybeth & Brian made us feel so comfortable, like you are part of the family! :) The venue is beautiful!! The food is AWESOME! My wedding was on November 4, 2017 and I am still getting phone calls from people raving about how good the food and service was. The selection of food that you get to pick from is unbelievable, and the quality of the food is top notch. We also, had our ceremony there and it was beautiful. The way they are able to transform the room from Ceremony to Reception was flawless. Marybeth worked one on one with me and my husband through the entire planning, and it is because of her that everything was PERFECT! I cannot say enough good things about Brian and Marybeth! Also, the price is right! No other venue that we looked at could come close to the price for everything that you get with your package at The Reception Center at Saint Clement. I hope that I get to host another function here in the future.

Emily Sent on 11/14/2017First things, first, The Reception Center and the staff are absolutely amazing! They do everything! Food, cake, setting up your decorations, EVERYTHING! I found Saint Clements online and it was the first venue we visited. I knew as soon as we left our first appointment that this was going to be the place we would have our reception. My husband and I paid for most of the wedding ourselves so we were worried about the expense. Well, we didn't need to worry about that! The prices were definitely the best I have ever seen and the quality of the food and service, you would think we had spent a fortune. As for the staff, Marybeth is so wonderful, responsive and just so easy to work with. She made everything leading up to the big day so smooth and stress free and everything turned out exactly how I wanted. My relatives are still talking about how amazing the food was and how beautiful the hall was (for real though, those skylights!). Our maitre d, Amanda was incredible, my husband and I did not need to get one single thing for ourselves. We truly felt like royalty! If you are planning a wedding, please check out The Reception Center at Saint Clement, I promise you, you will not be disappointed!
