The Poppy and the Peony did full floral service for my wedding on 5/31/25 and it was everything I could have asked for and more; I was blown away by all of the florals, from bouquets to pew flowers to centerpieces. My bridal bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen, and my wedding florals will always be something I remember and smile about. The flowers really made our wedding vision come together in the venue, and you can tell Bunny puts SO much effort into making the florals unique and luxurious; our pieces were filled with large, fresh, vibrant and high quality flowers (that smelled amazing). In addition, the corsages and boutonnieres for our family members were the perfect touch and they all loved them! She made the process of getting a quote so easy, and planning the florals was actually really fun because I could give her my vision and she helped make it a reality!
Bunny was also my month/day-of coordinator, and I mean it when I say I couldn't have enjoyed my wedding day without her help. My wedding day was actually the greatest day of my life, and I can really say I was able to take in the moments of the day throughout. No one was asking me questions, and when it was time to go down the aisle, Bunny helped me feel so calm. She has an incredibly kind and calming presence and it was just what I needed on my wedding day, she helped me just feel happy and excited. She learned family dynamics, found out who to coordinate with, and was SO organized. The things she asked me during our meetings practically helped me plan half the wedding. After the wedding day, many of our friends and family complimented our florals and Bunny herself, and we went home the night of our wedding absolutely thrilled with how beautiful things turned out and how much we enjoyed our day. We are still so happy a month after. We really felt like she was there for us and the wedding as a whole, making it all come together and being our friend in the process. The service coordination was clear, smooth, and flexible, and Bunny herself goes to great lengths to be there for you as a bride and get you what you want. You can really trust her, and I don't have anything but great things to say about her abilities as a florist and coordinator! -

AMAZING! You will not regret choosing The Poppy and the Peony!
I got my wedding bouquet, head table greenery garland, and flower girl’s petals from The Poppy and the Peony. The petals were a beautiful mixture of whites and my wedding colors. The greenery garland for the head table was gorgeous, very full and lush on the table. My wedding bouquet was breathtaking. It was very full with trailing greenery falling down over the edge. The colors were a perfect and stunning mixture of whites, tans, oranges, yellows, and burgundy that complimented the wedding colors perfectly! Bunny was awesome to work with, she is so creative and attentive: you can really tell she loves what she does. Bunny made the process so stress-free and easy. I am beyond thrilled with the florals I got from The Poppy and the Peony and would absolutely recommend them to anybody. -

We used Bunny as our florist and wedding coordinator - it couldn't have gone better! Our interaction first with Bunny began with a lovely and in depth meeting about our hopes for flowers at our wedding. After walking through some questions, we ended our meeting and then Bunny sent a Flower Preview entailing all we had discussed with other options as well. This preview was set up like a power point with photos from the bride's bouquet to the flowers for the arch, boutonnières, and more! After finalizing every detail and being in constant communication, she sent over a Google Doc in order to fill out information about our wedding, vendors, rehearsals, etc. When the day of my wedding came, all I had to do was set out any decor I wanted to use and as my bridal party, mom, and I all got ready with snacks and drinks she provided, Bunny was furiously decorating the ceremony and reception space. By the time we were done getting ready, the space was complete and BEAUTIFUL! The day could not have gone smoother - as a bride, I was actually relaxed! As the ceremony continued, Bunny worked with my DJ, photographer, and videographer to make sure everything was as it should be. When my food arrived, the caterers had not brought the chicken (one of two main courses). Bunny took care of it by calling the vendor, letting me know it's getting taken care of, and even made an announcement to guests that the chicken was late. Even when something wrong, Bunny made everything feel right. I am incredibly thankful for her help, calm demeanor, and advice she offered along the way. You couldn't choose a better florist or coordinator for your wedding or event! 100 out of 5 stars -

Bunny created an absolute design and floral masterpiece for our 6/26 wedding in downtown Grand Rapids. Her vision transformed our joyful day into a truly magical one that exceeded all of our hopes. I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with Bunny. Thanks to her talent, we had the (pandemic-postponed) wedding of our dreams. -

My wedding flowers turned out absolutely beautiful!! Bunny truly has a gift for designing and putting everything together. She and her assistant Katie worked with me through a postponement and despite the setbacks, they were able to make my vision for my wedding come to life! She even made a wedding inspo board that we were able to work off of based on my vision. The variety, colors, and quality of the flowers were stunning. 100% recommend if you are in the West Michigan area and you are getting married to go with Poppy & the Peony! -

I would highly recommend Bunny. From start to finish she was kind, creative, and full of great ideas. If you are on a budget she helps you find the best price for you, which I appreciated greatly. Very flexible and hard working! -

Hire Bunny - you’ll be so pleased you did!
Our wedding was in 2016. My husband and I knew we wanted comic book details in different parts of our wedding day; we did not anticipate flowers being an area we would do this. I also had a clear idea of what I didn’t want for floral. Enter Bunny. All I could tell her was: I love pink, roses are stupid, I like carnations, maybe some lilies if those were in season. This was not a lot to work with, and didn’t give her much direction. Y’all - she is so creative and talented!! She did paper flowers out of old comic books, found me a bunch of gorgeous pink flowers, added greenery, and did not include roses. My flower girls had flower wands and they loved them. My bouquet ribbon had The Hulk on it. Bunny thought of things I did not, and it was exactly perfect. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you hire her. -

The Poppy and The Peony did an absolute amazing job with making our wedding beautiful. Kristin took several ideas and made them into beautiful masterpieces. She was extremely flexible as I changed my ideas several times throughout the planning. She was able to meet with me to go over initial and final planning, pricing etc. She took so much stress out of the day but taking charge and setting up the reception beautifully. She was by far the easiest service we hired on our day and was a huge relief to have her as part of my team. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding/event! She is brilliant in what she does and your event is guaranteed to be absolutely beautiful and perfect with her help. -

Amazing company - so attentive with beautiful results
The Poppy and the Peony was an amazing company to work with for my wedding. They took so much time to figure out exactly what I wanted. The flowers were so beautiful. I have so many photos of just the flowers around my house now because they were so beautiful. I can't stress how kind and attentive they are. I loved working with them--I highly recommend them! -

Bunny is a true artist.
Bunny was such a pleasure to work with. During such a frantic time, planning a wedding out of state, she provided me with reassurance and creative genius every step of the way. She is remarkable at bringing your thoughts and ideas to life, even if you aren't the greatest at expressing your authenticity and individual flair. She created a Pinterest board where we were able to share visual options and was in constant contact through text or email. I knew she would do a good job as I had seen her work, but I never could have imagined how the exquisite flower creations she made would bring to life a part of me in my wedding I never knew I wanted to share. When she handed me my bouquet for the first time while I sat in the limo before I entered the church, it was so stunning it brought me to tears. I love flowers and knew they would add character and style to our wedding but not to the extent that Bunny did. That keen eye and awareness is pure talent. She is a true artist. -
