Delicious food and wonderful service!!

The entire staff was perfect!! They were extremely nice to all of our guest at the wedding and the food was great!! We got the taco bar and the steak was cooked perfectly, they grilled at the venue and it made the whole venue smell wonderful!!!

First of all, our tasting blew us away. Such a lovely team to work with, super responsive to all our questions, and amazing quality. They went above and beyond with table decor and helping us customize passed vs self-serve apps. Guests raved about the food and we could not have been happier!

Delicious food, great people

Buffalo Gals catered our rehearsal 'picnic' and they were the perfect fit! Kathy and Michelle are such kind souls, and were wonderful to work with. They grilled out at the park where we hosted our party, and everything was delicious. We had a couple of dietary restrictions in our group, and they made sure to include them with no problem. Their staff members were so accommodating as well, and had everything set up on time. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing great food and service for their next event!

Great food and super easy to work with!

Buffalo Gals are absolutely amazing! The food at my wedding was delicious, and we were able to fully customize the menu to have what we wanted. We are still getting compliments about the food! They were super easy to work with and did a great job setting up/taking down at the end of the night. I highly recommend them!

Delicious and Professional

We used Buffalo Gals for our son’s rehearsal brunch, and the bride also used them for the wedding the next day. Both meals were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Buffalo Gals is the way to go!

We used Buffalo Gals catering for our wedding in Denver. We were able to travel down to Colorado Springs for a tasting prior to our wedding. The food was great and the team was super responsive and helpful in the planning process. I would definitely recommend using this amazing team to cater your next event!

Amazing Food!

We got married at Spruce Mountain and we had Buffalo Gals cater our reception of about 110 people. The food was delicious, and we got several compliments on it, especially on the tri-tip! The servers were also very professional and kind. I would definitely use Buffalo Gals Catering again!

We love Buffalo Gals! We knew several people who had Buffalo Gals cater their weddings in the last year or so, and they all gave rave reviews, so we knew we had to have them for our wedding, too. My husband and I don’t live in Colorado anymore, so we didn’t have the opportunity to taste the food before the wedding day, but it was awesome! The food was so delicious, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The staff is great, too. They know exactly how weddings work and they have all the little details figured out so that the dinner runs smoothly. (We also had them make our cupcakes and cake for dessert. They were also SO delicious and they dessert table set up was beautiful… made for great cake cutting photos ☺ )

Buffalo Gals is absolutely fantastic! We were planning our wedding remotely, since we live on the East Coast, and Lauren and her team made this process so easy and stress-free. They thought of every detail for the day and made our wedding reception so special. We got tons of compliments on the food from our guests. We felt so well taken care of throughout the day. Carol and her team made sure that we didn't miss out on any of the great food, even when we were busy taking photos. Everyone we encountered was very professional and lovely to work with. I seriously cannot recommend them enough!

Every single one of our guests commented on how delicious our food was at our wedding! Not only was the food amazing, but the service they provided was incredible! The price we paid was a steal for what we actually got! Lauren was wonderful and helped make my wedding day run so smoothly!! I will definitely use the picnic basket again for future catering.

This company was AMAZING, especially with my husband and I being 6 hours away. They didn't just cater amazing food that all our guests loved, but Dani decorated the entire hall the exact way I imagined. I would definitely recommend them!

Buffalo Gals was the best! Their food was simple yet delicious, classic and casual for our laid-back afternoon wedding. The tasting was so easy and helpful, and the walkthrough before the wedding totally set me at ease - they really know what they are doing. Moreover, on our wedding day, their staff was beyond professional and constantly helping me and my groom throughout the day. They would bring us food and drinks because they knew we didn't have the time to stop and get it ourselves! I am thrilled that we hired Buffalo Gals and highly, highly recommend them. Thanks, Gals!

Lauren was amazing to work with during all the planning and the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly because of her. The food was absolutely amazing everything we were hoping for. All of our guest commented on the quality of the food, including the amazing appetizers. The day of all the servers and bartender were so helpful and helped everything run perfectly smooth. Buffalo Gals is a fantastic catering company. Michelle was extremely flexible and upfront with everything. The quality of the food was fantastic and their service was on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress free catering company that is worth the money.

My daughter and I chose Cravings because of the coordinator - Lauren Brenner. She went so far above and beyond what she had to do to ensure that the day was perfect.
Food - After the tasting, we were able to change some of the dishes in our original order to things we thought guests would prefer. We chose several appetizers and the pasta bar. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you get the artichoke-Parmesan appetizer, be sure to order extra. The guests LOVED it!
Preparation and setup - The wedding was at Hillside Gardens; Lauren and her staff took care of all the setup/take-down. Lauren even took in our seating chart and other extras to set up for us. She also reached out to a new linen vendor to get my daughter's wedding colors for the table overlays and napkins.
After the wedding and reception, Lauren helped make sure that everything we needed was loaded in our car. She even returned the baker's cake stand for us.

I planned our wedding from out of state and Cravings was so easy to work with. Cassie is seriously the sweetest girl ever and was always willing to do anything to help us. They did a wonderful job on our wedding day- our guests continue to talk about how good the food was and how pleasant and accommodating the servers were. What a fantastic job Cassie and her crew did for our wedding! They did all the linens, tableware and chairs as well as excellent hors d'oeuvres and a lovely buffet dinner. Her staff was terrific. Cassie was extremely pleasant to work with, accommodating and very professional with great suggestions for the food. We could not have been more pleased with Cravings!

We used Cravings for our wedding and are so glad we did. They were organized and easy to work with. They really help you customize the menu to your needs. Their prices were more reasonable than any other vendor we looked into and their food was better too. We got so many compliments at our wedding and they even package up any leftovers for you at the end of the night... awesome to have after the honeymoon when you don't want to make anything major!

My catering was done by Picnic Basket. I chose a buffet style fajita bar with 3 meats. Shortly before the wedding I found out I would have about a dozen children attending the wedding and they were able to add chicken tender meals for the children. The servers they sent were excellent and very attentive to the needs of our guests.

Cassie was so amazing to work with. She made sure that the food was exactly what we wanted and how we wanted - including making sure there were gluten free options for my allergy and any guests who could not eat it as well. Cassie & her crew did a wonderful job at our son & daughter in laws wedding. The tri tip beef was outstanding as well was the grilled salmon. They were very organized and professional. Cassie was very helpful in suggesting things we may need as I was my own wedding planner. We would certainly use them again as well as make it a point to visit them for some awesome BBQ next time we're in town.

The food was great. They have a huge menu to choose from. Our rehearsal dinner and wedding were at The Depot (formerly Giuseppe's Depot) and they catered both events. We got several comments from guests about how great the food was. The turtle cheesecake is to die for. Staff is very nice and friendly. I would definetely recommend them!

Buffalo Gals did a fantastic job at our wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch. The grilled tri tips with the griller on site was a big hit. They worked with us on our special requests (plated salads and bread baskets on the tables) and served the bride, groom, and grandparents so they didn't have to go through the buffet line. The buffet line was so quick! The catering team worked so well with our planner that the set-up and tear-down was flawless and we did not have to lift a finger.

We worked with The Picnic Basket for our wedding. They were recommended by our venue and florist. The food was so so incredible. Our band came up and said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. They even helped cut and serve our cake, which wasn't purchased from them. The servers made sure my husband and I got plenty to eat and drink. Though more expensive than other options, I'm really glad we went with Picnic Basket.

I can not say enough about Michelle and her staff at Cravings!!!! They truly were my savior throughout this whole wedding process! For starters I have received so many compliments on how quick and efficient her staff was on the wedding day. We had set our ceremony up outside but right before the processional began it started pouring! So we had to move everything inside. The catering staff flipped the ballroom from dinner/reception venue to a beautiful ceremony site in 12 minutes(someone timed it!) We weren�t even late getting started! But the flexibility Cravings offered started way before the actual wedding day. My husband and I live in Denver, but Cravings is based out of Colorado Springs, so all our meetings had to take place in the Springs. Since Michelle knew this would be difficult she offered to meet us late in the evenings to make it easier on us. And even had little snacks waiting for us when we arrived. I can�t list all of the wonderful extra things Cravings did for us but just to name a few:
-I realized 2 days before the wedding that we were brining in an outside cake with no one to cut it! I called Michelle and with no hesitation she said they would take care of it at no extra cost. And of course they did!
-I had so many little tiny things to set up, favors, signs, tags, table numbers, etc and instead of having to assign family and friends to this process the Cravings staff took care of it and made everything look beautiful!

The biggest compliment I can give Cravings is that the food was so incredible and the presentation was amazing, but what makes this company worth hiring is so much more then just the food, linens, and china. It�s their outstanding customer service and the piece of mind that I had as a bride that if something slipped through the cracks, Cravings would take care of it! I�m so very thankful that we hired them and would HIGHLY recommend them to other couples!

Michelle and her staff at Buffalo Gals was amazing for our wedding. The food, presentation and service was outstanding. Anything we asked of the staff was promptly taken care of. The staff continually asked if we we alright or needed anything - they really seemed to care about our day being perfect. We had more than enough food and our family are BIG eaters - everyone that wanted were able to have 2nds and 3rds with leftovers going home all packaged up for us. They cut our cake and served with no cake cutting fee as other caterers charge. We had and are still getting so many compliments on the quality of the food and service. Even our liquor vendor was impressed with our menu when we were planning wine and other bar items!!

The wedding day was perfect but getting ahold of someone with questions the weeks before was the only part of the experience with Buffalo Gals that I would say was bad. My phone calls and email were not returned and I had to try multiple times to get my answers.

Overall I would highly recommend Buffalo Gals/Cravings Catering. Their food and event service is their strength - maybe not in their office :)

They can do it all! Very classy to casual. We had a BBQ for our rehearsal at the venue the evening before our wedding, and they catered that as well. Our guests loved the food.

Fabulous food, fabulous service at our event. The food was even better than at the tasting (which is really saying something!) Everything was cooked perfectly and served at the right temperature. The staff was amazing and worked very hard to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. Our party was interrupted by an incredible sideways rain, hail, thunder and lightening storm. The staff was incredibly flexible and very concerned that we were alright. We had to put a pause on the party due to safety but Buffalo Gals worked very hard to get everything cleaned up and ready for us to resume. I can't imagine working with a better staff. I worked very hard to stay on top of things as our rehearsal dinner was planned from long distance. If you are looking for a barbecue Buffalo Gals will make you happy.

Cravings Catering provided amazing food and service for my wedding reception! I loved dish that they served. Also, they were very helpful in creating a meal that fit my budget and desire for a fun, station buffet. They were very professional and experienced - definitely the place to go for wedding catering in Colorado Springs.

One minor complaint: before the wedding, I did have difficulty getting responses from Cravings to my emails. So, it was initially challenging to get on the same page regarding the final menu and price. Once those details were set, the food and event service were amazing.

They were so helpful, they knew everything that I would need and more. They were always available to answer questions and easy to meet with and book. It was afforadable and the food was excellent.

We are still getting compliments about the food and the level of service from our caterers at the wedding, and it was almost 3 weeks ago! We got compliments all night during the wedding and reception as well. And I especially appreciated their help with flipping our ceremony space into the reception space very quickly. I ended up being the one delaying my reception - the caterers had everything ready to go well before I was ready to go!

My only complaint would be that during the planning stages, it was pretty difficult to communicate with the planners/owners. It was like pulling teeth to get them to respond to an e-mail. I would either have a phone call or e-mail conversation (1 email back and forth) with the owner or her assistant to make a change to our invoice, and they said they would send an updated copy over right away, but days or sometimes at least a week would go by and I would hear nothing. I would have to reach out to them again and remind them I was waiting on an updated invoice and then I'd get an " I'm so sorry, I'll send it right away!" It was just a little concerning since we were spending a lot of money on this and I didn't really feel they were paying much attention to me.

They did make up for it by being extremely friendly and helpful on the day of the wedding, and the owner Michelle even came up to me and my husband a couple of times during the reception set-up and dinner to make sure we had what we wanted to eat or drink, so we wouldn't have to go through the crowd to get it ourselves.

I had worked with Cravings' sister company, Buffalo Gals, for years planning company picnics. I have always found them to be affordable, delicious, and wonderful to work with.

The staff at Cravings is fantastic and the food is fabulous - I received numerous compliments after the wedding and was told by almost everyone that they went back for seconds and thirds. The presentation was beautiful and they set up the reception so quickly (I had large centerpieces and a last-minute indoor wedding due to weather)! Cravings also cut my cake (from another vendor) at no additional fee/cost.

My only complaint is the time it took to respond to me on numerous occasions during the planning process (I believe they had a staffing issue; one of the managers left, leaving them swamped). But Michelle Talarico (the owner) came through for me in the end with top-notch service and heavenly food. I will continue to use them whenever I can.

Some items are a little overpriced for what you end up getting, but overall the food was great and the catering staff made everything happen the way we planned.

Buffalo Gals has very yummy food, especially their potato salad. We had an all gluten-free wedding and they did a great job catering to our needs and insuring we wouldn't have any cross contamination from other foods they serve. Thank you for making our event great!

The food was delicious! We had buffalo flank steak, grilled chicken, mashed potato bar, vegetables, etc. They also made sweet tea for us, which was great. The only issues were that we had some problems getting feedback/contact when we had questions/etc throughout the planning. It was during the holidays so maybe that is why. Cassie was great to work with, and as a southerner she knew what we wanted in sweet tea :)

The two waitstaff provied for our event seemed to not really have any clue of what might be expected of them during the event. In the end, a wonderful neighbor jumped in and had to direct the servers to keep the party going by emptying dirty dishes, prompting the servers to actually start serving - collecting dirty dishes - offering to get drinks or food to our guests. Without the neighbors input we would not have had enough paper plates, forks,knives, etc.

We decided to go with the picnic basket because of their reputation. They were very accommodating with our special requests, they don't have "no" in their vocabulary. It is on the pricey side but we were willing to pay more for the experience and expertise the company represented.
The day of I felt they were a little slow on bringing out the food and a few items lacked the accompanying sauce. The food was not bad, just a little on the dry side. After the dinner we were told that our bartender was leaving despite paying for the whole night. Thankfully, the venue did not let him leave since a bartender was necessary. I was not a fan of the bartender from The Picnic Basket, he refused to give us shots and did not seem happy to be there. He also told a guest he wasn't an actual bartender and admitted he didn't know what a manhattan was.
I would recommend The Picnic Basket but suggest going with your own bartender.

We did BBQ for our wedding and it was absolutely delicious! We couldn't decide between the amazing biscuits and butter and the sweet potato rolls with jalapeño jelly so we got both! They accommodated us so well and I would recommend them based on the quality of the food for sure.

Cravings did a great job. The food was good and the cake tasted wonderful. Cravings was included in the wedding package we purchased from Eastholme B&B, so we really didn't have to deal with them at all (other than a tasting). Overall, I was satisfied with the quality of their food for the pride.

Upon engaging with this vendor one of the owners decided to take us on herself instead of the usual partner. It was great until the last 4-5 weeks when I couldn't get a return phone call without multiple calls. I didn't have the opportunity to revise the rentals because she assumed I wanted what she had presented. Several other circumstances did provide me an opportunity to revise certain things that would have cut the cost down a bit.
Buffalo Gals were terrific in purchasing additional alcohol during the reception and getting it there before the liquor stores closed (Sunday night).
Bottom line: I think the partner that usually handles the wedding customers should of handled ours.

We used Cravings 5 Star Catering for our wedding. I was very impressed with the delicious lemon chicken and garlic mashed potatoes. They also had a quick team that switched our venue over quickly between the venue and ceremony. If you have a buffet they will match your theme to decorate the buffet. I would highly recommend paying extra to have a bartender come, our bar was handled seamlessly!

The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars were some small details. I had met with them several times and typed up all of our wedding details very clearly so there would be no questions, then on the day of the wedding the caterers were bothering my mother with questions. Our tables were set-up 2 hours early. And there was some confusion and unfortunately our champagne wedding toast was 20 minutes late.

My husband and I were having a late wedding, and decided to order many different appetizers for 90 people. The picnic basket told us that there would be plenty of food, and would set-it up with different tiers. I was disappointed with the presentation, and the food did not last hardly at all. All in all, we spent 1200.00 on appetizers that were not worth it. I would shop around!

Overall, very disappointed by our experience with Buffalo Gals on our wedding day and in the week after. Throughout the year, we worked with Cassie who was professional, very responsive, kind, and helpful. We are certain if Cassie had remained involved through our wedding day, we would have been far happier. In the month leading up to our wedding day, Michelle T., one of the owners, took over. Her customer service is poor and unprofessional. On our wedding day, we did not receive any vegetarian meals. Food and plates ran out on the buffet, while guests waited in line, and took long enough to replenish that guests questioned if we were out of food altogether. After, I shared feedback about the service and Michelle's response to me was that she had a good staff there who told her they were "certain" the slow dinner service was due to guests watching our slideshow. Guests’ watching a slideshow doesn’t cause food to run out and not be replenished. My mom emailed and clarified what the problem was, but Michelle didn't respond to her. She never has acknowledged the actual problem or their role in it. She credited us eight meals for the vegetarian meals we didn't receive, but also charged us more staff hours, so in the end we still paid more. Michelle couldn't be bothered with sending us an itemized contract (told us it wasn't customary); Cassie itemized it. Finally, though Michelle wasn't compelled to respond to our feedback, she did email us a week later asking for payment. Even though her business had received the check two days prior and cashed it on the day she emailed us. The food itself was delicious and guests raved about it. Andrea, our bartender, was great. We requested her full name three times to send gratuity, but noone answered. The dinner service itself was frustrating, but not a huge deal. However, in working with Michelle, we had many problems.These, but primarily her poor response & attitude, is why I wouldn't recommend BG, nor would I use them again.

I have to say working with Cravings was not the experience I thought it would be. I had worked with them in the past on other events and thought it would be a repeat of the great service and attention to detail that I had previously experienced. They were not prepared for the venue, and thus did not have enough staff or supplies. Example: the venue did not have a water supply, so our guests had no water for almost 2 hours, except what they could get from a public drinking fountain. They showed up with the wrong chairs, so I had plastic folding chairs in a museum decorated in marble, granite and ornate brass - talk about not fitting in. To top it all off, we delivered ahead of time all the centerpiece items, special toasting stemware, special utensils for cake cutting, etc. only to find out the staff wasn't going to set it out as was discussed. My mom had to send a family member to try and set things up about 30 min. before our guests started arriving - while my ceremony was still going on. I will say the food was, as always, absolutely amazing. There was one server who tried her best to get things done. If she had had any help it may have gone much better. But, to have 120 hungry people with no water sitting around for almost 30 minutes before the buffet was set up to feed everyone, no one really cared how good the food tasted. Good thing we had a ton of cold adult beverages (that we provided) to at least keep almost everyone calm.

Not happy! In the beginning they were great and very responsive. Then after we met to taste the food it went down hill from there. They failed to show up for our initial walk thru at the venue. We scheduled a second walk thru and the very young and unprofessional representaive they sent was annoying. She kept arguing with us. The day of the wedding they did show up on time (I had my doubts). The set up was nice, but the food was awful. Cold and nowhere close to what we had tasted in our previous meeting. Then to top it off they charged me an additional hour for the servers.

I was very disappointed with this vendor. The tasting was great and the staff was awesome BEFORE we signed a contract. Once they knew we were a small wedding, I could never reach my rep and had many issues getting my order right. The food was not the same at the wedding as at the tasting. It was cold and bland. The staff at the wedding was also awful. We had to get them out of the back room on numerous occasions when we needed something. Every time we went in there, the staff was eating or playing on their phones. They may have better service at larger weddings that bring in more $, but I would not recommend anyone to try this vendor. The prices are good, but it was not worth the stress created by using them on my wedding day.

Terrible experience. When we added several guests (with at least 2 weeks notice) the over all price nearly doubled. More or less bait and switch tactics. So now, rather than $5000, I am looking at $9000! It's 2 weeks before the wedding...what are you going to do? And they know that, and use it to their advantage. The owner would not return my calls, or even see me when I visited the office. OK. I'll live with it. But then the real kicker. On the night of the event, they set up a single serving line instead of a double serving line. More than 2 hours after the 1st table got served, I am running around apologizing to the remaining guests that had not yet been served. When they did get served the meal was cold and tasteless. I suggest you look further for your catering needs.
