Best photographer ever!

I highly recommend Ivy! We LOVED working with her for our wedding. She is an incredible photographer, but also amazing at wrangling families for group photos and finding perfect photo locations. She even saved my wife’s bustle twice! Ivy brought the best vibes on our wedding day and kept everything on time and running smoothly. She delivered an incredible gallery really quickly! One Helluva Photog

We hired Ivy for our engagement and fall wedding photos. She was everything we hoped for and needed in a photographer! She made us laugh and feel comfortable throughout the whole process. We loved how down to earth she was, not afraid to speak her mind and get the job done right. Phenomenal !!!

Ivy is an absolute phenomenal photographer ! She is not only very fun to work with and really knows what she's doing, but is very quick on her response time and pricing is very fair ! Ivy came to do our outdoor wedding pics in -15* weather and rode it out with us like a trooper ! The pictures turned out amazing and we will definitely be booking her for all our family events !

Ivy was exceptional!

We chose Ivy for our wedding because not only did we love her photography style, but her pricing was way more affordable than others we've seen. We absolutely loved our experience with Ivy. She played a key role in making sure our day ran smoothly. The night before the wedding, we realized our timeline was messed up and we did not have time for getting ready photos. I was totally upset and having a meltdown. I messaged Ivy and she was so quick to respond and help. She came up with a new timeline for us, gave us an extra hour at a discounted price, and agreed to come an hour earlier than planned. Ivy truly saved the day. Ivy was also familiar with RMNP and knew several great locations to take us to for our couples photos. Her energy was great the entire time, she is so fun to work with, and all my guests loved her. I am OBSESSED with all my wedding photos. I feel like I'm looking at a Pinterest post when I look at them, the photos came out just how I was hoping they would! I am so glad we chose her. We highly recommend her!

Fabulous photographer

My husband and I were so happy that Ivy was our wedding photographer! She was able to capture so many candid and fun photos throughout our big day. Ivy has a fantastic personality and my whole wedding party really loved her! She is organized and efficient in taking all the photographs before, during, and after the wedding. Destination Wedding Reception in Denver

Ivy was amazing. We traveled to a wedding reception in Denver, CO in Oct 2022. Ivy was one of the first photographers we reached out to (because of her encouraging reviews) and let me just say, we were not disappointed. Ivy was easy to communicate with and quick to respond, and it was very clear from the start that she wanted to make sure the day was captured perfectly. Our meetings prior to the event were tailored to help us determine what package was best for us and then how we expected the day to go. On the day of, Ivy met us at the venue (because we asked her to meet us at the venue and not the hotel) and got right to work, immediately taking photos as we stepped out of the car. She was great at interacting with our family members and guiding them (and us) through the day without us even noticing she was there. We did not realize until we received our digital album how much of the day she captured, and how long into the night she stayed to capture every moment. Her photos were amazing and at our request it was a well balance compilation of standard wedding photos, creative photos, and candid photos. She really captured it all and we would 100% hire her again.

What a wonderful experience all around!

Ivy is truly the best! My husband and I met Ivy at his sister’s wedding a year prior to our projected wedding date. We had nothing planned but after I saw how she handled a chaotically big family, I knew she was our photographer. From step one to the big day, Ivy was super flexible and responsive with a cheery attitude. We even had some super late family meme era on the big day and she handled it no sweat. She even helped us locate the rings when my husband forgot them in a table. Basically, she is amazing. She has gorgeous vision and has such a great personality at the same time. I wish I was getting married again so I could have her with us.

Ivy is quirky, hilarious, and so talented

Ivy is the best! From the very beginning she was so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable - she made us feel so comfortable while also totally hyping us up. We loved our engagement session with us in March 2020, where she climbed all over a mountain side to take incredible photos of us in the snow. On our wedding day she was magic - touching up my makeup, making us feel like celebrities, and capturing gorgeous portraits and incredible candids. We go previews incredibly fast and received a staggering number of high quality photos that I am absolutely obsessed with. And all of that for a really reasonable price! Your wedding photographer is one of the most decisions you will make, and if you want someone quirky, funny, and wildly talented, you can't do better than Ivy.

Professional, Inclusive, In-Charge, and Fun!

My husband and I got married in August 2021. We had a small ceremony at my childhood home with a larger reception at a nearby distillery to follow. We are a fairly laid back couple and were pretty easy-going about our big day. I was adamant about ONE thing - that we hire an amazing photographer. And let me tell you, Ivy (The Pic Chick) delivered! A mutual friend had recommended The Pic Chick to me. I had an intro call with Ivy where she answered all of my questions and gave me a detailed rundown of how she operates. She stayed in touch and collected all the necessary details prior to the wedding day. On wedding day Ivy was punctual, professional, inclusive, in charge, and so much fun. She ensured we got all of the photo combinations that we requested plus any creative ideas she had. Ivy even transported us to our reception! We received a sneak peek of our photos not even a week later. They were incredible! Our final gallery was just as amazing. We highly recommend Ivy and regularly talk about how she was such an integral part of our special day. We cannot express how grateful we were to have her!

The best!!!

Ivy was amazing for my October 9th wedding!!! Even prior to the big day, Ivy was great at communicating to ensure everything was set for the wedding and she made sure to have a list of all necessary photos for the day. The day of, Ivy doubled as a coordinator for me with all the extras she did!!! The reception was at an Airbnb, and Ivy did a wonderful job at helping to determine where the dance floor should be. She also assisted the men with their boutonnières, bustled my wedding dress, and helped calm my nerves as the bride! A storm came through fairly quickly after the ceremony, and Ivy was quick to rearrange the series of events and choose a new spot for family pictures, while also reassuring me that everything would work out! Ivy is professional, organized, fun, and takes beautiful pictures. Her experience really shines through and she was the perfect person to hire for my wedding! I really appreciate all she did for me and highly recommend her.

The Pick Chick hit it out of the park!

We decided to travel from Arizona to Colorado for our wedding so finding the right photographer to capture this moment was critical. Our experience with Ivy, aka The Pick Chick, was great and helped reduce the stress of having a destination wedding. She is outgoing, well-organized, and knew the best places to take pictures in the Boulder area. She was easy to talk to and helped us create a solid plan for our engagement photos, first look, and wedding photos. Her prices are reasonable, and she always seemed to exceed our expectations.

During the Spring before our wedding, we traveled to Boulder for an engagement shoot with The Pick Chick. This allowed Ivy to get to know us, understand what we were looking for, and really put us at ease that we made the right decision. The location that she chose was beautiful and really captured the outdoor vibe that we were looking for. It snowed the day before and Ivy was comfortable trekking through knee-deep snow to get the best shots. It was a fun and adventurous experience!

Several months later we met Ivy again for our first look, she had all the permits we needed prepared which allowed us to hit the ground running. The weather once again threw us a curveball. It was raining on and off all day, but Ivy was on top of it and provided some great advice to go ahead with shooting outside. The pictures came out great and we were very happy we trekked through a little mud and a little snow to capture the moment.

Once we arrived at the wedding venue, Ivy's personality was the perfect mix of assertive and positive. This rare combination allowed her to organize a varied group of adults for the family/friend photos, while also gaining the trust of the kids so she could capture some great candid photos.

If you are considering hiring a photographer for your family photos, a wedding, or another memorable event in your life, you will not be disappointed with the Pick Chick. She's great!

Amazing photographer!

We used Ivy for engagement photos, boudoir photos, and our wedding photos and we are so happy with the result! We had to reschedule our engagement photos several times due to COVID-19 (and the fact that we had to fly out from Florida) and Ivy was very flexible, understanding and communicative. She made us feel so comfortable behind the camera, even though we were very nervous at first! She even made me feel comfortable and beautiful during the boudoir photos, and showed me exactly how to pose. During our wedding, she did a great job wrangling our family and bridal party and getting them together for photos, and was helpful at making sure we stayed on schedule. We were so happy with how our photos turned out and would definitely recommend working with Ivy!

Ivy was seriously amazing, and so fun to work with. She photographed our wedding in Denver last month and I was blown away with how well everything went and how great the photos turned out. Ivy is the absolute best!

My husband and I met Ivy at a Bridal Expo and I am beyond grateful that we did. From day one we knew instantly that she was the right choice for our wedding. We had a lot of chaos ensure with our wedding due to Covid restrictions. We changed our wedding to an elopement and then pushed our actual wedding date, Ivy was accommodating with every change along the way. When she shows up at the venue on our big day I was greeted with a big hug. Ivy has a way of making you feel like you’ve always known her. She’s like a best friend so the day. She captured every moment imaginable during our ceremony all without disturbing the ceremony. She’s like a photography ninja. When it came to group shots after the wedding, she was on the ball. We did all our family photos in less than 20 minutes and I have to tell you, she got every combination imaginable. Ivy doesn’t miss a beat. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, she is the best choice out there. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Amazing to work with + great photos

Ivy was exceptional to work with. I provided her with a timeline of events. She made sure we were on task and met all of the expected deadlines. I didn't have to worry about us getting behind. We provided her with a list of pictures and the order. She stuck to the order (again timeline management) and we got all of the pictures requested. She kept everyone in order and made sure it was done respectfully and professionally. When we received the photos' they exceeded our expectations. There were more pictures to choose from then we could have ever dreamed. She got multiple shots of each pose and a number of candid pictures as well. She was fun to work with and made it an amazing day. Couldn't not be happier with our choice to hire her.

Beyond amazing

Ivy was a true gift for our wedding!! Not only is her work incredible but she is amazing to work with! Very quick to respond and helpful with requests! The best photographer around!

Ivy is amazing in every way and I am so happy to have connected with her. She shot our engagement photos and wedding photos in 2015 and was so wonderful with my family. She went above and beyond, talking to the caterer, the videographer, the wedding planner at the venue, and was constantly making sure everything ran smoothly. She takes the most beautiful photos and makes everyone around her feel comfortable and at ease. Since then, we have taken another wedding photo shoot, holiday photos, family photos, even pictures with our crazy dog. She is our photographer for life and we are so grateful for her!

We LOVE The Pic Chick!

Ivy is an amazing photographer, and she's also someone you can count on to make your wedding day go as smoothly as possible. She's organized, talented and funny, and she knows how to stick to a schedule and make the most of every situation! It was so reassuring to have her there on our wedding day, not only because we knew we could trust her to take great photos, but also because she has a real knack for coordinating people. Ivy did an amazing job!

Ivy is amazing!! My husband and I both loved Ivy! Not only does Ivy take gorgeous pictures, she is just an awesome person to be around. Our whole experience with Ivy was nothing but positive, from our engagement shoot, to our wedding day Ivy did a fantastic job. The quality of her work and the prices she offers cannot be beat! She is a very hard worker and when you hire her to photograph your wedding you will also get a wedding coordinator, she will make sure the day runs smoothly. Ivy is amazing at listening to what her clients want and wowing them with the end result. We have only GREAT things to say about Ivy, The Pic Chick. She did both our engagement and wedding photos. We could definitely tell Ivy had lots of experience photographing as she made us feel comfortable behind the camera and knew exactly what was expected of a wedding photographer. She even went above and beyond many times during our day and definitely put at ease any worries or stress anyone could have had at the time. My husband Tom and I, LOVED LOVED LOVED Ivy!!! She is great and so talented! She is part photographer/counselor/ and mom :) Ivy is so calm, cool, and collected. I was a nervous wreck on my wedding day and Ivy calmed me down tremendously! But yes! She is an AWESOME photographer. I can honestly say when my husband and I were going through our engagement and wedding pictures there wasn't one photo we didn't like! My main concern when my husband and I were looking for a photographer is that we were comfortable with them because we wanted to look comfortable and natural in our photos. We hired Ivy for 6 hours on our wedding day, + an engagement photo session (included in her package). She took 200+ engagement photos and nearly 800 photos of our wedding. She gave us engagement photos in 1 1/2 weeks and wedding photos in 7 1/2.

Ivy's photos are BEAUTIFUL. She has a unique artistic eye. She is really fun, and genuinely excited to be photographing your event. She is also obviously a wedding veteran. She helped my husband with his boutonniere and pocket square, she found beautiful ways to incorporate the ribbons from our handfasting ceremony into photos, and she was super efficient at taking family portraits even with large groups. When I made it clear something was important to me, such as photos of our godson and our nerdy Star Wars cake topper, she listened and made sure to deliver.

If I could go back I would change only two things: I'd mention a few more things that were important to me so she knew to be sure to photograph them, and I'd pay for another hour or two of her time in order to get more AMAZING candids of wedding guests at the reception. Photos are forever, and Ivy has reasonable pricing and is completely worth the investment!!

Ivy was absolutely amazing, we loved her and I would give her a million stars over for her professionalism, character and just for being honest and down to earth!! Ivy was so much fun to work with, even Jeff was impressed and we had said several times over during our engagement and wedding photos, that Ivy makes it so "natural" that we sometimes forgot she was there!! My family was very impressed with her skills on our wedding day and how smooth everything went :)
Ivy even helped me when I saw my flowers and was disappointed, she rearranged them into something that I imagined! Some of my family/friends thought Ivy was also our wedding planner, with how much she pays attention to her surroundings as well. We couldn't have been happier with Ivy's services! She is upbeat and fun and effectively keeps things moving during family photos. When my hair fell out immediately after the ceremony, she flipped into hairdresser mode and gave me an entirely new professional looking hairstyle that actually stayed in place for the rest of the night! She experimented with color and lighting and indulged us in some of the more offbeat photos were requested. And while we've only seen the sneak peek from our wedding (5 days ago), I can tell you the composition is superb. We just can't say enough good things!!!

I could not be more pleased with our experience with Ivy as our wedding photographer. We are located outside of Omaha and communicated remotely up until the actual wedding day, but she was on the ball with organization up to that point and made sure we were fully prepared for everything. She was not afraid to take charge when it came to wrangling family members for group pictures (which we needed) and she knew what shots to get throughout the day. She was so concerned with making my experience as the bride as flawless as possible, and our pictures turned out better than I every could have hoped for. When I started looking for a photographer we were living in Arizona, but getting married in Nebraska. Ivy is wonderful to work with. She's energetic and keeps things moving so that photos are accomplished fairly quickly. She has creative ideas and is equally talented to photograph both traditional portraits and fun, less-traditional photos. All of the photos from both our engagement session and wedding are beautiful, and it was so fun to go through them and relive our day! Ivy was such a huge asset to our wedding, truly truly couldn't have had such a fun, perfect wedding without her. My husband and I didn't stress about one thing! The whole day goes by so quickly and it is so difficult to keep up with all that is happening around you so when you look back and see all of your beautiful pictures, somehow Ivy was able to capture all of those moments for you to forever cherish and still be by your side for every moment I had wanted a special photo....I really don't know how she did it all. Definitely recommend Ivy for any upcoming events you may have!

My husband and I planned a semi-last minute elopement and Ivy was able to accommodate our first choice for date and time. Her e-mail responses were fast and professional, and she answered all my questions. I found her prices to be very competitive (especially for the quality of photos!). She was great to work with on the day, was understanding when I was running a bit behind schedule, and had some great ideas for photos. Ivy was amazing to work with and I can see myself hiring her again when my husband and I are ready to begin expanding our family.

Ivy is just the best :) She has such a great personality she is more than willing to help you. She takes wonderful pictures at a quick pace so everyone can get to the party sooner. Ivy was so warm and friendly, it was such a pleasure to have her take our wedding photos and she really makes you feel so at ease on your big day that it feels like you have an extra friend there to help keep you calm and on point with the wedding details. I would most definitely recommend her and have friend's and family ask me for her card as they loved her work.

Ivy photographed our engagement and wedding, and was fabulous at it! She is so much fun to work with, and really helped us relax and enjoy our day. She not only photographed us, but she helped out with lots of things at the wedding and did a lot of running around for us. She's good at taking control of situations (and people) when they are getting a little out of hand. And the pictures are PERFECT! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! The Pic Chick is super talented and such a delightful gal! Her photographs were out of this world & we were so happy we chose to have her to capture our special wedding day! Ivy has such an eye for detail and talked to us like old friends! I was pretty self conscious & she made me feel so much more relaxed and it showed! Ivy aka The Pic Chick was incredible! The first time I met her, she charmed me with smiles, laughter, organization, beautiful portfolio, and enthusiasm. I was sold right then and there, contract signed. We conversed a few times leading up to my wedding day and every time, she responded promptly to questions, was so easy to get along with that i felt so calm and assured going into my Big Day! Ivy was early on-site to assess the venue to make sure it was possible to get every picture I had imagined. She was my breath of fresh air throughout the entire night! I couldn't have been more pleased. The pictures turned out so nice, and had such a variety to choose from. Definitely recommend The Pic Chick, she is the entire package!

This girl.. man. I have trouble putting into words how amazing she is. Spunky. Energetic. Down to Earth. Amazing. I absolutely loved her and will give her name to anyone needing pictures for anything for the rest of my life. She takes the most beautiful pictures and makes the smiles real. My 3 year old niece came up to her at one point and started touching her camera and she pulled it forward to let her look at it! She was very friendly and easy to talk to and work with. Couldn't have had better.

Ivy really is an amazing photographer! There were lots of things that went wrong the day of our wedding and it wasn't all I hoped it would be but our pictures are absolutely amazing. My husband and I are so thankful we went with Ivy for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. She is such a happy personality and kept us at ease the whole day. Oh my....what to say about The Pic Chick. Where to start. Ivy is such a sweetheart! My fiancee and I asked her to do some engagement/family photos and they all turned out far better than we anticipated. Our 8 year old son can sometimes be a bit antisocial when a camera comes out. When he fell into that mode Ivy was able to turn it around and make the session enjoyable for him. We received many smiling faced photos and personally, my favorite ones, were the stolen moments she caught. 4 photos of our son building up in laughter or our 5 year old twirling in her dress. They are simply priceless. She is sweet, fun and responded very quickly to any questions I had prior to our meeting. I'd recommend her to anyone and I know who we will be contacting in the future for any more family photos. I can't thank you enough, Ivy! Keep up the amazing work! You're awesome!!

The Pic Chick is the absolute best! Ivy is a very gifted photographer. My fiancé found her online and we both knew she was going to be our wedding photographer right after the initial meeting. Other photography businesses charged prices that were over the top. Ivy's prices are very reasonable and her quality is exceptional.

Our engagement photo session took place at a horse ranch. Ivy had never been there before but she took the initiative to look around for the best spots to photograph us. Those pictures came out so good that we used a couple of them on our save the date postcards.

With all the nerves and chaos on the day of the wedding, Ivy was a breath of fresh air. She eased our butterflies with her organization and efficiency. Plus, Ivy is so down to earth and fun to be around. When getting married, a plan is only as good as the crew you have to pull it off and The Pic Chick was and is the greatest! We received our picture CD shortly after the wedding day and we were so happy with the results. She definitely captured the magic of our wedding day and now we will have those memories forever.

The next time we need a professional photographer the only person getting the call is The Pic Chick!

Ivy was absolutely amazing to work with. From the first time I contacted her, she was professional and quick to respond to any messages. After meeting with her, I knew she was the right person to do our wedding. She had so many ideas, and was quick to tell me what would work and what wouldn't. Having her there for our wedding day made the experience so much better. She helped coordinate with the DJ, rounded up people for me, and even helped out with hair and other small things. The day of, she even took requests for photos from our guests and family - those shots mean the world to my grandmother. Fun, easy going, lighthearted, professional, attentive, and just to cute! I live in CA and my daughter was getting married in AZ, she didn't think she needed a photographer because her mom is a hobbyist photographer along with several friends and said you can just take pictures. I knew better! I scoured the internet for AZ Wedding Photographers, I went thru thousands of photos, I called and made appointments with 3, I pretty much knew Ivy was it from the first phone call, I met her and and canceled my other appointments. The long distance contact was easy and professional. My daughter didn't meet Ivy until the day of her wedding and there was instant chemistry. She was everywhere yet you never noticed her, Ivy is a dynamo, our DJ, said she was the best he'd ever worked with, she was always a step ahead of him getting people organized and where they needed to be. Ivy is A-MAZ-ING! She came highly recommended by a long time friend. I could not have been happier with her or the final product! Ivy has a great personality. I knew I liked her from our phone conversations; I met her in person for the first time on my wedding day. She is organized, efficient and quick quick quick. One of my bridesmaids, who just got married in August and used another photographer, said she was so much happier with the way my photo timeline went and how long they took; her wedding ran almost 45 minutes late. Our wedding was in Tucson, so my husband and I spoke with many local photographers for our wedding. We didn't like any of them! They were too expensive or low quality. So I continued the search and found Ivy in Phoenix. I gave her a call and immediately fell in love with her! We totally connected and she understood our needs and concerns. I never even met Ivy until my wedding day! We were blown away by her professionalism and her ability to have fun with us on our day. All of our guests were commenting on how she was so awesome! We just got our wedding photos back a couple of days ago and we are beyond impressed! We are 100% satisfied and she completely went above our expectations! We love Ivy! She's just so nice and sweet to work with. We contacted her with fairly short notice when our previous one went out of business and immediately had our engagement session!

When it came to our wedding she was wonderful. She took care of a few other wedding details that came up that was being overlooked, which was so nice!!

The photos, both times, came back just a few days later. So amazing! I've never liked my picture taken, and neither did my husband, until we met IVY. We have so many we look good in!!

We will be booking with IVY when we have a baby bump to photograph (hopefully next year!) and many other future events. Thanks IVY!! :)

Ivy was absolutely amazing! It felt like we had a friend doing the pictures for us because it feels like we've known her forever. Absolutely loved Ivy! She was creative, worked with what we wanted, and had the personality and enthusiasm to keep everyone smiling! She worked within our budget, and gave us as many pictures as she could within the timeframe we booked. Gave us our DVD of all of our pictures with no hassling, no up-selling, and within a reasonable amount of time. Overall, fantastic! I recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!
