We got married on Halloween! The Pavilion was very organized, and made everything run smoothly! Lauren was very responsive with all my emails, and kept us updated on COVID guidelines. Some of our guests even commented on how it was one of the few weddings they had been to, that started on time and was organized from start to finish. Due to COVID, we were not able to do a ceremony set-up, but instead had a banquet style set-up with the aisle still going down the middle. I was a little upset at first, but in the end it made the day less stressful, and made the room feel more completed with all our haunted decorations! We had the butternut squash ravioli, which was amazing, and our guests also loved the chicken parmesan! We also had the rehearsal dinner at The Machine Shed, and chose the pot roast and chicken alfredo, which was equally as good! Nick at The Machine Shed was also very responsive to our emails scheduling the rehearsal! I would recommend the Holiday Inn for an all-in-one wedding celebration! -

We can't thank Madelon, Lauren and their team for making our day truly amazing. They went far beyond my expectations and provided excellent professionalism. The minor errors that happened throughout the day were smoothed out by the team in a short period of time. The Pavilion at Lake Elmo is so beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better venue and great people to help make our wedding day perfect. Thank you so much for all your team did! PS. The Lake Elmo Chicken was PHENOMENAL!

I cannot say enough great things about The Pavilion and staff! We were initially looking at getting married in a barn but in our search we stumbled upon The Pavilion. From our initial tour with Lauren, we knew this was the space we wanted for our day! It has a cozy barn feel with enough decor that not much more is needed to make the space beautiful. Food and beverages were affordable and our guests raved about the food! Bartender was so friendly and fun as well. Communication with Madelon and Lauren was always prompt, kind, and they were so flexible/easy to work with. We had both our ceremony and reception in the space and we were so impressed with how seamless it was to set up everything, move guests for a cocktail hour to flip the room, and come back in to a beautiful space. If you are looking for a "one stop shop" for an easy, stress-free, seamless wedding day that you and your guests will love then The Pavilion is your place! -

The Pavilion was perfect for my wedding!! This was a great alternative to having the wedding in a barn. It did not break the bank and it brought the barn look and feel to my wedding!!! Definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! -

Absolutely Wonderful Wedding Reception Venue!
We enjoyed holding our Daughter's Wedding Reception at The Pavilion at Lake Elmo SO much that we scheduled our next daughter's Wedding Reception here as well! This Venue is lead by the "Dynamic Duo Team" of Lauren & Madelon, who both go OUT OF THEIR WAY to implement your wedding plan, including joyfully accommodating special requested items! The venue space itself is light, airy with a rustic feel, yet conveniently attached to a classy, reasonably-priced hotel, PERFECT for weddings with out of town guests! Extra special thanks to both Lauren & Madelon and their entire team of professionals to provide our family a wonderful venue with unique character while not breaking the bank! We HIGHLY recommend and are finally willing to let others know about it, now that our next daughter's wedding is already scheduled! LOL -

If I could give one word to describe my experience with the Holiday Inn and Suites it would be….”WOW”. As we were setting up for the event we met the wedding coordinator for the Holiday Inn, Madelon. We were immediately impressed on her knowledge of weddings and her desire to make this event for the bride and groom the best ever. There were quite a bit of moving parts during this event and she was always on top of everything and willing to help. Later in the evening we met Dawn, who I believe was the banquet manager, and let me tell you she was just as amazing as Madelon. One of the most impressive things that was done is flipping a room where the ceremony was taking place to become a room full of rounds for the reception. Besides Madelon and Dawn, I’d also like to recognize the cooks for some amazing food, and both bartenders for an amazing positive attitude all night long. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding reception, I highly recommend checking out the Holiday Inn and Suites in Lake Elmo. If I could give them a 10 star review I would.

We got married in November, 2018. The staff was super helpful throughout the entire process. I had so many unexpected questions come up during planning but Madelon was very responsive and very helpful. I felt welcome by all the staff at the hotel during our entire wedding weekend. I heard after the wedding that our guests ate all our appetizers right away, but the staff arranged for some more snack food the day of so our guests weren't hungry. The entire wedding planning process went smoother because of the staff at the pavilion! I highly recommend this venue! -

Wonderful venue! Can't say enough positive things!
We had a wonderful experience working with The Pavilion at Lake Elmo! I would recommend them a thousand times over to any bride! We did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there. Lauren and Madelon, the Pavilion coordinators, were both very easy to work with and responded back to emails in a timely manner. We were able to ask them questions and they would answer back in detail so we were fully informed. They are very knowledgable in weddings and even asked us questions that would have never crossed our minds in the planning process. Our day was beautiful and all the staff working did everything in their power to make sure we had a wonderful day! All the food is catered from The Machine Shed, which is attached to the building. Everything was so yummy and still hot when it arrived as plated dinners for my guests. We received so many compliments from our guest about the rooms atmosphere and the meal. I was very nervous about having to flip the room from a ceremony space to a reception space in an hour, but their team of people do it quickly and efficiently. My vision was upheld through the whole day! I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a rustic, indoor wedding space! Thanks to The Pavilion at Lake Elmo I was able to have my dream wedding! -

Not only was this venue the MOST AFFORDABLE venue around, they were so accommodating with us and made sure they got back to us asap whenever we had any questions! (And we had a lot!) The venue turned out just gorgeous and we could not of have a better day! Lets not forget that the hotel is attached to the venue - How much easier can it get for you and your guests?! Love them so much and will literally recommend them to any couple looking for an affordable & beautiful venue!

Katherine Sent on 05/14/2018We got married here 5/12/18 and couldn't be happier. Shannon and Madelon are absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. They took the time to get to know us, responded to my million emails so quickly, worked with us on our decorations and food, and their attention to detail made the whole day run so smoothly. They are there the day of helping decorate and coordinate walking in for the ceremony and reception, and you really can't find a better team than these two amazing ladies. The Pavilion is beautiful, everyone said the food was delicious, and everyone from the front desk staff to the banquet department to the woman working in the gift shop who helped me straighten the train on my dress make you feel relaxed and at ease; you are in such good hands with the entire team at the Holiday Inn. They really help make your day special and beautiful.

I was so impressed with how fast they were at getting back to phone calls/emails and made the whole night go so smooth. I was impressed how easy the transition from ceremony to reception went when they flipped the room. We couldn't have been happier with their hard work and service. They were also very flexible with some of our decor ideas. They definitely work very hard to make it your dream wedding. I would definitely recommend getting married at the Pavilion!!

We loved our wedding at the Pavilion. They have such a beautiful rustic space and delicious food on a budget. It required very minimal decorating as the space itself is beautiful. It's nice to have everything in one place too. We had our ceremony in the venue space, our cocktail hour downstairs, and then our reception again in the venue space. We absolutely loved working with Lauren. She keeps things short and to the point but makes sure that you are getting what you want.
The hotel is also beautiful and accomodating. You get a free room the night of your wedding.
The only negative I have is the getting ready situation kinda stinks. You have to rent a bridal suite, we ended up just renting a hotel room to get ready in. There really isn't a good space for the guys, they didn't care they just got ready elsewhere and drove in but it was crappy weather so it would have been nice for them to have space to get ready there.
But seriously, this place is beautiful and so affordable -- check it out! -

Lauren and Madelon made our wedding experience fantastic! They were always there to answer any questions we had, and never got annoyed with my constant emails a couple weeks before our wedding. Our family comments on the beauty of the space and the friendliness of the staff! Our wedding was great! -
Ashley Sent on 08/24/2018We had excellent service here at the pavilion for our ceremony & reception. Everyone loved the food (we did buffet style). Lots of space for our guest & we had just over 200! Lauren was so much help along with the rest of the staff. The only down fall to the event was the air conditioning broke down on the hottest day in June, but they were Beth generous & helpful through the whole situation & it was a little sweaty but still tons of fun! There were also so many great spots outside for photos! I am glad we chose The Pavilion!

Aly Sent on 08/17/2018Our families and friends were incredibly impressed with the food, we even heard from our photographer who has been to hundreds of weddings that the buffet was the best she had ever had at a wedding. We loved the shape of the room (almost perfectly square as opposed to a long conference hall) and the rustic feel with wood beams and felt that nobody would feel they were left in a corner. We were extremely pleased working with Lauren P and her team and would recommend this venue to everyone looking to host a wedding or any type of celebration. We fit about 200 comfortably and the staff was very amenable to our layout suggestions. All of our guests were pleased and impressed with the hotel stay as well and loved having the restaurant connected.

Kylie Sent on 08/11/2014I fell in love with this place for our reception as it had a classy but rustic feel. Communication was not great, went through 3 coordinators in the year we were planning and we're never informed. Our emails would come back invalid and we would have to call to find out what was going on. They did try to compensate us forthe stress and trouble. Food trial was not great either and we only liked one thing, the day of the wedding all our food choices had changed slightly and tasted different. While we hosted the bar drinks were $6 for pop to top shelf and we're small. The manager that took over after the coordinator left on our wedding day was very rude. We paid for the reception three days before and then we were charged for the whole thing again the day after. The day was beautiful and our guests were unaware of any trouble but not sure I would use them again knowing what we went through.
