We could of not been more happy picking The Orlo as our wedding venue! We knew the minute we toured it was perfect for us and we were sold that we did not want to get married anywhere else. There is so much that goes into selecting your wedding venue and The Orlo hit every aspect we wanted. We loved the bridal suite where my girls and I got ready the day of, the beautiful home and staircase, as well as the stunning ballroom that is separated. We loved that it was a blank canvas for us and we were able to do everything we wanted. This venue was dog friendly which was so important to have our pups with us! We were able to bring any vendor we wanted and they even allowed us to keep the party going until 1 AM which is so important for a Polish family and wedding party!! The staff at the Orlo were beyond amazing from the start of communication all the way to the end! All the staff we interacted with were so friendly, accommodating, and very responsive/flexible whenever we had a question and or needed something. The Orlo will always hold a special place in our heart forever! -

Had the best experience having our wedding at The Orlo. Jen and Shelby were great from start to finish, easy and quick communication. The venue itself is so beautiful and elegant and I love that it has some history. I also enjoyed being able to pick and choose all of my vendors which is a huge plus.The Orlo House & Ballroom's reply:

Being from Chicago and living in Florida for a year - it was important to my husband and I that we have a historic venue that spoke to the authenticity of our relationship. The Orlo was the perfect space for our wedding, it offered a unique space to say our "I Dos" and allowed for seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Our guests never needed to be herded around as the flow was natural and efficient. Bonus is that the bridal suite is gorgeous and spacious and the venue allowed us ladies to enter the space and start getting ready at 7a!!The Orlo House & Ballroom's reply:

The Orlo is hands down the best venue in Tampa Bay. This historical house and ballroom is beautiful and perfect for weddings. The bridal suite is a DREAM! Shelby was the person who showed me a tour when I first visited and my point of contact. She was amazing to work with and so kind.The Orlo House & Ballroom's reply:

Beautiful venue!
From the moment we stepped into the house to do our tour, we just KNEW this was our wedding venue!! It is beautiful, romantic, historic, and intimate! Our guests were mesmerized by the venue! We loved that the bridal and grooms party were able to get ready there, the cocktail hour featuring the grand staircase and fireplaces, and our reception was beautiful in the ballroom! The Orlo house has a special place in my heart! -

The Orlo is just absolutely stunning. Their staff are so helpful and responsive, all of my guests LOVED the uniqueness of the house with the ballroom compared to the traditional hotel ballroom or country club. The bridal suite is fabulous and the entire venue is a perfect blank slate to create the wedding of your dreams and bring your vision to life! It exceeded my expectations!!! -

The Orlo House is absolutely stunning! From the moment my fiance and I walked in the front door we knew we wanted to get married there. The house and ballroom have so much character. The bridal suite upstairs is gorgeous and I can't wait to get ready there! Shelby has been a dream to deal with. She is very sweet, attentive, and responds so quickly to e-mails, answering any questions you may have. I'm so excited and can't wait until October 2020!!The Orlo House & Ballroom's reply:

Our experience at The Orlo was absolutely AMAZING! We got married on September 4, 2020 after having to reschedule our original date due to COVID, and they were so flexible with us. We got married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had our reception at The Orlo and could not be happier with our experience!
Shelby was the main contact for us at The Orlo and she is the absolute sweetest, kindest, professional and helpful person! It was such a JOY to work with her and she made the entire process so easy, especially when having to reschedule during such a stressful time. She was always available to answer any questions we had and was always helpful. We could not have asked for a better event coordinator! Also, one of our vendors was short staffed due to COVID, and Gail and her daughter were able to step in last minute to help us and they were so sweet and amazing!
The Orlo was a perfect wedding reception venue for us because we wanted a space that was timeless, elegant, and charming. The Orlo provided exactly that! The historic home had so much charm and gave us that elegant, classic touch we were looking for. There is a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite upstairs and my bridesmaids and I were able to spend the whole day there getting ready. They have on-site valet parking which made it so convenient for our guests! Also, we originally had 140 guests which would have fit comfortably, however, when we rescheduled it was closer to 80 people. There was plenty of room for people to spread out and feel comfortable!
We can't imagine having our reception anywhere else. The Orlo was the absolute perfect fit for us and the whole process was so seamless. We could not recommend it more! Thank you to Shelby and everyone at The Orlo!

From the moment my husband and I stepped into the Orlo House we knew it was special. We wanted to have an indoor wedding with a vintage vibe near our apartment (in Channelside). The Orlo was the perfect venue from the interior of the house, the large get ready room, spacious ballroom and gorgeous staircase. We had the ceremony and cocktail hour inside the house and the reception in the adjacent ballroom. Shelby was amazing to work with all the way through to day of. The Orlo House and Ballroom was the most perfect venue for what we wanted. We went with an old Tampa themed wedding and it was spot on. Elegant, timeless and absolutely stunning. We held both our ceremony and reception there - the ballroom was the perfect ceremony/reception space. Our catering company flipped it during cocktail hour and it was stunning. The Orlo staff is wonderful as well - so attentive and able to work with anything you need. The Orlo team made everything so easy and beautiful for us. -
