Our wedding at The Oceanview of Nahant was truly the wedding of our dreams, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire team. From our first meeting through the final moments of our wedding night, every detail was handled with professionalism, care, and expertise. The staff made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our special day. Their organization, communication, and attention to detail were absolutely exceptional, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish.

The venue itself is breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, but what truly sets The Oceanview apart is its people. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that our guests were comfortable and that every aspect of the day exceeded our expectations. Oceanview of Nahant is AMAZING!!!

Our wedding was as perfect as we could have imagined it and all of the planning process and day-of was made so easy and effortless by the venue! All of the coordinators and staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Aside from that, the oceanfront views and facilities are amazing - one of the most popular comments from our guests was how beautiful the venue was. Everything is taken care of there and there are so many add-ons and packages offered to make your day exactly what you want. 12/10 recommend!

Perfect Day!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our son’s wedding than The Oceanview of Nahant on 3/28/26. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless.

The setting is simply breathtaking—right on the water, with stunning views that created the most beautiful backdrop for such a special day. Our guests are still talking about it! The food was exceptional—delicious, beautifully presented, and served seamlessly.

What truly made the experience stand out was the staff. Every single person was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The communication leading up to the wedding was clear and reassuring, and on the day itself, everything ran so smoothly that I didn’t have to worry about a single thing.

As a parent, that peace of mind is priceless. We were able to fully relax and soak in every moment, knowing we were in the best hands.

Everything i could have imagined and more

Everything about this venue, from start to finish, was perfect. They will be the vendor that you will worry least about throughout this process. From the beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and patient with all the questions I had. As planning became progressively more stressful, the whole team made themselves available for questions, phone calls, meeting as needed etc. They are incredibly attentive, professional, kind, and patient. On the day of my wedding..my coordinators were truly exceptional..they were so sweet, the best hype women, and organized in every possible way. Though my husband and I chose an off season date, the venue was BEAUTIFUL. I was beside myself when I got the first peek of the space...it was romantic, cozy, and just so beautiful. They accommodated 160 people without issue and for the size of our group, the price point was beyond reasonable..enough so that we were able to spread our budget out a bit across food, extra features, etc. I have truly nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and it's employees. It is well worth every penny and I cannot recommend it enough to prospective couples.

Amazing!! Highly recommend - guests are still raving

We absolutely fell in love with Oceanview the moment we walked in. Even on a snowy December day, the ceremony and reception spaces were breathtaking. The team was amazing to work with — friendly, knowledgeable, and always quick to communicate. Their planning portal made everything seamless, and our day-of coordinators kept everything running perfectly behind the scenes.
The venue itself is stunning: beautiful ceremony space, a fun bar area with great photo spots, and a reception room that sparkles with water views and mirrors. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the atmosphere, food, and cocktails. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married!!!

A Dream Come True

Look no further - this is the place! From the moment we started touring wedding venues, we fell in love with the Oceanview of Nahant. We started looking back in February and March of 2024. When we first visited, we met Allison. She was so professional and made us feel so welcomed immediately. We knew we had to get married here and decided on October 17, 2025. Throughout those months leading up to the wedding, Oceanview kept us regularly updated with helpful tips. In December, we got to experience their Grand Tasting Event which was a great preview of their delicious food and drink options. We got matched to Claire as our coordinator. She was so great to work with, quick to answer any questions that came up and so accommodating! We also so appreciated her recommendations for transportation, especially when our initial vendor fell through - one of Claire’s recs was able to supply us with transportation at the last minute! All of the vendors recommended by Oceanview were incredible - we worked with Chris from 26 North Studios and Erica at Blooms of Boston, we would highly recommend both. We also loved our DJ, Peter from NuImage Entertainment - again, highly recommend! The wedding itself was a dream come true. We felt supported every step of the way and truly had nothing to worry about. Claire and Ralph were our day-of coordinators and ensured everything ran smoothly. We truly got to enjoy our day. Everyone who works here is a professional and will make sure you feel well taken care of. We both said over and over how it was the best day ever. I wish we could relive it again and again. Our guests were equally impressed by the venue - between the absolutely breathtaking beach terrace where we had our ceremony, to the stunning ballroom inside, to the back patio where we had our last dance - every inch here is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed. I hope I get to come back to this venue as a guest because it is truly the best place to get married - and we’ve been to a LOT of weddings!

Oceanview of Nahant — a ceremony view straight out of a movie

We chose Oceanview of Nahant because the ceremony spot literally took our breath away. Standing on the bluff with the ocean stretching behind us felt cinematic—so many friends and family told us it looked “just like a movie.” It’s romantic in a way that stays with you long after the day ends.

Why we picked this venue (beyond the view):
When we were venue shopping, we learned a quick Boston reality check: if you want an easy-to-reach location downtown (not necessarily with a view), packages often start around $40k for food and beverage and can go way up from there. It felt like no matter what budget you have, the venue alone could swallow half of it. In that context, Oceanview of Nahant offered a compelling value for its location and that spectacular oceanfront backdrop. It gave us the setting we dreamed of without the “no ceiling” downtown price tag.

Planning experience (I did it myself!):
I planned our wedding on my own, so the vendors I chose mattered a lot. Oceanview of Nahant made the process feel manageable and—dare I say—enjoyable. Any time I had a question, I emailed our coordinator and got quick, clear, and professional replies. Communication was consistent, expectations were set, and I always felt like they were one step ahead.

Day-of support:
On the wedding day, we had two coordinators assigned to us. They kept us on schedule, checked in at the right moments, and quietly handled the details so everything ran smoothly. Because of them, we actually got to be present—laugh, cry, soak in that view—and not worry about logistics.

Bottom line:
If you’re dreaming of an oceanfront ceremony close to Boston—and you want responsive, professional support throughout planning—Oceanview of Nahant is an easy recommendation. I’d choose it again in a heartbeat. Our photos are stunning, our guests are still talking about the view, and the whole experience felt seamless from start to finish.

August 15 Wedding

We had our wedding at Oceanview of Nahant on August 15, 2025, and it was truly everything we imagined and more! From start to finish, the team made the planning process seamless. Claire, Allison, and Ralph were incredible to work with—especially Claire, who guided us through the entire process and always answered our emails and questions almost immediately. Their organization and attention to detail made the day flow perfectly, and we never had to worry about a thing.

The food and drinks were outstanding, and we heard so many compliments from our guests. The bartenders kept the lines moving quickly, so there was never a backup at the bar. The after party was such a fun way to end the night—it gave us and our guests the chance to really celebrate and soak it all in.

We had the absolute best time, and Oceanview of Nahant made our wedding day everything we hoped it would be. We are so grateful to the entire team and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a breathtaking setting and an amazing, stress-free experience.

Our Wedding

We got married at the Oceanview venue this July 2025. It is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue with gorgeous views and decor. Overall, everything ran smoothly and our wedding was a dream. The food was great, staff attentive, and all of the add-on options are incredible. We added on the Firepit Finale at the end and it was such a great decision. The wedding planning portal and built-in check in schedule with event coordinators were incredibly helpful in the planning process. The only blemish on a near perfect experience was the many changes in event coordinators we worked with. We began with one assigned to us, switched to another a month or so before the wedding whom we had our final meeting with and went over all of our plans, but then had one whom we had never met before run our rehearsal, and then we had a completely different coordinator that we had not met before on our actual wedding day. This did cause some slight stress/ anxiety as the wedding day approached. We feel this aspect could have been communicated to us more clearly throughout the process so our expectations on the day were aligned. That said, the coordinators did do an awesome job on the day. We would highly recommend this venue to others.

Wedding of Our Dreams

We just had the wedding of our dreams at Oceanview of Nahant and we recommend anyone considering getting married in the Boston area to run to this venue! We toured many venues in the greater Boston area and NONE of them came even close to the excellence of the Oceanview of Nahant. Here are the things we loved most:

- The Beauty - You just cannot beat a back-drop like the ocean, and Oceanview has it in spades. The options for photography, including the ocean and the nearby greenery at Bailey Hill and Kelley Greens golf course is plentiful. This place is a photographer's dream.
- The Customer Service - From our first visit all the way to our wedding day, the level of customer service we experienced is unlike any other. We worked with Allison and Claire throughout the process and both were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and had immense attention to detail. We once sent Claire an email with 15+ questions and she responded an hour later with answers to all of them. We cannot say enough great things about the staff. They are kind, smart, and skilled.
- The Options - There are so many options to customize your day, depending on what you want. We took advantage of the Firepit Finale (which offers an after-party on the pebble beach, with s'mores and corn hole) and it was an amazing way to cap off our evening. We also had the ice cream sundae/milkshake bar, and our guests raved about it!

We cannot recommend this venue enough and we will always remember the huge role Oceanview of Nahant played in our love story. Thank you to this unbelievable team of people — you exceeded our expectations in every single way!

Beautiful and professional venue!

Highly recommend Oceanview of Nahant! The venue itself is beautiful. They are super organized and they do so many weddings that they have it down to a science. The food was incredible (honestly we liked it much better than the food from the tasting event), and it was incredibly helpful to have the day-of coordinators making sure we stayed on schedule and getting us anything we needed. Two special elements that I think are unique to Oceanview: 1) We loved the last dance on the beach as a special way to end the reception and 2) the "firepit finale" (firepits and smores on the beach after party add-on). If you want a beautiful venue that has already thought out all the details so that you don't have to stress as much, this is it!

An amazing wedding planning experience from start to finish

Sami and her staff were an absolute pleasure to work with! We had a wonderful experience planning our daughter’s wedding from the first meeting with Caitlin and then working with Sami. They took the guesswork out of everything and took away any feelings of being overwhelmed with the wedding planning process. Sami handled every detail efficiently. Her experience and organizational skills were invaluable. Each meeting was relaxed and fun! Our emails with questions to Sami and staff were always answered promptly and they never rushed us. Sami’s guidance was so appreciated by us when it came time to plan the menu and bar service. She did not miss one detail of the ceremony and timeline of the wedding. Sami and her staff were extremely attentive to the wedding and all of the guests. And they did it all with a smile. I wish I had another wedding to plan there!! Breathtaking Venue and Exceptional Service

We truly cannot say enough good things about the Oceanview of Nahant. We got married there on the Fourth of July, and the venue was absolutely perfect. We initially fell in love with the stunning location and view, but what really blew us away was the professionalism and warmth of the entire team.

The day felt seamless from start to finish. The Oceanview team helped with so many details—setting up, keeping us on schedule, and creating a clear timeline—which made the planning process feel surprisingly hands off for us. On the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch.

The food was incredible, and we had such a fun time doing a tasting date night at the venue earlier in the year. A special shoutout to our personal coordinator, Allison, whose upbeat energy and expertise made a huge difference. She navigated our crowd perfectly, checked in with us throughout the night, and made sure we were well taken care of and able to enjoy every moment.

Brunch time wedding at the Oceanview of Nahant

Oceanview of Nahant truly has it all! The venue is absolutely beautiful and they help make the wedding planning process easy. Additionally, all of the decisions felt digestible and easy to make. EVERY member of their wedding planning team was amazing, helpful, and so easy to get along with. We honestly left there feeling we were friends with each and every team member that helped make our special day a reality. I cannot recommend this venue enough and we have had nothing but compliments about the Oceanview from friends and family since we had our wedding! Their options for smaller and larger weddings as well as some unique New England offerings make the venue such a great option for couples. As an LGBTQ+ couple we always felt welcomed, represented and safe while planning our wedding.

Beautiful venue, amazing coordinators!

We are so glad we chose Oceanview of Nahant as our wedding venue! From the very start of planning until the end of the wedding Sami was amazing and super helpful! I had a lot of questions and she was able to answer every single one in a timely response! Not to mention she is always so positive and happy to help, so it’s very refreshing when you’re stressed with wedding planning! The rest of the coordinators seemed to be the same way and were always friendly in the few interactions we had, so no matter which coordinator at Oceanview you get assigned to, you will be impressed! Not to mention the venue itself is gorgeous! Everyone was talking about the view and even the design of the ballroom and bar. All of it is very up to date and beautiful! The minute my husband and I toured, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here! The food was also very good and they had many gluten free, vegetarian, and pescatarian options. Would 10000% recommend Oceanview!

Best Wedding Coordinators Ever!!

What an absolutely amazing team and venue! From the start of the planning phase, Claire was super friendly and quick to respond to my many questions. I felt very supported and informed throughout the planning process, and on the day of the wedding, my entire family felt we could put our trust in Claire and Ali. They were so professional, and they knew everything about everything. They asked us questions that involved us in the experience to an extent, without overwhelming us, and ensured our day was as we had hoped. The venue itself is still the talk of our families. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony with the beach background and a gorgeous flow from the cocktail hour into the reception; it was awesome. The space for dancing was excellent, which provided numerous photo opportunities. I could go on and on about how amazing this team is. Being from Boston, this still actually felt like a destination wedding. If you're wondering where to get married and you're into classy modern fairy tales, this is where you need to be.

Best Wedding Ever

Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams, thanks to the expertise of the dedicated employees of Oceanview. From the moment we saw their website, we knew it was a special place. A Beautiful December Wedding

Staff was very easy to work with and incredibly professional. They really held the multiple details and kept everything just as planned.

The venue is beyond beautiful! Everyone who walks in catches their breath at he spectacular view! The room was plenty big enough for 110 people to dance and chat.

Gorgeous venue

From the moment we arrived and saw the stunning views of the water to the nautical themed venue, we both fell in love with this beautiful space and knew this spot was the one for us.

Your staff members worked incredibly hard to ensure no detail was spared and everything was just as we had asked for (and imagined it would be). Special thanks to our wedding coordinators, Ally, Sami, and Caitlin who guided us through the entire process and made sure all aspects from the food, setup, and rehearsal were seamless.

The venue is perfect for a small to medium sized wedding (we had 120 guests). The food was amazing and all our guests were happy with the selections that were chosen and portion sizes. The seafood was delicious, (Broiled Scallops/Bacon, Lobster salad rolls, shrimp boat, filet & lobster tail duet).

The experience provided was amazing and we would highly recommend this venue to any of our friends, family, and prospective couples looking at this spot.

September wedding

The oceanview was our first venue we toured and we immediately fell in love. We had Allison as our coordinator and cannot thank her enough! Her patience with us and commitment to detail throughout the entire planning process was outstanding!! She and the Oceanview staff are truly amazing and love what they do. They made sure every single detail was accounted for, even the small details we didn’t even think of. We cannot thank everyone at the ocean view enough for making our day so perfect and special for us!!

Best Venue. Best day of our lives!

Best day of our lives! Oceanview was able to provide the wedding of our dreams. We used their small but mighty package and would absolutely do it all again. From top notch service to the beauty of the space it was incredible. Sammy was so patient and kind. Both day of coordinators brought the energy and went above and beyond. Running around to make sure everything was perfect and we were happy. They have a system and it works to put together the best weddings. We were a budget friendly package and they NEVER ONCE made us feel like we weren't just as important as someone not using a package deal. Every vendor they suggested was spot on. We went with both Chris for our photographer and Pure Entertainment for the DJ and they both were amazing. 10/10 the best day of our lives started and ended with Oceanview. I would want to have a party there again one day or just go to another wedding there. The food is fantastic, the drinks are fun and yummy, and the space provides so many picture perfect moments. Every guest had a great time and commented on how amazing the space was. We would love to come back again!

The Perfect Wedding

Oceanview is an amazing place to get married! The venue is beautiful inside and out. The attention to detail in all the rooms shows the staff really put a lot of effort into it. The staff was welcoming and accommodating at all times especially during the big day. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get married by the ocean.

The Best Venue EVER!!!

Of all the venues we looked at, not a single one could even come close to the beauty of the Oceanview of Nahant! All of the coordinators are amazing and did everything they could to make our day perfect! Our point of contact was Caitlin and she was amazing in every way! The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s even more gorgeous in person! All of our guests were in love with this place! I’m sure it will be the topic of conversation for many years to come! The food was also amazing!!! If you’re looking for a venue to remember, this is the place for you! Thank you Oceanview of Nahant!

Oceanview of Nahant

The Oceanview of Nahant made my wedding day everything I ever imagined and more. They gave me the wedding day I always dreamed of. They were so good throughout the entire planning process of answering all my questions and getting back to me quickly. There wasn't a question they couldn't answer. They were great at recommending different vendors and giving suggestions as well. Our coordinator, Allison Donahoe was so incredible to work with and the day would not have been the same without her. We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue and the food. The food was phenomenal and people could not stop talking about it. I would recommend this venue to not only anybody who wants to have a wedding on the water but anyone in general! Words alone do not do this place justice. I wish I could relive this day all over again

I am the mother of the bride. We could not have been any happier with Oceanview of Nahant. From the very beginning the staff was amazing.

The night of the wedding was done to perfection. I would recommend this vendor to any young couple getting married. The coordinator, servers and bartenders with awesome and very attentive and the food was excellent.

Absolutely Perfect in Every Way!

We held our event at the Oceanview last weekend and the entire experience was fabulous from our first consultation through the end of our event. Every staff member was incredibly detail-oriented, professional, and personable. We received emails along the way to keep us on track, especially in the days prior to our event. I was so happy that they had a procedure for dropping off the centerpieces and other decorations a few days early and they did a marvelous job following all of my instructions for setting up. At the end of the event, my centerpieces and other items were carefully packed up and loaded into the car. The food was OUTSTANDING and the wait staff was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the Oceanview at Nahant!

Best Team and Venue in the North Shore of MA!

From our initial meetings to our wedding day, the staff at Oceanview of Nahant did an incredible job at helping us with our every need. They were more an accommodating when it came to all of the things we wanted to make sure were present. We loved how detail oriented the entire staff was throughout the whole process. The space itself is just amazing, but it’s really the people that make it that much better. Best day of our lives!

Oceanview was the only venue that we looked at for our wedding! We knew we wanted to be oceanside, but all of the other venues (while just as beautiful) were not right on the water or didn't fall into our price point. From our first meeting at OV to our wedding day, the staff here made everything we could have possibly dreamed of come true! Every question that we had was answered or problems solved and we couldn't have asked for better partners in planning our big day! The venue is stunning and perfect for seaside photos. Our wedding was outdoors and we had the bubbly welcome package with bubbles released once we were married. Everyone raved about how gorgeous the ceremony was, how friendly the staff were, and how beautiful the space was overall. The natural lighting from the floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom is unmatched... it truly creates a dream space! We went very minimal on decor and flowers because of how naturally beautiful the venue is on its own. We had so many of our guests talk about how it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding. We did the chicken piccata, baked haddock, and mushroom ravioli. For appetizers, we had the short rib quesadilla, arancini, and bacon wrapped scallops. Everything was perfect! Our drinks were never empty and the timeline of our day was seamless because of their exceptional attention to detail. I would 10000% recommend this venue to anyone who asks! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much to everyone at Oceanview for making sure our September wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more.

Incredible Venue & People

There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible the entire staff at Oceanview of Nahant is!!! My husband and I had the wedding of our DREAMS on 11/3/23 and Allison, along with all of the other staff there, stopped at nothing to make sure that we were always happy, (very well) fed, and enjoying the night! Throughout the entire planning process, I could reach out with any question and I was guaranteed to receive a response within an hour. They made every accommodation necessary to make sure my mother in law, who is wheelchair bound, was able to move from each area of the venue without any issues AND they joyfully accepted all of my decorations and followed the way that I envisioned them to look with such perfection. Not only is the venue the most BEAUTIFUL place to have your wedding, but the people there make it ten times better!!! I wish I could get married there over and over again just because it was the most amazing day and I never wanted it to end! THANK YOU to Allison and everyone there for being the absolute BEST people and the BEST venue ever. We will cherish our day forever!

Amazing views and amazing services

The Oceanview of nahant was such an amazing venue. From the whole wedding process and planning all the way to the ceremony. They were always so easy to communicate with, so accommodating, and always there to answer all my questions. They made the whole process of planning a wedding so easy and straightforward. Perfect venue

This venue is the perfect combination of elegant and seaside. From the incredible food, to the experienced staff & coordinators, this venue is a finely tuned machine. The views are absolutely unbeatable and the space is so wonderful. They KNOW weddings!! You get so much support, love, encouragement and happiness through Oceanview. Every time I visited for a tour or food tasting right up to the final meeting, I felt reinforced EVERY time that we picked the absolute perfect place for us to get married. There are multiple spaces for guests to hang out and plenty of room on the dance floor - even with 160+ guests! Everything was taken care of and it was a spectacular event - largely In part due to Allison's amazing efforts. Our day was perfect and if you want to be stress free- book the OV!

Magical Day

I am so happy with all of the memories we made that day. It is filled with love, excitement, and so much dancing! They were so kind to all of my requests, and truly cared that my husband and I had a wonderful celebration. I am so thankful we found this venue!! A Dream Come True

From start to finish this venue has been a dream. The initial virtual meeting was super informative, so we opted to meet in person. My husband fell in love with the venue and didn't want me to look any further. Upon discussing dates and our budget, they were able to offer suggestions which made it helpful and added less stress. Their transparency on what to expect, what items they have to offer, and all of the options they have was what made the process seemless and exciting. We tried to surprise our guests with as little details as possible and the venue did not disappoint. Our guests said the food is the best they've ever had, the views were breathtaking, and the service top notch. We want to come back often for our anniversaries and parties ❤️😁

Best Day at the Oceanview

Our wedding day at the Oceanview was nothing short of perfect! Everything about the venue is clean, up to date, and gorgeous. The new lounge gives it a more modern and chic vibe, but still ties in perfectly with the ocean-view theme. Allison and the rest of the staff are so easy to talk to and quickly responded to any and all questions that I had. They also recommended our photographer- Chris Connor from 26 North Studios- who is simply amazing. Allison got on the phone with me when needed and the online portal is very easy to use. In the final weeks prior to my wedding, Allison and Sammi were so helpful and made sure that they understood how I wanted all of my decor set up and helped us make final selections for our meals, etc. The day-of, not one person bothered me with any questions and everything ran smoothly. Ralph was our day-of concierge and we probably would have been lost without him! He looked out for us, made sure we had food and drinks, took care of my bouquet, and guided us throughout the night. From when we should say hi to our guests, to the dances with our parents, Ralph was on-top of everything and made sure we were where we needed to be. He even had the staff wrap up my food for me when I wasn’t able to finish it. On your wedding day it is SO important to have nice, personable people looking out for you and that is exactly what the Oceanview does for you. I highly recommend ending the night with a last dance on the beach and their Fire Pit Finale. It is something totally different that your guests will remember and gives you more time to be able to relax and hang out with your guests. On top of all that, the food was AMAZING and our friends and family are still raving about how delicious everything was. Thank you to the Oceanview to hands-down the most perfect day

The perfect day thanks to Oceanview!

We are in absolute awe of how perfect our wedding day was thanks to the Oceanview of Nahant! From the moment we walked into the venue during our first visit, as overwhelming as picking a venue can we be, we knew this was the location we wanted to get married. A modern space with a beautiful view and an onsite ceremony space - what more could we ask for? Moving forward; contracting, detailing, and of course execution all went seamlessly. Throughout the entire process we were blown away with the level of service Oceanview provided. They truly have the entire process down to a science! Allison was beyond amazing replying to our endless questions and easing our nerves with all the little details. Along with her team, our wedding night went off without a hitch and we are still day dreaming about it! Not to mention the incredible food! We have received nothing but raving reviews from all guests about how delicious everything was. Excellent experience

We cannot say enough great things about Oceanview. My husband and I expected the process of wedding planning to be super stressful. However, the staff at Oceanview made our experience so smooth and easy. Allison helped us at our final meeting and with any questions we had or anything we wanted to change and was so quick to respond. You can tell the staff goes beyond to make sure your wedding day is exactly how you want it. Claire was so kind and very helpful the day of our rehearsal and the day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The coordinator we worked with, Ally, had such a positive attitude and helped guide us through the night so it ran very smoothly. Perfect Venue

I don’t even know where to start with reviewing how incredible Oceanview of Nahant was as a wedding venue! From the very first meeting with Allison to tour the venue to the very last moment of our wedding, Oceanview was unbelievable. The venue is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, but the true best part is the coordinators who make the whole process easy, fun, and exciting. Everything was perfectly planned for us. Oceanview had thought of everything to make our day perfect. Lish was a fantastic coordinator leading up to our wedding day and during the event. Lish and Claire thought of everything the day of and made the whole day flawless. We also had a ton of fun at the grand tasting event we went to for planning our menu. We did a Saturday day-time wedding and the pricing was great. You truly cannot get a more breathtaking view for your ceremony and reception. Best staff & amazing food and views

We got married here in May 2022. What an amazing experience from start to finish! Our coordinator, Ally, was a dream to work with and so reliable, friendly and communicative. She always answered my questions promptly over email and kept us on track and was so patient. The actual wedding day ran so smoothly and guests marveled at the great venue choice and stunning views. Everyone loved the wide selection of food, which was delicious, and high quality bar and service. Buffet stations were a big hit as were the signature drinks. We loved the private cocktail hour as well and the appetizers drinks in the VIP suite. Lastly, the staff was also so accommodating and let us move up the timeline slightly as the night started to slow down. We could not have asked for a better experience or more professional & kind staff. 10/10 for the stunning ocean views, food, tailored service and professionalism. Thank you to the whole team for our amazing day!

Best Decision

Thank you Oceanview and especially Caitlin, our wedding coordinator, for making our special day absolutely perfect! We booked the small but mighty package for our intimate ceremony on the terrace and it couldn’t have worked out any better. Caitlin was SO responsive and always super friendly and patient with us answering our 5 million questions. The day of they were all ready to go and made everything absolutely stress free and seamless. Booking this venue was the best decision we could have made for our big day. Amazing Experience - Worth the Hype!

I just got married at the Oceanview last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I had heard so many good things about this venue but nothing could have prepared me for the exceptional service and attention that they paid to me and my fiancé throughout the planning and wedding process. They truly take care of everything and make you feel like a guest at your own wedding. Allison and Ally were amazing throughout the whole process and made everything run smoothly. I could not have made it to the altar without them!

Stunning venue

This venue was our dream wedding venue. We wanted a beach wedding, and the minute we laid eyes on this place we knew the search was over! Every single staff member was so personable and professional, and we cannot thank them enough for all of their help. The food was incredible, every guest says it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! The views are unmatched, and they’ve thought of every tiny detail when it comes to decor. And their preferred vendor list is phenomenal! We cannot say enough positive things about this venue!

The best venue!

Everyone at the Oceanview was super attentive and made sure our big day was everything we were hoping for! The venue itself is breathtaking and has a really fun vibe. We wanted somewhere where we could have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place, and the Oceanview was the perfect place for that. The food and drinks were delicious and the venue also provided our cake, which was really good too! The planning experience was fun and seamless, and I love how many options the venue had to choose from!

Beautiful venue!

Hands down the best venue ever! We looked at another venue before the Oceanview and it was okay. The second we pulled up to the Oceanview we fell in love! They have been so supportive of everything and amazing! When Covid hit and we had to postpone they were beyond kind! They were great with communicating! Everyone loved the venue and the food is phenomenal! The views are breathtaking and I love how you can have everything there from the ceremony to the reception! And the fact that you can have a whole bridal suite to get ready in is absolutely perfect and helps so we’ll with the craziness of the wedding day! I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Gorgeous Seaside Venue!!

Where do I even begin...

We looked at only one wedding venue in person back in the summer of 2018. We booked it officially 2 days after the venue tour. The Oceanview of Nahant is a hidden paradise in Nahant, MA that is completely private on a beautiful rocky beach. The staff at the venue goes above and beyond from that very first time you tour to the final goodbye at the end of your wedding day.

Our coordinator throughout the entire planning process was the lovely Allison and she was incredible. We are a covid couple, our original wedding date was 8.8.20 and in July of 2020, we made the difficult decision to postpone due to the pandemic. Allison was there to help with anything we needed and she made the postponement process as seamless as possible. She spent many hours with me on the phone and sent countless emails to answer all the questions and concerns I had.

Yesterday (8.8.21) we finally had our wedding celebration and wow, the team at the Oceanview did an absolutely incredible job. From the moment of arrival, Erica, Lish, Mike, the bartenders, all the staff on site that day made sure we were happy and ready for the big day. They kept the drinks flowing, the food hot, the dance floor clean. We were asked consistently if we needed anything and we just couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. Our guests raved about the raw bar, the signature drinks, the clambake menu, the photo booth and everyone was shocked and excited about the ice cream truck being on site at the end of the reception!

We couldn't be happier with how the day turned out. I would HIGHLY recommend the Oceanview to anyone looking for a beautiful seaside New England wedding venue.

Phenomenal!

RALPH AND CAITLIN WERE ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! The entire staff is amazing but for my actual wedding day, Ralph and Caitlin took care of us. They were on top of everything and made things as seem less as possible for my husband and I. The food was INCREDIBLE!! We have a huge mixed family which is tough to get everyone to say the food was great, so the fact that everyone loved this food WAS HUGE WITHIN ITSELF!!! We truly truly loved it here and they worked so kindly and well with me considering that our wedding had to be cancelled from last year due to Covid. I highly recommend this staff and location! The Location was beautiful to say the least and I am just so grateful that everything went as well as it did!!! THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF!!!

Best day of our lives

My husband and I got married at Oceanview of Nahant on June 5, 2021. It was the best day of our lives, but leading up to this wedding was a little crazy because of COVID. My husband and I struggled with the decision of moving our wedding and losing our date. Our wedding coordinator, Allison, worked with us to keep our date in addition to saving a winter date in 2022 at no additional cost, which was so beyond generous of her. However, we got extremely lucky with the guidelines lifting the week before our wedding and being able to have our full wedding on June 5th. Allison worked with us throughout all the decisions and guideline changes to make us feel fully informed and prepared for what our June 5th wedding would look like. She also dealt with several requests from my family, including having a wine wall, champagne wall, and 2 signature drinks! She also helped place all of our homemade centerpieces the day of the wedding at no additional cost. In addition to Allison, you have the whole Oceanview staff behind you. We worked with many coordinators during the rehearsal and the day of, and they were all incredible. They made our day easy and fun, and they always had the biggest smiles on their faces! Other things I think are worth mentioning include the complimentary tasting you get to help decide on food choices for the wedding (it's really fun, you get open bar and food and get to see a bunch of the couples that will be getting married that year). BTW, the food was INCREDIBLE. We highly recommend doing their grilled cheese station during cocktail hour - everyone at our wedding was raving about it. Also, the surf and turf options were a huge hit and not significantly higher prices than the other meal options. We did the lobster and filet - the lobster was perfectly presented (I was nervous I'd be flying juices on my dress but it was perfectly placed within the shell with no additional work for the guests) and the filet was perfectly cooked. I also want to mention the fact that you can pay for an additional hour the night of your wedding to go outside on their stone beach for s'mores, beer, wine, and continued dancing. My husband and I got to do our last dance outside with our guests surrounding us with sparklers which I'd never seen before - something super special :) I know I'm forgetting so many things to mention, but just know that you will be taken care of by Oceanview and they will make your day one you will never forget. For those at OV reading this, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, WE REALLY DID HAVE THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES :)

An absolute dream venue!

We fell in love with the Oceanview the first time we set foot on their property! The venue is unbelievably beautiful, their decor is perfect, the staff is amazing, the food is fantastic, and they are all just so kind and attentive! They really know how to make couples feel welcomed, special, and heard! We absolutely cannot recommend them enough!

Oceanview of Nahant is amazing!

The Oceanview of Nahant is truly amazing. Everyone on the team is professional and full of energy, and they truly have their wedding planning craft perfected. The water side ceremony space and inside reception space are immaculately planned and detailed, and everyone has been through hundreds if not thousands of weddings of all different types. All our questions during the planning process were quickly and thoroughly answered, and all the day of logistical details ran smoothly without us having to worry about anything. Our wedding planner also remarked The Oceanview of Nahant "just does things right", and I can't think of any higher praise. The guests also loved the seafood lobster clambake.

Dream venue

Our wedding day, although not what we'd originally planned, turned out perfectly thanks to the staff at the Oceanview. We got married this past July, when rules and restrictions were changing weekly due to COVID. But despite the uncertainty, the staff still seamlessly and professionally helped us alter our 180 person ceremony down to 50 people family-only. We were thrilled we were able to still get married on the Oceanview property, the view and atmosphere they have is stunning and feels so private. Upon arriving the morning of my wedding and from that moment on, Matt made sure everything ran smoothly, and was so dependable and helpful. It truly felt like everything was under control and I could breathe and relax and focus on what mattered. Even leading up to the ceremony and pre-COVID we were so happy with the customer service we received. Allison was so helpful and knowledgeable when we first toured the property and was efficient and friendly in all her communications following. I really can't recommend the Oceanview enough, my husband and I are so thrilled we chose them for our special day.

Amazing place!

This setting is amazing and the people are great. I didn't have to think for a second on my wedding day, they had everything covered and told me whenever I needed to be somewhere. Food was amazing, lots of compliments. Outside tent was great as well. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Day

The staff at Oceanview made my day even more special than I could have ever imagined. Matt and Caitlin didn’t overlook a single detail, they made my family feel so welcomed and made wedding planning during a pandemic seem like a breeze. They accommodated everyone of my requests and made all my visions come to life ten times better than what I expected. Such a great staff!

Caitlin and Allison, along with the whole Oceanview staff, made our wedding day truly amazing! With COVID changing our plans so frequently, we were able to have a micro-wedding. They made it easy to plan from a 200 person wedding to 40, and were super accommodating through the whole process. Even when I got sick during the reception, Caitlin and Allison were quick to make last minute changes and it went so smoothly! I am beyond thankful for their hard work, they’re terrific!!

Absolutely perfect

My wedding day could not have been any more perfect thanks to the entire staff at the Oceanview. Matt (the manager) was amazing! He was there every step of the way planning, going above and beyond answering every single question and concern I had. Both Caitlin’s were amazing with setting up a tasting for us and getting us though a very quick and easy rehearsal the day before the wedding. The wedding day itself went so smooth, Matt and Ralph were there at every moment to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. The bartenders and the servers were all so incredibly personable and friendly and just continue to show why the Oceanview is such an amazing place. They 100% deserve every single one of the five stars they are given and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for their dream wedding venue!

Look no further!

Working with the Oceanview is a bride's dream come true! The staff is absolutely amazing - the nicest of people, and so, so knowledgable! Honestly, planning my wedding with them was a BREEZE. Matt and Allison are so attentive and detail-oriented; they went through everything with me, down to the smallest of details, to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted.

Ralph, the bridal concierge/ day-of godsend, deserves his own review. He can do it all - whether you need help bustling your dress, calming your nerves, or you need someone to run to the bridal suite and grab your veil before you walk down the aisle without it (oops), he's your guy. Ralph made sure everything went smoother than I ever could have imagined. Overall, the Oceanview has amazing staff, great service, excellent food (especially their braised beef short rib - absolutely to die for!), and a STUNNING view. We can't recommend this place enough.

The perfect venue

I don't know where to begin on how amazing the Oceanview and its staff are. The weather really threw things for a loop over my wedding weekend. It was rainy and extremely windy, which was heartbreaking because I always imagined having the ceremony outside with the stunning views. They had the ballroom set up for an indoor ceremony, and while it wasn't what I imagined, it was beautiful. Knowing how badly my husband and I wanted it outside, Ralph along with Allison and Caitlin kept checking the radar and were updating me on what was happening. They decided to delay the ceremony by 15 minutes, moved everyone outside, set up some chairs and somehow, the rain stopped long enough to get our ceremony and photos outside. They all truly went above and beyond to make this happen for us. Beyond this, the planning was stress-free -- they were always responsive with answering my questions and the day was absolutely seamless because of their professionalism. The food was amazing, the venue is stunning, and the staff will make your day better than you could even imagine.

My Dream Wedding

My husband and I got married at the Oceanview of Nahant on August 10, 2019. Let me start by saying it was truly the best day of our lives. From the day we booked, Allison was my go-to with any questions. She was amazing. She answered me so quickly and was always happy and willing to do anything to help. There was always reminders sent out so that you know exactly what you should be thinking about in the timeframe you have. There was never any pressure placed to go with any type of extras that they offer. I see that Oceanview’s goal is truly to make your day how you envisioned it.
The day of the wedding, Ralph and Caitlin were there. They were available for anything we needed and thought of anything we didn’t think of. I think Ralph found my phone more than twice that night, and also searched for the box that our champagne flutes came in so they didn’t break on the ride home. Above and beyond. Mike also expressed to me how much fun he and the groomsmen had with him, and enjoyed hearing his many wedding hosting experiences. Oceanview as a team is a well–oiled machine. They are professionals at making your day beautiful. You can let go of everything and enjoy. Our wedding was nothing short of perfect. A month later, guests saying, “that was the best wedding I have ever been to”, and “I can’t get over the views at your venue!” Thank you Oceanview of Nahant, I would recommend you to anyone.

The most perfect day!

From the first day I walked into Oceanview my first thought was- YES! I said yes to the venue because it immediately spoke to me with its decor and view. The venue is already beautifully decorated and always making updates to improve! Although I love to design and put my own touch on everything- I really did not need to decorate that much because it already looked so beautiful. I am 3 weeks out from my wedding, and I am still at a loss of words at how perfect the day was. I would highly recommend the Oceanview of Nahant! From the amazing view, delicious food, and extremely kind/helpful staff- I can promise, you will not be let down!

The Oceanview of Nahant

This type of venue speaks for itself with the view, but the staff is truly exceptional as well! The night of our wedding on 7/19/19, Ralph (the room captain) and Brenda (the owner) were fabulous! Everything ran smoothly and we didn’t have to think about what step of the night came next because that was covered! During our planning process, Allison and Matt were there to answer any questions that came up with ease.

The venue is extremely well kept and is always improving with new renovations! We fell in love with the venue when we booked our wedding, but it somehow got even better once our wedding date came around two years later :) The food on the night of our wedding was amazing! Everyone is still raving about the surf and turf which was steak and lobster tails.

We even got these shirts that say “we tied the knot at The Oceanview of Nahant” and every time we wear them people always say how much they love the venue! We even met someone at the Charlotte North Carolina airport that knew The Oceanview of Nahant!

This venue is highly recommended and definitely deserves 5 stars! We love The Oceanview of Nahant :)

Sandor and I couldn't be any happier how everything came out... it was beyond PERFECT and I couldn't ask for a better support but you guys. An Unforgettable Wedding!

My husband and I were just married at The Oceanview of Nahant in June 2019 and we could not have picked a more perfect oceanfront venue. Granted we lucked out with perfect weather on our big day, our experience with Oceanview was excellent from the start. When we first started looking at venues last year, Oceanview stood out to us as one of the most beautiful oceanfront venues. When we arrived for our first appointment to tour the venue, we were greeted by Allison who made us feel so welcome. After our initial meeting, we knew immediately this was where we wanted to say our I Do’s. Allison was our wedding coordinator throughout the planning process, and she was so incredibly patient and helpful in answering all my many questions. When our big day arrived, everything went so smoothly thanks to Ralph, our bridal concierge. Ralph was a superstar even assisting my maids of honor with my bustle! I really can’t imagine how our big day would have gone without Ralph there. Their staff is fantastic! We had the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony on their Beach Stone Terrace. Our guests loved the bubbly ceremony with the champagne and ending bubbles. The venue has so many different areas where guests can hangout. My guests especially loved the outdoor deck that had doors to both the lounge and ballroom. I know our last dance on the beach with our guests holding sparklers was an incredible photo-op and our guests also loved the firepit finale end. So many of my guests told me afterwards that our wedding was one of the nicest weddings they have ever been to. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Oceanview.

BEST venue on the East Coast

I had zero intention of getting married in Boston but to make my parents happy I said I would go look at 2 venues here. I walked into Ocean View and my stomach literally started flipping. Allison helped us from the very beginning of the tour and I walked out of there without booking the venue because I couldn't actually accept that I found the perfect spot. No more then 5 min into our drive back home I broke down in tears over the thought of loosing this venue. I instantly called with a deposit! This venue exceeded every expectation I had for my dream wedding!!! Allison was a rock star and handled every part of m,y wedding like it was her own! She held my hand thru it all and I am so grateful for her & this venue!! Our guests were BLOWN away!!! The space is breathtaking, the staff is amazing and the add on options were incredible. We want to thank you all for making our dream wedding a reality!!!

Venue, team, view amazing!

From the minute we had our first meeting with the oceanview we new this was the venue for us. Their attention to detail is what sets them apart from others. Wedding planning with alison was an absolute breeze and the day of with Ralph he really does it all. He fixed my bustle by sewing me into my dress that came undone at the beginning of the night and he really made the night flow so easily I never had to think of anything because he was 5 steps ahead of me. You cannot beat the view, venue, or service at the oceanview. Highly recommend this amazing venue and team.

Perfect from Start to Finish

We were married at the Oceanview of the Nahant on 6/8/2019, and the whole experience was amazing. It all started with our first visit to the site in May 2018. When we go there, we noticed the spectacular location of the venue right on the shore, overlooking the ocean. Upon entering the building, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated nautical themed site, complete with a very pleasant scent that was present in the air of the entire venue.

We meet with Allison, one of the fantastic staff members, who then showed us around the rest of the venue. After this, we sat down with her and told her what we were looking for in our wedding planning. However, we knew on our end that this was going to be the end of our search, and we were going to do everything we could to make it work. When Allison told us about the option for a mid-morning ceremony with a clam bake option for the meal, we were sold. It didn’t take much consideration on our part; we knew we were going to sign and commit to having our wedding at the Oceanview.

Following that day, we were blown away with the responsiveness of all the people we interacted with. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed to have done. They did a great job in keeping in touch with us as well, checking in every now and then to see how our planning was progressing. It was an all around fantastic experience working with Allison, Caitlin, and the entire crew over at Oceanview. They made our wedding day so much more special and enjoyable, and were very helpful in making sure that all our bases were covered and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. As for our wedding day, everything was perfect.

We cannot emphasize enough how highly we recommend the Oceanview.

Obsessed with Oceanview!

The Oceanview of Nahant is simply amazing. I have nothing negative to say about my experience there. The staff at Oceavniew make it seem like your wedding is the most important wedding of the year. They are professional and kind! At the end of my wedding, I ended up hugging the staff because I was so happy and thankful for them! It was the best day ever and I have the staff of Oceanview to thank for that. The venue is beautiful with an amazing view. I told all my friends and family members to get married there, not only because of the amazing staff and beautiful view, but because the venue is beautiful and fun. Perfection

From the time we stepped foot within the venue we knew this was where we should start our forever. We originally met with Matt who was unlike any other person at any venue. The way he made us feel so comfortable so quickly was amazing and so reassuring. After we booked, we were in the capable hands of Allison, who sat, listened, and laughed with us on several occasions. (She was also very eager to hear all of our stories about our dog) Leading up to the day of, and throughout our wedding day, we felt very calm and at ease knowing that the team at Oceanview was putting together our perfect day. The whole day ran seamlessly, from the ceremony to the firepit finale ( which we highly recommend!). Thank you again to the entire staff at the Oceanview for helping start off our journey together in life in the most perfect way possible!

Dream experience

From the first communication, Oceanview has been an absolute dream. Excellent customer service, responsiveness, attention to detail and the venue is to die for. The owners literally bottled up every girl’s fantasy wedding and brought it to life. Rustic, charming, personalized, comfortable, and romantic. I couldn’t say more positive things!

The most perfect venue!

My husband and I were married at the Oceanview of Nahant this past October 2018 and we cannot say enough great things about this venue.

We were looking for a venue in MA that was overlooking the ocean and from the minute we stepped on the property, we knew we had found the place. It is the most gorgeous space both inside and out -- the outside ceremony space has the most perfect ocean backdrop and both the cocktail and ballroom spaces have so many beautiful accents.
In addition, the food was loved by all of guests with a particular favorite being the unique gourmet Grilled Cheese station during the cocktail hour!

On top of all of this, the team at the Oceanview of Nahant really makes the wedding experience so special. From the moment we showed up to take photos on our wedding day through the ceremony and to the end of the reception, it was the absolute best experience for us. We were over the moon with how smoothly everything went and our guests could not stop talking about great the space, food, and service was.

We worked closely with Allison from our first meeting and she was the absolute best. She was always so kind, fun, and excited for us. She answered all of my endless questions via email and was always patient and committed to helping us have the wedding that was right for us and our families (down to the last detail!). Caitlin was our day of point person and she too was excellent. Everything was set up exactly as we had talked about and we appreciated the immense attention to detail. We felt so comfortable with her too and that helped make the day even better!

The Oceanview of Nahant truly helped us to have the wedding we had been planning for and dreaming of and we cannot thank them enough. We highly recommend it as the venue for your wedding!

Picture Perfect!

We got married in July 2018 at the Oceanview of Nahant. Our guests raved about the venue. The location, ceremony area, last dance outside near the water, firepits and smores! The renovations that were done inside to the Bridal Suite and Ballroom were absolutely amazing. The entire staff was so easy to work with. Matt, Allison, Caitlin and Ralph all worked seamlessly together to make sure our special day went off without a hitch. Absolutely no thinking was needed the day of, we just showed up and it all happened just like we envisioned it. If we had the chance to do it over again, we wouldn't change a thing! We also went with Pure Energy for our DJ and 26 North Studios for our photographer. Both are recommended vendors and know the venue well, helping to make for a smoother day and a better celebration. Best of the best

It is no secret that this place is one of the best wedding venues around. I truly could have cut out all of my own planning and showed up in a white dress and it still would have been out of this world. The Oceanview crew do not miss a beat and I would have never pulled off such an amazing night without them. Huge shout out to Alyson and Ralph who made the night flawless. They offer so many extras and we chose to have the bubbly ceremony, whiskey and cigar bar, espresso bar, late night bites, pindot lighting, photo booth, lawn games, sparkler last dance and after party on the beach. There was something for everyone - even the people who don’t like weddings. Aside from the amazing service and unlimited options, the food (apps, mushroom ravioli, braised short ribs, chicken piccata) was absolutely incredible. I just wish I could relive the night again as a guest.

Book this venue now!

I do not even know where to begin!! From the day we found the Oceanview of Nahant online we were obsessed. The obsession continued during our first viewing of the venue where they even had customized welcome signs on the front door with our names! Allison helped us throughout the beginning stages and we cannot thank her enough! She answered all of our questions right away and made the planning process so much easier! Matt helped us during the final meeting to ensure everything was set up perfectly for our big day. On the big day both Matt and Ralph were there for us during every step of the way! Ralph is AMAZING!! He made sure we sat down to eat dinner and was always there for us when we needed him. He also made sure my bustle was perfect and my dress did not rip! We love everyone at the Oceanview of Nahant for making our big day so special! Our guests are still raving about the food, the fun, and the view!! If you are looking for a venue please LOOK NO FURTHER!!! You will not regret getting married here. It was truly the best day of our lives and we owe it all to the Oceanview of Nahant!!!! Our best day!

I don't even know how to express how much we LOVED our wedding venue and team. First off, the venue is absolutely beautiful. We got married on the beach terrace by the water and it was stunning. Me and my husband were getting nervous because it was raining all day and as soon as I was on my way to the venue the skies opened up and gave a view that I cant even describe. All night long everyone was coming up to us saying how much they loved the venue and how beautiful it is. If you are looking to get married on the water you NEED to go take a tour. You will be smitten from the moment you walk in, just like we were. We toured so many venues before going to see the Oceanview and as soon as we walked in we knew that this is where we wanted to start our next chapter. As if the venue couldn't get any better then you have the dream team to help. Allison is amazing and is always there to answer any question at any time no matter how silly they might seem. Then there's Caitlin who makes the day transition so smoothly and honestly if she can handle my wedding party she can take on the world. And then we have Ralph, who is a godsend. From helping us remember to enjoy the day and not get too hectic, to bustling a dress like no one else can. He is with you every step of the way and you will be in great hands. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. If we had to do it all over again we would pick the Oceanview 100 times over!

Beautiful Venue with a 5-star Staff

Oceanview made our big day a dream come true! From the venue to the staff to the food, nothing could've gone better. Matt, Allison, Caitlin, and Ralph were amazing to work with the year leading up to the wedding and made sure the day moved smoothly. We had a quick, 6 hour day wedding. We had our wedding at the Oceanview on 9.14.18. On our initial tour of the venue we fell in love with it! Standing on the beach stone terrace looking at the view of the ocean, we instantly decided that this was the perfect place to say “I do!”. From the beginning, Allison was always quick to respond to my many questions leading up to the big day. She helped us plan the perfect wedding and was so accommodating and fun to work with! On the day of Caitlin, Ralph, and Matt made sure that everything went smoothly. We were able to enjoy every moment of our day and did not have to worry about a thing! I love love love love everything about the oceanview. The place itself is breath taking! But then you have to amazing staff, the responded so quick every time I emailed and they let me come visit whenever I wanted to. Allison is one of the best people you will every meet. She remembers every detail about everything. My husband and his groomsmen fell in love with Ralph. He was so great and made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. You can tell that they are really a family at the oceanview!

I got married on 8/11/18, and I’m still smiling from what a perfect day it was! We only visited two venues, and when we left Oceanview we both knew that was the place we wanted to get married. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue, and since we first booked they did huge renovations which made it even more beautiful! When we first visited, there was a sign with our names on it and we were greeted by Matt (owner). That warm, friendly vibe from that initial moment was felt throughout the whole process. All of the staff there are true professionals and truly care about making your big day as special as it can be. The food is absolutely delicious, and the menu has a lot to choose from! We also used many of their preferred vendors as we were not from that area and are so happy we chose them. Allison is a true gem. She walked us through our entire day for our final meeting and made us feel so at ease! She is such a positive, genuine person who will do whatever it takes to have your day go as smooth as possible! She was with us the entire night of our wedding and did a fantastic job setting up all of our decor beforehand! Caitlin did our rehearsal and took careful notes of how we wanted everything to be set up and made us feel so comfortable heading into the big day! We got married outside, and it was raining all day leading up to it but Matt, Allison, and Ralph had backup plans ready if needed. It stopped raining right before the ceremony, and they all quickly made sure the outside was ready for guests as they arrived. Richard the bartender is so personable and so attentive. Ralph is like the hero of your wedding. He makes sure everything runs smoothly and is so attentive to the bride and groom all night. I can’t even name everything that he does because it is so much! He actually had to sew my dress for me so I could bustle it. The fire pit finale at the end is cool and unique! Our guests really enjoyed that part. It is such a great way to top off your night! Best venue!

Words can't even begin to describe our experience at Oceanview! We got married on 6/28/18 and from the very first moment we stepped onto the venue to the actual wedding day, it was such an amazing experience and we are sorry to see it come to an end! The staff from beginning to end was so extremely helpful and committed to making our day perfect. During every step of the way, Allison and Matt were there to answer all questions, no matter how little or silly they were. On the wedding rehearsal and day of, Caitlin and Ralph were there to make sure everything was set up perfectly and our day went smoothly. Our wedding at the Oceanview was a dream come true. While we were looking for venues, we only visited the Oceanview, and said, yeah, that's what we want. They are also constantly improving the venue with fixes and renovations, so what you get on your big day will probably be even better the first time you see it! Caitlin and Allison were very responsive to all of our questions and concerns, and are super-friendly to boot. The location is gorgeous, the staff are top-notch, and during our big day, everyone, especially Ralph, made the event very smooth for both us and our guests. Even though they've done this thousands of times, they will make sure that your day will be amazing. If an oceanfront wedding is what you're looking for, you can't do much better than the Oceanview!

The very first time we walked through the Oceanview’s doors we knew we had found our venue. The amazing attention to detail, jaw dropping location and knowledgeable staff had us feeling at ease about the most important day of our lives! The Oceanview’s staff, Allison, Matt, Mike, Caitlin and Ralph happily answered every silly question we asked as the day came closer and ensured us that everything would be taken care of for our arrival. When our wedding day finally came they made sure the events ran smoothly and what appeared to be effortlessly. It was pure magic. Ralph took care of us the whole night making sure we were where we needed to be and communicated with the vendors so that Zach and I could enjoy the night with our friends and family. I cannot begin to describe how AMAZING this venue is. My husband Ben and I were married on 5/4/18 at Oceanview of Nahant. It truly was the wedding of our dreams. We knew that this would be our wedding venue after about 5 minutes into our first visit, and this was before the stunning renovations they did. The staff really knows what they’re doing. OMG that bridal suite. I could not imagine getting ready in a more beautiful place. The outdoor setting is absolutely breathtaking at Oceanview. The huge wooden doors at the entrance to the aisle are the biggest wow factor. I felt like a princess once those doors opened. After the ceremony, we were brought up to the dining room to get a first look at the setup. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The décor on our food stations was spectacular and our centerpieces (which were a little complicated) were set up exactly as I had wanted. It was perfect. We took photos during cocktail hour, Ralph was there to keep Ben and I, the bridal party, and the photographer on track. He was there for me the entire night; every bride needs a Ralph on their wedding day! We had food stations at our reception instead of a plated meal, the food was A+. Everyone is still raving about how delicious everything was. In addition to the dessert buffet, we had the cigar and whiskey tasting, what a great call, HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED! It’s such a fun idea and all of our guests loved it. The firepit finale with the smores bar was the icing on the cake. It was a magical way to end our special day. I will never forget our last dance on the beach under that spotlight with all of our family and friends surrounding us with sparklers. That was truly the best moment of my life.

We are still on cloud nine from our evening Saturday 6.23.2018 at Oceanview - it was the most incredible experience and we wish it didn't have to end! We wanted to send a quick thank you to everyone at Oceanview who shared in making our day the most special yet. So many guests ranted and raved about the venue, food, service, and ambiance. Many said it was the best wedding they had ever been too! We are very grateful and happy that we chose Oceanview and thank each and every one of you for all of your assistance from the planning to full execution of the evening. From the ocean side ceremony to the fire pit finale - the entire night was flawless! Ralph is also the man and deserves a special mention for trying to keep both Michael and I in check - he is phenomenal at what he does!

The Oceanview of Nahant knows how to do weddings and they do them INCREDIBLY well! My husband and I had our reception on a Friday (June 29th). They constantly went above and beyond our expectations and made us feel like we were in a fairytale. They offer a Tremendous Bridal Suite, Fantastic bar/cocktail room, Beautiful ballroom and the best part, you guessed it, the VIEW. We went to see three different venues on a Saturday after we were engaged and walked out of Oceanview knowing it was the one! They recently renovated the entire property and WOW!!! It is absolutely perfect after they put the time and love back into this one of a kind wedding venue. With that being said, the real beauty of Oceanview is the staff. Throughout the entire process, everyone was incredible. Allison was especially helpful with answering all of our questions and helping us make our vision a reality. Ralph, during the reception, kept us on track and made sure we took care of all the formalities while still having time to eat, dance and most importantly, have fun! Forget hiring a wedding planner when you have people like Allison and Ralph on your team! Our guests have been raving about everything, from the venue itself, to the staff, to the food! They keep asking us how we found this "hidden gem." We’ve been told numerous times it was the best wedding our guests have ever been to and we owe that all to the Oceanview! We didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day because the staff took care of it all seamlessly. We are honestly sad that our wedding is over because it was such a perfect day, and we wish we could do it all over again at the Oceanview of Nahant! If you want to be sure that you will have the best wedding day of your lives then you need to choose Oceanview! We promise you will not be disappointed! All they do is weddings, and they do it right! All you need to do is worry about having fun and enjoy the wedding of your dreams because they take care of the the rest!

I cannot thank the staff enough for an AMAZING day last Friday - James and I couldn’t have hoped for a better wedding. Ralph, Matt, Allison and the rest of the team went above and beyond (even when it was seemingly impossible with 2, yes 2, almost medical emergencies causing our schedule to be about an hour behind the entire night). They all made sure the “show went on” and that everyone was still having a perfect night, despite the hiccups.
The Oceanview is top notch and gets every detail right, putting in so much effort from the various events held leading up to your event (open houses to see the renovations, the tasting party, live music night, etc), right down to every personalized touch the day of. The entire planning process was so easy and stress free, and I can’t tell you how many of our guests absolutely raved about the food and the views - even our DJ said it was the prettiest venue he’s ever done an event at.
James and I are truly lucky to have held our wedding at Oceanview, and thanks to the staff, we will remember this special day for the rest of our lives.

I cannot thank the entire Oceanview team enough for the most amazing wedding day! From the moment our limo pulled up to their venue to the moment we left, we had the most magical time. I honestly felt like I was in a fairytale. Their crew was completely on top of their game. They started from the minute I got there by helping hide me (and my big dress) from all my wedding guests and getting me to the gorgeous bridal suite. From there, they were readily available with food and beverages. They made me feel at ease. Then, Caitlin and Ralph were there to guide us every step of the way. They made sure we were exactly where we needed to be and kept the timeline rolling throughout our entire wedding and reception. They made everything so easy and effortless. The wedding venue, ceremony area and reception space was absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for a better venue or better people to celebrate this special day with! There is no better venue or better staff to trust with the biggest day of your life! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We got married at the Oceanview last night 6/8/18 and just couldn’t wait to write a review! From the moment we walked into the venue we fell in love with everything about it. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and it’s all thanks to the Oceanview team. We booked our date almost a year and a half in advance and Matt and Allison were there for us every step of the way to answer all of our questions and to give advice - we can’t thank them enough for making the whole planning process easy and fun! Caitlin was there at our final meeting and rehearsal to make sure we were prepared and ready to go! Ralph, our day of coordinator, there aren’t even words to express how grateful we were to have had him with us on our wedding day! He made the entire night run so smoothly we didn’t have to worry about anything other than having a blast with our guests. The entire team really makes you feel like family during the whole process and we are so incredibly thankful for them! If you’re looking for a venue that truly has it all - stunning oceanfront views, amazing food and an incredibly professional, fun and upbeat staff this is it!

The venue is absolutely gorgeous!!! Our guests all said they had an amazing time. My husband and I could not have had a more perfect wedding. All staff including the owners, Matt, Ralph, Allison, and Caitlyn were all so helpful and amazing the whole day! I would highly recommend this venue for any and all events!

My husband and I were married on 12/2/17 and had our reception at The Oceanview of Nahant. From the day we toured the venue to the night of our wedding we were in love with the Oceanview. The staff ( Matt, Alison and Ralph) were so welcoming, professional and so attentive to our every need. The planning process was seamless and honestly, stress free!!! Matt listened and responded to all of our questions and concerns and was so accommodating. He made it so enjoyable to plan a wedding and is a true professional and exceptional at what he does. The night of our reception was perfect from start to finish. The food was phenomenal and we are still getting compliments from family and friends. It was a dream come true for us. The Oceanview Family are the BEST in the wedding industry and we recommend them to everyone. We are so sad it is over, but the memories we are left with will always make us smile! I fell in love with Oceanview as soon as I walked in the door! I loved the view, the décor, and all the cute little signs they have throughout the venue. What another venue we looked at was missing was views of the ocean once inside the reception room, but that’s exactly what makes Oceanview so great! And of course we loved the option to have our last dance down on the beach with sparklers. After our first visit I remember getting in the car and I said to my fiancé, I think I love it!!!
The wedding planners at Oceanview were all very helpful and easy to work with. I’m sure I was bugging them with all of my questions along the way, but they were very accommodating. And on the day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about anything, they had it all under control. We got so many compliments from our guests on the venue, the food, and how nicely everything flowed. I was so happy how everything turned out! I wish we could do it all over again!
