Nicole and the entire team at The Meadows worked tirelessly to provide the literal wedding of our daughter's dreams. Beginning with the initial tour and consultation, we were presented with clear information and facts about the choices we could make for the wedding day. The setting was stunning. The service was exceptional. The knowledge of the Raleigh wedding industry was invaluable. I simply cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve is an excellent venue with lots of open space. My wife and I booked an elopement package about 35 days out from our wedding date. We booked the venue without seeing it in person and relied on virtual tours from the venue manager. We saw the venue for the first time about five days out from our wedding and thought it was gorgeous. There are five different outdoor areas to have a ceremony. We settled on The Lawn because the location was close to Heron Hall, where our family would gather after the ceremony. The venue manager was a pleasure to work with. She provided great feedback to all our questions in a timely manner. She was also on hand for several site visits, our wedding rehearsal and ceremony. Her level of service was excellent. Book this venue for a gorgeous backdrop to your wedding ceremony. Book this venue for awesome wedding photos. Book this venue for excellent service. Book this venue for an unforgettable time. -

We were married at The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve on May 4, 2025, and it was truly the perfect venue for our wedding. The space is absolutely stunning and played such a big role in making our day feel magical. From the beautiful scenery to the well-thought-out layout, the venue had everything we needed, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much they loved it.
We also want to give a special shoutout to our incredible wedding planner, Lindsay Harrod. Lindsay was extremely professional, organized, and helpful every step of the way. Her communication throughout the planning process—and especially on the big day—was exceptional. She kept us on track, eased our stress, and made sure everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without her!
We highly recommend The Meadows and Lindsay Harrod to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue and a supportive, experienced planning partner. -

A Perfect Mix of Beautiful
Having our wedding at The Meadows was an easy choice for us. We loved the versatility of the indoor and outdoor options and the fact that it’s a perfect mix of beautiful on its own, yet simple enough for any décor to look amazing. Every time we went back between when we booked the venue and our wedding day, something was upgraded, and each renovation was better than the last. Being able to spend the full day hanging out and getting ready with our wedding parties at the venue was another feature that sold the venue to us. Thank you! -

The event itself was magical!
We had an incredible time here for our wedding at The Meadows. The Meadows was our second location after we had to change our original date and venue due to covid. They were incredibly accommodating with the quick turnaround.
Throughout the whole process, the whole staff was beyond kind and answered all of our questions quickly and professionally.
The event itself was magical! Both houses on the property were equipped with everything the guys and the gals needed to relax and get ready for the day. The grounds are gorgeous and wonderfully manicured.
We cannot express enough how amazing the staff was before, during and after the event!!

The place to get married!
I knew from the second I stepped foot at The Meadows, that it would be the place we got married. Honestly it was love at first sight. From the outdoor bathtubs, to the wooded nook, to the golden meadows themselves, to a garden literally growing on top of the bar... all of it was pure magic. The team you get with The Meadows is hands down the most professional team I have ever seen in action. They made sure everything was ready to go smoothly leading up to our big day, and even on the big day they helped in any way possible! Whether you are looking to get married inside, or outside... there are MULTIPLE options to explore! Trust me, when its all said and done, you will basically want to live in The Meadows at Firefly Farms. xoxo, Gracie -

The meadows is the most amazing wedding venue! The houses on property give the bride and groom ample space to get ready to feel like the star of the show. All the spaces are so well maintained and stocked that it truly feels like a home away from home. Not only is the property gorgeous but the team behind the show really does it all. Nicole + team were able to answer every question and worry before the big day, and they pulled out all the stops to give us a dream wedding. We are so grateful for all the work that was put into our special day and cannot recommend the meadows enough!! -

We were lucky enough to get married here in December! I remember instantly feeling so happy and peaceful as soon as we arrived to tour the venue for the first time and felt that way each time we've been back since. We fell in love with the beautiful North Carolina outdoors, amazing outdoor and indoor ceremony space options, and separate houses for getting ready. The venue is rustic but modern and has a beautiful, classic NC feel while also feeling as comfortable and fun and as your favorite brewery. It's truly unique from a lot of the other venues in the area.
We also were able to utilize a lot of decor and features that the venue offers--gorgeous live edge wood tables and complementing black reception chairs, sweetheart table and ladder to hang flowers on, copper arch for our ceremony, cornhole boards, patio with cocktail tables (and options for both built-in heaters and fans), and awesome fire pit for s'mores. We opted to spend the night before our wedding in Aerie House on the property and it was the best experience to get to spend that time together and wake up at the venue the morning of our wedding. We decided to go with the rain plan of having our ceremony inside the venue and were so glad we had that option because it was still so beautiful inside and also because it rained during our ceremony! There is also a "couple's suite" where we did our legal ceremony marriage license signing. It also has a private bathroom and was nice to be able to change into my reception dress there without really having to leave the reception.
The staff at The Meadows is wonderful and did a great job converting to an indoor ceremony last minute as well as flipping the space for reception during cocktail hour. They also still made our first look happen in the meadow where we were originally supposed to have our ceremony and it was so special to be able to have it out there (complete with roosters crowing as we read our vows!). I cannot recommend Lindsay enough, who was so helpful every step of the way and made so much magic happen on our wedding day.
A huge thank you to The Meadows--getting married here was absolutely one of the best choices we made for our wedding! -

Choosing to work with the Meadows was easily the best decision my wife and I made about our wedding planning. Lindsay was absolutely fantastic, great in offering recommendations and made sure our special day went off without a hitch. I always felt supported leading up to the event and I'm still receiving compliments about the wedding months afterward. 10/10 couldn't recommend more. -

10/10 venue
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our October wedding at. The outdoor ceremony options are amazing, but it was also nice to have the indoor options as a back up plan just for peace of mind. Having the getting ready houses on site was also a huge plus, one less thing to worry about the day of. Lindsay was great to work with and made our day go so smoothly! Another benefit is the location - perfect mix of having the feeling of privacy but also still being a short ride to/from downtown. I’d recommend the Meadows to anyone looking for a venue!

The Meadows and their team were amazing! We loved that the venue has so many options for ceremony spaces, two full houses for getting ready, and lots of indoor and outdoor room for the reception. It gave each part of the wedding it's own space and moment, but still felt intimate. The team worked so hard to pull our vision together and will go above and beyond to help however they can. Our day was perfect and that's all due to The Meadows, their planning team, and their coordination with vendors! -

Perfect Location
Our daughter had a rehearsal dinner, overnight, and a 215 guest reception which was perfect from start to finish, thanks to the staff and the extremely well-developed spaces. The fact that we could rent the two houses in which the wedding parties spent the night was the best - it gave them a place to chill and have fun, but prevented them from having to drive around town late a night. Gem of a spot - close to downtown, but feels like you are miles in the country -

The Meadows is a hidden gem amongst the Triangle area! The location is sprawling and natural, just what we were looking for, with a vast variety of ceremony spots to choose from. Our bridal party loved staying the night before in the 2 houses on the property and significantly reduced the stress of wedding morning! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the venue, most of whom had no idea it was there, having lived in the area. The staff were so kind and always had smiles. A huge plus is the numerous shooting locations for photos! Seriously consider The Meadows! -

I could not imagine getting married anywhere else! It feels like you are in the mountains but you are right there in Raleigh. It is private and absolutely breathtaking. When you book with the meadows you receive so many perks and added benefits that you don't really get anywhere else (trust me I looked). I would get married there over and over again. They are the sweetest and made my day so so special! Love them all and this venue so much :) -

The Meadows was not our original wedding venue, but after having our wedding date postponed twice due to Covid, we decided to elope. We wanted to still be able to get married somewhere beautiful and affordable, and the Meadows was perfect for this. We were there for 2 hours, which was perfect for our elopement. All the refurbished vintage pieces that literally come with the venue make it so unique and worth every penny. I literally did not find another venue that had aesthetically pleasing decor like that. Whether you are looking to get married inside, or outside... there are MULTIPLE options to explore! Where do I even begin...Got married at the Meadows earlier this month, and to say it was the perfect venue almost feels like an understatement. It was EXACTLY what my husband and I envisioned for our wedding- a beautiful ceremony in the fields, dinner under a lit up tent as the sun was setting, and a space for people to dance, lounge, drink, and just be in good company :) There was a place for everyone to just do what they want and celebrate us. (Side note- I feel like a majority of our guests kept raving about the venue when congratulating us and we had 350+ guests so that's saying a lot).
Ana and her team at the Meadows worked with me and went the extra mile to make sure everything was what we wanted, and I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work -

My husband and I were lucky enough to book The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve early on (our wedding was October 2018), when it was still new. We were blown away by the staff (we worked with Hannah mostly - she was amazing!) and the venue itself. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the buildings have been newly constructed, so everything is nice and new, yet doesn't look out of place with the natural surroundings. We didn't have one complaint with the venue. It was very private, naturally beautiful, and felt special (even starting at the long driveway bringing you into the grounds). Hannah was so great to work with and truly cared about our experience. I love how the venue allowed us to use the houses the day of the wedding. It was so nice to get to the venue early and not have to worry about getting ready somewhere else and then having to travel to the venue. Aerie House was gorgeous and the natural light was great for getting-ready photos. The guys really enjoyed The Roost as well. We are so grateful to everyone at The Meadows for making our wedding such a beautiful day!! -

Where can I start? The Meadows was perfect for my husband, Joe, and I. We were having a hard time deciding where to book, and once we met Anna, Kelly and Hannah, we felt so sure in our decision. It was like talking to old friends. We were the first wedding to include dogs in the ceremony and on the grounds, and Anna was super open to it! We have 4 small Jack Russells, and they can be a handful! But Anna worked with us so we could have piece of mind with having them there. There are so many options when it comes to this venue, for ceremony or reception. We wanted super bohemian vibe, the ability to have live music and yard games, and a mostly outdoor event space. The Meadows offered just that. We really loved how down-to-earth everyone was and how welcoming and supportive they were of our wedding. No request was too much. Their team is just so sweet and accommodating, and not to mention the grounds and houses on the property are beyond beautiful. I felt very lucky to have found this gem. I would not hesitate to have another event at The Meadows in the future. I'm literally just thinking of random events so we can do just that... doggie birthday party, anyone? :) Thank you guys for such a great planning process and event. We truly enjoyed working with you. -

Our wedding was the most perfect day ever thanks in a large part to the wonderful people at The Meadows! This crew really went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly. They had all the furniture we needed, provided plenty of lawn games, and we didn’t have to do much extra to decorate. They even built a grate to go over their fire pit just so we could have s’mores cones. The entire venue is gorgeous, spacious, and full of so many unique and darling details. My only regret is that we didn’t rent it for the whole weekend! -

The property is beautiful, and we love what the owners and property manager have down with the renovated houses and venue area. Everyone was very communicative and quick to respond to any question we had. Even though the weather was rainy and cold for our wedding day, the venue was still beautiful and we wouldn't have had it any other way. We couldn't recommend the Meadows enough! We wish we could go back.

George Sent on 03/19/2018There is so much that I want to write about this venue and the amazing people that helped make our wedding such a memorable experience. My wife and I are the first official couple to be married at The Meadows. We were engaged on September 15th and decided to have the wedding on December 2nd. That gave us a total of 11 weeks to prepare for a wedding! We had no venue picked out, and had not even heard of The Meadows. On our first visit we met with Kelley Farris, the venue coordinator who showed us all of the spots on the property that were being planned. The key word being "planned." The Meadows was still under construction and not scheduling weddings until the Spring of 2018 - until we showed up. We had visited several venues throughout the area and this by far was the most beautiful and inviting spot that we visited on our search. We wanted to be married in the woods, run through the meadows for pictures, have a bon fire, and have a relaxed atmosphere for friends and family. There are simply no other venues in the area that matched what we found with The Meadows.
Instead of turning us away while they were still under construction, Anna (the property owner) and Kelley laid out a timeline of all projects that would be completed by our wedding date. The following 2 months were nothing short of amazing. Working with Anna, Kurt, and Kelley became like working with family. Everything that we were told would be completed was completed..and so much more!!! Trails were carved out heading down to our wedding ceremony space, market lights were hung in the trees, a covered roof installed, a fire pit installed, a staging area that popped up seemingly overnight..etc..etc. We were truly amazed by the effort put forth by everyone involved who helped to make our wedding such an amazing day. Getting married at The Meadows was more than an event - it was an experience - and one we will never forget. -

The most stunning venue
We knew before going to see The Meadows that this was our dream venue. We were blown away by the different outdoor venue spaces and the indoor/outdoor reception space. This was one of the very few (maybe the only) wedding venue that we visited that had equal-quality spaces for both the bride/bridesmaids and groom/groomsmen to get ready. It was one of the most beautiful spaces and once we saw it we truly couldn't see ourselves getting married anywhere else.
The only negative we found was that things we assumed would be included in the cost were an additional charge. (a few examples - Chairs for outdoor spaces, event insurance, plates/cutlery) -
