An absolute dream team!
Want to not think about a single thing on your wedding day other than just walking down the aisle and having the best day of your life? Then hire Amanda and her team. Amanda, Alisa, and Christine integrated into the day so seamlessly and took care of every little detail so flawlessly. They had amazing energy and were not only helpful to justin and me but literally everyone in or at the wedding. Perhaps the most impressive part of the day was when my bustle broke and they literally created A BETTER BUSTLE than I had in the first place. We love this team and cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for making our day perfect. -

The best decision we made!!!
The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Amanda for our “day of coordinator”. Amanda and her team were absolutely fabulous and such a pleasure to work with! So friendly, so organized, and so ready to tackle any obstacle! Immediately after my first phone conversation inquiring about what her and her team could provide, I couldn’t sign the contract fast enough. Her communication, planning and people skills are remarkable. Any question, concern or even just needing feedback/input was quickly resolved after a conversation with Amanda. Prior to the big day, Amanda jumped on all our final vendor calls. This was everything!!! Knowing Amanda and her team were there every step of the way and knew every fine detail truly put us at ease, not to mention being there for rehearsal too (game changer!) On wedding day, Amanda and her team showed up with the best energy, kindness, professionalism and ready to keep our day running flawlessly! Our day ran so incredibly smooth, we can’t help but attribute this to Amanda and her planning! I truly believe we enjoyed our day thoroughly because we had Amanda there by our side! Hiring Amanda was the best money spent for our picture perfect day and I tell everyone I know, if you’re getting married you need Amanda on your team! -

Whenever someone asks where they should start with wedding planning, I immediately tell them about The Luxe Affair. I cannot express just how valuable their services are. The amount of stress I felt over my wedding day running smoothly was unbelievable. I was doing the planning mostly on my own, but knowing that I would have Amanda and Kayla there as day-of coordinators was such a huge relief. The morning of my wedding I was SO overwhelmed, but as soon as I saw the Luxe team I knew I had nothing to worry about. They made sure my venue looked gorgeous, clothing was steamed, bridal party members were where they needed to be, and vendors were managed. If I could have had them there the whole night I would have! I will never not recommend Amanda and her team. The best decision I made on my wedding day was having them there. -

The best person to ease your mind
I wish I could write more but, if you are on the fence of getting a wedding planner do not second guess. To have someone to call that has to input on you day and to get the answer you need is so important. Amanda and her team had to run to the store to get the groom and a groomsmen suspenders and a shirt at the outlets by our venue & happened very quickly and smoothly. She is the best! -

Great Experience!
We hired Amanda and her team to assist with just our ceremony for our wedding. I am so happy we did! We rented all of our decor so it was so nice to not have to worry about setting things up and gathering the items after the ceremony. Amanda and her team handled it all and did a beautiful job! She also ran our ceremony rehearsal and ensured everything on the day of went smoothly. She was a pleasure to work with and I'm so happy we made the decision to hire her! Highly recommend!! -

Great Decision!
I am very thankful I found Amanda. We had a micro-wedding this fall at a venue that came with two wedding coordinators. At first, I did not think I had to hire my own planner since the venue already came two. However, thankfully, I had heard from various friends that got married why hiring your own personal one is needed - and they were right. It is not uncommon for a wedding venue to change staff, which means things can fall in the cracks. And, that happened in my case. Although this was a small wedding, there was decor I needed help setting up and I could only trust Amanda and her team to do it for me. I knew with her, especially based on her reviews, things would get done. I really appreciate that she was able to set up at the reception, coordinate the flower confetti toss at my ceremony, and consistently checked in with me. To be honest, at first these seemed like little things but boy it is so necessary to have a professional by your side because you do not want your family/guests to be dealing with set up or other little errands. If I could do things again, I would have relooked at my budget to hire her as a planner as opposed to day of. This really is such an important person to have! I highly recommend her for any of the services she offers! I am so lucky I found her because she truly helped make our wedding day be magical! -

Amazing experience!
Amanda and her team were incredible on our wedding day. Everything went so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Amanda handled all the logistics with the other vendors and ensured our getting ready experience and ceremony went off without a hitch. She was amazing with communication before the wedding, so easy to get ahold of and always willing to answer any questions.
She was invaluable during photos by helping me with my dress and helping my husband with a fan as it was 90+ degrees on our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Amanda and her team were absolutely incredible from start to finish. -

You need Amanda at your wedding!
Don’t think twice and hire Amanda and her team IMMEDIATELY! We can’t imagine how our wedding day would have gone if they hadn’t been there helping us with every little detail. We hired Amanda as a day-of coordinator, but she was an invaluable resource throughout our planning process. We’re a pretty organized and detail-oriented couple, but we still had a lot of questions and things we hadn’t thought of especially as we got closer to our wedding. It was amazing to have Amanda to bounce ideas off of and to give us suggestions when we needed it.
Amanda was beyond professional and organized the entire time we worked with her, and she made coordinating between all our vendors and organizing everything a completely seamless process. We would have been *so* stressed leading up to and on our wedding day without Amanda and her team there to make everything run without a hitch. Instead, we got to enjoy the day worry-free! There was absolutely nothing they didn’t think of ahead of time and no request they wouldn’t help out with. Who knows what our ceremony would have looked like without Amanda guiding us, but it was absolutely perfect thanks to her helpful direction.
Best of all, Amanda and her team were incredibly friendly and warm and it was really fun to have them at our wedding! Our families and guests all loved them 😊. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner or coordinator, we can’t recommend it enough and you should definitely make it Amanda! We would rate her way more than five stars if we could!!!-

Saved our winter wedding!
The definition of perfection and professionalism. This is the best way I could describe how AMAZING Amanda and her team were for our wedding. We were supposed to get married on a cruise but, due to covid just months before our wedding the cruise company canceled. Amanda came in and helped us plan the wedding of our dreams when we thought all hope was lost. She helped us review every contract, gave us invitation templates, attended almost all meetings with us, came up with questions for the vendors and so much more. With the nature of covid we had over 2 dozen cancellations within a week before our wedding. Amanda's kind and comforting spirit helped us cope with the situation. She also helped us rearrange seating charts and was helping fix place cards up until the night before the wedding. Amanda and her team went above and beyond on the day of our wedding. Our wedding was beautiful beyond our dreams thanks to the amazing job Amanda and her team did setting up all of the décor. Also, one of her assistants was with us outside the entire duration of photos despite it being 3 degrees! Working with Amanda did not feel like work at all! She made wedding planning feel so easy and so much less stressful. Hiring Amanda's Errands and Events was the best decision we ever made and will be the best decision you ever make when you hire her for your wedding.-

Amazing experience!
We hired Amanda pretty last minute in our wedding planning process, we were very nervous about how our wedding ceremony and venue would get set up. we both had a certain vision in mind, and Amanda absolutely nailed it. Because we hired her late in the process we only spoke with her 2 times. but she was extremely organized and figured out our vision right away. When we finally saw the ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces the day of, they were PERFECT!!! Amanda truly brought our wedding vision to life and brought us so much peace of mind. We cant thank her enough! -

Amanda is an amazing wedding planner
My wife and I hired Amanda last minute to help us plan our out of state wedding in New Jersey. We had about 6 weeks to plan a wedding for 20 people in a state she had never worked in before. She was able to find us an amazing reception venue at the last minute and was amazing on the day of as well. Every vendor that worked with her for our wedding had nothing but great things to say about working with her. During the planning and on the day of our wedding, everything went perfectly and we really enjoyed working with her. Our wedding wouldn't have been possible with out her.-

Great Experience/Great Decision
First of all, if you are on the fence about needing a Day of Coordinator/Planner.. you absolutely do. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Amanda and Elisa there to help. Initially I hired Amanda because I didn’t know where to start with the day of schedule and order of events. I wanted someone to help keep myself and everyone else on schedule. But oh my goodness did she do WAY more than that. Amanda basically took over communication with my vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and that actually gave me some time to breathe and finalize other last minute details without feeling overwhelmed. Amanda came to the rescue for both my husband and I, when my spanx wouldn’t stay in place and my hook on the top of my dress broke, she fixed both with her supplies from her emergency day of kit. She then had to do something similar for a ripped stitch in my husbands suit. On top of helping with our day of schedules/order of events and our attire mishaps, I don’t know how I would have set everything up in time to get ready and do all of our wedding stuff in time without her. She set everything up for me PERFECTLY and exactly as I was picturing. I couldn’t have asked for someone more personable and great to work with. Amanda is incredibly professional and organized, and it was wonderful to have someone who cared about us and didn’t only treat it as a job. Thank you Amanda and your team for being such a big part in making our wedding day perfect!! -

Amanda and her team are absolutely amazing! I wasn't really considering hiring a day of coordinator, but now I couldn't have imagined by wedding day without them. Amanda was very helpful in the weeks leading up to my wedding and asked me questions I didn't even think of while planning. Her team was on time and very professional on the day of, and even picked up the lunch I ordered on the way to the venue which was super helpful. Her team helped my husband find a pocket square style he liked, which was the one detail he was picky about. They made sure my vision for the day came true. I can't rave enough about Amanda and her team. They are totally affordable and I love how easy the website is to navigate! -

Exceptional!
We had to switch our original wedding plans due to COVID and ended up with an intimate dinner affair with our closest friends and family. We still wanted it to be special and a night to remember. We left all the decor and design planning in Amanda’s hands and we were blown away. We used the same room for dinner as our getting ready room for pictures beforehand. Not only did Amanda and her team clean up our awful mess, but they completely transformed the room. I couldn’t believe it was the same space! She was fantastic to work with, her whole team! I would recommend them in a heartbeat!! -

Absolutely Perfect!
Hiring Amanda and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We needed someone just to coordinate the rehearsal and ceremony and they were perfect for it. We had to completely change everything due to COVID-19 and she handled all the changes in stride and was super accomodating with my requests for the ceremony (and not to mention just overall easy to talk to). We hired Amanda for the full service wedding planning. Amanda and her team are great! Little did we know that 2020 would be a pandemic and that our wedding would have multiple changes. We got married on 10/02/2020. Amanda was always sending us messages and ensuring we were on track with our plans. Planning of wedding
Amanda and her team stepped up for me and my husband in our time of need. We had a different planner cancel on us because of covid. Amanda was professional friendly kind and on top of everything. If you do nothing else, hire Amanda!
This was my 2nd wedding and I was on a budget but was worried about how the day would flow from the getting ready space-> ceremony-> reception space...there was so much going on I knew I needed help. I met Amanda through a friend and I am so happy we hired her! She calmed my nerves leading up to the event with a great schedule and was available all the time to answer questions...even all the dumb ones! The moment she walked into the room the day of the wedding I was immediately at ease. She helped with coordinating helping my Dad get ready who has Alzheimer's, she left and went to the tux rental place to grab a missing groomsmen jacket (all before pictures started) helped open to doors to my 300 year old church and make the entrance so grand (and fixed the doors in 30 sec as they wouldn't open!) and helped with all the other big and small moments. She's so professional but also makes you feel like a friend which is comforting on your wedding day. I am telling you don't be cheap.....add this to your budget!! You won't be disappointed. -

Dream Team!
I had met Amanda in 2018 when she was the Day of Coordinator for my best friends wedding in Cooperstown, NY. I was getting married in Long Island, NY and wasn’t sure if she’d be willing to make the trip down, but had to ask after the impeccable job she did for my friend. She said yes! From there everything was a breeze. Communication, questions answered- an easy to navigate google doc with the timeline for the day of that she and I both utilized. We had a lot of logistics that needed to be organized- church ceremony at 3, pictures after, cocktail hour at 7:30, reception 8:30-12:30, after party. She handled it all with poise and grace. Her team is amazing also. They assembled the welcome bags, the bathroom baskets- worked directly with the venue to make sure everything was executed as we envisioned. We were so lucky to have her help and professionalism to help us get through our big day! -

I literally can't say enough good things about the team at Amanda's! Deep into planning my wedding, I finally decided that I just couldn't do it all on my own. Amanda and her team came in and saved my brain from many wedding planning melt downs. They were a total dream. Amanda helped us create a super detailed timeline for the day, coordinated with our vendors, helped set up decor, and generally just made sure everything went smoothly on the day of so we didn't need to be stressed about anything! Every hiccup was handled before I even knew about it. If you're getting married you NEED them in your life. -

Amanda and her team are spectacular, you can't go wrong with hiring them.
Hire Amanda and her team first and use her recommendations. They are an amazing team and have very obviously done a lot of weddings. They're professional and very sweet and think of a lot of things that are necessary as only pros can do. They're able to work with difficult vendors and people and they really made our day amazing through all the trouble the venue and other vendors caused. She and her team are AMAZING. They've also done multicultural weddings and are GREAT and very open to all sorts of ideas and plans. They prepare but also go with the flow. Hire her and don't select a wedding venue until you've talked to her. She knows her way around upstate NY wedding vendors. Tip from someone who just had a multicultural wedding - hire a wedding planner you click with and then go from there - Amanda is amazing and anyone she recommended was above and beyond. She gave me an Indian Make-up Artists who also did a fantabulous job and helped me with sooooooo many decisions - in fact, I think I left a lot of decisions to Amanda and I don't regret any decision I left to her. Really, if you're having an upstate wedding, go with her. She was so flexible and accommodating and we were all living in different places and had to plan from afar and did most of our communication by phone/email. -

Great help!
Amanda and her team were amazing. I booked them to decorate and take down decorations. I have a hard time leaving details in someone else's hands but everything was done just how I had imagined. They were such a huge help coming back at the end of the night and breaking down all of the decorations. Lisa was great with calling and checking in before the wedding to make sure they had everything in order. -

Amanda was recommended by another bride who got married at our venue and let me tell you, she was SO WORTH IT! I was having so much anxiety and was so stressed leading up to the wedding and she was on top of ever single detail! Vendors that I could not get a hold of she was in constant contact with, she took the time to understand EVERYTHING i was envisioning and executed exactly as planned. On top of it all, she spent her birthday (which i didn't know at the time or i'd never ask her to be there) walking my group through the rehearsal multiple times until it was perfect!!! Her team was sweet, caring, and a joy to be around, we couldn't be happier with her being apart of our day -

Blew us away so good!
Hiring Amanda as the day of coordinator was the best thing we could have done. We weren’t sure at first what exactly we would need Amanda to do but once we had our meeting I knew it was the right choice to settle some nerves. Amanda and Christine arrived right on schedule with items to help the girls with hair/makeup and if any little mishap happened they were prepared for us. They helped out the men with final touches and set up the venue to look beyond incredible (photos attached) Amanda helped the photographer with photos by holding bouquets and even carrying the back of my dress and fluffing it out to look perfect. We had the best experience with Amanda and Christine and would recommend them to everyone-

Amazing Amanda
People ask what was the best part of our wedding day.
It was that we didn't have to worry about anything. Amanda, always with a smile, handled everything. She had so many ideas to help me plan. She never pressured us into something I didn't want. I hadn't on planning getting any kind of planner or help on my wedding day, but my now-husband recommended them and booked them during the planning process. We booked them for the Day of Coordination. Amanda and her awesome ladies were very energetic. They met with us multiple times before the wedding to help us plan a timeline and connect all the vendors together. Day of my wedding I didn't have to worry about a single thing. They took care of the lunch for my guests and wedding party, the set up and break down of the ceremony site, the set up of the dinner reception and the clean up and transportation of all the items to my apartment. I didn't think of a single thing and really got to enjoy my wedding day to the fullest. I can't say enough good things about them. They really are worth the money and more. -

Words cannot describe what an amazing job Amanda and Lisa did for me on my wedding day. Amanda took care of me weeks before my wedding day by aligning all of my vendors and making sure every little detail was accounted for. She made a lot of the last minute planning for me completely stress free. On the day of the wedding, Amanda and Lisa were so helpful in everything from running errands to decorating and stayed with us until the end of night even though they had a long drive home. She was able to turn my venue into my dream wedding with very little instruction. I think what's amazing was that she was able to put her own creative spin and vision into what would look nice and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. My wedding was perfect and out of all of my vendors, Amanda and Lisa was definitely one of my favorites! She was responsible, attentive, and professional the entire time! I wish I had more friends getting married because I would without a doubt recommend them! -

Amanda and her assistant Lisa were incredible. I met Amanda a few weeks before our wedding with our event coordinator and she listened to everything I needed to be done the day of our wedding. She was the only day of coordinator I found that was flexible with our budget. We did not need a start to finish coordinator because our wedding was on the smaller side, just someone to help make sure a few things ran smoothly and went as it needed to be, like the ceremony and reception. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Hire her for all your wedding needs, big or small. -

Working with Amandas errands and events/2 girls on a mission was by far the best thing I could have done. I used this service for my wedding day to set up and take down all flowers and decor. They were amazing to work with. Fast and efficient without requiring a lot of guidance. Amanda and Lisa were invaluable, I would certainly use again and recommend to others with praise. Amanda and Lisa were absolutely wonderful to work with. We had 2 phone call meetings before my wedding, and I felt confident that Amanda had everything under control. Amanda and Lisa delivered 150 cupcakes, transported my flowers from the church to the venue, set up lawn games and decorations for cocktail hour, and made sure the reception started without a hitch. At the end of the night, they made sure everything was picked back up and put away safely so I didn't have to worry about a thing. I couldn't recommend Amanda for a day of coordinator more, and was absolutely the most reasonable price I found when looking for someone to help out that day. -

Amanda was incredible from start to finish! See is incredibly organized, kind, and just the perfect person you want by your side on your wedding day!
Starting from the planning, she was quick to answer questions, she came up with the perfect itinerary, contacted all vendors, and made sure everything was all set for the big day! She showed up on the wedding day with the plan and any thing we could need from pins to deodorant! She & Lisa were a joy to be around and helped get everyone where they needed to be on time.

Day of Coordinator in a pinch
We hired Amanda's team for day of coordination for our 50 person, COVID, south asian wedding in August. We hired a team of 3 about 4-6 weeks before the wedding to help with ensuring everything stays on schedule, pick up the cake from the bakery, assist the guests with issues, enforce hand hygiene and masks, and to assist the wait-staff. It was a South Asian wedding which Amanda's team has some experience with, but I sent her a very detailed spreadsheet and itinerary of all the portions of the wedding day and dinner with clear instructions on what was to be done. Overall, about 75% of the tasks were done well - all the guests got their masks, knew where to sit and when to get food, etc. But, there were several instances when I felt on the wedding day I had to step in to instruct or direct Amanda's team. For instance, when it was time for the cake cutting, the cake was no where to be found and we awkwardly waited for Amanda's team to go get the cake and bring it to the stage for cutting. Amanda's team was supposed to put the flowers on the cake as well, but I ended up doing this myself right before I walked down the aisle. They were otherwise very nice, friendly and flexible. I'm sure they were a bit out of their element with a South Asian wedding, but I wish there was a bit more intuition and foresight into thinking ahead and anticipating issues/needs from their team. -
