My husband and I got married at the Lodges in June. We are currently stationed overseas which made some aspects of planning difficult. Beth and her staff at the Lodges were incredible in coordinating with us through a 6 hour time difference. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. All of the little details came together. I could not have asked for a better day.
On a smaller but equally important note: we loved that food from the reception had been wrapped up and left in our suite. It was awesome to come back, realizing we had missed a lot of the food while dancing and mingling, and have several boxes of food waiting. -

This venue offers exceptional value and truly stands out in every way-from it's outstanding customer service and stunning grounds with breathtaking mountain and lake views, to its exquisite cuisine and elegant banquet space. It was more than just a venue- it was the perfect setting for memories we will cherish forever. We experienced the perfect day from the moment we arrived to the very end of the night, everything was handled with warmth, care and excellence! -

Best Wedding Venue
My husband and I got married in August 2025 and this venue was the best decision we made. The lodges have a micro wedding package that helps with small weddings. We had a small wedding with about 45 people, and the micro packages have lots included in the price. Other venues have super expensive venue fees, but the lodges are very reasonable and have amazing generous staff.
Beth is amazing to work with as well. She is quick with responses and is always willing to work with you. There were great venders that work well with the Lodges too. I was able to have my own photographer, and they worked with me to help keep my vision alive. fantastic views, fantastic food and service. Guests loved having cabins on the same property as well and not having to drive anywhere after reception. Weather was perfect and not hot at all. The lake ceremony was perfect. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any event needed. -

We toured several venues and really liked The Lodges and Beth, the Director of Events. She was very prompt in her responses, very accommodating for meetings and tours as well as very consultative. The food at the wedding was delicious, all the preferred vendors that we chose were very good to work with and the staff was very polite and attentive. The area by the pond made for a beautiful wedding backdrop. Our guests enjoyed the cabins for sleeping accommodations. Overall, we really felt The Lodges was a great choice for our wedding event. -

The most magical wedding!
My wedding was nothing short of magic thanks to everyone at the lodges! I worked with Beth through the entire process and she was my day of coordinator. She made the day flow perfectly and went the extra mile. She answered my endless questions over the last year and I couldn't have dreamed of a better day! It was perfect and everyone had a blast! We had our wedding at the Lodges on May 4th, 2024 and I can't express enough how happy we were with the entire process leading up to the wedding and on the day of! Beth made planning the wedding so easy on us and was very clear and upfront about everything we needed to expect the day of. Thankfully we had a rain plan in place because it rained the day of but even the rain couldn't put a damper on our day! The staff were so helpful in cleaning up the few decorations we did have and putting them all together for us to collect the next day. The food was delicious and being able to walk to our cabins after the party was such a nice addition and one less thing to worry about. Our guests thought that aspect was perfect as well. The cabins are very nice and include even more amenities than what you would get in a standard hotel room. It truly was just a wonderful experience for everyone and I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking! The venue also left a little jar of water in our complimentary room on the wedding night with a little note explaining that it was rain water collected that we could then use to water a new tree or bless our kids with or whatever we wanted, which to me was just the sweetest, most thoughtful thing and above and beyond anything we could have expected! So so so glad we had our wedding here! -

We were so fortunate to book the Lodges at Gettysburg for our intimate wedding. The weather was outstanding for our beautiful lakeside ceremony. The Terrace room and patio offered a spectacular overlook of the valley with Little and Big Roundtop. Beth and Matia were extremely helpful, meticulous, and professional in both the planning and wedding day schedule of events. All guests agreed the food was delicious and staff were great. We highly recommend this venue. -

We had a wonderful experience having our wedding at The Lodges at Gettysburg. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They helped with setting up decorations as well as taking them down for us after. Our coordinators Beth and Lisa were just phenomenal from the day we booked the venue to the day of the wedding. Highly recommend! -

My husband and I selected The Lodges at Gettysburg for our wedding because they offered everything that we needed. We wanted a venue that we can have the ceremony whether it would be inside or outside, an area for the reception, and places for our guests to stay if they choose to. When it came to our wedding day, Lisa Leonard was our event coordinator and she was amazing. There was a schedule that was followed to the tee. The Lodges at Gettysburg is an excellent venue to have a wedding. -

I could not have asked for a better venue, event coordinator, or day of coordinator. We did not have a SINGLE hiccup with our wedding from start to finish. Beth messaged with every update and every next step. She was patent with me when I didn't have myself together and made an exception to a minor issue we had no questions asked. Matia was ON TOP OF IT the ENTIRE time we were there from the rehearsal to the very last song. She made sure we had drinks and anything we could have needed. Everything stayed perfectly to schedule because of her. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. They let us set up the day before so we didn't have to do it day of and scramble. The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks were top tier. I seriously could not have asked for a better day. If I had to go back and do it all over again I would pick The Lodges every time. -

We had a truly incredible wedding at the Lodges at Gettysburg (LAG). From the very first day we toured the venue to the post-wedding teardown, LAG staff were kind and helpful at every step. Our day-of coordinator, Beth Senseney, was incredible and worked with us throughout the process to create the wedding we were dreaming of. She was very responsive (even over email!) and had a lot of great ideas she brought to the table to help us turn our vision into reality. Since LAG also does the catering and lodging I'll also say that the food was amazing and all our guests were raving about it, the individual lodges for guests are lovely and our guests had a great time staying on-site, the location is exactly what we wanted (rural, historic, elegant), and we were able to decorate the ballroom to our exact specifications. One of our favorite things about this whole process was that the Lodges has cultivated a fantastic group of vendors who have done dozens of weddings together- we just picked a few from the LAG list and they all worked together to create a perfect ceremony and reception.
All in all I really think that if you choose the Lodges at Gettysburg as your wedding venue you will not just have a fun wedding, you will be able to create some amazing, lasting memories for both you and your guests without any of the all-too-common stories of negative vendor/venue experiences.The Lodges at Gettysburg's reply:

Covid Delayed Wedding
My husband and I got engaged during the pandemic. We originally had plans to be married over in a resort, however due to the constant changes that Covid brought all of us, we decided to do something back home and go there for our honeymoon. We wanted something small and intimate for immediate family, but we also wanted to celebrate with our close friends and other family. The lodges was more than welcoming to accommodate those needs and wants we wanted for our day. We decided to have a small ceremony that included our bridal party and our immediate family. From the bridal suite allowing me time with my girls to get ready for the day, from all the groomsmen hanging out in the grooms room we picked for the day which included a pool table and different things for them to do to keep them occupied while we got ready, it was the perfect set up with lots of room. The ballroom was gorgeous and everything we could have asked for especially with the staircase decorated. We celebrated with a small dinner afterwards at the venue which allowed us time to spend with our guests and family members while enjoying food and drinks after the big day.
We went for our honeymoon in Dominican Republic and came back 3 weeks later to the Lodges to hold our reception in the place where we got married. From the decorations, to the food, and of course the staff, we were MORE THAN HAPPY with how the day was. Our guests raved about how beautiful everything was and how attentive the staff was to our guests to get them anything and everything that day.
I cannot say enough about Beth and her wonderful staff who made sure on both days that we were taken care of from something as little as making sure that the temperature in the suites were perfect for us to helping me pin up my dress after someone accidentally stepped on it. We love the Lodges and all of their staff members for making our day everything we have waited for.
We will definitely be celebrating with them for anniversaries to come and date nights out! I HIGHLY recommend choosing them as your vendor!

My daughter wanted to get married at The Lodges at Gettsyburg and I could not have asked for a better place. From the 1st meeting to the day of the wedding, was such a great experience. Summer Wedding at The Lodges
We had our wedding at The Lodges this summer and it was everything we pictured for our day and MORE! With guests being able to stay on site, it created an intimate atmosphere where we saw all of our favorite people ALL weekend long! From coordinating all of the little details, to making sure the bride was taken care of the day of, this wedding experience was stress free and absolutely wonderful! Beth made everything run smoothly and made sure all of our requests were handled! The food was absolutely delicious and the complimentary suite for bride and groom for the night of was beautiful! Perfect, dreamy, stress-free day
We wish we could give six stars! We got married late this summer at the Lodges and feel so lucky to have found this venue. Natural beauty, historic charm, a truly seamless planning process, incredible location, memorable “destination” weekend for our guests, amazing food, the most helpful staff, and an all star vendor list made for the perfect weekend in every way. Beth was our coordinator and she was a brilliant collaborator in every sense of the word. In what could have been a very stressful weekend, she somehow kept all the details in check for us and our guests. She thinks of everything!! Plus, she’s so much fun to work with and from the first time we met her, we felt we could be our true selves. One particular moment that sticks out is after the ceremony when Heather (the bride) went to get her dress bustled. Beth brought her a drink and hors d'oeuvres which was so needed! These are the ‘small things’ that marketing can’t really describe but truly made it the absolute best experience and the happiest day of our lives. Beth has also done a ton of weddings with the vendors on their “preferred list” which gave us much confidence that everything would go smoothly. Absolutely stunning venue and wonderful experience!
My husband and I got married at The Lodges in May, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day or pleasant experience. From start to finish, we felt so cared for by the kind staff at The Lodges. Beth was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, from our initial tour to all the coordination leading up to the day. Lisa was wonderful to work with day of, and she helped communicate with the vendors and kept everything on schedule.
Some highlights of our day were the horse and carriage, cabins for guests, the bonfire, and the farewell breakfast. It truly did feel like a whole wedding weekend, since many people stayed onsite and attended the farewell breakfast. We appreciated all of the time we had to decorate the space to make it feel unique to us, although it's beautiful on its own. We could not have been happier with the staff, food, venue itself, or experience here and highly recommend The Lodges! -

Beth is absolutely amazing to work with! She was so responsive to emails and phone calls and we always could rely on her to make sure everything was taken care of. All staff at the Lodges are so friendly and helpful. Even at the date night in March, staff constantly checked on us and made sure we knew that we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. The venue is gorgeous and we had such happy wedding guests! Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back to visit! -

Groom's family, we loved the choice!
Our son and daughter in law got married at the Lodges in May. We had a large contingent of guests stay at for one to two nights and everyone loved the cabins. The staff was very responsive before, during and after the wedding, including shuffling lodging as needed for our numerous guests. We were able to do some decorating the day before to personalize the reception space, wooded walkway down to the water, etc. I would highly recommend adding the farewell breakfast the following morning. We had decided on a small, lowkey wedding and knew our options were limited when we started planning in April for a wedding by the end of the year. Beth from the Lodges replied quickly and helped us through ever step of the process. She was very responsive to emails and our endless questions. The day of, she was invaluable as we navigated rain showers and had to make decisions on whether to hold our ceremony indoors or out. Absolutely nothing bad to say- so flexible with vendors and helped to make our day stress-free and flowing along. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, even if you are having a smaller wedding! -

Perfect and Amazing !! Best location for our outdoor wedding by the lake. We’ve been coming to The Lodges at Gettysburg for 3 years now..We got engaged there and decided we had to have our wedding there. Since we live so far away we contacted Beth and she was so pleasant and made our dreams come true .. We love the Lodges and the staff was amazing too .. Beth took care of all the details and then some. ( sorry for all the emails. Haha ) she is amazing and goes out of her way for you !! ( like even driving me to the cabin to change out of my dress ) haha. We had a nice small family rustic wedding. The details were perfect and the Horse and Carriage ride added the final touch .. Beth gave us vendors to choose from and coordinated with them and made it easy on us .. Everyone was amazing and helpful !! They make you feel at home and special !! We had our Family and Friends stay there for 4 days to enjoy and relax ! We were all able to hang out and enjoy the cabins and the beautiful property.. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious!! The Chef did an awesome job on the dinner. The steak and fish were delicious!! Loved it !! Our bartender Kolten was the best !! We absolutely loved Everything the lodges did for us and how they went out of their way to accommodate our requests !! We were truly blessed !! We have nothing but great things to say about The Lodges at Gettysburg! Beth and her team made our day a dream. They listen to your every need and make your dreams come true. When we first saw the property, we knew that we would be saying our vows down by the lake. The amenities are perfect for small or large weddings. We had our welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception onsite. The food was amazing, the packages are fairly priced, the lodging was very accommodating for our out of town guests, the views are tranquil, and the staff is beyond helpful. We are blessed that in choosing the Lodges at Gettysburg for our venue, we found Beth, Kayla, and Bob! We are still in awe when we look back on everything they did for us to help prepare our wedding. Their flexibility, attention to detail, and experience in the industry are just a few things that stand out about our experience with the Lodges. Our coordinators, Beth and Kayla were prompt in their response times and did everything in their power to help us save money. The Lodges caterer, Great American caterers, owned by Bob, was fantastic! The portion sizes were great for our PA dutch family, and the food was a hit. Overall, the best thing we did was choose the Lodges for our wedding venue!The Lodges at Gettysburg's reply:

*The most amazing wedding venue, team, catering, and more* Choosing The Lodges at Gettysburg for our wedding venue was the best decision we could of ever made. It was love at first sight honestly. The second we arrived for our walk-thru and saw the beautiful overlook, dreamy ceremony site, reception hall and lodging, we had no doubt this was the venue for us - & our experience only got better! Plus, who doesn't want a venue where you get picked up by golf carts and have the option for a bonfire after your reception?! Aside from the gorgeous setting and convenience, this venue is all-inclusive with one caterer that they use onsite who has lots of options to pick from & is DELISH. You really get the most for your money including tables, chairs, linens, dishware, and even centerpiece options (the list goes on!) Which made our wedding planning experience so much easier. The team at The Lodges are incredible. We worked with Beth leading up to our wedding day and had Denise as our day of coordinator. Both ladies are a dream to work with. The day of event staff were so nice - We truly can't thank them enough for the time, effort and love they put into making sure our day was anything less than perfect! The Lodges at Gettysburg proved to be the perfect place for our wedding reception. The view from the Lodges made us fall for the venue and we were glad that we hosted the event here. It was a great experience from beginning itself, as Beth helped and guided us at every step to keep our event within the budget and yet have the best experience. Luckily for us, the fall colors were at its peak on the day of our event, and it looked gorgeous. Our event manager Matia and other staff members were helpful and ensured that the event was organized in a smooth manner. Another great feature at the venue were the lodges (rooms), which were spacious, comfortable, and artistic. Nona assisted with all our guests’ reservations, and we did not even have to look into it. Everything at the Lodges was well managed and executed. Only downside was that due to Covid-1, breakfast and lunch was not available at the venue. The Lodges at Gettysburg undoubtedly provides the perfect gateway to host your wedding and would strongly recommend it to my family and friends.

Planning a wedding from AZ was not the easiest thing to do but having Beth, Kayla, and vendors from The Lodges preferred vendor list made all the difference. We looked through a few venues online, but quickly knew this was the place for us. It felt comfortable from the pictures alone and we love the area. Our vendors and Lodge staff pulled together to make our wedding experience exactly what we wanted. We were able to visit the venue a few months prior to the wedding and it just confirmed everything we hoped for. We had our ceremony inside and everything looked great. If you can schedule yours during some warmer weather the outside ceremony space couldn't be more perfect. Might not be for everyone but we found it beautiful. The separate cocktail hour space had the perfect vibe and we were able to join our guests before introductions. That brings me to the bartender. If you didn't know what you wanted, you found out pretty quickly as he seemed to know that if you wanted a cranberry vodka that just meant you haven't tried an upside down pineapple something or other. Everyone enjoyed his skills and professionalism. Now for the reception. The vendors have worked together multiple times which made things work without everyone coming to us for questions all night. The meals were very tasty and got many thumbs up from our guests. You will see highly decorated reception room photos online but this room doesn't need much to make it look beautiful. We didn't have flowers on tables and only had our DJ's effects plus some extra touches that our families pulled together. The Lodges provides centerpieces that have just enough character and charm to get the job done. Keep it simple, save some money, and let the room do the work. It really did feel comfortable and classy. Our package included a sparkler send off that The Lodges organized completely and coordinated with our photographer. Perfect way to almost end the evening and get some cool photos. I say almost because our package also included a bonfire from 8pm-10pm. Some guests headed for their lodges but many gathered around the fire to share stories and enjoy some coffee and hot chocolate. Even though it was weather-permitting and there was slight drizzle, The Lodges made it happen. We said our good nights and headed to the Michigan Lodge for our wedding night which was also part of the package for one night. Loved this lodge!! All our guests stayed at several lodges on the property and we got to see most of them. There are several different configurations that make it easy for families to share different spaces. Some had 3 rooms with multiple sleeping options in each. The lodges have a lodge atmosphere. Might see a bug or two and maybe every corner didn’t get the white glove treatment but they were cleaner than some of the rooms in my home. No issues at all with cleanliness and everything worked. Plenty of hot water and these really cool electric fireplaces. Almost forgot…the standard grooms room where we were supposed to get ready was being remodeled so we were given the upgrade room which had a pool table and some other touches that made that time a little easier to relax before the ceremony. The bride's room had the same comfort and class to provide for all those perfect wedding pics. A few extra touches is all that is needed to give it your own personality and flare. Make this venue your spot and you can rest easy that your wedding day will turn out amazing. -

We fell in love with The Lodges as soon as we arrived. Not only is it a beautiful venue but Beth was warm and welcoming from the start. We had originally planned to get married in December of 2022, but when a job opportunity presented itself on the west coast my now husband and I decided to get married in September of 2021. The Lodges not only made it possible to plan a wedding in three months but they made the experience enjoyable. Beth and her entire team were responsive and extremely accommodating. Lisa was our day of coordinator who was also wonderful and helped the day go so smoothly. I could not have imagined a more perfect day or place to get married!! -

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with everything that the Lodges at Gettysburg did for us. My husband and I booked the Lodges as our venue in June 2020 for our October 2021. From booking, Beth was there the entire way to help us plan out our day and answer questions for us! Beth provided us with a list of preferred vendors and we picked all of our vendors from the list! Everyone was amazing and the Lodges also offers a spa credit when purchasing a reception package! We had most of our family and wedding party stay at the lodges on property for the wedding weekend which made the experience so great since we were able to hang out with everyone before, during, and after our celebration. At the reception, the food was SO GOOD and all of our guests are still talking about it! The service and staff were all so friendly and helpful and we really felt loved and special on our day. They made us feel at home and it felt more special than your typical wedding venue. We absolutely loved our day and I couldn't have imagined going anywhere else! Before going on venue tours I had done extensive research online to find a venue that matched all of our criteria-woodsy, decently affordable within our budget, overnight lodging that was not a hotel, allowed our dog onsite, and not too far from home. The Lodges met all of our criteria and much more!! The Lodges was the only venue we ended up touring because we loved it so much, and we booked the day after touring! Some of the perks that I learned along the booking process was that we received a “free” cake if we used one of their preferred vendors, a credit towards one of their preferred spas, a lodge for the two of us the night after the wedding included (with an extra meal from the wedding and cake, and champagne and flower petals included in the room!), and much more. Booking with the Lodges made it not only a special day, but a full wedding weekend! Since there was not a wedding the day before ours Beth allowed me to do some early setting up which I appreciated SO much and made the wedding more much less stressful. We also were able to have our wedding rehearsal dinner, bonfire after dinner he reception, the majority of guests staying overnight in cabins on-site, and morning after the wedding brunch at the Lodges which made it so fun and also made it easy for our out of town party members to be able to stay onsite for the full weekend. The night before the wedding all of my bridesmaids stayed in a cabin which was so much fun and I loved waking up at our wedding venue. I had many questions and requests leading up to the wedding (being in the wedding industry and my natural detail oriented nature lol!) which Beth always responded to quickly and kindly. The day of the wedding the staff (Nona, Matia, Beth, and more) were all so attentive, helpful, excited, and professional. I also greatly appreciated that their staff moved my wedding decor from the ceremony to the reception! The food and drinks for the whole weekend were also absolutely delicious. So many guests commented that the venue was absolutely “perfect” for us as a couple and I couldn’t agree! We are so grateful to have found this hidden woodsy gem in Gettysburg and I will continue to recommend it to my friends and clients! Thank you Beth and the rest of the Lodges team!! -

Our daughter spied The Lodges at Gettysburg when looking for a reception venue near her wedding at Mount St Mary's; this is a hidden gem! As many times we visited Gettysburg, we never knew this was here; Beth is amazing; she helps plan your wedding, makes suggestions, and takes away the stress out of "what's next"; she comes with the package; no extra spent on a wedding coordinator; stays in contact throughout the planning and very responsive; our daughter referred to this as "the Dirty Dancing venue"; it's all in one spot--venue and accomodations; each lodge on the premises is named after a state in the Civil War, for all you history buffs; I can't say enough great things about The Lodges at Gettysburg; this place is gorgeous; they will not disappoint. We looked at multiple venues for our wedding and happened to stumble across the lodges after a recommendation from someone I work with. Beth and the entire team at the lodges made not only the planning much less stressful but the day absolutely memorable, enjoyable and perfect in every single way. Our guests really enjoyed the onsite accommodations as well as the Sunday morning brunch. Splurge a little to get the post reception bonfire, you won’t regret it.
Net/ net: the food was outstanding, and the evening, although packed with events, flowed without any issues. We highly recommend Beth, the Chef and the entire Lodges team! -

Having our wedding at the Lodges was one of the best choices we've ever made. From the lodging on site, to the decor, to the patient and kind staff, we couldn't have asked for any more for our wedding weekend. Since Covid hit, we stressed about how we were going to work through the small amount of people we could invite and the comfort level of our guests, but Beth couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating to us. Fairytale Dream Wedding!
Wow I'm not even sure where to start! All around wonderful experience. 10/30/20 covid bride! Beth was wonderful from the beginning. We fell in love with the Lodges back Dec 2019, we were able to have a week to decide if this was the place we wanted to go with which was great! You really can't beat the Lodges with water front ceremony and indoor back up options, the ballroom, guys and girls getting ready rooms and the lodges so you and all your guests can stay the night at a discount! The Wedding package included so many extra! tables, linens, center pieces, table numbers, free spa credits, if you choose one of the bakeries they recommend, its included in the price! Plus so many fun extras! They have a Date Night for couples to try the food and with all the recommended vendors that they provide. (of course you can choose your own)
Beth was available every step of the way through all my constant emails and questions. When Covid hit and things had to change Beth emailed us right away and already had a plan in motion. They set up a large tent! I never had to change my date and when it got closer the restrictions changed and was able to have my wedding inside. They had so much safety measures in place to keep everyone safe and happy. Sadly some of my guest weren't able after I already gave my count to the caterer, but I let Beth know and they were able to box up the extra meals for me so we could take them home the next day! The food was wonderful from the Carriage House Inn! After the wedding my husband and I went to our Lodge and waiting for us was some of our desserts (from Stone House Bakery- Yum!) food from the reception and a bottle of champagne! We were definitely spoiled.
I can't thank Beth and everyone else at the Lodges for helping make my dream wedding come true! From start to finish it was the best day ever! You honestly can't go wrong if you have your wedding here! -

We booked the Lodges at Gettysburg pre-COVID and were already blown away with how easy they make the wedding planning process, how beautiful the venue was, and the amazing value for money.
Then COVID hit, and while planning a wedding is stressful enough, planning it during the pandemic was even more so. Beth and the team at The Lodges at Gettysburg made it so much better. We were making changes due to local restrictions, guests changing their RSVPs at the last minute, extra safety measures we wanted to put into place, etc. up until literally the week of the wedding, and they were so flexible and put me at ease through it all.
It was important to me and my guests that everyone was safe, but was still able to celebrate our day. They truly went above and beyond for me to make sure that was accomplished.
The Lodges at Gettysburg makes planning your event so easy. They include virtually everything you need for your day of, their staff is amazing, and they have a fantastic network of vendors they work with that provided everything else I needed for the perfect day. They have the cutest on-site lodging that is so unique. All that for truly the best value in this area.
The staff made the day of such a breeze. I felt completely relaxed, as they took care of everything I needed. They were so attentive and kind. All my guests raved about the great food, the great time, and how much they enjoyed their stay (either the day of, or overnight).
I would 100% recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg to anyone looking to get married. -

Hallowedding 2020 - making it work!
I don't even know where to start with all the wonderful things about this venue - with our Halloween wedding, we knew we wanted somewhere that took advantage of the beautiful fall foliage but also had on-site accommodations (all of our guests would be traveling in for the wedding). The Lodges was the perfect answer for both - theyre tucked out in the middle of the woods and the view of the mountains from the ceremony site on the pond is so stunningly beautiful, and we got especially lucky with all the fall colors still on the trees on a beautiful clear day. The cabins on site are also beautifully put together and very cozy, we were exhausted after the wedding but that was some of the best sleep we'd had in a while, and the champagne in the room was such a lovely touch! All of the staff were wonderful as well, Beth was absolutely integral in bringing this all together - Carson described her as the lynchpin in this whole ordeal and he's absolutely spot-on. That we were able to pull all this together in the middle of a pandemic and keep everyone safe and healthy in the process is an absolute triumph, and we wouldn't have been able to make that happen without her, she was so good about listening to our concerns and helping us arrange a solution that would be comfortable for all our guests. On the day-of she was absolutely on top of the game (or so I'm told), right in the thick of it all with my now-husband and my mother, pulling everything together until Susie took over for the event. Susie was a dream as well, everything went so smoothly and any hiccups that came up during the event were quickly and efficiently ironed out, I never spent more than a minute worrying about any one thing before she'd resolved it and sent us off on our way to enjoy the evening. The waitstaff was amazing as well, our guests had lovely things to say about them all. Unsurprisingly, we also heard a lot of praise for "my boy Kolton" behind the bar, especially from the friends who kept a drink in our hands all night (we appreciate them and appreciate you, Kolton). Also, shout out to Stewart for braving the frigid cold night to take care of the bonfire for us, it was the perfect way to end the evening and that there was still a golf cart running people up and down was so greatly appreciated by our guests. The front desk staff was also wonderful - thank you girls for putting up with all our dumb requests, and thank you Nona for helping bring everything together and taking care of our guests! The Lodges were absolutely perfect for our wedding and gave us an amazing celebration that people have continued to praise us for - if you're looking for a venue that goes above and beyond, please take the time to visit these wonderful people at this beautiful location! -

My husband and I got married at the Lodges on 10/10/2020 and we are so happy that we did! With all of the confusion and worry that this year brought, due to COIVD-19, we never thought that we could have still had the wedding of our dreams. But despite everything, Beth and Suzie at the Lodges worked to make our dreams come true! Beth was so accommodating over the entire year of our engagement and showed that she truly cared about us. She stayed up to date on restrictions that were in place because of COVID and when things changed she let us know right away. We had to move our reception outside under a tent due to the restrictions, but they made the tent beautiful and in the end I couldn't have imagined it any other way! Suzie helped the rehearsal and the day itself be beautiful and go smoothly! And, in addition to both of them, the entire staff at the Lodges were so kind and welcoming the entire weekend. The ceremony site in front of the pond was absolutely gorgeous. Also, the cabins were beautiful and it was so fun being able to stay the weekend at the Lodges and not have to travel anywhere else. We are so thankful for all that the staff did to make our wedding amazing! We definitely recommend getting married at the Lodges at Gettysburg! -

When searching for a wedding venue we came across the Lodges at Gettysburg. When touring the area, we saw they had pet friendly lodges and lodges where guest could stay. We loved how there was a pond with a fountain at the ceremony site. They offer golf cart rides to the pond for your guests. Beth at the lodges helped me plan my wedding day. She was quick to respond to my emails and questions. She set up “Date Night” back in March which helped you pick different vendors and try food catered by the Carriage House Inn. We had a great time and the food was delicious. Beth helped us during the rehearsal before our wedding day. On our wedding day, she helped us set up and clean up after. She did an amazing job with everything! Wedding planning during COVID was challenging and the lodges was safe and followed the governs orders. They set up a tent outside so you could still have your reception. Originally our reception was going to be in the ballroom. The tables at our reception stayed the same. I loved the view and how our floating candles looked as the sun went down. You do not get that view in the ballroom. The groom and groomsmen loved the new Gloryridge Game Suite with the pool table. Our wedding was beautiful and was so fleeting. I would not have chosen a different venue. -

Amazing Experience!
We got married on 9/19/20 and everything about our day was perfect! Beth was amazing to work with in our time up to the wedding, and Suzie was incredibly helpful during our rehearsal and the day of. The "Date Night" that they hold every year was wonderful because we were able to find all of our vendors (DJ, Photographer, Hair, etc) at that event. We have had many compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how great the staff was the entire time. We loved it, and my husband and I both did not feel anxiety/stress because they were so organized and on top of staying in contact with us. We love you, Beth & Suzie and The Lodges at Gettysburg! We were supposed to get married in June of 2020 but unfortunately, with COVID19, we had to reschedule. Of course it was a difficult time for many of us but Beth made it as seamless as possible. She was extremely helpful every step of the way and was always quick to answer my questions (of which there were quite a few considering the times). Even when the gathering guidelines kept changing, we always had a plan. We ended up having our reception outdoors in a very large tent to adhere to the state guidelines. While it wasn't what we originally planned, it turned out perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better location or coordinator for our wedding!
*a little bit of advice however, if you know more than a week ahead of the wedding that guests have changed their mind about attending, tell Beth ASAP. Some of our guests decided more last minute due to the state of the virus and we weren't able to get a refund for their food or bar tab. We just ended up taking their meal home in to-go boxes...The Lodges at Gettysburg's reply:

Fantastic wedding - just in time!
My husband and I were married at the Lodges on March 14, 2020, right before the state shut down due to Covid 19. With all the uncertainty around what was happening, Beth and her staff went above and beyond to ease our nerves and pull off the perfect day!
Through the entire process, Beth was so welcoming, answering all our questions with a smile and pulling together the details. From her waitstaff and bartenders to the front desk staff - nothing short of AMAZING!!

Best. Day. Ever!
We had the wonderful opportunity to get married at The Lodges in October of 2019 and all I can say was that it was an absolute dream come true!!! Every detail is planned for, every worry is calmed, and every question is answered. Before the actual event, I was a bride with about 1,000 questions (sorry Beth!) and she always answered my emails timely, happily, and was beyond understanding! She also met with us to plan every step of the day out and ensured that each detail was exactly how we pictured it. She also made sure to offer a variety of options for decorations, placements, setups, times, colors, and much much more. The organization that goes into a wedding is crazy, but Beth takes it all on with a smile on her face! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after breakfast there and received so many compliments on the way everything ran so smoothly, the AMAZING food that was served, and the beautiful lodges that many stayed in - not to mention the area is just fantastic! Both the bridal and groom suites are perfectly sized and allow you to relax and spread out before the wedding - this may seem unimportant, but when 8+ hours are spent in the room with numerous people the day of, you want room to do your "beautifying." In addition, they use golf carts to aid with getting people from the ceremony to the reception (as well as the after party bonfire) and truly made sure everyone was taken care of. As a couple, the one thing we are always told is how we won't get to eat on our wedding day - The Lodges makes sure that's not true! We had our own private appetizers together and (although we ate at our reception) also had both of our meals and a bit of dessert left in our actual lodge after the wedding with champagne! Although this was such a small thing, it truly made the end of the night that much more special and we loved being able to enjoy the food we had picked out. The breakfast the next day allowed us the chance to say goodbye to our guests and still had such sweet and thoughtful touches. There was not a single worker there that was not willing to help in every way possible with a smile and I will forever be grateful that I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding completely! I would have my wedding here over and over and I cannot wait to return for anniversaries in the future!The Lodges at Gettysburg's reply:

My husband and I got married at the lodges last October and our day was perfect. They coordinated everything with our other vendors and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. We worked with Beth leading up to the day and she addressed every question and concern and on the day our coordinator was Susie who was equally amazing. The food was delicious!!! We had a few no shows and cancellations after we gave our final numbers so they packaged up some meals and our extra cake for us to take home. I was able to get in early the day of and set up and then relax in their beautiful bridal suite. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful and we used their bonfire site as well after the reception. Our wedding date was May 12, 2019. It took me a few months to write this review due to such a busy schedule and personal reasons. Anyways, The lodges at Gettysburg are AMAZING! I had done research on so many venues and none of them met the criteria until I found this venue. I am originally from Canada as well as my family so we knew we needed a venue that included ceremony, reception, and lodging all on one property for the convenience of our guests. When we toured this venue I was blown away. It is such a naturally beautiful wedding site I knew I did not want to get married anywhere else. Plus this venue offers SO much with the price. They have prices that will work with anyone's price range. It can be cheaper depending on what day of the week you pick and also can have a discounted price dependent on how many guests book lodges. The cake is included, table linens, complimentary glass of champagne during dinner service,day of coordinator, $$ towards the salon on site and so much more! The catering company also has a plethora of food options to fit anyone's budget.
( side note: the food was delicious and received a lot of compliments from guests) Same can be said with the bar options. We booked it right away. Between December 2017 when we booked the venue to our wedding day May 12, 2019 our coordinator Beth was nothing short of amazing. She is very patient, kind and understanding. She truly cares about each bride and groom and wants the wedding day to be special and perfect. Every time I had a question or concern or was stressed out she was there to answer it all and support me. Without her I would have been a complete mess the entire planning process. When the wedding day came the ENTIRE staff at the lodges was superb. They made sure our guests rooms were ready early. The food and drinks for the bridal suite was served on time and was delicious and plentiful. The weather on our wedding day was rainy. Which no bride wants to have but the staff of the lodges ,especially our day of coordinator Susie, teamed up with the decor company and the day turned out beautifully. During the dinner service the first plates that were served to the bridal table had incorrect food
( wrong sauce over the steak) but I notified the catering staff immediately and the next plate and the following plates to come out were correct. So props to them! The catering staff was very timely and efficient with bringing the food to our guests and removing the dishes. And the bar staff was very very good at the drink orders and making sure our guests had a blast. All of the guests commented on how they loved the lodges and how gorgeous the property is as well as the reception area. It was the best day of my life and 10/10 recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg to everyone! -

We had a lot of out-of-towners, so the lodges was perfect. Every single person was wonderful to work with, especially the coordinator, Beth. She answered any questions we had and was so flexible. The packages they offer are affordable and include a lot more than any other venue. I can't say enough of this place. It is a wonderful secret tucked just ten minutes from downtown Gettysburg. We did a destination wedding and found it perfect for all of our traveling guests. I cannot express enough gratitude to The Lodges at Gettysburg for everything they did to make our wedding EXACTLY how we hoped for despite some changes that needed to be made at the last minute.
From the start, we fell in love with The Lodges and all it had to offer. It was the first wedding venue we viewed out of 8 and nothing topped the value. The add on options such as the horse and carriage, bonfire, and also being able to have a honeymoon suite the night of the wedding were what made The Lodges stand out.
Beth was amazing from our first communication. She answered emails promptly, professionally, and with high energy. We love Beth!
As far as the day of the wedding, I loved being able to relax and spend time in the Bridal Suite with my girls the morning of the wedding. We ordered mimosas and the lunch buffet from their Suite Snacks Menu. It was wonderful. I also love that they have chairs like you are in a salon, for a true beauty treatment. Everything was set to be on schedule until a storm rolled in about an hour and 15 minutes before the wedding ceremony. THIS is when the Lodges really make themselves stand out from many other wedding venues you will find in the area. Beth, Denise, and the rest of the staff at the Lodges and Carriage House were willing to switch the ceremony and the cocktail hour so we could let the storm pass and we would still be able to have our dream outdoor ceremony. It was hard work for them and they could have easily said "sorry you have to have the ceremony inside," but they genuinely want to do EVERYTHING in their power to make your day as you planned. They took plowers down to dry the area, fixed the chairs and even pushed down branches from the trees out of the way with their hands so the path was clear for the horse and carriage. At the ceremony, you would have never known that a torrential downpour had come through an hour earlier. It was perfect and everyone was in awe of the horse and carriage entrance. Everyone had a great time at the reception and enjoyed the food prepared by the Carriage House. After the reception, we had a bonfire for those who booked a room at the Lodges for that night. This was another thing that I did not think was going to happen because of the rain, but once again they made it happen.
Ultimately everyone raved about our wedding. We had so many people tell us how beautiful The Lodges was and that we were trend setters for having the cocktail hour first. Additionally, we had several people tell us that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been too and that credit goes to Beth, Denise, The Carriage House, and all the staff that bent over backwards for us. My husband and I are truly over the moon with how perfect our day was. The perfect start to our perfect forever.

My husband and I are so happy that we chose the Lodges for our July 5 wedding. Looking back, we weren't really thinking when we decided to have our wedding on the weekend of the reenactments! It was FABULOUS though! It really ended up being like a destination wedding for our guests. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on July 4 - we were able to decorate and the tavern was open for our guests. We did the picnic package and Beth let us do some customizing for the kids. Food was fabulous (by Carriage House) and Beth even coordinated a cake to surprise a birthday guest! Guests were able to hang out all night - even see some fireworks & we did our own sparklers. Our guests loved that they had their own lodges and could spend the weekend touring Gettysburg.
The rooms that the bride and groom get ready in are amazing. My hair and makeup women LOVED the light, the chairs, the room in general. My photographer was able to capture some really fun photos in the room, too.
We were able to do a first look right on property and then hop in our car and run over to Sachs Bridge (right past the reenactors!) to do some fun pictures on the covered bridge. It's like 3 minutes away and makes for a beautiful photo. Back to the Lodge and I could do touch ups and Nicole was ready to whisk me down to the lake for the ceremony.
I heard from several wedding guests that the folks doing golf cart transportation were amazing (thank you!).
The ceremony was amazing and perfect and we had perfect timing because cannons and fireworks were going off from the reenactments! Definitely made everyone laugh.
Since it was going to be so hot, I wanted slushees (frose' specifically), so the Lodges rented a giant slushee machine for me (2 sides and everything). We had pina coladas and froses. It was a total hit and the guests loved them. If you have an idea of something you want to do, talk to Beth- she will probably make it happen!
We were introduced from the mezzanine. DO IT! Don't tell anyone you are coming in that way, though because you want everyone to be surprised. The only person that knew was our DJ. It was so lovely to be able to stand up there and watch everyone come in, be seated and then I got to see all of our bridal party come in! So special!
The food at the reception was awesome (yes- I even got to eat!) and I loved our sweetheart table with the little lights underneath. We did minimal decorating because the Lodges does everything- so we used the Lodges vases and put flowers in (they even supply the candles) and we did our own table numbers, but we probably didn't even need to.
We had our sparkler send-off (YAY!). Do that, too!
Unfortunately, mother nature unleashed a crazy rain storm during dinner which washed out the bonfire area. So, our pinterest worthy s'mores set up was going to be cancelled. BUT, someone (I think it was the security guard or Nicole) set up the cutest little sterno fire pit on the patio for our s'mores! Thank you to whoever went the extra mile for us. That was awesome.
I seriously didn't want the night to end. We had the best time. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. It was just FUN!
I used many of the Lodges preferred vendors, so I think that helped with the timing and the ease of the ceremony & reception since they had worked together before.
Bottom line - our wedding was FUN and the planning was not stressful!

The Lodges was the second venue my husband and I visited. Once we met Beth and team, toured the property and learned more about their packages, we knew we found our place. The setting is a lovely, rural property with lots of greenery and hills - it feels like a nice getaway from reality. From the time we booked our date, a year and a half in advance of the wedding, Beth and team answered every call and email with kindness and enthusiasm. I greatly appreciated Beth's thorough responses and coordination. It was great to have the catering already handled through Carriage House Inn, as well as the cake, linens, tableware, etc. included. Although we had a church ceremony, the reception went seamlessly. The staff handled everything behind the scenes with no hiccups. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about their experience, from the food to the accommodations to the setting itself. One of our favorite parts was the bonfire, where our guests could join us after the reception ended and enjoy some s'mores. I am so glad we picked The Lodges for a unique and charming wedding day - we have amazing memories and photos to relive our experience. I recommend The Lodges to any couple - you will not regret it! -

We cannot thank The Lodges at Gettysburg enough for making all our wedding dreams come true. First, the ceremony space is absolutely beautiful! It was the most perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. There is a ton of greenery and trees nearby that allow for the prettiest pictures to be taken. My dad and I walked from the top all the way down to the ceremony space (which was so nice to have an extra long walk) and I heard from guests that it was so beautiful with how the light was shining and the trees (one guest said that even she started tearing up!). The venue itself is so beautiful. You could honestly do the most minimal decorations and it would still be gorgeous. We loved that we were able to bring our own decorations so that it made it extra special and uniquely us. We were allowed to put a sign up on one of the beams (we weren't sure at first if we could because we had to use a nail and hammer it but they were so nice and told us to go right ahead!) which we loved. The lodges there are gorgeous to stay in!! We loved that guests were able to stay right on property. It was awesome since we had a decent amount of out of town guests that they could stay at a lodge, walk to the ceremony, walk to the reception, and walk back to their room! The rooms are cleaned to a T and spot less! You can even bring up alcohol from the tavern that is on property back to your room. We worked with Beth for everything and had Susie as our day of coordinator. These two are AMAZING! Thank goodness for Beth- she answered all our questions in a timely and happy manner. She helped us set up a second room block when I had a panic attack we weren't going to be able to accommodate everyone- she had it set up within a day.. so awesome! She made everything perfect for her and we cannot thank her enough for all she did. I can't imagine how many e-mails she goes through a day but she always takes time to answer you and makes you feel like your the only bride and groom she's working with. She works to make sure you are always treated as her top priority and it is so appreciated. We loved having Susie as our day of coordinator. She made the day go so smoothly and took care of everything for us. I am sure random things came up in the day but I honestly have no idea about them! If anything did come up- Susie was on it and took care of it! She listened to us and made sure to make us her top priority that day. We cannot thank her enough! The staff at the Lodges is absolutely amazing! They are so nice and kind- I wish I knew everyone's names because they were great!!! Thank you for all that you guys do- you were great! The food was delicious!! We did the pulled pork BBQ, chicken breast, mac n cheese, baked beans, etc. and it was SO great!! I still am dreaming about that dinner- it was such good comfort food. We had the BEST bartenders around. Everyone is still talking about how great they were! We were able to do a bon fire afterwards and everyone had a great time! Our room for the night was amazing and they provide a bottle of champagne which was so sweet to come back and see in our room. The Lodges does a fantastic job at making your day extra special with little touches like that. We cannot wait to come to the Lodges and spend anniversaries there. The lodges will always hold a special place in our hearts and we cannot recommend them enough to have your wedding there- you will not be disappointed! -

We got married October 6, 2018 at the Lodges. I first found them online and they were the first venue we looked at. Every other venue we looked at just didnt compare, I had my heart set on the Lodges from day 1. Beth was awesome at answering my millions of emails (because I was so nervous) and Austin was extraordinary the day of our wedding. He was on top of everything, between moving stuff from ceremony to reception to constantly supplying us with drinks to tearing all my decorations down at the end. I highly recommend!!! I am so glad we choose the Lodges and will definitely be back. -

We recently had our wedding at The Lodges and were so impressed with the way they run this place that we would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! It rained on our day and caused us to have our outdoor ceremony inside which was upsetting, Beth, Susie, and staff went above and beyond to make the most of this situation and gave us an amazing ceremony and gorgeous reception. The overnight lodges were beautiful and perfect for our guests with all the right amenities. If we had it to do over again we would absolutely choose The Lodges at Gettysburg for our wedding and highly recommend them for any event you might want to plan. My husband and I knew right away we wanted to get married at the Lodges after going to a wedding there 2 years prior. Everyone at the Lodges was more than helpful. We were married there on October 19th 2018 and could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish I knew I had nothing to worry about. I was in good hands. The location is breathtaking. The food from the Carriage House was amazing! We also had our rehearsal dinner there and the food for that was excellent! Beth was so kind and helpful every step of the way. Nona, the front desk manager was so outgoing and did everything in her power to help in any way on the day of! Her personality is the best! I have nothing but kind words to say about the Lodges at Gettysburg. Our wedding is truly a day to remember and we continue to get compliments on how perfect the day/night was! We could not have asked for a better experience! -

The Lodges at Gettysburg was the perfect location for our wedding. It was so reassuring to know that they had multiple staff members, ready to attend to our every need throughout the day. The bridal suite & groom’s room were spacious and welcoming.
We loved having our ceremony outdoors by the picturesque lake & fountain. It was wonderful to return to the ball room for our reception - the staff of the Lodges did an excellent job of serving dinner & removing plates in a polite, timely manner! -

Wedding of Our Dreams!
Our wedding was 9/15/18 and it was absolutely fantastic! Our engagement was quite long (1 week shy of 2 years) and we booked the Lodges as our venue very early on. For our entire planning period, Denise and Beth were so helpful in answering every single question I had about having a wedding!! They helped organize our on site lodging, as almost all guests had to stay over night. They were accommodating down to the weeks before ensuring all of our guests had a place to stay! I felt so special on my wedding weekend by all of the staff! They really pamper you! Susie was out day-of coordinator and she was out of this world helpful! She took care of everything and checked in often the day of the wedding! I really trusted them with everything! My guests have RAVED about our wedding! So many compliments on the food and staff. The venue is so perfect, both inside and out! I could not recommend more! -

The nature surrounding the venue was the perfect addition to the aesthetically historic, yet functionally modern facilities. And as goregeous as it is, the staff is what we found to be our ultimate deciding factor. Beth made planning a breeze, and laid out our options for the day of without hesitation, and with a huge smile on her face. Susie, our day of coordinator, picked up right where Beth left off. She took the plans right from the page of Beth’s notebook and made them a reality. And of course the food must be mentioned. I’m pretty sure I could have cut my filet mignon with a spoon if I wanted to.

It was so accommadating, beautiful, and welcoming that there really is nothing you can't love about the venue! All I truly wanted was to get married outside near a lake and The Lodges had just that and the pricing is unbeatable.
Guests loved that they could literally walk 5 minutes to their rooms after the reception was over and it was such a peace of mind knowing my guests didn't feel that they had to drive home after celebrating with us all night. In regards to our lodge for the night, it was absolutely beautiful! They had placed rose petals on the floor and the bed and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Such an amazing thing to walk in to!
We had such a lovely experience here! I would recommend this location to anyone!

We were able to have plenty of meetings, come and look at the venue whenever we wanted, and the day of was made so much easier by their help. My husband and I fell in love with The Lodges from the first moment we toured the grounds. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the staff were amazing to work with. They were so accommodating and calming throughout the whole process. Any time we had a question, they were quick to email a response. The day of our wedding, it unfortunately rained, and we were unable to perform our ceremony outside. Our maître d' was out in the pouring rain saving our sand ceremony and working to make our indoor option just as beautiful as the outside ceremony would have been. They were quick problem solvers and made the process smooth and enjoyable. I am forever grateful for how well Beth and Susie took care of us on our special day!

Jenn Sent on 12/20/2017There are not enough words to express how absolutely perfect our May 2017 wedding was at the Lodges! From the moment we chose the Lodges, Beth was incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions with a speedy response time. The rehearsal and dinner were excellent, laid back yet but very efficient and so much fun. The day of the wedding was beyond my wildest dreams. The bridal suite is huge and spacious, and it was the perfect place for all of us ladies to get ready. Beth made sure that every single thing was perfect, from coordinating with vendors to helping guests transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception and then send off. Beth and her team are so attentive and everything they do is with the bride and groom in mind. They took drink orders for our wedding party and parents so that after we had pictures done we had drinks waiting and our own spread of appetizers in a private room--just wow! That was so incredible to be able to not only get to eat the appetizers we picked, but to have a peaceful moment with our closest family and friends before heading into the reception. My husband and I were treated like royalty, Beth hand delivered dinner for us so we could relax and not go through the food stations, and made sure we always had a drink. At the end of the night, Beth drove my husband and I back to our cabins, where she had already dropped off to-go containers of our wedding dinners and cake as well as champagne and flowers, it was an incredible surprise! I cannot express how stress-free the entire wedding planning process and actual wedding day was. Beth and The Lodges staff, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making our day a fairytale I didn't know was possible. We will be back on our anniversary to enjoy another night there!

Clare Sent on 11/15/2017My husband and I got married on November 11, 2017...The Lodges was our first and only venue we toured. WE loved it instantly. We worked with Beth throughout the year and she was SUPER fast with getting back to me and my mother when we had any questions. We met all of our vendors at The Lodges " Date Night", for all booked weddings... which made planning a wedding so much easier. Planning a wedding was not my thing what so ever, I wanted nothing to do with it, but Beth and The lodges really made it easier. I met my DJ, Photographer, Officiant and cake baker all at the date night. So much was included in our contract when we signed with The Lodges at Gettysburg. The food was AMAZING. everything about the day was perfect. My niece who is 3 was running around and wondering where she shouldn't have and i saw Beth a couple times bring her back to either the Bridal Suite or to the Reception room. Beth was so sweet during all of my planning and really worked with my mom and I and let us know what would look good and what would not. Her honesty made my wedding absolutely perfect. I can not wait to go back and visit while Bryan and I are in Gettysburg visiting like we always do. I will forever tell people to look in to The Lodges at Gettysburg when either looking for a nice weekend away or for a beautiful wedding. I cant thank all of the Staff at The Lodges enough.

Elderly guests were taken to our ceremony site and back to the venue on a golf cart for easy access. Having the cabin afterwards was great after a long eventful day, and even better when we came back to extra food, cake and a bottle of champagne (your so busy with guests you don't really get a chance to eat cake). Only suggestion I have would be for the caterers. Had a few bumps with kids meals and adult chicken tender meals being given to the wrong guests, and they ran out of fruit and veggies for my guests. They also cut my top tier of my cake (which was to be saved) however, whoever makes your cake must provide a box for the top tier and one was not provided to me which is why they cut it. Overall it was a fabulous day making those things very minimal. The venue and staff itself couldn't have been any better. -

Nikol Sent on 10/27/2016My husband and I were married here on October 1, 2016 and from the first moment we drove up to the property in August 2015 we were in venue-love with The Lodges. For us it was the ideal place for our wedding reception. (We were married in a church off property.) From the property, to the view outside the main lodge, to the onsite salon and finally to the beautiful and comfortable lodging it was the perfect place for us. Ourselves from VA and all our guests coming from all parts of the country it was important to find a place with onsite lodging and you couldn't ask for more lovely accomodations than The Lodges. Like us, all of our guests who stayed there fell in love with all aspects of the venue.
From day one Beth was a HUGE help; she is a woman with tons of patience, I hate to think back now how many emails I sent to her in the 13 months leading up to my wedding, but Beth was always responsive and informative. And if she didn't have a ready-answer for me she was always sure to get an answer. Suzy, my day of coordinator, was a delight as well and very helpful for the reception. The day of our wedding it had poured days leading up and that morning; there was rumors that roads we needed to take to the church were flooding; Beth drove the route to our church to make sure that was not the case. That settle the nerves of this bride and the brides parents!
Every single one of our guests had nothing but great things to say about our food and bar. The menu that we chose accomodated all different kinds of dietary needs. The Carriage House does a great job with the preparation and the presentation.
Do you get the "bang for your buck"? YES! For all of the little extra perks and additions to the costs The Lodges is worth every penny and I truly think you will be able to make this venue work for your budget. We walked away from our day feeling as though it was the perfect day and the Lodges definitely had a huge part in making that happen.
