The Lakehouse is truly a magical place! We got married there and had the best time. We were beyond happy with our experience. Susan the owner and Kristan our wedding planner are absolutely incredible!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is a dream come true…❤️❤️❤️

We fell in love with The Lake House the moment we turned the corner into the parking lot. It has so much Old Florida charm and is the epitome of a timeless look for a wedding. The property is stunning and very well kept. The staff is continuing to make upgrades all the time to make it an even more beautiful space.
You have full access to the property, including the house. Our wedding was on a Friday so we were able to stay at the house Thursday night which was super convenient for the early morning of hair and makeup. We also were able to have our rehearsal dinner on the patio.
The ceremony site is what sold us. It creates the most romantic atmosphere. You can get married under a stunning old oak tree covered in Spanish moss and surrounded by lush greenery which makes it feel very private.
We planned to have our cocktail hour on the patio, but weather did not permit. The staff worked hard to help us follow our plan B for having the cocktail hour under the covered reception area.
Working with the staff at the Lake House was a fantastic experience. Susan was very helpful throughout the year leading up to our wedding.
Susana was our month of coordinator and she was outstanding! We had a horrible weather forecast leading up to our wedding day. I spoke with Susana every day to figure out a plan B for our special day. She kept me calm and sane the whole time. She was so welcoming and easy to work with. I would gladly work with her again and highly recommend her!
Our wedding day was perfect in every way. We could not have asked for a better location and staff to work with. -

The best venue for the best day!
The perfect venue for the best day of our lives! Our entire experience with The Lake House was incredible from start to finish! So easy to work with, the kindest staff, the greatest coordinator and the most beautiful property! We had a rainy December wedding but it couldn't have been more perfect thanks to our amazing coordinator Kristan who went above and beyond for us! -

My DREAM Wedding!
When my husband and I first visited the Lake House in person, we knew we had to have our wedding there. The Lake House is timeless, beautiful and everything we ever wanted. We got married under the dreamy oak tree, we had our cocktail hour on the deck as well as our first dance and finished the night off with dinner and dancing under the pavilion. Not only was the venue perfect, but Susan was so helpful during the entire process. We then started working with Cathy 30 days before the wedding and she was also there the day of with us - Cathy was INCREDIBLE. She was extremely organized and helped make the day of seamless for us. She made sure we were happy, listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Thank you to the Lake House team for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. -

Beautiful Sentimental
We chose this venue because it used to belong to my grandfather. My dad spent the majority of his teenage years here and although that was some time ago being at this house again just brought me joy and tears to be able to get married here. Susan was amazing to work with with. She has some really good jokes 😉 to get your mind off of everything else going on the day of. All in all they have kept my families old home alive and even more beautiful than what it used to be ❤️ Thank you Lakehouse for allowing us to get married where my roots started ❤️ -

We are so happy that we had our wedding at The Lake House. It was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. But, the staff was amazing! Barb and Sophia were always quick to respond to messages/questions. The day of the wedding, Sophia made sure that we had everything we needed, plus getting us drinks/appetizers during cocktail hour when we were taking our pictures. We have absolutely no complaints...we cannot wait to get our pictures and video back. No regrets...totally worth every penny! -

We had multiple venues set up to go see, and The Lake House was the first one we actually went to. After stepping foot into The Lake House we knew immediately this was the one, and we never had to go anywhere else. This place met a lot to me because my husband grew up in Fort Pierce. We were greeted by Barb who was so welcoming and friendly, and showed us the whole venue with all of the options we had. Not only did Barb take care of us that day, but she was always there for us answering questions throughout the whole process and even gave us another tour of the venue so my mother could see it. Jen, who was our month of and day of coordinator was nothing short of amazing as well, she made sure everything was perfect for the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly on our actual big day. Jen was so patient and kind and really took care of us. I also want to say thank you to Susana and Kyle for being there for us that weekend. Kyle took such good care of the grounds when we were there for the 3 days, and Susana was a huge help along side Jen…right before I walked down the isle Susana made sure I had everything I needed. This venue is absolutely STUNNING, and you can tell the staff loves what they do. Throughout the year we had them booked they made multiple upgrades to the venue including the ceremony spot which was breathtaking. Our guest had nothing but amazing things to say about The Lake House and also some of the vendors that they recommended to us. I wish I could relive our special day over and over again. I do not think I will be able to thank the staff enough for all that they did for us the year leading up to our wedding, and on our wedding weekend. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone I know, and it always makes me happy to see all the couples after me who get to spend their special day there. I hope in the near future I will be able to attend a friend or families wedding here to relive all of the amazing memories!! Thank you Lake House..we love you!! - The Martin’s 2.12.22

When I saw this place online I was sold immediately. Walking into the ceremony area brought me to tears on my first visit. We opted to utilize the grounds for the weekend and it was the best way to prepare and end the wedding! So beautiful and so so special to get married here 10/10 recommend -

My husband and I got married here on 01/23/22. It was the greatest day ever! the entire staff was so helpful from beginning to end of the planning process. Everything went exactly as planned all thanks to Kristin and Morgan. Kristin was such a great month of coordinator. So organized, easy to reach, and you could feel her passion for her work. I am so happy we chose the lake house as our wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Every request we had was met. Grateful we were able to have our wedding at this venue! Highly recommend to any couples searching for the venue of their dreams!!! -

Having our wedding at The Lake House was the best decision. First off, the venue is beautiful. My husband and I will have such a hard time picking wedding photos that we want because everything photographs beautifully. We also stayed overnight the night before and night of the wedding. It was so convenient to be able to stay over and be able to relax before and after the wedding. Working with Barb while looking at the venue and securing the dates was a breeze. Barb is responsive and always was such a pleasure to talk to. She made me feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. She coordinated extra visits to the venue to help us visualize what we wanted to do for our ceremony and reception. Our month of coordinator, Jen, was great to work with as well. She helped us create the perfect floor plan and timeline and helped things go smoothly the day of. I highly recommend using The Lake House as your wedding venue! -

Our wedding was an absolute dream come true! A unique home a hidden gem in Fort Pierce with stunning lake views, a gorgeous ceremony spot in a tucked away area with a giant oak tree- truly whimsical! And the sunset!! Ahhh I just love it all. We decided to book the weekend and loved every minute of it. I can’t begin to say how wonderful the Lake House was from the very beginning. Barb is fantastic and was so warm and so helpful throughout the whole process. I truly felt I had made a friend. She was quick to answer emails and the tour with her was thorough and detailed. As a wedding planner, it was hard for me to be the bride and get excited about my own day. Barb and the team at the Lake House made sure I was at ease and able to sit back and enjoy my day with my husband. The venue comes with a month of coordinator which is so fantastic and helpful. Cathy was incredible to work with. She created two amazing floor plans for us, contacted our vendors and created a detailed timeline. She assisted in putting my personal items out and packed them up at the end of the night. She even gave us a personalized gift which was so sweet. Our day was just perfect! If something was wrong, I didn’t know because Cathy took care of everything. I can now recommend my clients to the Lake House with confidence and know they will receive the same treatment that I did. Top notch! If you’re thinking about The Lake House book it! You will love it and what you get for the cost is amazing! The house, all ceremony chairs/benches, farm tables and chairs, bistro lighting under the pavilion and on the deck, nice outdoor restrooms, cocktail tables and all specialty tables, fire pit and a coordinator. Thank you all for a beautiful day we will cherish forever! -

The venue alone is so beautiful. We had our wedding here then stayed the night in the house. After our wedding, for about 3 days we kept talking about how truly amazing our coordinator Cathy was. We thought that maybe we should figure out how to give her an award, lol. She decorated everything for us so perfectly. When I opened my gift, she wanted to see and she teared up with everyone else in the room - just like family. When we were taking pictures, she ran water out to us. As soon as we sat down for the reception, she brought us our food. At the end of the night she already had everything packed up for us. We can go on forever...
It was a better wedding than we could have ever imagined.

Beautiful Venue!!
This was the perfect venue for our wedding! Cathy was our Lake House coordinator and she was exceptional!! Could not have been happier with the service, responsiveness, professionalism, and advice from Cathy and the rest of the staff! The Lake house was amazing from day one! Everything turned out beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Rachel was our month of coordinator and made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. Also, most of our other vendors came from their recommended list and we were thrilled with all of them! We have received so many compliments on how gorgeous everything was, but it’s hard for us to take credit - this venue is naturally beautiful and it didn’t hurt that the sunset happened to be phenomenal that night! I’m hoping one of our friends gets married there soon so we get to go back! -

Incredible Wedding Venue
The Lake House is a hidden gem of wedding venues in South Florida! The scenery is so beautiful, the trees are gorgeous, the sunset over the lake during our wedding was stunning. Our wedding planners Cathy and Sophia were SO beyond kind and helpful throughout the day, making sure everything ran smoothly and was exactly how we wanted it. I cannot thank the staff enough, even the grounds crew for helping and making our day so perfect. -

The lake house is a beautiful venue for the most magical fairytale wedding. The location and layout of the grounds is perfect.
My husband & I had our wedding on 3/7/2020. Cathy was able to meet with us prior to the day to review all our details and vision. Cathy and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless.
We loved everything about our day and couldn't be happier. 💕🥂 -

In searching for a wedding venue, we mostly came across barns, which wasn't our style. Touring The Lake House was so exciting because we finally found something that wasn't your average barn, but rather a beautiful, elegant venue! We loved that everything could be held outdoors, even in the rain (which it did rain during our wedding!). We also loved that we could bring in our own style with our decorations to make it truly "us."
One suggestion I have for couples looking at booking The Lake House is to make sure you have an all-encompassing list of questions for them from the beginning. Communication with the staff wasn't the best, so I was constantly emailing back and forth trying to find out details as we planned. I also wasn't totally sure what exactly the month-of coordinator's job was when it came to our wedding day, so be sure to find all that out so you can be fully prepared with no surprises!
Overall, it was a beautiful venue at a very convenient location immediately off the highway, making it easy for our traveling guests. Definitely recommend!

Married 12/31/18
Helping a friend plan her wedding and noticed the Lake House has two listings on this site under which it's reviewed. I decided to post again because other brides deserve to be warned.
It's a gorgeous venue. I can't stress that enough. They were easy to work with and accommodating for the most part.
There's a few caveats to booking here.
1. Due to a residential noise ordinance they are insistent the DJ stop playing at a particular time regardless of volume. They are upfront about this policy. They will allow the event to continue, but no music. My wedding planner, Pauline (Elegant Events) assured me they would not enforce this. She further stated she had looked into the ordinance, could disprove what they were saying and would handle it. She lied to me. I was then left to plead with them not to shut down my NYE wedding hours before intended. We were able to compromise a bit, likely because this was the 2nd catastrophe that evening and the other was absolutely their fault. Which brings me to..
2. There are two restrooms inside the Lake House with additional facilities in a trailer. One bathroom inside is upstairs (too far for elderly guests) , the other is off the kitchen(where caterers and waitstaff are coming buzzing around) This essentially leaves the trailer. Had they thought to clean said trailer and done something to ensure the septic wasn't overflowing, it would not have been a fetid mess early in the evening. Alas, it was and the most memorable thing about my wedding for several guests was mucking about in human excrement. I don't think there is anything they could have done to make this OK, but aside from a half hearted apology they never tried. This review would have been glowing were it not for this issue, but for the price they charge it's inexcusable.
3. This is just an FYI- The overnight condensation there is like none I've ever experienced. Anything left outside overnight will be soaking wet in the morning. We used tarps and had things under the tent and they were still dripping.
