11/10 Can not recommend enough!!

My wife and I got married at the Lace Factory in September of 2023 and our lives will forever be better for it. We could not have envisioned a better wedding day and so much of that is thanks to the beautiful venue and incredible staff at the Lace Factory. They were easy to plan with, responsive to all our questions and eager to help in any way they could. My wife and I will be forever grateful to the Lace Factory and Cloud 9 catering. Can not recommend this venue enough!

Everything you're looking for and MORE

From the moment we walked into the Lace Factory for our initial tour, we fell in love with the space and the staff. Not only did the staff (Tiffany and Christine especially) help us plan and budget to create our dream wedding, but they exceeded expectations at every turn. Our guests couldn't believe we didn't work with a coordinator -- we didn't need one when it came to the Lace Factory because of Christine's attention to detail, genuine investment, and overall kindness.
We went a minimalist route and even without a ton of add-ons, the space was simply gorgeous. The day of our wedding it was drizzling and the staff was outside waiting with umbrellas to let all guests in from the bus.
We got married on 11/11/22 and every day we hear from our guests about how much they enjoyed it. The food, the bar, the dance floor, and the organization were impeccable! I would recommend the Lace Factory to anyone!

Perfect Day

If you are looking for a beautiful, unique, romantic venue with AWESOME staff, absolutely book with The Lace Factory. Christine and her team were amazingly patient, understanding and supportive in the YEARS that we worked with them - through planning and then replanning our wedding due to covid. I used the word perfect more on the day of my wedding than any other time in my life, and that is due to the effort Christine and her team put into pulling off our vision and making sure everything ran smoothly. Christine was an absolute pleasure to work - she professional and organized, but also funny, easy going and understanding if you (like me) are an indecisive bride, or just not too sure how the whole planning process works. ChristinA - my attendant for the day was so sweet and always made sure we had what we needed :) I would recommend this venue and team 1000x over. Thank you all again!

My cousin got married here when The Lace Factory first opened and I knew that if I ever got married, this was the place for me. I fell in love with it at first sight. This venue is so unique and stunning and the staff is beyond incredible. They were so helpful throughout the entire planning process, and so responsive to my many questions:) Andrea, Nicole and Melissa were beyond amazing to work with and every one of my guests raved about the food, the service and the decor. My wedding day was beyond anything I've ever dreamed of, and it is in large part because of the staff at The Lace Factory and Cloud Nine Catering. I can't recommend them enough.

Our wedding at The Lace Factory was nothing short of perfect. From the very beginning, the team at TLF went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we dreamed of. They made suggestions, pointed out a few things that we would have overlooked along the way, and made sure that we were well taken care of the entire time we were there. They listened to the vibe we were looking for and 100% delivered. I can't thank them enough for all of their help and hard work in making our day special. Our family and friends are still raving about how much fun it was and how beautiful the venue was. All in all, if you are thinking about taking a look at The Lace Factory, do it! You'll fall in love just like we did!

The Lace Factory is the place you want to have your wedding. I was looking for a wedding venue that was not your traditional venue, with heavy curtains and swirly blue carpet. The Lace Factory is classic and able to be customized. We had our ceremony at our 1830s farmhouse and then took the Essex steam train to The Lace Factory (this is something you can set up with the venue. The private train ride for us and all of our guests really top the day off and the price is fairly reasonable.) The staff at The Lace Factroy is more than accommodating to us on our day...we did not lift a finger. Christine delivered us appetizers and our signature drinks (which were some of the best mixed drinks I've had) while we were taking photos during cocktail hours. I never made my way to the bar once to get my own drink! The receptions space was amazing. The large windows that let in the best light and the wood floors really are just simply beautiful. The decorations just add to the beauty of the space. The food was out of this world. Fresh and updated. They do a beautiful job at making the food presentable. The space was large enough to fit all 165 of our guest comfortably. We had an awesome dance party! We also had a sparkler send off at the end of the night that the staff set up for us which was great. We are so happy we went with The Lace Factory for our big day! Highly, highly recommend if you are looking for a day that is unique, where you can be creative and wow your guests!

If you’ve ever walked into the Lace Factory, you already know how absolutely incredible this venue is. After walking in there once, we knew this was the place for us – we ended up booking on the spot. The building offers so many opportunities to be creative with wedding décor, however, even if you didn’t put up one decoration – it would still be so beautiful. The whole Cloud Nine team also did an amazing job with our wedding. Andrea, the owner, Christine, our wedding supervisor and Maura, our wedding captain were so amazing on the day of our wedding. They helped to make sure everything ran smooth and we had absolutely nothing to worry about on that day. If there were any hiccups or issues – I have no idea what they were! It truly was the best day of our lives and that was in large part due to this amazing venue. We would highly recommend the Lace Factory and Cloud Nine to any future bride and groom!

Hiring Tiffany for day-of wedding décor setup and take-down was probably one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. She was so amazing! Not only is she a sweet person, but she was so responsive with any question we had leading up to the wedding and made us feel very comfortable in the plan we had. She executed our very detailed and extensive wedding décor plan so perfectly – everything was set up how I had pictured it. We would highly recommend Tiffany and Brides on Cloud Nine to any future bride and groom!

Cloud 9 catered my daughter’s backyard wedding. The party worked out perfectly, in large part due to the fantastic job this company did. The Cloud Nine people had many good ideas for us, and their suggestions were invaluable. They ordered and organized all necessary items: tables, chairs, linens, dishes, etc. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. There was a huge crew of chefs, servers, and staff. They all had smiles on their faces, worked diligently throughout the evening, and were completely accommodating. Cloud Nine's wedding planner Tiffany, who helped us out on Friday and Saturday, was wonderful. She was so helpful and kind and encouraging, and handled everything with skill. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. Everything happened on time and with expertise. The few minor curve balls were handled quickly and apparently effortlessly. We were thrilled with Cloud Nine’s work, and recommend them without reservation.

The Lace Factory is a hidden gem!!! This venue is tucked away in a quaint neighborhood on the river. When looking for venues, my fiance and I were immediately drawn to LF and once we saw it in person our minds were immediately made. The staff is incredible and very responsive - we had so much fun planning with them. The food was also amazing - everyone raved about it (especially the provolone and prosciutto stuffed chicken breast)! We used yellow school buses as transportation for guests, since the parking is limited.
I cannot recommend this venue enough to anyone looking for a non-traditional venue. Our dream wedding was made into a reality thanks to the staff at LF!

Like many other brides, I have been dreaming of my wedding day for as long as I can remember. April 28, 2017 and the months of planning prior to our “big day” FAR surpassed any and all of those dreams. My husband and I credit the Lace Factory team for that .
The Lace Factory is beautiful – the venue speaks for itself. It is a beautiful backdrop for an incredibly special event. But it’s the staff that made our day so awesome. From the first email on, Andrea & her team were supportive, organized, and thorough. They shared in our excitement and made our 6 month engagement a breeze to pull off.
Every. Single. Vision. I shared with them became a reality. I have a type-A personality… relinquishing control is not easy for me- except in this case- I trusted them without hesitation and they totally executed 
Our wedding day was amazing – Courtney & Nicole were incredibly attentive…my flowers stained my dress – they fixed it. I wanted to re-apply lipstick for photos- it magically appeared. We were thirsty…½ a second later we weren’t. They both have the warmest, most welcoming smiles and were an absolute joy to be around. I am so happy that they played such a big role in our day.

The food follows suite with the rest of this review. It was amazing. Guests raved – and there is a reason why. My husband and I didn’t make it to all of the tables to say hello to guests because we were too busy indulging in the braised short ribs!

If we were to do it all again, we would not change a thing. The Lace Factory was the easiest (and best) decision we made when it came to our wedding (other than marrying each other!).

After signing with Cloud Nine Catering, their dedication to customer service and making our night unforgettable was very clear. They were professional, timely, confident, and the food was fantastic! We had special requests in that we had a pizza food truck for our entree, but Cloud Nine still worked with us to make it all work and make everything run smoothly. Their on-site manager was amazing and incredibly kind and superbly efficient. We enjoyed working with them and loved the end result.

We had our wedding at the Lace Factory in October 2015. The space is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want the traditional, banquet hall wedding and the Lace Factory is anything but that. The caterer that works with the Lace Factory, Cloud Nine, is great. The food was fresh and delicious. They were accommodating to my dietary restrictions and they made sure we ate which I really appreciated! The wedding day went smoothly and everyone had a great time.

Cloud 9 catered our wedding at the Eolia Mansion for 150 guests, and they showed nothing but confidence and expertise handling all of our detailed requests. We customized our seating plans, menu and bar selections, linens, and desserts, and they decorated the signature pistachio flavored wedding cake exactly as I had asked- which was the best cake I've ever had. The day-of coordination of the big-day was an added bonus since we did not have a planner. I could not have pulled off such a big wedding without them!

We just had our wedding at The Lace Factory in June and it was more perfect than we could've imagined!! We fell in love with the venue immediately.. it is a beautiful, unique place to have your wedding that has so much character, elegance, and is just special. Working with Andrea and Courtney and everyone there and Cloud Nine was extremely easy and very responsive with great suggestions. All of our guests raved about the space and how delicious the food was. They also gave us great vendor recommendations that knew the space which made it even that much easier to work with. We got married across the street at The Town Landing on the deck and our guests loved the view and ease to walk across the street to begin the celebrating. I can't say enough about the venue and how if you want something unique, memorable, and romantic... The Lace Factory is perfect. Thank you!!!

I loved working with Andrea and Cloud Nine Catering. They have a very down to earth feel and their personalities very well meshed with mine and my husband's.

Above all, the food was delicious and we got a lot of good feedback about it at the wedding. Everyone said something along the lines of... "You know wedding food is just wedding food but the food here is great!"

This company is so accommodating to the bride and groom. Went above my expectations.

I could not have been happier with the Lace Factory and Cloud Nine catering. Andrea, Courtney and Kim were amazing to work with. I had several head count changes and questions in the two weeks leading up to our wedding and they were more than happy to go above and beyond.
The space is just stunning. The lighting with the 3 walls of windows are like nothing I've ever seen at a wedding. I love their white lights inside and outside. We also used their lounge set and the sheer dividing panels to add some ambience (not that it was needed). I never used the bridal suite, nor did I need it so that aspect did not bother me at all. The outdoor corridor is so beautiful, I just wish it wasn't so hot out there so we could have had more photos.
The lack of parking is what lead us to discover the amazing opportunity of utilizing the Antique Essex steam train. Our guests were beyond thrilled to partake in this. We actually had our ceremony right at the train station which worked out wonderfully.
I heard such great feedback from all of my guests about this unique venue and fantastic meal spread offered. I highly recommend the paella as a vegetarian dish. I just wish I had more of an appetite for the beautiful harvest table, several passed hors d'oeuvres, salad, and desserts. Andrea even had the courtesy to track my husband and I down to tell us to come see the stunning dessert table before guests devoured it.
At the end of the night the Lace Factory employees and our planner helped break everything down and loaded it into a car we left there so we did not have to worry a thing about that.
I cannot praise this location enough and I'm lucky enough to be the first bride out of our entire guest list to tie the knot here. I cannot wait to attend another wedding here someday. I miss all of our vendors already. Happy wedding planning!!

A bride's dream come true!

Leading up to the wedding, I was constantly emailing back and forth with Andrea and Courtney and a month before the wedding, my event coordinator, Kim, called me to introduce herself. In the month leading up to the wedding, Andrea, Courtney, and Kim were so responsive and calming.

On the day of the wedding, Courtney would make the long walk from the mansion at Harkness Memorial State Park to the beach with a tray of food and beverages for me, my husband, and my bridal parties. She doted on us to the point where I both loved it and was weirded out by it (I'm not used to being served in that manner). She insisted that my husband and I not lift a finger, so she got us food from the buffet and drinks from the bar. Hell, at one point she even offered to help me use the bathroom as my dress was so big! Now, that's dedication! Also, when she came out to bring us food and drinks while we were taking pictures and found us having problem bustling up my dress, she went to feed and water the rest of the bridal party then joined my mom, maid of honor, best woman, and photographer to figure out what the seamstress did.

My cake was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what I was hoping for. So much so that Andrea requested that we send her pictures. The tired, ombre, blue Italian buttercream frosting looked perfect with the white chocolate shells that I provided and my lighthouse cake topper. Oh, I couldn't have been happier.

As for the food, my guests were complimenting us all night and, according to my mom, all weekend! A week later, I'm still getting compliments on how good the food was and how amazing the service was.

I totally recommend using Cloud Nine Catering especially if you're going to have your reception at Eolia, the mansion at Harkness Memorial Park.

Cloud Nine Catering catered my wedding at the Ellie Mitchell Pavilion at Rocky Neck State Park, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. I honestly can't pick one aspect of our menu that trumped the others, it was all so delightful. The appetizers were great, the main course (we did a buffet) was amazing, and the desserts (we had an assortment) were splendid. Plus, everyone that worked on our reception was great. Erin's clear communication made planning everything a breeze, and Desiree's oversight ensured that everything went smoothly during the event. Knowing I was in such good hands took a huge amount of stress off of me during that day! I am so glad we chose Cloud Nine and recommend them 100%.

Working with Erin and the whole team at Cloud Nine was such a pleasure. We had our wedding at the Lace Factory in Deep River, CT, and Cloud Nine orchestrated the whole thing. Erin was so warm, friendly, funny, talented, responsible and hard-working. The food was excellent -- creative flavors, fresh ingredients, so many choices and each one more delicious than the last. They made us amazing pies, in tons of different flavors, instead of cake, and easily accommodated our need for lots of gluten-free items. We got so many compliments on the food, and it was a big part of why our wedding was so special. Furthermore, the great people at Cloud Nine held our hands through the whole process of wedding planning, and were invaluable in offering guidance, advice, reassurance and help in making all the big decisions we had to make. The day of the wedding, they worked so hard to take all the random decorations we had pulled together and arrange them so artfully so that the tables looked spectacular -- way beyond my expectations. The Lace Factory looked so beautiful, absolutely stunning, and we couldn't have picked a better venue, or better people to work with.

Cloud Nine did an amazing job for my June 2012 wedding. When we first met with Andrea a year prior we knew we wanted to work with her. She is creative and we quickly came up with an awesome unique menu for our summer tent wedding. From the initial planning stages to the day of the Cloud Nine team was awesome. Erin was so helpful prior to the event and Andrea and he staff delivered above and beyond the day off. The cocktail hour and hor dourves were a huge hit, especially the raw bar! The oysterms, clams and shrimp were so fresh and the presentation out of a wooden boat was fantastic!

We chose stations for our wedding and had a carving station with tenderloin and curry crusted salmon (salmon was my favorite!), a cook to order pasta bar with veggies and meat as well as a cajun station that had jambalaya and cheese grits. The reviews were outstanding and we had so many guests complimenting the food and presenation. No one left our wedding hungry! The wedding cake besides being absolutely gorgeous was delicious! We had two flavors, pistacio and lemon and they were both to die for!

Cloud Nine Catering is a top notch professional caterer who delivered above and beyond in all aspects. We couldnt have picked a better team to work with!

Cloud Nine Catering is fantastic. Owner Andrea Isaacs is such a warm, wonderful person. She is incredibly creative, and great at brainstorming menu options based on your ideas. Even at our initial wedding planning meeting, Andrea spent so much time and care talking with us about our ideas, and crafted the perfect menu. Their food is delicious and presented in a beautiful fresh style. And of course, I echo all the other reviews on their tasty wedding cake! Our location had a list of preferred caterers we could choose from. We were so happy that Cloud Nine was on this list, since we had attended a wedding they had catered prior and were impressed! They were very accommodating & flexible with us and, not to mention, friendly! The food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the salmon) and it was all fresh and served in a timely manner. I can't tell you how many weddings I've been to where the food takes up half the evening. They were extremely efficient and still delivered a very high quality product. You won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Cloud Nine Catering. Eliza and Courtney were excellent to work with throughout the planning process. I seriously changed my mind about things a million times and they were super patient always. They helped me create a seasonal menu, source a gelato bar from a local gelato company, and really saved the day last minute with setting up some extra decor. Sandy my catering manager for the day is an amazing woman and I really owe my perfect day to her and her staff for setting everything up so beautifully. All the food was delicious too!

We did a lot of research to find the best vendors for our backyard wedding. We met with many different caterers, but Cloud Nine outshone them all! We could not find another caterer that could match the quality of food to the price. They have been so accommodating to all of my questions, concerns and requests throughout the past year. To top it off, they provided the cake, the bar service and handled all of the many rentals necessary. If you still have your doubts...many people came up to me saying that we had the best wedding cake they had ever tasted!

Great food! Were flexible enough to provide us with plated vegetarian entrees (we had a buffet service) but brought these plates out before tables were called up to get food so our vegetarians felt funny eating by themselves and their food got cold. Plus we heard that the stuffed portabello mushroom wasn't that great. But definitely go for the ginger encrusted salmon, it was a hit!

I can't say enough about Cloud Nine! They were the only catering that I interview that actually fed me. That impressed me right off the bat. During our first meeting, Niki spent over an hour and a half with me discussing all the details for my dream day. They took care of everything from the archway for the ceremony to the food and wedding cake and all the rentals in between. Niki was an absolute delight to work with. My guests are still talking about how good the food was! Everything was just perfect.

My husband and I got married at The Lace Factory in July, and we couldn't be happier with how our day went! We absolutely loved the venue, and our guests kept talking about how beautiful, intimate and unique the space was. The food was delicious and the owner, Andrea, and staff at The Lace Factory were on top of every detail. We felt like the whole team wanted our day to go perfectly. There is plenty of space at this venue to be creative with decorations, and they have many different options available for you to include. We hired Broadturn Farm as our florist, and they did a stunning job creating beautiful arrangements that were true to the venue. We definitely recommend reaching out to them if you want gorgeous flowers! We hired Tiffany Zwart as our weekend wedding planner, and we cannot say enough amazing things about her! She was beyond supportive in helping us organize the details of our weekend, and she was super quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to and during the wedding. She has a calming and kind energy, which made her even more of a pleasure to work with. We can't picture how the wedding planning process would have went without her help, and we are so appreciative of her expertise! We are looking forward to visiting The Lace Factory for a Sunday brunch soon!

The wedding at The Lace Factory was planned by our daughter and her now husband. We couldn't be happier with the way their day turned out. We received numerous comments from our guests about the uniqueness of the venue and the quality of both the food and the service received.

The Lace Factory is a charming rustic building with lots of natural lighting due to all of the tall windows on 3 sides of the venue, one side looking out to a nicely landscaped
courtyard. It is equipped with a lovely Bridal Suite complete with champagne, fruit and cheese; there was such a relaxed vibe as we waited for the wedding ceremony to begin.

Andrea (owner) and Kim (wedding coordinator) did an amazing job of making the day so personal and memorable.

I am finally writing an overdue review of my wonderful wedding in August at The Lace Factory. I immediately wrote to Andrea and her super crew, but I want the rest of the world to know how awesome a job they did. Everything spelled out in the contract was successfully completed, plus there were other details that were added to make our day totally spectacular. The Lace Factory is such a romantic building, Cloud Nine Catering’s food was creative, delicious and the buffet had something for everybody including some interesting vegetarian options. It was beautifully presented and our guests are still raving after three months. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we opted for a small cutting cake and mini cupcakes in three different flavors--salted caramel chocolate was our favorite.

So what more can I add? Oh yes, the price was far more reasonable than other caterers we interviewed, plus the girls in the office were very pleasant and easy to work with, as was Andrea, the owner.

We are married for life, but down the road we may give a big bash for some celebration and I would certainly choose The Lace Factory again.

Andrea & the Cloud Nine team helped us pull off our dream wedding. We met Andrea at The Lace Factory about a year before our wedding and we knew she would be fabulous to work with. The only con, in the months leading up to the wedding the team was tough to get ahold of and there were miscommunications with our menu regarding food allergies (keep reading!). But when it came time for the day-of, everything was perfect - we had several gluten-free options on the menu that worked out beautifully. As a bride with Celiac this meant the world to me. The waitstaff was attentive to all of our guests, the food was incredible (our guests are still talking about it months later), and Andrea was wonderful to work with. You can tell she is passionate about her work, and she's an artist- a rare find in the wedding business. We are so grateful for all of their hard work, and so glad we found this team. Highly recommend!

Perfect Venue For a Rustic Wedding

The Lace Factory was the perfect venue for our wedding in August! The wedding coordinators were very organized, professional and fun to work with. They are able to accommodate pretty much all of our asks. We did not feel stressed at all!

We were in love with the vibe of this venue! The open spaces, lots of light and outdoor courtyard were beautiful. Everything (price-details-food-etc.) is laid out for you before you even go on a tour, which I definitely appreciated! Our captains Christine and Kim did an amazing job organizing the day and always made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hands. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Apps, entrees, desserts... I've been to many weddings and cloud nine catering at the lace factory is by far the best. There are also so many great places to take pictures... by the water, train tracks, in front of the factory. It was the PERFECT day!

We were amazed and delighted by food service of this caterer. The planning went great, they were very helpful in putting together our menu. We decided to have a buffet because there was no convenient place to set up and deliver a plated service. We were so glad we did! Our guests kept going back for seconds on all the food. They constantly told us it was the best wedding food they ever had. The menu we chose included braised short ribs, rock cornish game hens and butternut squash ravioli. The servers doled out the food so the guests did not have to touch a thing. We sat at our sweetheart table and were waited on hand and foot. Our plates were brought to us, so we did not get into the buffet line. Our wedding cake was very unusual, we asked them to recreate the look from a photograph. It was absolutely amazing! We chose pumpkin spice chocolate chip, and it was phenomenal. It was delicious and huge. Our coctail hour food was the the harvest table. It was georgous, and had the best smoled salmon, pumpkin bread, kielbasa, cheeses and veggies. The cheeses were really unusual, and very delicious. We were able to take home all of the left overs because there was a refrigerator. They packaged everything for us to take home easily. The servers were wonderfully efficient, bringing the plated salad out to over 50 people in a matter of minutes. They collected the dirty dishes in huge baskets which was quick, efficient, and very elegant. The staff was always smiling, and water glasses were refilled constantly. I can not say enough positive things about this caterer. We are emmmensely pleased and recommend them with all 5 stars!!!

The Lace Factory is a beautiful ceremony/reception venue for any future blushing bride. I would strongly urge you to make an appointment if you're planning a wedding in the Ct River Valley, you won't be disappointed.

The Lace Factory is an exceptionally unique site bursting with antique charm and is a welcome antidote to the soulless carpeted ballrooms synonymous with many weddings. The staff are amazing, professional, and highly attentive to detail. The food is divine and our guests were raving about it for months.

Kudos to Andrea, Courtney, and Erin for pulling our event together in only 3 months. Thank you anonymous couple for changing your wedding day so we could take June 2nd.

Weddings are expensive, bottom line, but if the Lace Factory fits in your budget run, don't walk to book it before someone else does.

The winner with Cloud Nine is their food. While they are a bit pricey (we spent $8000 to feed 90 people, including rentals) the product is well worth it. They use all organic ingredients and prepare it on site so everything is super fresh!

Cloud Nine Catering was amazing from start to finish. The tasting was probably one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. My husband and I didn't want traditional "wedding food"- we wanted something different. Cloud nine provides phenomenal, unique options that our guests are still raving about. I have to say, Andrea runs a very organized, professional, down to earth business and we certainly felt taken care of on our wedding day. We also hired Tiffany as our day of coordinator and when I tell you, this was one of the best decisions we made, I'm serious! Tiffany went ABOVE and BEYOND for us and she helped make our wedding day perfect. I told her my vision and she brought it to life. If you are going back and forth on hiring a coordinator, like I was, do it! It was well worth it and I can't say enough about how hard everyone worked to make us happy. Cloud nine as a whole exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled to have had them as our caterer on our special day.

We were absolutely delighted with the food, service, and attention to detail at our wedding reception. While we were not sure about the idea of having a buffet instead of plated service, once they suggested it would be much more efficient, we were glad to have made that choice. We have been told by all ofour guests that it was the best wedding food they ever had. We chose the braised game hens, the beef brisket, the butternut squash ravioli, spiced cauliflower and green beans almondine. I am very picky about how food is cooked, and let me just say they did everything to perfection. The green beans were bright green and crisp, not too much butter, just enough for the flavor, and beautifulsliced white almonds. The brisket was to die for, and it disappeared quickly. The hens just fell of their bones n moist flavorful clumps. The ravioli melted in your mout. The only regret was the limit to the size of everyone' s stomache. This after a magnificent display of some of the most eclectic and interesting cheeses and crackers I have ever seen. This harvest table was full of beautiful nova scotia smoked salmon with capers and red onion, seasoned kielbasa, vegetables, pumpkin bread amazing spreads and fruit. Simply astounding! But yet, when the wedding cake, that amazing, two color vanilla and chocolate frosted pumpkin spice chocolate chip cake, was cut, everyone emptied off the dance floor and dove in. The bottom layer alone weighed 10.5 pounds! We know because they neatly packaged up all of the leftovers and put them into the refrigerator at our venue for us to take home. we enjoyed every bite with our out of town guests. It was that good! The service was magnificent. My husband and I did not get up at all during the food service, we were waited on hand and foot. The food was served expertly so the guests needed only to say what they wanted, with a server at station. The bartender was lovely. They picked up the dishes in large baskets, nimbly clearing the tables in minutes.

The Lace Factory is the perfect venue for a unique wedding. We recently had our vintage themed wedding reception at The Lace Factory. Our guests are still talking about what a special venue it was. The food was provided by Cloud Nine catering and was fantastic. Andrea and her team were so accommodating and were able to meet all of special requests. The team is professional and a pleasure to work with. They made our vintage themed wedding come to life - it was beautiful! The grounds and courtyard are also lovely, and provide many spots for special wedding photos.

Cloud Nine provided the cake for our wedding. Actually- 2 cakes. That's how amazing their cakes were- we couldn't decide on just 1! We tried A LOT of cakes and theirs just... well- took the cake! We had one carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and one marble cake with vanilla pudding and chocolate ganache. The carrot cake had big chunks of raisin and nuts and the cream cheese frosting was fresh and light. Amazing. The pudding cake with the chocolate ganache was amazing. Guests said that they had never had such delicious wedding cakes. I know I hadn't. Until I tried Cloud Nine's cakes- I really thought that wedding cakes were just for decoration. But this cake was as stunning as it was delicious! We worked with Tiffany who was delightful. Their tasting was amazing. Such a great group to work with!

The Lace Factory is great for a bide looking for a unique experience. The venue itself is beautiful. My only concerns regarding the venue were that the bridal suite involved going up lots of stairs through what i believe was the owners apartment (a little awkward). The other issue was that towards the end of the night the owner also came down into our wedding- in dirty jeans and a tee-shirt with hair a mess- which to me was not professional. The actual space is very nice and they were willing to let us decorate how we wanted and bring in anything we wanted. The staff was also excellent the day of the wedding.

My wedding was on 10/7/12 at Eolia Mansion in Harkness State Park. Cloud Nine was on the short list of approved caterers the park allows. We were thrilled with the quality of their food, service, and our guests RAVED about the food, cake, and friendliness of the staff. I had at least 10 of my guests ask me where I "found" them. The only negative thing I have to say was that sometimes they took a while to get back to me on questions and emails. I did my best to remember that with a fall wedding, they were probably pretty busy during the summer and I needed to be patient. However, the closer we got to the event, we buttoned everything up, mainly because Des, our coordinator, was a saint. She did anything and everything to make sure things went smoothly day of. As soon as we met the first time, she was responsive, obviously cared about our happiness and truly did everything she could to make sure everyone was comfortable. Overall I would highly recommend this caterer to anyone interested in using them. Their food was fantastic, service was friendly, and my guests were happy!

We fell in love with the lace factory when we first saw it. It is such a unique venue that is anything but cookie cutter. While there were things that got lost in translation with little details, we had a wonderful time.

At Eolia Mansion you can only choose from 6 differernt caterers these were the best priced so we went with them...

There were a few things I was less than thrilled with but nothing that could ruin the day AND they did our cake which was gorgeous and delicious!!!!! Tiramisu... YUM!

This venue only has one caterer (Cloud Nine Catering). The caterer is excellent, but in the beginning it was bit confusing contacting the venue and getting my emails forwarded over to the caterer, who I had not previously met with.
My tour with the venue owner was brief and not professional. The door was locked when we got there and she was 10-15 mins later to come outside and open the door for us. She was dressed very casually, and did not acknowledge that we were locked out.
The tour was brief and she was to the point, which was helpful, she was able to answer all of the questions we had.
Parking is limited there (47 spaces), but they offer a steam train shuttle for an extra $1500, which is a nice memorable touch.

The space is beautiful!!! - very rustic chic so not a lot of decor is needed, which is a nice cut on cost.

LET ME EXPLAIN.... This is the most BEAUTIFUL wedding venue in the world and I absolutely loved having my wedding there. I am still craving the food and I got married a month ago. So please, if you like rustic, earthy, New England beauty, and the best food on earth... have your wedding there!!! Just be forewarned: the owner is VERY difficult to deal with. I read a review before I decided to go with her that said she would nickel and dime me for everything... yup, sure did! She will go back on things she said, she will not return calls, she will change contracts after they are already signed, she's just an awful business person. With that said, if I had to do it all over again, I still would. The price is really okay compared to other shoreline locals and it's such a unique venue. All in all, worth the headache!
