  We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding this past November! My husband is Jewish and I was raised Catholic. It was very important to us to incorporate both of our religious upbringings into our ceremony and Rabbi Mark was the answer to our wedding needs! He was so knowledgeable about both religions and traditions stemming from both of our backgrounds. We received multiple compliments on the beautiful and touching ceremony that he officiated. He was able to make a ceremony that reflected both of us perfectly. We cannot recommend him highly enough,

  We love Rabbi Mark Newton! From the initial meetings to writing the ceremony to the ceremony itself, Rabbi Mark made the process easy and very enjoyable. Even more so, he really took the extra time to make our marriage special and unique to us. He went above and beyond our expectations.   Rabbi Mark saved our wedding! After two officiants fell through a month before our wedding, we found Rabbi Mark on WeddingWire and were very fortunate that he was available for our date. Once he was onboard, he made us a top priority, speaking to us on the phone, meeting us at our home, and helping to plan every detail of what turned out to a beautiful, emotional, and fun ceremony. We ended up having a fairly traditional Jewish ceremony, but tailored to our needs. Rabbi Mark was very helpful and flexible, not to mention extremely knowledgeable. He has a beautiful singing voice and he speaks a bunch of languages beyond Hebrew. We asked him to include a bit of French to honor some of our guests. We just can't say enough good things about Rabbi Mark, he was so wonderful. If you spend five minutes talking to him, you will know what we mean. The ceremony exceeded all expectations by far and we couldn't be happier. Rabbi Mark is a very large part of what made our wedding so perfect and special.

  I'm Jewish and my husband is Irish, so an Irish rabbi was perfect for us. We met in person so he could get to know us and talk about the kind of ceremony we wanted. Although Mark is a rabbi, he can make the ceremony as religious, multi-religious, or secular as you want. He told us a lot about the Jewish and Irish wedding traditions so that we could make informed decisions about what we wanted to include in our ceremony. We ended up doing a kiddush ceremony using Irish mead instead of regular wine, for example. My husband and I wrote the ceremony ourselves, based on a template that Mark sent us. He gave us great advice on the order and timing so that everything flowed nicely.
  
  Our ceremony was mostly secular and in English, but included some blessings in Hebrew and Irish Gaelic. It was such a great combination of our backgrounds and made our wedding day really special. Guests loved the ceremony and Mark stayed to talk to anyone who was interested afterwards. After the wedding, people kept telling us how wonderful the ceremony was.
  
  Another nice thing was that Mark is very flexible about where photographers can go. Obviously some venues are stricter than others (ours was pretty relaxed), but Mark was fine with our photographer being up close to the ceremony.
  
  We couldn't have asked for a better wedding officiant and we would highly recommend Mark Newton!

  Rabbi Newton was the officiant at my wedding a few weeks ago. He is extremely professional, kind, knowledgeable, and funny. My husband and I met with him last fall and knew right away that Mark was the rabbi for us. My husband is Jewish and I am not which I was so worried it would be a problem finding a rabbi who wouldn't have a problem with that. Mark Newton is the best for any wedding and isn't intimidating what so ever. He discussed my options with me for the ceremony and gave me advice on whether to convert or not. Everyone at our wedding enjoyed our rabbi. He had a nice flow, great singing voice, and added the right amount of humor. Thank you!

  I am Jewish and my husband is catholic and Rabbi Mark Newton was incredibly easy to work with and helped us put together a ceremony that incorporated traditions from both religions. Rabbi Mark Newton knows an incredible amount about all different religions and helped to create a personal, warm, and unique ceremony that was perfect for us. I had many guests come up and comment to me after my wedding, how wonderful our ceremony was.

  Rabbi Newton performed a baby naming along with the baptism we had for our daughter. He was engaging and thoughtful during the ceremony (which was held with the christening at an Episcopal church). He was easy to work with - both with my husband and me and with our Rev. Pam Werntz at Emmanuel Church to create a truly complementary service. He helped us choose a Hebrew name for our daughter that was meaningful. His presence at the baby naming/baptism was so important to make it a special occasion for our daughter and my husband and his relatives.

  Rabbi Newton was absolutely perfect! He impressed us all and was so kind to those unfamiliar with the Jewish traditions. He read the prayers I Hebrew and then explained them to our guests. Our family's absolutely loved him!
  I would recommend him to officiate in a heart beat! Could not be happier!!

  Rabbi Mark Newton created the PERFECT ceremony for us! From the very beginning, I was looking for an officiant that was upbeat and fun-spirited. I really wanted someone with personality to marry us. Rabbi Mark is exactly the man we were looking for!! We are an interfaith couple, and from day one he made us both feel entirely comfortable and allowed us to craft a ceremony that was completely tailored to our shared wants and needs. He took the time to get to know us, and that showed in the way he spoke about us during the ceremony. He was always there for us at any point we needed him, and has stressed that he will continue to be there into the future. He is warm, funny and very knowledgeable for any questions you may have. He is also extremely accommodating - we needed to expedite our marriage license, and he personally drove to my home town the day after the wedding to hand deliver to Town Hall! We could not have been happier to have had Rabbi Mark marry us, and we highly recommend him to any couple looking for a fabulous officiant!

  Rabbi Newton officiated our ceremony in Killington Vermont. He was incredibly easy to work with and great with correspondence. We had an interfaith ceremony and Rabbi Newton presented a number of options that allowed for respect for both sides. When performing the ceremony he speaks clearly, loudly, engaging the audience into the event. Rabbi Newton made sure that we both understood all aspects of the ceremony. Highly recommend!

  We absolutely cannot say enough about Rabbi Mark Newton and the quality of service he provided for our special day - and in the months leading up to it.
  He's warm, funny, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and from the first moment we contacted him, to the end of our ceremony, it seemed that all he cared about was putting us at ease and making sure we were completely comfortable with how the ceremony went. A very classy guy who made our wedding work for us.

  Rabbi Mark Newton was the officiant for my wedding earlier this month. Within just a few minutes of having our initial conversation nearly a year earlier I knew that he was going to be my choice. He is very professional and knowledgable and at the same time carries himself with light humor and fun. He responds to communication quickly and is easily reachable by email, phone, and even... Skype!
  
  I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for great service at a great price with a few laughs in the process.

  Rabbi Newton performed our daughter's Jewish naming ceremony a few weekends ago on June 7, 2015. The service was absolutely fantastic! We are an interfaith couple. So Rabbi Newton explained the relevance behind all of the rituals so that both our Irish Catholic and Southern Jewish relatives understood. Everyone thought the ceremony was very special and even entertaining.
  
  Rabbi Newton was very responsive and accommodating to our needs in the planning of the ceremony. I would certainly use him for other Jewish ceremonies in the future.

  Rabbi Newton was fantastic to work with for our recent wedding. He is incredibly thoughtful and inclusive, and was willing (and even excited) to meet with us several times before the wedding to talk with us about options for our ceremony. He was eager to allow us to combine elements from different cultures that were important to us - and even did extra research on best ways to include things we were interested in. He is an engaging speaker, and we received so many compliments on how wonderful our ceremony was or from friends and family who spoke with Rabbi Newton after the ceremony as well! Definitely made our ceremony extra special, and made sure that both Jewish and non-Jewish attendants felt very welcome and included in our day.

  Rabbi Mark Newton has great people skills and a great voice. He helped with our ketubah text (excellent multi-lingual translation skills!), organized singing with some of our friends, and helped the day run smoothly! He is flexible, friendly, and humble. He is also well-equipped to deal with all kinds of weddings and couples.

  Rabbi Newton was so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole planning process...and the wedding itself! My husband is not Jewish but he felt very comfortable with our ceremony. Rabbi Newton really paid attention to Scott's needs and comfort zone and gave him several options (for example, he didn't have to wear a yarmulke if he didn't want to, minimal Hebrew on our parts, explanation of each section of the ceremony so our non-Jewish friends and family could understand to name a few points). Also, his singing voice is beautiful! So many of our guests told us how much they loved the ceremony...some even said they wished they could get remarried so they could have Rabbi Newton as the officiant!

  Rabbi Mark Newton was the greatest pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable, spiritual, and fun. He also has a great personality. My spouse and I were deeply touched by his words and our guests commented on how fine an officiate Rabbi Newton was and how he created such a beautiful ceremony. Some of our non-Jewish friends said that he made them wish they had had a Jewish wedding.
  
  The Rabbi gave us personal attention from the earliest planning stages up to the actual event. The wedding was in Provincetown and the Rabbi is based in Boston while we live near New York City. We were prepared to work out all of the details by phone and email yet he made a trip to New York to meet with us in person two months before the wedding and would not even accept our offer to at least cover his extra expenses. In working out the texts and translations for the ceremony it was clear that Rabbi Newton had given serious study to Jewish marriage and we found that his personal translations of the Hebrew prayers into English were often the most precise and at the same time most poetic.
  
  It was a wonderful experience and we are very proud to call Rabbi Mark our Rabbi.

  Rabbi Mark Newton is truly a fantastic person! My husband and I really wanted to combine both of our religions in a co-officiated ceremony (Jewish and Catholic) for our wedding and Rabbi Newton was happy to help. He worked with us to develop the perfect wedding script and had fantastic suggestions about how to make sure our wedding ceremony everything we had hoped for while also respecting the religious beliefs of both families. In addition to speaking over the phone and Skype several times to get to know us, Rabbi Newtown drove several hours to meet us in person before our wedding. He is a great source of knowledge and advice, and we just can't thank him enough for making our wedding perfect.

  Rabbi Mark Newton went above and beyond in his service for our wedding. He was responsive, helpful, and available. Rabbi Newton performed beautifully and was very thoughtful and receptive to our requests and suggestions throughout the process.   Rabbi Mark was such a pleasure to work with. He officiated my uncle & aunts wedding 17 years ago, then did our wedding in July of 2012 and then my brother's in June of 2013. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great rabbi and now a great friend.

  Rabbi Mark Newton was an outstanding officiant for our wedding! He worked closely with us to develop an interfaith ceremony that was modern, inclusive and personal while still rooted in Jewish tradition -- and everyone loved it!   Rabbi Mark Newton was really such a pleasure to work with. From our first meeting with him we knew we wanted him to officiate our Jewish wedding. He was open to making the ceremony as religious or secular as we wanted. He is very personable, and always willing to meet up to go over anything.   I am so happy that Rabbi Mark Newton officiated at our wedding this past September. I am Jewish and my husband is Irish Catholic, and while the ceremony was a progressive Jewish ceremony, we incorporated the full Irish Blessing. Rabbi Newton made the ceremony applicable to everyone, which is exactly what I wanted. Every single person, no matter what their religious background was, felt connected and a part of our special ceremony.
  
  Rabbi Newton also allows you to edit the ceremony and provide as much input as you'd like. His personality is fantastic--he is lively, funny and overall extremely easy to work with. He made us feel at ease (especially my husband with the glass breaking) during the entire process and we are extremely happy with our choice.
  
  I had so many people approach me during the reception and after the wedding to tell me how wonderful our Rabbi was and how moved they were by his words. All in all, he's a wonderful person and above all, a pro.
