Dec. 6th, 2024 my husband and I got engaged at the Christmas tree at Rotary Park in Cape May, NJ. It's such a magical town and a magical time of year. In January 2025, we reached out to Jeri Anne at The Inn Of Cape May. We discussed our plans for a Christmassy December wedding. Without thinking twice, she was on it. She helped us figure out everything from our dinner selections, entertainment for the reception, transportation ideas, and all vendors we needed for the ceremony and everything in between. In the end, with the help and attentiveness of Jeri Anne we were able to pull off my very own perfect Hallmark Christmas Wedding. The entire experience was truly remarkable and we are so blessed to have chosen the Inn and to have Jeri Anne help make everything perfect! -

Perfect wedding venue
The Inn of Cape May is the perfect wedding venue! We are an older couple who has been coming to Cape May for years and the Inn of Cape May has long been a favorite of ours whether it is for staying overnight or dining or just having cocktails on the porch. We weren’t sure where we were going to get married and were between a destination wedding in Italy or the Caribbean or doing something near home (South Jersey).
We decided to take a quick trip to Cape May one weekend and thought we would take a look around at Venues. We looked at a couple of places that seemed nice. As soon as we stepped into The Inn, we knew that we had found the perfect place for us! We hadn’t made an appointment to look at it but the wedding coordinator Jeri Anne Gerace was there and was willing to show us around and we decided quite quickly to book.
We were married on 28th of June 2025. Things went so smoothly Jeri Anne was always available to discuss any questions we had. Gave us great options on different vendors to use, Which were all quite to our satisfaction. We booked the wedding in late March and were able to get everything together in 4 months! The food was delicious from the appetizers to the dinner. The staff was great too.
Our favorite thing about the wedding was the romantic vibe! It isn’t overly luxurious but it is perfect. And you can’t beat perfect. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful wedding. -

As an older couple with a deep love for the ocean, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding. Jeri Anne was wonderful; she truly listened to our needs and used her extensive experience to guide us through the entire process, making our big day feel incredibly special. Since we wanted to be near the water, we also worked with Don from Chapels on the Beach, who helped us create a breathtaking ceremony right on the sand.
The Inn of Cape May provided a stunning backdrop with its Victorian charm and "old world" feel. The rooms were comfortable, the restaurant and bar were lovely, and the food was spectacular—easily accommodating both our vegan and non-vegan guests. The staff truly exceeded our expectations with their helpfulness and warmth. -

We booked the Inn of Cape May without knowing much about it and we are so happy we did! The venue was perfect for our Victorian style wedding with all the right modern updates. It provided a beautiful backdrop and gave us the ability to have everything in one place, it was so fun to have our guests all staying in the hotel. The ballroom was perfect for our 100 person wedding plus an 8 piece band and plenty of room for dancing. Our guests raved about the food, especially during cocktail hour and the drinks were also excellent. Along with that, Jeri Anne, the venue coordinator was so easy to work with and so helpful and Debbie, our day of coordinator made everything run smoothly and had it all setup exactly as we envisioned. It was truly a perfect day and I would recommend this venue to anyone interested in having a stunning Cape May wedding. -

I found Jerri Ann on PopClink and wasn't sure she could even help as I was unsure of our budget and goals since we are older and didn't think we wanted a big to do. She was great and responsive and full of ideas and suggestions. Always working with us and dealing with the last minute stuff of me changing my mind and adding this or subtracting that. The venue itself was wonderful, the weather was not. last minute we had to move it to inside and I had a pit in my stomach bc the whole time I imagined it outside. All my worry was for nothing bc Jerri and the Inn pulled it off. It looked great, food was great, service was wonderful. I have no complaints. If I had to do it over again I'd want less light in the room so it wasn't so bright, beyond that, I wouldn't have changed a thing. I would recommend the Inn and Jerri Ann with confidence. -

We had our breakfast at the Inn of Cape May the day after our wedding in September and it was a wonderful experience and they had a wonderful spread for us to enjoy. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our guests really enjoyed themselves. We highly recommend this as a spot for special events! -

Our wedding at the Inn of Cape May was an absolute dream come true. This stunning historic building, located directly across from the beach, offers a picturesque setting with its large lawn, wrap-around porch, and newly renovated indoor reception room that accommodates up to 150 guests.
Jeri Anne, the coordinator for this venue, was exceptional. She made the entire process seamless by meeting with us ahead of time to discuss the schedule, decor, and other details. They even allowed us to drop off all our wedding decor the night before, and she went out of her way to set everything up perfectly. From the menus on tables to the seating chart, audiobook, frames, and cocktail hour extras, Jeri Anne handled it all with love.
Our ceremony was on the beach across from the Inn and it was magical!! While we were responsible for our own vendors, everything went smoothly, and we are so glad we chose the beach for the ceremony.
The servers at the Inn of Cape May went above and beyond to ensure our guests had everything they needed, taking special care to consider allergies and dietary restrictions. The food was outstanding – I still think about it to this day! Everyone raved about the hors d'oeuvres from cocktail hour and the crab cakes and steak served at the reception. The bartenders were also super friendly and they did not skimp on liquor that’s for sure! Drinks were great.
I couldn’t have dreamt of a better wedding or location. I am so thankful for all the staff at the Inn of Cape May for making our special day so perfect. -

The Inn of Cape May truly made it the wedding of our dreams! The renovations are beautiful and also maintained the historic charm of the Inn, which was a main drawing point for us. We loved that everything happened onsite — and so did our guests! It's so true...your wedding day goes by so quickly so having everything happen at one location was ideal for us. We especially loved the charming cocktail hour on the lawn and gorgeous wrap around porch. It really was a highlight for us and our guests. The Inn is also right in the heart of Cape May, which provided ample entertainment for our guests and stunning photo opportunities. Jeri Anne, Jill, and the Inn of Cape May team really went above and beyond to make our wedding so special! Jeri Anne really took our vision and made it come to life. Any time we came down for planning and a quick visit, the team always made a point to make us feel welcome and special, and to help with any questions. It was truly a night to remember and we thank the Inn of Cape May and its team for making our wedding spectacular! -

My daughter got married on October 14th 2023 at the Inn of Cape May. We had an amazing experience. The charm and history of the Inn coupled with the modern updates made the venue perfect. Jerri Anne and Jill were so supportive and flexible as we had a Rainey day but it did not cloud a perfect wedding. We had a tent on property. The food also did not disappoint. -

Perfect wedding!
My husband and I got engaged on January 2, 2023 and were married on May 20, 2023 and The Inn of Cape May made planning a wedding in under 6 months exciting and stress free!
Jeri Anne was the ultimate coordinator. It rained on our wedding day and she made the arrangements to move our cocktail hour indoors in just over an hour. She took care of all of the details and we were free to enjoy our day with our guests. The food was incredible and our dam and friends are still talking about it. Our bartender was charming and made made it feel like the celebration of the century! The entire staff made us feel special and welcome-including the bellhops who were absolutely delightful and welcoming to every guest.

Beautiful wedding
When we were searching for a venue, as soon as we walked into the ballroom at the Inn of Cape we knew it would be the place where we wanted to have our reception. We got married there on October 21st of this year. The ambiance of the inn was just what we were looking for. The food was great. The chef was very accommodating to our requests. We are delighted we chose the Inn of Cape May to have our wedding. -

I got married here
My husband and I were one of the first couple’s to get married at the recently renovated Inn of Cape May! The Inn is simply beautiful, and we immediately fell in love with the modern coastal decor paired with the authentic charm of historic Cape May. We got married in a tent on the front lawn and had our reception in the ballroom. From the front porch to the lobby there were so many beautiful spots to have photos taken. The staff was amazing to work with, and made us feel so special. It rained on our wedding day, but Jerri Anne and Jill went above and beyond to make sure everything was still perfect. The food and alcohol was also amazing, and all of our guests could not stop raving about it the high quality! -

Hosting our wedding at Aleathea's at the Inn of Cape May made wedding weekend of our dreams come true! Beth from the Inn was extremely helpful and patient through the planning of our big event! Ordering from Aleathea's restaurant and bar menu definitely helped keep the costs in check. The Inn was amazing with the wedding set up I asked for in executing our vision! Getting ready with hair and make up on-site in their suites made the big day start off relaxing! The cocktail hour on the porch and lawn was perfect! The two large private banquet rooms for the sit down reception meal had a wonderful combination of both ambiance and sophistication. The food and service were top notch!! With the Inn right across from the beach my husband and I even easily got out over dinner to take sunset pictures! We encouraged guests to stay at the Inn and had a private wedding brunch the next morning to extend the celebration! The Aleathea's and the Inn is a perfect place to host your Cape May wedding! -

October wedding at Inn of Cape May (IOCM)
My wife and I have vacationed in Cape May with our families almost our whole lives. When we got engaged, we both knew we wanted to get married in Cape May but hadn't decided where. We looked at and reviewed just about every wedding venue option, but we both agreed that the IOCM stood out from all the rest because of its architecture, porches, ambiance, wedding package options, pricing and overall comfortable vibe. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at the door and staff even helped us unload 4 carloads of our wedding "stuff". Gerianne is the Director of Sales and Events and she walked us through every step of the process and answered every question "we" had. The location is directly across the street from the beach and makes it really easy for your photographer and/or videographer to capture great wedding pictures. Highly recommend! -
