We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding reception at Imperia by Dhaba, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We had the pleasure of working with Ashish to coordinate all of the event details. He was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. On the day of the reception, Ashish and his team executed everything beautifully. The indoor-outdoor cocktail hour was elegant, and the transition into the banquet hall was seamless.

We just recently had my daughter’s graduation party, and it was like my fairytale for her came to life. The people the food that atmosphere was just incredible. Our experience at Imperia for my sister’s wedding was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, and he worked seamlessly with our family to ensure the day unfolded exactly as we envisioned.

The food was exceptional. We enjoyed a delicious lunch before the ceremony, followed by an unforgettable cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. Every single guest raved about how amazing the food tasted — the presentation was just as impressive as the flavors.

I recently attended my cousin’s Jaggo event at The Imperia by Dhaba while visiting from Canada, and I must say I was truly impressed by the venue! All the ballrooms were booked for our event, and everything was beautifully arranged.

We started with a cocktail hour at the outdoor patio — such a lovely setup! The lamb chops were absolutely amazing, along with the rest of the appetizers. The bar was well-stocked and had almost everything we could ask for.

Dinner was hosted in one of the grand ballrooms — the space was huge, the ambience was elegant, and the décor was on point. The highlight of the evening for me was the dessert table — it looked stunning and had so many tempting options! I honestly couldn’t decide what to eat, so I ended up piling my plate with 10–12 different desserts — and that was only a fraction of what was available!

A special shoutout to Manager Summit, whom I met during the event. It was great chatting with him in Punjabi — he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly.

Overall, the staff did a wonderful job, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend The Imperia by Dhaba to anyone looking for a perfect venue for their special events. Thank you, Team Dhaba — we had an unforgettable experience!

Ashish is outstanding yo work with. We booked the venue 1.5 years out for a large Indian wedding that just happened last weekend.

The venue had every requirement we wanted. Each guest raved about the beautiful outdoors space including the patio and gazebo area, the food, the Viennese dessert selection, and overall ambiance.

We searched so many places and are so happy with how everything turned out.

I had my wedding at the Imperia and it was fabulous! The food and drinks were amazing and the staff was very attentive. I would highly recommend this venue for any type of event.

Ashish and team weee very cooperative and accommodated our requests very nicely. They were able to customize the menu and suggest good options catered to our South Indian cuisine. The chef understood our requests and honored them. They also accommodated our daughter’s food restrictions and separately served her. Food especially appetizers were great and all of our guests enjoyed it.

My wife and I trusted The Imperia with one of the most important days of our lives, and unfortunately, it became one disappointment after another.

The problems started the day before our wedding. During our rehearsal, the downstairs area smelled like garbage. I immediately told Susanne and was informed garbage from a previous event had been left overnight. I expected it to be resolved before our wedding.

Instead, when we returned on our wedding day, the smell was even worse. Staff sprayed Febreze, but it only masked the odor briefly. My wife and her bridesmaids had to endure the smell of garbage while getting their hair and makeup done. We repeatedly asked for it to be addressed, but it never truly was.

The reception room’s air vents were covered in dust and debris until I pointed it out. Susanne actually had to go to Home Depot to buy a tool so they could clean them. Before our reception even began, I also had to ask staff to clean a bathroom because there was urine on the floor.

We were promised our guests could wait in the cocktail area before the ceremony, but it wasn’t ready. Guests were left wandering the venue, standing outside, and waiting in their cars in nearly 100-degree weather. Because there was no coordination, guests were also able to walk into the area where my wife was getting ready before the ceremony.

The maître d’ arrived only minutes before the ceremony, and during our reception the power went out, causing a blackout.

We paid for salmon as one of our entrée selections, yet the venue ran out. More than 12 guests told us they never received the meal they ordered and were instead served fried tilapia without being informed or asked. One of those tables included my boss. It was incredibly embarrassing.

Our cake was brought out without the cake topper we provided, and the menus contained misspellings.

After the wedding, my wife had to repeatedly follow up for weeks before we finally received an apology with no accountability or meaningful resolution.

The Imperia is well known for hosting Indian events, and after everything we experienced, I couldn’t help but question whether our wedding received the same level of care because it was not an Indian event. I sincerely hope that wasn’t the case, but that is how this experience left us feeling.

The only reason I kept my composure was because we had our parents, elderly family members, friends, and coworkers there. Inside, I was devastated. No apology can give us those moments back.

I’m sharing this because no couple should have to spend their wedding day dealing with these kinds of preventable issues. We spent months planning and trusted The Imperia to deliver the experience we paid for. Sadly, that did not happen

Unfortunately, our wedding at this venue on July 2, 2026, was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the level of service we were promised or paid for.

One of the entrée options included in our signed contract was salmon. During the reception, the venue ran out of salmon and substituted tilapia without notifying us or our guests. This was not the meal we contracted for, and no effort was made to communicate the change or offer an appropriate resolution afterward. For an event of this importance, failing to provide a contracted menu item is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, that was only one of several issues. The asparagus served was raw and difficult to eat, leaving many guests unable to enjoy their meal. The menu cards contained spelling errors at the wedding, making them appear unprofessional. Throughout both the rehearsal and wedding day, there was a strong odor of trash and garbage in and around the venue, which was unpleasant for both us and our guests. The air vents in the reception space were visibly dirty, and my cake topper was forgotten. In addition, I did not meet our Maître d’, Abby, until approximately 10 minutes before my ceremony, which added unnecessary stress on an already busy day.

I originally worked with Arlene Astacio, but after she was out, my coordinator became Susanne Frees. Since the wedding, I have made multiple attempts to discuss these issues and seek a fair resolution, particularly regarding the salmon that was included in our contract but never served. Communication has been poor, responses have been delayed, and I was ultimately told that the venue would not provide any compensation.

After spending a significant amount of money, I expected the venue to deliver the services outlined in our contract and to take responsibility when they did not. Instead, we were left disappointed by both the execution of our wedding and the lack of accountability afterward.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this venue to couples who value professionalism, attention to detail, communication, cleanliness, and honoring contractual commitments.
