Loved the Flavors

We decided to do both a small cake and several flavors of cupcakes for our wedding and not only were all of the flavors amazing, but they brought and set them out so that they looked beautiful for everyone to grab. Our initial meeting was also incredibly smooth and my husband and I enjoyed trying all of the flavor combinations.

Wedding - June 23, 2019

The icing did an absolutely amazing job on my daughter's wedding cake and cupcakes. Many of our guests raved about how delish the cupcakes were. We chose an assortment of 4 flavors of cupcakes and a small cake to cut. If you are looking for a cake vendor for your wedding do not hesitate to contact them!

So happy !

Icing did a great job with not only my wedding cake, but they were extremely helpful with each additional call we made to add on a groom's cake, a birthday cupcake and even when my mother called to add cupcakes for the post wedding brunch. Everything turned out beautiful and absolutely delicious.

Great Cake & Cupcakes!!!

We had The Icing make our wedding cake and not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! We also had a variety of cupcakes which were so yummy! Our favorite was the peanut butter/chocolate and the Andy's Mint one. They were very reasonable with pricing and listened to exactly what we wanted for our cake. We will definitely stop by and get more cupcakes in the future! Well worth it!

My husband and I loved our cake! It was based on a design that we found in one of their books and they tweaked it a little bit to be exactly what we wanted. It looked so beautiful we didn’t want to eat it! All of our guests commented on how beautiful the cake was and it tasted amazing! We chose strawberry and grapefruit and it was light and perfect for summer. Ive never really liked fondant but whatever they do to it it is to die for.

After doing some research, my husband and I decided to go with the Icing Baking Company for our wedding cake/cupcakes. It was the best decision we made! We chose to go with a simple two-tier cutting cake and 125 cupcakes for our guests. We couldn't decide on the flavors for the cupcakes, so we ended up having five different kinds. Our guests raved about how delicious the cupcakes were and especially raved about the Caramel Apple! The Icing packed up a couple of the cupcakes for us to have after the wedding, which was a really nice touch. They also gave us a certificate for a complimentary anniversary cake for our 1 Year Anniversary, which we are super thrilled about. I would definitely recommend the Icing Baking Company to anyone looking for a delicious wedding cake/cupcakes at a very reasonable price.

We planned our wedding quickly. The Icing was able to accommodate our timeline. While this was our wedding date it was also my be husbands Birthday. So not only did The Icing make a wedding cake, I had cupcakes also. We had color changes to our cake that were accommodated smoothly. Both looked great and were very tasty. I have purchased other delicious desserts throughout the year and have always been satisfied. You cannot go wrong with The Icing!!!!!!

Contacted The Icing to set-up a tasting. My sister had used them for her wedding a year earlier and I was excited to have the same product. We had no issue setting up an appointment, tasting, and describing our dream cake. The result was exactly what we expected and all of our guests kept commenting on how great the cake tasted and was displayed. Thank you!

The Icings cakes are absolutely beautiful and taste great! Our daughter couldn't choose between a cake or cupcakes so we did both. The icing provided a cake designed for royalty and a desert display to warm any ones heart. The staff was very supportive and provide excellent guidance as we planned for our special day.

**Cupcakes only** We used Icing to add cupcakes to our dessert bar. They went so quickly! Setting up an order was a cinch and there was no issue.

Don't be put off by how the cake tasting goes, its a little different than other places, but for a good reason. You can customize these cakes with filling and cake flavors, they have so many options that it would be impossible to taste all combinations.

We asked for a custom design, which was a very easy process, and the cake just looked amazing when all was said and done. Communication was easy and everyone was so nice!! Our cake was not delivered, but it was packed very well, the instructions for transport were very specific, and we had NO issues.

I dream of the day when I can have their cake again. You much check them out! Pricing was what we expected and worth it for legitimately excellent cake.

The Icing Baking Company did such a fantastic job on my wedding cake! Everything was perfect! It looked amazing and it tasted great! I highly recommend the pink champagne cake! All of our wedding guests raved about our wedding cake and said how it was the best they've tasted! They delivered the cake and had everything set up perfectly. I also love the fact that they give you a certificate for a free 1 year anniversary cake.

My husband and I we're getting married the same weekend as a lot of high school graduations and even though I knew that it was going to be a busy weekend for them I still felt like I was the only one having a cake made they made me feel very comfortable and not to mention the cake was so beautiful I would definitely recommend the icing company to all of my friends keep up the good work

I first learned of the Icing Baking Company at a Bridal Show. The owner was providing cake shooters as samples and they were flying off the shelves because they were unique and tasted amazing. I wasn't engaged at the time but knew that The Icing Baking Company would be my cake vendor of choice when the time came because their cakes are simply delicious.

Once engaged my current husband and I setup a tasting with them. My husband does not usually like cake but LOVED the cake provided at the tasting. He even chose our flavors himself because he liked it so much.

We ordered the cake shooters for our guests and a his and hers cake for ourselves for our wedding on July 11th 2015. The guests are still talking about those shooters a year later!

I definitely recommend this vendor for anyone's cake needs!

The Icing Baking Co. did an amazing job with our wedding cupcake tower and wedding cake topper! They were very professional, took the time to listen to our design must-haves, and the final product was beautiful! The cupcakes were a HUGE hit for all of our guests... everyone loved having their own cupcake with flavor options. Plus, our wedding sweetheart cake was delicious! We went with the pink champagne cake with white chocolate mousse and raspberry coulis, AMAZING! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Icing Baking Company!

Our wedding cake came out exactly the way we wanted it to look and also tasted delicious! Many of our guests commented on how it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. The store was also extremely helpful during the whole process. Our wedding happened to fall the weekend of winter storm Jonas so they made arrangements to get it delivered to our venue ahead of time. We cannot thank them enough!

I would absolutely recommend The Icing to anybody! My husband and I did a consultation and brought in several pictures of cakes. Our cake came out exactly how I pictured it would. We got so many compliments from our guests on the taste of it too!

We tried dozens of bakeries in the area and the The Icing was the only cake that actually tasted good! The cake is moist; the frosting and fondant are tasty without being sickly sweet; and the design options are gorgeous. The Icing also has options that are affordable and they offered us free delivery and set-up to our local venue. Best of all, on our wedding night we were given a certificate for a complimentary cake for our one-year anniversary. No need to save our cake topper in a freezer for a year! I was extremely impressed with the quality of the product The Icing created and with the professionalism of their service. I plan to get all my special occasion cakes from them in the future.

I always say that the one part of my wedding that was absolutely perfect was my cake!! Not only was it delicious and fresh, but the finished product and presentation of our cake was EXACTLY what we envisioned. The staff at The Icing took great care to listen to what we wanted our wedding cake to look like and taste like, and they more than delivered. Wow! What can you say? The wedding cake was delicious, but even more, having multiple flavored cupcakes as the main portion for the guests made a world of difference. No wasted cake! Everything was moist and delicious.

The entire Icing staff was friendly but truly my heart goes out to Lynette. I booked them after a tasting that they held at their shop, the cake choices were so fun (peanut butter and jelly cake?? who knew??) and delicious. She and her team of artists created two cakes that were unique and beautiful and tasted SCRUMPTIOUS. I was really nervous about how the wild idea we discussed would come out but they did a magnificent job. My husband's grooms cake was a 3D rendition of his beloved motorcycle. You almost wanted to jump on it and ride away they did such justice to the details. The guest RAVED about the wedding cakes! I remember Lynette telling me that part of what prompted her to create the business was the fact that she couldn't find a delicious, beautiful cake for her own wedding. Well, if you're reading this you don't have to suffer with that particular issue because she has the perfect combination of great cake, designs to choose from and even better than that, you can create your own...or in my case, just tell them about your wedding theme and let them help you come up with something completely, beautifully, deliciously YOU! My only regret was other than the couple of bites we gave each other when we cut it, we didn't get any of either wedding cake because our guests loved it so much that they took it all!

The exceptional bakers at The Icing made the perfect groom's cake for my rehearsal dinner. Everyone there was very easy to work with and totally nailed the cake and the design we were looking for. We went with one of their custom fillings and it was easily the best tasting cake I had ever had. I brought in the little leftovers there were into work and it was gone in 10 minutes. I highly recommend The Icing to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion, because the staff there will work with you to make the perfect looking and best tasting cake around!

We fell in love with The Icing's cakes when my in-laws got our engagement party cake from them. Their cakes are always delicious, whether it's a cupcake, birthday cake or wedding cake. For my husband and I, it was more important that we have a delicious tasting cake than a show stopper wedding cake. But that's not to say their cakes aren't gorgeous. Our wedding cake turned out exactly how I had envisioned it and got so many compliments on not only how good it was but how pretty it was as well. The staff were very pleasant to work with and made the whole experience stress free. I had no worries that our cake would not be there on time or that it wouldn't be delicious. We ended up choosing the flavors turtle and Boston creme. Both were crowd pleasers. We probably could have found a different place to do our cake for cheaper, but we decided to go with The Icing because we knew we could get the best tasting cake and the quality of service we wanted from the Icing.

The Icing Baking Company did our cake/ cup cakes for our wedding. I was extremely pleased with the friendly staff and all the wonderful flavors they offered, to include new flavors for the seasons, which was great for a fall wedding. The most memorable day was topped off with a memorable cake from The Icing! The bakery delivered a beautiful cake to my reception and I received a multitude of compliments. The cake was delicious and I had several flavors incorporated with each layer. I would definitely recommend using this vendor for any event that involves a cake!

I learned about The Icing at a bridal show, when I tried a sample of their Citrus Blossom and Creme Brulee cake. Love at first bite! Not to mention that that they use organic ingredients, a huge plus.

Their service was spectacular. They were incredibly patient and helpful through all stages of the process, from the consultation to the big day!

I cannot overstate how delicious their cake is. My husband and I can't wait for our first anniversary cake!

Great tasting Cupcakes!!! We really enjoyed the tasting for sure!!! My husband and I were not sure if we wanted a traditional cake or cupcakes, which would allow for a larger variety. After we met with the lady at Icing (sorry, I can't remember her name), we knew cupcakes were the way to go for us. The best part about this particular choice is we still got our traditional cake for the "cutting the cake" part of the reception and Icing provides you a gift certificate for a fresh cake for your 1st anniversary!!! We choose about five different flavors of cupcakes and they all were awesome!!! Certainly would recommend Icing to future Brides and Grooms!!!

I found The Icing on Wedding Wire and I decided to check them out. Thank God I did!! We went to a cake tasting and oh my were we impressed. Let me just add that I'm not a "sweets" or "desserts" kind of person so I just wanted my husband to like it. It was literally the best tasting cakes I've ever had. We were so lucky that we were able to get a couture cake because we honestly didn't know what we wanted...just that we wanted our colors and flower incorporated into the design. We first told Lynn that we were going to have about 125 guests and she told us right off the bat that she likes height and drama and we could count on servings for 175+ guests. She was not kidding! We ended up having about 140 guests and so much cake left over! It was so good! We had three different flavors. Our favorite was Citrus Blossom. The design was absolutely beautiful.

I'm so glad they have a kiosk station in Potomac Mills where I always have to pick up a cupcake or two.

Also they did my husband's birthday cake last year which I believe was a Fall classic flavor with a Redskins theme. Everyone loved it, especially him. So I will be going through them again for another cake of course!

The Icing Baking company is by far the best bakery around! They have an amazing and friendly staff, everybody was very helpful. The cupcakes and cakes there are amazing, and taste great! The cakes are moist, and never dry...the icing is also thick and creamy. They have a wide variety of flavors so you will have plenty too pick from to make your perfect wedding cake/cupcake trays for your special day. They also schedule a consultation so the bride/groom can meet with the baker and try the cake flavors, cupcakes, and icings, to select the one they want. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful and tasted great :)!

I tried some other vendors before selecting The Icing to provide a topper cake and cupcakes for my wedding. The cake and cupcakes were delicious and reasonably priced for such quality items. My family and guests loved the variety of cupcakes offered at my wedding and were happy to take the leftovers home. I was even told by some that they ate 2 or 3 by themselves because they were so good. I highly recommend them for all your cake and cupcake needs!

I can't say enough of how much i loved my cake from the Icing! I have to say its the best wedding cake i've ever had. I got so many good complements about my cake. Everyone keep on talking about how tasty and moist it was. The best part of it all is to know how patient the owner and staff was throughout my planning process. I was very fussy in what i wanted, and kept changing how i wanted it to look, but they were very professional, and very patient with me. Another big plus is they don't believe in freezing your cake, so they bake you a fresh one for your first anniversary. Really looking forward to that.

Hands down this was the best DREAM cake for my daughter’s wedding… I would recommend The Icing to everyone! Our cake was a three tier cupcake cake with a three tier wedding cake on top. Everyone at the reception only had great comments on it. My first taste of The Icing's cake was at the Bridal Expo in Fredericksburg. It was so outstanding (moist and delicious) even with all the dozens of cake vendors there, that I knew immediately I wanted The Icing to make my wedding cake. Lucky me, I was able to get a Couture cake. The anticipation of what it would look like kept me on pins and needles. It was exceptionally beautiful and exceeded anything I could have imagined. Not only that, but it tasted even better than it looked. The cake was moist, and the fillings flavorful. Even the fondant was delicious. I have since ordered their cupcakes for a party we had. They too were yummy!

I came to The Icing based off a recommendation from my caterer (A Taste of Elegance), not only are their cakes beautiful they're also delicious (which is the most important part). Their cake designer is very receptive to ideas and makes every cake unique to the couple ordering it. Their prices were reasonable for cakes of their quality and they'll work with you to stay within your budget.

They give the bride and groom one cupcake of each cake flavor to take on their honeymoon, and a coupon for a free new top tier for their first anniversary so there's no year-old stale cake taking up room in your freezer, which is always appreciated.

I got married last year, and I had my wedding cake done by The Icing. I highly recommend them! We were able to go to an open house and try all of their flavors. Everything was tasty, but we ended up deciding to have butter pecan and strawberry. They were both excellent and our cake was beautiful. The cake had 80 servings and we had 50 guests, but we had almost nothing left after the reception! Definitely a great vendor. We've even gone back a few times just for cupcakes!

My husband and I first discovered The Icing at a wedding open house at Fauquier Springs Country Club. The cake was so delicious that we figured it would be out of our price range! We arranged a cake testing with them and were blown away by the options and the fact that they were willing to incorporate every detail that we wanted into the cake. The price was extremely reasonable and the cake itself was not only gorgeous but it was absolutely delicious! We have been to many other weddings this year and people keep talking about how wonderful our cake was in comparison! Even though we got married on a holiday (New Year's Eve), we never had to worry once about the cake and we were thrilled with the customer service. I would highly recommend The Icing to any bride!

I couldn't have been happier with The Icing. We were looking for about 100 servings and the first baker we met with wanted over $1100! So the search continued. The Icing was the third place we sampled and we knew they were the one after the first bite. We got to pick two flavors (that was NOT included with the $1100 baker!) and that was really hard because we liked most of their cakes, frostings, etc.

At the wedding, many of our guests took photos of the cake because it was so beautifully decorated. Also, I don't think any cake was left behind. It was all either eaten at the wedding or taken home by guests for leftovers.

I also love that you get a voucher for a free anniversary cake. We moved cross-country just before our wedding and they said that if we pay for the shipping, they'll ship our anniversary cake to us. Awesome!

I really enjoyed working with the Ladies at "The Icing Cakes" (I know there is a man or two helping them) but The Ladies really rocked it with the grooms surprise cake and the WEDDING Cupcakes!! They did not cancel my one and only in-person appointment, even when they lost power and most of the mid atlantic area was without power! They were creative when I needed help figuring out how to surprise and impress my future husband. They have a great selection of ideas ! We did an assortment of cupcakes that were delicious, and I must give a shout-out to one of the owners SON, he is behind the BIG OINK (bacon cupcake). My husband and I loved it and still love it !! It is a little sweet and savory all in one !! The team worked well with our venue concerning set up and pick-up etc. Cheers to Icing Cake team and any NEW Bride that gets to work with them!! ps- all our guest loved the cupcakes and the flavors !

My wedding was on 10-11-12, and I had been told by other friends that this place had really great looking cakes. I was able to sample their cake against other vendors at a bridal show at Potomac point winery. I do not usually like sweet treats, but I loved their cakes. We choose them for our wedding cake and our guests have reached out to me several times and have chosen them for their own parties/events. The process was very easy for the wedding and the person that helped us along the way did a sketch of our cake that I was able to have as a keep sake. Since my wedding, we recently had a gender reveal party and used them for that cake. Once again, such perfect design and fantastic, fluffy cake. Really the best option, and they are only 30 minutes from me.

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from The Icing, and we would highly recommend them. We thoroughly enjoyed the cake tasting and consultation. Who wouldn't with all the yummy cake, fillings, and icing? They were very helpful in directing us toward the right size cake for the number of guests and in determining the overall design of the cake. They didn't even cringe when I called a month later and wanted to make a few changes.

I also ordered my husband a surprise groom's cake. I sent The Icing an email explaining that I wanted it to have a Las Vegas theme and I told them a few things he enjoyed doing in Vegas. The groom's cake looked fantastic, my husband loved it, and it was one of the most talked about items at the wedding!

Oh yeah....the cakes didn't just look good, they tasted amazing! My guests were literally taking multiple slices of cake home with them as they left for the night.

We used The Icing as part of our package with Osprey's Landing. The tasting was a nice experience. I described my ideal cake design and the cake decorators nailed it. It was nice that they delivered the cake and set it up on the cake table on the day of the wedding so that I didn't have to worry about doing that. We were surprised that there were bride & groom cupcakes at our sweetheart table - we didn't know they were going to do that. It was so hectic at the wedding that we actually didn't get a piece of cake but the good thing about that is that we have a coupon for a free anniversary cake to eat one year from our wedding date...and it'll be made fresh rather than frozen for a whole year. I would definitely recommend The Icing for any future brides!

Our guests were floored not only at how beautiful our wedding cake was, but also at how great it tasted! We had lots of people going back for seconds, so that they could try both amazing flavors. I also surprised my husband with a groom's cake at our rehearsal dinner, and they surpassed my highest expectations with the intricacy of the cake. The value of their cakes is incredible - I was expecting to pay quite a bit more after having done some research online about prices in the area, especially given the unique design we wanted. I don't even know where to begin with the cake! Can you say AMAZING!!!! Wow from the difficult design I gave them that they had never done before to the taste of the cake all I can say is wow! They did such an amazing job! The quality and detail of the cake was exact to what I requested and I have to say hands down i have never tasted a cake that tasted better than the one they did for us on our wedding day! I had an Icing cake as the result of my contract with Osprey's Landing. Booking the tasting was very easy and fun. We surprisingly picked a strawberry shortcake and I was SO pleased with the results once our wedding rolled around. The cake was three tiered with sugar fall flowers and leaves cascading down the front. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! I had people tell me it was the best wedding cake they ever had. The Icing also provided my husband and I with our own personal cupcakes that we enjoyed the next day. And best of all, The Icing provides you with a cake on your one year anniversary so you don't have to save your top tier for a year. We had a wonderful experience with The Icing and will be using them again.

We chose the pink champagne cake, and couldn't have been happier! Our cake was exquisitely made and delicious! The staff brought all of my ideas and ramblings together and made the cake of my dreams! The wedding cake was amazing! Numerous people were talking about it the next day as they munched away on the leftovers! The vendor was great to meet and sit down to discuss the cake ideas and flavors as she sketched out the ideas for the cake. The taste testing made me want to have every flavor as an option! If fact after the tasting we went back and bought a variety of cupcakes to simply enjoy! The cake was very creative as the top of the cake had two people made of icing. Of course it was us, the bride and groom, in our common style of athletic clothes. We loved it! Such great detail! Also, even though the vendor was located in Stafford, VA they were able to deliver the cake to the National Harbor! I definitely would recommend this vendor to every bride and groom.

I could not believe the detail and quality of the cake decorations for our wedding cake. The Icing went beyond both my wife's and my expectations and our cake was just ourstanding. We had a medieval/enchanted theme and the cake was designed like a castle with a dragon crawling up the side and a fairy on the top of the castle. When I first saw the cake I was stunned by how well it was put together and the detail that The Icing used. Both the fairy and dragon popped out from the cake and the detail on each was amazing. They did such a great job that they receive top marks from me. Oh I alomst forgot to mention the the cake was so delicious also and everyone enjoyed it.

The Icing Baking Company were the best hands down. They created my cake with an original design. It matched my wedding dress and it was absolutely gorgeous. The cake was delicious not too sweet just the right flavor and texture. Absolutely amazing. People are still talking about the cake. They also did my grooms cake and he loved it, they did a military cake for him with the United States Army symbol and then had cupcakes with Dallas Cowboys stars and LA Lakers logos he was so happy and it tasted great!!!! Would recommend them to anyone I know, they were recommended to me and I am so glad that they were!!!

The Icing did a WONDERFUL job on my cake. It looked exactly how I wanted it to, and it tasted AMAZING! We went with two flavors, caramel and peanut butter cup. It was moist and delicious. I had family members telling me that it was the BEST wedding cake that they had ever had. VERY pleased!

They are just absolutely amazing! Due to personal reasons, my husband and I had to put together a wedding in 2 WEEKS, and The Icing was still able to make us a reasonably priced, beautiful, and delightfully tasteful cake in time. I definitely plan to use them for future events (birthdays, promotions, etc.)

I wanted to make sure that our wedding cake had both the look and the taste we wanted. My husband and I absolutely loved their cakes, the wedding and grooms cake, which were equally beautiful and tasted amazing. We will be getting any cake in the future from here. You definitely get what you pay for.

The Icing prepared my wedding cake for my 9/24/2011 wedding! It was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen! We met with them and designed it and they were so accommodating! Not only was the cake beautiful, it was delicious! I love the idea of the smaller cakes to give to guests around the bottom, and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about it! Thank you so much! I recommend The Icing for any and all occasions!

The Icing provided us a wonderful cake. It looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. The one on one interaction with everyone in the bakery was pleasant. We would recommend them to anyone who needs a cake. They have great cupcakes too.

The Icing came into my life when things were turned upside down, AND I'm so glad they did!
I was blown away when I went in for the tasting, especially after some other tastings I had experienced.
They took the picture I gave them and did an amazing job replicating it. They took time to sit down and sketch out and design our cake. My cake was pretty “simple”, but I know that no matter what I had asked for they could have made it exactly how I had dreamed.
Although the design and look of the cake is important it’s not the most important thing though...the most important thing is that their cakes are the BEST cake I've ever had. I had many wedding cakes covered in fondant and every time I’ve ended up peeling it off and throwing it away…but not my wedding cake! They use very high quality fondant and it was delicious!!
I didn’t know about them before the wedding planning process, but now that I know where the bakery is, I'm in there for every special occasion cake I need.

My husband and I recently used The Icing for our wedding reception which included a decorated cake as well as cupcakes for the guests. Not only was everything delicious but as a Bride that put the entire wedding together herself, I never had to worry about anything. They set everything up for the reception and were extremely cooperative. We thoroughly enjoyed the taste testing sampling that they provided. Not only did they have several cake and icing flavors but also various fillings that they can incorporate into the cakes. My only regret or wish was that I could have more flavors as everything I have tried there has been delicious. They also allowed us to come up with flavors that they would do for us for our special day that they normally don't do on a day to day basis as their cupcake flavors are seasonal. We recommend them for everything from weddings, to baby showers, or even just cupcakes for a work function. Lynn and her staff were accommodating and easy to work with. I cannot thank them enough for their courtesy and professionalism.

Everything about our cake was perfect! It was delicious and looked beautiful. There were so many flavors to choose but the Pink Champagne was awesome!

We used them for our wedding on May 1st at the Rock Hill Plantation and they were amazing! So easy to work with and they make the best cakes! We had a cupcake cake and it was great because we were able to use different flavors! (try the bacon cupcake). Not only was the set up beautiful but all the flavors were great. Our top cake for us to cut was a chocolate mint and let me tell you it was amazing! If you walk into their store you will be forced to try something because everything looks so great!

Lynnette Drake, owner of The Icing simply makes the best cakes, cupcakes I have ever tasted !!! She not only made my daughter's wedding cake, but made cupcakes for her shower as well. At both events our guests raved about her cakes, many requests for seconds !!! She uses all organic ingredients, only the very finest chocolate etc.; she creates her own unique flavors, and her Red Velvet and Pink Champagne wedding cake {ours} is to die for. Guests asked for her address and phone number !! You owe it to yourself to make a quick trip to Stafford, Va. to experience Lynnette's creations !! Thanks ! Chris {mom of the bride}

The Icing is wonderful. The whole staff is friendly and very good at what they do. We decided to go with a square cake and we didn't do a wedding topper. Instead we had them put sugar flowers going around the cake. It turned out perfectly. And the pearls matched my dress :) The flavors were amazing and everyone loved them. We went with mint chocolate chip and pink champagne. We definitely liked the fact that they allow you 2 flavors of your choice, one for the bride and one for the groom. They are well worth the money. Thank you guys so much for making our day special.

Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, but most importantly, it tasted wonderful. I have been to a couple of weddings where the cake looked great, but it tasted horribly. Not Ours!!! The icing did a fabulous job at creating a red black and white cake for our special day. Everyone raved over this cake because it wasnt the traditional, boring, wedding cake that you normally would see. We chose the flavors, strawberry cream/pink champagne and we couldnt have been more excited about our choices. The icing will be my one stop shop for cakes and "sweets" from here on out!

I went to The Icing with a picture of what I wanted for my wedding cake and they were able to turn that picture in to a reality for me. The cake was beautiful and more so it tasted absolutely delicious! I received a lot of compliments from my guest about the moistness and flavor of the cake as well as the fondant. The Icing also included a small honeymoon and anniversary cake so we didn't have to remember to get the reception staff to save the top portion of the cake for us. They also provided us with a taste testing before hand so we had a good idea of what the final product would taste like. They had more than enough flavors to choose from which made our decision very difficult. We also provided The Icing with a cookie cutter that they used to make our cookie favors. This was one of my favorite details of the wedding because it was so personal and they did such a wonderful job making the cookies for us. Oh, and they tasted wonderful! We HIGHLY recommend The Icing and hope that some day we will be able to use them again for one of our events!

All I can say is Wow! They matched my colors perfectly, it was just like my sketch (which they provided since it was designed for me). It was so easy to pick a cake when they halped walk me through the overwhelming process of designing my wedding cake.
It tasted great, looked amazing and was everything I wanted.

We order a “couture” cake from The Icing-so we gave them guidelines and let them have creative freedom. It was the only surprise at my wedding and I was so excited. They not only met, but exceeded my expectations!
The entire art staff at The Icing is amazing. They hand painted the entire cake and It was superb!
I was really surprised at the pricing. The Icing initially seemed more expensive, but when I visited with other bakers and they added on for every detail, filling and change The Icing was actually completely reasonable. They were up front about everything- there were no hidden charges no matter what flavor we chose- and they were all delicious!

My wedding cake could not have been more perfect! Lynnette & her design team helped us design a cake that was for our wedding- not cookie cutter from a book. It was everything we hoped for and more. The flavor selections were amazing- we had such a hard time choosing 2! Our guests were amazed at how moist and delicious the cake was- the best wedding cake anyone had ever had. I can’t imagine why anyone would be unhappy- Lynnette always got back in touch with us within a day & made suggestions when we needed it.
Her staff even bright along cupcakes for the kids at our wedding with only one day notice!
