We recently hosted our wedding at the Hotel Zamora and it was nothing short of amazing. Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton came by just a month before our wedding and the staff was very quick with communication on the status of the hotel and venue. The new rooms and lobby is BEAUTIFUL!! & made for amazing pictures. The new bridal get ready room (Valencia room) was refreshed and made for a great getting ready space with lots of room for makeup artists and other vendors to leave their stuff during the wedding. Even with a crazy amount of wind and a very cold night, the Hotel stepped up and made sure their new heaters were built in time for the wedding. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who asks.

We used The Hotel Zamora for our November 2023 wedding and had an unforgettable experience. It was truly the best night of our lives and so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to!

The hotel is beautiful, and the 360 Rooftop views speak for themselves, but what really made our experience so wonderful was the staff. We mostly worked with the event manager Carly Davis who is a GEM!! She has the best energy, was so easy to work with, was great about answering my millions of questions, and really made us feel that she had everything under control.

At one point during the dinner service there was an issue with the service elevator, and Carly rallied the kitchen staff to hand carry all the food up the stairs from the kitchen to the rooftop. Neither myself, my husband, or any of our guests knew there was an issue because the staff handled it so quickly and expertly. It was that level of service that really blew us away! Our guests also raved about the food. My uncle, who’s traveled the world, said it was the best steak he’s ever had.

Overall, we would absolutely recommend The Hotel Zamora and can’t wait to come back to visit for our anniversary! Thank you to all who helped make our wedding a dream come true.

Our wedding took place on Dec. 2 and was the most perfect day! I will recommend The Hotel Zamora to anyone getting married! From the very first meeting, Jacqueline was extremely nice and was very responsive through the entire planning process! Carly was amazing as well! Jacqueline and Carly were both quick to address any concerns that we had and come up with remedies. We felt like we were their only clients with how attentive they were, even though I’m sure they had a ton of other clients. The wedding venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and between the venue coordinators and our wedding planner, everything on the actual wedding day went seamlessly. Our guests STILL talk about how amazing the food and the venue was. The beach is right across the street for amazing sunset wedding photos and there are so many awesome spots for pictures on the hotel property! Our day was perfect and we loved every minute. Definitely have your wedding here! Also it’s dog friendly!

The Hotel Zamora was the most perfect venue for our wedding! With the views, the location & the team they have, absolutely nothing compares. The food was fantastic- their catering team & chef are top notch. Carly is an absolute gem! She was so helpful leading up to the wedding & was so supportive on the day. They are the best to work with & have all the accommodations you could need.

Our wedding at The Hotel Zamora was a DREAM! The new ownership is fantastic and the entire weekend was everything and more. Carly, our event manager, had the best attitude and was very responsive during our planning process. Splitting the roof for cocktail hour and reception allowed our guests to mingle and take plenty of amazing photos. We also are still receiving compliments on the food! I would not change one thing about our wedding weekend and would recommend The Hotel Zamora to everyone!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Hotel Zamora. The team was responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with throughout the planning process. The venue was beautiful and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. We plan on coming back to celebrate all of our anniversaries. We had a beautiful wedding weekend at Hotel zamora. Our guests had an amazing time. We had our rehearsal dinner on the rooftop, and it was stunning! We had our brunch on the Veranda, which was nicely shaded. Huge shutout to Nicolette and Diego from the event staff.

The team was an absolute pleasure to work with from the planning process through the wedding date. They worked with our group and were very accommodating. They truly made the entire experience as easy as could be. We planned and hosted our small 25-person wedding (COVID) about a month after getting engaged, and went with their Elopement Package. I'd highly recommend this venue!

Madison, Erin, Lindsay and the entire team were absolutely sensational in making our special event a smashing success! We were especially impressed with the quality of staff and the level of service. Most importantly, I can't say enough about how delicious the food was and our accommodations for the weekend. Thanks so much for an event that will last in our memories forever!

After cancelling my large planned wedding and trying to plan an intimate wedding out of state in one months time, our ceremony coordinator referred us to Hotel Zamora. Hotel Zamora was super helpful and responsive and made sure everything was good to go despite the fact that we had never met face to face and threw this together very last minute. The food was AMAZING weeks later and our guests are still raving about it! They also decorated the room beautifully for us. The staff were cautious and provided many safeguards for our guests (Plexiglas, temperature checks, masks, etc.). They made the event feel safe but still so beautiful and relaxed, which is not an easy task. They were so responsive to all of our needs, and the bartender was a fan fave. I cannot say enough great things about our reception and all of the staff at Hotel Zamora that helped create a perfect evening for us.

A beautiful hotel and perfect wedding weekend in every way! We booked Hotel Zamora for our rehearsal dinner (down by the pool area) and the wedding (on the rooftop), and everything came out absolutely perfect! We had 110 guests, and about half stayed at the hotel too. Everyone loved their rooms and the amenities offered. The guests were blown away by the food both nights, loved the hotel itself, enjoyed the amazing weather and views, and had a great weekend stay! Madison and her team is fantastic and very detail oriented – they did not miss a beat. Madison was always quick to respond to my many questions and she made sure our weekend was an absolute dream! Cannot wait to return to Zamora for a weekend getaway!

Our wedding came out as a dream come true with wonderful decor, food, heating lamps, and drinks! Madison, the hotel owner, and Bob were all a great help while making sure I could use the band we hired from Atlanta could play on the roof. I was very pleased with the outcome and would recommend them highly.

My wedding was a few months ago and I still cannot get over how amazing it was! The Hotel Zamora staff made our day feel so beautiful and special, I honestly cannot thank them enough! Not only did we have our wedding there, but I also had my bridal shower there. Throughout our entire experience, the staff were sweet, enthusiastic, and accommodating. On our wedding day, the bridal party and I were greeted with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. When the woman that delivered the strawberries came in, she noticed that our make-up artist was there. Without anyone asking, she suggested that she get a higher chair for her to use, so she wouldn't have to crouch over. Within minutes, she returned with a chair of perfect height. Every where my husband and I went, staff members congratulated us, and made us feel so welcome. Even the cleaning crew went out of their way say hello and to make us feel welcomed and special. It was sweet, thoughtful gestures like this that made our experience even more amazing, and there were several instances that I can recount throughout our stay. The venue was perfect. It made our in-budget wedding look and feel way out of our budget. The food was the best food I have ever had. Months later, family and friends still talk about it! The catering staff even packaged up our food and put it in our room, and signed the boxes with congratulations. The Hotel Zamora went above and beyond in all aspects. We love this place so much, we even cancelled our post-wedding stay elsewhere and stayed at the hotel the remainder of our time in Florida! I genuinely could go on forever about all the great things I have to say about this place. Thank you, The Hotel Zamora!!

We had a beautiful wedding on the Gulf rooftop. The staff, service, food and drinks were excellent. Our guests had a wonderful time. Thank you Joy, Jessica and Samantha!

I would highly recommend the Kimpton Zamora for any event. We recently had our rehearsal dinner on their roof and rented a block of rooms for our wedding party. The roof top dinner was incredible with breathtaking views of both the bay and beach. The food was delicious, the setup looked great, and the event was beautiful. Additionally, all of our wedding guests really enjoyed the rooms which come with beach chairs, pool chairs, bike and cayak rentals. I could not have been happier with our decision to do the rehearsal dinner and room block through them.
But what sets this boutique hotel apart is their staff. Amanda, Carla, and Lindsay were first class in booking the room and venue. The bartenders and kitchen staff - Juan, Mikey, Tori, Yuri were incredibly friendly and did their best to make sure our stay was memorable. And what sets them apart was that this was not just mine and my bride's opinion, but all of our guests opinions. They really went the extra mile to make it the best weekend. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any wedding or rehearsal dinner.

My husband and I did the elopement package with Hotel Zamora. I was initially impressed with quick communication from the hotel event team and the ease of planning. Their team was able to quickly put together exactly what we wanted within a month! The rooftop is gorgeous for a ceremony, our room was nicely appointed with a waterfront view, huge bathroom and nice decor. Dinner in the Castile Restaurant was great and breakfast in bed was absolutely perfect. The photographer and officiant they recommended also exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough about the staff at the hotel. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and made our experience memorable. Even the housekeeping staff helped by quickly finding a pair of scissors to cut a string on my dress! We hope to return to Hotel Zamora for a future stay and highly recommend the hotel for your wedding!

This location was beyond my wildest dreams. We fell in love for the view and the atmosphere, the food and the staff were what made this the most amazing day of our lives. The food was something that I will always remember and my guests commented on the next day and are still talking about it! The sunset was breath taking, my photos were dreamy. The iron gates downstairs created the most amazing backdrop. The thing that impressed me the most, above and beyond the view and food was the STAFF. They were so caring and kind about everything. They went ABOVE and BEYOND in every single aspect of my wedding to ensure that my groom and I were happy. They did an amazing job and I will remember each and every one of them for their jobs.

My son’s Rehearsal Dinner was rooftop at Zamora and many guests and wedding party members stayed there. The event was perfect. Everyone at Zamora was so helpful, professional and very friendly. We couldn’t have had a better experience! Thanks to everyone at Zamora!

From start to finish the wedding planning process was seamless and enjoyable. Amanda was amazing with providing quick responses and soothing my worries about the weather. Carla was accommodating to our room changes and all of the front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant during our three night stay. We love Mikey the bartender and my guests enjoyed her warm hospitality. I could not have imagined my wedding turning out anymore perfect than it did and I just want to go back and do it again! The Zamora is a lovely venue with a beach vibe but the elegance of a luxury resort. One factor that drew me to this property was its size. No need to go to the grandeur resorts where you will get lost in the multiple weddings a weekend and run into other brides during your special day. I cant wait to come back and stay!

The reception was laid out perfectly, the food was fantastic, and the hotel is so beautiful. We have started going back every year for our anniversary.

I couldn't be any happier that I chose the Hotel Zamora as our wedding venue. We went up and down St. Pete Beach trying to find the perfect venue and Zamora had it all (the views, the intimate environment, great service etc.)! From the VERY beginning, the ladies at this venue have gone above and beyond for us! I worked closely with Carla & Amanda and they made our day PERFECT. Hotel Zamora provided all the support needed to make our wedding day go smoothly but what I loved the most was how much they cared and made sure that every small detail was addressed. The entire process from booking the venue to the final edits, they made it so seamless so I can focus on enjoying our day. We got married on a sunny day in February and the weather was absolutely perfect. We received SO many compliments from all the guests because of how pleasant their experience was with the staff and rooms, not to mention the wedding itself. I cannot recommend this venue any higher - they were worth every single penny :)

November 2016 we were able to have a beautiful ceremony on the sundeck & sunset rooftop reception. The staff was very professional and accommodating making our wedding day exactly what we envisioned. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel from Thursday to Sunday, making our wedding weekend a little vacation. We had different activities planned each day and night and the best part was we were able to spend time with all of our guest one on one which made the whole experience that much more memorable. We had 21 room reserved under our wedding reservation and because the hotel is very quaint it felt as though we had the whole hotel to ourselves from the bar, to the restaurant and even the pool. The staff was amazing, (especially Joe) always making sure we were well taken care of. The only thing I would change was the lighting on the rooftop. Once the sun went down it was so dark and we didn't have enough lighting, but thankfully our DJ had extra up lighting we were able to shine toward the guest tables. I wish we were warned prior about the bad lighting and I would have rented extra lighting. Ashley was the wedding coordinator that helped us plan our beautiful wedding and she did a fantastic job, she was very quick to return emails/phone calls and was always on top of everything. I want to thank Hotel Zamora and all their wonderful staff for putting together the most beautiful, elegant, and unique wedding I've ever been to ;)

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful The Kimpton Hotel Zamora has been, or how beautiful our wedding ceremony on the bayside roof and reception in the private dinning room were. They were extremely accommodating to us and our guests. Zamora's staff was one of the friendliest hotel staff we've encountered and Mary was delightful to work with and a great help in planning our wedding in such a short time frame. Our guests can't stop talking about how beautiful, delicious and perfect everything was. The whole day was truly magical and could not have been better.

When I first came across The Hotel Zamora I knew this was where I wanted to have my wedding (I mean look how beautiful it is) I reached out to the wedding director and explained what I had in mind for my wedding. At the time, I was living out of state so all of our communication was done mostly by email. Mary has been more then helpful on answering ALL of my questions (I had A LOT of questions) We worked hand in hand for over an year planning and figuring out exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, Nikki was right by my side she made sure every detail was right! She made everything so easy for me by making sure I didn't worry about any details. The overall experience with The Hotel Zamora has been extremely exceptional. I would highly recommend any bride to The Hotel Zamora! You will not regret it

We had an amazing reception at Hotel Zamora! Mary and her team made everything so memorable for my wife and I. The environment, the food,everything was amazing! I definitely recommend Mary to anyone for their ceremony and/or reception.

We highly recommend The Hotel Zamora and could not have been happier. We first thought our ideal wedding location would be on the beach where we first met over 20 years ago. Needless to say there have been many years to think about and visualize exactly what we wanted. When we could not find the right beach venue for our very special day, our planner recommended The Hotel Zamora rooftop as an alternative. The hotel was brand new and the rooftop was still under construction. Mary Barnett ensured us that what we wanted would come to fruition. We took a huge risk and booked the entire rooftop for our celebration. A little over a year later, the week had arrived and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience. As most of our family and friends are from out of town, we had almost half of the hotel rooms booked for that week. We were overjoyed when so many of our guests expressed how unexpected it was to be treated so wonderfully by the entire hotel staff, from the valet, restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping, all the way through to the new General Manager John Markunas. We want to bring very special attention to Kasara Morison, Mary Barnett, and Chef Louis for giving special attention to every little detail of our very large and involved wedding celebration. When our wedding planner failed to fulfill her responsibilities, Kasara and Mary stepped in so we wouldn’t have to worry about any detail. We look forward to returning often to relive that very special week.

We came to the Zamora to stay and check out the different venues in the area, and were so blown away with the food and the hotel that we didn't look any further. We chose the roof top on the ocean side and it was the perfect spot for our reception. The sunset was spectacular, room for our band,( which we first heard at the Zamora) and a DJ for dancing. Mary did a wonderful job working with us as we live out of town. She made everything so easy for us. The tasting went well, and was just at good the night of the reception, even though it was a different chef, as the one we loved is no longer there. We were very pleased with the preparation of all of the food and displays the night of the event. The staff couldn't have been more professional and attentive. The bar staff did a fantastic job, and were the cutest personalities, everyone loved them. The front desk did an excellent job handing out our bags for our guests as they arrived, and the bellman took special care of all of our needs. Zamora has and will be a very special place to us that we intend to revisit often, and I highly, highly recommend them for your special events!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at The Hotel Zamora! We celebrated our wedding there on October 3, 2015 and worked with the then hotel Event Coordinator, Mary. She was very wonderful to work with and made sure that all of our needs were taking care of. Our ceremony was on the sun deck and the reception was around the pool under the veranda. This made the transition from ceremony to reception very easy. We took a great group photo on the dock before heading into reception time…what a great memory! Our room was really nice and had a balcony overlooking the intercoastal waterway. The room service was excellent and my wife and I took great advantage of it after our wedding. Everyone who attended the wedding and booked a room at the hotel had nothing but great things to say. We look forward to returning every year to celebrate our anniversary at The Hotel Zamora.

We are from New Jersey and we had our rehearsal dinner here at Hotel Zamora. We found this hidden gem randomly and were SO happy that we did. Mary Barnett was very responsive to our every need and they worked with us as far as food, drinks, and our budget. We had about 100 people at the pool area and hired a steel drum player for the night. People even ventured upstairs to check out the band of the rooftop. We dropped off our table centerpieces the night before (all different lanterns with flameless candles) and Mary decorated the area perfectly for the next day. You don't need much to decorate since the pool area is beautiful on it's own. It was upscale but casual and the view on the water was perfect. The food was great, we had 2 pastas, a chicken dish, and salad. Drinks were great too. Everyone loved the hotel and raves about the night!! Zamora, we will be back for sure!

My daughter and her finance hosted their Rehearsal Dinner Cocktail Buffet at The Hotel Zamora on April 17th. Because they live in Boston and I live in Tampa, I was responsible for coordinating the event for them.
From my first meeting with Chef Ted Dorset and then with Mary Barnett, our catering manager and wedding events coordinator, I knew we were in good hands. It wasn't a matter of good selling skills on their part, It was the professional way they did things, the little things like allowing us to choose anything we wanted to try off the menu rather than provide us with a sampling of food choices. It was their demeanor which was pleasant, not rushed and did not make me ever feel that they had other more important things to do. It was Mary's calmness and her ability to put me at ease when we had to make last minute changes; her good advice that made a huge difference and her reassurance that everything would go well and it did. Nothing seemed to be too much for us to ask of Mary. She came through every time and did a wonderful job of making it all appear seamless.

As for the food, Chef Ted and his staff were amazing as was the food. Everytnhing well prepared and beautifully presented.

The Hotel Zamora has a very special and very intimate vibe. Our event was on the pool deck overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. It is a beautiful tropical setting, privately set apart from the pool area where the buffet stations, cocktail tables and bar were set up. Our guests had the luxury of conversing on comfortable sofas or meandering among the cocktail tables. It was a perfect evening and we were all so pleased and happy.

The Hotel Zamora was the perfect choice for our wedding reception. The hotel is conveniently located within minutes of the beach were our ceremony was held. It is a very modern and elegant hotel, not at all crowded with guests in the public areas which was perfect as it provided us with a private environment for us to take our bridal and family portraits. The decor is stunning and the food so amazing! The prices very reasonable and the service excellent.
We chose the Rooftop for our reception as we were going for a more casual setup where our guests didn't feel confined into a ballroom and everybody loved it. The views from both sides of the rooftop are just breathtaking.
I could have not been happier with our decision to hold our wedding at this super chic hotel. I highly recommend the Hotel Zamora for your dream beach wedding.

I can't thank Mary Barnett the Catering Sales Manager and Chef Ted enough for making our Rehearsal Dinner a spectacular success. Judging by the response of our guests, a wonderful time was had by all.
Mary's calm demeanor and personality combined with her confident professionalism make her the ultimate event planner. She obviously loves her job. And what can I say about Chef Ted other than to tell you that he is nothing short of a magician in the kitchen. We are still raving about every dish he created.

I could not have asked for a better wedding planning experience and wedding than what we had with the Hotel Zamora. Our wedding was 1/10/15 and Kim, Mary and Chef Ted were more than amazing to work with. Mary was one of the nicest, most accommodating and easiest person to work with. She was professional and her communication with me could not have been better. Anything I needed, any questions or any help I asked of them was taken care of immediately. The staff at the Zamora were unbelievable. Our ceremony and reception were on the rooftop and the staff pulled it off perfectly. Everything was on time, set up beautifully and it exceeded my expectations.They were beyond friendly to my guests and helped with anything we needed. Having our wedding at the Hotel Zamora was truly amazing and our guests cannot stop talking about how perfect everything was! Thank you hotel Zamora for a perfect wedding weekend.

The Hotel Zamora is a beautiful place and the perfect spot for our event. Kim was such a pleasure to work with! The food and drink were fabulous. We couldn't of been happier!

This hotel is amazing! Kim was so easy to work with, Chef Ted customized a menu that my guests are still raving about, and we had a great bar selection with craft beers, signature drinks and Good wine, not cheap house wines! This place is not a wedding factory, I was the only bride on my wedding day and everyone was focused on making me and my husband happy. Everyone from the valet guys, bartenders, servers, managers, everyone was top notch. The Hotel Zamora exceeded my expectations and love that fact that all my guests were Wowed as soon as they walked into the hotel. This place will be the new wedding hotspot on St Pete Beach!

I might be bias but my husband and I had the best rehearsal dinner I've ever seen thanks to Hotel Zamora. We had the dinner on the roof top and drank wine and ate an amazing meal while watching a stunning sunset. It really was perfect. We weren't sure we could afford the venue but they were able to work with us and provided a great meal and service. There aren't many nice places in St. Pete beach for a rehearsal dinner and I can assure you this is the best place. You won't find a better meal, view, ambiance, etc. It truly is 5 out of 5 stars. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions on the venue. We LOVE this place and want to do anything we can to help support them. My husband stayed in a suite here the night before the wedding with a few friends and it looks like a vegas hotel room. It was awesome and such a great value. The food, pool, views, rooms everything is 5/5 stars at this venue!

I want to begin by saying our experience with the Zamora was so amazing that I feel like I can now call them family. We were Zamora’s first wedding, after having the horrible ordeal of having our wedding venue cancel on us 8 weeks before the wedding. Kim Eustance helped me immediately (even as I cried during our first phone conversation). Kim is just stellar. So easy to work with, kind, fun, generous. We just love her. Everything we wanted was done: Down to the ceremony decorations to the reception on the rooftop. Chef Ted also needs an equal shout out: We fell in love with him during the tasting. He sat with us, asked great questions and really catered our menu to what we wanted…craft beers, delicious wine, fresh grouper to lobster corndogs. The food was delicious: Our guests were so pleased. Chef was with us every step of the way and we just felt so supported by him and Kim. The staff overall at the hotel is also professional and kind from our valet to our bartenders. (We especially love Derek and David—thanks for being so fun and fabulous!!) The servers and managers in the restaurant and hotel are great as well and the rooms in the hotel itself are PRISTINE. We stayed in the corner room which overlooked the water. We had a huge bathtub and bed—a fabulous view. In fact, we stayed another night because we just weren’t ready to leave. We love the Zamora so much! And can’t wait to spend next year with them when we return for our one year anniversary. Thank you so much to every one of you for making the perfect wedding ceremony and reception. We could not have dreamed of a more classy, beautiful and intimate location. We love you all!!!

The Hotel Zamora did an amazing job with our wedding... everything from the planning through the execution was absolutely perfect-- they delivered exactly what they promised and exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, the food was incredible, and the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The only reason I gave 4.5 stars for responsiveness is it sometimes took a few calls to make things happen, but the patience definitely pays off.

We held our rehearsal dinner on the sun deck at Zamora on April 8th. We had originally booked one of the inside event rooms but after seeing the sun deck we made the change asap! It overlooks the water and is so tropical and just gorgeous! Mary was our original contact and she was beyond wonderful at answering any questions and helping to get everything set up. As we got closer to the date we worked with Kasara who was equally as wonderful and helped to make our night perfect! We dropped off our decorations to her the morning before and she set everything up exactly as I had imagined it would be. The buffet was excellent and the bar service was on point, even coming around to make sure my glass was always full. We went up to the roof top after our event ended and had a wonderful time up there seeing all our family and friends that had not attended the rehearsal dinner. Also, those guests who did stay at Zamora for our wedding weekend really enjoyed their stay. When we first began searching for venue's, our main focus was for the venue to have some sort of rooftop that could house either the ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. We couldn't believe it when we toured Hotel Zamora and realized that we could do all 3 on the 360 rooftop, with an absolutely BEAUTIFUL view!! From day 1, we received outstanding customer service from everyone at the hotel. In particular, a huge thank you to Courtney, Amanda and Carla who ensured every detail was perfect and truly went above and beyond during the entire process of planning our wedding and day of. The ceremony was perfect with the sun setting, even when it briefly rained during the reception, afterwards all the seats/dancefloor/etc. was dried immediately by Zamora staff. The day before as well as the day of, we had some guests lounging in the hot tub and others fishing off of the dock. The amenities are outstanding--all of our guests complimented the beauty of the hotel and the wonderful team that Zamora staffs. The only reason I rated a 4 for value was because I would have liked to know that the other half of the rooftop was also rented out for a wedding-not a big deal, but a detail I would have liked to know previously since we planned on taking pictures on that side of the rooftop.

My husband and I plan on going back to Hotel Zamora for special occasions and can't say enough about how pleased we were with them as a venue--a huge THANK YOU!!

The people and the facilities are fantastic. Room services orders had a few issues, but the accommodating and positive staff more than made up for minor errors. The staff truly went above and beyond on several occasions. Our King Suite was beautifully appointed and our view was exceptional. The hotel had no problem allowing my friends to my room as we got ready for my wedding or allowing any of us to the roof that was not actually open. The pool could use more attention- it was pretty dirty when we used it due to a party the night before. But the location in relation to the beach was excellent, and that's where we spent most of our time. We will definitely return and look forward to those kinks being worked out. Again, an exceptional staff easily makes up for most issues. THANK YOU for a great stay on my wedding weekend!!

Our rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour to follow set the tone for our entire wedding weekend in St. Pete. Looking back, I'm so pleased with our decision to have these events at Zamora. The poolside location was a perfect suggestion by Mary Barnett. It was spacious, casual yet classy and made for a cool atmosphere as the sun went down. Small touches, such as the menu cards and photos of us (bride and groom) playing on a loop on the poolside televisions, helped make the celebration extra special. Big thanks to Mary and team for helping coordinate these and several other sweet touches. I can't say enough about the delicious food by Chef Ted. It was a real treat for all of the guests to enjoy a dinner made by him. I would certainly suggest Zamora to anyone looking for a unique location for a rehearsal dinner.

This hotel is one of the best keep secrets in St Pete. It is large enough to feel the resort feeling and yet small enough for the atmosphere of a boutique hotel.
The facility was undergoing renovations, but the service was superb. Will definitely going back in the future.

Intimate, welcoming environment!

We adored the sundeck for our wedding reception dinner. It was a small event, 24 people, and it was just what we were looking for; the perfect spot. Our only issue was the cost, it was considerably more than we wanted to pay. However, Hotel Zamora worked with us and they were able to lower the original minimum quoted to help accommodate us. Although it was still more than we had budgeted, we appreciated the compromise.

We loved our wedding at Hotel Zamora! The venue where we had our ceremony/reception (rooftop) is truly spectacular and every detail was set up exactly how we had specified and wanted. Their event coordinator (Carly) was amazing, very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. The food was incredible and we received MANY compliments that it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had and the most beautiful venue.

Any issues we had resided outside of the wedding itself and mostly with the rest of the hotel staff. Many guests (including us as the bride and groom) had negative experiences with hotel staff at the front desk being rude and unhelpful with simple requests. Staff refused to bring bar stools up to the bridal suite for hair/makeup so my bridesmaids had to haul them up 4 floors themselves. We also had trouble coordinating and communicating with staff around our room block for guests and had a lot of confusion with our guests while booking. Rates/days promised by management vs trying to get guests services/front desk staff to actually honor it and allow guests to book the agreed upon rate was very difficult. The front desk workers didn’t seem to keen on “customer service” I’m general, but outside of that we had the perfect day.

Our wedding at hotel zamora was beautiful and we loved being able to have everything in one space - from the welcome party, getting ready rooms, the ceremony, reception, and the after party. I will say we were planning all of this from a distance and the communication piece was difficult at times as there was a lot of turnover in the year of planning. I am very thankful for my planner for being the go-between and making everything run smoothly. I was gracious to Hotel Zamora for accomodating all of my requests and last minute changes and they were able to do so many customizations. I also appreciated them providing so many heaters for the ceremony/reception as it was an unseasonably cold day on the roof!

Todd, who is the director of catering, is AMAZING!! He ensured that every person in our bridal party had all the food and drinks they could want! Ensured that we had everything we needed thoughout the weekend, and my family is still talking about how great he was! He also helped my husband set up a surprise guitar solo at the end of the night! You need him at your events!!

We rented both sides of the rooftop and the view is stunning!! If you want to have a beach wedding and not worry about people getting hurt or sandy walking on the beach - the rooftop is an excellent option.

We were able to rent linens, plates, napkins, silverware... all from the hotel.
The food was AMAZING - Who doesn't want tacos and burgers at their wedding?!
And the overhead lighting is beautiful at night!

There were quite a few changes within the staff at Hotel Zamora, that lead to a less than a 5-star review.

Unfortunately, the event planner we had worked with to plan our wedding we let go the week of our wedding. Thankfully the GM helped to ensure the wedding went as planned and we had our third party wedding planner who was able to step up. We were told that we would have both sides the entire night, and that was not the case. I am not sure if this was a miscommunication on the past planner's part, but I would have paid more to not have to tell people that it was a closed event. We were also charged multiple times for the same charge and misinformed on other payment amounts again, I am not sure where the miscommunication happened, so potentially this has been solved.

Booking of the rooms was not wonderful. The though rooms are beautiful. When booking the rooms each guest had to contact Joy Huff by email only to book their rooms and in most cases, it took her quite a few days to contact the guests back. Many guests were contacting me, telling me how long it had been and seeing if she still worked there... Not exactly ideal.

With all that said, the event was beautiful and I can't wait to see the pictures!

We wanted to hold our wedding on St. Pete Beach and ultimately selected HZ due to it's location and their interest in our event. The hotel is a smaller venue and was perfect for our small wedding party. They were very helpful and worked diligently to execute our event specifications as planned. All our guests were happy with the hotel accommodations and the facility. The food was exceptional!! If your choice of locations includes SPB - consider HZ before you make your final choice.

Well, this hotel is absolutely amazing and beautiful, but they messed up out reservations and completely cancelled our reservations the night of our wedding and that was the hotel we were supposed to stay in. Although there may have been other complications, this hotel was still too notch. Valet is only $18 a night, the restaurant is absolutely amazing and the breakfast is to die for! The rooms are beautiful with huge Windows and tvs and an awesome shower with a shower head that rains water on your from the ceiling. The rooftop has an awesome bar and there's a pool downstairs, but fair warning... There are creepy old men with hookers there a lot!

Let’s just say my experience was beyond difficult! I booked this venue when it was Kimpton owned. They were bought out, and the decline started. The new, current owner, “Dev”, was responsive to my messages & told me he was “cleaning house” of poor employees. He also provided a deeply discounted rate for us to come back for a stay. This is a beautiful rooftop location! I hope that with Dev at the helm, nobody else has the problems we did.

Pros: The day of was perfection on the rooftop and everything we had hoped for, the catering team did amazing with the food, the staff on our wedding day was extremely effective and kind. Truth be told, the day of our wedding was the only day that made me walk away from the experience of planning a wedding at the Hotel Zamora with joy.

Leading up to our wedding day was stressful. A lot of email exchanges gone wrong, changes in staffing which led to us consistently needing to remind team members what our contractual agreement stated, and 2 days before the event, a cosmetic change to our venue space without notice. Thankfully, this was all resolved after a few helpful conversations with a front desk team member (Aldo was a gem), 1 extremely unprofessional and hostile conversation with another member of the Zamora team, and a follow-up conversation with that team member and the owner on the following day. It should be noted that the issue was resolved before our event, however, the way it was addressed was extremely unprofessional, not to mention in breach of contract.

Again, the day of our wedding went fabulously despite my hesitation in believing nothing would go wrong.

This review is conflicting because our actual wedding day was absolutely beautiful. Every other day of working with Zamora outside of that was undoubtedly the worst process I could have imagined. I was so excited to book Zamora at first and was quickly tossed between multiple employees to plan wedding details due to turnaround because of Covid. While I understand Covid changed a lot of businesses, this was incredibly frustrating because it would take weeks and multiple emails/phone calls to get questions even partially answered. We worked with the director of catering who couldn’t really be bothered to respond and when she did they were half answers, and the last person we were passed off to was nice but very inexperienced and really didn’t have many answers. We felt like we were very understanding through the process until 5 days out of from the wedding when we felt like we really didn’t know much about what to expect and felt we would be just as surprised at our wedding as all of our guests (which was unsettling with what the day cost us).

We also felt a little bamboozled by pricing because it came out to be a lot more than we anticipated with high service charges and gratuities on literally everything down to the napkin rentals. This was probably in our contract but felt very extreme, it was something like a 22% service fee and 17% gratuity on every single dollar spent.

We picked Zamora because we wanted a hands off simple process and it surely was, but only because no one was really handling any details up until the very end when our separately hired coordinator got involved. I wanted the process to be relaxing which is why we picked a higher price tag venue because we thought it would cause less headache for us (which it absolutely did not). Zamora missed a lot of the details, including our morning rooftop yoga I booked and paid for separately after getting it approved multiple times by various people. The morning of the wedding when we tried to go to the rooftop, the elevators did not work and the doors were locked which left us with a frazzled guy at the front desk unsuccessful in trying to help. We also ran out of beer 15 minutes into our cocktail hour, which we paid for an open bar and immediately felt like it was not worth the price after that. Simple drinks like margaritas weren’t included but could be purchased for something like $150-200 a gallon (crazy).

All in all, our wedding was absolutely beautiful but definitely no thanks to Hotel Zamora staff (other than the head chef/banquet woman who made our food INCREDIBLE and took the time to take care of my husband and I during the reception). Aldo, a front desk employee, was our saving grace in rooms, reservations and helping us find people when we needed answers. I would not recommend this as a venue to anyone but I would definitely encourage people to attend other people’s weddings there because it is beautiful!

Once they've got all of your money - you're an unimportant bankroll. Food was disgusting and unbelievably overcooked. Filet was more like pot roast and scallops were tougher than mussels.
Staff was invisible throughout the night and we were basically left to asking the busboys for help. I'm the Brides Father, and am outraged. We'll see you in court, Tom.
