The Hotel Concord exceeded all of our expectations for my daughter's wedding.
Lynn, with the Hotel Concord, was generous with us from the beginning by being willing to work with us on flexible dates due to military leave uncertainty. Throughout the entire process, she was direct and efficient while still being nice and thoughtful. With her experience, she was able to help us make decisions easily, taking so much stress out of the planning process. The day of the wedding, she took care of everything, even putting together the things we brought in from home. The venue looked spectacular. She managed to wrangler our daughter's very large wedding party and get everyone in their places for the ceremony in the beautiful ballroom then efficiently flip the space for the reception. Her assistant, Wendy, took over for the reception, and she kept everything moving while checking in frequently for decisions. Wendy also made our exit so easy. We had to do so little ourselves before leaving. We can't imagine a better experience. -

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Wedding Experience at Hotel Concord⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We could not have chosen a better wedding venue than Hotel Concord, and Lynn is truly the heart of what makes this place so special.
From the very beginning, Lynn was a wonderful coordinator with outstanding communication and organization. She made the entire planning process feel effortless. Every detail was clearly explained, everything we needed was included and available, and there were absolutely no issues along the way. Her knowledge of vendors, timelines, and logistics gave us complete peace of mind.
What truly sets Lynn apart is how deeply she cares—not just about the event, but about the couple and their families. She checked in with us often before the wedding, made sure we felt supported, and went above and beyond to ensure we were stress-free.
On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly and flawlessly. The entire staff was over-the-top accommodating—helping our elderly guests up and down stairs, meeting every special request, and doing it all with genuine kindness and smiles. It was truly top-level, 5-star service.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The historic building is stunning, well maintained, and the guest houses are just as lovely. Our guests were blown away by the charm and elegance of the space and the top tier staff.
We are beyond grateful to Lynn and the Hotel Concord team for giving us such a perfect wedding day. If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, organized, stress-free, and filled with people who truly care—you will not find better than this.

Eda Wedding 03.14.25
Our wedding at this venue was truly a dream come true! The space is absolutely breathtaking — with its high ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and large windows that flood the room with natural light, it made for the perfect romantic backdrop.
From the beginning, Lynn was an incredible person to work with. We booked the venue a year and a half before our wedding, and throughout the entire process, she was responsive, kind, and so helpful with all of our questions. She genuinely cares about her couples and it shows in every detail.
One of the things we loved most was the wide range of decor options — there were so many to choose from, and we were thrilled to be able to use pink linens. The setup turned out beautifully and received so many compliments. We also loved that Lynn offers open viewings for her weddings, which really helped us visualize things early on. Her former assistant was also so kind and accommodating when helping us with decor decisions.
We chose the Tier One package, and we are so glad we did. It included cake (we chose cheesecake), DJ, decor, day-of coordinators, bar, catering, and even a photobooth and audio guestbook — both were huge hits with our guests! The package also included use of the bridal suite, which made getting ready with my bridesmaids and moms so much easier and enjoyable. We also made use of the apartment suite as a quiet and private space to relax right before the ceremony — it was a perfect setup.
On the day of the wedding, Lynn and her staff went above and beyond. My parents had a 12-passenger van that didn’t fit in the garage, and Lynn worked with a nearby church to arrange parking — just one of many examples of how accommodating and thoughtful she is.
We truly wish we could relive the entire day. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you so much to Lynn and her amazing team for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! -

11/10 Dream Venue just outside Charlotte
Incredible wedding venue that went above and beyond our wildest dreams! Lynn and the team truly delivered a perfect day. Super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The ideal one-stop-shop with timeless decor, superb service, and impeccable partner vendors for food, drinks, music, etc. We had a stress-free experience every step of the way, and our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. A dream wedding!
WOW!!! Where to even begin!! First of all, Lynn and her entire team are so amazing. She is so organized and really wants each couple to have the wedding of their dreams. We lived in Atlanta, and still felt like we were able to communicate really well even with distance. Our wedding was last Saturday and it was the best night of our lives. Aimee and Kelsey did such a phenomenal job and always made sure we had a drink in hand. We feel so lucky to have found such a great venue! Also, the venue is STUNNING!!! The decor they provide fits the vibe so well!! They were always so kind and answered all of our questions. If you want a venue where you feel comfortable and everything is handled for you, choose this venue! The packages are just so amazing and you really get the best vendors!! If I could rate more than five stars I would. Again thank you so much for everything. We will forever remember this night!!-

Perfection!
I had my wedding here on July 8th, and it was magical! My husband and I chose the all-inclusive package and it made planning our wedding day a breeze. Lynn and our friends from Polished made sure that every detail was perfect. The wedding went flawlessly and we are still getting compliments. I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our special day! -

I love the Hotel Concord!!!
I recommend the Hotel Concord to anyone and everyone getting married or having an event! The Hotel Concord itself is simply stunning with the chandeliers, tiled floors, large windows and mantle. On top of that Lynn does an incredible job organizing and coordinating the various vendors and moving parts that are involved with a wedding. We also utilized their sister company Polished Events for décor and they had so many different options for any type of tablescape imaginable and it was just what I wanted. The day of the wedding I did not have to worry or think about one thing other than having a good time with my now husband and my guests! I could not have asked for any better communication, organization, professionalism and fun in this staff! -

Amazing, Classic, just ALL THE THINGS
BOOK THIS VENUE. There, I said it and I mean it. My October 2022 wedding was everything I imagined and so much more. This venue is gorgeous and so reasonably priced. Lynn and her team at Polished truly have thought of everything to make planning your wedding as stress-free as possible. The planning process with them was fun and Lynn is so easy to communicate with if you have any questions or concerns. Going and picking out all of the décor for your reception was my favorite part- their stuff is GORGEOUS and most of it is included in your venue fee. On the day of my actual wedding, Sara and Kelsey ran the event so smoothly. I found out after the fact about a few small hiccups- but you would never know and they never worried or stressed me with any of that. Honestly, I am getting a little teary eyed writing this because my wedding was the best day of my life and I know it is in large part to Lynn, Sara and Kelsey. You ladies are in the right business and I appreciate you more than you know.
So would I recommend The Hotel Concord? 10000% yes. Book this venue. I promise you will not regret it. -

The staff was amazing and met all my expectations!
We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Hotel Concord and it was perfect! They were very organized, communicated promptly and made the planning effortless! We did not hire a wedding planner and instead let their team run the timeline for the evening. They kept the evening running without any problems and I was able to enjoy every minute of the reception. The entire staff was very professional. I can't say enough nice things about my experience. -

Best day ever!
I cannot recommend Lynn and her team highly enough. From start to finish, they have it down flawlessly. The package make it so easy with planning, especially since she also owns the event rental company right by the venue! Lynn responded to every email extremely quickly and was so knowledgeable about the industry. She was also flexible and worked with us to make sure that everything was perfect. At every step of the process, Lynn was organized and had an efficient process. My husband and I truly had the best day of our lives knowing that Lynn would make sure everything ran perfectly. We even had multiple guests tell us that it was the best wedding they’ve been to! Not to mention, the venue is absolutely stunning and has all the perks you could ever want. Lynn even recommended a courtyard a block away for pictures, as outdoor photos were important to us. Again, I would recommend The Hotel Concord to any couple out there! -

The Wedding Venue of our Dreams!!!
Not only was this venue an absolute DREAM, but the owner (Lynn) was so incredibly talented. She had every last detail covered for our wedding in October and reassured me that I had nothing to stress about because she already had things taken care of. She is sharp, doesn’t miss a beat, and the BEST kind of venue owner/day-of coordinator anyone would desire for their wedding. Dream venue!
The Hotel Concord made our wedding day truly perfect. The entire process of planning a wedding at this venue was an absolute dream. I cannot recommend this venue enough!
From the moment we first arrived at The Hotel Concord, we knew it was the place we wanted to be married. The downtown area where the venue is located is so cute. They host Saturday farmers markets, have a few restaurants & a coffee shop, and feels incredibly safe. I felt like I was transported back in time each time we got to visit the downtown Concord area. There is ample parking, so you don't have to worry about guests trying to find street parking or having to Uber. Big plus!
Upon entering The Hotel Concord, you're surrounded mirrored walls leading up to a grand entrance. Once again, you'll feel like you're transported back in time... this time to a ritzy, Gatsby-feeling ballroom. The black & white marbled floors are absolutely beautiful. The foyer & 'cocktail room' are so timelessly beautiful. From the chandeliers to the marbled staircase, you can tell this space was spectacularly curated.
Upon ascending up those marble stairs, you'll enter the grand ballroom through antique-feeling French Doors (*cue jaw drop*). When I saw the massive windows & grand fireplace / mantle, our minds were completely made up that this had to be the place we tied the knot!
Now, on to the actual wedding details-
From day one, Lynn made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze. The service she provided was impeccable and the experience is unforgettable. Whether you have Pinterest board filled with a detailed vision or you're u̶n̶p̶r̶e̶p̶a̶r̶e̶d̶ more of a laid back bride, Lynn will walk you through every step and make your day PERFECT.
My fiancé and I opted to purchase the Fairytale Package. With that package, a lot of the hard part of the wedding planning is taking off of your plate. You get a choice of a few caterers, a few florists, a few DJs, etc... all the sourcing of the vendors is already done for you! All of the vendors that Lynn has on this list are top notch professionals.
There is a Bridal Suite & Grooms Suite that made the getting ready process a blast - just show up, pour some champagne, and enjoy your last few hours with your girls (or guys!) before you're married! Having the Bridal Suite with full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom allowed us to get comfy and spend the morning getting our hair & makeup done without having to worry about transportation or timelines.
I would highly recommend using Polished Event Design & Fine Decor Rental (Lynn's other company) to help add even more beauty to your special day. From the chargers, to the candles, to the centerpieces - Polished has something for everyone's taste!
I would not change a single thing about our wedding experience with The Hotel Concord. A top-notch venue and team that will stop at nothing to make your wedding dreams come true!

My wedding was here! Best place to have any event. Lynn and her team do an amazing job. They made sure our wedding was wonderful and everything was in place. Absolute dream venue!
My husband and I knew from the beginning that we didn't want a farmhouse, hotel, or country club wedding, which meant our options were super limited in the Charlotte area. When we stumbled upon Hotel Concord, we immediately fell in love with the European vibe and knew it was meant for us. To top it all off, Lynn was super flexible and helpful throughout the planning process. We are so grateful she was willing to accommodate our caterer (for our cultural wedding). There are also tons of beautiful photo spots outside the venue. We'd recommend this space a million times! -

The Hotel Concord
Lynn was beyond helpful, as we planned our wedding, not one...but 3 times due to COVID. Lynn was so kind and patient when my wedding plans changed so quick at the start of COVID. Lynn was always so quick to respond to any questions I had, so friendly, and I knew she would get the job done! I had nothing to worry about, she was reliable. I would highly recommend Hotel Concord, as the place is so beautiful. Lynn is super organized and she has everything you need as far as decor with her company Polished Events. Lynn is amazing, friendly, reliable , organized and super sweet! Highly recommend. -

Absolutely Amazing!
I recently got married at The Hotel Concord and I must say, my experience completely blew me away. From the moment, I walked into the stunning venue, I knew it was the place I wanted to say "I do." The ballroom is simply gorgeous and pictures do not do it justice. And then once we met Lynn, I was sold! Planning a wedding in the middle of a global pandemic without a formal wedding planner is not for the faint of heart. But to be quite honest, I think the only reason we made it through with all of hair intact was because of Lynn. She was extremely easy and amazing to work with. From her knowledge of her venue to her decor suggestions with her sister company, Polished. She made sure our day was absolutely flawless. And even when there were a minor hiccups, she and her assistant Wendy made sure the show went on beautifully. I cannot thank Lynn and her team enough for all their help in making this big day in our lives that much more memorable for us and our guests. -

Dream wedding!
Lynn and The Hotel Concord are all a girl could ask for for her dream wedding. I had all but given up when searching Charlotte for the perfect venue at a reasonable price point, but the second I stepped foot inside, I knew this was it! Despite everything that 2020 threw at us, we had our wedding on 10/17/2020 and it was perfect. Lynn goes above and beyond to make her brides' dreams come true and was great to work with throughout the whole process. The Hotel Concord is BEAUTIFUL - I am obsessed with the chandeliers and black and white floors and am just sad that I can't get married here over and over again 🤣. I'm so thankful for her and her venue and can't wait to have our postponed reception next year!!! ❤-

Fairy Tale Wedding
I can't believe it's been six months already since we got married at the Hotel Concord! I fell in love with the venue and Lynn the owner/coordinator the minute I walked in from the retro lobby to the elegant ballroom. Lynn knows her venue inside and out and she was really easy to work with. I chose to go with a tea party theme because it went with the ballroom so well. Again, I can't say enough positive things about being one of Lynn's brides and get married at the Hotel Concord. The big day went absolutely perfectly and we still get compliments to this day from guests about how it was easily "one of the most beautiful weddings we ever attended." My husband and I are are so glad we chose to work with Lynn and get married at the Hotel Concord. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a dream come true fairy tale!-

Lynn is wonderful. The Hotel Concord is beautiful and elegant in every way. Lynn was my right hand the whole time.. she answered every email, every text, every phone call and made sure I was always satisfied! Incredible Venue & Team
My husband and I held our reception at The Hotel Concord in March and are still receiving compliments on the venue and the flow of the evening. Lynn and her team took excellent care of us and made sure every single detail was taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with The Hotel Concord! They know their venue best and spent hours talking through the details and coordinating with our other vendors to ensure the day went smoothly and was better than my dream wedding. Lynn and team quite literally took care of everything. There was not one minute of the day where I had to talk to vendors or answer questions about how I wanted the day to go because of the extra effort that was put in before our wedding. Lynn even had our trolley driver on the phone with her to coordinate where to pick the bridal party up because it rained the whole day and she refused to let me stand in the rain. The effort her team puts in to make each bride's dreams come true are evident the day of the wedding. Thank you for making my day an absolute DREAM! -

Beautiful Venue and Excellent Service
This was the second wedding reception that I have hosted at the Hotel Concord and I could not have done it with out owner/manager Lynn Neal. I don't think Lynn calls herself a "wedding planner" but she alone took my vision and made it real! She makes it all happen and remembers every detail of every conversation. She is very quick to answer emails and texts, usually within minutes. She has an amazing list of preferred vendors that know her and the Hotel Concord and it is easy to see that they respect her and enjoy working with her. If you have never planned a wedding, you cannot appreciate the importance of good communication between the venue manager and your vendors.
On the day before the wedding we stopped by to deliver my hand-crafted favors and the alcohol and beer for the bar. And that was it! My work was done! On the day of the wedding, I never lifted a finger to prepare the venue; I didn't show up until the reception began. Lynn managed all the vendors, logistics and details. She did everything! And in the end, it was stunning!

Beautiful venue, excellent service!!
The venue is absolutely breathtaking! It is pure elegance - exactly what I had dreamed of since I was a little girl! As soon as I walked into the venue for the first time, I had chills and knew this was where I wanted to get married. On top of the venue being perfect, the owner and wedding coordinator, Lynn Neal, is also amazing! She is extremely organized and detail- oriented! I never had to worry about anything throughout the entire wedding planning process! She is hands down THE BEST! If you want a fairytale/storybook wedding - The Hotel Concord is your venue!-

What Dreams Are Made Of!
We started our journey for the perfect venue in April 2017, when we came across The Hotel Concord. We immediately fell in love with the venue and all of its charm. Lynn helped us to find our perfect vision and was very flexible with our ever growing guest count! Each appointment was perfectly planned to help us stay on track with our timeline. On the day of the wedding, Lynn ensured myself and the bridal party were comfortable and prepared for the wedding to start! All of our wishes were honored and all of our needs were met throughout the ceremony! Lynn made sure all of the transitions were effortless and seamless! We remained on the tight schedule I requested and our wedding day was perfect!! We appreciate her working so closely with our photographer, videographer, DJ, and bakers! The wedding was phenomenal and we are still receiving so many complements! -

Perfect!!!
The ballroom at the Hotel Concord is absolutely beautiful and it's perfect if you want an elegant wedding. We had both the ceremony and reception here and it was like a fairy tale!
Lynn will work with you to make sure your day is perfect! She created all of our centerpieces and decor and it was so beautiful and elegant - exactly what I wanted! She also did a magnificent job of answering all of my questions and concerns leading up to the day.
Her staff is very professional and they kept things flowing and made it look easy.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel Concord and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! -

Magical Wedding on 9/15/18
We can't say enough great things about Lynn Neal and The Hotel Concord. We had our ceremony and reception at The Hotel Concord. I was not a Bride that had a vision and Lynn was able to formulate a wedding that I couldn't have dreamed of! She was patient, creative, understanding, flexible, available, and reasonable. We got married the weekend of Hurricane Florence; Lynn and the venue were the least of our worries knowing Lynn would not allow anything to ruin it. There were friends and family from all over (i.e. Philippines, Germany, Pennsylvania, South Carolina) and many commented that our wedding was the most beautiful they've been to. We would highly recommended Lynn Neal and The Hotel Concord for any event especially a wedding! -

Elegant & welcoming
We had our ceremony and reception at The Hotel Concord on 9-29-2018. Everything went off perfectly. Lynn was so patient with me and my indecisive back & forth mind. She jumped in with some great solutions to help me make decisions. We had a Very Big wedding party and were a tad all over the place however Lynn help us to get back on track down to helping me with my shoes and carrying my child. Very personable yet professional which is what you need that day when your nerves are everywhere. The Venue is a perfect place for a wedding it is very welcoming, elegant, and unique. My guests had nothing but good things to say. We highly recommend!!! -

Our daughter, Lindsey, was married 09/01/18 at The Hotel Concord. Can't say enough about this beautiful vintage venue and about Lynn and her fantastic staff! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Hotel Concord, Lynn and her team. The hotel itself is a beautiful space that has several different levels and rooms, which made our day feel as though it was hosted in several locations although the reception and ceremony were both on site. It has been recently refurbished while staying true to its history. I can't imagine anywhere more perfect to get married!
Lynn Neal was an amazing asset from day 1. She worked with us through the entire planning process, helping with everything from our table settings and linens to choosing our signature cocktails. She remembered things I had mentioned 6 months prior that I hadn't even remembered! Lynn has a huge selection of linens and decor to choose from, and it took a lot of stress out of the process that it was all on site and we did not have to coordinate multiple vendors and drop offs for decor. On the day off, everything seemed to go off without a hitch. She directed our caterers, florist, photo booth and DJ upon their arrival. All we did was show up and have an amazing time! I would recommend Lynn and the Hotel Concord to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue in the Charlotte area. -

We worked with Lynn to host our wedding this April. The venue is beautiful and Lynn is an expert in coordinating your big day. She works with you and within your budget to decorate for your event, and she has a great inventory of decor items to rent. The day-of coordination included in the venue rental is well worth the price. Lynn has a great relationship with local vendors and keeps everyone in the loop so that the day runs smoothly. We were very pleased to have her running the show and our wedding was fabulous. -

The minute we walked into The Hotel Concord, we were in love and didn't look anywhere else. The detail of the Hotel is beautiful and adds so much character to pictures and decorations. We loved working with the event coordinator, Lynn. She was so helpful, accommodating and easy to work with! She was unable to be there for the wedding so her assistant was there and she did fabulous! Love this venue. Such an elegant place for a wedding. We didn't pay too much for decorations because this venue is naturally beautiful.
Lynn is also awesome to work with. I emailed her several times and she would always get back to me so quickly. We hired her as the wedding coordinator on the day of the wedding and she took care of it all. Everything ran smoothly. We had an issue with our flower arrangements (some family members knocked them over) and Lynn was able to salvage the arrangements and we were still able to use them. We were extremely happy with her services! -

Our daughter's wedding and reception were held at The Hotel Concord and the day was absolutely perfect! Not only was the entire event perfect it was fun, comfortable, and simply joyful. As the mother of the bride, I fully anticipated that I would be nervous or stressed and that was certainly not the case at all. Lynn Neal had every detail completely organized, managed, and under control! There were not any details that she overlooked. The venue is beautiful and we hosted an afternoon wedding which was even more beautiful with all of the natural light. We had 150 guest and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the venue and how smoothly the event moved along. I appreciated the way that Lynn was very visible and helping the entire time and kept checking in with me to see if there was anything that we needed. But more than that, I was extremely pleased with the way she listened to both the bride and groom before the wedding; continued to check on the bride and groom throughout the day to see if they needed anything or wanted anything changed; and in general advised them and offered opinions and suggestions in a positive, helpful way. Additionally, she worked with the caterer and cake baker to have all of the food set up along with getting the flowers in place on the day of the wedding. We never even saw the florist the day of the wedding but the flowers were beautiful and in place. Lynn does a fantastic job of managing the entire event while making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. -

The event we had was a rehearsal dinner hosting 100 people which included the bridal party and mostly family and friends from out of town. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my wedding venue! Both my husband and myself are incredibly grateful to have found such a classy, beautiful, and timeless location. From the moment I stepped foot inside I was in awe at how beautiful everything was. So much detail is placed into it's upkeep, that the beauty of the venue speaks for itself without the need for excessive decorations, which is something I REALLY loved. What truly allowed for my wedding day to be more than I could have ever imagined, was the opportunity to work with Lynn, the venue coordinator. She is INCREDIBLE, and honestly became my sounding board throughout the entire wedding process. Since I was planning my wedding from Indiana, I was limited to doing the majority of things online, and loved having her there to simply ask questions or for advice whenever I was unsure about something. She has an unbelievably special way of allowing the bride to feel in control, while still providing honest and extremely useful advice. She has so many years of experience with weddings, and is able to completely diffuse any stressful situations without skipping a beat (she even helped to lace me into my corseted gown the day of my wedding! lol). I genuinely have no idea what I would have done without her throughout this process, and HIGHLY recommend not only this venue but her impeccable services to anyone looking for a venue near or around the Charlotte area. I am so glad I picked the Hotel Concord for my wedding venue! It was the perfect fit for our style and needs. Lynn was so helpful from the very beginning and did an amazing job coordinating everything on the day of. I wish we could get married every weekend!!! So thankful for video so we can relive it over and over again! We had about 155 guests and every fit comfortably in the main hall with some extra tables on the side balcony part. Our guest list was supposed to be bigger and it's great they can accommodate that with the upstairs area. We loved everything about our day! -

Lynn, at the Hotel Concord, is phenomenal! Worth her weight in gold! She made planning a wedding from 500 miles away easy. From setting up meetings on weird weekends between weddings when we would be in town, to coordinating the whole day - she was great. She was definitely on top of her job and pulled off our day flawlessly. Thank you Lynn! As for the Hotel itself, it is stunningly beautiful. The pictures came out gorgeous. Our entire experience working with the Events Manager and staff at The Hotel Concord was wonderful. Lynn is very organized and efficient and provided us with peace of mind. Stunning venue! The ball room is absolutely gorgeous. All of our guests were amazed by how beautiful and unique the hotel is. Lynn was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to me every time I called, texted, or e-mailed. We hired her as our coordinator as well and she stayed on top of everything and made my whole day run smooth! Lynn Neal, the event coordinator, was able to make wonderful recommendations of local vendors for us to choose from. Every single vendor we chose worked out perfectly and exactly as advertized. We did not experience a single disappointment or regret. And the hotel itself was magical! The space itself is full of fabulous 1930's details and Lynn provides all the modern amenities you could want to make the reception perfect. Lynn was also our wedding coordinator and was quietly present to make sure everyone was comfortable, and everything provided for. We couldn't have asked for anything more! And I thought Lynn's services and the hotel were extremely reasonable. Planning a wedding and reception from a great distance could have been very stressful. Instead it was a wonderful experience for the newly weds and for the parents and I feel we've made a great friend in Lynn Neal. She and the Hotel Concord have my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a very classy event space and highly competent event coordinator. -

We hosted my daughter's wedding reception for 125 people at the Hotel Concord and we could not have been happier with this venue. Our vision for the reception was that of classic and timeless elegance . Working with Lynn, the event coordinator, we chose a decor package that offered everything from the table linens, candelabras and vintage champagne glasses, to the candle-lit staircase and fireplace. Walking up the stairs in to the stunning ballroom was like stepping into a ballroom in Windsor Palace. It was exquisite.
Lynn was absolutely amazing. She made everything so easy for us. She was a true professional and her experience and knowledge were priceless. She helped us with every detail of the special day; guests hotels and transportation, the band, the Photo Booth, the florist, the cake,the caterer. We decided to provide our own alcohol and Lynn gave us the necessary forms for the liquor license, hired the bartenders, and then helped us decided how to stock the bar and calculate how much beer, wine and alcohol to purchase.
On the day of the wedding, I never lifted a finger. Lynn took care of everything to prepare the venue for a "reception to remember". Coordinating with all of the venders, she worked her magic everywhere. She helped the florist dress the most beautiful tables. She coordinated with the crew who came to set up the stage for the band. She set up the bar, and worked very closely with the caterer to make certain that our sit down dinner was perfect.
From the moment our guests arrived for cocktails to the sparklers send-off of the Bride and Groom, everything was spectacular.. The Hotel Concord is a treasure. And Lynn Neal, the Hotel's event coordinator, helped make our dreams come true.

We had our wedding reception at The Hotel Concord and our guests would not stop talking about it! They complimented on how gorgeous it turned out and how the location was perfectly nestled right in downtown Concord. Lynn was very professional and organized, since day one. We met with her a couple of times before the actual wedding day and it almost seemed like she knew what our tastes were! If we ever had a question, she would always responded quickly. Since, all of our other services were close in downtown Concord, Lynn took care of scheduling everything else with them. When we entered The Hotel Concord for our reception, we were "wowed" with how awesome of a job she did!! Even during the reception, she was asking us if we needed anything to drink or eat, or if she needed to take care of anything that we weren't happy with. Of course there was nothing that we weren't happy about, so that one was a no brainier! She really made this process so easy and made sure we weren't worrying about a thing. I would recommend her to anyone looking at The Hotel Concord!! You will not be disappointed! -

My husband and I had our 10 Year Anniversary Vow Renewal ceremony and party at The Hotel Concord a few weeks ago. The venue was absoulutely perfect for what we were looking for which was an intimate, ceremony and party for about 50 people. Most of our event was held in the ballroom (Ceremony/chairs set up on the side by the mantle and tables set up on the other side). The ballroom is gorgeous alone requiring minimal enhancements (i.e. drapery, lights, floor lights, etc.) We did opt to have a candelit mantle, chair covers, and sashes. Even if we did not opt for those enhancements, the room could stand up alone in beauty, natural light, and elegance. We also used the bar which is on the main level as well as a small room for appetizers with pub tables. I can't say enough about how perfect The Hotel Concord was for our event. We were originially looking at anohter venue close by, but The Hotel Concord beat the cost and again beauty of the other location (which was also very lovely). We would have needed to invest in more decorationd and enhancements at the other venue where as The Hotel Concord was perfect when we walked in the door.
Lynn was absolutely a pleasure to work with! She was responsive, helpful, and full of great ideas and referrals. She was flexible and even came through at the last minute to make sure we had a signature non alcoholic drink our caterer forgot to provide. The day of she was there helping to make sure everything ran smoothly. I'm sad I don't have another event to host at the hotel and to work with Lynn! :)
I would HIGHLY recommend The Hotel Concord for literally any event you have in mind. Lynn and the hotel made our 10 yr vow renewal extra special and I can't thank you enough! -

Lynn from the Historic Concord Hotel was one of our best choices when it came to vendors. She was professional and knew what questions to ask to get the ball rolling and to make sure our big day was a success. She offered a variety of packages and options and really put our minds at ease about how our event space was going to look. She even offered for us to come in to view similar receptions to see how the set-up would look. HUGE bang for our buck and I highly recommend her and the space.
The hotel itself, GORGEOUS!!! If I had started planning my wedding when I was 5 (I didn't by the way) this is what I would have envisioned for my special day. It was a dream come true to walk in to the foyer to mirrored walls, go up the first set of stairs to see a beautiful bar, as well as a lovely staircase up into the ballroom which has a mezzanine, a MEZZANINE! It was great having multiple views of the dance floor and additional space for guest and the DJ. The chandeliers, chairs, and linens as well as the other touches Lynn provided created an ambiance of elegance and grace. I knew it was the venue for me as soon as I walked up the stairs into the ballroom. You have to see it to believe it! <3 -

The Hotel Concord is the perfect venue to hold your reception. It's downtown Concord and was in walking distance of my wedding location. There is plenty of room for parking for all of your guest too!
The ballroom comes with the most beautiful chandeliers and tall windows with drapery - - a timeless look! Lynn was fabulous to work with. I am especially happy with the help she gave my handicapped brother and aunt. Lynn kept us well informed of the timeline we had discussed. Every detail was run as if it were her own family's event. She is definitely the perfect person for event planning and I will highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to plan any occassion that requires this venue. The Hotel Concord is beautiful and Lynn is the icing on the cake. My hat is off to her. -

From the beginning Lynn Neal the owner was very professional. Lynn responded to my emails in a timely manner. She was very reassuring that everything would turn out beautiful on our wedding day...She was absolutely RIGHT!! Everything was perfect. We also hired Lynn as our Director for the wedding. She was amazing, even my bridal party and parents were singing praises about Lynn. Lynn prevented any stress from arising for us on the wedding day. We made a great choice in this venue. The pricing was reasonable. The location was perfect all our vendors were in the same area, allowing great communication for the wedding vendors. To create a PERFECT day. We can say that the Historic Hotel Concord will make your event look magical and timeless! -

The weddding reception went off great...Lynn Neal had all the various caterers, florists, band, decor. all under controll...Being the Mother of the Bride I could enjoy myself because she had things running smoothly... I would highly recommend using The Concord Hotel for events...You can't beat the historic ballroom....Great place.. -

Our event was a fundraiser Tea for our non profit organization's work in Tanzania, Africa. We have held our annual event for a few years with Hotel Concord. It has been a pleasure working with them. They are dependable, flexible, and super accommodating. The venue is elegant. ( When we were looking for a venue for our first event, I knew that the Hotel Concord was the choice as I had recently held my daughter's wedding reception there and had been very pleased. Highly recommend. -

The hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It was more than I could have dreamed of. With its beautiful antique chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, and the over all feeling you get when walking in, its the perfect back drop to a romantic themed wedding! You will not find a better person to work with then Lynn. She was on top of everything and extrememly flexible to work with. I gave her ideas of things I wanted and she made them happen. I would HIGHLY suggest hiring her on to coordinate the reception! We even at the last minute decided to extend our reception an extra hour and she was more than happy to do it for us. She met with me whenever i needed and was extremely quick to respond back to emails. She is very well known in the wedding buisness, so she was able to offer advice and make reccommendations for other vendors. I could not have asked for a better experience!! -

We had our wedding reception at the Hotel Concord, and we absolutely loved every minute of it. Lynn, the hotel manager, was phenomenal throughout all of the stages of planning. She sat down with us multiple times, made recommendations, gave us options, and allowed time for us to decide what we wanted. In the end, we went with the Premiere Package with the Wedding Director, so Lynn arranged and decorated the entire space for us, and it was so elegant. When we first walked in, I was in absolute awe of how beautiful the room was. It was perfect.
I definitely recommend this venue, and I loved working with Lynn. The hotel took care of almost all of the set up and clean up, and the night went so smoothly. One of our guests described it as a Downton Abbey theme. It turned out to be exactly what we wanted -- magical. Thanks, Lynn! -

Our family attended a wedding 5 years ago at the Hotel and my daughter decided that night she would have her wedding there as well. What a pleasant surprise to find Lynn had come in and made amazing changes & upgrades to the venue.
Lynn is terrific and was such an easy person to work with. She has great ideas and is so willing to do what the Bride wants...she always finds a way to make it work for you. Our guests raved about how beautiful everything was.
If you are looking for an amazing, classic space for any event, check them out...you will not be sorry. -

Lynn is AMAZING to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and takes on a lot of responsibility. We met multiple times just to discuss changes or questions that I had. The hotel is very beautiful! It is old but Lynn is doing a wonderful job fixing it up! From the time we booked our date to the time we had the wedding there were already so many improvements! She has big plans for the hotel and I can only imagine what it will look like a year from now. Would definitely recommend working with Lynn at the Hotel for a wedding or any other large event! -

The Historic Concord Hotel is a beautiful venue for a wedding and/or reception. Lynn is absolutely wonderful to work with and very accommodating and flexible. She helped with our decorating and clean up and had great ideas as to how the room should look. Lynn also worked very hard during the reception to be certain everyone was satisfied (she even took one of the babies from a guest so they could enjoy their meal). We could not have asked for anything more and would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is planning a special event. Thanks for everything Lynn!!! -

After two venue changes we finally ended up with the right one for our reception. Lynn was AWESOME to work with and I would recommend her to anyone. Not many people would rip up flooring, replace light fixtures, paint etc. (by herself) so that the bathrooms look amazing for your wedding guests. This is such a beautiful space...if you love the vintage old Hollywood feel, you definitely need to check it out! -

Historic elegance it is. The Historic Concord Hotel is exactly what I wanted. After searching the Charlotte metro area over, I kept coming back to the Historic Concord Hotel. When I began my reception site hunt, I knew I wanted more than the typical 4 walls for my reception. I wanted something special that my guests would remember for years to come. My reception this past June was exactly that... incredibly elegant -- "like a picture from the Titanic" one of my guest commented. Don't be fooled by the rough edges, the grand ballroom cleans up well! Not to mention the amazing staff -- incredibly accomodating of all of your needs. We couldn't have asked for anything more from Alan Bishop, "the head honcho". He answered emails & phone calls immediately and always made sure to reassure us that "he had everything under control" and that he did. Guest are still contacting us, almost 3 weeks later, telling us how "amazing" everything was. -
